Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This place rocks ! I'm from the Midwest and I'm used to Coney dogs. I was in for a surprise the first time I had these. This place is good, cheap, and has friendly prompt service. Couldn't ask for more

Very reasonable and great food! Everything is made fresh, salsa good too. Didn't try the hot dogs but those looked great too.

*** update! So unexpectedly these guys have decided that they are not going to be accountable for their hours and will proudly flaunt signs saying that they are open, even though they are not. Just got here to find that they have decided to start opening at 8:00 AM and closing at 5:00 PM with no warning and also saying that they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays... Really sad because these guys have my business up until now. Really sad when I have to take down a five star review and give someone one star because they have been shady. Amazing Hot Dogs. Best in Yuma by far. Order your hot dogs bacon-wrapped for extra deliciousness and don't worry about toppings because they have plenty inside. Tip: if you are here during winter, order some Tamales for the holiday season! They taste amazing! They advertise that if you want something that is not on the menu that they will make it for you and they always come through with their promise. Expect high-quality, delicious Mexican Food & Hot Dogs in an indoor, family-friendly environment in the Fortuna Foothills area of Yuma, Arizona. We are officially fans!

Just stopped by for lunch. NOT OPEN!!! Sign on doors states they should be. Oh well, probably a "Snowbird" thing. Seems like all the businesses in the Foothills close down when they go home. How bout us locals.

Unpretentious authentic, fresh good food! Intrigued by the bacon wrapped Mexican hotdog but will have to save that for another day. Had the folded tacos and flautas with rice.and beans sprinkled with finely shredded mexi cheese and slices of fresh avocado for $8. Value yum! Will definitely be back!
