They should call this place BREAD BREAD. haha This place is a lot of bread and little filling in the crab sandwich. I took it back Usually a great place so just a new sandwich and had to check before I left. Next time I know.

This experience was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Which Wich, my friends and I ordered four sandwiches and waited OVER 30 minutes for said sandwiches. (There were 3 people working.) I ordered an ultimate BLT (BLT, avocado, chipotle mayo,) and added banana peppers and red onions. (See photo of bag and sandwich.) I received a sandwich containing just bacon, banana peppers, and red onion. I like bacon and all, but where is the rest of my sandwich?!

I loved this place, my mom even loved the sandwich from here too. I got turkey and a bunch of other things, its pretty cool how you make your own sandwiches here. The service is great here too, I was crackin some great jokes with the guy working the register. My sandwich was definitely very saucy. The bread was very fresh. I definitely am coming back. My ordered was ready with super quickness too. I love all the options they give you, there are soooooo many.

An interesting concept. Wasn't really a fan, today. My brain was on overload to begin with. Upon entering you look at the board and decide on the type of sandwich. Then, you grab a paper bag with the corresponding sandwich number. Pick up a Sharpie from one of the wells. Mark your choices from the too numerous options. I had a headache looking at the list before I got started. I got a hot 7 inch sandwich which is a small. There wasn't very much filling. The low carb choices were very good. self-serve beverages. The staff was very nice. It just took too long to prepare the sandwiches. Management might want to relook at operations. Maybe reduce some of the choices on the menu. Also enlarge the print of sandwich options. I can see why it takes so long for the sandwich makers. will I be back? I don't know. The sandwich was ok.

Love the idea of this place. But it was awwful. The guys behind the counter were nice but that's about the only positive thing I can say. Took forever to make 3 sandwiches, and they screwed up 2/3 orders (asked for avocado, there was none). All forgivable so far: but the sandwiches just...sucked. The part of the bread that didn't seem stale was water logged and soggy. The bacon is bacon crumble (I hope that's not what they use for their BLTs), and the small tuna I ordered had MAYBE 3 tablespoons of dry tuna salad, the rest was lettuce and bacon, and an ungodly amount of pickles (no I didn't order extra pickles). GFs turkey was borderline inedible, WAY salty and.... is that really wheat bread? Again with the stale/soggy. Lastly was the ham/bacon which my boys shared ... and they did finish it but both removed all the bacon crumble, guess they felt about it like I did. You want a good sandwich? Get in your car and drive east until you see the Statue of Liberty. Then go anywhere. It'll be better than anything you can find in the Bay Area. We don't do sandwiches here. Apparently.

Best sandwiches around hands down ! Came in for lunch around 3 didn't know what to pick so I asked an employee, she requested I try the Ultimate Blt. I asked for light bacon extra avocado I was very surprised that they didn't charge avocado even after I asked for extra. Was very pleased with my sandwich it was exactly what I had hoped for even better! I will most definitely be back.

Your average sandwich stop. The idea behind this place is great, and ordering is as easy as it gets. Unfortunately I found the ingredients they use to be super salty and just generally meh. The people working there are always great, and their soda machine is pretty amazing. It's not a bad place, just there are much better options just around the corner.

I like that this place is trying to put a slightly new spin on sandwiches, particularly since I consider myself a "sandwich guy." I can have a sandwich for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (but not the same sandwich!). I have only been here once. The sandwich was definitely decent, but not really outstanding. Hence the 3 star review. You will find lots of options here which is really cool. If you like sandwiches I suggest you give this place a try and see if it does the trick for you.

After reading some of the reviews, I'm not sure what type of sandwich shop people expect from Which Wich. It is not a Mom & Pop shop, where the sandwiches are big as your head. It is more an alternative to Subway, Quiznos or Togos. With that expectation in mind, I really like Which Wich and prefer it over the other 3 on most days. Why it's cool: - You write down what you want on a bag with many many different toppings like filling out a scantron. This beats telling someone verbally what you want, and them forgetting and giving you the wrong thing! - The bag not only has your order but is also the way they give you your sandwich. - Their hot sandwich is far superior than their cold ones. The bread tastes much better! - I pretty much always get their Grinder sandwich. - They have Hot Pepper mix (like giardiniera). Awesome! - The location is clean and has two tvs, turned to sports. - You can go there get a sandwich and probably not speak a word to anyone if you didn't feel like it. - Their branding is everywhere! And it's fun and modern, not overbearing like Five Guys'. - Their soda machine has crushed ice. A rarity I know. - They are open until after 8pm. Sandwiches for dinner! 7" sandwiches are $6.50, which is plenty for me.

If I could write a review with no stars I would - This place is an absolute disaster! First time to try and will be the last! Waiting for over 30 min for a salad and with still no sign of it is crazy..tickets were backed up so far that if I had waited any longer I'm sure it would have taken over an hour ! Asked for a refund - as did other guests - and left to never return!

Have eaten here a few times during my lunch break. Staff is super friendly and the sandwiches are made pretty fast. I normally get the roast beef and it's really good. They fill the sandwiches with a lot of meat. I have been to better sandwich shops, but have also been to way worse lol. This place is good... I will be back!

I am a frequent visitor to whichwich in Belmont. This used to be such a wonderful and efficient place. What excited me most was the efficient process that was in place. My sandwich was always ready in 5-10 minutes and there was hardly any long wait. In the last 2 weeks, seems like the staff has been changed. There is a minimum of 30 minute wait every-time I visit this place. Today was a total disaster. After a wait of 30 minutes, I received my sandwich with half of the ingredients missing (pesto, lettuce and garlic). On enquiry, I was told that they ran out of pesto. Should you not let the customer know about that earlier? On providing feedback, the excuse given was the staff is new. I assume there is some training provided to the employees as part of the onboarding? Though I dont see the need for any training to make a simple sandwich with the ingredient list already provided.

Which wich has averaged it's pros and cons out to give it a solid 3 stars. If you have never been, you basically can order online (or in store and check off on your sandwich bag) and start out with some base sammies from turkey to chicken, beef, veggie or seafood, and from there you can start choosing things you'd like to add on it such as bacon (1.50 extra), avocado (1.50 extra), mushrooms, lettuce, spinach, dressings, oils and spices and whether or not you'd like it hot, cold, wheat, white, or even in a bowl or wrap. Just fyi this isn't your spot that has dutch crunch if that's what you're looking for. As you can see, your sandwich is super customizable and they have plenty of options to make your sandwich yours. I got the medium chicken sandwich and put the toppings of my choice on it. The medium is a little longer than normal however the bread itself isn't very wide so it's not totally difficult to finish but half of it can be sufficient enough for one sitting. The ingredients were pretty fresh especially the avocado which I appreciated because sometimes the avocado can be a hit or miss at some places. And if you're adding bacon they use bacon bits which is a cool change rather than your average slices. After eating the sandwich (also depends on what you're getting) you don't feel as heavy and oily as some sandwiches do. They portion out the ingredients well enough to still make you feel light and full and not wanting to slip into a food coma. A con about this place though is that it is quite expensive especially when you're adding the bacon and avocado toppings which will make your $9.50 dollar sandwich into a $13 dollar one which I don't feel the sandwich is that good to be paying that much. My sister got a large which is pretty big but the base on that is like $12 bucks pre-toppings. The system they have there is cool though because they make it clear for the customers and themselves what exactly you want for your order and it's made as you order so there's no ingredients that are sitting out for hours as Subway would have it.

Customized sandwiches with a large selection of toppings. The bread here is great and I always get their hot pepper mix as one of my toppings -- it's quite greasy but allows you to skip the spreads/dressings and yet have a very flavorful sandwich. The order process whereby you fill out a form on a brown paper bag is great since it makes things more efficient and it's a more relaxing experience than yelling over the counter through the assembly line as you do at places like Subway or Chipotle. The small sized sandwich (7 inches) is actually pretty hefty and filling and probably sufficient as a meal for most people. I'd give them 4 stars but dinging a star because they added lettuce to my sandwich instead of the spinach that I requested. When I brought it to their attention, they said they were out of spinach. I can understand that ingredients run out, but they really should have informed me when I placed my order and before they added an ingredient to my sandwich that I didn't request. Especially since the whole concept of this place is that you get to customize your sandwich to your liking.

This sandwich shop started off well, but recently it's turned into slowsville. Waiting up to 30 minutes *after* I submit an order is for much classier places - this is my last visit.

I was pretty excited to come across a Which Wich so close to my work. I haven't been to one in 5 years - used to be one of my favorite lunch spots in San Diego. I left with my sandwich and when I got back to my office to enjoy it, I noticed the egg I paid extra for as well as the cheese weren't even on the sandwich. Not to mention it took nearly 15 minutes for them to make it - with no more than 5 other people in the restaurant who already had their sandwiches. Slow service and a poorly made sandwich burned a hole in my wallet. Will try the one in Burlingame next time.

Haven't had a which wich in over a year! Didn't realize that they're in CA, too (Hoosier native). Came an hour before closing, only customers, no wait. Good service, no complaints. Did see a guy come in who didn't want to bother with the bag, but when told the bag was mandatory, walked out. Weird, huh?

Really fast service and delicious sandwiches. That's all you need to know. They have their ordering system down and I just wish other places would have a similar business model since it's so efficient. I got the chicken cordon bleu (sliced deli style chicken with ham) and all the veggies and spicy mayo. Served hot of course. I don't even know why cold sandwiches are even an option, but to each their own I guess. They have so many options for free add-ons, it's great. Try the candied walnuts.

Missed half the ingredients in custom sandwich, no cheese or mayo or onions or mushrooms? What's up with that? Why ask people to fill out detailed orders if you're going to ignore them? Also no mushrooms in daily special sandwich--meatball grinder, which has more salami than meatballs. Hot sandwich should not have cold spots and not have enough salt to kill a shark. Anyways, this place is better at odd hours when you want a shake and an Elvis sandwich. Good shakes, but pricey. Better sandwiches elsewhere.

We ordered our sandwiches online. Sandwiches were ready when we got there. No waiting at all! I ordered a turkey sandwich and it was delicious. Also ordered the house chips which were yummy as well. Ordering online was very convenient. Definitely will go back.

I've been here twice. Nothing special after all you can order a custom sandwich at a lot of places. Why 2 stars: My sandwiches have been made sloppy, missing ingredients and not toasted when requested. I found the tables to be un kept and kinda gross to sit at unless you wipe them your self. Which was odd considering the employees are talking to each other... Really wanted to like it.

I've eaten here multiple times and is my go to place for lunch. I'm one of their regulars here and they always have my back. I really like their variety that they have for each sandwich category. I've never had so many options before. The first time I came here it was a little daunting to say the least! lol the first sandwich I ordered was the wicked. Lots of choices to put inside your sandwich. Excuse me I mean wich haha because you know it's called Which Wich Nowadays I usually order off of the vegetarian menu. My favorite is the tomato & avocado. Combine that with mushroom make it cold lettuce red onions cucumbers and sometimes dried cranberries if I want to give myself a sweet surprise sometimes :D Service is pretty rockin. When they first opened things were pretty rocky to say the least. Can't blame them though. New store new people. Once they things situated they just keep getting better and better. Don't even get me started on their shakes. I've gone pretty crazy with the ones I order. Anywhere from what's on their shake order cards to adding cookies, brownies, krispies, bacon, avocado, even their Elvis Wich sandwich! Adding cucumber is also surprisingly amazing ^(^^,)^ all the shakes ALL OF THEM!!! (ã¤`)ノ On a side note.... Not gonna lie though.... I've had to lay off the shakes I have over 5 of their large cups from the shakes I've ordered lol that's hella calories I've forced myself to downgrade to first regulars than to smalls haha ...I want one right now... I use to live in Chicago and would frequent the subway near my place and I can say with certainty that I would choose which Wich over them. Who said my Cheers, where everybody knows my name, needed to be a bar?

Ive had pretty good success with the other locales throughout the bay area. Coming in here late it was a skeleton crew working. Decided to get the Wicked which was beef, turkey ,bacon and a few choices of cheese. I added buffalo sauce for some zip. Now the sandwich was tasty but was super messy. As a hot sandwich however, the buffalo sauce was cold so it kind of cooled the sandwich down too much. I guess next time Ill make sure they make everything hot. 3.5 stars

Came here because I was going to meet up with some old co workers during their lunch hour. This is a pretty small location, with a handful of seating inside. It is located in a super duper small plaza where the parking is tight and it's hard to really maneuver around the parking lot. The workers were friendly and the place was pretty clean. I ordered a cuban sandwich but in a lettuce wrap. I tell you, I did not expect the lettuce wrap to be big at all. I swear it looked like it was a foot long burrito and they wrapped it up in lettuce very well. A little too too much lettuce if you ask me, but it was good. I hate that it drips water on the bottom but it's always expected so you just have to be prepared before you eat it.

Superior sandwich.... hmm I don't know about that. Which Wich is a catchy name just wish their sandwiches were as good as their name. I came in wanting to grab something quick before my workout and decided to give this place a try. It's sandwiched (yes, pun intended) right between Starbucks and Five Guys in a plaza with teeny tiny parking. I came in mid-afternoon so it was pretty much empty and I had all the time in the world to decide what I wanted. With their set up, I can imagine it would be a push and shove type situation to get your order in and I don't want to be all up in that.... no thanks! So first you start off by picking the brown bag that a has a list of stuff you could possibly want in your sandwich. The brown bags are sorted out by type of meat so don't grab the wrong one! For this occasion, I went with turkey but they had a ton of other options like beef, italian, veggie, chicken, etc. After you select the brown bag, you grab one of the red sharpies and start creating your beautiful masterpiece of a sandwich. They also have specialty sandwich meat types on the top, for example, the turkey one had thank you turkey which is thanksgiving turkey which is pretty much your thanksgiving turkey meal in a sandwich or turkey reuben which comes with saurkraut and thousand island. I went ahead and picked the Thanksgiving turkey because who could pass up stuffing and cranberry sauce? not this girl! I also added lettuce, cheese, saurkraut (can't get enough of this stuff), banana peppers, and mustard all stuffed into a wheat roll. You also have the option of getting it cold or hot (but getting it hot takes longer). Once you're done with your brown bag, you hand it to the cashier and pay. My sandwich took about 5-7 minutes, it wasn't that long since no one else was there. The workers were pretty friendly, they talked to me as I was waiting for the sandwich. When I got it, I was surprised by how big it was. I guess I thought 7" was a little smaller, so that was a happy surprise. However, I did not like how mushy my entire sandwich was. I swear, it was like 85% stuffing and then 5% cranberry sauce, and the last 10% was all the other stuff which includes turkey. Where was the turkey?!?! I ordered the Thank you turkey not thank you stuffing sandwich -_- and for a hot sandwich, it wasn't that hot either. The sandwich was underwhelming and I didn't feel like it was worth the $7. But if you're a hugeeeeeee toppings fan then this is your joint because Which Wich has a lot of choices. If I do go back, I'll give the shake a try since that seems to be popular and not the turkey, thank you.

First off the actual sandwich is nothing to rave about... All they have is processed meats, no real signature sandwiches... I bought two sandwiches one for me and one for my son....You walk in and you grab the bag that later on they put your sandwich in...on the bag there is a checklist on what you want on your sandwich and they make it accordingly...I DONT KNOW WHY THEY HAVE THIS seeing that they made BOTH sandwiches wrong!!! I'll pass on this!!

I've been to this location 4 times now. The staff is always friendly, but the sandwiches have been hit and miss. My first visit, I wrote this off as me ordering the wrong thing... trying to be a little too creative with my sandwich. So, the next two times, I stuck to a basic chicken salad sandwich. I ordered the "large" size and was pretty happy with the amount of chicken salad and other fixin's they added. But today... today was a horrible let down. I wasn't quite as hungry, so I ordered a small chicken salad, on wheat, unheated, with lettuce and pickles. I'll post the picture of what I actually received. When I picked up the bag, I thought they had just thrown a bread roll in there, it was so light. I wasn't far from wrong. When I opened up my sandwich, there had to have been only 4-5 small pieces of diced chicken in there. Maybe four pickle slices and barely a sprinkle of shredded lettuce. And I paid $6.25 for that (not including tax). No wonder it was ready in under 2 minutes. I'm sorry to say that I don't know if I'll return to this store. I shouldn't have to select (and pay for) "double meat" to get ANY meat in my sandwich, should I? Well, on to the online survey now...

OMG! This is an excellent gluten free 'fast food' option. The vegetables were fresh in my Which Bowl (essentially is a glorified salad). SUCH A GREAT SELECTION OF FRESH VEGGIES!! And it WAS so good- didn't even need to SF the salad dressing because it was so flavorful. Mmmm... you have got to try this! Service was great and the place was clean.

Sandwiches ok. Service not. They used to have nice people who smile. The new manager not so much. Why doesn't the owner along with the corporate office understand that bad service equals bad service which equals bad reviews. Try another location where you can receive both.

Good sandwiches...but, pretty pricey and poor customer service. The fountain machine was out if certain drinks and none of the employees could refill it. My options were getting a partial refund or to pick some other drink. I can't figure out why no one could refill beverages??? All in all, a good concept, but very poor customer service. We probably won't be back to buy 4 sandwich meals for almost $50.

I've been to this Which Which a couple times now and have observed the following: 1. I appreciate that they offer the option to replace your bread for the sandwich, with lettuce (lettucewhich). 2. TIP: buffalo chicken on a lettucewhich with pickles is a definite NO NO. Unless you're into spicy and sour. 3. Their Oreo shake is the bomb diggity! 4. Staff is friendly! Some workers definitely friendlier than others, but that's life. (Unfortunately, I believe that the quality of your sandwich depends on the person making it. I ordered the same exact sandwich two days in a row. The first time I got it, it was perfect! Also, the guy who made it was friendly! The second time I ordered it, the sandwich was SALTY and I had a difficult time finishing it. Also, the girl who made it, didn't even call out my name. No smile either. Ugh.) 5. Clean facility and they have two TVs! The past few days/weeks the soccer games have been up! Overall, pretty good place! Good place to build your own sandwich (besides subway, but meh subway).

I was in the area and decided to try it on a whim. I am sure glad I did. You pick up a bag and check off all the toppings you want, then they build it and give you the sandwich in the bag. I had the Muffuletta and it was very good.

I wanted to like this place but was sadly disappointed. The ordering system was confusing at first but being able to mark everything you want in your sandwich on the bag was pretty cool. I ordered a small (7") Turkey sandwich on white (wish they had dutch crunch!) and my number one complaint is that is was SO DRY!!! I had to ask for extra condiments to try and make it bearable but it was still dry. Also, if you get bacon on your sandwich keep in mind you'll be getting bacon crumbles, not strips. Overall the service was friendly but the sandwich was not one I'll be trying ever again.

We used to visit the Which Wich in Burlingame, which is very organized, exceptionally clean, and always friendly. We were happy to have a location closer to our home. We've been here several times and it is very dirty. The counters/drink station/tables/floor are always disgusting. Even during non-peak times when there are few people there and no reason not to clean. Today, however really took the cake. We came in and there was a girl who called a guy over to take our order. He came over with his gloves on and proceeded to take our order. He answered the phone in the middle of our order and talked to the owner/manager/unknown person (gloves still on, touching phone, wall, face, other register) about how much business they were doing that day rather than finishing our order or even acknowledging us. Very rude. After we paid, he went right back to the food station, with the same pair of gloves and starting making people's food. Several times he reached up to rub his nose with the back of his gloved hand while making food. This is completely unacceptable (and against the law!) food safety procedures. Our finished sandwiches went immediately into the trash and we will NEVER be back. Eat here at your own risk!

I've only been once, and kind of torn between 2-3 stars based on the single experience. Pros: Service, cleanliness, ability to customize sandwich (including "skinny" where you have them take out some of the bread), lots of veggie options, lettuce bowl/wrap options for those avoiding bread altogether, great milkshakes, pretty good value for the money. Cons: Quality of meat It's quite possible that I just ordered the wrong thing (sriracha tuna) or put the wrong combo of toppings in my sandwich, but at first bite I knew they were using mediocre tuna and I find that inexcusable. I liked the concept and service enough to give them another try, but I hope the other meats are better quality.

A nice location,a little pricey but totally worth it n u will get full.when ur ready to order u grab one of the brown paper bags and select whatever u want,so much easier than saying it&cool customizing.i ordered the salad bowl and it's was effin bomb&delicious!i never had to eat a salad without dressing that's how good it was and my bf ordered a large sandwich it was as long as my arm.we both fell in love n will be back again! As a first timer, not bad! Like the custom sandwiches. Got medium 10.5 chicken lite. Little soggy (but then I chose lots of condiments. Like the use of aluminum foil-- no napkins. Bit prucey but goid alternative to usual Togos and Subway.

I come to this location about once a week. This has been my experience: Pros: * Better quality ingredients then other sandwich chains (cough, cough, Subway, cough). * Efficient ordering system (the bag system is a neat idea). * Milkshakes a good. * Staff is usually friendly. * They have a rewards program. Cons: * Price. * Distribution of meat throughout the sandwich is inconsistent (the middle of the sandwich will be thick with meat but the ends are usually just bread). * They've been out of ingredients several times (how do you run out of cheese in a sandwich shop?). * Takes too long to make heated sandwiches. * Meat in toasted sandwiches is often not hot. * Tables and floors are regularly dirty. * Usually flies buzzing around. * Coke Freestyle machine is regularly out of beverages and/or modifiers (it was out of cherry and vanilla modifiers and four/five of the sodas from December through February). * Not enough parking during peak times.

Overrated by far. I called in an order for two sandwiches and the person helping me had no idea what he was doing. When the order was picked up, it wasn't ready. Once I opened my order, it was completely wrong, and tasted super salty. The sandwich itself is like eating Quiznos but with more salt. Even though I have a free sandwich coupon to make up for my poor experience, I can't see myself coming back.

I give two stars because I think the idea/concept at this place has potential and if run properly could be a better place, but they def should change some things. When I decided to try this place, I had not heard anything good or bad about it, and I was curious, so I walked in and was pretty confused, after walking around in circles for 5 minutes I walked up to the counter and began to order, immediately rather than asking me if I had ever been there, the girl gave me attitude and told me I had to go get a brown bag and sharpie and fill out what I wanted, so I began to do this, then I handed the girl my bags and noticed there were treats at the front, she then told me I needed to fill out another bag to purchase and at this point I wasted so much time feeling out the bag, I was over it and decided against the treat! To make a long story short, 3 people working what appeared to be an assembly line or sort, and no joke 20 minutes later to make two sandwiches, I was finally out the door! I got the meatball sandwich and I forget what I got for my bf but neither one of us liked our beak, so most likely will not be back. Sorry wish I could say better things.

This is not worth a 30 minute wait. Yes, I waited over 30 minutes for my sandwich to be made. I went about 1:15, so there was some residual lunch time crowdedness, but that was mostly people still eating. The ordering process was a little odd, but I figured it out fairly quickly and went to the cashier. Not really any wait there, but I was a little concerned at all the people standing around. I figured ok, this isn't going to be done by the time I get my drink but shouldn't be too bad. Around 10 minutes in I seriously considered just leaving. I kept telling myself they are working the best they can and it's still new, so I'll be patient, but really, 30 minutes?, that's too much. Others waiting were getting antsy as well. The sandwich was ok, a little heavy on the condiments. I don't think it was worth the wait so I would be hesitant to try again.

The Banh Mi makes up for any other complaints. But I don't have any other complaints. Service was friendly and fast, I didn't see any issues with cleanness. I'd say it's as close to the perfect sandwich shop that I've found.

I've been back a few times cause I've oddly craved their turkey sandwich. Not sure why cause it's nothing special. Today I was disappointed because the lettuce was not shredded like normal, but appeared to be torn by hand into large hunks, which made the thing very difficult to eat. I'm hoping the shredder machine is getting fixed or something. The coke machine was out of lots of flavors. In general I don't get why they lump the meat on the center seam of the roll, resulting in all the meat and cheese in one place so for most of the sandwich you get bites of all veggie only or all meat only. I always open it to even it out, which is messy.

Pros: 1) The ordering process of writing your order on a bag is novelty. It take a second to understand it but it is a clever way to make sure you have the right order and right sandwich (especially when making a large order) 2) The place is clean and the workers are friendly. 3) Nice variety of sandwiches. Cons: 1) The sandwich is mediocre at best. A whole LOT of bread and not so much meat. You can find much better around the corner at Mr. Pickle's. 2) It takes way too long for them to make sandwich. One sandwich took them about 20 minutes and I had two people in front of me. I really wanted to like this place so I'll give them another chance. Maybe I will try the less bread option that they have and see if that fairs better. As for now, two stars.

Pretty good sandwiches for a reasonable price. Their ordering system is easy and efficient, plus they have dozens and dozens of choices of toppings and sauces. Don't be fooled by the sizes, the small is plenty big, the medium is ridiculously big and I would guess the large feeds a family.

My boyfriend and I went here on my birthday for lunch, it was the first time we had ever been to Which, Which and I will go back and recommend this place to friends! Upon entering and ordering your sandwich, it is a bit confusing if it is your first time visiting. However, it is not hard to understand the process. I would like to, however, suggest maybe someone that is kind of like a "floater" behind the counter that is available to greet guests and help them if their first time visitors. The cashier was the person that was explaining the process. She was able to come around the corner only once to explain the process. We did go around lunch time and there was a bit of line that she needed to tend to of which left newcomers, like ourselves, to fend for themselves. Like I said, it's not a hard process to figure out, but it would be nice to have a little direction. We shared the "Wicked" Which, which was delicious. After eating our halves, we both said we could totally eat another! We have checked out a couple other sandwich shops that aren't Subway in the area, and we both agreed that Which, Which was our favorite out of the ones we've tried!

I have only one thing to say about which which, I like that they have breakfast sandwiches. is only having like two options for bread supposed to be part of their image? they might have good milkshakes.

My wife and I stopped by this place to grab a quick bite to eat. We were first timers so we didn't know how this place worked. Once we stepped in, the person behind the register asked if we needed help. Then, another employee walked up to us and asked if we needed help. Right off the bat, great customer service. The employee showed how to order and it was a simple process. We ordered and split a 14 inch. It was more than enough. The vegetables were fresh and the sandwich was good! If we're in the area again, we'll stop by to try their other sandwiches.

I love this sandwich place. You can customize a sandwich to your own liking. The first time I was here, I had the pulled pork sandwich, but it's seasonal. The sandwiches are ordered by writing on the paper bags corresponding to the sandwich. You can also draw pictures on the back. I love to write different names like "the Earl if Sandwich", and the staff is so enthusiastic and energetic towards all customers. I'm not a big fan if pickles, but they sure make them good here! They also have punchcards, so you'll earn a free sub with a certain amount of sandwiches purchased. Great food and great service. I'll definitely be coming back.

My small business is always looking for good lunch options in San Carlos / Belmont area, and we go to which wich about once a week. I gave it three stars because half the team loves it, and half the team is so so on it. Plus: You can order online. There are a ton of options. Good vegitarian options. friendly staff. AMAZING oreo shake!! Minus: Same sandwich can differ in quality day to day. Always seems to take a long time...

Sandwiches are 7", 10.5" or 14". I decide on a 10.5" sandwich. All the 10.5" sandwiches are the same price, makes deciding simple. Certain specified extras have an additional charge $. But the ordering is odd. You need to choose a paper bag and mark what you want on your sandwich. There is only two choices of bread, white or wheat. The have a sandwich called a Rueben. But I need to mark choices for what I want on the sandwich. I get my sandwich, but I didn't notice it doesn't come with napkins. I need to rip off a piece from a roll of a brown paper roll. The Reuben is good, but by the time I'm about to finish, the bread is soaked through and very soggy. I would not recommend these sandwiches for take-out. The sandwich is wrapped in aluminum foil, retaining the heat, but with the moisture sealed in, it would get very soggy. If I go back, I'd probably try the shrimp po' boy specialty sandwich. I would stay away from the regular typical sandwiches.

This is a pretty good place for a quick lunch. I ordered the five meats wicked sandwich. They made is a hot sandwich and the bread was so toasty and crunchy and delicious! I like that I can pick what I want on the sandwich because I tend to be a picky eater. I'll come here again for sure!

Today was my first time at Which Wich. The ordering board/ bag thing is both interesting and easy , and confusing at the same time. Ultimately more easy than confusing. The service is fast and the end product is pretty good for a sandwich. I even got mine to go before sitting in traffic to the city for a while and my sandwich held up well without being soggy and gross.

I've been a big fan of WW, since I discovered them about 10 years ago while in Dallas. The sandwiches were good and the bag system was very efficient. Not sure what happened between that time and now - or maybe it is just the Belmont location - but things went way downhill. Not only does it take forever to get your sandwich made, but that location is always a mess, the ice machine is always broken and the layout must have been designed by someone at Ikea. Who would put the soda machine smack in the middle of the store so that it blocks anyone that walks through? Also, if you sit outside - because you have to - the door locks behind you. The tables are consistently dirty and sticky. With all that said, the sandwiches are still pretty good and glad to see they still have the reward program.

Came in about a week ago. Still remember what I ordered. Very interesting way of ordering a sandwhich. You pick a brown bag in the entrance and you pick every single thing you want on there which is great because there's no way they can mess up your order. In my case, I accidentally checked the box for cheez wiz as my cheese option instead of provolone. My mistake but the sandwhich was still delicious that's why they get 5 stars. Clean place. Not alot of seating area but it depends what time you go. 3 or 4 tv screens. Would come here again although slightly overpriced for my personal budget.

The sandwiches were okay. Just okay. I must say it took a little longer than I thought being that after she took my order she walked to the back for a few minutes(maybe she needed to find something?) who knows? One girl was really sweet, I cant believe I forgot her name already I believe it was Allison(thats what Ill call her, forgive me). The other worker(didn't bother to ask her name being that she had no manners or courtesy) was just whatever. Okay and whatever are the words I have for this place. I had ordered a turkey sandwich. Barely any meat. Flavorful but very little meat. I should have asked to take the bread out since there was a small amount. Another thing it was really dirty and I came a while after lunch hour. What I found really rude was as Allison was making our sandwiches, the other girl wasn't doing anything and asked her to clean the tables when she was done and sweep the floors with the most attitude. Not sure if shes a manager to feel she has authority but even your managers shouldn't talk to you like that. Question is, why didn't she do it? So overall, food was okay. Service just depends on who your dealing with I guess. Ive been to better locations.

I love this place, eaten here many times and never any complaints. The service is wonderful and very welcoming. The food is fantastic I'm a regular and they always take care of me. I always get the wicked it's amazing with a vanilla milkshake omg there shakes are unbelievable. They always have a sports channel playing so it's great I could enjoy my game while I eat my sandwich. Defiantly going back.

The value of a life lesson costed me $18 today. Thank you morons for have me know exactly what it feels like to be a customer at this lousy wannabe Quiznos. Change the name from "which wich" to "which bitch" because I sure felt like one spending $18 on a flimsy sandwich. Reviewers - spend the $5.49 across the street at Safeway and I promise you will get a better quality sandwich. Want to splurge a little? Spend $9 at Mr. Pickles around the corner although that place is also meh but it's a tip top sandwich spot compared to this place. Overall you'll feel like a champ and less of a chump.

Why can't I give this zero stars? Ridiculously high maintenance system of ordering. I had to fill out a scantron form just to place an order. Then when I asked some questions at the register, causing me to want to change my order, he made me get a new form and get in line again. Really? Crappy customer service. So what value is the guy at the register? Considering how much work I had to do to place my order, I should just be able to slip that form and my credit card in a machine to place my order. Oh, and somebody needs to take the time to actually replenish the chips shelf now and then.

I love coming here for lunch. One of my favorite sandwich places. I usually get the lettucewich style, which is like a lettuce burrito. They have different specials every month on top of an already impressive selection.

When they actually get the order right the place is great! Prices are competitive and affordable. Almost every tasty option you can think of for custom sandwich. However the only downside is that 3 out of four times they seem to forget a few things when they have the list written right on the bag. . Like just now ordered hot and it was served cold. Lol, but I'm still going to come back here once in a while for lunch.

Skimpy sandwiches. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich pictured on all the posters. Received a nicely toasted, TINY sandwich with little steak, barely any cheese, a few strips of peppers, a few onions. It did not resemble the photos at all. Never going there again. Not worth the money they charge.

I love this place. The first time I went here I made a blah sandwich, and it almost didnt give it another try. I'm so glad that I ended up coming back. I eat here whenever I am in the area. The shakes are pretty good to. The only down side is the location. The parking lot could be pretty tight if you have a large suv.

Ok, I like the concept of customizing your sandwich, but this place has a bunch of newbies working there and really need to get trained properly. All of the sandwiches we ordered were WET! Too much condiment that they were not just soggy, but wet. Flavor wise I like the garlic/spicy spread, but overall I would say one notch above Subway sandwiches. Not sure, I may try it again after I give them time to work out the kinks.

Between getting my nails done & haircut, I needed a quick bite to eat. I was so happy to try this place; I love how you have many options & you pick your meat, cheese, bread, & so forth by checking off everything on a bag & opresenting it to the staff; easy as 1-2-3. I had the Italian with salami, pepperoni, & capicola with provolone & hot peppers on white bread. You can choose to gedt things cold or hot; I had mine hot; it was one one of the best I have ever had. You do have to wait a few minutes & it is needless to say, worth it. Paired with a Sprite, you cannot go wrong. You have a choice of small, medium, or large as far as the sandwiches & a medium is perfect. My mother loved her lettucewich (lettuce in place of bread with turkey & pesto & also bowlwiches for those who want more of a salad. I love how this place has choices for everyone. The service is very friendly & efficient & the prices a little more than elsewhere & the atmosphere clean casual. So, for wonderful sandwiches at a little more than what you would pay at your typical sandwich shop or deli with friendly service in a casual atmosphere, Which Wich cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.

I like the sandwiches at Which Wich! The bag system is efficient and the food is fresh. I also must say that they milkshakes are some of the best. The reason for the 3 stars is the price. Yes, their small sandwich is a bit bigger than most sandwiches at other places, but the price makes it not really worthwhile. I ordered a small ham sandwich and a regular shake and it was $13. Far too much for a quick lunch stop

I didn't understand the name, but decided to check it out (actually, I wanted a sandwich but didn't have any other options on Easter). It has a large menu, lots of options, but they're sandwich is a sandwich. I had their signature sandwich and it was alright, but I'd go back to try others.

Worst sandwich ever. Will not go back. Stale bread and little meat. 3 sandwiches 2 sodas and 2 bags $30.00 not worth it at all

I am giving two stars because everyone there seems friendly and I really like the fact that you can mark in what you want on your sandwich just like at the counter... It makes it easier for everybody plus it ensures that you won't forget any toppings you might want on there... However in my opinion the sandwiches are definitely not superior... I got a chicken sandwich and I was disappointed to see that it was sliced chicken not chicken breast.. Honestly the quality of the sandwiches there are not very high...I feel like I could easily make one just as good if not better at my house for much cheaper nothing very exciting... And if you get a hot sandwich don't expect it to be too hot... And they are not very generous on the sauces the sandwich I had was pretty dry... On the plus side their house chips are good and their shakes are good... If you just like a simple cold sandwich with lots of toppings then this place could work for you but when I go to a sandwich place I prefer a hot juicy sandwich where I can actually taste the sauce inside... so I won't be coming back..

This is my second time here and they forgot my bacon both time. They charged extra for bacon too. There's never crispy strings in the sandwich either. The only upside is the staffs are pretty friendly.
(3)
Cindy C.
The sandwiches are tasty but since there are so many items to customize, the staff usually forgets something. I ordered the sliced egg twice and they didn't add it either time. It gets crowded during lunchtime so the wait is long. I would come back but at a non- peak time and I would have to check my sandwich to make sure it had everything I ordered.

(1)Luke S.
(5)Debbie T.
(2)S S.
Apparently.
(1)Mariela R.
(5)Chris S.
(3)Bob F.
(3)Rachelle T.
(3)Jorinne J.
(1)Krys L.

(3)Dinesh M.
(3)Rustan M.
This sandwich shop started off well, but recently it's turned into slowsville. Waiting up to 30 minutes *after* I submit an order is for much classier places - this is my last visit.
(1)Anthony B.
(1)Lucy C.
Weird, huh?
(4)Jennifer T.
(4)Ned L.
(2)Christina C.
We ordered our sandwiches online. Sandwiches were ready when we got there. No waiting at all! I ordered a turkey sandwich and it was delicious. Also ordered the house chips which were yummy as well. Ordering online was very convenient. Definitely will go back.
(5)Leo T.
The Reuben Sandwich on wheat here is just delicious. Don't leave Belmont or SMC without eating here first.
(5)Jeff H.
(2)Christopher C.
(5)Kim N.

Went there for the first time. Had the best experience! Love the sandwich and the customer service is amazing. Can't wait to go back! :)

Confusing ordering system, Subpar food at high prices served in a filthy container. This place is horrible

(2)Mike L.
Excellent sandwiches and it's great tasting too. Could ask for a better place for it. My gf and I had quick service and a friendly staff.
(5)Ahna B.
Overall pretty good! Lots of options to choose from. I had a meatball sandwich wrapped in lettuce. My strawberry milkshake was delicious. I wasn't disappointed. I love making my sandwich the way I like it!
(4)Crystal L.
(5)M L.
Sandwiches ok. Service not. They used to have nice people who smile. The new manager not so much. Why doesn't the owner along with the corporate office understand that bad service equals bad service which equals bad reviews. Try another location where you can receive both.
(2)Sincere V.
i love the hula with my twist on it.whichwich is fanatastically tantalizing of ths the tastebuds.michelle is a wonderful host always so pleasent.a new guy named timmy made my wich.and it was 5 stars
(5)Michael A.

100% cool sandwiches Yummy It is the best way to eat sandwiches Thay Have good $8.00 deal Love it It is two thumbs up Yummy Food and cool Way to eat sandwiches The best Sandwiches I love the all flavor coke this is a cool place

(4)R G.
I was in the area and decided to try it on a whim. I am sure glad I did. You pick up a bag and check off all the toppings you want, then they build it and give you the sandwich in the bag. I had the Muffuletta and it was very good.
(4)Emi N.

(3)S K.
The place is clean and the sandwiches are always tasty. You pay one price, so load up on the condiments and goodies! There is a cool soda drink dispenser...
(5)Annie W.
Highly recommend better than subways&most delis I've had....
(5)Micah F.
The sandwiches are amazing but the service at this location is always slow. We recently waited 20 minutes for an in store order with barely anyone in the store. I keep coming back because I love the sandwiches, but unfortunately the service is poor.
(3)Alain K.
I have been sitting here for 30 Minutes and still no sandwich. This is beyond unacceptable.
(1)Catherine H.
As a first timer, not bad! Like the custom sandwiches. Got medium 10.5 chicken lite. Little soggy (but then I chose lots of condiments. Like the use of aluminum foil-- no napkins. Bit prucey but goid alternative to usual Togos and Subway.
(4)Booboobear V.
I just had meatball grinder it was amazing. . This was my first time and the experience was great staff is very friendly and store offers so many options definitely a place to come back and tell all friends. ..
(5)A L.
(3)Christina S.
(2)Steph M.
(2)Jassgirl B.
Stopped by for lunch today and it was sooo good! The customer service was great and they made our sandwiches super fast! I love the bag idea and you hair were what you want! Thumbs up!!
(4)Julia S.
Very bright and friendly store. Everything is clean and organized so you can find what you're looking for. Very large selection of sandwiches, salads and even a monthly special to pick from. The staff are always smiling and quick to offer help with picking your favorite wich! Love this place!!
(5)Caryn N.
(2)Frank J.
The Banh Mi makes up for any other complaints. But I don't have any other complaints. Service was friendly and fast, I didn't see any issues with cleanness. I'd say it's as close to the perfect sandwich shop that I've found.
(5)Donna S.
(3)Kelvin C.
(2)Sally L.
Pretty good sandwiches for a reasonable price. Their ordering system is easy and efficient, plus they have dozens and dozens of choices of toppings and sauces. Don't be fooled by the sizes, the small is plenty big, the medium is ridiculously big and I would guess the large feeds a family.
(3)Annaleise S.
(5)Olivia C.
I have only one thing to say about which which, I like that they have breakfast sandwiches. is only having like two options for bread supposed to be part of their image? they might have good milkshakes.
(3)Mike T.
(5)Christopher X.
(5)K G.
(3)Howard T.
(3)Emily K.
This is a pretty good place for a quick lunch. I ordered the five meats wicked sandwich. They made is a hot sandwich and the bread was so toasty and crunchy and delicious! I like that I can pick what I want on the sandwich because I tend to be a picky eater. I'll come here again for sure!
(4)Lauren V.
(3)Jason H.
(2)Jessica G.
(5)Matilyn C.
(3)Sukhi J.
(5)The Dirty Truth F.
(1)Gregg K.
(1)Chico B.
This place is awesome. I love the style of ordering. It's hard to fuck it up when you mark off what you want. You don't get a he said she said scenario.
(5)Alex C.
I love coming here for lunch. One of my favorite sandwich places. I usually get the lettucewich style, which is like a lettuce burrito. They have different specials every month on top of an already impressive selection.
(4)mike h.
(4)Liz H.
(1)Aquila W.
(5)Nina C.
(2)Brian S.
(5)Rillie F.
All the people have a great attitude. They enjoy answering questions. Adam the store manager handles concerns with great professionalism. The food is great and exactly how I wanted it.
(5)Derek A.
(3)G Y.
I didn't understand the name, but decided to check it out (actually, I wanted a sandwich but didn't have any other options on Easter). It has a large menu, lots of options, but they're sandwich is a sandwich. I had their signature sandwich and it was alright, but I'd go back to try others.
(3)D J.
Worst sandwich ever. Will not go back. Stale bread and little meat. 3 sandwiches 2 sodas and 2 bags $30.00 not worth it at all
(1)Katie S.
(2)Honey G.
This is my second time here and they forgot my bacon both time. They charged extra for bacon too. There's never crispy strings in the sandwich either. The only upside is the staffs are pretty friendly.
