Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Having grown up in Tucson, I miss Round Table Pizza so much. And I suspect Yuma's might be the last one in Arizona. I try to get some any time I am ever near one. There is something about RTP that just cannot be described, you just have to experience it. Maybe it is the crispiness of the pepperoni... Every time I manage to get to a Round Table I am happy I did. Some of the ones I California were nicer than this one (Yuma's location was a little dirty when I visited) but I will take what I can get an be happy about it. Their pricing though is a little out of whack. I won't say it isn't worth it, but $18+ for a 2 topping non-specialty Large (not even an XL) is pretty steep at the end of the day. I miss Round Table. Especially the dark cozy ones I remember as I kid with the stained glass lamps above each table and the faux suits of armor and shields around the walls. Good times.

I have only been to Round Table twice. The first time I went, I was surprised for how dirty the place was. It had a strong odor, and everything was just incredibly dirty. This issue made it hard for me to eat my pizza, which was really good, in peace. Like I mentioned, the pizza was good, but noting special. However, this was about three years ago. I should give it another try.

Great lunchtime experience. Super friendly staff, good food and they even had sports center on! Thank you!

Very much edible. That's always a plus. Then it is also kinda good. Another plus humans usually go for. And the topper, it's pizza. Sold. But seriously, I think it's ok pizza, great for gatherings amongst fellow comrades to discuss business in your League of Legends videogame team or like a book club meeting to discuss how Fifty Shades of Grey is absolutely horrible in terms of how women are perceived in society. Rich handsome guy that only wants you and completely babies you? Really? What is this Twilight? Oh, well anyways yeah good pizza.

After reading all the reviews I thought this would be some good pizza. I was so wrong I ate 1 slice and half of a bread stick before I threw in the towel. It has nothing to do with me coming from New York their pizza is terrible, cheese is plastic, no flavor to the Sause, and the dough is just undercooked. Plus the inside is a Pizza Hut/ kinda chucky cheese slammed into one terrible idea. Don't go there!

Round Table is my go to place for pizza in Yuma! It's not nasty fast food pizza like Pizza Hut and Dominoes. The people are very approachable and likeable. Even after my wife moved here and stated she hated pizza sauce (who does she think she is, right?) We can still go there because of the different sauces they put on the pizza! (Garlic Ranch being the one we ate) I recommend if you go there, eat at the one round table they have. It gives you the full effect of the name and shape of the pizza making it more enjoyable!

I've Tasted Better Pizza I Did Not Like It!:( Sin Chiste la Pizza! Never Returned!, Service Wasn't To Good Either...

Eat here regularly. Staff is always pleasant and offers great service. I think anything over a personal pizza ($5.89) is a bit pricey though ($11 for a small when you can get a large for $7 at Papa Johns or Dominoes? and close to $25 for an XL? Say whaaat? That's ridiculous!) But I have to say their pizzas are good and they offer a lot of variety, especially with sauces (like pesto, bbq, garlic, Polynesian etc.) I stick with the personal and it's all good. =)

I love Round Table Pizza... This location offers fantastic service and quality pizza. This place was staffed with what looked like a bunch of HighSchool girls but they were very professional and friendly. The bread twists are unmatched by any other pizza place, to include non chains. On the downside you end up paying for all this... But like they say you get what you pay for! Head on down to Round Table Pizza and treat yourself now!

Eh. The pizza here is mediocre at best. Not even close to some of the other pizza parlors in town. This place offers nothing unique or worthwhile to keep coming back. If you want quality, you should go to either Da Boys or Ronnie's. If you're looking for a good price Little Caesar's or Dominoes would be a better choice. It's not terrible, but I can't come up with a single legitimate excuse as to why I should dine at Round Table as opposed to anywhere else in town.

TWO reasons why Round Table gets a 5 from me-- 1) the Italian Garlic pizza--my kids' absolute favorite! 2) the Gourmet Veggie--hubby's and mine! We order these pizzas 1-2x a week, when it's too hot to cook, or when everybody just wants a quick grub while watching DVDs with the kids, us, and the dog in our bed (it's a king-sized bed). LOL I don't care for thick, dough-y crust, so we always order the thin one. Works each time!

Yummy. I love me some Round Table breadsticks.

This is the best pizza I've had in my life. There aren't any locations in the Phoenix area (besides terminal 2 at the airport) so you've got to travel all the way to Yuma just to enjoy it! The sauce is unbelievable, cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms are one of a kind. I stop here every time I go through Yuma!

Hands down, Round Table Pizza is the best pizza chain in town (and the country)! Their gourmet pizzas are absolutely delicious! Go and try it for yourself. 'Nough said!

Round Table Pizza is my favorite pizza chain...ever. It was my first job during college, and the food was phenomenal. Not only were the ingredients fresh, but they focused on making sure the pizza looked like "art" before we served it. Great attention to detail. Now that I don't work there, my favorite pizza is the Gourmet Veggie Delight! "BEST VEGGIE PIZZA EVER" Award in my book. They have a garlic ranch sauce, and it has artichokes, mushrooms, onions, zucchini, tomatoes, spinach and fresh chopped garlic...MMMMMMMMmm.. Anyway, this location in Yuma is great. The service is awesome. They cook the pizzas when you order it. They have plenty of seating. The only reason I gave this place a 4 is because they really need to renovate a little. The tables and benches could/should be refurnished. The benches and tables especially feel like they might fall apart when you sit at them or move them. BUT the food and service - like a said before - is 110%. They serve you at your table when the food is fresh out of the oven. Then they clean up after you. They even check on you every once in awhile to see if you need anything else. We've gone several times since we moved here in July 2010. They have given us complementary drinks a couple times. Also, one time they had a pizza that they made by mistake, and offered to sell it to us for half price. We took it. We walked in just expecting to get their AMAZINGLY YUMMY Garlic Parm Twists - and we got a medium Ulti-Meat as well! All for about $12. Awesomeness. Anyway, one other suggestion for this place is to sell pizza by the slice. We did that at my old job and they flew like hotcakes. It was a great way for people to come for lunch and just buy a slice and a coke for about $4. I can't wait to go back...next paycheck in on the 20th! :)
