Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I came in at 2 p.m. There seemed to be 6 people working and hanging and lounging out by the service counter. One was even sitting on the counter. There was only one other table in the restaurant. I sat down and the table was dirty. I ordered the Sonoran chicken enchiladas. They came out as beef. I questioned it and was told I had ordered beef. It seemed like all the employees were watching tv or socializing. As I was paying, the manager that took my order came out and asked me if I wanted him to make me new enchiladas. Too little too late. Now I know why I have not been back in 8 years. That's the last 13 bucks I spend there ever!!!

Best Carne Asada burrito in Yuma. Best chips and salsa. Awesome burger. Get green chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. Smart!

This is a great neighborhood spot for Mexican food. I had the chili con carne plate it's $8.95 it's a pretty good deal it's very tasty. The chili con carne had a mini little round bone in it which I think is fine because they're slow cooking a big cut of meat and they have bones in them no big deal. It comes with a giant fresh flour or corn tortillas. The beans on the side were creamy and fantastic and slow cooked as well as the rice was moist and delicious! They have lunch specials for $6.95 throughout the week. I believe they are closed on Monday so make sure you don't come on that day. Some of the reviews mention that it was heavy and greasy they do have a healthy section in the menu as well as most Mexican food is heavy so who are we kidding! The service was excellent. The server came right out with a hot basket of chips and fantastic homemade salsa. Parking in this mini mall is easy.

Great Mexican food, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly. It's a nice place to catch a bite to eat especially, when trying to avoid the much busier restaurants that cater to the "touristy" crowd. I had the taco salad which was delicious and very filling. Highly recommend this place.

Our last visit this past March (Midnight at the Oasis car show) was disappointing. The menu had changed to a very abbreviated version, and the food just wasn't the same. Still plentiful, but not the same as before taste-wise. The booths are also quite a bit worse for wear. Yet it's better than any of the other Mexican restaurants in the area we've tried.

A small "hole in the wall" restaurant but the food is delicious and the service friendly and good. Their Chili Rollenos are the best in town.

UPDATE! Hehe. So I think I may have discovered my two new guilty pleasures from Eduardo's: the chicken enchiladas and their rolled tacos. I only tried them once the last time I was in Yuma and they were sooo good. But, before I commit to saying how much I adore them, I must have them again :) So we'll see how things go the next time I'm in Yuma because I'm definitely making a stop at Eduardo's!

Had the enchiladas. They were good. The others in my group also said their meals were tasty. One said it was the best Mexican she has had. Fresh fried chips each time was great. Salsa was watery though. Overall the food was great. Service is a little lacking, but I'd rather mediocre service with good food than the other way around. Atmosphere is dirty and dreary, and makes you wonder if food will be the same, but trust the food is worth it!

If you like deep-fried Mexican food, this is your place. Very tasty, but very heavy. If it is fried, it is freshly and deliciously fried. Short menu with little description of items offered. Our server appeared new and was able to offer little explanation.

This place is a clean storefront restaurant in a strip mall. It's locally owned. The salsa is very good and fresh. The chips are fresh and addictive. The other foods are good but not exceptional. I'd recommend giving it a try. MUCH better than Mexican fast food joints, chain or otherwise.

SUPER slow service, with only one waitress for the entire place. Took a half hour to get my food. HOWEVER, she was super friendly and sweet and gave great service. The carne asada burrito is massive, and was delicious, but they only have 1 size drink for takeout and its only 16 oz. Chips are super fresh and super delicious. Salsa merely ok.

This place is okay... nothing special. It's a bit overpriced and the food, location & service are all mediocre.

I've been coming here for 20+ years. As a kid, it was a frequent place to eat, probably every Friday night. I've since moved to Phoenix, but anytime I visit Yuma, it's one of the must haves (Mr G's and burgers & beer being the others). Their chips and salsa are still the BEST i've had, Phoenix, Yuma, San Diego, New Mexico or anywhere else for that matter. Yeah, the chips are piping hot and fresh outta the deep fryer, but thats what makes them so good. The salsa is fresh and very tasty and I just love the flavor. I always get the combination plate, w/ enchiladas, folded taco, rolled taco, beans & rice. always good. This past time, the rice wasnt as good as I remembered and the enchilada sauce tasted different than normal, but then again, I haven't ate here for 2 years. Its still one of my favorite places to eat when I'm back visiting my old stomping ground.
