What a great discovery in this small, rural community along I-10, east of Flagstaff. Okay, this is not out of this world pizza and the salad bar was pretty standard fare, but we were stoked to find decent food for a great price in an area with limited options. The restaurant was clean too and service was friendly.

I thought about giving this place four stars, but it has two things going for it: good pizza and great customer service. With limited options in Winslow, Captain Tony's is one of the better places to eat. We ordered a pizza but were actually tempted by the buffet ("Pizza buffet? No way...oh, wait, that looks like pretty fresh food"). The pizza was a pan style with a not terribly thick crust - crispy throughout with great tasting toppings. I didn't like the styrofoam cup for my drink, but serves us right for asking for to-go cups instead of the normal dining room cups. The carpet looks as worn as you'd expect in a game arcade/kid friendly restaurant, but the tables, chairs and various ledges were all clean and dust-free. The main dining room is separated from the noise-makers so it isn't an unpleasant experience for cranky adults. The staff gets two big thumbs up, and I'd definitely visit this place again when in Winslow.

If you're in Winslow and craving pizza, go here. Don't go to the local Pizza Hut. The service is consistently pleasant and friendly. The place is much cleaner than the local Pizza Hut. And the food always seems fresh. Great bottled beer selection too if that's your thing, local and afar microbrews.

Noisy, full of kids running around, a bit worn and rough around the edges.. but really decent pizza at a fair price, a welcome find on a weary evening in Winslow. Friendly service too.

Huge amount of craft beer to choose from and your standard pizza selection. We had to Hawaiian pizza w/o olives. It was perfect. We both agreed it was probably the best we have had. This unassuming pizza place will impress you.

My son is having a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pizza Party and I heard they had a TMNT pizza. I imagined maybe they got creative with the toppings, etc. BUT when I called today to ask, I was disconnected and called back. I was then told they don't have this on their menu, and they imagine any type of Pizza could be a TMNT Pizza and to stop calling. A competitor might con$ider this in Winslow because there are parents, like myself, willing to pay a little extra for #1 this type of pizza and #2 some decent customer service.

My wife and I love their lunch buffet. I've been coming here since I was a kid said very nostalgic for me. They are fixing the place up and the food is still great.

Great salad bar! Friendly employees. Fun for the kids. I have also had their chicken wings and pizza delivered. Good quality food!

Food was pretty good! Salad bar had a lot of choices. The employees were extremely friendly and willing to make whatever pizza that we wanted. Even heard them talking to other guests about making gluten-free pizza! Highly recommend it! Wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it certainly was better than a lot of pizzas!

Stopped here on our way to Flagstaff after a busy day at the National Park. Chose it because of the mixed reviews of other places in Holbrook and Winslow. Delicious buffet at a great price. Salad bar contains fresh great tasting produce without a hint of wilt. They will make whatever to add to the pizza buffet choices if your favorite isn't there. Service was excellent. Yelp really pointed us in the right direction with this place. Worth the wait and every penny.

Stopped here for lunch on a road trip. Surprisingly good lunch buffet! They have an arcade in the back so the kids got to play for a while before we had to get back on the road. We make this trip often and will definitely stop to eat here again.

This place is a gem for weary travelers. It's easy access from the interstate, clean and friendly. We had the lunch buffet (all you can eat) and were very pleased. It included two soup choices and a salad bar in addition to four types of pizza. The salad bar included a fresh variety of produce. The interior and restrooms are clean and welcoming.

I haven't eaten here in quite a while, so I'm not sure if things have changed much or not. However, I've been going here since I was a kid and always enjoyed it. The pizza is good, the salad buffet is nice, and of course the arcade room is enjoyable.

Perfect spot for lunch. Not a chain restaurant, and friendly atmosphere. Choose buffet or selection from menu. Vintage arcade games will take you back!

Pizza was good and the prices were also. We came in a couple of hours before closing time. The waitresses were cleaning up the buffet, but soon was cleaning up the dinning room putting up chairs on tables. They could have waited until everyone left or how about when they close. I felt this was awkward and a bad practice. The staff was really nice and friendly. Overall a great pizza place.

We stopped here on our cross country trip because we needed a place to watch the World Cup with our boys. They were very friendly and we were able to stay during the whole thing without any issues. We ordered a xl pizza and drinks for the family and it was perfect - we were stuffed! Thanks again

This place was very good. We went for the lunch Buffett on a Saturday. They had lots of selection, even made what we asked for and had lots of fresh veggies in the well stocked salad bar. We fed our family of 6 for $25.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT PEOPLE...what a find in Winslow! You're not going to have time for standing on the corner when you see the menu here! I have yet to taste their wings and tacos, but I hear they are great! Their buffet is a deal! Fresh salad and fixings, soup, pasta, hot out of the oven pizza and not just the basics! I love the Navajo Taco and Buffalo Chicken Pizza! If it's not on the menu, they'll make it any way you want it! Kyle, the owner is so nice and knows all the locals and that's how he treats everyone, like you're a friend! Also, they're open late and right off I-40...a great convenience when I'm on a road trip. Skip the fast food for a quick tasty meal at Captain Tony's!

We were delightfully surprised by how delicious the pizza is here. The service was also very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was a little loud but this is a family friendly place so there were lots of kids.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
