I've passed by this place for probably hundreds of times and I've always wanted to try it out. This place always looks empty every time when I want to try it out so I always ended up going somewhere else. So recently I finally had a chance to try this place. I got a to go order from this place and the service from the only waiter there was really great. He was very nice and recommended what he thought was the best flavor for me. And in terms of the food. Seriously, I don't know why this place is empty, the chicken is really good and the pizza is also very good. I believe maybe because of the location people won't just come here and try their food, but trust me, this place is totally worth to try and I will definitely go back and try their other food.

Must Order the chickens!!! I love the garlic ones.. You can order 12 pcs and split the favors!! When I ate the chickens I felt I was in this Korea Drama My Love From The Star.... Where's my beer lol? Skip other korean dishes. Pizzas are great too. We ordered bulgoli pizza with gold crust +$4 Service was great. Love their dessert. Wanted to try then all but feared of gaining too much guilty weight...

Pleasantly surprised! I thought they had a good pricing combo that they offered that includes the pizza, fried chicken, cabbage salad, and provides you with soft drink(pitcher). Shared w/ 2 others with a total of 3 people. I wasn't full haha but I have hollow legs so you can't get that opinion from me... :p I feel like for what they gave us, it's pretty good pricing compare to other korean stores of these kind(love letters and such). We didn't care for the soft drink pitcher but it feels like you get a better pricing off the combo. Bulgogi pizza - surprisingly tasty. I thought the bulgolgi complement the pizza pretty well and it was seasoned well. I think we had to ask for the sweet potato crust...bc we didn't get it. I think it would taste even better with the sweet potato crust. Oh crust was not bad, crunchy and not too dry. Fried chicken(whole?) 12 pieces - halve cajun and half sweet garlic. Wasn't a fan of the cajun(didn't want to get it haha) but the cajun one was really dry and could barely even taste the cajun flavor. The skin was fried pretty well but I wouldn't recommend it. Sweet garlic was pretty tasty and it wasn't overly sweet. Anything with garlic is always nice. You can still taste the crispiness through the sauce so I would recommend this style of sauce(sweet garlic). Service was wonderful. This girl treated us nicely and checked up on us often. Those are the things that would bring ppl back. It's worth a drive if you're in the area but I wouldn't drive all the way out here(since I live in rowland heights). Oh i do like this place way more than love letter though.

Bulgogi Pizza- 3.5/5 Good pizza for a very decent price. Popcorn Chicken-4.5/5 I think the chicken is definitely better than the pizza here.

My husband and I came for an early dinner and we were one of 2 tables in the restaurant. Super fast and friendly service which I appreciate! The AC was down that day or something...it was like 80 degrees inside the restaurant. Hot and uncomfortable. We got the bulgogi pizza and chicken wings in soy garlic and sweet garlic. The chicken wings were very good with great crunch. The sweet garlic was better and more saucy. I wished that the soy garlic covered more of the chicken. It was super light in sauce so more like eating fried chicken instead. The bulgogi pizza tasted okay. Too much cheese and the crust was greasy. The bulgogi itself was good but relatively little amount on the overall pizza.

Pricey but I love the chicken wings!

I came for a later dinner (9pm) on a Friday night with family. The place was slightly less than half full. We ordered the bulgogi combo with half soy garlic and half sweet garlic sauce for the chicken. I thought the food was just average. The pizza was on the small side and I couldn't really taste the bulgogi. The chicken sauce was flavorful but the meat wasn't really. The place satisfied neither my pizza nor Korean fried chicken craving.

I have to give this place a 5 star bcuz I couldn't find anything to complain about .. Seriously, everything is so perfect here. I was yelping and looking for a place to dinner desperately ... And "korean style pizza" seems so attractive to me. Parking: no problem at all, I think it's near old town Arcadia; but on a weekday, we can easily find parking in front of the restaurant. Menu: easy to order and very detail descriptions. They have different combo for weekdays or u can just order pizza and wings separately. Service: we were kinda the only customer since it's pretty early for dinner. Or this place may be too hidden to find? The waiter was super friendly and he introduced a bunch of different types of pizza and most famous flavor of wings they serve. He's very attentive and kept asking us if everything's ok. I would just come bak for the service lol. Food: I always prefer thin layer pizzas and specialized pizza, this place really satisfied me! We just ordered the combo, it's too much food! But with that price and the food quality, also u don't have to think much if u have difficulty choosing which type! The combo includes lots of stuff, what impressed me is the 2 L drink, the gigantic chicken legs! The pizza is medium size, it's so cheesy and delish. I'm so going to come again for the sweet potato pizza which it's quite popular. The chicken legs that come with our combo, we can mix it with different flavors, the size and portion r way too big! Super worth first visit and will be bak!

I feel like this place is so underrated! Their pizza is good because they have that Korean twist to it and they also have these everyday combos with pizza, chicken, and a two liter soda and their portions are huge. So you'll definitely be satisfied. The staff is nice. My friend upgraded his pizza to a large and the waiter forgot to put it in so he brought a medium instead. My friend insisted on waiting for the large and while we were waiting. The waiter brought out two slices for my friend to eat while he waits for his pizza.

Found this place through yelp and I'm in love! I love Korean fried chicken and this place definitely does it right! I've tried the sweet garlic and soy wings. Personally, I love crispy wings so it hit the spot. I definitely liked the sweet garlic more than the soy wings, but my friend enjoyed the soy more. I also tried the pizzas. Not as amazing as the chicken but still good! The potato wedge pizza was awesome! I love me my potatoes. Also had the supreme pizza, I think that was the name, and it was just okay to me. Not enough meat in my opinion. I love the crust here, nice and thin. Lychee k-martini is boooomb! I asked once and they use sake for it. The pomegranate k-martini is good too but I like the lychee just a little more.

I really like this place! It's yummy Korean fusion food, and the flavors are spot on. They always give you this little corn cole slaw salad thing at the beginning that's pretty tasty. The wings here are WAYYYYY better than Belly Bombz. The sweet/sour/salty/spicy combination is so delicious. My favorite wing sauces are the sweet chili and sweet garlic, but seriously everything is really good. I love the bulgogi pizza! It's really cheesy and they don't skimp on the sauce, but the best part is definitely the bites of tender and flavorful bulgogi dispersed throughout. On Thursdays, the special is a bulgogi pizza with wings for $22! That's my favorite. Plus you get a pitcher of soda. The ONE complaint I have is that the service is INSANELY SLOW....like when I go for lunch, there's literally one girl serving. Sometimes it's pretty empty so she's fine bringing out all the food, but the food takes forever to cook!! Maybe the anticipation makes the food taste better? Nah...I'd rather have it faster. But it's good! And it's the closest option I've got for Korean fried chicken so I'm a little partial towards them :)

Ok check this place out. I'm a taco person. So saw this place and looked up the menu on line noticed the Korean tacos. So off I went. The place is clean and nice inside. I placed an order. Tried both the chicken and beef . Pretty damn good. I also ordered the chicken. After all it is a chicken joint. Really damn good. I brought some home and heard someone blurt out OMG delicious, from the other side of the house. I saw some pics of the pizza. Yeah I said pizza. Also pasta. So pizza is my next choice. If you call them 15 min. before they close they'll still cook you food. And they close pretty late. And they also have Korean specialties. It sounds like they're all over the map but all the food has a Korean taste. A very tasty taste.

Came here on a Saturday night due to a craving for Korean fried chicken. Both Peter & I weren't very hungry, so the half platter of fried chicken was perfect. We got the hot sweet garlic sauce--meh. Didn't really make a difference in our meal. The chicken isn't as good as the chicken in ktown, but still really tasty! We got a 2000 cc of Hite and enjoyed the kpop and UCLA vs USC game. Service was awesome! Got a refill of pickled radishes after we already finished our chicken. We would definitely come back!

I've had this place bookmarked for awhile and finally got around to it. The Korean/pizza fusion stuck out to me but both my best friend and I thought this place was just Aite. We were disappointed early on because we were served expired beers. I asked our waitress for new beers and after checking the fridge, she said all the blue moons were expired. It wouldn't have killed us to drink it **still a health violation** but that's awful that the restaurant isn't on top of their inventory. We ordered the supreme pizza and wings in sweet garlic and soy garlic. I liked that they let me order the pizza with no mushrooms on half.. I was hoping for a heavy bulgogi flavor but the pizza overall tasted like something I could get from sbarros. The wings were good but nothing I would ever crave for. I was hoping the beers wouldn't be included in the bill but it was.. And even changed to another beer that we ordered instead. The food wasn't great/memorable and the poor customer service will definitely keep me away.

TL;DR - 3 stars for food, 2 stars for environment. This place seemed confused in the environment it's going for. The lights were dim so it was hard to read the menus. The music was too loud, even for the bar feel that the dimmed lighting gave. The TVs displayed K-pop and sports (basketball?) and added to the noise. It wasn't so loud that we couldn't talk with each other, but the waiter had trouble hearing when he was taking our order. Then there was the food. It was decent - there was a great crunch to the fried chicken!! Unfortunately, my friends and I split half a fried chicken and mistakenly ordered it with a mild sweet garlic sauce on it. This mild is not the mild that other restaurants have: it's got a burn that moves slowly and accumulates. The burn was quite uncomfortable and made it difficult to eat the bulgogi pizza that we also shared. The shredded salad, which had a decent flavor and wasn't overdressed, helped with the burn. I'm in no rush to come again, although I really wouldn't be opposed to coming again if someone suggested it. I wish we'd tried one of the dry seasonings though - my friend's lemon pepper legs (drumsticks) looked great! The abundance of sauce on ours also made it quite messy to eat. One last positive: they were able to seat a group of 15 people easily.

Saw this place on yelp and it definitely sparked my interest as I saw the Korean fusion inspired dishes which is common in LA but they have PIZZA!!!! My friends checked out before me, and they liked it. Didn't know what to expect but it is a great place to eat, watch sport and they have great service. The Bulgogi pizza is delicious and filling. Great price. The Wings are great, I love the garlic soy. You have also get the sauce on the whole fried chicken. You should get the family pack which is a great deal and lots of food. They also have weekday combos which will spark your interest.

It's Love Letter Pizza & Chicken, but in Arcadia. Hot n Sweet Chicken is Korean meats Italy with pasta, pizza, tacos, and chicken wings being their prime staple. I'll start off and say that the service was great. Only 1 guy was working at the time, but he was friendly, attentive, and catering to everyone's needs in my party. He was informative, letting us know his thoughts on what to get, and wanted us to have a great experience there. I'm not sure if he saw me Yelping or what, but we also got a discount & a shot of soju on the house at the end (which we didn't take -- I mean, the sun was still out!) Each meal started with their Korean salad. It's not KBBQ style, but more like a fresh cabbage slaw, corn, and a spicy sauce. Nothing to rave about it, it was free, but a good start. We also got cheese corn, sweet potato pizza, supreme combo, original wings, spicy garlic mild wings, and bulgogi tacos. The cheese corn was different -- they added pineapples in it which I thought was a good idea. It adds more sweetness to the sweetness of the corn & cheese mixture. I am a LOVER of cheese corn, so this was a goodie in my book. The sweet potato pizza was unique. I've never had Love Letter, so I didn't know what to expect. It was unique in that actual sweet potato puree was squeezed inside the crust. It did make the pizza fall apart more easily, but it didn't make it a disgusting pizza. It was flavorful and Korean in flavor. The supreme combo was more like American style, but on a thin thin crust. If you want to diverge from Korean flavors, this would be the one to get. Pepperoni, sausage, peppers, olives, it's what a supreme should be. I liked the tomato sauce on this one, and the crust was enjoyable with it's crunch. The wings were large, 8 pieces I think per order? Maybe 6. I'd totally skip the original wings because there is nothing special about them unless you aren't a flavor person. If it was my choice, I would of gone Cajun. The crust wasn't too oily, the chicken was moist, but it either needs a dry rub or some dipping sauce to make it worth getting. The spicy garlic however was tasty. Good garlic flavor, and mild was doable. Hot & Extreme may be a doozy for the stomach, but if you are daring, I'd do it! Lastly, the bulgogi tacos were okay. They aren't kogi, but pack a nice flavor. The corn tortilla's that they used made a lasting impression on me for some reason. Rather then flour, corn works well with bulgogi. Ending the meal off with a woopie-pie, this was an exceptional meal & location that I'd recommend to those who enjoy this type of fusion.

This place is awesome and I've been here with my friend for many times since I am a great fried chicken lover and Korean food fan. Their chicken wings and legs never disappoint me every time. A cup of iced beer with bits and bits of chicken... Imagine what a happy hour it is:)

As my quest for the best wings in town, I didn't "stumble upon" Hot N Sweet Chicken, but I've been reading reviews of this place and finally decided to try it and I think it was well worth the visit. I went on a Thursday lunch time around 2. The place is not empty but there were a few people dining in. PLACE: 4.5 stars Black and red decor with booths and tables that is clean and new. They have TVs all around the place and when I went, it was the first day of the World Cup and it was on the TV. Good points for that. They also have a bar but I didn't see if they have alcohol there. FOOD: 4 stars I got the sweet garlic chicken plate in mild spicy. The waiter gave me a cabbage salad first and continued with the plate. It came on a rectangle plate and comes with rice, chicken, onion rings, and greens. Those wings are pretty darn good. Now I understand why people rave about their chicken! It came with a breading and it's smothered with that sweet garlic sauce... I really really like it. The only complaint I have is their rectangle plate. It kept sliding whether I try to pick up food. The waiter was really accommodating and knew what to say about the items and what to recommend. I didn't get his name but he was wearing one of those Obey shirts!

Last night, in my quest to try a new restaurant every Wednesday, I decided to give Hot n Sweet Chicken a try with my family. Upon entering, you are greeting by a very friendly owner with lots of tables to choose from. The menu is pretty straightforward, where they take American Classics (wings, pizza, tacos) and put a Korean spin on it. Below is my review on the food we ate: Popcorn Chicken - Soy Garlic Marinade: Large portion, good for two people (if you are not a pig). A little too much breading but the Soy Garlic Marinade was excellent. On the side I added the Green Onions with Korean Dressing for $2 and the combination was great. The Green Onions have a subtle kick to it while the Popcorn Chicken had no hot spice. K-Tacos (Marinated Beef) - Wow!!! Beyond awesome in my opinion. Just like they make it at the food trucks. The Marinated Beef was very favorable and the cabbage dressing with krema added just the right taste. Chicken Wings (Lemon Pepper) - While I did not eat this as this was for my daughter, I was impressed with the size of wings. Much bigger than Wing Stop (double?) and 6 was just enough for her. K-Philly Cheese-Steak - Good quality, well seasoned in flavor. Comes with a side of french fries. Did not have an overpowering taste of Korean but it had some. I would also like to add about the parking situation. This restaurant is located on busy Huntington Drive with curb parking. There is also a small parking lot in the back which holds about 8 cars. I'm sure if it's busy on the weekend, parking is harder to find. Not sure if you are allowed to park at the bank after they are closed with out getting towed. So if you don't like parallel parking, finding something could be challenging. Soft Drinks: I noticed if you order soda with your meal, they do not have fountain drinks and are using 2 liter bottles. I do like that they have family meals and a pitcher of soft drink comes with the meal. If you like a very carbonated soft drink, you may not get it as the liter bottles are opened at a regular basis. Value: Our bill for a family of four came out to $53. Not bad and we got lots of food. No one went home hungry. Dessert: I would have given this a 5 star but there is no desserts on the menu. Surely there is a hybrid American/Korean dessert they could make. Sometimes you crave some sweets so we went to Rita's across town

New favorite spot after my visit last night. My gf and I were looking for a korean wing place last night without driving to K-Town. We found this place on yelp and gave it a shot. We came around 9pm on a Sat night and it was pretty empty, probably cause of Chinese New Years. Ordered the 12 pcs wings with Lemon pepper, sweet chili, soy garlic, and sweet garlic. They were all so bomb!! The lemon pepper was zesty and all wings were crispy. What gives this place 5 stars would be the service. My gf was looking to get soju cocktails wherever we ended up eating, but this place didn't have it on the menu. Luckily, Kevin, our server, went the extra mile and custom made us lychee and pineapple soju cocktails for both of us. The drinks were very good and was the cherry on top to the great meal. Good food, better service. Will be back soon!

I love this place! I've only been a handful of times, but every time I go, I leave full, happy, and sometimes a little buzzed(They make yummy mixed soju drinks!). Interior is sleek, with k-pop always running. And we always end up coming at their off-hours so service is always immediate. Their popcorn chicken: has an extremely satisfying crunch. Seriously think about getting Sweet Chili and Sweet Garlic. Also, their pizza is awesome! Bulgogi and gold crust is to die for. The K-tacos are fresh and savory. And Dduk Bokki with ramen is spicy and quite filling. And shout out to Kevin, who is the best waiter and go-to guy for recommendations!

I see tons of 4 start reviews for this place. I must have really miss something then. because two stars is all I can come up with. first thing I took issue with is the menu is comprised of every type of food you can think of. They featured Chinese dishes Japanese dishes Italian Mexican American. Pretty much anything you can think of. which I do not have an issue with restaurants that cover different types of cuisine. but I would think they would at least do one thing well. I came in with a friend. And we are both grazers and enjoy eating a bunch of different items and sharing them. in this case we got two different types of fried chicken. two desserts. and a noodle dish. my fried chicken was boneless. and served over rice. it was not bad at all. but it was reminiscent quality wise as something in the fast food court at the mall. his fried chicken on the other hand was a whole chicken. the once the meat and batter have been removed it looked more like a fried pigeon. the desserts or standard frozen desserts they bought from another company and served. no big deal. but no real impressive quality to speak of either. all in all I just think the restaurant tried to do too many things and should focussing on doing a few things well

This is an interesting Korean take on an American classic :chicken and pizza. Bulgogi on a pizza is a great idea. They offer family friendly combos that include salad, chicken and pizza for one low price, they throw in a 2 liter soda as well. We took our order to go, but the dining room is clean, modern, and comfortable. There are TVs for watching sports, and they have beer.

Headed over on a Wednesday at around 6PM. Parked on the street in front of the place. Place was quiet, not too busy, but busy enough that you don't feel awkward as the only people in there. They had a good amount of TVs up and were showing a game. Had met friends here and they ordered for us, got a combo that came with a pizza and 9 pieces of chicken. We had a supreme pizza and the crust is good. I think it was a pan pizza... Don't think it was hand tossed at least. I'm not a big fan of supreme, but I would like to go back and try a Pizza with toppings I like, probably just pepperoni. The chicken was delicious. I believe it's better than Tokyo Fried Chicken's in Monterey Park. They have different flavors too, not sure if that was the cake with TFC. We got Lemon Pepper, Soy Garlic and Sweet Garlic... I think. I enjoyed both garlics, but I thought the soy garlic was the best of the three. The lemon pepper isn't as flavorful as I thought it would be. The batter for the chicken is really good, but the lemon and pepper taste is a bit lacking. Worth a visit.

Their Chicken Wings were Amazing!!! I ordered the sweet garlic extra spicy wings and sweet chill extra spicy pop corn chicken. The wings were so spicy, I loved it!! I didn't care for the sweet chili popcorn chicken though, but just a matter of tastes, I guess.

Great atmosphere and food. K cuisine with an American touch to it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a lot of bang life your buck. Wine and beer bar also available. :)

Excellent Asian alternative to BJ. Live the individual combos and availability of salad as well as pickled radish to go with chicken. Lessons sinfulness of eating fried chicken. Mozzarella sticks were really crunchy too

Went here multiple times, it's not like "omg I wanna eat this forever" type of food but something about the taste/food makes me go back LOL! I think it has to do with the Korean fusion to their food. It's different in a good way. I enjoy their chicken more than their pizza but it really balances each other out I definitely would recommend this place to try out if you're looking for something new

Since the original place I wanted to go to for lunch last week was closed and I was already in the area, I figured I might as well try out other places. This place popped up on Yelp and was quite new and the photos looked good, so I decided to give it a try. I wanted pizza but knew I couldn't finish everything so I got their fried chicken with the Korean sweet and spicy sauce. I mean, you couldn't go wrong with chicken in a place that has chicken in its name, right? Oh gawd. I ate a few pieces and it was pretty good- crispy on the outside with an overpowering tangy sauce. The mozzarella sticks were alright and I got more salad (too much dressing on top of it) and oversalted pickled radish pieces. When I flipped one of the pieces of chicken over, I found it was not cooked on one side-- like when two pieces stick together. I figured it was just those two, but when I flipped them over, it was a whole congregation of them with runny batter or something that was wet inside. It was like frying a whole head of broccoli and the outside being cooked and battered nicely and while the inside still had batter. I called the waitress over and asked if this was the norm and she freaked out and said it wasn't supposed to be like this, but was professional about it and brought it back in so they could make a new one. By this time, it was almost the end of my lunch hour, so the waitress offered it to-go. She packed an extra salad in and apologized again. Considering that when I arrived, there was only one table to serve and when I left, two tables, I don't understand why they didn't fully cook my meal since it was so slow. I did notice that when they had to recook my meal, one of the guys that came out from the kitchen to watch sports on TV had to trudge back in... I got the feeling that there was no passion in the food. The second time around, the chicken was cooked completely and they gave me new portions of everything. I felt so bad for the waitress since she felt so badly and was so nice, but I have to be honest here. I'm not coming back here again.

I think this place is fairly decent. I live in Arcadia and I always have to drive out to LA to eat some Korean style chicken. This place reminds me of love letter, with their weekly combos that come with pizza, chicken, salad, and a 2-liter soda. So what's nice about this place is that I can get multiple flavors of the chicken with the combo. My friend and I wanted 2 different things so we got half fried chicken and half spicy marinated chicken. Both were really good. The sweet potato pizza was decent- there was way too much sauce so it was way too heavy for both of us. It's nice to know that there is a place near me that has korean style chicken! Won't have to always drive out to ktown to get it! Also- service was really good... could be because we were one of the two groups who were at the restaurant at the time (we went around 5:30 on a weekday).

My husband is a last minute kind of guy. For Super Bowl, he decided to go hang out with his friends at their place. We had to bring the chicken wings. We called our local favorite chicken place, but they wouldn't accept any more orders cuz they were booked for chicken wings cuz of the Super Bowl. My husband decided to look for a chicken wing place in an Asian shop. BOOM. Hot N Sweet chicken! They had chicken wings! My husband ordered some and they were really good. I prefer the dry garlic pepper chicken versus their bbq chicken - I just prefer dry wings. SERVICE: Pretty good and fast. They weren't busy because of the game. The owner was really nice and accommodating to our request. LOCATION: Easy. PARKING: Street OVERALL: Got our wings and satisfied. The place looks great. We'll be back for food :D

Brandon who is part owner of this place was a good waiter for our first visit. He explained the menu thoroughly. He suggested a combo which had a pizza and a whole chicken though we opted for the Tuesday special which was the wedge pizza and chicken wings. Those two combos were quite good. We came here based on the recommendation of my pastor who raved about it. I'd have to say he was on pair and we enjoyed ourselves. The place is clean and has several TV's for sports events and can seat 92 peeps as I was looking at the sign up on the wall. I'd recommend this place as well.

Yummy! Came here for lunch with two friends :) We ordered one bulgogi pizza and a plate of six drumsticks with regular sweet garlic sauce Pros: -Bulgogi pizza is delicious! (would be better if there were more bulgogi bits tho) -Drumsticks are so tender and the sauce was so good (a bit messy to eat lol) -Service was really good! The waitress often came by to check up on us :) We probably looked awful with sauce smeared on our face lol..or maybe that was just me... -The salad that comes with the meal is pretty good too. Cons: -tiny parking lot

Used to live in Arcadia for over 15 years. aware of how terrible the food selection is there (gotta travel outside go eat anything good). Was visiting a friend and saw this place on yelp to try and give it a go. Huge huge fan of bar food and wings (asian and american). Came in really hungry and ordered the 12 wings expecting something good. Very mediocre. Sampler plate very very mediocre. Came in at 10pm Friday night and place was dead (there was a guy cleaning the floor...) It's a bar atmosphere but they only had like 4 drinks? Cors light from a bottle for like 7 bucks (LOL?). Not sure if a joke or what... Can only say - what can you expect from Arcadia restaurants? Not sure why the reviews were so good , terribly disappointed.

Wife wanted Korean fusion chicken wings but we were too lazy to drive to ktown. Gave this place a try. It wasn't too bad actually. I liked the flavors, not as spicy as I thought but no biggie. Chicken was cooked well and not too bad a deal given the lack of similar cuisine in the area. Is it better than the places in ktown? Prob not in my opinion but I didn't leave too dissatisfied. The pizza was decent, cooked well but lacked flavor for meI don't know what others are raving about. Chicken def tasted better than the pizza. I'd recommend others to try and i will come back again. One complaint i can think of is I just hope they turn on the AC. I mean it was a cool night and the ceiling fans did a good job but its be nice to eat indoors in a cool environment.

It's so weird that every single time I've been here...the restaurant has been fairly empty. Maybe it's because this place can be pretty easy to miss as you're driving down Huntington? Anyways, the wings are super crispy and well seasoned! I wasn't a fan of the sweeter sauces, typically because I go for more savory options, but my friends also enjoyed those. The pizzas are really interesting...I'd recommend the bulgogi one! I love fusion foods and this place was pretty satisfying. I didn't really care for the soda thrown into the combos...but I think that's one of the better deals if you want chicken and pizza. This place is definitely worth a try if you're into Korean fusion foods, otherwise I feel like it might be kind of confusing for your palate...also parking can get kind of annoying depending on the time of day. Still, I've been back multiple times and will be back in the future as well. Bring a group of friends to get a variety!!

more like 2.5 stars. =/ it was around 10:30 and most places around were closed. I wanted to grab a quick bite and this place apparently had good ratings on yelp. I don't know if everyone gets a plate of salad, but the Salad was just alright. It's weird eating a salad with chopsticks. Lol ok, don't get me wrong. the food here is pretty good and delicious, i got the lemon pepper chicken and the bulgogi pizza. both were gut busting delicious. i got 6 pieces of chicken and a medium order of the pizza. the chicken had crispy skin on it. as with the pizza, you got a choice between yam crust or cheese crust. please opt for the cheese crust. why? cuz name 1 person who hates stuff crust, and i'll call them out as a liar. what irked me the most was the fact that they never came around to check up on us. And on top of that, they messed up our fool order. They brought out the wrong pizza and told us sorry and made us wait for another 15 mins for the right pizza to come out. They should have comped us the wings or pizza but they didn't. I will not be back.

We went during lunch. The half fried chicken was very juicy. We ordered the garlic flavor. It was tasty. We had high expectation for the bulgogi pizza, but we were a bit disappointed. The beef was dry and the sauce was tomato paste based. We thought it would be more Korean style, e.g. Korean bbq sauce, or even the soy paste sauce. The service was great and attentive!

My wife and I have been here about 3 times, and each time the service and food was equally 5-star worthy. Our servers checked on us frequently to make sure our experience was nothing short of great, and the food has always been consistently delicious. This place is nothing but amazing and will be back again and again. Our waiter, Kevin, was seriously so friendly and great. Wish all servers were more like him!

We came originally for the yummy looking chicken in the picture but ended up getting the bulgogi pizza and some mozzarella sticks. There was also some spicy Sriracha sauce, also really good. Very delicious! Requested no corn (since corn is normally overpowering) and the flavors and texture was really really good. Heck you'll even eat the crust! Personally, I don't really prefer to eat pizza (most locations, the flavor isn't worth the calories) but man, this place made me re-evaluate my pizza lifestyle! Even gave some leftover to a relative today, who buys pizza from many different places (ranging from Baldwin Park pizza co, Howling Howies, Dominos', etc.) and asked where is this delicious place located because its the best one they've tasted. The Korean pear spritzer was also really refreshing. Interested in trying out the pomegranate and strawberry basil next time. The staff were very friendly. Really enjoyed this place.

Decent considering that this is the closest Korean Fried Chicken place in the SGV. Pretty extensive menu, BUT stick to the chicken n pizza. Ignore the other items because they're not worth it. Must try: Sweet garlic wings- crispy and juicy and nicely sauced. Bulgogi pizza- you have to get the golden crust with this. I would've liked more spice on thee bulgogi, but the delicious sweet potato filled crust made up for it. Skip: K-tacos (chicken)- needed much more sauce and spice. Complimentary salad- Good cus its free but needs more dressing. Soy Garlic flavoring- not enough flavor-. Maybe they need to pour more onto the chicken. 12 wings, 3 tacos, One 10in pizza = $44 without tip. Plenty of seating and flat screens everywhere. Serves beer and soju.

Please don't let this place close down! Hot N Sweet chicken is in the quieter part of Arcadia's "restaurant row." Think of it as a cross between a BJs and a Korean BBQ joint. If you like Korean fusion and sports bars, you'll love this place! I've had real authentic Korean chicken wings at places like OB bear and this is the closest thing you'll come to that in the SGV. I had the wings in original (plain), sweet chili and hot garlic chili, and all were deelish! I also tried the house salad (coleslaw with thousand island dressing and sriracha) and the BBQ chicken pizza, both not bad. I must admit the crust of the pizza was lacking, but the wings are the stars of the joint.

Sam our server greeted us and suggested the daily special, Supreme pizza with chicken legs. More than enough for 2 people. Pizza was a solid 8 and chx was a solid 7, the cabbage salad was supreme. Gotta check out

If you're feeling fat, but not really fat, then hot n sweet chicken is the place to be. It's all the cravings of fatty nasty bar food that you want, but it's much more refined, and slightly less slutty. What: We ordered the bugulgi pizza, and the chicken wings and legs. The pizza was great. I loved the thin crust. The meat was satisfying. The flavors were poppin'. The sweet garlic (hot) sauce was fantastic! They used some sort of taiwanese BBQ sauce/shallot sauce in it. When: 7:00pm saturday. The place wasn't packed, as it should be. Maybe 15 covers. There are also large tv's that play games and sports, so go eat good grub for a good game. Who: bring a girl, a guy, a whole party, it's great for all occasions. GO. It's good food. Not a busy business yet. Great service too.

One server on a busy Saturday night is really not acceptable. It makes for a stressed out server, food arriving slowly, orders possibly getting messed up and generally a dining experience that isn't optimal. This all resulted in having one of our orders come out wrong, which they fixed. But then one of the chicken pieces in that re-order had a hair on it. In the meantime, another server came in and when the hair was pointed out to him, he immediately offered a 10% discount off our bill and free dessert. The dessert never showed up and instead we got a seltzer drink? Hmmm.... This was my third visit here. Previous service was so-so. The servers weren't always attentive as they should be, even when there was enough of them. As for tonight, while I appreciated the discount, some of the issues could have been avoided plus if you are going to say you are going to do something, please follow through. Even with all this, I'd go back. I really like their Bulgogi Pizza and how it isn't over-sauced and has a good balance of ingredients. The addition of corn as an ingredient is a hit with me. I also really love their fried chicken which is wonderfully crunchy and you can't go wrong with either the Soy Garlic or Sweet Garlic Sauce. By the way, you can choose two different sauces for the fried chicken that comes with any of their family combos. If their service can be improved, this 3 star can easily change to a 4 star.

Saw this place on yelp and it peaked my interest as I saw the Korean fusion inspired dishes. Didn't know what to expect but was totally taken by surprise by how great our service was. Sam was our server and he was absolutely amazing. After inquiring if we had dined in there before, he went through the entire menu with us which was so helpful as it was our first time there. After having pretty bad service around the area lately, I had come to love the place before the food had even arrived. Hoping the food matched up to the service since I knew I wanted to come back, and it did not disappoint! We ordered some wings that were comparable to Kyochon in KTown -- the renown super crispy breading. You know how Buffalo Wild Wings is pretty good? Well, that place has nothing on Hot n Sweet Chicken. We had the soy garlic and sweet garlic and got a level 3 out of 4 in spiciness, both of which were very tasty. Soy garlic was savory and sweet garlic was more on the sweeter side. (I know, super descriptive right?) We also ordered the Potato Wedge pizza, it had a sweetness from the bulgogi that almost tasted like a barbecue chicken pizza and was again, very crispy, which is how I like my pizza. Will definitely return to try some other dishes on my list. Had too much food of their food tonight and will probably need some Tums, but well worth it.

Chicken batter and flavor was not good, at all. Their pizza however is better than their chicken. The service was a little awkward. Server/owner was practically rehearsing a script when he was talking to my table, the table in front and back of us. Just seems monotonous and unappealing. Weird, just weird. Probably will not be back...

Three and a half stars Came here on a Thursday at lunch for the bulgogi pizza and chicken wings combo. Like in a previous comment like a combo pizza but with some bulgogi. The pizza should have had more bulgogi tho. I felt like I was eating a vegetarian pizza. For the chicken wings we got sweet garlic and soy garlic flavor. The soy garlic needed more flavor. It just tasted like fried chicken to me. The sweet garlic was really good tho! Had a lot of good flavor. The side of daikon was good! The service was really great mainly because there was only one other couple at the restaurant when we were there. The deal here is really good. Cause you also get soda with it. The soda however got flat really quick. But this place was just okay.

I was suuuuper excited to try this place! The decor of the restaurant is modern, and looks very clean. I love the way it looks. But I did experience terrible customer service and a couple inconsistencies. Customer Service: Definitely not the best. The restaurant was half empty on a Sunday night and it was hard to grab the waiters attention, nor did he come back to check if we needed anything. What the heck? Food: I loved the bulgogi pizza, along with the chicken! I liked how crispy the chicken was, although the the flavoring was lacking. We also ordered mozzarella sticks which were average. The complimentary salad was pretty good too n~n The only bad thing we had was the lemonade which tasted like water. No exaggeration. Lol The one thing I thought was weird was when half our group ordered ranch, which cost $0.50. When the other half ordered ranch 10 min. later, we were given a smaller serving but still charged the same price. Aw. We also ordered water at various times and they came in smaller cups and then larger cups. Maybe they didn't have enough cups washed? O.o ****no refills on the 2 liter pitcher that comes with the family pack meal**** 2 stars for food, and 0 for customer service. Sorry but I'll have to try love letter next time u_u

After watching a movie, my boyfriend and I decided we were pretty hungry and happened to be in the Arcadia area. I had my eye on this place for a while and decided to try it. We did not eat at the actual restaurant so I don't have much to say as far as service goes. But I called in and ordered the Bulgogi combo for pick up. We walk into the restaurant at 10:30pm and there were still a couple people seated, although it was a little empty. The inside of the restaurant was modern and hip with loud pop music playing and I do recall seeing TV screens. The staff seemed pretty welcoming so nothing wrong there. We quickly picked up our order and left the restaurant with no complications. The combo we got came with a bulgogi pizza, fried chicken, salad, white radish, and a 2 liter soda. The total for all this was about $30. I think though next time if my boyfriend and I come here we will just get the fried chicken, as it took us two days to finish everything! Bulgogi pizza: The pizza is probably good for 3 people, I think there was a total of 6 slices. The toppings were really good and so was the crust. The amount of bulgogi on the pizza was satisfying and paired well with the bell peppers. Fried chicken: This is what they are probably most known for. I would come here just to get the chicken. You get the option of choosing which sauce to get, we went with the most popular Sweet Garlic sauce. We got half the order with the sauce and the other half without. Both options were delicious although I favored the chicken with the sauce a bit more. Without a doubt, it was really yummy and you cannot come here without getting the chicken! Salad: Just a simple cabbage salad with corn and dressing. Not too special but I guess you have to have some vegetables to even out the healthiness of the meal :P I am a sucker for Korean fusion food and had my share of similar restaurants. This one did not disappoint as far as food goes.

I've gone to this place a handful of times and the they all have been great visits. They have decent service and tasty food. We come here because we have family nearby and we love chicken wings and pizza, especially in that combo in a Korean flavor. Some Korean chicken places, don't have pizza; some Korean chicken places don't have rice; and some Korean chicken places don't have refillable soda. This place has ALL of that! I always get the Soy Garlic wings, which is a staple i get from Korean places because its feels like it is the standard in all Korean spots and they have perfected the flavor. I also get fries, rice, and when I am with big groups, we get the Bulgogi Pizza, which is also good. This place is great to have with large groups of people and never seems to be busy. In that case, this place is more of a hole in the wall in a small town area. Thank you for the meal!

It was my first time here and I love it! When I came here on a Friday night, it was not at all packed. The lighting in here is very dark along with many red booths and TVs lined against the wall. The waitress was extremely nice and answered a lot of our questions. We ended up getting the Bulgogi Pizza and the the Sweet Garlic Popcorn Chicken. The Bulgogi Pizza was good, it was like a Supreme Pizza but with bulgogi on it. Plus, I love that the pizza is extra cheesy. I absolutely am in LOVE with the Sweet Garlic Popcorn chicken. It's super flavorful and I love how crunchy it is on the outside and how juicy and tender it is inside. Overall: I LOVE this place mainly for the chicken wings and can't wait to come back for more!

Met a friend here for lunch on a Tuesday. She's more familiar with the area and insisted we meet at 11:45am because lunch spots can get very busy. However, when I arrived, I was the only person there. Parking: There's free street parking. I parked a half block away. Ambiance: Dark inside with big red booths. Lots of tvs, with the sound turned off. Loud pop music was playing when I stepped in, but they turned it down. Although the sign says they open at 11am, at 11:45, it was empty and they looked like they were still setting up. Host/Server was friendly and sat me right away (he was the only guy working up front). He brought me a drink and asked me if I had any questions about the menu. Drinks: I saw they had beer/wine & some cocktails, but I stuck with Soda. Food: We tried: Bulgogi Pizza-Good. Crust done well. Marinated Beef, Onions, Bell Peppers, Corn & Mushrooms Chicken wings (12 Piece) and we ordered 4 of the flavors: Sweet Garlic Regular Soy Garlic Sweet Chili Cajun-this was my favorite I thought there was too much batter & sauce on most of the wings. Messy meal (they should give their patrons wet wipes). The Cajun doesn't have sauce and I thought tasted the best. House Salad: Cabbage w/Corn & too much dressing. Maybe a better spot in the evening versus lunch; I could see this place being more fun in the evening with drinks. Menu items had too much sauce/breading, so if watching your calories, I wouldn't recommend. By the time we left, there were customers at 2 other tables, so it never got too busy for the one server.

Interesting menu. Super friendly server. Took the time to explain the menu as well as offer options. The sweet potato pizza was really good but you definitely have to be in the mood for that sort of fusion. The Thai wings were quite tasty. Definitely worth a try.

I think this is a pretty cool spot and there isn't too much competition around is there? We've had Korean fried chicken and pizza before and enjoyed it so when we found out there's one here we had to try it out. We came on a Saturday night around 9:30 and the place was kind of empty, however, once we sat down people kept coming in so I guess this is a popular late night spot? With just two of us we only had 6 pieces of wings (soy garlic), a medium bulgogi pizza, and a dumpling soup. We ended up taking half of the pizza and some of the dumpling soup home. I would love to go back to try other items on the menu. The chicken wings were fried just right. The batter is typical Korean fried chicken wings batter. the soy garlic was a little too sweet for me so I'll have to try a different sauce next time. The pizza was not bad. It was thin but a little on the softer side and we added the sweet potato in the crust which gave it an interesting sweet flavor. It's not the best pizza I've ever had but it's different and goes well with fried chicken. The dumplings in the soup were a little too soft but the soup was hot and flavorful and hit the spot. Overall I think it's a cool place to get some Korean junk food with friends and it stays open late so if you need a late night food spot this is a good option.

I've always wanted to try this place, and I finally got the chance as my cousin from out of town was staying at the nearby Marriott. Fried Chicken ($10.88 - Half) So a half order is about 6 or 7 pieces of chicken (legs, thigh, breast). They measure on weight, not separate pieces. The flavor we got was the Spicy Garlic, which was what the waitress said was the most popular. I loved the flavor; tangy, spicy, sweet. I'm fosho getting this again next time. Supreme Pizza ($13.88) First off, the pizzas are pretty decently sized, so they are definitely meant to share with multiple people. We saw great reviews of the Bulgogi Pizza, but the waitress recommended the Supreme, which has all the stuff of the Bulgogi just with way more "stuff". The pizza was good, but if/when I come back, I'm going to just stick with the Fried Chicken and maybe try to wings. Parking is on Huntington in the front. If all the street parking is full, I'm not sure where else to park, but drive around and find some. Get the fried chicken!

True Rating: 2.5 Service: Horrible! For a half empty restaurant, I expected to get more service than the norm! It was so bad that at one point I had to walk up the waiter to ask for what I needed. Another reason why my dining experience here wasn't very pleasant was because there was a giant bug that kept flying around my friends and I which was super annoying and the waiter didn't even do anything to help get rid of it. Food: Chicken Wing Plate: This was the saving grace of this place! The chicken wings were super crispy and dressed with the house garlic sauce which I love, love, LOVED! Final Verdict: Ehh... I'll think about coming back. Leaning towards a no though.

I really enjoyed this place! Was in the area and my gf suggested we stop by. We came here on a Monday night and we're greeted and sat immediately. The server was really nice and the environment was friendly and peaceful. We ordered the patato wedge pizza along with the 12 pc of sweet garlic wings. The wings were good. The sauce on them was delicious and not to overwhelming. The pizza was my favorite! Super delicious that even if I had a bad time ( which I definitely didn't ) the pizza alone would have been enough to save the experience...It was that good in my opinion. All in all I would definitely see myself coming back and trying different thing if not to get my hands on that pizza again.

I went on a Saturday 11:15am and the place was empty. The interior has red walls and black booths. It looks very dark when sitting inside. There are TV's on the wall and a bar area to order beer. Our waitress was very nice. We tried 12 chicken wings and sweet potato fries. The wings were split in half to try for 2 sauces-sweet chili and sweet garlic. The food arrive quickly and didn't have to wait very long. I took one bite that is not covered in sauce and it had a crunchy bite. I really enjoyed the wings and fries. Next time, I will have to order whole chicken. The waitress was very good on refill on soda and water. They checked on us several times. Parking on the street or bank parking lot.

This is a pretty good local alternative to Mr. Pizza in K-Town. Their pizza's alright and their chicken wings are pretty good. I came here cause I'm currently in a hot wings phase. I like to order their medium 6 pieces Sweet Garlic chicken drums ! My goodness, these drums are huge (expect a regular sized chicken drum) and they seem to be deep fried TWICE. Be aware that the drums can be quite spicy... so be cautious when you're picking out a spice level. There's also a family special menu // daily special menu available. The special comes with a medium size pizza (if its the daily special, there's a pre-chosen pizza), 12 wings (not the ginormous kind... but the ones you'd expect at hooters), and a soda pitcher. The deal seemed great, but it wasn't filling for three adults.... nor do I see it satisfying a family... unless its one adult with two small children. If you do get their pizza, I highly recommend their yam crust bulgogi pizza! The service could use some help. Almost all the times I've been here, the service is super slow and not very attentive. Regardless, their food is good.

What the fuck happened? I REALLY hope this was a one-time screw up, but the food was not good at all tonight. I dont know if they sold the business or got a new chef but wtf dude, baaaaad. Party of four and we all had the same opinion: Ramen: watered down, noodles were kind of mushy, and lacked flavor. Soy sauce flavored chicken wangs: best part of order but still wasnt up to par of past experiences. Penne alfredo pasta: little watery, too many onions, but it tasted meh. Rreally overpriced for less than mediocre tasting small serving pasta. Dumpling soup: holy shit, my girlfriend said the dumplings were pretty good, but the soup sucked. True, the soup was watered down to hell, but the dumpling was the worst fucking dumpling ive ever had in my life. It was supposed to be shrimp, but it looked like paste, and tasted like ass. I found out after that she lied to me so that I would taste the horror that she consumed. Coffee: ive been wanting to try it, cause dat shit said house special coffee and its a weird thing to have on this menu, so I was thinking it might be good. Wrong, just creamer and sugar. Actually, the best part of the meal might have been the complimentary salad. Service: the lone girl waiting tables was good, attentive, and axed if our food tasted ok. We didnt wanna be mean, but I think we should have to help improve their quality. I dont know what happened since the last time I came here, but the food was so bad I wont be back for a while, and I still have a bad taste in my mouth and my stomach hurts lol. *sigh* first my favorite dumpling spot closes, now this joint gave me a bad experience. I'm sad.

I found this place by accident when friends came to visit from San Diego. We ordered food to share, starting with the corn cheese. (YUM!) Then we dug into the potato wedge pizza and soy garlic chicken wings, with a little beer on the side. (they also make good milk tea) The whole time they played Korean pop music and the servers were friendly and helpful if we had questions. The chef even came out to say hello to us. I hope more people give this place a try. It's in an obscure location in Arcadia and I had driven by it quite a few times without realizing that it was there. It's different and fun.

Went on a Wednesday and the brother and I ordered the combo special of the day which was a supreme pizza with the gold crust and 9 wings, which we got spicy garlic and lemon pepper. The gold crust!!!!! Sweet potato stuffed pizza. So good! The lemon pepper I would not get again but the spicy garlic was good.

Kinda like love letter&chicken in hacienda but fancier. Price is about the same. It's decent. Came on a wed night, it was pretty slow so we got great service. Our server knew it was our first time and gave us our sauces on the side, kind of him.

The pizza and chicken is delicious here! We ordered their Supreme Combo, which includes a Medium Pizza and a Whole Chicken. For the pizza, we selected the Supreme, which has bulgogi, sausage, ham, pepperoni, onions, pineapples, bell peppers, mushrooms, corn and black olive. The Korean nod is the inclusion of the slightly sweet marinated beef and I guess the canned corn. It's no fancy pizza but the fluffy ish crust and tasty toppings were good. The other main component is the chicken, which is a fried chicken with your choice of glaze. The garlic soy was delicious, a light coating and adding just the right hint of savory and sweet to the crisp fried chicken. I loved that there were no bones, but somehow it seemed a lot less than a whole chicken's worth of meat. The rest of the meal is a house salad, which was really small and made up of pretty average greens. They totally skimped on the pickled radish which are very puckery and great with the heavy pizza and chicken items. These are fairly inexpensive so for a combo meal, I wish they'd give a lot more. They also throw in your choice of 2L soda to round it out.

For a party of four, we ordered a medium bulgogi pizza ($13) and 12 pieces of chicken leg/wings ($12). We picked the sweet garlic flavor with hot spicy level. It was a really nice spicy flavor and the wings are huge and crunchy. A complimentary plate of salad and daikon was offered after we ordered as well. It was nice to help clean the palette because the chicken is overwelming with flavor. I enjoyed both orders though and it filled all four of us. We also ordered the dubokki but I think they forgot, so we cancelled it. The wings are worth it here and you can split your flavors. We skipped out on the combo deals because we didn't want a whole chicken and none of us drank soda. The place is good but nothing I'd go crazy over.

Had been looking forward to trying this place after a friend's multiple posts of it on FB. One Saturday evening we decided to pick up some of their food on the way home. Tried an order of wings--half buffalo, half garlic soy--plus their bulgogi plate. Short story short...the wings were waaaaaaay over-battered and they added bell peppers to the bulgogi. The meat for the bulgogi was great quality and we would've enjoyed it had it not been for the peppers, which made it taste like a Philly cheesesteak! Too bad, would've liked to try that bulgogi pizza but I doubt there'll be a next time.

Came here on a Wednesday, saw the Thursday special and decided to come back the next day. The restaurant was pretty empty on a Thursday for lunch with only 3 tables including ours during the time we were there. The Thursday special came with a bulgogi pizza, 12 wings, salad and a huge pitcher of soda. The food here is 3* to me. We added the gold crust to the pizza and that was the best part of the pizza. The wings were huge! Chicken wings on steroids but the flavor wasn't. We got Soy garlic which was the best, lemon pepper and original. All the wings could have used some more flavoring instead of skimping as if it was expensive to put on. The original was completely plain; skip this.

Great Korean-style chicken wings! The wings were big and meaty, and quite inexpensive. The soy garlic glaze was very tasty without being too heavy or greasy. Bulgogi pizza was just okay - could barely taste the bulgogi and wasn't much better than a Papa John's pizza. Perhaps I'm just too much of a pizza snob after spending the last few years in New York and New Haven - it's a very serviceable pizza, and the Thursday combo is a great deal. As others have said, during non-peak hours there is only one waitress in the entire restaurant to take orders, serve food, and ring up checks. It was very quiet when I went so the service was fine. Not sure how long this place will stay in business because it doesn't seem like they get much traffic, but hey I guess they save on labor costs with the whole one waitress thing.

Second time here and it's still empty. Glad there's no wait but where's the people? corn cheese - it is a little smaller in portion than other places but if you're a fan of having pineapples in your food, which I am, get it! Love that there's bits of ham and pineapples mixed in there. Chicken - yes, they are super crispy! Yumm! The soy garlic is my favorite. The sweet garlic is not bad. The lemon pepper however just tasted like plain fried chicken. You can see the pepper and lemon seasoning (?) but ya can't taste it! The sweet chili is... extremely sweet. Pizza - the supreme has a bunch of toppings but it's nothing to get excited over. Service was great and they weren't slow so thank you hot and sweet staff! The food was decent but never something you'll crave for. Not sure it's worth the four stars I keep seeing posted here.

The food was good and we enjoyed the unique fusion style. We appreciated the helpfulness of the staff as we navigated the menu for the first time. They patient and helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't find the dining room to be very clean. We changed booths because there were crumbs all over the seat then our new table was sticky with sauce. The staff tried to clean it but it just removed the stickiness and not the layer of harden sauce that had developed a slightly visible and textured pattern on the table tops. And did I also over hear a patron behind me saying he saw a spider crawl across his table? Yikes! Perhaps the staff should be supplied with stronger cleaning solutions to combat their delicious sauces. The food is good enough for return visits but I'd probably do take out from now on.

After my second visit here, I've decided to upgrade my rating of Hot n Sweet Chicken to 5 stars (mostly because the dishes I chose this time were significantly tastier than the one I chose during my 1st visit). I arrived for dinner with 2 other people, and we shared a family combo consisting of a supreme pizza, whole fried chicken, house salad, sweet white radish, and 2 liter pitcher of soda (we went with Dr. Pepper). The pizza was shockingly delicious, much more than one might expect from a non-Italian restaurant. Toppings included bulgogi, sausage, ham, pepperoni, onions, pineapple, bell peppers, mushrooms, corn, and black olives. The crust was baked to *just* the right level of crispiness, and the large variety of ingredients ensured that the pizza did not lack for flavor. Definitely one of the better pizzas I've had in a while. The whole fried chicken also impressed us greatly. When it was clear that we were having trouble deciding on a flavor, the nice waitress we had was helpful enough to advise us that we could choose two flavors, and apply them both to the chicken servings 50/50 (see attached photos). We ended up going with lemon pepper and sweet garlic (regular/nonspicy). I liked both flavors, with the edge going towards the sweet garlic due to its sauciness. The sweet white radish complemented the chicken quite well, and the staff was helpful enough to bring us a second plate of the radish when I ran out. The chicken was fried very proficiently, and is among the best I've ever had. The cost of that family combo was just shy of $30, and represented one helluva bargain in this diner's not-so-humble opinion. We saved a few bucks over what the constituent combo items would cost if purchased individually, and the 3 of us fed ourselves to fullness - while still having food left over to take home! You really can't beat that. As with my first visit here, the service was friendly and efficient. It's always nice to eat at a restaurant like this one, where the staff seems to sincerely care whether or not you are enjoying yourself. I'm definitely coming back here again, and bringing my friends and family with me. Good food, good service, affordable prices. 5 stars all the way. P.S. The Jasmine milk tea here is pretty good too. :)

Four stars for the food, but minus one for service. The food was pretty good and came out quickly. We got the bulgogi combo which included a medium bulgogi pizza, whole chicken, and 2 liter soda, which came with a house salad. For the chicken, we split it with the sweet garlic (mild) and soy sauce flavors. I preferred the garlic because it had much more flavor to it, but it was just a mess to eat, so beware of that! The inside of the chicken was juicy and there was a lot of breading on the outside, which satisfied my cravings for fried chicken that I had been wanting while abroad in China for five months. The bulgogi pizza was alright. It wasn't terrible, but the flavor wasn't that memorable. I would go back specifically for the chicken itself. We were seated pretty quickly and given our menus. However, it took a bit of time to catch the attention of a waitress when we were ready to order because no one came back to our table after a while. When we were done, we tried to ask for our check, but it proved to be a bit difficult as they didn't look at us or pay attention when they were at the bar. We had to call for our waiter as he passed by to flag him down. Hopefully it was just a busier day so the service was a bit slow!

I had never visited a Korean pizzeria until I stepped foot inside this restaurant. I have to say I was a bit confused when I walked inside and saw the "theme" of the restaurant. I expected to find decor of a typical Asian restaurant but what I found was decor more akin to that of an American pizzeria. Not that it was bad--not at all--but it was not what I expected to find. The food: I chose the spicy ramen soup because my girlfriend kept raving about it from when she tried it long ago. I was in a soup mood so I ordered it. Wow! What a kick! SPICY!!! But not overpowering spicy. It had heat and deep flavor. It was very well seasoned and piping hot. I loved it so much I even ate the remainder of my girlfriend's bowl! Let's just say I'll be back soon for another helping :-))

Gave this place a try and was not impressed. I was expecting this place to be like Love letter which is a joint similar w wings and pizza too, but this place lacked the flavors. Ambiance 4/5 Bulgogi Pizza 3/5 Sweet garlic wings 2/5 Sampler appetizer 2/5 Overall I left disappointed..and lets just say...I prefer Love Letter and places like buffalo wild wings and alondras for wings.

Just got served by Brandon and Kevin; let's start with I was a bit skeptical at first, be it a primarily Asian environment, but was pleasantly surprised with a warm welcome and two friendly faces. Me and my girlfriend were thoroughly entertained and excited by the enthusiasm and social ambiance Brandon created with his love of his job. I recommend this place. Sit in Brandon's section. Shit man, Im just worried you won't have as much fun as I'm having.

This place was terrible! The fastest items they brought to me was the check! Our order came out really fast and just sat there waiting for the waitress to deliver it to our table. It took about 15mins for the food to make it to our table! By that's time our food came it was cold and the wing sauce dried out. DO NOT GO EAT HERE!

Excellent decor, average food. The interior of the restaurant was very "chic", for lack of a better way of describing it. Definitely a place I wouldn't mind spending a meal or two at. The service was pretty good; we got our food within 30 minutes of entering at the restaurant. However, there weren't very many people in the restaurant itself-- maybe only 5-10 when we entered at 8 PM. With that in mind, I suppose the service actually bordered on the slow side. As for the food, everything was good-- but nothing was really extraordinary. The wings were average, the popcorn chicken was average, and so on. The food certainly wasn't bad, per say, but it's nothing to write home about it. The one thing I ate here that I felt truly distinguished itself was the Korean potato pizza (I forget the exact name), which was actually really good. Overall, I definitely plan on coming back here. While it's not the best chicken place I've ever been to, it still seems like a fun place to spend an evening. And I'm definitely buying that pizza again.

Great weekday meal deals. Good service. Potato pizza was tasty. Soy garlic chicken wings not bad. If you like crispy wings then try em out. I think kyochan's are tastier but in Acadia this is the best you can find. Go try some k pizza!

Saw this place pop up and had to try it. Wasn't disappointed! Some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. Definitely coming back and trying the other stuff on the menu.

Neither my wife nor I really knew what to expect from this little gem. I assumed everyone ordered hot and sweet chicken; but, the menu is much larger and wider than I imagined. My wife ordered Popcorn Chicken with a Sweet Garlic sauce (medium hot). She prefers brown rice which was substituted without charge. The chicken was excellent! I ordered the Jambalaya. Now, I would not usually recommend Jambalaya from a Korean restaurant; but, I felt adventurous. The Jambalaya was suburb. It was at least as good as any of the Cajun restaurants' nearby. It was quite spicy and packed with shrimp, chicken and sausage. I particularly liked the vegetables, bell peppers, onions and scallions. They were fresh and crisp unlike those normally found in this dish. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely come back!

Their tacos are bomb!!! And so is their dak bok gi! We Enjoyed our meal. We had the pizza, fried chicken, tacos, and Korean rice cake. Everything was yummilicious! I enjoyed the staff interactions and their interior set up is very modern and chic. Will come again!

My husband and I love this place for their chicken wings & K-tacos! They also have great non-alcoholic spritzers with flavors like pear & strawberry basil. Perfect to wash down the spicy chicken wings. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

Worse place ever! this place actually deserves not even half of a star! The bulgogi on the pizza was not cooked, the wings were also under cooked, the iced tea tasted like they used coconut milk, the dumpling soup was so spicy, and when we asked if there was sugar in the iced tea he said a little bit instead of answering a yes or no. Also the waiters don't know any of the things on the menu which was very confusing and they enjoyed their time watching basketball on the TV instead of serving us. Parking sucks, don't waste your money here!

Its nice being able to get KFC without having to drive all the way out to LA. The bulgogi pizza was delicious and the popcorn chicken was a big hit for us too. The only downside is that we end up ordering more food than we really needed.

Weekday combo was great. House salad, pitcher of soda, pizza and chicken. Pizza was really good, crispy crust and topped with yummy ingredients. Waiter was super nice and attentive. The chicken was really good too. The batter was nice and crispy, not doughy. I really liked the lemon pepper and sweet ginger. Would definitely come back.

I have been to a few Korean BBQ pizza places, and this here is below mediocre. If you have to go for Korean BBQ Pizza, go to Mr. Pizza in Koreatown! The decor is nice and all, but if it can't be backed up by the food, then what is it good for? I am not sure if it's more of a korean-esque bar or restaurant with the amount of LCD screen TV's there are. So enough about that and lets go to my order... Starters, the menu is somewhat confusing. I am not sure if it is better to order single items or a combo.. nice menu and all but just scattered everywhere. They give a appetizer cabbage salad in the beginning which is pretty tasty but a little too much on the dressing side. I ordered wings that was flavored in a soy/ginger base...the flavor was good, except the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. It did not really bother me too much, but when you have a pregnant girlfriend, its pretty bad. They reheated those wings, and then it became too well done. The bulgogi pizza...well what can i say, i felt i just ate a cheese pizza because there is really no bulgogi topping on it. Thin crust, and when i took a bite out of the slice, I felt it could of been cooked more to have that slight crunchiness to the bread. That was probably the biggest reason why I would go to Mr. Pizza in KoreaTown. Maybe they are new and still working out the kinks, but first impressions are lasting impressions. All I can say is... Good Luck.

Soy garlic! They are a new restaurant so they have a few kinks to work out. But the prices are reasonable and there aren't many places in the sgv where you can get Korean fried chicken. So go!

I got some takeout tonight: KTacos and assorted flavors of wings. They were all awesome. The service was great (it was take out, but they were super friendly and explained some menu items). They also threw in some pickled raddish with my order which are great on their own. It made me a little sad that there was no one else there. I'll be back for the happy hour for sure. Btw, I rarely review anything on yelp, this was just that good for me.

Really like the pizza and service here. Been here a few times now and the staff is always super friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the bulgogi pizza and original flavored chicken! Nice to know that I won't need to drive all the way out to ktown to enjoy some delicious Korean fried chicken.

Good new Korean and fusion restaurant in what was formerly Bar Twist. Good job on the chicken katsu curry, popcorn chicken with sweet garlic sauce, and Korean tacos. Really liked the Bulgogi pizza - definitely recommend upgrading to the "gold" crust with the sweet potato filling! Yum! Nice space and ambience in the restaurant.

Came here last night and walked into an beautiful but empty dining room that looked like it should have been a trendy sushi joint instead of this "K-fusion" concept it advertises itself as. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated. The servers must not be used to getting customers because every time someone walked by the restaurant's doors, the server appeared ready to rush over and greet. Such a shame it is, because this restaurant has some potential. However, if last night is any indication of a normal dinner service, this establishment is in for some problems. We were immediately given a salad upon being seated which was made up of shredded cabbage and sweet corn kernels tossed in what I believe might have been thousand island dressing or something similiar to it. It looked pretty but was rather bland until I added some pepper to it. We settle for "Thursday's" Weekday combo, which was a medium bulgogi pizza, house salad, 12 chicken wings and a 2-liter soda for around $22. To be honest, I don't recall seeing a soda fountain, so I'm not sure if they serve soda that isn't canned or bottled. Moving on to the food, the bulgogi pizza was being described as having marinated beef, mushroom, corn, onion and bell pepper. When the pizza was brought out, we were informed that they they had run out of mushroom, so as a consolation, they upgraded our pizza to a large, for FRRREEEEEEEE! Pizza was very well excuted. It was hot when it came out, the dough wasnt too crispy and definetly wasn't too chewy. Cheese nice and melted. But the problem I had with that pizza was that there was nothing fusion about it. I guess the bulgogi was supposed to be the fusion part, but I felt like the little old lady in those old Jack N' the box commercials some of you might remember from the 80's: "Where's the beef?" I saw some specks of what looked more like some rogue ground beef or italian sausage, but not nearly enough bulgogi on it to call it a bulgogi pizza. It's like ordering a cheeseburger without cheese! Still a burger, but not a CHEESEburger. Our favorite of the night was the wings. They are big, fat, juicy, tender, meaty, crispy wings on steroids. Bigger than WingStop's wings, almost bigger than the ones you get at Albertson's. We had the hot and sweet garlic wings which were too spicy for the kids. I wasn't wowed by them but my wife did enjoy them. They weren't very spicy, but they did make me hiccup, so it was enough heat to let you know it was there. Since these were too spicy for the kids, we ordered them some lemon pepper wings. I thought they were bland, but my son thought they were too peppery. It could have been the whole 30 seconds my mouth was on fire, but I was wishing they would have had the same flavor as those good ol' WingStop lemon pepper wings because I honestly couldn't taste anything eathing these. To sum things up, I wish this place a lot of success. I'd probably come back to try other things on the menu, but I wish the menu had more KOREAN items. Some rice or noodle dishes, some meat sticks, some soju, something more than the K-pop blaring from the speakers to let me know that this place is supposed to be Korean-American fusion. Perhaps, when they get their liquor license people will patronize this eatery more? I did see some beer taps in the back, but not sure if they served beer already. One thing to mention is that there are 6 flat screens in the dining room, and to me, they just don't seem to go with the rest of the vibe.

This is third time I've been here and I have to say, not too bad. The first and third time had the fried chicken. Pretty good. The closest place I can get this kind of chicken is in La Mirada. Since that is wayyyyy to far to drive, this will definitely do!! The second time I had the chicken tacos. Delicious! The chef also brought out a few free wings that particular time. Free food equal good times..lol. I'd go back more often but like I told the girl who served me, if its that's delicious, moderation has to be key! I'll use this place as my "cheat day meal"...lol. Overall, good place. By the way, they have beer which equals place to watch some football! Go Cowboys and Go Hot and Sweet Chicken..lol.

Gone here a couple times now. The big items for us are the pizza and the wings, both done well. When we first came they were nice enough to let us sample the golden pizza crust (sweet potato). It was great, highly recommended! The pizza is very filling. Wings are crispy and delicious, with lots of flavor options. We tried a few other things on the menu such as the korean tacos and nothing let us down. On top of that, the folks running the place are SUPER friendly. I could see Hot n Sweet becoming one of my regular destinations.

The wings here are great! The staff is very friendly. The restaurant has a nice decor. I was brought a tasty korean style salad with spicy mayo that was very nice. The owner Justin explained the menu and recommended the wing sauce sampler so I could find my favorite flavor. The soy garlic and sweet garlic were great! The wings were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They will be getting beer soon and they have plenty of tvs to watch some ball or UFC. I will be back!

I love the atmosphere and how accommodating and super friendly the staff is. Service is excellent. The bulgogi pizza is different but not amazing, it's good enough. The chicken wings/ chicken is great. They also have great weekday daily deals. I had the Thursday combo deal of bulgogi pizza and eight- piece chicken wings. I will definitely come back and try more option on the menu. They also, have TV screens and a small bar area at the back.

My BF and I checked out this new place last night, as we both enjoy this type of food. It was a little less "fusion-y" than expected, and the waiter was a bit slow on the uptake. However, once we were seated we were promptly provided a nice cabbage salad w/thousand island and a dab of chili sauce (came w/o ordering- apparently everyone gets this). We ordered the original chicken wings (6) as an appetizer; my BF had dumplings and I had the curry. The chicken wings were big, fat, and a bit greasy (expected so no concern there) - but the flavor (original) was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the curry, which came beautifully presented and had a very welcoming, nice flavor. For a drink (as there is no alcohol license at this writing) I had a Korean Pear Spritzer - while the flavor was fantastic, the straw literally was "lost" in the tall glass (I'd suggest longer straws). My BF thought the dumpling soup was good, but felt the broth was less interesting than he'd expected. The ambience - as it was a Monday night, the restaurant was a bit slow. Beautifully decorated, the only "out of place" items were the several flat-screen TV's on both walls. Is it a sports bar? Or an upscale restaurant? I'm not sure the owner knows the answer. But it wasn't very noisy (thank goodness) so we did enjoy it. We'll definitely come again, but the addition of beer and wine (at the least) will tremendously improve the experience, I'm sure. In the meantime - the wait staff was inexperienced; this can improve with time and I'm sure I'll see an improvement the next time I'm there.

This is a REAL review from a REAL chef who has worked here and who is honest. First off I was hired by an actual chef who had plenty of knowledge(Patrick). The food is good here. The chicken is cut from scratch and is tasty. I'm not a big Korean food person but it does have a few good things. Korean food isn't actually lighting the culinary world on fire so needless to say...it makes for a decent restaurant. This place will fail due to its lack of Culinary skills and managerial experience. Although they have two good cooks In the kitchen (Javier and Vince) the lack of leadership to be a true culinary driven restaurant is not there anymore since the "chef" has driven out the 2 best chefs there. I personally wouldn't order the soup because its all frozen or from a package which cost about $1 in a store. The prices here are outrageous an don't need to be when the only foods make from scratch are the chicken and SOME of the pizza toppings along with the broth which is now brought from an outside source. Here's the bottom line as far as the service. If you're going to spend those prices for the service there...you are over paying!!! The staff has zero experience and lack good service skills to match the prices. Justin is a very good greeter and is good at making you feel welcomed...but he is no CHEF. I wish this place the best of luck but luck doesn't keep your business going. Great food and great service does. This place lacks that.

We were with a party of 6 and showed up an hour before closing. Not too many people in their rather big restaurant. I've been here before and that's why I came back. The wings and pizza are very good. My 5 stars are based on service, cleanliness, pizza, and wings. They do have a full menu of Korean fusion food. We were immediately greeted and given a table and complimentary salad. Drink orders taken immediately. We ordered 3 different flavors of chicken wings. When they came to the table one of our party actually picked one up and asked "is this one wing or two?". They're big, meaty and the batter is super light and crispy. Flavorful and cooked to perfection. Two bowls of complimentary marinated radish were excellent. We also had a bbq chicken pizza and a bulgogi pizza. They were very good. This order satisfied 5 semi intoxicated people and one designated driver. The price was right. Again a few at the table couldn't believe how low the final tab was. Waiter came by plenty of times to check on us, and the chef came from the back a couple of times to ask how we were enjoying the food. We were told they are very close to getting their liquor license. I had beer next door at First Cabin and wings here, but if I could have them together? That would be good.

went there tonight. the wednesday night special combo was a supreme pizza and 9 wings or drums. we selected the sweet garlic drums, boy, were they huge! the outside sauce was pretty good, a bit too salty, but the inside meat was bland! we also ordered the bulgogi pizza. there wasn't much bulgogi there. the pizza was very salty, with the salt coming from the bread, the meat, and the cheese. i would not attempt to eat that for health reasons. what were good were the 3 tacos. the fried zucchinis were not bad. the free slaw was ok. you need it to refresh your palate because the other food was so salty. they gave us a big pitcher of coke and 3 packaged sweets. the music was too loud that we couldn't hear our own conversation. i had to ask them to turn the music lower. hope they improve on the drumsticks and the pizza. then i will go back to try it again.

i'm being nice. we came here around 9pm on a thursday night. ordered 12 wings, onion rings, and a beer. the food was okay- basically as described, but the service was so slow. it took 30 mins for the food to arrive. the waiter forgot our napkins, water, refills multiple times. i mean yea, the kid is like 18 at most but still. there were only 4 parties! so i dont know, i probably wouldn't go back at this point.

Definitely a welcome addition to arcadia's restaurants. The chicken was really flavorful, with a very healthy variety of options. One of the best k-style fried chicken places I have ever eaten. Beyond that their bulgogi style pizza was an amazing mix of korean and american fushion! Definitely recommend anyone that likes a mix of Asian and american to eat here! !

I probably drive by Hot n Sweet 4-5 times a week without noticing it. A buddy told me about the wings and pizza, so me and wife decided to give it a try tonight. Bulgogi pizza was pretty good, but I did not really taste the bulgogi much. Soy garlic wings were REALLY good. Also ordered the sweet garlic wings. we preferred the SOY GARLIC over sweet garlic. Decor is good, ambience was good. plenty of seats and flat screens for guests. waitresses were very nice and attentive. we were asked at least 4 times how things were. We will be back to try their other items on the menu

viet discovered this on yelp and we decided to try it out since we were going to be in arcadia for the afternoon. there is street parking in the front and a small parking lot in the back. what we ordered: bulgogi pizza with sweet potato crust, chicken legs - half in sweet sauce and the other half soy garlic. (i think those were the names..), a bulgogi taco, and a side of fries. dont' judge. its hard not to try the whole menu when its your first time at an establishment! the chicken legs were huge, like seriously 6 large chicken legs. they were nicely battered. the soy garlic had a nice crunch, but the sweet sauce had better flavor. bulgogi taco was tasty, nicely marinated meat, but a little more meat would've been nice. fries were typical, fresh and hot. pizza was the winner at this meal. the sweet potato crust really won me over, i LOVED it. i could eat just the crust. pizza itself was okay, it was a little thin, to the point where it just kind of flopped due to the moisture from the rest of the ingredients. meal comes with a cabbage salad and choco pies for dessert. lack of wait staff is definitely a contributing factor to the 3 star rating. they only had one guy working during lunch hour on a saturday - what?? poor guy, i felt bad for him. many tables were left uncleared long after patrons had already left. our server tried his best and even apologized at the end of our meal for the slow service. nevertheless, if i'm ever craving sweet potato stuffed pizza, i know where to go.

Went there last night with my wife. Was excited to experience a new local restaurant at first but was disappointed with the customer service. The chicken section of the menu was ambiguous in regards to the flavoring and spiciness. We ordered sweet garlic flavor, but when we had it, it was too spicy for us. When brought to the waiters attention, he checked with the kitchen. He came back and said there was nothing they could do about it. I was expecting them to replace the 4 pieces of chicken left on the table, but they didn't. Waiter was friendly, but management does not know anything about customer satisfaction. Instead of gaining regular customers, they made $10 on a plate of chicken. Highly disappointed

(Almost 5 stars) I'm a fan of this place! It's relatively new (have been open for only about 4 months). The decor of this place is welcoming and contemporary. I loved the red warm paint on the walls and use of bricks throughout. The furniture is pretty classy and comfy. There is a lot of space and I can see this place being a great drinking/gathering place. I don't remember if they have one, but it would be a great happy hour spot. Okay, so on to the food. My party ordered the ramen and daily special. We went on a Thursday so we got a medium size bulgogi pizza, 2L soda, and 12 pcs chicken wings. The ramen was pretty much a fancy version of the packaged Korean ramen you can buy at the market. It was cooked well and had tons of vegetables, fish cake slices, and a hard boiled egg. The pizza was quite a surprise. I wish it had a little more bulgogi on it, but I was definitely pleased with the amount of vegetables (corn, green and red peppers, onions) and mushrooms! The pizza wasn't greasy in any way and the crust was pretty thin and crunchy. For the wings, we got to choose 2 flavors. We decided on lemon and pepper and mild spicy sweet garlic. The wings were fried well and I didn't feel like I was eating a bunch of oil. The lemon and pepper was pretty good, sometimes a little salty. I liked the sweet garlic, but, boy, was our mild spicy SPICY!! The spicy scale here is Asian spicy! (I wonder how spicy their extreme is!!) Meals come with a starter salad with a thousand island like dressing with some corn and spicy sauce to the side. The staff was super friendly and generally on the attentive side. There is a lot of potential for this place. I can't wait to try out some other items on the menu here.

It's okay... I had this stew like chicken with rice. It was good but didn't look too appetizing. My friend had a curry chicken with rice. I tried it, and it was not bad. All in all, I think I need to give it another try to change my view. The service was good tho!

The whole chicken was a pretty big portion. The taste was awesome. Dinner came with a cabbage salad. Bulgogi pizza was only okay since you can't really taste the meat being overpowered by the cheese. Lunch special with wings and pizza was a great deal, had to take leftovers home

Definitely try their fried chicken. Very juicy!

Saw the place one day driving home and decided that I wanted to try it sometime soon. It was a great location, right on a main street. I had to park on the next street over behind the bank because the restaurant only has street parking. Wasn't too bad though. The place was nice looking and the service was very nice. We ordered sweet garlic wings, lemon pepper wings and a bulgogi pizza. All of it was pretty great. I would definitely come back to eat this sometime soon. The only problem with the place is that the service was not frequent enough. There were only 3 customers (including us) at the time and 2 people working the floor. I ordered a side of rice which never arrived and the waitress visited the table every once in a while. That wouldn't discourage me from coming back though as they were very nice.

This place is growing on me...tried the K-pizza and the cajun wings this time and they were delicious! Much better than the 1st time I came here.

Best chicken wings I have ever had. Ever. Maybe a little too much sauce on them but whatever, better to have too much than too little! Everything is super tasty and the service is friendly and prompt. Can't wait to come back and try more.

Some of the best k style wings you can find, my new favorite place. Better than Ktown. Soy garlic wings - lightly sauced, amazingly crispy and delicious 5/5 Sweet chili wings - thicker and super flavorful chili sauce, great kick. 5/5 Bulgogi pizza - very fresh, crispy crust, deliciously browned cheese on top. Very interesting spin on the flavors. 4/5 Happy hour special beer is perfect to go with the wings.

This was exactly as advertised.; American/Korean fusion food. The food was great, and the service was adequate. The only thing negative thing is the parking situation, which is either get lucky with street parking or park in their small lot out back, that is really hard to find at night.

Pros: the supreme pizza was good. waitresses were nice. Cons: Parking sucks. Have to park on the bank parking or the 3 or 4 parking spaces in front of the restaurant. food took long to come. ordered 15 minutes ahead of time. they said it would only take 10 minutes. wait 30 minutes for it. btw, it was a slow night for them, only 3 tables were being used. the bugolgi tacos were cold. the meat were not even warm. it took all but two minutes to get it from the box to my mouth and it was just ehh... The cost for two items ran me $30.00.

So hubby and I decided to give this new restaurant a try. We both love Korean fusion and this sounded like are really good place. The good: The food was very tasty. And the slushes are fantastic. The wait staff were really nice and didn't make you wait to take your order. Food came out quickly and was really fresh. The sorta bad: It's a little on the pricy side for what you get. My dinner wasn't bad, popcorn chicken with your choice of sauce, side of rice, cabbage salad and an additional side for around $8.00 is not too bad, but portions could have been a little bigger. And the really bad: Hubby had the bulgogi chessstake. WTH was that? He said the flavor was really good, but OMG the size of the sandwich was as if it came off a children's menu. Now, I'm not saying that the cheesestake needed to be enormous, but it was like one of those smaller hoagie rolls with just a little bit of filling, almost like a small ban mi, but ban mi's are usually only 2.50 or so. This was 12.00. Not worth the price at all. Would I go back? I might give it another chance, at least for the chicken, the slushes and other drinks and I want to try their shaved ice, but I would not ever order the sandwich again.

Came here on a Tuesday night around 830-9 pm, the place was pretty empty so of course no wait. Ordered the "family combo" even though it was just 2 in our party, it just seemed more worth it--and we were starving. You get bulgogi pizza, full sized order of chicken wings (whole chicken) - we did half garlic and half cajun, a house salad, radish, and a pitcher/2 liter soda. The pizza was good, but not memorable. Tho, maybe it's because the chicken was just so much better. The chicken was super crispy and delicious. the combination was perfect. There are better pizza places, but I guess none in SGV with the unique toppings of this place. The amount of food was good for us two even tho it's intended for a "family." The salad and radish dishes were pretty small but the waitress did ask if we wanted more salad). We finished the whole pizza (6 slices), and most of the wings (I think it was about 8-10 wings?). I don't see how this could feed a family.. at least compared to American restaurants. But it should be a good amount of food for 2 adults and 2 kids to remain at "healthy" proportions-- nobody would be full, but at a good place. For us 2 eating the family combo, we were stuffed.

This place is DELICIOUS!!! I had the korean pizza and the wings with both the spicy and the sweet soy sauce and everything was amazing. i love the fact that the chicken pieces i get are PERFECTLY cooked AND they are HUGE!!!!! The sauces are perfectly sweet and spicy (depending on what you get). The decor is slick and beautiful and i can't wait til they get their beer/wine license sometime this month. This place is going to be my hangout spot in Arcadia.

Not too shabby. I've never tried Love Letter, but my friend said it was pretty close to it. We ordered 2 pizzas: Bugolgi with stuffed cheese crust, and sweet potato with stuffed sweet potato crust. They were both great, but the sweet potato was really filling. I liked it a lot as it was unique and not greasy! They were generous with the toppings and it was perfect! We also ordered cream cheese corn which didn't come out in a skillet (came with foil on top of the skillet), so the edges weren't crispy. There was also a strong mayo taste which wasn't the greatest. Ordered popcorn chicken with sweet garlic (mild), but it came out super spicy like Kung pao chicken! The chef mentioned that he gave us more too which was great, but none of us could really eat it. So we ordered regular chicken wings which were okay. The beer tower was also worth it too. You can get 7 good glasses from a $13 tower so it's pretty good! Service is alright though, seemed like they got nervous when a big group of us came in as they gave us ice, but no water. Gave us creamed corn, but forgot the spoon(s). Salad in the beginning was good, until a fly invited itself on it, so we told the waitresses, but they never replaced it. Jipped us a lil on shorting the beer. But after all that, the food was, good and I'll be back!

This place needs to have more customers since the food is excellent. I had the chicken wings, curry plate and sweet potato fries. Wonderful service and pretty environment. I cannot wait to try sweet potato crusted pizza next time.

We were running errands this past weekend, nearby and were looking for a place to grab a bite. Came across this on yelp. I'm not quite sure if there was parking in the back but we parked on the street. When we walked in we were the only customers, there was no one else in the restaurant. There were 3 TVs up with Sports Center and hip hop music blasting. We were greeted and seated by a young guy, there were 2 other female servers. The waitress gave us some time to make up our minds, but did not check on us until we got her attention to let her know that we were ready. We ordered the Potato Pizza and Soy Garlic popcorn chicken. The pizza was pretty good, I liked the crust, cooked well, it was crunchy but not too hard. The toppings were interesting, only a couple pieces of bulgolgi. The chicken was nicely battered, not too overwhelming, but there was hardly any flavour. It almost felt like there should be a dipping sauce of sorts to go with the popcorn chicken. While we were eating, the employees all took their lunches as well, which was a bit strange. Even weirder was that the waitresses and the guy who greeted us sat together in a group separate from the head chef. As a dessert they give out individually wrapped Choco Pies, we were surprised by that. Would we come back? Maybe. It's unnerving how often it seems the restaurant is not filled to capacity or even half. It's not in the best of locations but it does have a different concept from others in the area.

I decided to give this place a try as we were looking for a restaurant that served wings. We ordered the potato pizza and sweet chili wings as well as Cajun wings. The pizza was alright. The crust was crunchy and dough cooked very well. The potato skins on the pizza tasted very weird so I just picked them off. And it was ok beyond that. The sweet chili wings were covered with some type of jelly like substance that tasted like a chemical. They were not good at all. The Cajun wings were cooked great, but had no Cajun flavor at all. They tasted like a normal fried chicken wing. Now onto the worse part of our experience. The customer service has a lot left to be desired. It took forever to be seated and once we were seated. We requested a booth and the hostess stated it was not for customers. Next we waited forever just to receive drinks an they were never refilled. We never received utensils or plates and had to literally get up and get them ourselves. This went on throughout the restaurant. It seems all tables were having the same troubles. The one bright spot was our food was served on a timely manner. I will probably not revisit this place, even though it may be improved with some work.

Great atmosphere, extremely friendly and conversational server (Our waiter Brandon tried his best to dissuade us from watchinf Amazing Spiderman 2, but we did so anyway) and great food! Cajun chicken salad was great with their lime dressing and the sweet garlic wings are amazing. Definitely going back next time when im not feeling like a fat-ass to try the bulgogi pizza. Holla.

Curious about this new chicken wings place in my neighborhood. I am glad I was not disappointed. The decor is very nice and modern. The staff was friendly. The place has 4 large HDTV so it's a good place to catch sporting game. For tonight, I was just curious so I tried the sweet and garlic (hot) chicken wings. The good thing is that it was crispy, spicy and fat chicken wings. There's definitely a lot more meat than Hooters or Wingstop. The other things on the menu looks delicious like their Korean Bulgogi Pizza and sandwiches. I will try it next time.

I don't know if this place will be around very long. I haven't seen it busy, the food is on the pricy side and they don't have any Korean sides, you know the seaweed, bean spouts, cucumbers, kim chee. The pizza is okay, the dough is not fresh tasting. The chicken wings are probably the best thing here. They are really nice in person but calling here can be a nightmare. When I called the lady didn't speak English and asked me to call back later. She didn't have a clue. For sure they need have some lunch specials or something. They are applying for a liquor license but really? they still need to have people come in. I don't know if that will increase their business unless they want to have an happy hour. But there is a bar next door that is pretty popular.

Hot n Sweet Chicken blew my mind and definitely surpassed any expectations that I had after walking into the place. Five stars for decor and ambiance! After driving around all day, my friend and I yelped restaurants nearby and decided to visit Hot n Sweet Chicken. K-Tacos are what you want to snack on if you've ever tasted fusion tacos from the infamous trucks that roam around LA. The ingredients were fresh and melted in my mouth. The chicken definitely won me over. I'm very picky when it comes to chicken, particularly Korean style chicken - and they nailed it on the dot. Service - outstanding! Definitely worth coming back to - even if I live more than 30miles away. You guys rock!! I'll be back!

Well, the wings were a disappointment and I rather eat at wing stop for them the ramen soup was not good at all the cheese with corn was not good either.... The service was good the only thing that was good about this place. I want to go back for the pizza

The moment you enter the restaurant you just feel very cozy and the staff greet you immediately. The decor was inviting and the seats are extremely comfortable, I didn't want to get up. The drinks are delicious, first timers got to get the Honeydew or Mango smoothie. Also the chicken wings and tacos are absolutely delicious. 5 out of 5, Amazing food + service! Definitely worth every penny.

At first I did not understand the menu. It was a bit confusing but then the waitress explained it was Korean Fusion. Still did not quite get it but wanted to appear cool and mod so settled in to place the order. We had the wings with buffalo sauce. The skin was very crispy, the inside juicy and the sauce was flavorful. Very good. We also ordered the bbq chicken pizza. The pizza had a crispy edge and the ingredients worked well together. I would order that again! We also had the curry chicken. The chicken was overcooked in oil and high heat before being added to the curry. I've always had it with white chicken but this was dark chicken. I like the sweetness of Thai curry and this has no sweetness. It was not something any of us liked that much. The service was exceptional! Very nice! They explained that they recently opened and are looking for feedback. Everything I said here, I told them. When a restaurant is new, it is so much nicer to give direct feedback face to face than hide behind a Yelp screen name and throw stones. My opinion anyway!

I've been back twice and I've loved the service and food both times.. The chef/owner came out last time to say hello and make sure we were enjoying everything, definitely felt nice to have him come out and mingle. They do serve beer and soju now, as traffic picks up this place will be one of my favorite comfort foods spots to just hang out and have fun.

The food was OK, but we were there on a Saturday evening - not a full restaurant, I'd say about 75%. However, we waited nearly an hour to be served, during that time the waiter took our orders and brought drinks, but no water. We didn't get any other visit, no explanation about why things were taking so long until the food was delivered. He apologized for the wait and thanked us for our patience but I'm not sure I would return.

Very impressive. If you go out feeling something else, maybe you didn't come here. The fields of change have been in place for some time now, and this isn't some crazy original idea - it's American based food with Korean touches. Yes, they have the Korean beef tacos - which is just Korean beef, in a hand held... but come here for as it states in the name - Chicken. In a group, ordered a family style combo with a medium Bulgogi pizza, whole chicken with a choice of up to 2 flavor coats, and ordered a additional side of wings (up to 3 different coverings). Deal comes with a pitcher of soda, and 2 side salads, Korean style to share. This combo could be had for about 3 adults, but we had 5 and we didn't go unsatisfied. Chicken is deep fried, and pre parted out, bones are minimal. Frying is just a thing, but when you coat it in some of the best sweetness - sweet garlic spicy - you may never want to go back to sweet and sour sauce again. It was that good. Cajun was the our second choice, which flavor is in the batter - slight kick, pepper you can see - but still reeling from the sweet garlic. Wings arent wimpy, muscular puffy studs. Lemon pepper is mild, not overly citrus. Pizza is thin crusted, still slightly chewy - and completely covered in cheese - as it should be - barely leaving a grabbing edge. Beef was juicy and flavorful - like that steak pizza you always want but is never available. ...all for about $40 - for 5 people. Given, we aren't competitive eaters - and why would you come here for that? I was blown away at the food, the flavors, the smells... and then you hand over a bill like that? Quite literally, this place is Hot, Sweet, and Chicken.

Decided to stop by after my girlfriend and i found out the place we were going to go to was closed! We were greeted very well even though we decided to take out. The waiter served as water as we sat down. The atmosphere was super nice, maybe a little too dark for a place like this. It had alot of seats and booths with many TVs. We had the bulgogi pizza, and chicken wings, but I forgot what flavor it was. The bulgogi pizza was alright, I expected more of a korean fusion. It tasted like an american pizza with bulgogi, perhaps maybe something spicy or different pizza sauce would have made it more enjoyable. On the other hand, the chicken wings were super good and perfectly basted with flavor and cooked. It was a little spicy even though we ordered mild. I want to come back here and see what else they serve. This korean infused food always sounds good!

So good! The k-Philly cheese steak was delicious. One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten! Fried chicken is light and crispy, cooked perfectly. The sauces were great too. Supreme pizza was good. Great place. Nice employees. Good prices. Definitely coming back!

I love this place. Came here with a friend for lunch. Surprisingly nobody was there (maybe it'll be crowded at night?). Anyway, the popcorn chicken was soooooo crunchy. Also ordered the dumpling soup, which was very satisfying. This spot is definitely my favorite from now on

We had the sweet chili garlic chicken, hot. It was crisp, generous with the sauce, and had a great kick. I might try the extreme. Service was great, our server made coffee fresh just for my friend. I also love the K pop. Wash down your spicy chicken with an iced Jasmine milk tea. Will return!

Came in and tried the Soy Garlic and Lemon Pepper wings, both were good but I think the Lemon Pepper one is tastier. Although I did enjoy the spice from the Soy Garlic. I love noodles, so I can never help myself from ordering it, so I got the House Ramen... it's delicious and great but it is ultimately just Korean instant noodle. Definitely a cool spot to catch the game and nosh on some yummy wings.

Ordered the wing plate, dduk boki and of course soju. The place is actually nice. Seems like a place to hangout. My review for this will actually be short. I actually give this place a 3.5 but will bump it to a 4. I would like to go back and try other things on the menu as the food I ordered tasted good. The only reason from keeping it from a full 5 is because of the wait time for the food. There was only a total of 6 patrons and I would say our order took quite some time to get to our table. Other than that go and try there wings.

So my new co workers and I came here around 2PM for a late lunch. My coworkers ordered chicken dumpling soup and chicken leg combo and I ordered popcorn chicken plate. About 10 or 15 mins later our food came to our table, or at least my coworkers food did with chicken wings combo that replaced my popcorn chicken. I was a little confused but did not get upset right away and told our server Sam, that I received the wrong plate. However, I told him no need to worry about it that I will eat what i was given(by this time I was just starving and focused on the food that was put in front of me). So here we are devouring our food when 5 minutes later, our server Sam, came to our table and delivered a plate of popcorn chicken in which we all shared. The food we had were simply delicious, tasty, and I think I want to go back for dinner!!! They were so good! Our first time here was a great experience. With Sam taking care of us, he made sure we got the food we ordered and he did not let us pay for it. What a great way to make sure that we, as new customers, come back in the future possibly more often than possible. It's that great experience that Sam let us have. That even if it was a loss in the beginning, he made sure to turned it around by giving us that extra food so that we have that experience to tell our friends which in turn, will bring more customers. So...great job Sam!!! Thank you for the awesome experience!

Actually pretty blown away for my first visit. I had been meaning to try this place for quite some time but the comments of long waits and slow service, plus the handful of one star reviews worried me. Finally went and boy was it excellent. Decor was nice, with plenty of tables for a Thursday night. K-Pop videos played on the screen with gorgeous young women. It wasn't too loud. Service was fine, though the wings did take a little bit of time. Rather have that then they come out underdone, plus I ordered them well done and extra crispy - which they were. I had the 12 piece wings (you can get a different sauce on any group of three wings, so I had my choice of four flavors). I got soy garlic (my favorite. Light but still very tasty), sweet chili (which was also very good and tasted like the wings you'd get at a thai restaurant), the Buffalo (which were as good as any at a regular wings joint), and the sweet garlic (I ordered HOT, and I love spicy so I considered going for Extreme. I'm glad I didn't. HOT was hot enough, and the flavor was quite delicious). Also got the popcorn chicken plate for my son. This consisted of a bunch of perfectly crispy, delicious fried chicken pieces with no sauce on them (original recipe), a scoop of rice, a side salad with vinaigrette, and a choice of any side which was fries. He is very picky at this age and loved them. Thank God. Finally, we had the Hot Ramen Noodle. I really liked this. The broth is truly unique and almost tasted like a variation of French Onion soup but with a nice spiciness. We all enjoyed these. Almost forgot the cheese corn appetizer. It's like corn and Alfredo sauce with ham and some pineapple cubes baked under mozzarella. I don't think it needs the pineapple, but it was soooo good. Will definitely come back. Saw lots of people getting to go orders while I was there. Wish they had a full bar, but that's a small problem. I also had no problem finding parking out front, but supposedly there is a lot in the back.

9/12/14: BEST Korean fried chicken there is. Simple as that. And... for the grand prize--best fried chicken of all? That title I always gave to KFC Extra Crispy. I've tried fried chicken many many restaurants from hole-in-the-walls, to famous soul food locations even in New Orleans, and several high-end $$$ restaurants. And still KFC Extra Crispy (not the normal flavor) reigned. UNTIL NOW. I've been wanting to write a review of this place since it opened, but well, I was lazy ha ha. Back then this place was always empty, despite being in probably a pretty expensive location and having a relatively nice trendy interior design. I was really worried this place would go out of business--and the amazing chicken would die with it. But I guess times have changed... people must be seeing the deservedly high reviews, and are coming... Got the Bulgogi Combo $28.88 (guess they like 8's?) Comes with a bunch of stuff: 1. 2 liter of whatever soda 2. Salad: Pretty good. Like coleslaw with corn. The sriracha surprisingly goes very well with this! 6.5/10. 3. PREMIUM FRIED FRIED CHICKEN: THIS is what you want. Contender for best fried chicken there ever was. This is super crunch on the outside. Extremely savory. Not much going in the way of spicyness--all the flavor comes from the super buttery fried skin. It's like KFC Extra Crispy, but even more crispy! Damn good. Screw The Colonel's secret recipe--ain't worth keeping secret anymore. The patent for this one should sell for $1tril. 100/10 4. Sweet Garlic (mild cause my friends are weak-sauce): They let you mix multiple flavors, so we got this too. Very nice flavor. Tastes the way it sounds. Mildly garlicky, and very sweet--stick to your fingers sticky bun chicken. Very good. This is the Asian / Korean style showing. Good balance against the pureness of the Premium Fried. 9/10 5. Bulgogi Pizza (with sweet potato crust add-on, which costs extra): Very good pizza. The center bread is not too thick and is soft. The outside crust is perfect--soft and chewy. And the sweet potato stuffing tastes really good inside the moist bread! If you get their pizza make sure you get the potato crust for more $. Tip: DO NOT get the potato pizza itself, unless you like potato that much--but yeah, a whole pizza of potato?--no. Bulgogi I think is their best "flavor." It's nicely roasted and gives a good meaty taste to the pizza. Very good pizza by anyone's standards. 8/10. Also got: 6. Ramen Noodle Soup $7.88: Alright, I'm not gonna dwell on this one, cause I want to keep the attention on the amazing chicken and good pizza. But skip this. Thought it would be quality noodle soup like Japanese Ramen. Nope, they meant instant noodles, with some stuff. Anyway, don't get it. 5/10. Mmmmmm.... outstanding. And for just ~$30, and awesome bargain too (fed THREE guys if you believe that)! (Okay, one bad thing--their service SUCKS HARD. Not cause the girl wasn't trying, but because the restaurant was full and there was One Single Girl, who was pretty cute, serving the whole restaurant. That's pretty lame. Come on management.) 6/5. #korean #friedchicken #chicken #pizza #wings

3.5 Stars Since I work in the area, I saw this place when it first opened and a little curious as to how their food was. However, we never made it in until yesterday! There's a small parking lot in the back, but does not have space for many cars. On their website, it shows you permitted parking areas. Other than the parking lot in the back, you can park along Huntington Drive, North and South 1st Avenue, or in the lot southeast of the intersection of N. Santa Anita Avenue and Wheeler Avenue. If you like Korean flavors, but craving pizza or chicken wings and a beer, then this is your ideal place! The interior is surrounded by flat-screen t.v.'s (sports channel). It's dim inside with low hanging light fixtures, red wall, brick, wood floors, and dark furniture. They offer draft beers, imported beers, Soju, K-Martini (pomegranate & lychee), Smirnoff, and wine. We had a party of 6. What I like about their menu is that they have Family Combos and Weekday Combos so you can share with others. We ordered 2 Thursday Bulgogi Pizza Combos ($24.88 each). The combo comes with a medium pizza, 12 pieces of chicken wings, house salad, sweet white radish and 2-liter soda pitcher. Our server warned us that the chicken would take 15-20 minutes in case we were in a hurry. However, they didn't take that long to come out since we were the only group in the restaurant along with 1 other table who already had their food. We noticed that the tables were kind of small and not wide enough to put a lot of food in the middle since we were sharing dishes. There was only one server working, but she a good job. I'm not too keen on chicken wings, but I really liked these ones! They had sauce on them, but still kept a nice crisp when you bit into it. For sauces, we chose the Sweet Garlic in regular and extreme hot. We had two spicy fanatics in our group, but they said it wasn't spicy at all to them! They weren't even tearing or anything! (I'm a wimp so I didn't even try... lol) The pizza was just okay. I wished it had a little more bulgogi meat on it and the crust was a little dry and too chewy near the middle. Anyway, I was still pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal as well as the service. Our bill for 6 people only came out to $54.24 so after adding 15% tip, it was only $10.40/person (we all rounded up to $11). 162/100 Reviews for 2014

When we first moved here, this was one of the first restaurants we noticed and we always yelled out "hot n sweet chicken!!" whenever we drove past. Last week, we finally came in and had a really pleasant meal. I had an individual combo with 2 fried chicken legs, sweet potato fries (you can choose a side), salad and rice, and what a deal! It was definitely a lot of food for the price. The chicken legs were massive (probably not organic free-range chicken, but what can you do), and fried to perfection. The skin was so crisp and delicious with the sweet chili sauce that I chose, and interior was moist. I figured chicken was their specialty... We went for a really late lunch on a friday, so there weren't too many other diners, and service was excellent. I even got to try their radish pickles gratis (because I asked, and they were good)! I liked sitting in the large booth and the interior has a nice sports bar feel (with 3 tvs on the walls). I'm not sure about their pizza, their other speciality, but I would come back just for more fried chicken.

I came here with my friend on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was pretty empty. We got seated right away. The inside has a relatively hip yet modern look with dim lighting and plenty of seats. The menu selection seemed extensive with dukboki and other Korean dishes, but we focused on the fried chicken wings and pizza. BBQ Chicken Pizza: flat crust pizza topped with chicken and cheese with fresh tomato in between the flour and cheese. It was delicious! Not oily and not overpowering. The chicken tasted tender and tomatoes fresh. Garlic Soy Chicken Drumsticks (6, pretty big!): It tasted crunchy but somewhat bland, though my friend said when she came last time it tasted more well-seasoned. I will definitely try this again next time to see if the bland-ness is only a one-time thing. Sweet Garlic Chicken Drumsticks + Regular Spiciness: this is PRETTY SPICY! We should've gone with the mild spiciness. Even though my friend and I both eat spicy food, we were not prepared for this level of regular spiciness. It's not unbearable, but we would've been better off with mild. Aside from that, it tasted like its name, sweet and spicy, well-marinated and also retained its crunchy texture. I would definitely come back here again and try their other Korean dishes. It is a good place to satisfy fried chicken cravings and maybe grab a beer or two while relaxing with friends. I would definitely recommend coming here as a group since the portions are relatively big and there's a good menu selection. :)

We ordered the Bulogi pizza, lemon pepper popcorn chicken and sweet garlic with buffalo wing dipping sauce and sweet teriyaki sauce!! Sooooo good!! We also ordered the 6 piece of sweet chili wings!! I was very impressed and full!! They serve beer and the service is great!! We will be back again !

Finally! I don't have to go to K-town for good Korean fried chicken! Parking: Street or Lot behind I would say their wings are comparable to Kyochon quality. They are pretty big so you don't have to worry about leaving hungry. My favorite flavors: 1. Soy Garlic 2. Sweet Garlic (spicy levels can be adjusted) 3. Sweet Chili The Lemon Pepper ones are too salty for my taste, but the flavor is good. Their Potato Wedge Pizza is pretty good with a crispy crust, no need to get the filled crusts!

Ordered (Total of $24.81): -Bulgogi Pizza ($12.88): The bulgogi pizza needed more bulgogi. More corn would have been good too. I was super disappointed by the lack of toppings. -Chicken Wing Plate (Mild Soy Garlic Flavor) with Onion Rings ($9.88): The soy garlic flavored wings were delicious. Definitely a fan. The onion rings were really good too.

Very attentive n friendly service. Started out with salad (complimentary). Corn on top off flavor but it's ok if u need veggies. They need to inform there's Siracha at bottom of salad so don't stir if u don't want spicy salad. We got the various types of wings and honestly they were pretty good ! quite crispy on the outside and soft and cooked well on the inside. I don't think they're a spicy level is up to par with what I am accustomed to. so the next time I will probably do extreme if you're the kind that can eat a whole piece of jalapeno and not think that's too Drinks were refilled very promptly however there were only two tables to be served that mid afternoon weekend. I think happy hour would've been busier. We finished off with the desert of mango coconut and chocolate mint. It honestly felt like it came out from a box (a tasty box it was) the only problem is I wished they had defrosted the dessert better before serving it to us. I needed a knife together with my fork to eat my coconut mango which was quite delicious ! I am not sure who made it...probably some company that I will hopefully find in the store. They really presented this desert quite well with the mango syrup and marshmallows. I think I charring marshmallows would have kicked it up another notch. Chocolate mint was really good but again not defrosted well enough. Nonetheless you cannot go wrong if it was from a delicious box. There could've been a baker in the back that we did not know off but being that this is a wing place I doubt that they took time to hire a pastry chef. Parking is not really easy however it was mid afternoon and street parking was quite easy to find. I certainly will be back for the wings. The book of your pizza was not bad but it tasted like pizza to me. It is a Korean fusion place so I expect Korean music in the background but the food I think was pretty average but the wings quite good. A great tip is if you wanted your pizza customized you can ask for some interesting ideas such as stuffing that crust with sweet potato. Say what?!

Discovered this place through yelp and so glad I did! The food was very good. The bulgogi pizza with golden crust (sweet potato mousse filling) was delicious.. The chicken legs with sweet garlic sauce was my favorite. There are many different seasonings - cajun, buffalo, soy garlic.. etc. The restaurant itself feels like a bar - it's very casual with TV's all around and booth seating.. great place for big groups of people. It's like a korean version of alondra hot wings but better :)

I came here late on a Saturday night and was surprised at how many people were here! I've driven by this restaurant several times now and finally decided to give them a try. There is parking in the back and some street parking in front. I parked at the Chase next door since the bank was closed. There are so many options. We ordered the Potato Wedge Family Combo, which included a potato wedge pizza, whole chicken, salad & radishes, and 2-litre soda for $30. This was actually A LOT of food! I really like the pizza! The potato wedge was oddly very good with it (carbs on carbs), and I would order this again. The whole chicken was a lot of chicken. They weren't your normal-sized wings - each piece was gigantic and difficult to know where to expect the bones. We got the wings with soy garlic and sweet garlic. I liked both! The soy garlic was lighter and the sweet garlic was spicy and had a lot of flavor, so it just depends on your mood. We ended up with some leftovers and split the meal between 3 people, so the price is very reasonable.

Got a weekday combo which included a potato wedge pizza, 12 piece wings, house salad, and 2 liter drink for $23.88. The pizza had potato wedges, bulgolgi, sausage, corn, and bell peppers. It sounds good on the menu but tasted just ok. I'm not sure what is off about it. Perhaps it's the combination of toppings or maybe there wasn't enough meat or flavor. For the wings, we were allowed to pick 4 sauces. We tried and liked them in the following order: soy garlic, original, sweet chili (pretty spicy), and lemon pepper. Most of the flavored were all pretty good except we didn't cats for the lemon pepper. The house salad is similar to coleslaw and our little one really enjoyed it. Overall the weekday combo is a decent intro to the more popular items on the menu (chicken wings and pizza). The service here is fantastic and the restaurant has a cool trendy vibe that would be great for watching sports or ganging out with friends. Not sure if there is a parking lot but we found street parking just around the corner. Nice place to check out. I recommend the chicken wings.

Was a loyal new customer. Went there once every 2-3 weeks. The last 2 visits were not spectacular by any means. I had to wait over 45 minutes for a pizza. Yes they were packed and having only 2 waiter was ridiculous. I don't know who's fault this was, but wasting my time is not okay with me. Sorry, but I'm never coming here again.

We tried Hot n Sweet Chicken a while back. I didn't have high expectations going in, but my fiancé really likes to try new wing places. The wings were just ok (a little crispy for my taste). We also got Do Bok Gi (spelling?), a dish that like, but were pretty disappointed in since it tasted not as traditional as it should taste (sweeter and really watery). We aren't Korean, but we do appreciate the taste of an OG dish. Maybe I'm also picky because I've tried it in Korea? The service was incredibly slow (we were the only ones dining there and still stayed over an hour...). If you are dining there for your lunch, do expect the entire dining experience to be longer than an hour. There's parking in the back, but street parking isn't hard to find on Huntington. My friend and I shared the bulgogi pizza and some wings. It all tasted pretty decent, and the interior setup was very similar to other Korean fusion joints, and the staff was friendly. The food tasted delicious to us because we were super hungry and excited, but we noticed that there's not much bulgogi toppings on the pizza, so it tasted like any other pizza. The wings were good because we love wings but thinking about it now, there was nothing memorable about it.

This place is yummmmm. Their Wednesday night special is a great deal. 9 chicken legs, 1 supreme pizza, and soda for $25! I'm not so much a fan of their pizza toppings. A couple of them have pineapple. I don't really like sweet toppings, but this actually wasn't bad. Bugolgi as a topping is pretty tasty. The chicken is great. I loved the Cajun seasoning. The original is also very crispy. If you like a sweeter chicken, you can try the soy garlic or sweet chili. I prefer the dry rub spicier variety. If you like Tokyo Fried Chicken, you should definitely give this place a shot. The chicken is comparable and a better price.

3.5 Stars First time trying this place and we had it to go. Thanks Gary L for picking it up for us while Calvin T and I were at One hundred and One bar down the street. I called in to order some wings to go. I called in and ordered 12 wings of soy garlic, sweet chili wings, and a order of Dabuki and $1 of their ramen. The guy who took my order said our food would be ready in 15 minutes. By the time Gary picked it up, everything was packed and ready. Food arrived, still hot, we all chowed down and soy garlic wings was the winner! Loved it since it wasn't too tangy nor too sweet. Love the crunch, especially chewing on the cartilage. Crunch crunch crunch! The sweet chili wings were alright, could be because I wasn't feeling the spiciness at the moment, but the soy garlic wings hit the spot especially with a beer! Never forget that! Our sauce from Dabuki spilled due to Gary did not know there was sauce in the box, so the Dabuki was a bit dry, but we will give it another try next time! When we ordered the ramen, I thought it was going to be a soup base ramen, but it came out just plain ramen that you are suppose to mix with the Dabuki, so don't forget to mix, mix, mix! Overall, we enjoyed the wings. Soy Garlic wings is a must try!

Lol make sure you ask the waiter what the difference between the whole chicken and chicken wings are. The waiter might give you a full anatomy lesson of a chicken. Pizza was meh. We got the bugolgi pizza but it didn't taste very special. The chicken was definitely good. We got the lemon pepper and hot sweet garlic. would come back for the chicken but not so much the pizza.

So bomb. We ordered the family combo potato wedge pizza + garlic ginger chicken. Really good. Will def be coming back for work lunches. One note tho: Don't order the jasmine milk tea. It was watery and not that good.

My husband and I were visiting from Texas and decided to try this place. It was my first experience with Korean-inspired food, and boy, did this place set the bar high! I ordered the K Tacos with chicken, which were absolutely delicious. The flavor of the sauce was just the right amount of sweet and tangy, and the chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. I special ordered my tacos without the Korean salsa and cabbage, but they are an option if you're into those toppings. My husband got the Bulgogi pizza, which was delicious too. The bulgogi meat was so juicy and flavorful. But hands down, the best part was the sweet potato-stuffed crust. How genius is that?! So yummy, I could have made a meal out of it. I also have to mention our awesome server Sam. He was so friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered the restaurant. Our drinks were always full, and he always had a smile whenever he stopped by to check on us. Customer service can make or break a place, and Hot and Sweet Chicken gets a huge A++ from me in this area.

Came here on a Thursday night. It wasn't super busy, maybe just four or five tables full. But it was weird because as we walked in we see the waiter standing there but he does not walk to us to ask how many in our party. So I stood there for a little and wondered if they were busy but he continued to stand there for a few moments. There was only one waiter working. But I think I encountered the same thing the last time I came here as well. Maybe it's a seat yourself kind of a place. This is the closest location to get Korean fried chicken around here but it's just not quite the same. We ordered the combo meal that came with chicken, pizza, pickled daikon, small salad and a pitcher of soda which was more than enough for 3 or 4 people. The chicken was okay I think it's was a little over drenched in the sauce (and the flavors was not what I really expected). We chose the soy garlic and sweet chili because the combo allowed two flavors. I only tried one piece of each flavor and wasn't too crazy of either one. The pizza was decent for an Asian place. However, I do like how they have combos because I love to have variety. But the main part was the chicken and sadly it didn't meet my expectations.

Chicken wings are one of my favorite foods. I always drive by this place but never stopped by to try it out til a few days ago and I'm glad I did! As an appetizer we got one of my favorites - corn cheese. It's pretty good, except there was a little more mayo in it than to my liking. We ordered the daily specials which are not only affordable but it also came with so much! The pizza for the Wednesday special was the Potato Wedge Pizza which we added the sweet potato stuffed crust filling with. Omg, I've never had sweet potato stuffed crust it's soooo good. I usually don't eat the crust of pizzas because it's flavorless and a waste of stomach space when I could be eating moar pizza. The daily deal also came with 12 pcs of chicken wings - there's so many options for Korean style chicken wing flavors that you can choose from. Being our first time there we decided to try all the special flavors (pictured) my favorite was the Sweet Chili and Soy Garlic which had a kick to them as well. :3 We also got some refreshing radish to counter all the fried food we had and a liter of soda with our meal, too. I'd definitely come back :)

Chicken wings were decent, not spectacular or anything. They were very crunchy but had too much batter for my liking. Sauces were good but the spicy ones werent spicy enough, barely had any heat to them at all. Very friendly workers.

Went here a couple weeks ago with my 2 year old daughter and my boyfriend. So we were the only people in the place, they had no kids menu and honestly the food was good but this wouldn't be my first choice. Service was nice and friendly.

I was going to give this place 3 stars after the first two visits I've had here during the beginning of this year but after giving it a third try... I have to say it's improved quite a bit! Initially, almost everything we had ordered was bland and the service was extremely slow. Nice, but really slow. Now, the service is still nice but more attentive which is a good change. We ordered: 1. Bulgogi Pizza: We found this to be really bland (yes, even for a pizza!) and we really weren't impressed with it and there really wasn't much beef on there. With that in mind, we didn't order it during the second visit but we gave it another try this last time and it's so good! I hope it's not a fluke but we definitely changed our minds the moment we got our hands on it. This pizza contains bulgogi, corn, onions, bell peppers and mushroom. We ended up with two slices as leftovers (just for two people) since we had ordered individual dishes as well. 2. Chicken Wing Plate: I had the lemon pepper flavor for the wings and it was soooo good. There are other flavors to choose from such as sweet chili or hot, etc... but I'm partial to lemon pepper so that was what I ended up with for the second time (I had really liked this one previously so I ordered that again). It comes with rice, your choice of side like fries, fried zucchini, etc., and salad. I honestly think that if I had this individual dish on its own, I really would not be full. Either way, it's nicely plated and was really good. We got the popcorn chicken, too, and it was essentially the same idea with same options for sides and choice of flavor for your chicken. They also offer other tacos, some Korean food, family combo of assorted dishes which is a cool idea. They always seem to have run out of drinks that I want that's on their menu, though, but the Korean pear spritzer is pretty good. Overall, I would definitely suggest trying this place and I think that they did improve in terms of taste and faster service. I'll be coming back!

3.5 stars but rounded up! My friends and I stopped by a week or two ago after an eventful afternoon. I really want to like this place more, but there's something about the food that didn't give it the extra kick for me to find it amazing. The interior is modern and nice. There is a front and back entrance, a huge clock on one side of the wall, and tables split into three sections. We were settling for a super late lunch or early dinner. It was around 5 o' clock in the evening when we arrived. FOOD Of course, we came to try out the Korean chicken wings! We got the soy garlic and sweet garlic. The soy garlic chicken wings were crispy and sweet. Definitely a different flavoring than the traditional American wings. I didn't try the sweet garlic which my friend ordered hot, but she seemed to enjoy them. We were debating between the supreme or bulgogi pizza, but we decided on the supreme since it contained bulgogi anyways! The supreme pizza had sausage, bulgogi, ham, pepperoni, onions, peppers, mushrooms and corn! Regardless of the toppings, it still tasted a little bland to me. I couldn't taste the bulgogi at all. The corn was layered below the cheese, which was surprisingly pleasant. We also got the potato wedges as an appetizer, which tasted like any other potato wedges. SERVICE Our waiter was very nice. He answered our questions and gave recommendations since it was out first time! He delivered our food, and made sure we were comfortable. The place was nearly empty when we arrived, and he stopped by a couple of times to check if we needed anything else! All in all, we were satisfied to have filled our stomachs and give this place a try!

Came here with a few friends for late dinner. This place is not your typical pizza + wings sports bar restaurant! Its always interesting to see how fusion places twist traditional American favorites with flavors from a different culture. This was my first time trying Korean pizza. We got the bulgolgi pizza with cheese stuffed crust, an appetizer sampler, and wings. The pizza came a little smaller than expected, but between the 4 of us it was enough. Definitely good pizza and the bulgolgi topping was interesting but there was barely any stuffed crust! We were all wondering if they forgot that we ordered stuffed crust or if they were just super skimpy -__- I'm also not the biggest fan of thin crust so as a suggestion it'd be cool if they could offer thick crust options too. EVERYTHING in the appetizer sampler was very tasty. I recommend all the appetizers! I especially liked the mozzarella sticks. The sampler plate was huge and came out fresh and hot (I burned my tongue on the zucchini fries haha). I wish sweet potato fries were included in the sampler plate though! I love sweet potato fries... :c Didn't try the wings because my friend got it super spicy and I just can't handle that level of awesome. But she said it was really delicious. It definitely looked really delicious too. Parking can be difficult since its mostly street parking. The place isn't very big and when I went it wasn't very crowded either, which is odd for a sports bar restaurant. Service was great! Our waiter was super attentive and nice. We got Choco-pies at the end of our meal too :) Unfortunately, even though the food is decent, I have to say that the prices here really aren't worth what they give you and that you can definitely find better interesting food elsewhere. Its worth a try if you're around the area though, and I do want to come back to try the sweet potato pizza someday~

Not very busy when we came in. I got the Philly cheesesteak and my mom got the chicken Leg combo. The bulgogi in the cheesesteak was so yummy and the chicken was cooked to perfection with crispy skin. We will be coming back soon!

Was out in Arcadia and saw this place reviewed here on Yelp. Well worth a visit. Start with the service. There was only one waiter, which slowed service, but since we were not in a rush and just enjoying football, it wasn't a big deal. We all had wings with various sauces. Buffalo, lemon, garlic, sweet chili, plain. My favorite was the sweet chili. You can get 4 levels of heat. I went with 3. It was just right. Enough heat, but not overwhelming. One of the orders was delayed. The waiter recognized it and provided something else at no charge until his order was ready. we also had fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries. All were cooked perfect and tasted great. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If I am out that way again, I will be headed back.

Came right after a rush. Chicken's crispy skin was delicious, but after the outer layer, the chicken is pretty dry inside. Pizza and appetizers were either really good or we were starving, probably both

Food: *I got wednesday special combo, 9 fried chicken drumsticks with large supreme pizza for about 25 dollars - Fried chicken : i've tried sweet garlic, garlic soy and salt n' lemon. None of them were special. It was very crunchy but the way too dried for me, also the meat inside was tasteless and not tender. - Pizza : It was almost perfect. They put a lot of toppings on it. Yum. Services: The server was very friendly and professional. I may not come back to this place because I have the better fried chicken and pizza in Pasadena but it is not that bad if you need to give a try to this place :)

So I was watching When a Man Loves (this lesser known Korean drama), and the main actress is always stuffing her face with ddukbokki, which inevitably makes ME want to stuff MY face with ddukbokki. I really need to switch to Taiwanese dramas because it's pretty tough to get good Korean food in Arcadia. Anywho, I yelped around and found this lovely Korean spot super close to my house. SCORE! AND they had Korean style hot wings! DOUBLE SCORE. For those of you unfamiliar with Korean hot wings, think of your Average American Hot Wing, then add a dash of crack and a sprinkle of freshly cried unicorn tears (of the joyful variety) and there you have it. Korean wings are amazing. They are also awfully pricey, I think 8 wings were around $10. But when you sob incoherently and scream a lot of bad words as you eat something, you know it was all worth it. The ddukbokki was good, but the wings really took the cake. Mmm......cake. Probably the only time I've ever spent almost $20 on a dinner for myself. Would I do it again? YES.

Their chicken wings have this really yummy outer shell that is super crispy. Their most popular chicken sauces are the lemon pepper and sweet garlic according to them. The sweet garlic is delicious. It's insanely filling. We also got the potato wedge pizza which is also really good. I wish they would put more bulgogi on it though. I really enjoyed their pickled radishes that came with the family combo.

Decided to go back with a friend to take advantage of the pre-Super Bowl coverage on their TVs... Pros: There were several people picking up phone orders, so I'm happy they're getting business on Super Bowl Sunday. Service was also still very good. This time, there was only one waitress... I just hope she wasn't overwhelmed with the flux of Super Bowl viewers. Con: I ordered the Mixed Greens Salad again, except one, they didn't have their soy-miso dressing and it also looked completely different from the first time I ordered it. (previous version was completely shredded with seaweed and other ingredients, very tasty) Everything was still pretty fresh though and the chicken breast I added on this time was acceptable, but it was just strange it was clearly a different dish. I wonder what happened to the original recipe?... Either way, I was a bit disappointed. They were also sold out of popcorn chicken by the time we got there (around 1:30pm), which was strange. My friend ended up ordering a chicken wings plate. He typically eats spicy things, and he said the "hot" option for his wings' sauce was almost unbearable... haha. The plate seemed like a good distribution of food though: rice, wings, zucchini fries, and even some salad. I feel like there should've been more wings, but I guess this is their version. Overall: I've decided it's still a bit weird to go in the afternoon because the dark color scheme makes the place look really gloomy, so I feel the place may be more appropriate to visit at night and would recommend going in the evenings when it may be more lively.

Hot n Sweet Chicken is a great Korean Fusion restaurant, but I think their pizza was much much better than their chicken. I came here with some friends, the restaurant is modern, they serve beer, and have some really comfortable seats, I feel like I can just fall asleep. The service was great and the waiter told us all the different options that you can order, we went with the combo platter which came with a pizza of your choice, fried chicken, salad and a pitcher of soda. The pizza we ordered was some potato wedged pizza that had bulgogi on it, I didn't think it was going to work, but it tasted super good. I think what was the money maker on the pizza was the sauce they used, which was a sweet white wine sauce, really really good. As for the fried chicken, we were able to order it in half and half flavors; spicy and sweet soy, as it came with 12 pieces. I liked both soy flavors, the sweet soy was more present than the spicy one though. We even ordered chicken wings.....but probably didn't need to because the fried chicken that came with the combo was pretty much similar to the wings. I liked the flavoring on the chicken, but the technique wasn't there when it came down to battering the chicken. If they used less batter, it would have been much better, but its ok as long as the flavor was there.

This did not live up to my expectations. I have heard a lot of good things about this place. I came here with my sisters and boy, were we disappointed. We ordered the bulgogi pizza, soy garlic chicken, and sweet chili garlic chicken. The chicken itself tasted like it was fried in old oil. The chicken was very crispy but the taste was off. The old oil taste was very apparent. I was not impressed with their chicken wings at all. The sauces used didn't taste like anything special. The sweet chili garlic tasted like the sweet chili sauce you buy at a store. The bulgogi pizza was basically chesse. There was barely any bulgogi or veggies. I felt I was eating a cheese pizza. The staff are attentive but you can tell they don't really coordinate or have a formal structure of who handles which tables. Parking is hard to find. I parked on the street and thankfully when i went it was not crowded. I am not sure how parking would be during the dinner or lunch rush.

They make good pasta and jambalaya too! Even though neither dish is Korean, they are quite delicious. I drink at the bar next door and have to eat when I drink. This place will deliver right to your seat at the bar. I'm not much of a chicken fan, so I usually order something else off the menu. The pizza is surprisingly tasty as well. Don't be scared of the strange combination of ingredients on the pizzas. Corn is really good on pizza...I swear.

Came here last night for the first time! I've been looking for a korean wing place without having to drive all the way out to ktown. We ordered the bulgogi pizza with sweet potato crust, sweet chili and sweet garlic wings. Everything was amazing. The wings were crispy and gooey on the outside, moist on the inside :) Our server Kevin definitely made our experience 10 times better than it already was.

Dined here during christmas eve with two friends. i thought the server was great - he was the only one working and managed to keep a smile and was very welcoming. But the kitchen is slow. Took forever to get our meals and the restaurant wasn't even packed! We ordered a half chicken and got to do half soy garlic flavor and half sweet sauce (mild). we all thought the sweet sauce was more pungent and flavorful. The soy garlic was just ok. the chicken itself was crispy but i wish there were more meat. The chicken itself was quite skinny. All i had was bite full of skin / batter. We also ordered a medium size pizza (BBQ Chicken) w/ gold crust. It was tasty and the portion was good but i felt the pizza was too gooey. the pizza was falling apart; none of the toppings stayed on the pizza slice. If you have been to Pizza and Chicken Love Letter, this place mimics them. However i think the pizza at Chicken Love Letter is much better. The gold crust at Chicken love letter is soft and so fragrant. At Hot n Sweet Chicken, the flavor is there, but the crust is just not as soft as Chicken Love Letter. The potato inside the crust was not as tasty as Chicken Love letter -- the one at Love Letter, the potatoes are more mashed and was more stuffed in the crust. Here at Hot n Sweet Chicken, there are gaps in between the crust and the potato.. they should stuff it more.. but also just enough so that it isn't too heavy / rich. We also ordered Dduk Bok Ki and i thought it was tasty. good amount of spicy and the portion was decent for sharing if you are ordering other items. You can eat the dish alone and it will fill you up from all the rice cakes it come with. My friend ordered a lychee martini and we all thought it was yummy. in the menu, they also offer combo meals just like how Chicken Love Letter does it. In a way it's a good deal..but honestly, i think it's better to just order individually -- who wants to drink 2 L sodas.. and they dont give the real liter.. they give a pitcher (probably a 2L size) but w/ those foams .. who knows if it's really 2L. overall the food was ok. if you're in the area and don't feel liek driving far for Chicken Love letter.. then yes, eat at Hot n Sweet Chicken. Otherwise, i do prefer Chicken love letter over this place. This place still need some improvements.

Tried it twice, not impressed. The fried cheese, calamari, & zucchini were soaking in oil and not crispy. The food is average in taste and not great quality. The ramen is very spicy and does not say on the menu - nor did the waiter advise, he didn't even offer to switch it out after admitting that he should have told me. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp dumpling soup & it had no flavor. Not to mention that I got stuck eating it since the food I ordered was so spicy that we switched. I really expected more and left disappointed both times. Drinks are expensive and any questions you have from waiters is no. I haven't been to such a customer unfriendly establishment in Arcadia in a very long time. Don't waste your time-

Love this place! Came with family on a Sunday for lunch, it was nice and the noise level was just right, I thought it be noisy since the soccer game was on but they adjust the volume to a comfortable level. We ordered the combo special with sweet potato and spicy wings, good sauce, good pizza and great service. They did not turn on the AC, only had ceiling fans which is a little uncomfortable since we are eating spicy wings but I guess it's okay since we were out in 40 mins or so. The combo portion is good for 3 adults, we will be back again for lunch.

Hot n Sweet Chicken is a pretty chill place to go get some tasty Korean wings and pizza. Food: 5/5 The food we ordered was hot, fresh, and delicious. 1. Bulgogi Pizza - Each slice was like cheesy bulgogi heaven in my mouth. The pizza was generously topped with mounds of bulgogi, cheese, and veggies. Surprisingly, the pizza was not particularly greasy. Nom. 2. Sweet Garlic Wings/Legs - The breading was crispy, and the meat was juicy. Wanted to order 100 more after my first bite, but ultimately abstained from doing so due to financial and physiological realities. 3. Soy Garlic Wings/Legs - See 2. I should also point out that there is a pretty tasty appetizer salad that they dress with thousand island and corn. Service: 4/5 Our entrees took a fairly long time to get to our table - probably around 20-25 minutes or so. That said, the waiter was friendly and kept our drinks filled throughout the duration of our wait. You go Glen Coco. Atmosphere: 4/5 The place is comfortable, clean, and has a casual/modern vibe to it. Overall: 4/5 Will be returning in the near future.

Potato Wedges and potato wedges+bulgogi pizza are good. The chef put mayonnaise-like sauce on the pizza so it tastes different than a typical pizza. (After all, this is a Korean pizza place.) The cheese and sauce go quite well with bulgogi and potatoes. Unlike typical pizzas with salty taste, Korean pizzas bring you a fresher and more blended taste. Last but not least, grab 2000 cc beer and you will not regret of getting it. You can also ask for wine, martini, or cocktail which are off-menu. Besides delicious food, the service is wonderful. Kevin and Brandon are helpful and honest because they would recommend you the best dishes on the menu and try to give you the best pricing. They also constantly check up on you even though they are busy serving with other tables. It is definitely worth to give these nice servers generous tips. Parking lot is at the back of the restaurant and recommend you to get a (free) street parking instead.

Disclaimer: This is a review for their chicken only. Menu: Easy to read, but missing prices (In their defense, this place has been only open for 8 months. Order: Popcorn Chicken Plate (Sweet Garlic) The sauce had a lot of favor. The chicken was crispy. I had it mild, but it still had a nice kick to it. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it for 8.99. 12 pieces Chicken (Lemon Pepper, Soy Garlic and Sweet Garlic) The chicken was fried to near perfection. The lemon pepper needed more seasoning, but much better than wing stop or any other places I've eaten. The soy garlic tasted similar to like a light teriyaki sauce, but it wasn't my favorite of the bunch. The sweet garlic was the best favor we ordered. Savory, crispy with a kick of spicy = Yum! Sweet Potatoes Fries Nothing special, but still good.

I'm half Korean, 100% American & unfortunately this fusion place did not impress. I'd much rather go to KFC, Wild Wings, or dare I say Quickly's for chicken. I found the chicken to be dry and lacking flavor - the Cajun one was the best. I also had the bulgogi tacos. The corn tortillas were NOT warm and the flavor of the marinade was only half way there. For what I got, I thought it was pricey. Overall, it was okayyy. Maybe try the pizza?? The pics make them look like great Korean style pizzas!

Since my last review, I've visited Hot n Sweet Chicken again and I'm happy to say they now have their liquor license! Wooooooo! My four girlfriends and I wanted to go drinking but didn't want to drive too far, so we came here on a Friday night. The restaurant was practically empty but we didn't mind 'cause it made us feel like we owned the place, hehe. We ordered a plate of Duk Bok Gi along with two (or three... I don't recall) bottles of soju, two liters of lemonade, and a glass of beer. The sweet servers also served us complimentary Korean pomegranate vinegar chasers, which we didn't really like at first, but the taste grew on us and became really yummy. And all that only cost us $40! Forty dollars. Wat. So cheap! Honestly, if we had gone out to downtown LA or even K-Town, I'm sure it would've cost us double that amount. What is that you say? Our new local drinking spot in the 626? Absolute-fucking-yes. P.S. The restaurant is kind of too bright to be a drinking spot. I suggest they dim the lights after a certain time (10 pm? 11 pm?) to give it more of a lounge-y vibe. Oh, and the only con is they close at midnight. Boo.

Hot n Sweet Chicken is simply mediocre and unmemorable. If I didn't write this review right away, I simply would have forgotten this place among the other plethora of forgettable places I've experienced over my lifetime. Not bad. Not great. Just ok. We ordered the K-tacos and an order of the popcorn chicken with buffalo flavoring. The tacos were pretty much cold by the time I got them. They hadn't bothered to heat up the tortillas beforehand. They were mostly comprised of cabbage that absorbed the paltry drizzle of sauce on top. The popcorn chicken was ok but something about the flavoring sauce just tasted 'off' to me. The price wasn't horrible. I can see how it would be fun if you've got a big group of people either winding up or winding down from a night of drinking.

I have been here twice and I love it. I always get their daily specials because their chicken wings and legs are pretty big and their Bulgogi pizza is amazing. I also like the fact that they have kpop music / music videos going on. I requested a song and the waiter put it on for me. The waiters are very nice cool, they always check up on you at times.

Been here twice now. Both time the service has been terrible. Asked for water when we got here and 10 minutes later no one has taken our order or come with the water. I got up to ask about it and the guy said sorry I'll be right there. 5 minutes later and still nothing. I normally don't mind bad service but they also got our order completely wrong then did nothing about it. The wings are super crispy which was nice but extremely mediocre in flavor. Kyonchon is 4-5 times better. We got the soy garlic which was pretty lacking as well as the "hot" sweet garlic which wasn't spicy at all. Over all the wings were pretty disappointing. The pizza is ok at best. I kind of feel like it's store bought and not freshly made except that they have a cheese filled crust. Had bulgogi on our pizza and I couldn't really tell the difference between it and regular beef. There wasn't enough marinade on it to make it stand out from the other toppings. The food here is 3 stars at best from what I've tried. Maybe the other stuff on the menu is better but the service is so bad I'm not planning on finding out.

First time here with my wife. I have to say, the Korean flare with American cuisine is a perfect match. Waiter was nice and explained some of the dishes. The fried chicken is soo crunchy and perfectly seasoned. I definitely found a new place to eat that unique food on the weekdays with my wife.

Cons: I was excited to give this place a try - given the reviews. When we arrived there were only 3 or 4 other tables taken. The server wasn't able up answer any questions we had... So we blind sidedly ordered... We never got refills on our iced tea or beer and the server didn't come back until they brought us the tab. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. I would save the dinner date for another restaurant to be honest. Pros: The decor is amazing.

The food is terrible! I can't believe this place has a 4 star rating. This place is only for kids and those who do not have a taste bud! I was the only customer here during peak lunch hour and it took them 20 min to serve me!! Yuck!

We came here for lunch the other day and really liked it. We ordered pizza with golden crust. The pizza was delicious, but i was not so thrilled about the crust because it was not enough filling and crunchy enough to have that "wow" factor, where the sweetness, dessert-like consistency of the crust would blend so well with the salty & savory taste of the rest of the pizza. I have had better potato-filled crust. I loved the chicken wings. We order the 12 wing entree and were given the option to choose up to 4 flavors, so we picked soy sauce, sweet sauce, plain, and buffalo. Except for the buffalo sauce, which is a little ordinary and very tangy, every other ones are really delicious. I loved the crunchy coating. We also ordered the cheese corn. Yummy!!!

I think I'm in love! Been looking for a local Korean chicken place, so happy this is here. After reading reviews I decided I wanted to try the bulgogi pizza and wings. Behold, today is Thursday and the weekend combo is a bulgogi pizza and 12 wings for $25. Had lemon pepper and sweet garlic hot (although the waiter told us we could have 3-4 flavors). Both are incredibly delicious the batter is the prefect level of crispy. The bulgogi pizza was amazing the crust was good. I can't wait to come back here I also want to try the soy garlic and cajun wings. Service was great and really attentive.

I was very torn about what to order here - I saw a lot of reviews of their pizza and wings - but I finally decided on the dduk bok ki - one of the traditional korean dishes. Wow! The sauce was perfectly balanced - a little sweet / a little spicy - it was a really great dish. You could tell the entire dish was made from scratch. The service too was spot-on. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I may have to go back again this week before we head out of town!

First, the good: the food is yummy. Very tasty, plenty to choose from and the portions are generous. I would definitely come back for the food. Now, the bad: the service is painfully slow. We waited a bit just to place our order... And even longer to get the food. I saw a guy walk in waiting to be seated, and he waited for over 5 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant. The waitress kept walking around and never acknowledged him until he asked if he was supposed to seat himself. So, if you're really hungry or in a hurry, don't come here.

I like the fact that there is a Korean fried chicken place near my house. Server was very friendly and attentive. Very good with refills and friendly conversation. The fried chicken was as expected, crunchy, spicy and sweet! The pizza of the day was a potato pizza, crust was good, it was almost like a hand tossed pizza, a bit on the thin side (which I like). I would recommend getting the chicken traditional and asking for the sauces on the side. That way you get a taste of a little of everything!

Chicken is outstanding! Although it was a late grub when we got here, the place was fairly slow so the service was great! The servers actually talk to you and have great recommendations! We have gone here when it was busier and the servers still pay attention and treat you great! I don't know what the chefs put in the food, but it is delicious! I will def be coming back!

A great place to watch games with a few buddies. They have a lot of TVs. We ordered the bulgolgi pizza combo with the o.g. and hot garlic chicken. It wasn't worth the price. The chicken was loaded with batter and the flavor didn't really seep into the chicken. The pizza was ok. The best part of the meal was the cheese filled crust.

review i write a while back.....still stands... Drive by this place all the time since it opened but finally decided to give it a shot on recommendation of my cousin (plus....Souplantation was packed!). Place was empty when we walked in but waitresses were very friendly and helpful in deciphering their menu. Got the "Wednesday Combo" which consists of their Supreme Pizza and 9 fried chicken legs. The pizza came out fairly quick and was very good. Crust was crispy and flavor was good, though it was really no different than any other supreme pizza. The chicken took quite a bit longer and I split them among three of their offered flavors: original, sweet chili and lemon pepper. The chicken was very well fried and came out piping hot. Flavors were ok. The sweet chili was the tastiest one. The dipping sauces they provided left a lot to be desired. Overall, I thought this place was very good. Aside from their more traditionally Asian menu items, I think the "fusion" part stayed more on the pages of the menu than getting into the flavors. But....I have no complaints and would definitely come back.

Was great! had combo special with my gf here around 24bux.. includes pizza 12 wings, salad n a pitcher of soft drink, chicken wings was awesome, crispy n with a kik in flavor... Pizza was ggreat. Had the potato wedge pizza special white sauce was sweet n tangy but a little too vegitarian for me. Their chicken reminds me of chicken bonchon. A little pricy but serving size r big for 2 ppl, had left overs, gotto go back to try some bogogi....

Went here to get friend chicken and pizza multiple times. I'm quite familiar with Korean food so were kind of expecting the kind of food I'm getting. I highly recommend their fried chicken (sweet garlic flavor) and the Potato Wedge Pizza (with extra white sauce on the side). If you are ordering for multiple people, you can get a whole fried chicken and ask them to put half and half in 2 different boxes so they are not all crowded in 1 box. Their Potato Wedge Pizza reminds me so much of this White Pizza I used to order in Korea. I also got my family to try this and they loved it as well. The only advice I have on the fried chicken is that it tends to be good sometimes and then really dry a few times. I don't know what happened and if it just happened to be a different cook for that time but out of the 6 times I've ordered chicken from them, 2 were really dry. It's still really flavorful and nice but were just a bit dry to be considered good. Their staff have always been nice. Parking can be a pain at times. The best way is to find street parking right in front of the restaurant or along the street. There are about 10 - 20 parking spots along that small section of street near the restaurant. If you absolutely can not find parking in the front, there are stores all around it so there should be parking lots at the back. The environment inside is quite nice. I always do pick up and always try to avoid dinner times. I usually go in late afternoon and the restaurant were never full. The most I saw was 2 tables of customers. Not sure if I'm just going at a slow time or what but their food is good. If you are ordering for more than 1 - 2 ppl, I would recommend the combos.

This place was surprisingly pretty good. The waiter was super attentive! We ordered half bbq chicken and half potato wedge or something like that... We got half sweet potato stuffed crust and half cheese. Both were amazing but i was leaning towards the potato one. We also got some chicken wings (spiciest level) and it was soo good. Im more of a wings person than pizza person. Wings were the best thing on the menu!

Went on a Thursday and got the Thursday dinner combo. For $24, you get a 2-litre soda, a salad, a Bulgogi Pizza and 12 wings. We were able to choose 3 flavors: Soy Garlic, Chili Garlic & Lemon Pepper. The chicken wings are more deeply fried than I would like, but they are fairly tasty, especially Soy Garlic. Although you don't get too much bulgogi on the pizza, it's definitely there by aroma & taste. It's a pretty good pizza. I would go back to give it another chance.

Great hang out place! Very friendly and up beat service. First time here with friends and wanted to check out this place for awhile and finally tried. We ordered the family combo which included a salad, fried chicken with a choice of 2 flavor, medium pizza of your choice and 2 litter of any soft drink of you choice. We picked Cajun and garlic. The fried chicken is crispy and a little spicy. I love it. I don't usually order any fried stuff, but it is too good that I need to have it! We had the bulgolgi pizza which is k fusion pizza, very different but good. Will recommend anyone to try it if they are first time there. Since we have 4 ppl, we ordered another Korean street food dish the spicy fish cake with rice cake. I love it. The family combo is more then enough to feed four under $30. Great value! I will definitely go back and try other dishes!

Decided to try this place with a couple of friends and, on paper, the menu sounded great. However, the execution was a different story. I ordered the soy-garlic popcorn chicken and my girlfriend ordered the duk bok ki. The chicken was not as tasty as I was hoping. I expected a certain Kyochon-ish flavor and it did not live up to that. My girlfriend was not a fan of what she ordered either. She was expecting a level of spicy and it turned out to be too sweet. Overall, not really impressed with this place.

No hype to this place, which I like. Nice to see an establishment like this in Arcadia, no more drives out of the SGV for Korean inspired pizza and fried chicken. Friendly staff, just make sure they write your order down before they forgot (probably had a new hire serve us). Love to get drunk and food-drunk here. Never had a long wait for a table, but do expect a little long wait for the food, it's worth it though. Memorable mentions: Bulgogi Supreme Pizza Sweet Garlic Chicken (premium fried) Dislikes: Ddukbokki

Stopped in at around 11pm with the boyfriend after a movie. So happy they were open late, place was pretty empty. We tried the following: Bulgogi Pizza - pretty good, but I've had better. Couldn't really taste the actual bulgogi-- tasted more like your typical "works" pizza with small amounts of meat. Wish there was more bulgogi on it! Wings (Soy Garlic) - Yummmmyyyy. Pretty over-battered, but I loved the crispiness, and we totally chose a good flavor. I think they also have a Sweet Garlic, Cajun... check the menu. Definitely gotta come back to try the other chicken flavors as well as hit up the bar. They also offer a family pack that's pretty inclusive (comes with several items plus drinks to share). Service was great, attentive, friendly, and not over-bearing. Bonus points for the TVs and playing sports highlights (our fave). Cool & local spot! I'll be back.

I am a fan because it is close by, bigger, and it's just as good as Pizza & Chicken Love Letter in Rowland Heights. They have the same combos like Pizza & Chicken Love Letter. I think the prices are relatively the same. We ordered the Combo. It came with: Salad: Typical Korean Chicken place style salad with corn and light thousand island dressing. Pizza - we got bulgogi - good but I wish is was a little more crispy. Crust was good, better than the other places I've tried. It was lighter, didn't make it seem as heavy after one piece. Whole fried chicken - we got sweet garlic - it was yummy! Soda - they gave us coke in a pitcher versus other places would give the whole 2-liter so if you don't finish they let you take it home. Service - good, the place was not packed when we were there. Parking might be a challenge, we only saw street parking. You might miss this place, it's on Huntington Drive, pass the Santa Anita Race tracks, pass Santa Anita, right before CHASE Bank, going EAST. Will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! If you don't want to go to K-Town for some Soy Garlic Chicken... this is the place. If you want a spot where they're playing your favorite sport games, This Spot Is It. Honestly I came here two times in two days because the Soy Garlic Chicken Wings were the bomb. I went to the Philippines one time and they had this awesome soy garlic chicken sauce... double fried in sweet soy goodness. I haven't found anything similar even it's comparable restaurants here in the States! I would say this is the first time I have Soy Garlic Chicken Wings as I did when I went overseas that one spring long ago. A nice spot to take your friends or a casual date (it's nothing too serious but it's just enough for a I'm still getting to know you phase) Plus it's a fusion restaurant done right... I tried their Bulgogi pizza as well. I must say it's a classy savory pizza with just enough Grilled Marinated Beef to let your taste buds know... This is Something New. The service is alright! I wouldn't rave about it but it's the Chicken Wings that do it for me.

I had the tacos. Everything was good, not blow your mind, but really good. The tvs were a bit unnerving though it was the UCLA basketball game against Florida and there were some big fans so the tvs could've been set for them, Ill be back. Im actually looking forward to trying something else! UPDATE: Increase to FIVE STAR: We went back two nights later, this is the only place we've been to twice this trip. This time we got the signature chicken leg plate with hot sweet garlic sauce and Dak Do Ri Tang. Both were solid! I would have to say when you go you need to get the K-food and some fusion item. The service was great despite being visibly slammed. If you order the Dak Do RI Tang watch out for bones!

Average is all I can say. Decor was trendy, food was okay. I got lemon garlic popcorn chicken which was very greasy. Salad was good, sweet potato fries were also greasy not crispy. Also ordered sweet garlic wings. They had good flavor but greasy too . Might not be back..,,

I love how the workers are super friendly! :) Their food is yummy!! Chicken has a crispy outside and very flavorful! The pizza is also crispy, yum! All their flavors are on point and food is fresh and hot when served. This is my second time here, and I would totally come back again! :)

It was aight experience for me. Food wasn't the greatest, but it's just me. Nothing was wrong with the staff, but I wasn't a fan of the Korean music. It's is a Korean restaurant, so I should have expected that. Overall it was a cool experience.

The little boy behind the counter taking our order was rude. Rushing us on our order even though there was no one else inside this crappy restaurant. This place was recommended by a friend and it is delicious!!! We ordered bbq chicken pizza, bulgogi pizza, soy garlic chicken wings and sweet chili chicken wings. All were cooked in 20 to 30 minutes when they were not busy. The place has a nice ambiance, like a sports bar. Asian fusion type. Everything was tasty. We ordered to go, so don't know how wait staff is on a busy night, but that empty night, the guy was nice. Would definitely come back for awesome pizza! It's a great alternative to California Pizza Kitchen and Wing Stop.

3.5 Its a sports bar... But with Korean fried chicken and Korean pizza. Lots of TVs. Good place to hang out. Food 3 The chicken is really good. I would go for the chicken. The pizza I didn't like. It was worth a try, but I thought the white sweet, sauce on top was strange. Ambience 4 The place is nice bright and clean. The booths are comfortable and lots of tvs everywhere. Service 3.5 The service was just okay. It wasn't quick, but it wasn't slow. I have no complaints but I have no compliments either. I would be back for the chicken.

Searching for some new restaurants around my area, I accidentally found out that Hot n Sweet Chicken has been opening since 2012 and is earning quite some love from our local folks. As a result, I decided to stop by and seek for any possible food harmony from them. When we stepped inside the restaurant, our waiter gracefully welcomed us with a big smile on his face. Even though the time of our admittance is exactly 15 mins before closing, the waiter does not show any glimpses of grouchiness as our admittance inevitably extends his working hours for the day. So according to his recommendations, we ordered a medium-sized Bulgogi Pizza and pairs it with the gargantuan, 6 pcs. of Sweet Garlic Chicken Legs. The Bulgogi Pizza, though tasty, is not as what we had expected. The flavors from the mozzarella cheese unfortunately overwhelms the distinct flavors of the bulgogi, making the taste less appealing. Albeit its downside on flavors, the pizza itself does have some upsides. First, the pizza is amazingly light and certainly one could consume more than 3 slices before he/she starts to feel a little satisfied. Then, came the pizza crust. It's not as crunchy as I have predicted, but rather scrumptiously chewy, a very good texture overall. Should the pizza be compared to Pizza Hut's, the former would be my choice as the better tasting pizza. The Sweet Garlic Chicken Legs, on the other hand, possess decent qualities as the sweet garlic sauce, together with chopped scallions and fried chicken legs, create an unique texture that resembles those of Panda's laudable orange chicken. With chopped scallions scattered across the dish, those green thiol-possessing vegetables add a sweet-tasting crunchiness that bolsters the taste overall. As for my first visit, Hot n Sweet Chicken is certainly not bad as a newbie around the town. Their attentive services, combined with decent Chicken and pizzas, have collectively earn my possible return in the near future. A good tip of advice: the portions are a bit huge here, so I'd recommend this place for big parties who would like to have a tailgate or something.

Finally got the chance to try this place after driving by it so many times. Ordered the Bulgogi Family combo. Comes with Bulgogi pizza, whole fried chicken (sweet and garlic), side salad, and a 2 liter soda of choice. This place is really modern, with plenty of tv's to watch sports or music videos that they play. Food came shortly after ordering. The salad is pretty much just shredded cabbage with thousand island. Simple yet tasty. Bulgogi pizza was pretty regular in my opinion. Tastes like pizza you can get anywhere. Fried chicken was pretty good. The sweet and garlic sauce is savory. Price is decent when you get the special deals of the day or the combinations. Service was good, waitress and waiter came by often to check up on us.

Unsatisfactory. Waited too long for our food considering it wasn't a busy night, about 5 other parties there. Had to remind the waiter to bring cups, then our coke, then napkins, then spoons- you get the idea. We never got our water refilled btw. The pizza dough was weak, soggy- hard to eat without the slice folding. Why did they put mayo in the sweet potato crust?? The jambalaya was like a lazy mushy fried rice, so not worth $15. Fried chicken was okay- the skin is crispy and the flavors are good but white meat pieces were very dry. Service here is friendly but slow. They need to work out the kinks and get the basics right. No return for me to see if it works out as food was just too underwhelming. I knew Love Letter couldn't be beat. Wish I could go there now for redemption.

I've been here more than a couple of times and always wanted to review it on Yelp. I have to say, this place is amazing! I loooooove chicken legs & wings, and their selection of flavors to choose from is quite delicious. I also feel that they do a great job pairing the chicken with some salad and other assorted vegetables...it's a nice touch. Also, the quality of service is always great! The server guys are warm, friendly, and once we had a guy who was so enthusiastic about sports (namely football) that it was just very nice to hear him connect with us about it. Would highly recommend this place!

Korean chicken and pizza in Arcadia! Of course we have to give this place a try. First impression walking into the restaurant was that the owners spent $$ decorating the place. The decor is charming with reds and brickwalls, lots of flat screen, and dark furniture. Now on with the food, I've tried korean pizza before and I've had better. I'm not much of a pizza person anyways, so I didn't find the sweet potato pizza that special. The sweet garlic wings were very good though...crispy and flavorful. I think they must have read the previous yelp reviews because the wings were cooked perfectly. The wings were so good, that the next day I was craving some more and asked my hubby for a take out order of just wings. There's family meals, and some side dishes that you can order a la carte, in case you don't like chicken or pizza. The service was very good, the ladies came by and checked up on us, making sure everything was ok. This place is a great addition to the Arcadia area, so we can satisfy those wing cravings.

Chicken good. service was really bad.went yesterday sept 12, a FRIDAY NIGHT. at least 30 min to wait for food. waiters never came back ro check if we needed refills on drinks or sauce. Only 2 waiters on a busy night! Really!?! They were mixing drinks too !!! Appetizers came out late and cold. Mentioned it to the waiter but ignored it. Would love to go back but they need to staff better on a busy friday night. Anticipate please!!

Just tried this restaurant. Glad my friend saw it as we drive by this restaurant a lot. I got the chicken wings plate, sweet and spicy garlic. Really delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes. The place is relatively new and I hope they get more customers.

omg this place has the best chicken!!! I guess this place is owned by Korean because they have toppoki and bulgogi stuffs.Their chicken is even better than kyochon which was my favorite :p It has very light batter and has a lot of flavors! Bulgogi pizza with royal crust we got was so delicious too!!! I can tell they use fresh cheese. We'll definitely come back :D p.s. their waiter is the best server. He is reallly friendly and funny!

I drove by the place, and told my nephew, hey lets try that spot... It was pretty damn good! We tried the tacos, patatoe wedges, and chicken, salad, and some beers.... Our waiter was cool, and showed great service!! And we watched some of the Laker game.. Cant wait to go back and try the rest of the food, like the pizza....

Food rating - 4 stars Service - 2 stars I wish yelp had 2 rating systems ... one for food and one for service... I personally like the supreme pizza the best. (compared to the bugolgi and sweet potato) I'm sort of let down by the bugolgi as I can barely taste it in the pizza. The supreme is definitely more flavorful. Crust is thin and has a slight crunch toppings seem fresh and love that they put pineapples in it. The wings are good/filling. They are not the typical wings where the bone to meat ratio is lacking. They are meaty and crispy. My favorite is the sweet garlic (mild). Corn Cheese (with no mayo) - The waitress was really confused when we requested the corn cheese with no mayo (I'm not a fan of mayo). She had to go ask the kitchen if it was possible and came back saying it is but they don't recommend it as it won't taste as good. We ordered it anyways and were pleasantly surprised. I don't know what they were talking about but it tasted just fine to us. They also put pineapple chunks in it! Service ... is hit or miss. I've had good experiences and other times it takes 15-20 mins to give us 1 cup of water when there were maybe 3-4 other tables occupied. There is typically no wait here ... at times we were the only ones in the place at around 6-7pm. On a side note ... they have plenty of TVs but quality on them aren't great...

I love their K-Tacos! Actually, I was checking on the menu there was no dessert. I then asked the girl and she gave me a free dessert! OMG! Best Service!

We went there after the closing day at Santa Anita (6/29/2014). Within 5 minutes from the track, we parked on the street but noticed they have parking in the back. Our party ordered the K-tacos with bulgogi beef, large bulgogi pizza and chicken wings with sweet chili sauce. Five stars for the tacos and chicken wings. The pizza was good even for a person who doesn't care for thin crust. The wings were crispy, tasty and meaty compared to Wingstop and either Q or Cho Chon. The tacos were filled with bulgogi beef and tasty. The sweet chili didn't have the overwhelming garlic aroma and seasoning like most K-wings but they do have garlic seasoned wings which we didn't order. Service was very good, decent beer selection including Stella on draft and roomy which would be good for families. We would definitely eat there again after watching the ponies run.

Ate here on a Sunday evening...the place was completely empty. There was a fly buzzing around our table which was probably due to the food on the walls. The waiter/host that sat us was very friendly or maybe just bored. The place didn't seem very clean; my boyfriend noticed a lot of dust on the air conditioning vent. He also noticed the chef going in and out from the closed kitchen, continuing to touch the door knob, his cell phone and then our food. We received a complimentary "salad" which was coleslaw mix, corn and thousand island dressing. We ordered the Cheese Corn appetizer which was interesting...cheese, mayo and corn with pineapple and ham. I had the K Tacos and they were good but a little light on the meat. BF had the jambalaya which had decent flavor but was a little too watery. It was an okay experience but we probably won't be back.

The fried chicken is reminiscent of the chicken in korea. The fusion style pizzas also has alot of flavors that work well. The wait time used to be long but now they've gotten much faster. Service is good. Anytime we crave fried chicken we try to go here.

Ambiance, location are good but i wish I had a better food. Today having a great expectation, i was here to give it a try. I ordered the 12pc chicken wings with medium hot garlic sauce. The portion was huge, the sauce was tasty. And the pickled radish and salad which were alongside the main were Korean style. But the chicken itself was way harder to chew. The meat couldn't be separated from the bones. After eating, i went to restroom frequently to wash my sticky hands. However, i was really happy that the ktown style pub has been opened.

These wings are the best in the area. We ordered the wings and pizza combo and it was tasty. The wings I believe are exceptional yet the pizza fell a little flat for us. The pizza crust was wonderful with a nice crispness on the outside and good chew overall, yet the cheese tasted a little processed and the tomato sauce had no tang. The meat topping of bulgogi was indeed delicious. It was our first time there and our server recommended the soy garlic wings and sweet garlic, both winners in my book. We will definitely be back in for another plate full of crispy wings.

I came to ordered pizza to go with a friend. The waiter was very friendly and pretty outgoing. The setting of the place is nice except the light is quite dim. Their pizzas tasted very good. I would definitely come back to try their other pizzas.

Had the single person plate. Its was okay... the food took a while to come out. The fried chicken itself was pretty good. Although I ordered cajun, the chicken wasnt close to that. It was closer to boba milk tea places fried chicken flavoring, except with actual chicken legs. The plate came with a scoop of rice, some sweet potato fries and a salad with no dressing. It was 10 bucks for the plate. Wasn't full after it.

LOCATION: on the main street of Huntington Drive, a little past Santa Anita, before 1st street. PARKING: street parking; unsure if there is a private back lot. AMBIANCE: Avg noise. Good for groups. DRESS CODE: Casual MENU OPTIONS: Chicken wings, Korean, Pizza ORDERED: - sweet potato pizza (crust is too thick, didnt like the chunks of sweet potato. thought the dough wouldve consisted of the sweet potato) - chicken wings (batter was awful!!!! took one bite and didnt eat more. quality was not up to par). the sauces were ok. - popcorn chicken (batter was a bit soggy and the flavor not impressive). - dduk bok ki (korean dish w rice cake, fish cake & ramen) - the best dish I ordered, however the quality was not as great as actual korean restaurants. SERVICE: Good. A bit stingy on the napkins. PRICE: Avg price $12pp. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: for the quality of food... i think that high school and college kids would enjoy it. but for adults who thrive to enjoy their food, pass this place up! not worth the money or the time. Food: 1/5 stars Service: 3/5 stars Venue: 4/5
