Very good food. Beef Pa-Nang, excellent and spicy (yum). Prices are decent. Try the ribs. I haven't had this much meat on ribs. Please give it a try.

I recently had lunch here, and it was good, but nothing TOO special, other than the prices. I had the chicken pad thai, and my boyfriend had the red curry with chicken. Both were perfect sized portions for lunch and were only $5.99!!! Bargain. Especially since their lunch specials are for the whole day, nit just lunch. The pad thai was great, but so is the pad thai from a lot of places. I wouldn't say that it's my favorite ever, but it's up there. My boyfriend say the red curry was okay, but nothing special at all. Either way, I will be back if I'm in the area and in the mood for thai! Cheap and tasty/filling? count me in

My boyfriend and I grabbed lunch here the other day because who doesn't like thai food :) I thought the place was small but cozy. Almost intimate which was a nice feeling. I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice because I always order this at every single thai restaurant I go to. And I thought it was REALLY good. Definitely one of the better ones I have tasted. There was a spicy under layer to it which was awesome. They were generous with the portion too. My boyfriend ordered some sort of Tom Yum soup which was good but I thought was missing something. He ended up dumping a whole bunch of spicy stuff to it which made it infinitely better so maybe it was just missing a kick. I thought it was good and probably wouldn't mind coming back if I was in the area. 3/5

I personally enjoy hitting up the Thai spot down the street right off Euclid more, but if I don't have cash on hand and don't feel like taking out money, You & I is my default spot because they take card. I also kinda like eating here 'cause it opens later than the other place and the food is nice and greasy which is perfect right before a night of heavy drinking :9 They serve heaping portions at a reasonable price. Plus, it comes out piping hot which is great for pretty much everyone but myself. I hate my food piping hot. If I could, I would eat all my food at room temperature or refrigerator temperature which would probably lead to food poisoning. Although, after 22 years of eating cold/lukewarm food, I haven't gotten sick... YET. Yeah, the place is kinda dirty but I had the real deal in Thailand. And if you're Asian, you should be pretty desensitized to dirty establishments anyway.

Food arrived within 26 minutes of ordering from EAT 24.. Free delivery within 3 mile radius with minimum $15 before tax. I ordered regular Pad Thai and Garlic&pepper Pork with fried rice (extra $1) and drink. 10% tip, everything came out to less than $20. Lunch was definitely smaller portion. Pad Thai wasnt the best I've had. But it's close to work, and when I can't drive out to get it, it's fast free delivery!

I went here with two friends on a Monday night, with it being moderately crowded inside. [seafood hotpot] This comes with assorted seafood in one of those hotpot type dishes where there is butane inside. Flavors were good, but we didn't notice till later that they forgot to light to the butane, which explained why the broth was lukewarm in retrospect. [special - grilled chicken and red peanut sauce] This is 3 skewers of flattened chicken with a red peanut sauce on it and a bowl of rice.. The red peanut sauce I am guessing is peanuts and a tad of red curry. Flavor wise, the sauce could have used more chili and salt to up to heat and taste. The problem with this dish was that there was no salad or no balance to the entree besides the chicken. It actually seemed more like an appetizer. Now if I did make the mistake of just ordering an appetizer, the waiter should have informed me of what I was ordering. [service] On a Monday night it seemed woefully understaffed. We had to flag down the staff just to get our check and any service. [overall] This restaurant really needs to work on describing their specials better, their service, and more care on their flavors for their bland sauces. Bland sauces and thai food is no good in my book.

Best thing about this place is that you can get the $6 lunch specials any time of day, despite what the menu says! There's a whole list of them, curries and satay and noodles and whatever you're looking for. It's cheaper than getting a burger, and good food. I will say, I really dislike the chicken here for some reason (I think it tastes really overcooked/reheated), so I usually get shrimp or veggies, but my husband doesn't know what I'm talking about and no one else has ever complained

Vegetarian Friendly and great customer service. They pretty much know me here. They know what to put and what not to put in my food. Great tasting food and clean location. Love it! In fact, I am having a delivery order right now.

You & I Thai offers a greater variety of dishes than nearby Special Thai or Fa-Sai (although they are all pretty good). They usually have a good amount of people dining in the evenings, whether on weekends or weekdays. I highly recommend dining in so that you may experience their soup in the hot pot. I've also ordered from the lunch menu which offers a choice of a simple entree, rice, and side salad for $5.95. Some of the dishes that I've tried are: THUMBS UP: *Spicy Shrimp Coconut Soup *Spicy Seafood Salad - very delicious! *Roasted Duck Curry - only a few select thai restaurants offer this dish *Gulf of Siam - delicious spicy seafood dish *Soft Shell Crab Black Pepper - haven't seen this anywhere else; fresh pepper stems! *Catfish with Chili Sauce SIDEWAYS THUMB: *Mint Chicken - simple chicken and basil dish *Dearest Couple (Poo Jar) - 2 giant fried meatballs *Thai Beef Boat Noodle - similar to vietnamese bun bo hue, but not as good THUMBS DOWN: *Pink Noodles - I could not stomach the vinegar broth. They gladly exchanged it.

Sitting here using their free wifi after ordering their lunch special, which is apparently good all day. The garlic and pepper dish with tofu (substituted) is the bomb. It reminds me of the wonderful lunches I used to get in Thai-town. Crunchy deep fried tofu with a peppery crunchy covering, salad, and rice less than $7. Their Thai iced tea is not too sweet but had a lot of ice. Service is really good and pleasant here. I did order a large to go order a couple of months ago and the food, especially the Pad See Yew was so flavorful but it also had a rubber band in it. One star off for that.

I was forced to choose between Pho and Thai (and I was really craving Pho - hangover). You know why Thai won? Because of that huge yellow banner that says $5.95 lunch special served ALL DAY! What great advertising.. We both ordered from the lunch specials, of course. I decided on Pad Thai because it was the only noodle dish. The boyfriend ordered some chicken/rice dish that looked pretty appetizing. The Pad Thai wasn't bad. I'd say the only reason I'd come here is for their cheap lunch specials. Pictures provided! Before walking in, it looked like it was going to be a fast food type joint. Plastic tables, folding chairs, etc. However, there are actual booths on the side and nice carpet, waiter service, etc. So all in all, the food isn't over the top amazing but you get what you pay for. I had a nice, quiet lunch with the boyfriend and still had some leftover. Probably won't be back but I'm glad I tried it!

The restaurant is clean and decor was new but not tacky. Lighting was soft and warm, and there was no funny/stale smell in the air. We arrived at the restaurant late, but we were still greeted with friendly service. We both ordered Pad Thai, and the serving was large enough that I had leftovers. I thought the noodle to the dish was a bit overcooked, therefore it was overly mushy. It was a bit too sweet, but it was at acceptable level. I still enjoyed the dish though. My companion also ordered a small serving of Tom Yum soup, and there was plenty of veggies/shrimp floating in the bowl. We both left the restaurant full. It was a decent enough place for a date with casual atmosphere. I would definitely return in the future to try out more food.

This a great place to have some good thai food. Pad See-ew and curries were quite tasty, and would recommend these two, if you're having difficulty deciding what to order. Between the two, my favorite was the Pad See-ew. The food portions are decent for a fair price. This place looked clean and quite nice. I would definitely come back to this place to have some more of good, tasty thai food.

I know - cheesy name for a restaurant right? But I am telling you, this Thai place was a surprising discovery. Love the food, the price and the friendly service. Awesome shrimp wraps and shrimp fried rice. See a pattern here? What can I say, I am a shrimp head.

Not a fan of this place. Pad Thai lunch was below par. I believe that Thai Spice is the best Pad Thai in OC!

3.5 Stars Panang Curry Lunch Special. Meat was pretty good 4 Stars. Curry was AOK, not the best but not bad at all. Salad dressing was nice. For $6.50 this is a great deal and I would do it again. Really nice staff and easy parking. You can stop by Ten Ren and get matcha green tea for dessert!

For such a super cheap, hole-in-the-wall, low-end strip mall Thai restaurant, this place is really quite good. The food is tasty and the service is acceptable. I've eaten here three times, and I was satisfied each time. Good enough to make it a regular place for my Thai food fix.

First time here trying something new, idk if they are busy or just short of staff waited 15 mins to be asked if i was waiting for my food, upon ordering i also asked for water if been about 30 mins my water just arrived..food was ok tasted frozen to me no flavor to the meat.

This place really surprised me with how good it is. They have the best Pad See Ew I've had anywhere, and their green curry rivals my previous favorite green curry from Thai Gourmet in Long Beach.... the jury's still out on which one is better. What is definitely better than any other thai restaurant I've been to is their prices! I can't believe how reasonable their prices are. Especially their lunch specials. I'm used to paying over $10 for a family style entree, and theirs are more around $7! I get the feeling that other places are charging WAAAAY more than the cost to make it. I like this place to eat in or for take out. Everyone's nice and the food is fabulous. The only downside is I once found a hair in my food.. but that really can happen anywhere I think. So how much do I really like it? Well, I almost cried one time when I spilled my leftover green curry all over the floor and had to throw it away before my friends huskies licked it all up and got upset stomachs. :(

The lunch specials are a steal here! And they have a good variety of options. My parents and I shared the sate beef lunch special with an order of pad thai and the spicy beef salad. Sate beef was pretty good. Grilled well and the peanut sauce on the side was nice and thick. Pad thai was ok, a bit oily. Noodles were a bit soft. But my hunger was ravenous during that time, so I didn't notice much. The spicy beef salad came with more beef then salad! It was drenched in sauce and a bit too tart and salty in my opinion. It would have possibly been better if we had more salad to absorb the overwhelming taste. It wasn't too spicy though. Service was ok. They were a bit busy, so our orders came out a bit slow. And the food didn't come together. So we were completely done with the pad thai before the rest of our dishes came. Reasonable prices...I think I'd come back. Plus they have yummy food options in the same strip mall complex (Ten Ren's and Lee's sandwiches!)

Would love to give negative stars on this. I called at 9:01pm to place an order for delivery. The extremely rude person that answered the phone first of all doesn't even answer the phone with where I am calling just hello. Like I am calling his personal phone. I tell him I would like to place an order for delivery and he just said no we don't do that we stop at 9. Ok well first off it was 1 miniute after 9. And then the rudeness of hanging up on me. I was just going to place the order for me to pick up. Guess they really don't want business!!! O well I'll get dinner for the 8 of us from somewhere else. Their lost, I now will never go back here. I hope the owner of this place reads this and gets to see how his joke of employees treat thier customers.

I am just so surprised that the ratings for this Thai restaurant aren't higher. It's located in a plaza with 99 Ranch Market along with other Asian eateries. Convenient location with ample parking. Went here with not much expectation based on the reviews but Wow, the food was amazing. I must say it's one of the best Thai restaurants I've tried in Orange County. My hubby and dad would both concur. My hubby is not really a fan of Thai food, but he was impressed with the food here. We ordered the green chicken curry, Thai BBQ chicken, and Gulf of Siam with basil. All 3 dishes were delicious. The seafood was so fresh. The portions were huge, unlike other Thai restaurants, and the price was very reasonable. They gave us so much food we had leftovers for the next two meals the following day. Love, love this place. I am definitely a fan and will be returning soon. Cannot wait to try their Pad Thai and Tom Yum Noodle soup.

We've been coming here many years and we love the place. To be honest, the food quality is a little better than some other places, but the atmosphere is great to feel comfortable when you sit down. The service is great to wonderful. I would recommend this place to everyone who like Thai food. The food + the customer service and the cleanliness exceed my expectations so I will give this place 5/5 Stars.

Yo yo, it's the New Year 2011!! Back from the gym and needed to feed this body of heaven. Got to do my first 2011 Yelp review routine. Ended up at You and I Thai Cuisine. Word to yo, mutha!! *Cue the smoke and back up dancers* Service - Good. Cleanliness - Excellent - Health Board of Orange County gave it a "Passed" Price - $9.95 (includes tax) Seafood - Yes, shrimp, salmon, fish, squid, mussels, crab Meats - Beef, pork, chicken Vegetables - Yes Dessert - n/a Fruits - n/a Other - (1) Located near the 99 Ranch Market. (2) Free parking in large private lot. (3) Cash and Credit Cards are accepted here. (4) Free delivery with minimum order of $15 and within 3 miles radius. What was ordered: Thai Iced Tea ($1.50) - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 Stars) - Thai tea, evaporated milk, sugar (lots of it!!), and ice. Served up in a 20 oz mug. Nice creamy whiteness from the upper portion of the mug and dark Thai tea on the bottom portion. Stir it up and you get that beautiful orange color. It tasted sweet and very good--great palate cleanser when you have the Thai Beef Boat Noodle. Thai Beef Boat Noodle ($6.25) - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 Stars) - Rare beef, beef balls, noodles in spicy soup dressed with scallions, bean sprouts, and bits of tripe. You can choose the noodle type: (1) Thin rice noodles, (2) Thick rice noodles, (3) Egg noodles, or (4) Clear noodles. Like a bulldozer, let me break it down for you ... *Spicy Broth - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 stars) - The bowl was 7 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height. The broth had a deep brown (almost muddy waters) color. It was a bit thicker in consistency than most broths--slightly stew-ish texture. You get a really earthly flavor and the spiciness kicks in at the end. The spiciness does not make your head throb, but makes your nose perspire and run a bit. *Beef Balls - A-Ok (3 stars) - 2 beef balls cut in half. These are typical beef balls that you can get at any Asian supermarket. In my opinion, all these prepackaged beef balls look and taste the same. So nothing spectacular here, but it's always nice to get extra protein. *Rice Noodles - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 stars) - I chose the thin rice noodles. They give you a fair amount of noodles and they are cooked al dente. It was good that the spicy broth was thick in nature. This allowed the broth to easily cling onto the rice noodles. So every bite was spicy, beefy flavor explosions. *Rare Beef - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 stars) - I was actually compiling all the beef together to see how much they gave me. There was approximately 10 oz of rare beef--I was quite surprised and very happy. The beef was cooked in varied degrees of doneness--some completely and others well-medium. Either way, the beef did not melt like butter, but was quite easy to chew and tasted great. *smoke clears and John L reappears riding on the hood of a yellow Buick Regal driven by Betty White* Yo Yo, I'm back from You and I Thai Cuisine!! My stomach has expanded and is a bit obscene. I must say "Yay! I'm a fan!" Whoa, did you see Betty White's cans?! Thai Love 4 eva!!! Word 2 yo, mutha!!

This is our go-to place when we're craving Thai, because it's pretty good food and it's near our house. There is a waitress there with a short bob cut that is our favorite! She always knows where we like to sit, and she's attentive and great. The food is pretty good too! Portions are a decent size, and if you order over $40, you get a free shrimp fried rice! (print the coupon from their website). We always get the orange chicken, beef salad, pad thai, pad see ew, and tom yum soup (to die for and perfectly seasoned!) I would have given it a strong 4 stars, but my boyfriend found a staple in his orange chicken. But we still come back because....the food's good!

From the bottom of my heart, I promise that I will write the truth. My family and I entered he restaurant around 8:45pm and received our food at 9:30pm maybe. I ordered Crying Tiger (rare cooked) with brown rice. When I received my food, it came very well done with sticky rice. I accepted the Crying Tiger the way it was but asked for the brown rice. When it came out I immediately noticed the smell then tasted it. Luckily my parents are great chefs and they knew for sure that the food was spoiled. They told me that what probably happened was the rice was cooked during lunch and then covered for dinner. All the moisture spoiled the rice. We politely told the waiter about the issue. As I am writing this review, I'm feeling this stomach illness coming down on me...I love Thai food and this restaurant has a few good plates but I just had a bad experience. P.S the crying tiger here is in a really small portion. I suggest you go to Coconut Bay for a real Crying Tiger dish. They know what's up!!!

Tried this place out, because our usual Thai place was closed on Memorial Day. It was amazing and they do not kid around with the spice. I ordered the pad se ew with med spice. It was excellent! Prices are average, not pricey at all. I paid $7.05 and the lunch specials are even a better price.

Came here for lunch today and it was terrible compared to the last time I've been here. Ordered pad thai and it was nothing like it should've been. It was very yellow with no peanuts and flavor that just tasted like egg yolk. Also, my friend ordered the pad see ew and that didn't taste like much at all either. Must've just been a bad day to go there, I hope. Service was good and they gave me BBQ chicken instead.

My go-to place for Thai food! The portions are HUGE and the prices are very reasonable! My friend and I shared a pineapple fried rice and a pad see ew. We both had plenty of leftovers to take home :). I also came here with a group of ~20 people for a birthday dinner. They gave us free mango sticky rice desserts!!

Luckily for us, Nory's down the street was closed, and I remembered about this Thai place I saw a few weeks ago, and voila, here I am. This quaint restaurant is situated in the 99 Ranch Supermarket plaza which also has a Yogurtland, where you can stroll over when you are done with your meal (if you have enough room for it, that is...) It's kind of hard to find this place, but it's in the very back of the plaza. The sign is kind of hard to read, but it is the only Thai restaurant here. The inside is adorned with pictures from Thailand, various Thai artwork and pieces, and has red seats. It's very cozy and has plenty of seating. It also has a really nice glass water fountain as you enter. From the outside, you can see pictures of their food and also a banner that reads $5.95 lunch specials all day. They have your typical Thai fare cuisine. We ordered: + Chicken Pad Thai lunch special: came with a mound of steam rice, small salad, pad Thai + Spicy Chicken Soup (tom yum): chicken, mushrooms, lemongrass, tomatoes, herbs + Yellow Chicken curry lunch special: chicken curry, mound of rice, small salad Overall, the pad Thai was excellent. It was just the right size and was at a great price! It wasn't too flavorful, but it was good. It tasted like the other Thai places I've gone to, so I can't say it was the best. I've never seen steamed rice for pad Thai, thus it for our spicy chicken soup hotpot. The hotpot was huge and for again, a steal ~$7.25! Wow, it was delicious and it was a tad spicy, which I liked. It came with a generous amount of sliced chicken and the broth was fantastic. The soup went quite well with the rice or just by itself. If you go to other Thai places, they would charge you a dollar or two for just a bowl of rice, so I suggest getting a lunch special, which is offered all day now, and save yourself a couple of dollars. Finally, the yellow chicken curry may look small in its diminutive bowl, but don't let that fool you. It's really yummy and again, the portion size is just right. It's not creamy at all and you can taste the curry flavor coming out of the chicken with each bite. I really liked this restaurant. The service was great, the ambiance was wonderful, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Thai. I can't complain about the prices and it definitely is on one of my top Thai restaurants in OC.

Fresh food and service was good! Never really got to try this place out in the past because someone had told me bad things about it. But last night we were in the plaza and we didn't feel like driving to go eat so we tried it out. Decided to go with their salad which was the Glass Noodle Salad. It had the thin clear noodles, ground beef, tomato, cucumber, peanuts, lettuce and a slightly spicy dressing. It was really delicious. Something really different. My friends ordered the papaya salad which was also very good along with the Spaghetti Curry. Service was fairly quick and very courteous. The only reason why I dropped them to 4 stars is ambiance. The place was a bit old and their food wasn't enough to sway my mind from the poor condition of the place.

I really really hate writing overly critical reviews for mom & pops, but I gotta be honest, this place could use a few changes. Hubby liked it, but I didn't. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. The shrimp fried rice had a ton of shrimp, but was very very oily The panang curry was very rich (a little too rich) and had a rotting basil garnish. The curry bowl had a dried ring of curry around the inside, which I thought was strange/gross. The Yum Nau (spicy beef salad) had a lot of beef, but it lacked the tasty grilled flavor & was missing salad ingredients- lettuce & tomato! The beef was cut in very long & thick strips- too large for a salad- it didn't feel right. (I know everywhere does it differently) The dressing had a lot of fish sauce, and was not very tangy/flavorful/spicy. Although the service was friendly and there wasn't a long wait for food, the booth we sat in was clearly dirty & the booster seat my baby sat in looked like it had never been cleaned & was stored on the floor (extremely dirty). The cups, plates and silverware all had the same ick-factor. Although it was probably just build-up leftover from the hard water that flows through every Socal pipe, it was a yucky feeling to eat & drink from serving ware that didn't look clean. To add to that was the lighting. Hubby thought it was nice, setting the ambiance for a date night. But it was a stormy saturday at noon & way too dim in the restaurant for lunch. If they wiped down the walls in booths & got a water softener & new utensils/plates/cups, it would make a world of difference- that, and not using rotten basil. I would've given two stars, hubby three. I wanted to err on the side of generosity. But if cleanliness is important to you- get your food to go.

Ordered phad thai and fish cakes and Tea -honest;y the worst fish cakes i have ever tasted. They tasted like they used old stinky fish and the cakes were flat and burnt. Phad thai was just fried noodles with peanuts no real veggies like carrots ,onions, shallots, sweet radish and i got the fried tofu kind with egg. Didn't see any egg. so it was pretty nutritionally void. Thai Tea large is very large wich is geat but the only thing worth mentioning Not impressed couldn't eat the fish cakes even with the sauce.

Had the beef boat noodle soup and the poo jar. The beef boat noodle soup tasted like vietnamese pho to me. Except with the soup base, you could already taste the MSG... it was very flavorful though and there was a good amount of beef. The poo jar tasted like a fried pan cake. It says there's crab in it but you can't really taste it. It's mostly stuffing just crushed together. Not the best thai food but it isn't the worst.

I tried this spot based on the recommendation of a friend. The soup was fine, not steller, but certainly met my expectations. What has knocked off a star was the service. I got the waitress who just did not care... She was chatty with her co-workers, who had to prompt her to get back to work more than once. When I knew my soup was just sitting there ready to serve to me while getting cold, I tried to catch her eye to no avail. Her co-worker saw me and said something to her and sure enough there came the soup. Same thing for the to-go container and the bill. With so many choices, I'll pass.

Ok, so I've been to this place three times now and I enjoyed the food the first two times, and I don't even remember the service which probably means there was nothing great or bad about it. The third time was a totally different story! Omg the food was in the smallest portions ever and the guy that waited on us didn't say a single word while sitting us, or taking our order, or serving us, or when paying the bill! How is it possible for someone to not utter a single word while performing those services?! Totally unbelievable! We got to the point where we were going out of our way to say thank you and try to engage him to say something....but no....nothing. It was craziness. Then when we were leaving we heard him speak perfect English while answering the phone....so wtf?! Lol needless to say we will not be returning here unfortunately. It rained our whole meal which was meh!

This is my "go to" Thai food restaurant. I have ordered many different dishes and I have not been let down at all. The lunch special is tasty and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. I've had some of the different soups and they've all been very delicious. My one warning to you is that Thai food is spicy, if your stomach cannot take spicy food or exotic food then just be careful, but definitely try it. The service is very good, the staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating.

Simply disgusting. Why is it so hard to find good Thai food? I can assure you that You & I Thai is not good Thai food. I ordered pork wontons and beef pad see ewe. The pork wontons started out okay, but after a few of them I detected a "non-fresh" taste to the pork. It honestly tasted like they had been made up and sat for a week in the fridge and then tossed into the fryer. Gross. I ordered the Pad See Ewe spicy, and it had plenty of heat but no dimension of flavor. It was just all heat. I guarantee the broccoli and carrots were steamed or boiled separately and added to the wok at the end just to heat them up. They didn't have the crisp/fresh taste that comes with being stir-fried and were quite soft, borderline mushy. The veggies also had zero flavor. They give you a lot of food, but it still isn't worth it for $6.75. I ended up tossing it after a few bites.

Love this place! Its very tranquil inside, it makes for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy your meal. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced and they even deliver! Lunch meals have a wide variety of things to choose from and are proportioned just right and it goes great with Thai iced tea. The spicy chicken coconut soup always hits the spot.

Made a 20-30 minute trek to try this place this afternoon. The menu is definitely more expansive than your average Thai place, but I wanted to play it safe as a first-timer and so chose noob dishes (exhibit A: pad see ew). The prices here are pretty reasonable, especially the lunch special, which offers your choice of entree (curry, pad thai, etc.) with rice and salad for around $6. portion size: standard. taste: pretty much standard, which is a good thing! Everything was yummy; I don't think I've been to a crappy-tasting Thai place yet. To be nit-picky, the chicken in the curry dishes was pretty tough and dry. Being drenched in delicious sauce definitely amped it up, though. I really liked the texture of the thinly sliced bamboo shoots in the green curry, and my pad see ew with tofu was superb. I am a fan of this dish in general and You & I did not disappoint. I also realized that Thai tea tastes ABSOLUTELY THE SAME everywhere. Anyway. The service was a bit awkward as each table didn't have any kind of designated server, resulting in multiple individuals asking us if we were ready to order, what we wanted to drink, etc. Not a big deal at all, just observing, and all the staff were really nice so yay! The environment was very cozy and I found the little booths quite quaint (: Would come by a lot more if I lived in the area!

Good food, prices and service. I really like the pad see ew. If you are looking for a cheap and casual meal I would recommend giving it a try.

The food here used to be good (4 stars) but the last half year or so, the quality of food has gone down. Even when I ordered the exact dishes at different times, it always tasted a bit different. It has no consistency. And the food are not as flavorful as before.

Pros: * Portions - pretty generous. You'd better come hungry if you plan on ordering one entree per person. * Food Quality (dine-in) - The noodle dishes and their fried rice are GREAT. My only complaint is that they need to up the spiciness. * Ambiance - good for casual dining and it's pretty quiet in the evening. * Price - for two people; two entrees, two thai teas, one appetizer and an order of shrimp n' egg fried rice = $30. Pretty damn good for a sit down restaurant imo. Cons: * The Wait - people have mentioned this before and unfortunately i have to bring it up again. I realize that food takes a while to make but some of these wait times are kinda ridiculous at times. I can understand that certain entree's take some time to cook but I fail to see how it takes more than 15 minutes to get a round of water for 3 people in a nearly empty restaurant. This has happened on more than two occasions. * Spiciness - perhaps i wasn't specific. I want to sweat like I'm running for my life...i want to sweat like a husband who just got caught cheating on his wife...i wanna sweat like a teenage when he finds out the condom broke 10 minutes prior finishing... in short - I NEEDZ MOARRR SPICE.... * Location - seriously...wtf...I hate that i have to circle the lot like 10 times before finding a spot...that n' when i actually do find a spot i'm spend like 5 minutes trying to figure out how the person next to me thought taking two parking spots with his toyota was a 'good idea'. ****Overall**** - i'll be back because of the price...but i'm bringing as many things as i can to occupy the time inbetween when i walk through the door to when i get my food....

Like my friend and fellow yelper, Anna L, stated in her review this place had great Thai for cheap prices! Where can you go for 4 dishes and an appetizer for $26!!! With that great price and great eats also comes great customer service. Our waiter was very attentive and even gave us a "spicy dose" of Thai singing =D Don't let this spot go not noticed... located in a mostly Asian outdoor small shopping center is this bit of spicy paradise.

I've been here a number of times and have always forgotten to write them a review. Most of the time I haven't had much to say, but after this last experience I am compelled to give it a not-so-great review. Service is slow. The pad thai is all noodle and no goodies. (Don't mess up the pad thai, this is thai food for americans!!!!) The glass noodle salad is highly recommended though - if I came back this is probably the only thing I'd order again. The beef salad is boring and flavorless. The green curry is not spicy enough. Green curry should be spicy!!! They have decent lunch special deals though so I guess I can't complain that much.

  • Justin C.

It was alright, the food was good but to much mint in the Pad-Kee Mow, and I didnt like the small boba in the thai tea, Fai-sai thai on lincoln is better. They give you more for your money and dont just stick lettus or cabbage underneath to make it look like there giving you more which is what You & I does.

This is the first Thai place in OC that made we want to come back for more. They have the Beef Sate and Chicken Sate that I have been looking for that's all the way in Azusa. Cheap, delicious and nice casual seating. I do warn folks of the overly sweet thai tea and thai iced coffee. If you want a better version of this then head out to Thai Lingo in Anaheim Hills. Think about it...

  • Song L.

My husband and I order take out from here often. We both love their chicken satay and their pad see ew with with tofu. Yummm!!! I can't say it's the BEST thai food we've had but it's one of the better ones in this area. The servers are pleasant and service is great!

This is a cheap and tasty Thai place. I got the Pineapple Curry with Chicken (you choose the meat). Had to pay extra for rice though which I didn't like since most places provide the rice with the curry as a meal. Why would you ever eat curry by itself anyways? At least I don't eat it that way. Anyways, they just want to charge you more. Still it's not that bad price-wise. It was probably $10 or so (including tax and tip? don't remember exactly). Not bad at all for dinner. Service was decent, had not issues. Ambience - family friendly, but I would consider it hole in the wall type of place. Not like super fancy. They have a large flat screen on the wall too. Would definitely come back based on this first experience.

Besides the fact that the name is grammatically incorrect, it should be "you and me," the food is delicious and you can never go wrong with friendly thai service.

two words: CHEAP & FILLING positives: food was decent, you don't have to break your wallet, service was nice, staff was nice negatives: i don't know...something about the place didn't seem clean...but it wasn't dirty -___-" i just didn't get a good vibe out of the atmosphere

Great spot for good thai food that's easy on your wallet. Pad thai is good, but the beef chili fried rice and combination pad kee mao are my top choices. The curries and bbq chicken are also good choices if you're having a hard time deciding on what to order. Portions are great for what you pay and service is great as well. If you come here with a big party, let them know in advance so that they're ready for ya. Definitely a favorite local joint.

This is a fantastic Thai cuisine that always tastes good and is always fun. The food is superb and the Karaoke display is always fun to watch if you're in the market for Thai pop. It also works wonderfully after a long day at Disneyland. I recommend the Pad Kee Mao.

Cute little place towards the end of the strip mall. The dining room is fairly small and seems to get fairly loud with more than tables. The lunch menu is very affordable and the portions are very generous ($5.95 for pad thai, $6.95 for spicy seafood noodle soup, etc.) Spicy seafood noodle soup was mostly noodle, it had a couple of mussels, shrip, and chunks of squid. It was fairly flavorful, slightly sweeter than I had expected for a "spicy" soup. I have to say, I was somewhat diappointed with the pad thai. It was oily which masked any possible chance it had of being flavorful, also, the side garnishes (cabbage, and carrots) seemed like they had been shredded/chopped and sitting out for a couple of days, very dry and not worth putting on the plate. All in all, if you're looking for a quick, basic and cheap thai meal, go for it. If you're looking for good thai food, try somewhere else.

I think that You & I Thai is a reliably good restaurant, but not spectacular. I used to go there at least once a week for lunch when I was working at Disneyland. The karaoke machine, which was typically blaring in the background was a bit of an annoyance, but I learned to tune it out, at least when my back was to it. One of their best dishes was their spicy seafood soup...a healthy serving of noodles in a delicious broth filled with imitation crab, mussels, shrimp, and fish. I would typically slurp up every last bit of it. I wasn't a big fan of their lunch specials, but I suppose that they were a good deal for the lunch crowds. The service generally was pretty decent, especially when you're a regular. We could typically get in and out of the restaurant in less than an hour.

"You & I" what an original name for a restaurant. I came here with my parents and husband on a Wednesday night to have dinner. We were really craving some good Thai food. I was hoping this would be our new favorite Thai restaurant. We took our chances and it didn't turn out so well. The food lacked in flavor and the rice was under cooked. My dad complained to the waitress and she said that's just how the rice is. Come on, we are Asian and we are not idiots. I guess she felt bad after a few minutes and came back and asked if we wanted to get a new batch of fried rice to replace the steamed rice. We agreed and it was still bad. I can't believe how bad the food and service was. We got ripped off.

We were going to Pho 94 but lucky for us they were closed. We spotted You & I and went in. Very good! We had the Chicken Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and a combination "Hot Pot" soup. Everything was very good. Will be going back.

  • Chuck P.

They had the normal variety of food but everything was way too sweet for me. Got the Tom Yun soup, Pad Thai, and roasted duck curry. Both the soup and Pad Thai were way too sweet. The soup came with plenty of shrimp though. The curry was good, a little on the spicy side. They also didn't offer brown rice. Service was good and the place looked typical of what you would find in a strip mall.

Mmmm, it's Wednesday at midnight (or is it Thursday morning?) and I can't stop thinking about your chicken Pad Thai. Maybe it's because I'm on yelp with an empty stomach. But maybe it's also because your Pad Thai is the best I ever had and so bountiful for a mere $6. Hm, I think I'm going to write you a sonnet next.

Being lazy 90% of the time, the bestie & I ordered delivery for us & the boyfriends. (Major plus!) I don't have anything to complain about. I do, however, have to RAVE about the red curry with beef. So yummy... I just wish it came in a larger size.

I live in Anacrime. Mexican food and chain restaurants populate this city pretty much. Thai food? Last time I picked a place for Thai food in Anaheim, was so gross that I've been traumatized ever since. Here I am, now two years later, on a Thai binge...I need a Thai place close. and I need it now. Decided to find a place on Yelp. Trusty Yelp, it can't fail me miserably twice! Found this place. Driving towards it, I was familiar with the plaza, but couldn't think that I ever saw a Thai place in there. I was right, that's because it's way in the back. A dinky little place that people would surely drive by if not looking intently for it. I ordered for take out from the unexcited guy sitting at the front. Typical asian place. They don't care about you. Customer service what? I got some Thai iced tea, some crab fried rice, red curry with chicken, beef larb and mango sticky rice. Okay, only the red curry wasn't mine. :D Thai iced tea was good, nice tea taste and not too much half/half. The larb was pretty decent, I actually ate the whole plate myself. It could have been spicier. And the crab fried rice. When I opened the box, it was practically spilling out. I could make 4 meals out of this thing. i took a bite and...oh my, it was delicious. Full of crab, it wasn't greasy, it was still piping hot, it was GOOD. Which was why when I got to my mango sticky rice, I didn't care THAT much that it was kind of awful. The rice was harden, into a clump. I pretty much picked it up with my fork in it's clump entirety and had to take bites out of it. NOT a fan. But, I'm sure willing to go back and try the other dishes!! This could be my default Thai place!!

So...recently I found out that this place delivers to my house! (They only deliver to houses within a 3 mile radius.) I called, placed my order, and the food arrived in about 40 minutes, which is pretty lengthy for Thai food. Every thing came out right except for one thing. My favorite dish there is the pompano fish with the sauce, but when they deliver, they only give you a small amount of sauce. I recommend eating there, and only get it delivered if ordering noodles dishes and a la carte. Soup dishes and seafood taste better at the restaurant.

This is the most wonderful place with awesome food and great service. Me and my boyfriend we always go there. And one waiter there he is great i think he is the SR. WAITER THERE HE IS ALWAYs AT THE FRONT DESK. he gives the awesome service and very friendly. Last time we wanted to go to work and we asked for quick service and he provided whatever we want. Chef's are great nice food ..keep it up. only thing is missing is other waiter he never smiles. he should be trained. and rest everything is perfect. I LOVE THE FOOD THERE

Convenient location. Pretty decent food. Hmmm, I would say this was just "okay." I love getting pad thai, red curry, fried fish cake, and chicken fried rice here but don't think I'd try anything else. I also always order to-go but the one time I did dine in the restaurant, the service was good.

I ordered some take out from this place the other day. I read some decent reviews on here so I decided to check it out. The food was good and priced decently. I ordered some pad thai and some roasted duck curry. The pad thai was good and the portion was very generous. I had the pad thai with shrimp. The only thing is that there wasn't much shrimp in it. The curry was good as well. This place offers some decently priced food. It satisfied my thai food craving.

Great family place. My family and I come here all the time especially when we're being indecisive. It's our default restaurant since we can't ever go wrong with it. Food is good, service is great, and at very reasonable price!

  • Lenny R.

This place is OK but I have had much better. The service at lunch time was indifferent. The waiter put my food on the table while looking in another direction. He did not seem like he wanted to be at work. I had pad see ew. The broccoli was not cooked at all. It was thrown in completely raw and did not even have any of the juices from the dish on it. Again, maybe if I had ordered something else, it would have been better. This was my second or third time at this restaurant. So it is not terrible, just food. You won't walk away saying wow, what great food.

Two stars are for the big portion of the food only. We were on our vacation and want to try some Thai food. I ordered salmon combo for diner, the fish was so dried & no taste, my friend ordered the shrimp combo and no taste at all as well. Very sad!

  • Macchiato C.

I ordered the Tom Yum Goong spicy shrimp noodle soup. It tasted not that authentic. It's not as spicy as original one. Could because it's in America... And the price is 2 dollars higher than the price showing on the website menu. Thai ice tea is good but too sweet. The flavor was kinda covered by the sweetness. Vegetable fried rice tasted good tho. I'd like to take the chance to try next time for their curries.

I was craving some Thai food close to home so I decided to yelp this place. The $5.95 all day Lunch special caught my eye so I decided to give it a try! hehe that rhymed.... Anyways, we came and ordered the usual. Curry dish and a pad thai dish. The pad thai was pretty bland compared to other places I have eaten at, and the curry was mediocre. The service was a bit slow, and the people that was there eating was very loud and rude. The whole experience was not so great, but maybe it is due to the environment that day I went. Maybe someday... You and I can get together again...

Updated on 8/10/2007: Tried Panang with beef. I thought it was ok. It didn't have much of the distinctive coconut smell or taste. Very milky! But, I was really hungry so I still ate it all! ----------------------------- This place just opened about 2 months ago but it was formerly Thai Original BBQ. The best part is the lunch menu all are $5.95 except when you order shrimp and it's $1 more. I had the Pad Kee Mao with beef. Very good and tasty. The panang curry was good. I got to try it since one of my friends had it. They messed up the order since they asked for Panang beef but it was done with Chicken. It's still pretty good but I think it would have been tastier if it was beef! I'll update when I tried more dishes!

Best Thai restaurant I've been to, although I've only been to a couple. I would drive 25 miles away from my house to eat here rather than eat at some of the Thai places local to me. The food has been delicious each time I've gone. My girlfriend and I always order the pad see ew and the bbq chicken combo. SO much food for a great price. They have their lunch special prices for the whole day, don't see the point of calling them lunch specials. The food is the cheapest I've seen yet they give more than any other Thai place I've been to, and the food tastes amazing. There's hardly anybody there when we go so I hope they don't close down. And from some of these reviews I've read they deliver to those who live close enough. Lucky SOBs!

Visiting the area me and the bf came upon this place when shopping at the bearby 99 Ranch Market. We were both actually pleasantly surprised. We ordered from the dinner menu which includes a small salad. We decided on the salmon with broccili and the beef sate. Both came with a big portion of rice. Both of us were very surprised that both plates and portions were really good size. The salmon was the whole fillet and the sate came with 6 skewers with the great tasting peanut suce for dipping. Both were tasty and we felt stuffed afterwards. And a great deal at $10 bucks each. Will return for sure next time in the area.

My husband and I took our three kids and two grandkids to this restaurant on our evening of our vacation in Anaheim. It was so worth the trip. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The boat noodle soup was out of this world. The size of the chicken satay on the sticks was just right. Tom yum soup was good. My kids had Pad Thai and Lad Na, and they loved it. For the price, quick and courteous service, this place is a must to visit. I am Thai, and I can tell you that the food is authentic, and the price is reasonable.

Wow, talk about a low price! My sister took me and my dad to this place, and it took us a while to get here, about 20 minutes, but it was SO worth the drive. I think we came to the restaurant around 7 or 8pm, on a weekday, so there were hardly any people there. It's also in a fairly questionable neighborhood, but when you walk inside, it feels completely different. Nice decor and very clean. The menu is quite diverse, lots of things to choose from. We ordered the pad thai, the chicken/beef skewers, the tom yum gong or the shrimp soup with vegetables and other goodies, curry chicken and 2 bowls of rice. We also ordered Thai Ice Tea, which was refreshing and delicious. The skewers were really good, with the nutty sauce they give you. The shrimp soup came out in those medal pot-like things (don't know what they're called) and it was very acidic, which I enjoyed. When the waiter came out with the pad thai, my eyeballs almost exploded. The plate was huge and looked very appealing and appetizing. The curry was quite good too, with the coconut rice. The three of us had a lot of trouble finishing all the delicious food, and when the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised by how much it costed. I was a bit weirded out by the ostensibly violent movie they were playing on the television, since there were small kids and the only person watching looked like a chef, so I sat with my back facing the tv. Overall, go here for goooood and gooood price thai foooooood!

I have to update my review. I adore this place. I did ask them if they'd deliver to me...and now they deliver to my apt. (4.07 miles away!) every week. The food always shows up with in 45 minutes (typical delivery - to me), still BLAZING hot, and ALWAYS correct. Last night my BF and I ordered Red Beef Curry x2, Tom Kha Kai, Pad Thai, & 2 Steamed rice for $30! The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that sometimes (SOMETIMES) the beef is kinda tough.

    (4)
  • Katheryn A.

They deliver (minimum of $15) to the west side of Anaheim which was great. Other than that, the pad thai was oily and not flavorful, not even spicy if you have an acquired palate. I'm still on the search for a legit pad thai.

  • Tyler N.

This place is awesome! I definitely was surprised. I'm not a professional thai food connoisseur or anything, and had only had thai food a few times before. However I will say that I do love food and have been around it for a while now and this is good stuff! Nothing too fancy as far as restaurant, it's a casual place. Pretty clean inside and out, price was great for big portions, and the AC was on full blast. The service here is nice and friendly. I've been here a few times now and keep going back when craving thai. (I guess now I'm hooked) I recommend the Shrimp Fried Rice, and also the Pad Thai (peanuts are in the pad thai adding good flavor, but if you are allergic-remember). Also, if you google search their restaurant or click the link on the yelp page that goes to their restaurant website there are coupons you can print out making the place EVEN BETTER. Although I always seem to forget or randomly go and have never used the coupons yet. ALL in ALL this place is definitely worth going to and has fantastic food. If you're looking for somewhere to go TRY THIS PLACE! I wasn't disappointed and I was quite surprised! Happy Munchin' Everyone

Food is decent. Service sucks ass! I ordered pad thai, their bbq combo plate, and angel wings. Everything was pretty good until I asked for some sweet and sour sauce for the wings. The server had the audacity to keep correcting me over and over again. He kept pointing to the mixture of cucumbers and onions as sweet and sour sauce. I mean if you don't have sweet and sour sauce then just say so. Don't talk to me like I'm a dumbass that doesn't know what s&s sauce is.

I have been here about 5 times for lunch, once for dinner, and had delivery 3-4 times. If you order the things that they are good at - its amazing. By my saying that you know that their are some things that they are not good at. Don't ever, ever, ever order fried rice here. Its disgusting. Read - barely edible. Also, I would not recommend the Poo Jar as either an appetizer or entree. That being said - onto the reason I gave them so many stars. The spicy shrimp coconut soup is amazing. Truly Outstanding. And I cook a pretty good spicy shrimp coconut soup myself. But I got nothing on this place. The broth stands out on its own - the fresh ingredients are delicious as well. By far the best Pad Thai I have ever consumed was in this restaurant. I always have mine with seafood or shrimp as I don't consume meat. I assume that their Pad Thai is also scrumptious with meat. It has perfect flavor and consistency. Other entrees that deserve a note - some very yummy dishes include; Garlic, or Chili, or Mint Shrimp. Also, they have amazing garlic squid. The Garlic and Pepper Shrimp is also quite tasty. All the different curries I have had their are amazing. They have great Pa-nang and red curry especially. Their yellow curry has good flavor but I am not a huge fan of potatoes in my thai curry. Delivery service from here is reliable and efficient. When at the restaurant in person I have occasionally encountered a language barrier issue where the waiter brought me something different than what I asked for - they have always fixed it immediately and with no hassle. So, in conclusion I would say - go here for the Pad Thai if for nothing else. Don't ever order fried rice here. The soup is tasty and the curry is amazing.

My favorite Thai place, possibly of all time--- 1) the food is delicious! I recommend the pad thai, pad kee mao, satay, tom yum goong 2) portions are huge 3) service is punctual ...wait for it..... 4) IT IS SO CHEAP! $1.50 for a large glass of thai tea, $6 for a beautiful platter of pad thai....'You and I' and I are one happy couple. (how can you not love the name of this place?!) But, there were a few minor drawbacks that kept this place from being a veritable 5: Angel wings- dry, kinda tasteless Tom kha gai-dry chicken pieces, couldn't really taste the coconut milk over the strong lemongrass Green curry-a little too watery. Of course, all this is a matter of taste. The menu is very extensive, so pick your way through for your favorite dishes. Spread the love.

I was really disappointed. Due to the other ratings, I expected better, especially in the LA area. I ordered the vegetarian thai soup and the garlic veggies, while the hubby ordered the shrimp with fried rice and the mom ordered the barbeque chicken. You did get a lot of food for the buck, but the food was really BLAND. Both the soup and the garlic veggies had absolutely NO flavor. The hubby said that his shrimp was good (he would give it a 3.5 stars), but my mom said that her chicken was overally sweet, but really plain and also bland. Overall I would give this place a 2 stars. I have had much better thai--and not just in San Francisco, but even in Dallas.

I found this restaurant after trying to look for a Thai place close to my home. The food is decent, but the price is really great. The Tom Yum soup is little too sweet, but the curries and noodles are tasty. If you are in the mood for some Thia, but don't want to drive too far, this is the place!

I Yelp'ed this place after leaving Disneyland the other night. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. It was nice, clean, and quiet inside. Service was friendly & attentive. My husband had beef panang and he loved it. He said it was the best he'd ever had. I had yellow curry and it was good. Decently priced and I saw good lunch specials too. I wish this place was closer to me so I could go more often. I definitely recommend.

o hi. i love great lunch specials. especially of the thai kind. the GRUB: - pad thai. on the money. bean sprouts, chicken or tofu, noodles, thai crushed peanuts, and squeeze of lime. add sambal to taste. yum. - beef boat noodle soup. hearty. pho style noodles, thick beefy broth, tendon, tripe, thinly shaved beef, and even some asian style meat balls... spicy slow burn with every sip of soup. - angel wings - panko covered deep fried chicken wings stuffed with thai style glass noodles and veggies. side of sweet and spicy cucumber salad, thanks. - crab fried rice - rice. fried. my favorite kind. add lump crab, cilantro, peas, onions, and thai spices... o yeah. - thai tea - cool and refreshing. the JOINT: - nice decor - very thai cafe-ish. great thai memorabilia. - clean and bright. - plenty of tables. - the waitstaff was a little stand-offish tho... or maybe just the waiters, our waitress was totally cool the first visit... the dudes, kinda were like "whatever, what do you want?" attitudes... the SQUEEZE: - pad thai - $5.95 - beef boat soup - $6.95 - thai tea $2.95 - very affordable eats in the OC - cards accepted - but only Visa / Mastercard - parking is free the FINAL SAY: mental note. You and I Thai for thai food when gallabanting in the Anaheim area, plus its close to Lees Sandwhiches and 99 Ranch and Manila Bakery... all pluses.

Hands down one of the best places I've been to for boat noodles! The service is amazing, waiters are very attentive to you and your needs. Their beef salad and Tom Ka soup are also delicious. Definitely one of my favorite thai restaurants.

My girlfriend and I eat at You And I Thai once per week. The food is consistently good, with quick and friendly service. Pad Thai, Poo Jar, Pad Si Ew, and Sate Chicken are some of favorite choices. If you're a Thai fan, give this place a try. Added Bonus: Close proximity to Disneyland, so it's great for date night!

Best Thai food in OC... Everything I tried on the menu is good and not expensive. Pad Thai, yellow curry, Thai tea are my favorites! Nothing negative to say!

I came here at 2:30 for a late lunch with my mom. She got the Thai Beef Boat Noodle Soup, and I got the Pork Tom Yum Rice Noodle Soup. The broth of Thai Beef is wickedly strong and sharp. It's overbearing for me so that I can't eat it all in one sitting. The broth of the Tom Yum is sour, but not too much. I still enjoyed drinking all of the soup. The bowl comes with pork meat with some fat, pork balls, rice noodles, peanuts, green onions, lettuce, and cilantro. I would say the tom yum soup is pretty yummy, but some people may not be able to handle the sourness of it. I have had better, but I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here. :)

Good price, mediocre service. Portions are good, save for the cashe but chicken. All u get is very small amount of chicken, cashews and carrots over a bed of green peppers, onion and green onions. The sticky rice... Let's just say it gives a new meaning to sticky. Was very chewy and it's just a blob in a bag...very disappointing. Not coming back

food is great! and really love it. 2 people from work used to order and now there's 4 of us ordering. we took their menu so we could have it delivered since they offer free delivery with $15 minimum. but we noticed that the amount they have on the menu and when they deliver are totally different. what used to be $8.25 is now $10.25. next time we order we'll do pick up and request an updated menu. if their price continues to be this much i don't think we'll come back for it.

I love this Thai food restaurant it's a nice little casual restaurant. The prices are really good also. I love their fried tofu. This is the place that made me like Thai food. The pad kee mau is amazing both chicken or beef. It's good for people that love spicy food. The Thai tea with boba is also good. They deliver which is pretty cool for when I'm too lazy to go get food. They only deliver for a 3 mile radius though so you have to live close to it and the min. Purchase for delivery is $15.

We drove from Las Vegas, NV and were just beat. We found this restaurant to be SO relaxing and the food was so filling for 6 people and priced reasonable. I believe my check was $50 for all of us. AND we had food to take back to the hotel! Will be visiting this restaurant next time we are in Cali! Thank You!!!!

I love this place. The food is great, customer service is good. We have ordered a wide variety of dishes from the menu and everything has been delicious. We frequently order take-out from here, too, and the food is just as good as take-out as when you dine-in. Anytime we're in the area my husband and I try to stop at You & I Thai. Yummy!

There are certain dishes that this restaurant serve really well, such as: Boat Noodle soup Yentafo (a pink broth, noodle soup) Chicken Satay (chicken on a skewer) Lard Na (noodles in a thick gravy) Pad See Ew (stirfried noodles) Panang (beef coconut curry) Order one of these, and I promise you'll be satisfied. The price is great, especially for the portion size. We always end up bringing home leftovers.

GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD! the guys here are all friendly, the food comes out quick, free wifi, and they deliver for free (within 3 miles) for orders over $15. What a great deal. Some of the best garlic ribs and curry's I've had!

My absolute favorite go-to Thai restaurant in the OC. In my opinion, Thai restaurants are all more or less the same but this place is my favorite. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious and the serving portions on huge to boot. My favorite dishes (that I've tried so far) are the Tom Yum Goong soup with shrimp, papaya salad (get it extra spicy if you can handle it!), the BBQ chicken platter, combination fried rice, and the stir-fried noodles (a la pad thai, pad see ew, etc.) are all really yummy. The service is really good too!

This is our go to Thai reataurant. Lunch special all day!!! :) I love everything they have here -- yellow curry, green curry, panang, pad thai, satay, etc. But my all time fave is the pad see ew. It is bomb! We also love their cream cheese wanton!! Overall, this place is wonderful with reasonables prices. Took out one star because sometimes the tables are dirty/a little sticky. Hehe

The pad thai with beef the noodles were mushy and the beef was very dry like leather the sauce was good but they have problems with the service it was a joke and the mood in the place was dismal they really need to work on their food make it fresher and put more effort into the meat and make it more tender the egg rolls were good and so was the sauce. I won't be coming back there are many more thai places to try.

I order a Thai boat noodle which was a bit tasty but not the best, their pad sew we was ok, there BBQ rib tasted a little funny. The sever forgot one of our order and our rice. After we told her we still was waitin on our last order which didn't come out even tho we finish the rest of our food. I hope other people have a better chance of service here than I did. Price wise of the food was fair just like most Thai food prices. At the end we finally got out rice and our last order when we got the bill the lady charged us twice for rice when we only made one order of rice.

So my friend and I found this place by default. We were originally going to eat somewhere quick (Yoshinoya) prior to heading badk to San Diego. Unfortunately, the Urban Spoon is leading is to a closed Yoshinoya! We kept driving around the block and couldn't find this place. So finally, we pulled over and asked some locals if they know where Yoshinoya is. I quickly learned that they used to be here and now replaced by some other fast food chains. We were so bummed out!!! On our little journey, we came a cross You and I Thai and decided to yelp it. It was a relief to eat at a thai place where the staff spoke English pretty well. We ordered tom yum soup w/ shrimp, pad thai chicken w/ tofu, and panang curry w/ beef. Their tom yum soup is pretty good but not the best. They did add tomatoes in the soup, which was different for me. The pad thai, I had good hopes for because everyone keeps saying it is the best. Their pad thai was dry and it was yellow! I am used to orangey colored pad thai. I thought it was ok but definitely not even close to being the best I have ever had. If you want the best, go to Amarin thai in San Diego! Their panang curry is pretty good, a little salty and definitely different. Their panang curry tasted like beef stew w/ a hint of curry. I have got to say not the usual panang curry I have had. I'm not Thai but I have eaten Thai food for more than 15 years! I am used to eating Panang curry that is kind of reddish. I asked the waitress about it but she said that is red curry. I was like, no, I don't think so. The red curry tastes different. Oh well. For dessert, as usual, we ordered the mango and sweet rice. It was pretty good but it was missing the crunch brown topping on the rice (which I think is toasted coconut.) Anyway, this place is not bad at all. If I was in the area, I would eat here again and they have a friendly staff and decent service.

The BBQ RIBS here are amaaazing. Lunch portion comes with about 2-3 pieces with meat that literally falls off the bone. The dinner portion comes with about 5 pieces along with shrimp fried rice. Thinking about it makes me want to order some right now. Best part, they DELIVER! $15 minimum which is pretty much 2 lunch orders of ribs and 2 thai ice teas.

As my obsession with thai food grows I am forever wanting to try every single place in the area. This isn't anywhere near my house but a wrong turn brought it to my attention and a few days later I found myself getting take out for me and the boyfriend. We ordered Pad See Ew, Chicken pad thai and beef red curry. Both noodle dishes were AMAZING!! I'm not really a curry fan cause anything with the least bit of spiciness turns me off. It was a ton of food for only $20!!! I want it again. Now.

I got their mailer today. I usually ignore mailers, but this one was eye-catching. I'm glad I called. There wasn't much on the mailer that appealed to me because it was mostly seafood, but the nice lady said they could make anything I wanted. I'm no Thai expert, so I asked for Drunken Noodles with Beef, Chicken Fried Rice and Egg Rolls. She said they would be here in 45 minutes. 28 minutes later, I paid a polite gentleman less than $21 for the meal (before tip). I was stunned that I had enough food to feed a family of 4! The Drunken Noodles were delicious, though VERY spicy. The chicken fried rice was incredibly meaty and a nice relief from the heat in the beef dish. The egg rolls were very nice. A packet with chile sauce, soy sauce, chopsticks and plastic forks accompanied the order. They were super nice and super helpful. They remembered to send me a full menu so ordering next time will be much easier. There WILL be a next time! The quality and the value are too much to ignore. This is a no-brainer for delivery food!

This place is ridiculously good and very reasonably priced. We went to Thailand for our honeymoon and ate everything off the streets or by local recommendation, so I hate "Americanized" Thai food. This place is definitely authentic and when you ask for spicy, they spice it up! Yum! Oh, and it is open late on weekend nights...we stumbled upon it while we were trying to buy sandwiches from Lee's (which was closed). I think we headed in between 9:30 and 10pm.

The food, the staff, and the place are great! I love eating here. The specials are low cost and the Pad Thai is great! My personal Favorite is the Crispy Fish. The only gripe I have is the time they close. I wish they stayed opened later.

This restaurant was amazing. The food was fresh, spicey and very much true Thai. Restaurant is just a few miles from Disneyland and the prices are extremely reasonable. Would recommend to anyone wanting a Thai rescue from the boring and overly priced Disney fare.

Ordered Pad Kee Mao, Tom Yum Soup (comes in lit hot pot), and Yellow Curry, also Thai Ice Tea..My wife and I loved it. We will definitely be back for more. Waiters and waitresses were very friendly. Only negative was that the shrimp in the Tom Yum wasnt cleaned and still had the vein in it...no biggie though, its easy to pull it out if it grosses you out. .

This place always seemed kind of empty whenever I come here with my family. Shame, because their food is pretty good. I wish they had a no-meat version of their pad thai, but I guess I'll just have to live with picking out the chicken or shrimp before I eat it. Still, it's delicious, along with their vegetable fried rice. My family seemed to enjoy one of the spicy soups on the menu.

Good stuff. Went to try their red curry and was not disappointed. It had just enough meat and a good flavor. The price was good as well. Very pleases for a little whole in the wall in the back of a large shopping center.

We were hooked in By the prices and pictures of this restaurant. We ordered the papaya salad, pad Thai, fish cakes, and angel wings. Their pad Thai is absolutely delicious! The noodles aren't soggy and the flavor is perfect. On the other side, the papaya salad was SUPER SPICY! my mom was crying while she was eating it! We even ordered it Mild. But the waiter was very nice about it. He gave us a huge Togo cup of Thai tea and didn't charge us for it. The fish cakes were okay, it was too much flour in it. The angel wings were good, it was something different. It's chicken wings with stuffing inside and rolled with bread crumbs. When you eat it, it's crunchy and delicious! The price is very very cheap. I would defintely recommend this place =).

I think is Thai place is very mediocre. It has changed ownership several times this year alone. I have only eaten the Yellow Curry and also the Pad Thai and was not impressed nor disappointed. The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. The servers have poor English which can make ordering somewhat difficult. Also the speed at which food is made is slow compared to other Thai food establishments. Pros: Reasonable price for the amount of food Cons: Lack of English speaking staff and slow on food

Very fine food all around. Instead of the set lunch, we went for a mix of things: spicy seafood soup, spicy squid, and a noodle dish. We looked at the site and printed a coupon for free fried wontons. Everything was fresh tasting --even the fake crab in the soup. The soup was exquisitely spiced, very piquant with lemon grass and lime leaf. We'll be back.

First of all I wanna say that the waiter and the waitress is RUDE. Instead of helping my family they decided to watch TV and talking on the cell phone with someone. We had to wave at them several times just to get their attention. Besides the crummy services, the food was good I thought so. My parents complain about the food and wish that they should have gone to Korean BBQ instead. All in all the food kept me satisfy.

A friend had recommended this place after we voiced how the selection of Thai restaurants in north OC were not too great. We went on an early Sunday evening and the place was not crowded which may account for the Great service. The waiter and waitress seemed genuinely nice. Spicy shrimp soup was pretty tangy, so you have to like sour. BBQ spare rib was a pleasant surprise and came with I think a couple of good sized shrimp on the rice (I was starving to the point of perhaps hallucinating), and pad thai with shrimp was good and came with a generous portion of shrimp. For my taste and pricing, this may be the best Thai restaurant I've visited in north OC.

The service is very nice. The food is too sweet. The tom yum could be a little bit more spicy. The squid salad is also too sweet and they didn't give enough squid. Overall it is ok though

i eat here practically everyday. The food is really good and some of the employees are beyond courteous! I've had a couple very slight mistakes made with my orders but every dish that they accidentally gave me still turned out to be good haha. I would highly recommend the cashew nut chicken and yellow curry lunch special.. and you could never go wrong with their shrimp pad thai.

they make good boat soup. but still need to work on their pad see eww. last time i went the noodle tasted a little weird. I would rather drive to mission viejo to go eat at kao sarnz thai cuisine. well maybe if one day i'm super hungry i'll drop by to get some boat soup. i give this place 3.5

we moved to anaheim this year so i needed to find a thai food place that was near. the one place i use to go to a lot was kapow thai food in cypress so when I went grocery shopping at 99 ranch market, I was stoked to see you and i. the first time, i ordered the thai beef boat noodles, it was very flavorful and the cool thing was that it came in a handy to-go container that you can reuse :p the second time, i ordered the spicy seafood noodles to go. it was packed with lots of seafood! it wasn't spicy though but it was delish. the waiters are nice and the inside of the restaurant looks really clean. i need to have a dine-in experience one day though.

This was the best spicy shrimp noodle soup I have ever tasted. Most times I order it, the broth tastes like water with spices. This broth was really tomatoey and flavorful. Haven't ordered anything else, but would go back just for this. Great service too.

Been here twice already, the food + service + price keeps me coming back for more. From what i've tried... - tom yum soup (order the one that comes with a large pot) with sticky rice is very good. There's a lot so it can be easily shared between 2 people. - pad kee mao and pad see ew were also good (slightly on the greasier side) - pad thai was just mediocre - Mango sticky rice was delicious You also cant beat their $2 thai iced tea, i like to order an extra for to go. Just ask for less ice.

1.5 stars. Came here last night for dinner. It was a mistake. In a nutshell, service was really slow/bad and we received inedible food. We were a party of two (my mom and I) and, after having seated us, it took them well over fifteen minutes to even acknowledge us (we just sat there with menus, no water, no offer for drinks - nothing). After I tried to get their attention they finally came back. By this time, we were both parched and starving. Ultimately, they took the orders of three (larger) parties who came AFTER us, before us, which of course put our food at the end of the list. Which meant that we then had to wait for four tables to be served their food (slowly) before we got anything to eat. Bad bad bad. During this time, we got to watch workers sit around and not work. My mom likened it to watching children play instead of serve us/make our food. Also, It felt like our orders were taken last/we were receiving bad service because we weren't Thai. Worse, was the fact that some of the food we were (finally) given was inedible. My mom got the papaya salad, and the flavors were only OK. The shrimp, however, was both burnt and under-cooked (the outside was charred but the inside was raw). We had waited so long to get the food, though, that she didn't want to wait longer for cooked shrimp so she just set it aside. The reason I'm giving 1.5 stars for this experience, is because the flavor of my pineapple curry was quite good. I got it with chicken, which was only OK. A lot of tiny pieces, all of which were dry. At least it was cooked all the way through. The portions they give aren't amazing. There are other, nicer (the carpet here looked really unclean, and we were seated next to a column that was super dirty and needed to be cleaned/repainted) Thai restaurants with better food/service that offer larger portions for the same price. This was the first time and the last time I will dine in at You & I.

Thai tea here is sweet n good. Beef pad see ew is delicious w/ Chinese broccoli instead of American broccoli. Fried rice is yummy too. Didn't like the chicken in it as much. I will try the beef fried rice next time. I like how everything was light and not over drenched w/ saucey taste. Service is good too. Definitely will be coming back.

I must say, the food was pretty good for a place with such a cheesy name! U, N, I, T, Y.... (my friend threw me back to the past with this song the other day, and how fitting!) The decor was average, but they added that extra flare with a Christmas Tree, which I named "Christmas Thai". I love Christmas Thai. Me and my companions also came up with the new version of "Oh Christmas Tree", now called "Oh Christmas Thai". Okay, as you can see, this is not really a review, but a mindless rant about my own random thoughts, or blog shall we say.... Now to the food. Great Pad Kee Mao (spelling?, flat rice noodles with mint or basil leaves, tomatoes, brocolli, and meat/tofu/whatever you choose). This dish was the highlight over our meal, flavorful and excellently executed (say that fast 3 times). Cheap at about 6 bucks and the portion was decent for the price. Red curry with chicken was good but lacked that deep curry flavor I usually prefer. Not too watery which was nice. Veggie Eggrolls were okay. And the thai soup with noodles was good also, similar to Pho. Service was good, and one of the servers was singing to the music in the background. I hope he will bust out in a routine next time. Maybe he will sing "Oh Christmas Thai"...

I started to get delivery from this place quite a while ago, possibly 8-9 months ago, and we try to get their food at least one a month if not twice on a lazy day when we don't want to cook. Unfortunately the food has been consistently degrading to a pile of crap. Our last meal at this place was last week where after ordering at 6PM on the dot, our food did not arrive until 8PM, and yes, I was quite upset. Why was I upset? Because according to google maps, they are 1.5 miles away from our house, yet it took them that long to deliver the food. Once the food arrived after an enormous amount of time waiting for it, the food was obviously cold, soggy and disgusting. I've given them a second chance before because of the really poor quality and taste of the food, and unfortunately now it looks like this last time will be the last. I would not recommend this food to anyone at any time, not even if you're starving and dying on the street, never would I recommend it.

Besides its weird name, it's a good place to get thai food. I always order pad thai at every thai restaurant and this place doesn't disappoint. Taste, portions and price are all spot on. The service was prompt. I love that it's right by 99 ranch, Ten Ren and even Starbucks. It's a very convenient location. Advice to some people who plan on going here, stick to the typical thai dishes, don't order something that sounds off and complain it wasn't good.

You & I? You & Me? Me & You? Lunch specials served all day. Located in the 99 Ranch strip mall, this place is easy to miss. The first thing my 6 year old niece said out loud was "This place smells." Yeah, it kinda did, but not enough for us to leave. Here's a breakdown of what we got and thought: Angel Wings Probably one of the best angel wings I've tasted. The vermicelli was a bit much, but very well seasoned and lots of flavors going on in there. Tom Ka Kai Soup Good and flavorful with the milky coconut milk and strong mint and lemongrass flavors, but random long chili's in the soup made it a bit harder to eat. I don't remember these large distracting pieces of chili in this soup from other restaurants. Orange Chicken Chicken was dry and tough, but shame on me for ordering orange chicken at a Thai restaurant. Pad See Ew Flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Delish. The rice noodles were perfectly done and not stuck together. Pinepple Fried Rice Layers of flavor. Spicy with random raisins in it, but overall, good dish. Garlic Chicken Chicken was dry and tough. Probably the same chicken they use for orange chicken. VERDICT: It wasn't bad. I would come here again if I wanted Thai and was in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way.

This place was surprisingly good. It's in a strip mall with a Ranch 99 Market and Ten Ten Seafood Restaurant. We got the lunch special on a Sunday (beef pad thai $5.95 and chicken red curry $6.25). Both came with rice and salad. Everything was really good and were large portions. We got a doggy bag. Getting our food took a little longer (about 20 minutes), but then I saw the big group of about 10-12 people that came right before us. It's not as pristine and spotless like some other Thai resturants, but it definitely wins me over with the taste, portions, and price.

We ordered takeout, so this review is just on the food. Let's get to it! Wonton Cream Cheese: What makes this even better than your typical wontons & cream cheese (which are good already) is the taste of onion, without the actual crunch of fresh onion (I hate that in my wontons), plus what looks and tastes like imitation (I don't mind) crab. Really good! $6 Chicken Pad Thai: Good amount of chicken, but needs WAY more flavoring. Good thing we did takeout because adding the extra fish sauce at home did wonders for this one. $7 Kai Yang Chicken Dinner: Not bad; the chicken is tender. Flavor is ok; a little "flat" (vs. complex). This is far from the worst Kai Yang I've had, but not the best. My standard for good Kai Yang is the one at the Original Thai BBQ (in Fullerton + Cerritos), and I prefer their marinade over this one. $9 Beef Panang: Yum! The best thing we ordered. Tender beef with a thick and flavorful coconut milk sauce, lots of spice and heat. Definitely too hot for me, although I'm weak with that stuff; the hubby is pretty used to eating hot food and he says it's an 8/10 on heat. Portion size is rather small for an a la carte entrée---if this is all you have, it's only good for one. $7 Overall, 3.5 stars. I wish there wasn't consistently a con to so many of their dishes.

I really like this place! 5STARS! FOUR REASONS YOU SHOULD TRY IT: 1] ITS TASTY: I have to say this has to be one of the BEST Thai places I've ever eaten at & trust me being Thai I appreciate good Thai food. I also love it, because its right next to my house so its really convenient. Try there "Sate chicken" on the there lunch menu or the "Pad See Ew" yummmmmmy!! BTW this is the only Asian place that I've ever eaten at that gives free refills! I was surprisedd so +++ & speaking of drinks, there Thai ice tea is bomb! Not too milky & not too strong. TRY ITT! 2] ITS CHEAP: They have lunch special all day which is like only $6! Pretty cheap and everything that I've tried there so far is really good. 3] FRIENDLY SERVICE: The waiters are also super friendly as well. They check up on you frequently to make sure that everything is okay & they always have a smile on there face. 4] NO WAIT: This is another pluss+, alot of people dont know about this place, because its kind of hidden in the plaza next to the 99 Ranch market. The past couple times I went I was seated immediately. Also your food comes out hot and fresh before you know it [: ** I highly recommend it so go! **

The decor is kinda blah...and service is a hit and miss. I would have to say that the food is mostly good. I'm not a Pad Thai kinda gal. We usually get the seafood soup (?) and that's always good. My hubby loves the BBQ ribs. This is an everyday type of Thai food. If you want fancy Thai food, go to Thai Nakorn in Garden Grove. Took off one star decor/service. Not the best food but definitely not the worse.

    I. Love. This. Place. After all the Thai food I've eaten in my life, even living right next to Thai Town, this is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant ever, full stop. Even when friends and I roll in thirty minutes before closing, the food here is hot, fresh, and tasty. Service is quick and it's usually never crowded. Prices are ridiculously cheap. Seriously, are they losing money or something? I feel like I'm robbing them most of the time, especially with lunch specials under $10 that are good all day. That's right, a full lunch under $10 all. day. long. I love the angel wings, cream cheese wontons, and/or sate to start. Yeah, it's really hard to pick when I want to slam all the tastiness in my face hole. Oh, and don't forget the tom kha gai Soup of Epic Yumminess + 5. For entrees, the pad thai and pad see ew. Holy crap, is the pad see ew amazing. The food here is never overly greasy or looks or tastes like it's been sitting on the stovetop for hours. Yeah, the name is weird and the location isn't ideal (for parking, though, it is, and it's situated perfectly from Disneyland that I can stop here for dinner on the way home), but it's so good and affordable that you'd be crazy to pass it up. If you haven't ever had Thai, or good Thai food, you can't go wrong here. Promise.

:-) Surprisingly good.... fast and friendly service! On my way back from Los Angeles, I drove past this area off of Euclid and Hwy 5. I had to YELP it on my phone to see where "good places" were to eat "nearby." "You and I Thai" came up with many good reviews. I ordered the Thai Iced Tea, the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Duck Curry dish mmmmmm... AND THE YELPERS WERE RIGHT.. This place is dependably good! The service here is quick and friendly, and the restaurant contemporary and clean. If I'm ever back in the area again, I'll be sure to return. The Shrimp Fried Rice was surprisingly good and the stand out dish... even better in my opinion, than the Duck curry dish. Though the duck was shredded and plentiful, it lacked a certain "je nes se quoi." 4 Woofs.. I'd come back.. if I worked in the area, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure. It's that good.

Pad see ew was really good, ordered with Chinese broccoli. The chicken fried rice was good but the chicken wasn't the best, a lot of fatty pieces. Next time Getting beef fried rice.

The only place that won't mess up on pad thai. &I sure love me some pad thai.

I've excepted that most Thai restaurants are hole-in-the-wall, family-owned joints. As a matter of fact, it's better that way. I've been to my share of Thai joints and You and I Thai is one of the better ones. I'm always on a hunt for better food. Thai is a hard category to nail and You and I Thai pleases my belly. We ordered a seafood noodle soup, shrimp pad thai, and chicken satay, with one Thai iced tea for $25 plus tip!. And being the fatties that we are, my boyfriend and I finished every last bite and then waddled out of the restaurant. You and I Thai will be my default Thai restaurant from now on.

This spot by far has the best pad thai I've ever had! Tucked away in a nondescript corner of the 99 Ranch plaza on Euclid, You & I Thai used to go unnoticed by me just by virtue of judging a book by it's cover. I figured, 'Ok, the location sucks, the name's wack and it didn't look none to special from the outside.' But they proved me wrong when I gave them a chance once my mom told me that they have some really good pad thai. Now as usual, mama was right - the pad thai was bursting with flavor and not overly greasy like most other pad thai's I've previously tried. The rest of the food is pretty good, too - all curry dishes are great and the papaya salad is a must eat. Be sure to check out their lunch specials as the prices on them are a nice deal. I'd give this place one more star, however, the service is pretty meh. Also, the food always takes quite a bit of time to come out. But hey, that could just be me being hungry and selfish for some good pad thai. Although it could be the latter, I think some slightly speedier service couldn't hurt as well.

My wife and I can not get enough of this place, we really like it because it's close to home and we regularly have them deliver, which is always done in a timely manner. We usually order the chicken Pad Thai, Beef Pad See Ew and Tom KaiKai soup, which always come in good portions and most of the time, with it just being her and I, we have enough left over to enjoy the next day, especially if we have white rice to eat with it. We also enjoy the wontons very much and they go very fast every time we order. We have both eaten at a number of Thai restaurants and agree that this is one of the best and worth a try for anyone. We have dined in on occasion and find the service to be prompt and the environment pleasant.

Wow, a lot of four star reviews here, which is why we decided to try it. Where to begin.... How about I begin and end all in the same sentence... You can't serve an entire pound of salmon with vegetables and rice for less than $10.00 if the salmon is FRESH, and I had about 1 ounce of the $10.00 salmon special when I discovered this fact of life. Was that clear?

So one afternoon while sinking into my couch while watching Food Network at home, I had a random craving for Thai food. So I pulled up my "handy dandy" Yelp app on my Droid and did a search for the closest Thai restaurant around. I came across reviews on You & I Thai and they seemed fair and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located in a plaza near the 99 Ranch Market and Ten Ren. Pretty decent location seeing as how that plaza always seems to be packed. Plus it's also conveniently located across the street from the massive XXI :] The place was pretty empty when my sister and I walked in. First impression: Decor is simple Thai inspired and plenty of tables for when and if they get a mad rush of people. We were quickly seated and immediately went over the menu. They offer pretty much classic Thai food. Everything from curries, fried rice, pad thai, pad see ew, bbq chicken etc. We decided to order the chicken pad thai and papaya salad to share. The food came out fairly quick. We dug into the papaya salad first. It was super refreshing and light withjust enough "kick" without too much spice overpowering all the other flavours. On to the Pad Thai. The noodles were perfectly cooked where the sauce just grabbed on to every strand making every bite just as tasty as the last. There were also a good amount of chicken and vegis so it didn't leave us with a plateful of noodles after a couple chopstickfulls. Overall the food was good and service was decent. There were plenty of servers working, but mostly chit chatting in the back area or iChatting on the Macbook. Had to ask a couple times to get my water refilled. Other than that it was okay. Will I come back? Possibly. Is it my new favourite Thai restaurant? Sorry but no.

Love this place. I go here at least twice a month for the last year or so. They have very good Tom Ka and Kee Mao. Also their cream cheese wontons are delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Not bad. The food is not the best I've had, but still very good for the price. But be careful - many things are VERY spicy! The thai tea with boba is amazing. Love the noodle dishes as well, and their sate. They lose a star for me because the service is very poor, as is the atmosphere... You usually have to flag down your waiter, and the atmosphere feels like a cheap buffet. Worth it if you're looking for some good, cheap thai food, but not a fun or friendly atmosphere.

o.m.g i am still thinking about the yummy food we had there last week. Hands down the best Chicken Pad Thai I've ever had! It was soooo yummm. We also had Shrimp fried rice which was very good. The Fried Tofu was just okay though... it was rather plain to me. We had some kind of won ton soup that was good! I thought the prices were really affordable. They also had some all day lunch deal that was supper cheap. My husband tried the thai tea and said it was just alright. We had the mango/coconut rice dessert and that was yummy. I'd definitely go back to eat there! The service wasn't too bad... not the most attentive... and not the speediest (my little one was hungry and i was dying for them to bring out something asap). But food and prices alone will bring me back for sure!

Another Yelp recommendation, another delicious meal. I really enjoyed the food here, it was flavorful and very affordable. The two of us ordered the following: Tom Yum Goong Pad Thai Beef Red Curry Steamed Rice Coke Thai Ice Tea The bill came to $32.00, that's a great deal for a whole lot of food. My favorite was the Tom Yum Goong followed by Pad Thai. Beef Red Curry was sensational too, but I'm not a big curry fan and I still dig it. The steamed rice was a little bitey, but no big deal. The Thai Ice Tea was very good, it had the perfect amount of sweetness. We will be back for sure, only thing that bothered us was Beyonce on the television. I like the girl and I will start bustin a dance move to Crazy In Love, but can we watch something a little more low key, I can't concentrate on my Thai food when Beyonce is on the screen shaking her booty all around.

My first visit here back almost a year ago was a three star. However, on my recent visits, it seem the place has improved FOOD - Nice variety, good taste, fair portion, good price. SERVICE - Nice. The owner is super-friendly.

I love thai food so when I went searching for thai food in anaheim, You & I popped up, so we just had to try it. We got hooked ever since. Everything that we have tried so far were very tasty. My favorite is shrimp fried rice. They put so many shrimps unlike other thai restaurants. I also like the fact that they deliver. When we feel lazy, we just order in. Go try You & I , you won't regret it. I promise. =)

This place is pretty good. I've gone here a couple of times, and it it's not bad. I usually come here for lunch, because it's cheaper. For $5.95 you can pick something small like pad thai, or curry. I usually get the panang curry because I like the coconut milk. The only reason this place got a star knocked out was because the first time that I came here, they took a while to give me my food. No biggie. Because I still love thai food!

I came at 11am when they opened and was the only person there. So for that reason alone, there is no excuse for burning my food. I got the pad see ew and the noodles and the beef were burnt. The service wasn't great either. It took a while to get my food (probably b/c they were busy burning it), and then they just set it down on my table and didn't even say anything. I will not go back.

Quiet little thai resturant that always seems to play Taylor Swift whenever i drop in. Pros: good food & portions for the monaaaayyy $$$$ great customer service, my cup is never empty Cons: not the BEST thai food ever, but its still yummy!

Dependably good Thai food for a great price. Our group shared 4 dinner plates and an appetizer for only 50 bucks -- we had tons of left overs too. Saccharine name, but it's a cute place. Bright walls, Thai memorabilia, and some tv's. The food was better than quite a few Thai places I've had, but You and I couldn't quite nail the few dishes I particularly like. For instance, the duck red curry came out disappointing. The duck was rubbery and it just killed the whole dish for me. The pad thai was average, but only because I know what really good pad thai tastes like in Thailand. The spicy chicken soup was superb: sweet, sour, and tangy in all the right ways. The last dish was amusingly called Dearest Crab: Poo Jar. Maybe the name perversely attracted us, but it's a pretty good dish containing shrimp fried rice (cooked with tomato paste) and a fried crab/shrimp cake. In my experience, Thai places tend not to cook meat too well. Grilled pieces end up dry and stewed/curried meats end up rubbery. Which was the case here. Avoid the purely meat dishes here, and the dinner comes out really satisfying. P.S. Check the coupons on their website!

I love this place.. i have to consider myself a regular... i go here at least once a month... their prices are reasonable and the food is authentic except for their thai bbq chicken.. these are the dishes you cannot go wrong Angel Wings Pad Thai Fried Catfish Pad Ped Chicken Ka Prow Pad Lad Na with Zen Mee Chicken Satay Garlic Pepper Pork The restaurant isn't fancy, reasonable priced and friendly service. Also their dinner combos.. is well priced!

Favorite Thai Restaurant hands down. I used to come here once every two weeks or so. The service here is excellent, not just because I come here often. The first time I came here they were extremely friendly and made us feel like home! The atmosphere is so cozy, even if it is a little out-dated. The food here is delicious. I cannot find a great Thai Restaurant like You & I. Fish cakes, mmmmmm delicious.. So good. The sauce was sour and sweet, but not like regular sweet and sour sauces. When you bite into the fish cakes, you taste everything in it. It's amazing and to-die for, even if it is a little pricey, you must get it. Then again, Fish Cakes at any Thai Restaurant are a little pricey. The Spicy Shrimp soup is delicious. I always get it and I often to-go it. Plenty of shrimp and for it's price, it's more than you could hope for. I can't name everything, but most of the things are delicious and cheap! Because we were regulars, the waiters often gave us dessert on the house. The dessert is mmm, to die for too! They look like eggrolls, but they are fried-bananas with chocolate sauce. Sooooo good. Must try!

You & I Thai is one of my favorite restaurants to go for lunch. My boyfriend and I went here today for lunch and, as usual, the food was delicious and a great deal for the low price. We ordered the spicy shrimp soup and the pad see ew today. In the past, we have also tried the clear noodle, pad thai, and rad nar dishes, which were all tasty and well-prepared. The ambiance of You & I is very bright and intimate, with beautiful pictures on the walls. Soft, romantic music plays in the background. Overall, it is a great place to go for a date!

I've eaten at You&I about five times. Atmosphere: really nicely decorated little place, very bright on the inside. they had tables and booths. It's very clean inside. Service: waiters are very friendly and quick to serve. Never once did I have to flag them down for a drink refill. Food: The food is good! Portions are A-OK! I usually like getting the Pad Kee Mou with chicken and tofu and the Boat noodles. But MY ABSOLUTE FAV is their Nam Thoke with Pork get it spicy! so so good. I always find myself going back. +1 star for Good food,+1 good service, +1 nice atmosphere and +1 Free WIFI!!! i can"t give it five because it's good food but Not the Best THAI i've Had.

just came out of the rest...horrible food...stupid lunch special cost $6.25 and up...and what you get is a small bowl full of vegetables and 2-3 pieces of meat...i ordered 3 dishes and all of them were a nightmare...big time rip off...the serving plates were smaller than my palm..to make the food appear more....the worst and funniest part was the uncooked rice...hey guys if you fail to cook good rice .....then imagine the other stuff..!!!! i gave one star for the ample parking with no customers inside... to make matters worse..and stinky ...the cook came out and sat behind us...and he stunk like a skunk......will never ever go there...and beware guys..!!!! enter at your own risk..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite my lack of check in I do come here a lot with my friend. Usually we order the thai ice tea and talk and 70% of time we actually order food. First if all the thai ice tea taste very fresh and crisp and is one of our favorite places to order it. Secondly the meal I usually order is the pad thai and shrimp fried rice which I believe is delicious. They portions are generous and will feed two hungry people and up to three people who want to snack. I've also had the mango coconut milk sticky rice which is good. So far the food I have no complaints. As far as the service, it's very rare for me to get good service here. If you just want a good meal come here but make sure you have no where important to go afterwards because it might take a while to get your food and check. So from the average of the four stars I give the food and the two stars I give the service, I give You and I Thai a whopping three stars.

This place definitely is a solid 4 star... Wonder why people give it low ratings?! My bf works nearby and vouch for their quality, so of course I wanted to try it out ;) Parking: massive lot shared with 99 ranch and Daiso. Can get pretty busy but if you're patience, you'll find a spot Service: fair. Water is filled promptly and they check up on us often. Food comes out quick too! Food: authentic! I've had my share of Thai food in Thai town in Hollywood when I lived in LA. This place is definitely very authentic in taste, but their spiciness might be a bit toned down for the general audience haha... MY FAVES: -Garlic short ribs $7.50: crunchy yet meat is still moist inside -Thai rice noodle tom yum soup $7.25: one of my fave thai dish, can only be found at more authentic restaurants -Boat noodle $7.25: sooo rich, soooo good. -Yen-ta-fo $7.50: lots of seafood, it's my bf's favorite -Pa-nang curry $7.95: sweet, goes so well with rice THE OOOKAY aka I've had better -pad thai -pad see ew -BBQ chicken with fried rice OVERALL: affordable, authentic Thai food always wins my heart. We will be back from time to time

More like a 3 and a half star, really. I ordered Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup from their lunch special, take-out menu. They were decent but I was not crazy about them. I would come back, though, when I am craving for more Thai food since it's pretty close to work. Maybe I'll try something else next time and see if they'll impress me more(?). Maybe curry. I'll try their curry next time. TBC.

Favorite thai spot around town. Fair prices. FREE delivery for 3-5mile radius. They been through a couple different ownerships & factored to different qualities in their dishes; but i think that the quality of food they have now is pretty solid. Recommend: Sate Lunch Special - ALL DAY Peanut Sauce is a must. Try using their Red Suace (sweet/sour) on the rice.

In the same plaza on the 99 Ranch Market and Daiso, but on the quieter side of the plaza. Plenty of parking spaces so no trouble there! What we got: Fish Cake ($7): I was expecting fish cake patties, but they were on skewers! But that doesn't matter because it was good either way. Their dipping sauce that came with it isn't as flavorful compared to other places, but their fish cake definitely had more flavor. Tom Yum Noodle Soup ($7.25): first time having it after wanting to try it a couple times. I was kind of disappointed though...it was like Vietnamese pho, but sweeter. I was expecting it to be a little spicy and sour like the tom yum soup. Comes with meatballs, meat loaf slice, shrimp, and other stuff that you would actually find in Vietnamese egg noodle soups, but with the pho noodles instead. It's a pretty big bowl too! Beef Pad Thai ($7.25): your typical pad thai, nothing really standout-ish about it. Beef wasn't chewy and noodles weren't too soft or chewy. Service: Since the place only had 2 other parties inside, service wasn't bad. Water glasses were filled without being asked. They would walk by and ask us if we needed anything else and if everything was good.

Good food, decent prices. The pad thai and yellow curry are good. Chicken satay with peanut sauce is good. Best thing about this place....FREE local delivery!!! Have used the delivery option like 3 times.

Tried this place out with some friends before a baseball game at Angels Stadium. Super friendly service. Lunch specials are served all day. Really large portions. The Pad See Ew was delicious - definitely had the right flavor. Everyone was happy with their dish (husband had curry & friends had the papaya salad & wings). Might have to come back when I'm in the area to try other dishes.

Great food with great price!! If you like spicy food, try their beef panang with side of rice. One of the best beef panang in Orange County area. The staff was friendly as well. And they have a free wifi for your kids. Definitely will come back to this restaurant again.

The food is decent, not great but not bad. It's close to work so I come because it's easy. Today I wanted to order something to go. There's no one in the front to help me. One male worker popped his head from the back, looked around, but went back in. I walked to the back to get someone. I told a female worker that I've been waiting for a while. Nothing. I doubt I'll be spending money here anymore.

I love everything about this place!! I recently moved to OC and have tried several Thai resturants. Not one was up to my standards. Then I came across You and I Thai Cuisine. I have to say this place has the absolute BEST Thai food in OC. I highly recommend it. The customer service, atmosphere, and food are great! If you ever happen to be in Anaheim and are looking for a good place to eat. This is the spot. :)

Pretty standard thai food here. We got their pineapple fried rice (but why did it have shrimp in it? :/), beef pat see ewe and yellow curry with chicken. I thought all of the dishes were just ok, though-would've liked some more flavoring to 'em!

I've been here a good number of times, and each time, the food never disappoints. Their pad Thai is good and so is their papaya salad. Go during lunch because their special is so worth it! There's never a line so never worry about waiting for food!

I wish i can give more than 5 stars!!! Haha I have lived in Thailand before so i know how thai food tastes like! And this thai food restaurant is the closest! I always order my go to plate which is pad-sew. Its got thick noodles with brocolli and other veggies. Its just flat out amazing. If i go with my lady, we order three to four plates and kind of make it a buffet style. We order, shrimp friend rice, pad sew, pad thai, and the fourth dish always seem to be a new one every time we visit. Let me tell you. It is amazing and you will not regret eating here. Ive brought many people to this restaurant to eat, and not a single person said i didnt like this place. Thumbs mucho up for this restaurant and its management. I also came by today and they had happy hour specials! It was super cool! I plan on coming back whenever im around!

Came here due to my craving for Thai food, left satisfied but not really impressed. For the most part you can get your Thai food fix here easily, but I felt like the price I paid did not match my expectations for the amount of food I received. Sure dining in gave the added perks of the great plating of the food, but even after ordering the "lunch specials" I still felt like I got more extra salad than I wanted, and less curry than expected. Quality wise it was decent, but nothing to brag about. If it was amazing I would have been okay with the portion size :[. Overall, this place beats out Thai Spice, but doesn't come close to my favorites like Thai Gulf or Thai Cafe.

  • Veronica V.

So yummy and for this price I can't complain. I love their coconuts. I usually do not like coconuts or coconut water but oh my gosh they are amazing here. I have crazy cravings for their coconuts sometimes. The ambiance is really nice nothing fancy just a nice little place to have lunch/dinner with some friends/family. If you pay with credit or debit card and your total is less then $10 you will get a fee of $0.35. So either bring cash or be prepared to pay the fee.

If i could give zero stars I would. I ordered our food and for three hours I called for updates about 5 times and they kept saying its on its way. The food never showed and when I called back the 6th time they said they never got it!!! Thanks for the update. They were so rude after I said why didn't you tell me this over 3 hours ago.

Order pad thai and spicy seafood noodles, couldn't choose one so I had to get both. When I tried these two plates omg I was speechless! Pad thai was served with salad and rice I added spicy sauce to give it extra taste. And the spicy seafood noodle soup was really spicy and was very good. I also order thai ice coffee with boba it was so good their boba is really small you don't have trouble swallowing lol.

When we lived in the area, this was one of our go-to spots just because they delivered. Nothing beats sitting in front of the TV for a day of vegging out and just having some spicy curry delivered to your doorstep. It usually takes about 30-40 minutes, but definitely worth it so you don't have to leave the loafing life. Portions are decent and if you order a few dishes, it will be more than enough to share with two people. What we've had: Pad Thai is good and it's a nice portion. We usually go the shrimp route and they give you a fair amount of the fish. The noodles are a little on the sweeter side, but you can cut through it by adding some of the chile sauce. Pad see ew is one of my favorites here, the only problem is that sometimes it can be a lot of broccoli. I don't mind the veggie, but if you're trying to move big pieces of the green food around your plate to get to the food, it's a little annoying. It's good, but when there is a lot, it can be a little cold and on the raw side. The dish itself is really hot and I love the barbeque char taste from the noodles and beef. If you order the coconut soup, I recommend also ordering it a little on the spicier level. We ordered medium and we had to doctor it up because it was a little weak. It's still good and we usually go with chicken or shrimp. They give a good balance of veggies to protein and you have the option of ordering it as a bowl or a flaming pot. The panang beef isn't my favorite here. The meat is a little rough and rubbery, but the curry itself is pretty good. We usually go a little spicier because medium doesn't seem to cut it for us. Service is always quick and friendly and there is always a good amount of seating. Parking is always easy because it shares a huge lot with a 99 Ranch Market. It definitely hits the spot if you're looking for a quick bite.

Friend recommended this place. So bland and dry. If we hadn't had take out, i would have sent everything back to the kitchen. Worse Thai food, ever. I'll be sticking to Thai BBQ on Orangethorpe. Neve should have strayed.

This is probably the cheapest thai food I've been to. The service is good, the employees seemed really nice, they asked me like a billion times if everything was alright. The food wasn't as amazing as the other thai food I've been to. It's okay, I didnt like anything I ordered. I guess you get what you paid for. The only thing that bothered me was that there was a fly in my salad, it was so GROSS. I was going to tell them something, but they were so nice to the costumers. But other than that everything was alright.

You & I...are going to be good friends. You & I...are going to be great friends. You & I...are going to write a good review. 1. The PadSeeEww is NOT EWWWWWW, but will make your taste buds SEE. Yea some of your optical nerves will have some taste buds. Let's be real, this place has good portions that are easy on your wallet. Seriously, the cushions on the booths are easy on your wallet. 2. The pineapple curry is really good as well. Oh my. Highly recommend these two dishes. I think the two above combined came out to be slightly less than $20 with tax/tip. If you are in the area, I highly suggest this place. The vibe here also is pretty good too. Quiet, relaxed type of vibe when you eat.

I've ordered take out a couple of times here before when I'm at work. The food is good, but could use a little more flavor compared to other thai restaurants I've been too. My usual is the pad thai, as is every other person that goes into a thai food restaurant. I feel that the portion you pay for is small so that's why there's a three stars ): but if i'm craving thai food on my shift, it hits the spot!

I'm impressed. The food is so good. We got the beef salad and pad see ew chicken. Its some of the best I've had. Everything is fresh, flavorful and cooked just right. I didnt expect a place called "you & i" to be this good. I will be coming back.

This place was a random hit. Found it last minute and checked it out and I must say it didn't disappoint. My god was it good. The place was nice and had great selection of food. The staff was super nice and the atmosphere was really friendly and ethnic. I got a thai tea with boba that was delicious!!! For my order I got the broccoli in oyster sauce with both chicken and shrimp with a side of jasmine rice. Perfection!!! Presentation and taste was superb!!! And decently priced. I am a fan and I can't wait to come back and try the curry they have!!! My friend got the yellow curry and it was amazing... I feel like I should have gotten that instead because I was in the mood for some great curry. So much to choose from in the menu and so little time haha. You will be seeing me again!! Thank you!!

I felt like I got a good deal with the lunch price. Small salad, thing of rice and pad thai. I had to take some of it to go. The food wasn't the most spectacular thai food I've had but it'll do when I'm craving some thai food when I'm in the area. The service was pretty good-they brought me everything in a timely manner which is always appreciated. The inside was clean, cool and dark which I liked, especially with construction and bustling streets packed with cars outside. P.S. They gave me a LOT of chicken in my pad thai...stocky girl needs her protein...thanks!

I love this place because it's cheap, it tastes great, and the staff is very friendly. I've ordered delivery from there as well and they always come pretty quick. My favorites from here are the Pad see ew, pad Thai, and the fried tofu ! The Thai tea is also really good, it's not too sweet and it comes with mini boba.

when this place first opened, the food was nasty. i recently found them on grubhhub and tried them again. giving a 2nd chance doesn't hurt, right? i am so glad i did! i don't know if they changed management, but the food is flavorful, and they are not skimpy on their proteins! the delivery man is very very nice :) those of you who had the same experience as i did, come back and give them another try! :))

Really confused as to why this place only has 3 1/2 stars. I've been going to this place for a few years now and have seen them transform their what used to be a sort of hole-in-the-wall food joint into a fairly quaint little restaurant with its own charming ambiance. But it's not their interior that makes them a good restaurant, but their food that has consistently been delicious! This place hooked me from the first bite with their pad thai--nicely tart from tamarind juice and sweet from their palm sugar (none of that ketchup crap!)--and their boat noodle soup--super savory and complex beef-based soup and yummy noodles that soak up all that goodness. Those two by itself are honestly so good that it's taken my family and I until earlier this year to branch out and try some of their menu items, and we're so glad we did! So far we've tried their fish cake, sweet angel wings, all their curries, their sate chicken and bbq ribs, their tom yum seafood noodle soup and their pad kee mao. Their fish cake is pretty decent, but it comes in skewers rather than actual fish cakes like the picture on their menu, their sweet angel wings are MASSIVE... like stuffed chicken wings on steroids and fried-- super crunchy and tasty! The best curry of the bunch for me is their panang curry, but personally, all their curries sort of have a similar coconut milky taste, so choose whichever curry you want. Their chicken sate is amazing! Lean, but incredibly moist and flavorful-- dipped in their peanut sauce and you're in heaven! BBQ ribs are super moist and succulent and meaty! I even like their salad dressing that comes with the side salad you get-- creamy, sweet and tangy! Their tom yum seafood noodle soup is pretty good too-- nice and limey and spicy-- and is a lighter tasting soup than the more complex flavors from their boat noodle soup. And oh my god their pad kee mao.... where has it been all my life? Nice and thick chewy rice noodles saute'd with garlic, chili, and basil? Hell yes. I'm craving it right now just thinking about it good lawd.... The only problem with this place is that sometimes their service isn't very good. It really depends on who's working though. The times that I've gone that (I think) their manager was there (this tall, gentle Thai guy), the service was super good. He has a genuine smile on his face, checks up on you to ask you how the food is, and even kneels down so he can make eye contact with you and make sure he's taking all your orders correctly and on point. If he isn't around, the other servers range from decent service to let's-try-to-avoid-the-customer-and-let-another-server-handle-them. Overall though, if you can make the trip to Anaheim, definitely try this place out! They have the best pad thai, boat noodle soup, and pad kee mao compared to all the other thai places I've tried before. Prices are fairly cheap, service is pretty decent for the most part, and food is bomb!

The food is decent thai bbq. There are other thai food restaurant places that are better. I gave it one star because I did not like the overall service. Our server completely did not put in the our correct order. She rather chit chat to her coworkers rather than get back to me to let me know what was going on. I also showed her the picture of the menu and wanted the same thing, but when I got my order it was completely different from the picture ( false advertisement) or she just really messed up our order.

So we go in get seated and we wait. And wait. And wait. Finally after 10 mins somebody comes to take our order. We ordered both our drinks and food because we didn't want to wait even longer for our food. Drinks come out. I ordered a Thai tea, when I drank from it it was room temperature. It had very little ice in it too. Then the food came and it all tasted really good. I ordered pad Thai and my friend ordered yellow curry. After about 10 minutes of eating she gasped and i was like WHAT?! & she showed me a small sticker in her food. We think it was a sticker from fruit like they have at the market. All in all I think it was a bad experience but I'm willing to give it another try just because I think we had bad luck that time. Our waiter was nice enough to give us another order of yellow curry.

Was really hoping that trying a new place would turn out well and it just didn't. Phad Thai with chicken and shrimp- chicken has a funky odor, pretty bland even with asking for it to spicy. Bean spouts with blackheads= not fresh/on its way to bad. Noodles overcooked and amount seemed like they just needed to get rid of it. This I agree but not on my expense. Beef panang- had the correct consistency but chunks of beef was a turnoff and even though menu says bell peppers it came with peas instead.. I hate peas. Didn't come with rice was fail #5. I was starving and even when starving it was just not... Good.. First and last.

At first I was hesitant to order because of the 3.5 stars, but now I do not think that the 3.5 is right, because this place is great. I've never eaten at the restaurant, but I order pretty regularly from You & I thai now. Not only do they deliver, but their delivery time is usually 10+ minutes ahead of the estimated time, and the food gets to me just like it was just cooked. Their sate is my favorite, both the beef and the chicken. I also really enjoy their combination appetizer. Everything I have ordered has been great-- love the BBQ ribs too. My only complaint is that it's a bit pricier than I prefer, but even still, I keep returning.

Lunch specials are amazing! Their Pad Thai is incomparable, and I normally don't order Pad Thai because places don't make it good. I ordered it with chicken and it was on point. The only gripe I have is that when I had yellow curry from the lunch special, the potatoes weren't even cooked all the way. It seems like all Thai food places have undercooked potatoes in their curry. :/

Online orders are super fast. I can order online and its ready by the time I drive to the restaurant. Plus, theres always a few good deals on GrubHub ($5 off here, $3 off there). The portions are huge and the food is always delicious.

I'm not really sure why this place has less than 4 stars, but I guess I'll have to balance that out. I've been here a handful of times now, and I've tried a few different things on the menu. Most of it has been pretty good- the tom yum soup, pad thai, bbq short ribs (which, by the way, is very tender but has really great smokey flavor... they have it on lunch special and you should check it out). Portion sizes won't blow you away, but it's not overly expensive either. So the best thing I've had here is easily the pad see ew. I'm not going to vouch for its authenticity because I'm not Thai nor am I a Thai food connoisseur, but it's really one of the best or the best pad see ews I've had. They coax a lot of flavor into the chicken (my meat of choice) and there's a distinctly garlicky taste to the whole dish that I really enjoy. I think they do a good job of not overcooking the noodles, but they do a good job cooking the vegetables enough for them to be tender. Everything definitely tastes fresh from the chicken to the veggies, which is always a good thing. So all in all, I think this is a really solid place, and I work in the area so it's easy for me to stop by for a quick bite. Not sure why it's not rated overall a bit higher, but it really should be.

Came here when it was during their off-time, so there weren't that many people there. My friends and I needed a place to catch up and we ended up here because one of my friends recommended it. It's a cute place with a nice atmosphere. We ended up ordering the PAD THAI and the PAD SEE EW (basically, only the two main Thai dishes I order at every Thai restaurant). Both dishes were brought out in a timely order and were both beautifully presented. The PAD THAI was well created and after mixing it, it tasted great -- sweet, a little bit sour due to the lemon, and had a decent amount vegetables and shrimp (there are other PAD THAI OPTIONS - CHICKEN, BEEF, TOFU, but we chose SHRIMP). The PAD SEE EW was also delicious. Most places have salty pad see ew, but this place, the PAD SEE EW was sweet and that's just the way I like it (I like sweet flavors compared to other people who may like salty flavors). It also had a lot of broccoli to balance out the meat in the dish. Portioning was less than other Thai places, but I could tell the difference in taste, it tasted a lot better even though there was less. My cousin also ordered HOT TEA to drink, while I ordered a round of water. The HOT TEA came out in this really cool canister where you're able to mix the tea whenever you want to by pushing a contraption up and down. That was pretty neat. Would not mind traveling here to get Thai food again even though it may be out of the ways.

I have eaten here or taken out from here at least 20 times. This was our favorite Thai place till now. The food has changed, I don't know if they got a new cook or not but the food definitely has changed. The Pad Thai and Pad See ew were both dry and lacked flavor. The Yum Yai salad just was not the same. Probably won't be coming back.

I love this place. I've never actually been in the restaurant, but I order take out from them at least every other month. Sometimes it takes a little while to get my food, but it's always worth it. Everything I ask for, they deliver. I sometimes ask for light bean sprouts in my pad thai and they always make it perfectly. Great food!

Cute little restaurant in an Asian plaza. Service wasn't bad, the guy that seemed to run the whole front of the restaurant checked up on us every now and then. We ordered a small tom ka kai, which was delicious! Usually they would ask how spicy, but this place didn't. I also tried out beef larb, which wasn't bad at all, but I still prefer chicken. They do have a lunch special, $7, which I recommend, because otherwise it would be at least $9 for a plate. I would come back if I ever needed a Thai food fix around this area. I would prefer this place, and other smaller Thai restaurants over Sweetee Thai any time!

Previously, maybe a year or two ago, I would have given it a 5 star. But now, service has gone down. Not very attentive even when not busy. Food taste has maintained to good but the service distracts so I don't enjoy as much as before.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years. Service has never been bad. In fact the staff here's the nicest I've come across. There's free Wi-Fi and the pad see ew and chili fried rice is almost as good as my Thai bff's homemade one. Always super sweet to my kids too and they are on eat 24.

they are great for catering! As I love thai food, I wanted it for my bridal shower. Joe was so attentive to my order and everything tasted great! Even my parents, who eat nothing but korean, loved it! I ordered a tray each of pad thai, pad see ew, combo fried rice, beef & chicken satay. so yummy. dont forget to ask for the jalapeno's in the vinegar!

Had a craving for some Thai food for lunch one day at work. Sad part is that there is no Coconut bay or Banana Bay near work. Looked around and this place seemed decent. Decided to try my usual favorite Thai dish; Pad See Ew. Put in the order and picked up during lunch time. I got the chicken pad see ew. The food looked great! unfortunately the taste was a bit bland. The noodles seem a bit oily but not too much where some complaining needs to be done. Pretty OK lunch I had that day... Came back again couple of weeks with the same urge for Thai food, this time I got the Beef Pad See Ew. Omg I couldn't believe how much different it was in taste. So much better than the Chicken one. Trying the beef one really changed my perspective on this place, might come back for some more or even for some Beef Panang.

We came here since the Chinese restaurant that we were looking for was closing for the day. We are not knowledgeable about Thai food and this Thai place was near. We ordered pork and cheese fried wontons as appetizers (they were very good!), Mongolian Beef, Beef Teriyaki, and Beef Curry cooked with coconut milk. The food's taste was good, portions were ok, but it had few pieces of meat in contrast with the vegetables. The service was friendly. The restaurant was ok but not great.

The food tastes good. I like it. I always order delivery and they're really quick, especially if it's not lunch/dinner time. But when I ordered from the during a lunch time, they messed up the pad see ew. Oh and it was that one time, but their packed mini hot sauce had mustard here and there so that was unpleasing.

I give them a 3 1/2 star rating on food and service. Class ended early so I went here for lunch. It was ok, not the best Thai food I've had but I'd eat here again for lunch since they have a good deal. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch special and added Tom Kha soup (spelling?) for an additional $3. I'd like to try more items from the menu and then I'll update my review.

I have been here several times with my friends. I consider this place a bargain for great food. It follows the typical rush hour trends of being fully packed out to being the only one in the restaurant. You should plan your time to wait for your order accordingly. I found telling the waitress how much time we had for lunch or reminding them we needed our food soon helped speed up our order. They are so reasonable, they only have a measly 35 cent fee for using a credit card for order below $10. Then they coupon cards opposite their register for $5 off online take-out order of $10 or more! How can you beat that?! I believe they are the lowest price of all Thai restaurants I've seen, such as lunch specials on the back page of the menu for $6.95-$7.25 (including curries), specials written on a blackboard on the front wall of the store and sometimes posted on the front door. The black board specials are really nice because you actually get 2 dishes in one: Phad Thai with you choice of 5 other dishes for around $11.95. The taste of the food is very good and the portion size is usually generous. I feel the mint and spiciness could be stronger on their dishes; after not getting dishes as hot as I liked it, I asked for them to make it as hot as they could and I would say it ranked a 6-7/10 instead of 10/10 and I noticed once the hot spice was not mixed in, but laying at the bottom of my curry, and I could eat it straight without raising an eyebrow. I also had a friend who avoids much spice and usually gets food too hot for her take my advice to order it hotter than her normal choice and she said it was just right. Despite my criticisms, I still give it 5 stars for great taste for the money, nice waitresses, clean and relaxing décor.

Came here with my gf for dinner on a Friday night. This review based on food, ambience, service, and price. We had the following items: Boat noodle soup Tom yum noodle soup Calamari (inedible) And shrimp wraps Food: the food comes out extremely slow. We were waiting for about 25 minutes to get our appetizer, the calamari. We decided to order calamari because it was the 5.99 special. This was a big mistake and my mouth hurt trying to chew through the hard over cooked batter. We had to send it back. We got the shrimp wraps instead. These were significantly better but they failed to mention that the price was 2 dollars more. This was very disappointing after it was their mistake for sending us cold and inedible calamari. The server suggested the shrimp wraps and also made an excuse as to why the calamari was so tough, by stating "it was cold now." We couldn't even eat it when it was hot and I was extremely hungry. The boat noodle was pretty good. It had a rich beef taste and seemed very fresh. It was the only redeeming feature of the meal and why the place got 2 stars and not 1. The Tom yum noodle soup was very gross. It had a weird aftertaste and was overpowered by the amount of lemon they put in. Do not get. Service: the service was terrible. The whole restaurant was full of people waiting for food or to pay, yet there were no servers in sight. when they servers did come out, they would simply sit new customers and proceed to walk to the back. They came out only to drop off food and while walking to the back asked people how they were doing. Very inattentive and we ended up spending over an hour at the restaurant, mostly waiting. Ambience: the place is loud and not a good place to bring a date on the weekend. The walls have a dark color and pictures of the same flowers throughout. Very boring and unoriginal. Also, the place was well lit and had not very romantic. Price: everything came out to be about 35 dollars with tip. I think the pricing is a little high for 3 dishes and we felt robbed bc we got upcharged after sending the inedible calamari. Overall: not a pleasant experience here. Would not come back. They do have a delivery service for those who live nearby and want to eat some Thai food.

Great thai food at a good price. They also deliver if you don't live too far away. The seafood here isn't that great, but their curry dishes are very good. They also have some house specials that are worth trying. Customer service wise they have always been good. No complaints there.

All I can say is WOW! I was craving Chinese/Thai food last night & I was looking up places that deliver. I called several places but some were closed. I call this place & asked if they deliver. SURE DO! I called & they were very nice & friendly. I ordered the Pad See Ew & the Spicy Basil Squid with a large lemonade. They asked me how spicy I would like the squid. It was for my boyfriend so I asked him. He said he wanted it mild. Who knew their mild was SPICY! It was delicious though I must add. The pad see ew was the best I have ever had. When I got my food it was still HOT. (Temperature hot.) very good considering I had it delivered. The lemonade was delicious. All around very good. The man who delivered my food was also very friendly. I will definitely be ordering from here again soon.

As always, great service and amazing food. The Thai tea with bobba could be better. I wish they had delivery. The Pad See Ew is the bomb! Usually I order medium when they ask how spicy at the restaurants, but here, medium is not spicy at all. Chicken coconut soup is very good as well, And also, the prices are really reasonable!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! My family and I are loyal customers. On the average, we eat here at least twice a month. The staff are super nice! We like ordering a combination of chicken and beef sate, pineapple fried rice, dearest crab, pad Thai, tom kha, and tom yum. The place doesn't really have an ambiance, but the quality of food makes up for it. The price is apt for the quality of food! Great serving sizes!

If you happened to stumble onto this place because you were shopping at 99 Ranch or used your yelp app to find nearby restaurants, you are in luck. This is probably the best restaurant in this plaza. Unlike most types of food, there is good and bad. With thai, it has always be good and better. I do appreciate of using more vegetables I their noodle dishes so it's not just meat and noodles. The dish I have pictured is the Pad Ew Mao I think. There is a chili pepper next to the item on the menu for a reason. Even though I got "mild" it still managed to get 2-3 alarms. I will for sure be back here.

The workers here are really friendly, and they always recognize me and my mom. The prices are fairly cheap. My dad loves their thai beef boat noodle soup spicy and he tries to get it at least once a week, which is how the workers came to know us. I really like their chicken satay for lunch. Pretty much every experience I've had here was great except this one time I called in to order. In that one particular time an old guy answered and he would yell back at me after I finished ordering something.

Love! Free delivery with low min.order. never ate inside. Delivery only and every time it was perfect. Faves are the Orange chicken on a stick! Pineapple fried rice, Pad see mao, and the cream cheese won tons are soo good and the sauce is sooo good. The food is fresh and not too salty. Great amount of heat if you ask for spicy. The chili fried rice is really good too and ohh sooo spicy. I've been getting delivery for around two years approx 2 times a month and will continue. The ribs were the only thing so far that I can do without because they are overcooked. They give a lot of food during delivery especially the rice dishes. Two of us usually eat for two days on around $25.

Best pad thai and pad see eww I've ever tasted. Service was fast and courteous with a smile. You cannot beat a $5.95 for a non lunch full order. Thai food this good out in north county Anaheim can't be found anywhere else! The only thing lacking is the decor and cleanliness. only reason it got 4 stars and not 5.

My first impression of this place was how quiet it is when I first walked in. The place looked clean and even a little elegant. I took a look at the menu and saw that everything were decently priced from $6 to $10. We decided to ordered the pad thai and the seafood fried rice. Pad thai: 4.5/5 Noodles were nice and silky. The chicken was freshly cut. It was delicious except it could use a little more peanut taste. Seafood fried rice: 5/5 The portion was huge (enough for two people). Tasted like any good fried rice should taste like! They weren't stingy on the seafood part either like many other places. Taro boba: 5/5 Recommended for anyone who likes small (smaller than mini boba) boba and taro milk tea. The taro flavor was not overwhelming nor was the drink overly sweet so it was a perfect combo.

The standard for me by which all Thai restaurants are judged. First of all, their lunch specials run all day and they are a killer deal for the price. I don't know what kind of dressing is on the salad but it is to die for. Some kind of lemony goodness. Secondly, their food is just delicious. The service in the restaurant is always good, even when they're busy. The cream cheese wontons are TO DIE FOR. Pretty much the only thing I don't like here is their orange chicken, and that's just because it was a little weird for me, being served as a kabob and it was a little dry. Other than that, everything is just plain awesome! They sell the salad dressing and the sweet and sour sauce in jars at the front counter, by the way!

Sunday dinner with Mom =) We have a big family, so when we have family gatherings, we usually cook a dish each. This time around, it was an impromptu gathering and we just decided to get take out food. Thai food is the perfect cuisine for this kind of feast. You & I Thai is in the same plaza as 99 Ranch Market. I've had the food here on a few occassion and it's always been good. Service was fast. We place an order for 10 different dishes (x2). 20 total dishes and it was ready within 30 minutes. Awesome. Here's the rundown: *Shrimp Wrap - winnner winner chicken (shrimp) dinner. Delicious! *Tom Yum Goong - not as sour IMO, but still good. *Thai Rice Noodle Soup - first time having this one. It was really good. *Rad Nar - Wow. This was my favorite dish of the night. The flavor was just outstanding. *Pad Thai (chicken) - it was on the dry side. *Pad See Ew (shrimp) - not a fan of this one. Shrimp was cooked perfectly though *BBQ Spare Rib - Flavor was good. It was not as tender as I'm used to, but still good *BBQ Chicken - Great bbq flavor. Yum *Panang Beef - The panang curry was super good. The beef (cubes) were just so so. It didn't seem to me that the beef was cooked with the curry together. (boiled beef, mixed with the curry later?) *Chicken Satay - Super tender and flavorful. Satay sauce was on the weak side though. Rating 3 1/2 Stars. Rounding up for the quick service. I love Thai food and You & I Thai Cuisine was the right remedy for our Thai food cravings. Yum! 2015 Review #99

My boyfriend and I order pick up here literally on a weekly basis, idk why I haven't given them a review before!!! We love them, service is great and they're great people; I actually know the spot because it's my parents' preferred spot too. GREAT PORTIONS Our favorites are the Tom yum shrimp (large if course) with a side of noodles, and the pad see ew w beef, but going with the rents is fun because we always get like 5 entrees, seriously. They also reliever within 3 mile radius, and we're outside it but it's worth the 13 min drive!

On my recent trip here I have to say I was fairly disappointed. I've been to You & I Thai before and was looking forward to another evening of yummy Thai food. Once I entered, it was dead silent. There were patrons, but they were either talking very softly or not talking at all. No music was playing in the background so that added to the quietness. The ambiance was very awkward and uninviting to say the least. My cousin and I decided to share the chicken pad thai and pad see ew. The dishes came out promptly and upon first look the dishes looked quite appetizing. After the first bite, my impression quickly changed. The noodles were dried and clumped up together. The chicken was dry on both dishes. In the past I've had their pad thai and pad see ew and I recall it being much better. Maybe it was an off day? None the less, the consistency in quality was not there. The price was very decent, approximately $16 for both dishes without tax/tip. I would consider paying a bit more for better quality. For now I don't see myself returning and that's unfortunate since I really enjoyed them during my past visits.

Good lunch, good portion, good price, and good service! Im surprised this place doesnt have better reviews! $6.95 lunch special Pad Thai came with rice and garden salad. The salad had a unique white, light dressing. It tasted like coconut milk with fish sauce? It may not sound good but it was! My $3 thai tea with mini boba was strong and good. Boba was soft and chewy. Came for a late lunch and my food was brought almost immediately. Service was quick and friendly. I even took home a doggie bag! Yelp 100 Challenge! 2015: 20/100

I enjoy eating at "you and I Thai" and it never disappoints me. Food is good and the price is pretty reasonable. I haven't really tried many Thai restaurants but this seems to be pretty good and my go to when I need to satisfy my oriental cravings. Lol I do recommend their pad see ew and their seafood soup. Definitely worth trying! They also have young coconut!! One of my favorite things there =$

The Thai Boat noodles here are the best around this area. I had the Tom Yum Noodle serves with pork and the regular Thai Boat Noodle serves with beef. They're not very spicy and very tasty. Those are my favorites here. They always has the Special Combination with Pad Thai and your choice of Angle Wing, Satay Beef/Chicken, BBQ, etc. from $11-$14 bucks. Serves with a salad. Their Pad Thai is decent, it remind me of the little street stall Pad Thai in Bangkok, similar to Spice Thai's Pad Thai. Their other dishes are okay, not incredibly amazing, but their Thai Boat Noodles are the reason I keep coming back. The service are great with that famous Thai smile. They also deliver within 3 miles for order of more than $15. I live just a tat bit outside of that range so that suck. Warning!!! The "Pink Soup Noodle" is very stinky. It smell like Stinky Tofu if you ever had that then you'll know what I mean. I couldn't finish the bowl. It smell like gym socks or some kind of mildew.

My favorite Thai food in OC. I don't know but their pad Thai is the best I've had. Their pad see ew is solid too. Thai tea on point too. I wouldn't eat Thai food anywhere else. Friendly servers!
