For Greek food fast, Jim's is my top pick. They have the best gyros I've ever had. Go hungry, because the portions are HUGE! Great side dishes come with your gyro if you choose the combo. The Chicken Plate or the Greek Salad are yummy alternatives to red meat.

They literally take 1 minute to prepare the food if no one's in there (I've gone twice at around 2-3pm). The gyro is incredibly good. I like the Greek salad as well. It's was a little pricey for a poor college student (I think $8.47 including tax) but you get a lot of really good food. Check them out!

I went to this place because it was the closest restaurant to Eller. I had a combo meal with Greek salad and chicken gyro. The bread was fresh and fluffy while the chicken was slightly under-flavored and a little bit dry. Salad tastes great. Anyway it might not be the best Greek food in Tucson however it's a great place to have a quick lunch if you are an Eller student.

One of my favorite Greek places in Tucson Their Gyros are delicious and I really enjoy their Greek salads. This is where I always go when I'm craving Greek food. Their hours are a little strange and that would be my only complaint. I don't mind the large break between lunch and dinner, but some times they either aren't open during advertised hours or they are late opening up.

Food: C+ Service: C Environment: B- Overall: C This place is pretty mediocre when it comes to price and food quality. Its at least a 10 dollar meal and you barely get enough food to feed yourself. The euros are good, not great and you have to pay for anything in addition to it. An extra 5 bucks for hummus is a joke in my book. They also have luke warm free water that kind of grosses me out.

Some amazing gyros! You csnt go wrong with this place. However parking kinda sucks and not very much room for dining.

Just tried the gyro here - it's a very, very meaty sandwich. I'm sure that's a huge plus for some, but for me it was just too much. It got to the point that it stopped tasting good! Surprisingly nice inside. Check it out for a cheap gyro.

I have NO IDEA why anyone would go here. This is like the most white bread version of "greek" food you will find in Tucson outside of like the Pita Pit or something. How hard is it to do falafel right? Evidently pretty F-ing hard cuz they have totally blown it here. Bland, boring and tasteless. Hummus? They don't do that very well either. The bread is soft I guess, but so is wonderbread and that sucks too. It's just not good. Any hot sauce? Well, there is the GIGA bottle of Frank's Red Hot, but wait, I thought this was greek? Really, there is no reason to go here when Sinbad's is just as close if you're walking and Ali Baba's is a quick bike ride down the street. There is that greek place at the Main Gate too and it shreds this dump. My only plus for this eatery is the ladies are nice.... but they're blasting that damn TV and leafing through tabloids. Nightmare.

I would go here if you are looking for cheap, fast, not -so-good food. I ordered the greek salad with chicken. The salad was iceberg lettuce black olives (like the from the can), the dressing was definitely italian, and the cheese... well im still trying to figure out what kind of cheese it was. The chicken was pretty dry and fried. I did however enjoy the weather outside on their patio as well as my water. I wont be going back.

I got the gyro combo plate with the "Greek salad". The gyro was good but the salad was truly awful. Iceberg lettuce, a few black olives and cucumbers with a mediocre dressing. Get the fries.

The gyros are so good!! For a fast food place, this place is decent. For $6 a gyro, there is a lot of meat and it is very juicy. The sauce that comes with it is nice and compliments the gyro! It might look a little sketchy, but definitely give it a try.

For a great gyro for lunch time on campus this place was really good. Fresh good, cooked authentically right in front of you. Water sprinklers to help you cool in the Arizona heat while you sat on the patio enjoying your gyro. This place stayed greek, did not try to act part Mediterranean or Lebanese. French fries were always nice and think and fresh. The food was always prepared right in front of you. Only drawbacks: - Closed on weekends when you really want to sit outside, eat and enjoy the sun - Pricey - $8+ now for a gyro and fries is not exactly the student budget for a lunch. Would highly recommend, just wish was not as pricey when I was in college. Hours are limited to pretty much school hours. 3.5 star would be an accurate assessment.

Great food! I never really enjoyed lamb before I came here... I go to the business college at UA and its such a short walk I always try and convince my friends to get lunch there. I agree with the other post, if you aren't looking for a line, don't come between 12 and 1. That being said, the place is small but there is seating in front as well. Parking is a bit of a headache but if it is after 5:00pm take advantage of the UA Zone 1 parking lots...they are not too far of a walk and the walk will feel good after you eat. Enjoy!

Alright. Out of all gyros in Tucson, this is the place to go. Big, stuffed gyros with huge ass fries. Good stuff for Tucson. But here's my complaint. Chicken Soulvaki*. It's the most expensive cardboard I've ever eaten. I'm pretty sure all the chicken dishes in this restaurant blow. Seriously, the chicken breast strips were disgustingly dry, no amount of yogurt dressing could've saved it. AND I thought prices for cardboard boxes in UPS were bad! Cool gyros. Disgusting bird. Cutie with a booty behind the counter also.

Greek chicken salad and Lamb Gyros are pretty good. A little pricey for what you get. But this place is way better than the one on University Blvd. Serving sizes are bigger and the prices are cheaper. They only have 2 parking spots which is ridculous.

Still a little bit shady as in not so friendly hole-in-the-wall, but great pita, super fresh green leaf lettuce (ask for it!), and wonderful chicken and lamb gyros. The meat is slightly dry but not charred, and I guess slightly dry is better than dripping with oil. A definite step up from mall food, but I still have this lasting impression that true Greece would be a much better experience.

This place sucks. To all you folks who think this is Greek you should try Athens on 4th or the place in the food court at Park Place Mall. The place smelled like old dirty gease. The help was gossiping in the front, go to the back and talk shit, nobody wants to hear that shit over lunch, WTF? Then they turned the TV up? The food had no flavor, my greek salad had italian dressing on it with black olives. I will never even think of going back. If you have a young palate you might enjoy it but this was make shift Greek if I have ever seen it. Did they even have hummus or tzatziki?

You have to Jim's Greek Patio it up. Jim is awesome. Best source for gyros in Tucson.

We went at 7:23 pm on a Thursday night (today) as I wanted to eat a place I hadn' t been to before that was close. Had one sign that said they were closed and one sign that said they were open. We opened the door and they told us they were closed. Cool man, it says you're open till 8 on yelp and you haven't locked the door and we drove here just to try your gyros for the first time. Guess what? Will not be going back to eat here again. And I saw another customer leave right before we did... what looked to be empty handed.

There's likely a new owner since the pre-2012 reviews. I came here a few times a month throughout 2013 and never had a bad experience. The food is ok for a quick bite. If you want truly authentic or flavorful Greek food, you may not find it here. Rich's recommendation: avoid lunch hour because this place is directly across the street from campus.

Call before you go, because while the Greek Patio is my favorite Greek food in town, their hours are based on a siesta schedule that is not set in stone and on the owners fancy! I always get the Gyro combo and it is huge, delicious and more than enough even when I am feeling especially hungry. There isn't much parking, but you can find a couple tandem spots right next to the building or park at the gas station and eat quickly so you don't get a ticket. If they had more dependable hours I would happily bump my review up to 4 stars!

If you are looking for some really good Greek food, Greek Patio is not the place to go. Honestly I do not understand how this place stays in business when they charge 8-10 dollars per combo meal with food that does not back the prices. Both of my experiences eating here have been forgettable. As a matter of fact the last time I ate here I could not even finish the food because the food was so bad. Both times I ordered a Gyro and they were both equally bad. The Gyros include: meat, onion, tzatziki sauce, and a tomato. I believe the problem lies in the meat they serve the Gyros with. The meat was never warm and always seemed like it hard been sitting out for awhile absorbing grease in the meanwhile and by the time I receive my order, I am eating a cold, hard, greasy piece of meat. The one tomato, sparse onions, and unevenly distributed tzatziki sauce does not complement the meat by any means. The side that I received with my meals were the fries which were also nothing special. They had very little if any seasoning and, like the Gyro, maybe sat out a little too long before they were served. To complete the order, I had to shovel out 9 dollars for my order both times. For this price there are much better options just down the street on University. I would not recommend this place and if you happen to be looking for Greek food, walk two blocks over to The Fat Greek or a few more blocks to Athens on 4th.

Yummy gyros! Jim's is great, super fast and super delicious. I go for a gyro and fries combo, keeping it simple. And you get a free fountain drink with the purchase of any combo. I like to call my order in before we get there so I can start chowing down asap! As an Eller student the location couldn't be any better for me, and the outside patio is a great place to eat and people watch. One of the downsides, as I discovered today, is that there is no WIFI! I would have loved to sit down and bust out my laptop, food always seems to make work much more enjoyable. Check out Jim's if you're looking for some cheap greek eats!

This joint is a perfect example of why dining around campus is so rad: IT'S CHEAP! Quick service with fresh ingredients make this place worth recommending. Besides, it's near the college of business, which is where the geniuses of U of A can be found!! ;)

For greek fast food and for a break from the slaving away of my life that is law school, Greek Patio is a great treat. Its close location to the university makes it a convenient stop for students. That being said, if you're not into big crowds, you might want to avoid the law school lunch rush between 12p and 1p. Serving sizes are generous. The food is a little bit high on the price scale compared to some surrounding choices. I usually get the chicken souvlaki with fries. I'm always pleased with my food. The fries are outstanding. I usually don't like steak fries, but I crave these on a regular basis. With all of this said, you'll have to remember that Greek Patio is essentially fast food, so you can't expet uber healthy food. Service is quick and friendly. The guy at the front-counter during the lunch rush is always very friendly and will try and remember you and your order to make life easy. This was a go-to my first year of law school because it was close, convenient, decently priced, and tasty. I've even brought my partner on a weekend just to try it out.
