The dessert here is DELICIOUS. Such a simple concept but a great idea by combining two, warm moist chocolate chip cookies and placing some cookies and cream ice cream right in the middle and voila, an ice cream sandwich. I only paid 3$ for this delicious treat and would gladly come again to try out all the exotic flavors it has to offer. Maybe I would try the double chocolate chip cookies next time or maybe even the cookie dough. Now I can understand why there is such a huge line every time I see the store at the corner lol. PS even though I think the food is really delicious and would come again, I still think the food here is just a bit overhyped in my opinion. Not saying that it's bad, but I can't bring myself to say this is the best place to go. It definitely gave me a zing but didn't give me that extra ding or zang ya know.

Cheap and good for the price. There is a decent variety of ice cream flavours and cookies to choose from. The line was the longest I have ever seen for ice cream, but it was worth it.

I was a bit hyped up to try this place because I've heard nothing but great things, but it fell short of my expectations from what friends have expressed. I do think one of these would be awesome to have in Sacramento area, maybe around William Land Park area where the college campus and the Zoo are located would be fitting! So the line was wrapped out the door and down the sidewalk along one entire length of the building.. so that builds hype right there. I like that you can purchase cookies separately as desired. With the long line it would've been nice to have a side window so as you got closer you had time to peruse the menu a bit more and make a decision before it was time to order.. there are choices!! Once you have thrown your choice together they whip up your order and for under $5 a cookie sandwich you are on the go. The white chocolate macadamia cookies I had were soggy upon my first bite.. so I know it wasn't the melted ice cream. While we were there an employee dropped an ice cream bucket on the ground while trying to get out the last few scoops to not waste product.. at that point.. I think it should've just been tossed!! I will probably give the ice cream shop across the street a try next time and avoid the long line.

If you are walking around Downtown Berkeley, come check this place out! C.R.E.A.M. = Cookies Rule Everything Around Me You need to try their Ice cream sandwich! They have a variety of ice cream flavors and cookies to choose from. I had the green tea ice cream sandwiched between 2 snickerdoodles and it was DELISH! :D This place is cheap, awesome and way better than Diddy Riese in LA! Just be prepared to wait in a line that usually runs out the door.

* WHAT did you guys do with your ice cream? Salted caramel tastes like nasty grocery store ice cream * ice-cream doesn't melt ( using too many stabilizers? ) *Why are the cookies tasteless? (tastes like store bought cookies) GO back to what you were doing before and Do not change the recipe! This used to be my favorite place but last time went to creme I had to throw away my ice cream sandwich because it was just nasty! ME thinks NOT!

If you really love ice cream sandwiches, CREAM is yo spot. I passed by the other day when the line was only a few people long, so I popped in and got myself a peanut butter cookie & coconut ice cream sandwich. They were out of pistachio. Wamp wamp. Those things are HEARTY. Bring a buddy... and perhaps a serrated knife. Cut that thing in half! The cookies are made fresh and are completely delicious. I'm really into overeating (AMERICA!!!!), but you probably don't need to eat two of those things. My recommendation: use one as a plate/bowl and the other as an ice cream spoon. For $2, this place is definitely worth a try.

Always a good time here, prices have gone up since the last time I have been here but still worth it. The butter cookie was so soft and gooey still right when I got it! The sandwich was 3$ compared to the 1.50$ it was years ago, but I know they have been slightly rising. If you check in at this location on yelp and your total is over 5$, you get a free cookie!
