Horrible service, they cannot handle a crowd that's for sure. The employees seemed miserable and pissed off at one another. Not a pleasant environment. There is no sense of urgency, something that should take a second if you actually move your ass, takes an unnecessary 5 minutes. Food is nothing special, drinks are your usual bar drinks. Overall, I could do without this place. Needs some severe remodeling and better management.

They have a nice breakfast menu here. I tried the Beef Machaca, and it was very good. Shredded beef, served with eggs, rice and beans. Side orders of Guacamole and sour cream come with it.

We went here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Aside from a table of 4 seniors getting ready to leave, my gf and I were the only people there. Despite this fact, the service was incredibly slow. The server was nice enough but clearly didn't know anything about beer. I'm guessing she had never heard the word "hefeweizen" prior to our placing our order - not a good sign for a place calling itself a bar & grill. They didn't have the first 3 beers my gf ordered from their drink menu. This required the server walking to and from the bar repeatedly to ask the bartender if they had what ever my gf ordered or coming back tot he table to ask to be reminded of what drinks were ordered. On to the food. If you're a senior or have a nostalgic fondness for public school cafeteria food, this may be the place for you. I ordered a pasta dish, which was okay but nothing I couldn't make myself at home. My gf ordered a tilapia sandwich and got an unseasoned piece of grilled fish on an untoasted bun with no dressing of any kind. This sandwich cost as much as if she'd ordered an actual seafood dinner. Not only was the food bland and badly executed, it took over 40 minutes to get it. How is that possible in a near empty restaurant? BOTTOM LINE: If you're jonesing for a good beer paired with good food, go to the Pint House or Prison Hill.

I ate here for brunch. They have a lot of breakfast options and the lunch menu looked so good I was tempted to order lunch instead. They serve alcohol do you can get a mimosa or Bloody Mary with your brunch. They also have smoothies. The service was good and the atmosphere is pleasant. Good for groups and children.

We had supper here and really enjoyed it. We both had the Camp Fire Steak which were served on cast iron piping hot and stayed hot the duration of the meal. My wife had their margaritas which got high praise from her. We both had cupcake style deserts that were delicious. Service was very good. They also have a bar with live music, but it is separated from the dining room so you don't have to deal with loud music unless you want to. One of the best things about this restaurant is all the old photographs showing the history of Yuma. There are also vintage railroad objects scattered throughout the restaurant. I would definitely eat here again.

Very very poor breakfast. Eggs overCooked, bacon and sausage undercooked plus took way way too long to get our food.

All I can say about this place is the customer service was horrible. Out and about on 4/13/14 looking for a place showing the Pacquio vs Bradley fight my friend and I decided to try out this place and enjoy the fight and a few beers. Sat at the bar and had the worst bartender off all time I wish I had her name but she was that unfriendly very unprofessional, she acted as though she did not want to be at work and was going to let everyone know when we would order another round it was like we asked for her first born. Left after two beers and went down the road to Applebees to see the fight. This place lost my business and I do not recommend anyone going back.

Only have been for breakfast, but always have received great service, excellent food, and extreme value for the prices charged.

Ok, this is my "go-to" breakfast place in Yuma. Not anymore. When they changed the menu, they changed the portion size. I didn't know that omelettes came as sliders or sizes thereof. hash browns; can you hash brown, leave out the plural, cause you get just one. The food is ok. So, will that be my first choice? these travellin' will walk on by.

Travel to Yuma for work couple times a month and always come here at least once usually more. Real good food and prices. Come with the guys from work and Yuma customers. Everyone is very friendly!

I was staying at the Best Western - Coronado Motel and I was given free breakfasts at the Yuma Landing, I tried dinner there the night I arrived and breakfast the next morning. Both times I was sick after I had eaten there. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. They do have a bar, but I did not try the bar out.

I'll just say this little restaurant has it's own style. Not bad but not at the top of my list either. The last night of a very long road trip I did not want to get in the truck and drive anywhere for dinner after checking into the Best Western Coronado Motor Inn next door so I walked down to the Yuma Landing for dinner. I had potato skins which were tasty with plenty of cheese and bacon atop 3 healthy sized cuts of potatoes. I also had Pasta alfredo with chicken. The flavor was okay but it was just swimming in sauce. Service was very attentive. Since the hotel gave a free breakfast voucher, I went back for breakfast. I wasn't much in the mood for what the voucher covered but I ordered it anyways and made a bacon and egg sandwich to take on the road with me. For breakfast I ordered french toast and it was good. Service wasn't as good as at dinner, but overall it was fine.

YAY!! GOOD food in YUMA!! Finally!!! =) The Landing has a historical background to it in that it was the landing of the first plane ever to land in the state of Arizona back in 1911! My coworkers dub this place like a family sports bar, which I totally agree. They have a group seating area and a bar area which has group seating as well. On Tuesdays, they have trivia night! =D Menu is short and simple - tacos, steaks, broiled meats, nachos, smoothies and even some breakfast items!! =) I ordered the Yuma rolled taco which uses local beef ...rolled up in a tortilla and fried. Yep it's a taquito!!! I got their 3 pieces for $3. YUM! I love how it wasn't greasy and the shell just slightly crispy...made fresh! It came with guac, sour cream and salsa. Everyone in our group loved their meal too. =) I was so happy with the meal that I ordered a cheesecake for dessert too. =) .... Service was awesome; our waitress was really friendly. =) BTW... domestic beers are $1 during happy hour!

They are getting more than one star only because they show the UFC fights (no cover charge) Food was bland and over priced. Service was forgettable. I actually ate elsewhere before coming here to watch the fight. There is some interesting old timey decor, which is kitschy and cool-ish.

I rolled into Yuma after a really long day of work. This was the closest restaurant to my hotel, and I specifically checked to make sure I wouldn't be showing up to this place too close to closing time. Because I'm polite like that. Blame my parents. I showed up at 8:30PM, figuring I was golden, since they didn't close until 10PM. There was nobody else there, other than the employees, most of whom were in the bar, sounding and acting like a horde of thoroughly drunken frat bros. There was also one employee sitting in the dark closer to the entrance. He may have also been drunk, but at least he was quiet. I perused the historical photo collection on the walls for at least five minutes before a guy showed me to a table and informed me I could only get fried stuff. My innate politeness wavered. "I thought you were open until 10PM." I semi-growled. "I thought we were, too." he replied, weakly. He left, and I spent another ten minutes reading over my now quite limited menu options. I'd looked at the menu online, and after my long day, I was totally in the mood to drop some money on a big old steak and all the fixings and a few glasses of wine. The idea of wings or potato skins or a fried quesadilla was seriously disappointing. At any rate, it turned out to be a moot point because after ten minutes with no further evidence of service, I got up and left. I travel through Yuma fairly regularly, and this was my first attempt at Yuma Landing. I sure as hell won't be landing there ever again.

We were recently in there & decided to try food outside our usual. The street tacos & chicken wings are pretty good.

Good ribs, avoid the fish as the sea bass we ordered was beginning to spoil.

Yuma Landing Restaurant - An Historical Spot yumalanding.com/history.… June 29, 2009 1 Star for Decor .9 Star for Cleanliness .7 Star for Service 1 Star (of 2)for Food This restaurant is partnered with the Coronado Motor Hotel, providing the complimentary hot and cold breakfasts. The food is decent. American and Mexican-American foods. I've eaten here before and I'll come back again. My table mates have eaten up steak, chicken fried steak, burgers, biscuits and gravy and apple pie. My fare has been egg/meat/toast or oatmeal/toast breakfasts. I also had a burger, banana split, chicken salad sandwich and apple pie. I tasted no sodium bisulfite preservative on my dinner salad. This place also has a bar and pool room and lots of television panels providing imagery from all directions. The uniqueness of the Yuma Landing is the history on its walls. I've stayed at the Best Western Travelodge Coronado about a dozen times over the years and always taken advantage of the breakfast voucher which they provide for Yuma Landing Bar & Grill. I can't speak for the lunches. Breakfast and dinner have always been great--- except for the service. Tuesday and this morning's breakfast service were abysmal... sorry: non-existent. With a hostess, one waitress, and at least two people at work in the kitchen, I had to go looking for our waitress three times during breakfast. With one other couple in the room at the time, her absence wasn't due to work overwhelm. Next time I am in Yuma, I will try one of the other colorful motels on Historic Old Highway 80 (now 4th Avenue) and dine near them.

Another great find while overnighting in Yuma. Wonderful basic dinner and yummy breakfast, c/o the best western. The decor was equally interesting and illustrated quite a bit of yuma's past in picture form.

Great, friendly staff who treated our kids well. Loved the decor, and it looks like their bar renovation will be really nice. Nachos were yummy, but we weren't fond of the Caesar salad. Draught beers were fresh and icey cold. Looks like a good place to watch the games. We'll definitely stop here again on our next pass through Yuma.

We stayed at the Best Western and received breakfast voucher here, and I was pleasantly surprised by the "quaint" decor and Menu A's quality: very clean and fresh. I read other comments, but I can definitely say Menu A was good. And the service was pretty good also.

Simple menu. Despite their advertising cappucinos, it's just instant. Food is, at the very best, mediocre. The historical tribute is interesting.

Nice sports bar with good food, big tvs and a projection screen, off track betting, different variety of tables and booths, cheap drinks every day, and totally separate restaurant. The bar can sit large groups. The restaurant is big. This is easy to find. It's nicer then most of the bars in Yuma. It's updated, nice atmosphere and casual. A lot of the bars in Yuma are old and run down. Was really glad to find this place. The drinks were inexpensive and the specials are all day, every day. Mixed well drinks are $2.00. Draft domestic beers are $1.50. Bottles $3.00. My husband got a vodka / redbull for $2.00. This is unheard of. They have big tvs in plenty of places. The food was very good. Had about 14 wings for $6.00. My husband's burger was large, juicy, and great taste. If you're looking for a sports bar with good food, tvs, and great drink specials, this is it. A lot of the other bars have no specials at all. There's plenty of room for families on the restaurant side. The food is reasonably priced.

Just ok food, a little high priced for what you get, and service was only ok. Nothing outstanding, nothing to avoid, just another passable diner. There are better places in Yuma, but, there are worse as well.

Bloody Mary's and breakfast on Saturday ... Breakfast this morning before heading back to San Diego... Always good food.. Service is a little on the slow side but the food is worth the wait

Service was good, food weak at best. Probably frozen rolled tacos and tasteless rice and beans. Free appetizer for checking in, nothing special. Cheap tortilla chips covered in canned cheese and nacho jalapenos from a jar. Decor is pretty neat, a lot of history. They need to get the food up to par.
