My husband & I stayed here for the first two nights of our honeymoon as a base camp to see the Grand Canyon. In the morning we were pleasantly surprised by a delicious 3 course breakfast (plus pumpkin cake to go) which fueled us up for a long day of hiking. Nick also provided us with some maps & trail recommendations for the canyon. Our room was peaceful & very comfortable. They also provide a number of selections of tea & coffee in each room as well as bottled water. Overall the little touches Nick and Clair provided helped to make our stay even better. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay & would love to go back. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Williams area.

An amazing oasis on the way to the Grand Canyon. Pros (99%): EVERYTHING written in prior reviews regarding the super-hospitable owners (Claire & Nick), the luscious bed and bath amenities, the tucked-away location, the amazing breakfast, etc, etc, etc. Cons (1%): Probably more of a personal preference than a con, but the bed was a little firm for our taste. However, let's be clear....the pros far outweigh the cons! Run....don't walk. The only place to stay if you plan on visiting the Grand Canyon. Highly recommended!

Sheridan house This is a real find. The B&B owners Claire and Nick are friendly and very helpful when it comes to recommendations for the area. She was able to accommodate all my requests - allergic to nuts and feather. Intolerant to diary product. Plus nearly vegetarian. The accommodations are quite clean, comfortable, and visually appealing. We took a large room in the second house that has a minimalist Asian / tropical feel to it. The room was on the second floor and secluded. It was a very comfortable and quiet evening followed by a deep sleep. They have wifi and cable TV so if you can't left go of your electronics even on vacation, you won't feel isolated. Breakfast was nothing less than scrumptious. I had the lemon blueberry pancakes. It was delightful decorated with fresh fruit. The amount of food and drink was so satisfying. My hard working man was unable to complete the breakfast burrito after a serving of watermelon, berry smoothie, yogurt and fruit, and one of my mini pancakes which I couldn't finish. I would definitely return here when I am in the areas again.

What a relaxing stay in the Autumn colors of Williams, AZ in cool October. Claire is the innkeeper from Heaven! Claire and Nick have established a lovely place to be atop the hill in Williams (the old Route 66 little town which doubles as the main gateway to the Grand Canyon.) Williams is also just a car ride down the highway from Flagstaff which is also a really cute little surprise and a friendly mountain town with enough fun, good eats, art shops and interesting finds to make me want to go back for another visit. And Williams is pure tourist fun too. But for us it was all about getting into the Grand Canyon for some backpacking and camping, and The Sheridan House Inn was a great base for us to do so. Our room at the Sheridan House Inn was the Suite with 2 bedrooms atop the second floor in the guesthouse. It was immaculately clean and updated. New soft linens, inspired Asian art on the walls, a sparkling clean bathroom. Priorities were definitely taken care of. Quiet, as can be it was, don't know if that was because everyone else in the other 3 rooms in the building hit the hay early...but once we laid our head down we didn't hear a peep. Sound sleep was refreshing, and I was up at 7 am for a nice walk...Jamie and I walked down a few blocks and over to the Santa Fe Reservoir .... a brisk and enjoyable morning walk. BREAKFAST, BREAKFAST, BREAKFAST ... this place should be re-labeled a BED AND FOUR COURSE AMAZING BREAKFAST! FOR REAL ! I can't say enough about the breakfast, so I won't even try ...alright, fine, well I'll say a little... Claire and her husband make their own homemade sausages, which were awesome in the breakfast burrito ... banana pecan pancakes made to order ... a picture perfect delicious yogurt parfait with granola over blueberries as an "appetizer" ... french press coffee on a beautifully set table....fresh strawberry banana smoothie to accompany my parfait. OH YA!! ... what a way to start the day when heading to the GRAND CANYON to disappear for a few days. I felt like I was having brunch in a 5-Star hotel. Hopefully this process continues for future guests. Claire, you're amazing ! I loved this place, seeing yellow Aspen leaves, changing in the cool fall weather. Being greeted and treated with such warmth by our hosts. Having a clean and comfy place to call home base while we adventured through that fun Arizona region. Nick and Claire's smiles and warm nature, and total professionalism with their Inn....I was soooooo happy. I'd love to go back.

We arrived around 8pm and Nick greeted us with a warm welcome. Nick and Claire, the owners, are extremely attentive and left us a bottle of white wine for our anniversary. The accommodations and furnishings in the Sycamore room were perfect. I especially liked the Elemis spa products for the bathroom. We slept great and enjoyed the breakfast. We will definitely be back for more!

Claire and Nick were great hosts! The rooms were outstanding - clean and comfortable with amenities that included Keurigs (with an assortment of K-cups), water , cream and sugar, candies, lovely sample sized lotion, lip moisturizer, and pillow refresher spray...they were attentive and thoughtful - meeting any need we had! We will definitely recommend the Sheridan Inn to our family and friends! Breakfast was delicious and satisfying! The only concern for elderly people is the parking...as it is limited next to the house and if unavailable you have to park below and hike up the stairs. All in all, a very lovely experience!!

Loved this place and will return. Very nice, clean, quiet and comfy room. Close to Grand Canyon. Breakfast was superb. Claire and Nick were welcoming and knowledgeable. They have 2 cool dogs that they adopted. One that had been abused and was in a high kill shelter and another that showed up on their doorstep emaciated. The dogs are calm and friendly, and well trained. Such good people!

Wonderful experience here. Claire and Nick are fabulous and very welcoming and gracious hosts. They gave us good advice on local restaurants and side trips in the area in addition to the Grand Canyon. The rooms were clean, comfortable, cozy, and very nice features. In our room (Cedar) came with nice touches like a Keurig machine, local hot chocolate, some chocolates, and some fun little spa items on the bed. Good selection of movies that we could borrow, and good/fast Wifi. The shared breakfast and lounge/kitchen area were very pleasant, with tea and water always available (and cool art!). Breakfast was fantastic. Smoothies, juice, french press coffee or espresso drinks, delicious oatmeal with fruit & honey, and a selection of egg dishes and pancakes which were delicious. (Yum, breakfast burrito) and great eggs and croissants. Followed by iced pumpkin cake, which we sadly were too full to partake in. It was a great location, close to town but far enough away to be nestled in pine trees (very nice to wake up to). Easily walkable to restaurants and shops. You might not spend a ton of time in Williams, but it definitely had some Route 66 charm. About one hour south of the Grand Canyon.

What a refreshing, relaxing experience. Nick greeted us upon arrival, suggested a nice restaurant for dinner, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Claire is equally delightful. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. A lot of selections for breakfast including gluten free options, Wi-Fi in the property, DVDs, direct TV, and snacks. Overall an excellent experience. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice B&B, very accommodating and rooms were nice and comfy. Only stayed 1 night and heading off on the railway to the Grand Canyon the following day. Breakfast was good, oatmeal and pancakes w bacon!!! Several items to choose from egg dishes, pancakes, etc. Smoothies and coffee as well. Claire even was able to get a box lunch to take with us for a very reasonable additional charge. THere is a very nice living area to just relax and a patio for enjoying as well. Room had a small fridge to keep soda's and water. Small TV w DVD, Satellite Dish network, also had a huge DVD Library & books. I would highly recommend this place for couples , i don't believe they allow kids at least not the smaller kind anyways. The house sits on top of a hill, has a steep driveway could be an issue in the winter but also has stairs and parking below. Very close to town you could certainly walk to grab dinner off Route 66
