Last night's visit was the first and will be the last time going to the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery for us. My husband had heard numerous advertisements on the radio and thought it might be fun to try a new place for happy hour instead of our usual favorites. We received a very friendly welcome just coming in the front door and were offered our choice of seating. Once seated, a charming server came quickly to the table. We explained that this was our first visit and had several questions about the happy hour menu. She cheerfully explained the menu, took both our drink and food orders, checked to be sure about what kind of sugar I wanted for my cocktail on the rim of the glass, and brought water while we waited. We ordered onion rings, wings, and fries - yes, all fried! The food arrived warm, not hot from the fryer. The batter on the wings was thick, doughy, and barely cooked as if the cooking time was too short and/or the grease was not hot enough. The chicken itself was moist and the batter would have had a good flavor had it been properly cooked. The onion rings seemed to be either overcooked or twice cooked as they were dark and hard, rendering the flavor of the batter to be mediocre at best. The fries were tolerable, not great. The drinks were very good. This sport's bar has a very nice vibe with excellent sevice but we would suggest eating elsewhere before coming.

I have been bugging everyone to come here since the Grand Opening..finally made it in last night and I was not really impressed. I think I had visions of sugar plum booze and beautiful scantily clad fairies in my head... The bartenders were all male, that was issue one. ;) Then, while the service was very good and the bar staff did check on us frequently, we ended up paying 15.50$ for one pint of beer and a single Jack and coke. The Jack was 6$ which leaves my pint of beer at 9.50$ !? How can that be? I probably will not come here again due to their high prices. Nothing else really wrong with the place, atmosphere, or vibe...but those are prices I expect to pay for fancy cocktails, not my standard pint of porter. 3 stars for the inebriated gentleman in the parking lot directing traffic to their parking spots.

We were watching the Stanley cup, Tampa bay vs Blackhawks. Everything was fine until they decided to change channels when they were receiving the Stanley cup they totally changed the channels. We were waiting a year to see the end of it that it the final game and when they received the cup. Was very disappointed about it, they didn't care!! So make sure when there's a championship game you want to watch you might want to let them know way head of time. Otherwise change location. I thought this was a sports bar. Anyways. Not coming back. Not worth the fight!!

Typical bar food, loud dinning room, cute girls with mini kilt. I have nothing more to add. Go try it if you don't believe me.

I recently moved to Tucson from New Jersey I've been dying to find a place that has sports on TV and COLD beer on on tap . I was very happy to find a TK within a 5 minute drive from my house because I've had nothing but excellent experiences with every visit to TK in East Brunswick, NJ. However the Tucson location is a disaster. Learn from my experience and don't let this happen to you!! Arrived so to enjoy a few drinks and enjoy myself. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I was on the phone with my friend so I didn't pay attention to the (at least) $20 I handed the bartender. I never got change. When I asked if I was supposed to get change, I was told that she could check to see if there were any big bills that got mixed in but I probably gave her about a $4 tip. I was surprised but agreed to allow her to keep my (what I approximate to be) $20-$30 tip for one beer because being mostly an introvert, I didn't want to draw attention to myself. So I decided to dig deeper and put another $40 on the bar. This is where the strange turned bizarre. I ordered another Miller Lite beer from the bartender named Gabrielle. Not only did she make me feel completely unwelcomed but told me I could have another only ONLY if I finished it by 12:10am (it was 11:20pm) because she wasn't feeling well and was tired. I drank my beer by 11:30 and got out of there vowing to myself and the guy sitting next to me to never return. I have never been so insulted by a bartender in my life. I am in management in my career and would never employ Gabrielle or her coworker who helped herself to a large tip at my expense. I hope this review keeps people on notice who visit this restaurant and keeps management on notice that this is going on. There is a lot of potential here but unfortunately they will never be a desirable destination unless management pays more attention to what's going on. I'm very willing to speak with management and/or Gabrielle about my experience with the hope of improvement.

Obviously people don't go there for the food. The food was awful and reaffirmed the reason my husband and I don't usually go to chain restaurants. First we ordered the wing tenders and the server came back to tell us they were out of that particular flavor. We went to order a different appetizer and were told they were out of it. Then my husband ordered the Kilt Dip Sandwich and i ordered the Caesar Salad. The salad was romaine lettuce, 1/2 can of fake parmesan and a couple of handfuls of croutons. There was so much parmesan that moving all the lettuce to the side left a small mountain in the center of the plate. The wings came (we had chosen a different flavor) after the food and they were cold. Tasted like they had been sitting out awhile. The food was so poor in quality that we couldn't eat it and both left with upset stomachs. With 3/4 of the food left on the plates, we finished our beers (it's hard to screw up beer) paid the bill and left. Maybe it was a new cook, the server said their food is usually very good. I'll stick to local pub food for now on.
(1)Megan M.
The food, was nothing to write home about, the ambiance reminded me of Europe, which is the only reason I gave them one star. I had their special burger with the grilled onions. It was meh. I was craving a really good pub style burger and it didn't really hit the spot. Very little onion, and no cheese? One thing that really bothered me was the lack of customer service from the staff. It's almost just like another hooters. People don't really go for the food, more or less to oogle the women, and men are the only ones who can crack a smile from any of these girls. And I get the whole 'sex appeal' thing, but at least give then skirts that don't show off their chonch while they bend over, I really don't want to see that when I'm eating. I feel sorry for this girls whom are objectified every night, no wonder they seemed so pissed off.

Ok started out bad! Almost 6 minutes before a BT acknowledged me! But then it got so much better! Great Beer Selection, tons of TV's even in the bathroom, and some very lovely ladies! I do not eat bar food so I cannot comment on that, but the beers are served in British Pints, and are reasonably priced! Also check out the quip posted above the door in the Men's Room! Classic! I'm sure the ladies have one too! All in all a great experience once it got going! This almost matches the original in the Rio in LV! Sadly closed now! But there is a new one in the Linq Complex on the Strip! Check this place out if you love beer and lovely ladies!

Good service, good food. This place contrasts with its most famous competitor in its theme. The atmosphere is that of an Irish pub. Plenty of TV with sports as well as other entertainment such as GoCam videos and Tilted Kilt specific ads. I'm not a drinker, so I have no bar reviews. Coca-Cola products. Yes, they have Coke Zero. I tried the Shepherd's Pie, and it was quite tasty. The garlic toast could use a bit more butter. Dessert was a warm macadamia nut cookie with ice cream. Simple food, good tastes.

I was very excited for the grand opening of this restaurant because its pretty close to my home. They also did pretty decent job in remodeling this place from the old Risky's. First let me make it clear that I have nothing against waitress wearing tiny uniforms. My problem here is with the Service offered. First off all waitress did not have a clear idea of the menu so they messed my order twice. Since the service was terribly slow I had to accept what I had on my plate because who wants to be that person who makes everybody else at the table wait for an hour to finish up the food. On top this, the waitress billed me twice! She charged me for the wrong dish that she ordered initially. Service obviously was exceptionally slow. At the end of the day its a typical beer and bar food joint with terrible staff and service.Very disappointed.
(1)Jessica Y.
I have been to the location in Phoenix, so when they opened one in Tucson we had to go check it out. The nachos werent very good, and the service was pretty slow. Also, the waitress didn't seem to be very knowledgeable on draft beers. Not going to be my first choice to grab a beer and watch the game.
(2)Jason T.
I'm taking a star off the review because I was told there would be UFC here and when I inquired about bringing a group there they told me last minute that they are not getting the fights. Come on guys you are a sports bar, get UFC!
(4)Joshua S.
Don't let the single star rating be a reflection of the whole establishment but on one of the girls by the name of Kiylea. She was selling calendars which I was ok with the fact TK is selling such a great calendar but as she was walking away after I said no for the tenth time she whispered f*&#ing B$%@# under her breath. I wasn't sure if it was directed at me but it wasn't professional and reflected bad on the pub. I always receive good service but recently it has been down hill. This one instance was enough to make me doubt Tilted Kilt Tucson.
(1)Paul G.
Just another Hooters, young women showing skin, I would prefer better food, but plenty of TV's to watch a game.
(3)Tommy T.
Nice place, too many men even if the staff are all beautiful women. I like to see a bit more of a mixed crowd. Food was good and service was pleasant. Much better the risky business.
(3)Brett R.
What a difference from the old risky biz to this place! Great decor and even better kilt girls! Food is bar food, but exceptional bar food. The service I had, despite it being busy, was good. Not sure what the other bad reviews were about, but you know how picky yelpers are! The patio is awesome too!
(4)C B.
The place is essentially an up-grade of Hooters. I mean up-grade in the sense that the clothes are less tacky, the pub is actually in pretty good condition with a huge selection of beers, the waitresses are actually good at their job (in that they are not hired just for their looks) and a decent menu. BUT the food is overpriced.
(3)Heath C.
3-stars, it's a decent place. The first time I went it was a slow night. Me and my girl both got wings and they were fantastic. The bartender was very nice and quick. We went again last night and the place was crowded. We sat at the bar and still got very prompt and nice service. The food was also quick to come but this time the food was pretty sub-par. I forget what she ordered, but I got the loaded nachos. The ceramic plate was on another plate, top plate was lava hot, so obviously microwaved; not-to-mention all the outside cheese sauce was ice cold, while the middle cheese was piping hot. Most of it was cheese sauce and not real cheese. That was disappointing considering it was a 9 dollar plate. The very little real cheese was right in the middle and surrounded by oversalted chicken pieces. I couldn't finish the chicken because I couldn't stomach the sheer amount of salt content. So I won't be getting the nachos again, and would advise others to do the same. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but I'll definitely come back to try other items to have a more accurate idea of their menu. Though if they're microwaving something as simple as nachos, then you can be sure many other orders are as well. So yeah, just 3 star food, but I'd give it 4 to 5 star service. But the food is why I go out, so I'll remain with 3 stars.
(3)Danny R.
Atmosphere is great, service good. I had the Fish and Chips for a meal, but they weren't that great. The creamy tartar sauce was to buttery the fries were soggy and the beer battered fish were soggy and oily as well. I will come back but to try out one of their burgers.
(4)Joseph T.
I'm came in prepared to be critical, but left pretty satisfied. The food is solid and so is the service. They did an amazing job transforming this space. You'd never recognize it from its previous incarnation. And yes, they have some amazingly attractive girls serving. Definitely a bonus. My soup lost a lot of its heat on the way to me, otherwise it'd probably be five stars for this visit.
(4)Charlene F.
Food was good. Lively atmosphere. Good service. Most memorable..... If you like looking at young girls with excessive boobs hanging out you will love this place! I gave it 3stars for everything but the hooter girls....that is a bit accessive, over the top, a bit too much stuff being exploited.
(3)Kevin B.
Too loud. I'm fairly certain the noise level in this place is in violation of some health code. Not returning.
(1)Pierre D.
First time to this Tilted Kilt, and I'll never come back. It took 15mins just to get a beer. Then we ordered an appetizer and never got that. Service was mediocre. I'm not impressed and most likely will never come back. Too bad. I do enjoy the Tilted Kilt in Phoenix.
(2)Diane A.
I have been there 3 times and the service was great and the food was tasty. Great place to watch a game or join friends for a drink. See what you think.
(5)C P.
The other locations I have been to were better. Service was a bit slow and the girls were not too friendly. Food was okay, not stellar. Maybe I hit them on an off day, and because of good experiences in the past, I'm hoping it's just growing pains and adjustments to the Tucson market. We shall see.
(3)Jessica M.
Good drinks.. the pain killer.. very good drink. standard bar food, not bad food but just like every other bar... nothing to complain about nor rave about.
(3)Tara B.
It was just okay. The hostess was completely unfriendly and marched us to a high top table in the bar area without asking us if we'd like to sit there. So we had to walk back over to the hosting station and request a low table in the "dining" area. The food was okay. I was excited to see garlic fries, but they weren't nearly garlic-y enough. Most of the fries were just salted. They were nice enough to make a reuben using corned beef instead of pastrami, which is what my friend wanted. She said it was good. I had an Irish dip that tasted like the meat was Steak-umm. There was a manager milling about, but she didn't stop by to ask if everything was okay, which I thought was odd. She looked kinda irritated. For the cost of it, I doubt we'll return. Unless I lose my Sunday Ticket subscription. The TVs were probably the most impressive thing for me. I could see myself hanging out for a football game I couldn't get at home.
(3)Chris M.
Excellent burgers, beautiful women and great setup! What more could you ask for! The greeter nataliya was also a favorite, beautiful and friendly.
(5)Ned R.
Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and cordial. Food was good but nothing special or extraordinary. I in good conscience would have given them 5 stars, but their prices stopped me from doing so. $12.95 for a hamburger?. The hamburger which I will define as average, 8 onion rings, and a Bud light came to $18.00 plus tip. The atmosphere had a nice Celtic theme and was very comfortable but still did not warrant those kinds of prices.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!! Greeted at door & seated...ok. Sat at high top near bar & POS kiosk. 10 mins later, no server acknowledged we were sitting there. One gal passed by & said, I'll be right back guys...nope...didn't happen. Nice server that sat us abruptly came up to our table with two shots of some sort, spilling them all over the menus & our table. We asked what they were & she quickly (lightning speed) picked them up & we told her no one has help us with any orders. Oh so surprised, she said 4 differ servers told her they would take our table. NOT!! So that tells me that non of the servers wanted to serve us. Probably because we are a couple at a table & they can't show off their open blouse to get a bigger tip. That is ridiculous! I am not going to spend my money at a place that treats people like this. All the tables of men had drinks...not my kind of place. Irish hooter wanna be. If I could give minus stars, I would!!! Pass on this place!
(1)Hassan K.
I had been here a couple times before with no issues(Ashley was my server who did a great job). Brought a coworker there for lunch today - it was his 1st time there. Had to wait to be seated and none of the girls seemed to care we were standing up waiting. Eventually I had to say something to one of the girls to get seated. We wanted to sit on the back patio which we did. More than 10 minutes went by before we had a server recognize that we didn't have drinks or food. She got our drinks finally. Both of us ordered fish & chips. My coworker didn't want the cole slaw. About 15min later our food came out. I got fish with no chips and cole slaw and he got fish & chips with cole slaw. So the order was screwed up. I politely asked for napkins & cutlery. Server said sure no problem. She never brought it out and we didn't see her for several minutes. Had to ask another server...sure no problem. Never brought it out. Fish got cold. I'm very easy going but at this point asked for a manager. They ended up making us an entire new meal each and finally brought cutlery. I know the staff is there to "look good" but some employees there just don't get the concept of how to serve customers. We're there to eat lunch and have to return to work - we ran over our time because of what happened. The fact that one has to ask several times for cutlery is ridiculous. Not impressed with this place anymore as a result
(2)Bob C.
I went here after the local sports guys talked it up on AM 1290. I walked in and walked out, mainly because it was too big and too crowded for my comfort. It's probably a good place to watch a game but personally I prefer a smaller venue.
(3)Ken M.
Meh, so so.. Food was good, not great. Service was good. Prices were too high for what you get. I would have felt better if I got to put some of the $ in one of the servers g-strings, would have made it worth it..
(3)Lacey A.
Been here about 5 times now, every time the service was horrendous. The food is mediocre and it's way too loud in there. If they could at least get their servers to know what they're doing I would bump my review to a 3.
(1)Daniel B.
I'd never been to a TK before, so I gave it a couple of chances before reviewing. The first visit was a month or so after they opened at Broadway & Craycroft, so they had a chance to work out the kinks. Our server, Jasmine, was nothing less than fantastic. She explained things thoroughly, was very quick, and checked on us often. The food, however, was mediocre at best, and overpriced for what you get. I got the Irish Pub, which is a French Dip Sandwich. Unfortunately, there was so little meat on it that I was still hungry when I left. The second visit was downright disappointing. Service was all right, but again the food was second-rate. I tried one of their burgers, but it was too greasy, which masked any flavor it had. My friend had the Irish Pub despite my warning, and again the meat was very sparse. I know a lot of guys go there for the eye candy, but with the exception of a couple girls, even that was disappointing. For the prices they charge, you can get WAY better in Tucson.
(2)Mark S.
I may be lying (or I might not) when I say I don't come here for the female servers clad in uniforms that make Hooters girls look like nuns. I do like the fact that they have lots of TV's for sports watching including a wall-o-9-tv's programmed to look like one huge TV. I also like the fact that they have a decent draft beer selection, although I seemed to get a better description of the beer selection when I sat in the bar vs. the restaurant. Maybe that was due to the fact that we went on their first day and the server was not trained. The food is fine. It's your typical salty-pile-o-fries-sells-more-beer kind of pub fare. I am a fan of fish and chips, but I did not care for theirs. The nachos with beer cheese were pretty good, but you may need some gastric medicine intervention later. They have some decent happy hour food specials that are good for noshing while you down an Irish-sized pint of your favorite elixir. The first time I went they were blaring classic rock music so loud I was vibrating when I left. If loud rock and scantily clad waitresses blocking your view of your favorite sporting event are not your thing, I say avoid. If that's your scene and you can afford the calories and appreciate the views then check it out.
(3)Maritza M.
Meh....I walked in here expecting good food but my experience was anything but. The menu is not really extensive and some of the good bar eats like sliders and cheese curds are only available during happy hour. Needless to say our food tasted ok but was nothing out of this world. I ordered the Parmesan cheese fries and they were soggy. The wings were ok but not crispy and hot, the place needs to get a new cook. Don't expect a lot or for it to be up to par with other Tilted Kilts.
(2)Mike P.
This Tilted Kilt is going downhill and gaining speed. The new menu dropped a lot of favorites and raised the prices on everything. What used to be pleasant and friendly hospitality from the hostess and wait staff has deteriorated to a point where it appears the customer is there to appreciate them and not the other way around. The beer selection is good, but there are a lot of places now with several good taps. I don't know if the reason is due to a change in management or what but I do know I won't be going back any time soon.
(1)Scott G.
Pretty good view. Beer fine, have gone several times after work. Selection doesn't blow me away for the number of beers they have, but not bad. Wife stopped by and did take out for dinner for us. Absolutely flavorless burger. But it was big. Which made it even worse to eat a big flavorless burger. Sweet potato fries also flavorless, besides some burned flavor. Don't do takeout since you can't send the food back (would have definitely sent it back if in restaurant).
(1)Nick F.
Very surprised to see 2 1/2 stars for this place. Tonight is my third time here and it's just as good as the first two. Good service, good bar food, the girls are hot and they have a great selection of craft beer. Why the hatred?? Yall bitches just be mad jealous and shit...or something. But seriously, it's basically an updated Hooters-like sports bar with BAR food. I didn't walk in here expecting the food to blow my dick off or anything. Only one tip for the staff: get a chalk board for the craft beer selection. Nobody ever knows what's on tap and unless you're sitting at the bar, you have no idea. P.S. Ashlee was our server and she was delightful. Give her a raise. And a car.
(4)Christopher P.
Finally got to try this place out. I have been to the Kilts in Phoenix and the other places like Twin Peaks so was looking forward to seein wassup. Top to bottom, inside and out, girls to food, I was not impressed. And let's call a spade a spade. We go for the girls, and food and drinks. In that order. Just be real about it. Any place can redeem themselves with me if the food is good. I have had better wings from little ceasers. I'm not even joking about that. I thought the fact that only 4 people were in there was odd, but it was a weekday evening so didn't think to much about it. Now I get it. Won't be making may way back to the Tucson, AZ Tilted kilt anytime this lifetime.
(1)Valerie V.
First of all, if you're a woman or older than 30, don't bother going to Tilted Kilt. That is, unless you want to be greeted once and subsequently ignored until you finally leave. My boyfriend and I (we're in our early 40s) went on a Saturday afternoon, where maybe 10 people were sitting at the bar. In other words, it wasn't busy. A constant swarm of servers loitered at the well by the bar, chatting among themselves. The restaurant was suffiiciently, if not over, staffed. After a couple of minutes, a bartender came by and said hello and asked what we wanted. Because we had never been there, we asked if there were any specials. She handed us a menu and left. And never came back. I tried making eye contact with the FIVE other women working behind the bar, but they could not have cared less about serving us. After 12 minutes (I counted, because I pay attention to these things), we got up and left. Again, no one said a word. The best part: After this happened, I wrote a detailed letter to the business. I never received a response. Great job, Tilted Kilt. I'll be ecstatic when you go out of business here.
(1)Diana I.
Very unprofessional work ethic from "Jazmyn" As I'm organizing my husbands receipts for work, I find one with a big red kiss on it! Really lady? Professional men can't go eat without you doing this? Have a little respect for yourself but then again you work almost naked.
(1)Rob R.
I've been to quite a few tilted kilt ls throughout the country and this one doesn't blow me away in comparison. First the basics. Solid selection of beers on draft, thoughly oddly missing Bass even though they have the ads up for It around the bar. Food is ok, honestly better then some sports bars. Service is good, never fantastic but good. Where they lose points is they don't show UFC fights, a first for any tilted kilt I've ever been to. I was told the manager feels they bring the "wrong crowd" by one of the bar tenders when I asked about the decision. And secondly when I was there for a college basket all game, with the local team, they closed going into the final ten minutes because it was 11. So clearly they aren't interested in actually being a sports bar, I think this location is content to just bring the crowd it will naturally get with the girls and showing the standard. My tip, go to Bjs its 100 yards away and has better food, nicer service, and better beer at the same or better prices.
(2)Mike N.
Went there for lunch and after placing our orders 3 times we lit into the server and manager and let them know we weren't very happy. Not twice but 3 times. They weren't busy at all so that wasn't the reason. Server was scatter brained. Manager wasn't bad but not much help. This was a business lunch so we only had 30 minutes but it was seriously over 2 hours until we left. We got the food for free but it didn't matter. First impressions left us unimpressed. We now go to other places that put their customers first and foremost and respect our limited lunch time. Food was actually very blah. I had Irish stew that could have been served in 5 minutes you might think. It was the worst I've ever had and I'm Irish. Girls looked hot but that did not make up for the bad lunch experience.
(1)Chris M.
Against my better judgement I came in with a couple buddies last night. Needless to say my previous experiences here have not been good. The only real draw is beautiful women and a wide selection of beers. As we walked into this establishment I witnessed the female bartender named Shawnee shouting cussing screaming and chasing a customer to his vehicle. I am sure she woke up the priests and nuns across the street at the church with her lude behaviour. She was shouting that the man hadnt tipped them; newsflash, tips must be earned for providing good service. We hadnt even sat down before something loathesome occurred! Perhaps she was drunk on duty as was hinted by other patrons who devulged her ghetto reputation to us, but whatever her malfunction was her unprofessional and potentially dangerous behaviour is unacceptable in an establishment where people bring their families. If we wanted to have a ghetto experience we would have gone to the strip club down the street. We expect to see classy ladies at the Tilted Kilt, not exotic dancers picking fights with their customers. If these are the type of women this establishment hires and retains, we will not be coming back. If it were possible to give this business zero stars I would.
(1)Jeff C.
Ok so the service has improved a bit and the food is always decent but now they have a DJ in the evenings?!? This guy comes in and sets up speakers and plays music in a sports bar. He also talks a lot into a mic, presumably about what specials they have going on but nobody can understand him. Just seems weird to have a DJ in a sports bar.
(2)Robert M.
Food is Fantastic, not very healthy....but fantastic. Then again, no one goes to a sports bar with the intent to be healthy haha!
(4)Jessica S.
They really did a good job with this place. It was really busy, impressive since it's only been open since Aug. 18. Nice open flow and more seating (in the bar and restaurant) than when it was Risky Business. Lots more beer on tap too! Imperial pints! Great happy hour, 3-6p and 9p-close, all bites $5 or less.
(4)Stephanie G.
I found this place to be a cliché, over priced, and underwhelming. It's a bar with scantily clad servers...sounds familiar (Hooters anyone!!). At least Hooters has good wings! The only reason I give it 2 stars was because our server was friendly and gave good service.
(2)
