Todd's is a family business and it shows. The service is excellent and special requests are graciously accommodated. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. The breakfasts and lunches are varied and predictably good. Haven't been there for dinner but I understand that there is fresh grilled salmon on the dinner menu over the weekends.

Even if I didn't live nearby, I would drive in from town to eat Todd's food. His food is so fresh and well-prepared. Some of our favorite things after many trips: hash, benedict, not-so-benedict, Todd's cakes, pulled pork sandwich, ribs, Friday clam chowder, and the bbq burger. Todd's bbq sauce is to die for, make sure you buy a bottle if you don't have the pleasure of dining for lunch or dinner. Yes, Todd's now serves dinner! During the summer months, they are now open Friday and Saturday nights until 7 PM. Usually on the dinner menu is fresh salmon. Last time we dined for dinner, we had another special, tri-tip with fresh squash. Wow! Have room for dessert? Ask Todd for about his Baked Arizona, his twist on a Baked Alaska. Great food for the prices. Hands down best breakfast in Tucson. Gailee and the rest of the staff are always friendly and always so helpful. I love supporting this family business and am so thankful they are close. In an area with no good food nearby, Todd's truly is a godsend.

This family run place is a great spot to go for LUNCH or SUNDAY BREAKFAST. It feels like it is so far from town, but it really isn't. And when is the last time you spent an early morning with your family and headed west. Its clean, bright and the staff is always friendly. Big open windows allow you to see planes coming and going. Lunch is fabulous! The salads are ALWAYS fresh and they are willing adjust their menu to please you with the things you like. Their homemade prickly pear salad dressing is the BEST! You have to try to the Onion Straws and Jalapeno Beef Sandwich OR maybe the Turkey Parmesan Melt.... or the Turkey Burger, or ................ummmm...it;s all so good, the list just goes on and on! If I had one thing to request for their menu it would be ........Fresh Brewed Iced Tea. Although many love their sweet prickly pear tea, we like the original. 5 STARS......WELL WORTH THE DRIVE! Give it a try and SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!!

Have heard about Todd's for some time, but never in the area while I was hungry. Stopped by for a bowl of homemade soup and followed it up with a piece of homemade AZ pecan pie. Both were very good. The place is clean and airplane memorabilia nice. Darn it have fogotten the waitresses' name but she was friendly and attentive. There were a couple airplanes come and go; always like watching those.

Todd's has some of the best French toast! It is a plate of sweet bliss and you fly in the clouds of happiness. They also have a delicious BBQ and prickly pear tea. And it's at an airport. The decor could use an upgrade but with great food, who cares!

We ordered the Spanish omelets with home fries. Mine came with two pancakes and hubbys came with toast. I was kind of excited to eat here after reading all the good reviews..... Let's just say that I was disappointed. The meal was not worth the 8.99 that was charged for a 3 egg omelet. (It looked more like 2 egg to be honest) My pancakes were so cold that the butter wouldn't melt on them and I swear parts of my potatoes were cold also. Hubby was still hungry after this meal and ordered french toast. It was also underwhelming.... How can you mess up french toast?! The best things about this meal were the salsa (tasted homemade and was spicy in a good way), the coffee (strong and cup filled regularly), and the service(really great and friendly). I would NOT make a special trip to eat here contrary to what one reviewer said.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. What started as a routine breakfast flight into Ryan Field, soon after evaporated into a day long stop with a broken airplane, and waiting for a ride back to Phoenix. We read the reviews about Todd's and decided to go. We ordered breakfast; eggs, potatoes, coffee, pancakes. It's not the food that makes this place great. The food was good. Note; they have real maple syrup. It's not on the menu, and it's not listed. Call it an "Easter Egg" and request it. It's the service, the attention to customers, the ambiance and the environment that make this place wonderful. Honestly, I find myself green with envy with the large Blue Angels F-18 hanging on the wall. If I could have hid it under my shirt, I would have. When the airplane broke, we went inside, to figure out the next step. They were accommodating, and welcoming. The let us occupy a booth for the duration of our time at Ryan. To make things even better, with a 4 year old in tow, we were concerned that we have had a disruptive, bored 4 year old. To combat that, they brought out a large basket of toys and let him turn the area in front of the booth into a play area. The owner sat nearby and enjoyed our company, and his guns and airplanes sounds as she worked away. The owners are a married couple that seem to have found a niche at Ryan Field. I think Sherry and Todd have created something wonderful at Todd's.

We just moved to Tucson. One of the first place we had lunch was at Todd's for a business lunch. What a cool out of the way place the dinning room over looks the airports tarmac (Small Planes). The food was out of this world delicious. We will defiantly become regulars at Todd's and will recommend this spot to all. Thanks Todd

Fabulous food, well worth the drive (and you never know what aircraft will be arriving as you dine). Chef Todd delivers a wonderful omelet and a fabulously delicious bacon cheeseburger, excellent potatoes. If this restaurant was in town it would be hard to get a table. I have never had a problem with slow service, quite the contrary. No comparison with the other restaurants reviewers mention. Bravo, Todd!

THE CUSTOMERS: We had a total of two adults eating at this establishment. THE LOCATION: The location is right off Ajo headed toward Nogalas. You pass Valencia Blvd. along the way and the restaurant is on the right. FIRST IMPRESSION: Looks very clean from the outside. Noticeable by the giant propeller outside the restaurant. Its located right outside Ryan Airfield which is kind of neat. THE SELECTION: Had a nice selection of food. Both the breakfast food and the lunch food has a lot of flavor and was very tasty. I recommend the waffles with everything on it. THE PRICE: The meals are moderately priced for both breakfast and lunch. THE FOOD: The food at Todd's was delicious. It was food tied to the area and the food their gave you a great sense of being in Tucson. I would also try the prickly pear jelly and the prickly pear tea. I know the BBQ sauce is also the Chef's own recipe. My wife usually gets the Eggs Benedict and I usually get the waffles. OVERALL: This place is good for families. Good for kids and good for groups. Dress is everything from business casual to shorts and t-shirt. Waitresses were nice and refills were plentiful. Parking is on-site and close-by.

The best Eggs Benedict with their own version of southwestern Not So Benedict and waffles with pecans. Love it! Love it! Orders come out quick and the service is good.

I give this place a one star due to the ridiculously slow service. I usually am very tolerant when the place is packed but we waited 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order (If we hadn't complained we probably would still be sitting there.) Then another 40 minute wait on our food. People coming in before us were seated and finished their meal before we ever got served. We had 9 in our party and had a reservation. Food was ok nothing special here. Everyone seemed to like what they ordered. Probably will not go back because Service Does Make The Meal!!

The worst thing about living a mile west of the casino is that you're not really near anything, least of all a good place to get decent food. The desert oasis at Ryan Airfield that saves the day is known as Todd's. My wife and I visit Todd's frequently on the weekends, and we could not be more impressed. The service is always friendly and attentive, the food is fantastic, the airplanes outside are interesting, the prices are low, and the coffee is constantly refilled. I've tried many of their breakfast meals, including the breakfast burrito (comes with a great salsa), the breakfast sandwich (bagel, bacon, eggs, cheese, and a side of the griddle potatoes!), the omelets (so many to choose from), and the steak and eggs (sliced steak cooked to perfection). However, my favorite meal at Todd's is the Todd's "not-so" Benedict. It's the traditional dish, made Todd's way with a fabulous prickly pear sauce and eggs prepared just as they should be. This family-run business is truly one of the gems of the southwest Tucson desert, and I'd take anyone there who came out near my place...if they ever got that far!

A great place for breakfast or lunch. The Eggs Benedict are dreamy. You can't beat the pastrami and corned beef sandwiches anywhere in Tucson! Todd and Sherri are great folks! Very worth the drive, even from the east side of Tucson.

The best damn waffles in SE Arizona and especially for an airport restaurant. The staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming and everything on the menu is first rate from omelettes to pancakes and waffles and everything in between. Chef Todd is as personable as can be and so is the rest of his staff and talented kitchen staff...His hollandaise sauce kicks ass...freshly made daily and the right color always inspires confidence in me as a diner. The mini waffles with homemade whipped cream...orgasmic The cowboy coffee is soothing. The flavors are first rate...if only all airport restaurants or airline food could be that good, I would never complain! Thank you Todd for an exceptional dining experience every time I visit Tucson! You are well worth the trip.

Very Convenient for the transiting pilot. Had a very nice pulled pork sandwich with with a tasty and interesting Prickly Pear Cactus BBQ Sauce. Service was excellent and the waitress we had was spot on with recommending something off the menu and always keeping our drinks topped off.

We have been going to Todds several times a month since we discovered it. They serve a bottomless cup of perfectly brewed Arbuckles coffee (mmmmmmm). The waitresses work very hard to make sure you are never without anything you need. This past Friday I had the veggie breakfast burrito with the homemade salsa. Perfectly wrapped up in a fresh tortilla are crisp veggies, melted cheese, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. The tortilla is lightly seared on the outside to give it a little crunch...amazing. For you meat lovers you can get this with bacon or sausage too. My favorite is the buckwheat waffle. Plain, with cinnamon apples, or strawberries and whipped cream you can not go wrong here. Crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside it is the ultimate way to start your day. And they have their very own prickly pear syrup, yum! For lunch the turkey burger is one of the best I have ever had, with pepper jack cheese and all the usual fixins, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. I had mine with a cup of tomato basil soup, which was as good as you would find in a 5 star restaurant. Rich creamy and all the right seasoning. Todds is located at Ryan Airfield, so there are cool old photos and model planes hanging from the ceiling. The great view out the windows allows you to see all the cool action of the planes at the aiport, or on quiet days you can simply enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. Great food, great service, great prices, great atmosphere!!!! I really only have one complaint about Todds......they close at 2pm Sun through Thursday and at 7pm on Friday and Saturday, but it is a family run place so I understand.

Great place to eat. I live close by and love that it's a great place to sit and relax and watch small planes while you eat.

A very cozy, small, family run diner aspect restaurant, Todd's at Ryan Field has a lot of great things to offer. Great place to dine in if you live close, but worth the drive if you live far. SERVICE = 5/5 The people who work at Todd's are very friendly, happy, humble, calm, people who wore a smile on their face to every person they've encountered. They were prompt, informative, and you can tell they've enjoyed working there. This is the only place we've been to that cleaned a baby's high chair for us, which was very impressive. A gesture that simple showed that they cared about their customers. FOOD = 4.8/5 Chef Todd is not just a cook but a chef. The food was flavorful, rich, delicious, fresh, and left us wanting more. The food was not greasy unlike other diners, portions were smaller than expected, but bursting in flavors that left our palettes satisfied. - Hoagie with Angus Steak + carmelized onion - you can tell he took his time in cooking the onions, it was savory and delicate; the beef was absolutely delicious, mouth-watering, and juicy; I only wish that there was more meat and less bread - Hoagie with beef + french dip - the dip was a bit salty, the hoagie on it's own was palatable - Eggs Benedict - the best eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce I have ever tasted; it was full of flavor, heavenly and well seasoned; the poached egg was clean, smooth, perfectly cooked, and well formed (it takes skill to properly poach an egg) - potato mash that came with the eggs benedict - good but a little bland - Seasoned fries - not salty just perfect, batter made the fries crunchy and delightful - Angus Burger - tasted fresh and great ratio of meat-to-fat on the burger, although the meat was thin; did not come with a sauce, but it was still lusciously flavored - Coleslaw with prickly pear - a bit too sweet, could have used a little more seasoning or acidity/vinegar to balance out the flavors - Waffles - very light, fluffy with a crispy bite, very delicious even on its own - syrup - very light, not sugary and not too sweet, well balanced flavors OVERALL = 5/5 This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants now, and we will most certainly be going back again, and again. We were very happy with the care, and passion that Chef Todd puts into his food, that you can taste the love. This is undoubtedly as good as it gets, the best so far, and well deserving of 5 stars. Thank you Todd's at Ryan Field for being my first 5-star eatery! (And I don't give out 5 stars easily). You have made me very happy! =)

For being a dinky little restaurant on a private-plane airfield, this is pretty darn good food. The restaurant is decent sized, with booths and tables, and is completely full service. The staffpeople are all friendly and the waitresses get food out quickly and never leave you wanting more water or anything. The food tastes good. They close at 2 but serve breakfast during all open hours. They also have sandwiches, BBQ items, and salads. After discovering the hoagies those are now my favorite thing to get. The bread is flaky and the meats/cheeses taste fresh. They have red chili onion strings which are just like regular onion strings but red in color and have a slight kick to them. Very tasty. They also have homemade lemonade and homemade pecan pie. although I have yet to try either.
