Across the street from the hotel we stayed in and what a great surprise. Service was great and fast and the food was outstanding. Wishing we had one near home. Great job on everything. You guys are now on my definite place to stop when in town.

This was kind of our spot to meet up with my brother and our kids. I've come today kid free for a mommy and daddy breakfast date. I guess they remodeled and I hate it. I couldn't bring my kid here anymore... He's 3 and now their new concept is just not is kid friendly. There's no privacy and it's like you're eating breakfast in a big room with other people. Also, I asked for water. In every other restaurant in the USA, I would get a glass of water with ice. Nope. Got a milk jug style container with no ice and I got to pour it myself! And it was room temperature. Seriously?? We aren't coming back here only because it's not the same place we grew to love.

I enjoy The Good Egg enough. I appreciate that it is a local chain with a fairly substantial menu. I mean, come one, if you have eggs Benedict and french toast on a menu with a few juice (kale and carrot-based) options, I take this as a good sign. And the hollandaise is pretty good! Creamy, soft and pretty flavorful. It does not taste like it came out of a baggie. Yay! *Note: The juices are quite sweet. Too much apple and orange juice -- but glad to see them on the menu nonetheless. This location seems a bit less organized than others. For example, I find that the servers don't appear to be as communicative, and you find food sitting on tables for a bit too long. Even while people are waiting. Not a good sign. But (!) the folks who work here are very cordial. I've never had a problem with personality types. I get the sense that they are just a bit run off their feet. Word of warning: It must certainly be the location. This restaurant seems to get quite a bit more busy than others in town. Yes, even more so than the one near the Tucson Mall and the one near Grant and Swan. On the weekends, expect to wait 15-20 minutes. But the restaurant has a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating for those who are waiting.

I went in a couple days ago with friends and was shocked to find it was remolded. The only draw back to this new design (in my opinion) is how far away the host's station is. It kind of creates a slight discomfort upon walking in and I'm sure this is uncomfortable for the host who was greeting guests from 15 feet away. My waiter was Trevor. I took note of his name only because of how friendly and attentive he was, and I feel like you don't see that much anymore and I will request him for my next visit. I ordered an Old Pueblo and it was GREAT. Absolutely worth the money and I WILL be back.

Went with a group of friends on a weekend, wait wasn't too long... Server was rude from the very start. Never smiled. Wouldn't get us another water or silverware because it's not her job... She then took everyone else's order around us ignoring us for over 15 minutes. Food took a while. When it came out it was really disappointing. I've eaten at the Grant location and it was so much better. When server brought check we told her we needed separate ones and she said we said all on one check when she asked in the beginning... In which was a completely lie, she barely said 2 words, let alone a whole sentence. Actually talked to manager since service was so awful. But since the food was kinda bleh, I'll just drive the extra 5 minutes to the Grant location.

Thanks for the samonella on Friday. My weekend is off to a great start. Went to the good egg for lunch yesterday and have been paying for it since.

Haven't been here in years so went with a friend. They are in the middle of a remodel and not sure how I like the look. The coffee was good but I like strong sludge like coffee. My friend was not impressed. The menu has changed. She got the biscuits and gravy, I got the short stack of pancakes with protein powder. Food was okay not seeing the real value here but good lord the pancakes were huge. I ate 1 cake. I will more than likely not return it didn't set well.

Just returned to AZ from FL. I had bad experiences at this particular location in the place but thought Id give them another chance. Nope. Same issues here. I was sat by a Manager next to the hostess stand where the Manager literally had to look at me and observed that I was not approached by anyone for almost ten minutes. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Horrible, no flavor, chaved ham instead of slices and all this for $13.00. For Breakfast. Ill make sure never to give them another shot. Didn't feel important as a customer. However, the server was nice and got a nice tip.

As a real breakfast lover, I have to say that this place was a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect since we aren't from the area, and were in town for our daughters graduation. However, from the moment we were greeted with a friendly smile and courteous service and checked in, to the final bite- the experience was awesome! The coffee and water set up outside on the patio while we waited was a very nice touch. Once seated we enjoyed more hot coffee while we settled in and made our breakfast selection. My hubby ordered the Wildcat and as advertised it was delicious and spicy! I ordered the veggie skillet and it didn't disappoint. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The veggies were not overlooked and my skillet was topped with cheese and two perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs. My mom enjoyed a traditional ham and eggs breakfast. All in all, I would definitely come back for the yummy food and great service!

Everything in Arizona is so damn clean. I love it. If you walk into a breakfast join in NY you walk out smelling like grease, syrup stuck in your hair & bacon crumbs on your butt from the dirty seat. Well that being said, I'm from out of town and stopped by this place before our trade show. Great service, great tasting food all around, refills on tea & coffee often. What more can you ask for? I didn't go for lunch but there were a ton of breakfast options and they had a convenient calorie count on the menu too. Great prices too. I highly suggest this place!

Typical chain restaurant - think Perkins or Denny's. Pretty decent breakfast. Haven't ever had a wait on the weekend.

I would say a typical chain restaurant. I'm not a fan of those for breakfast. I would say it's like an iHop with a little touch of the southwest. Sometimes there can be a wait. However, must give credit where it was due. Food is good. Should try at least once if you leave in Tucson. They recently changed their menu. I think I preferred the older one but it's pretty much the same.

This place is yummy, but they got rid of their flavored coffee and corned beef hash :( Seasonal pancakes however are delicious, as well as every other breakfast item I have tried. Place is always clean and the waitstaff is super attentive and helpful. Just sad they changed their menu. Now they're like any other breakfast place...

Ordered the huevos rancheros. Could have mistaken it as an entree off the children's menu. Portion was so small I had to look twice to find it. Compare that with a large stack order of pancakes - big enough to serve the 82nd airborne. Service was terrible too. Staff seemed as though they showed up to have fun amongst themselves and chat rather than work and serve the guests. Gotta love the power of the 1 cent tip - back to IHOP I go!

During the week when I don't have to get eat breakfast at home I just call in order to Good Egg and they have it ready in 15 minutes. The Spanish omelette is great and the portion sizes are pretty decent too.

A good spot for breakfast or lunch. They have a lot of breakfast items that are yummy. I had lunch this time. The Baja chicken enchilada soup was so yummy and filling. Great flavor. The chicken salad sandwhich was ok. A little bland but all in all it was ok. I will definitely have the soup again.

Very tasty. Only recently moved back into the area and my wife recommended. I had the corned beef hash, generally a fan of mine. Tasted like it came from a can, but was good. Was hoping for something less processed. However, portion was good and was flavorful. Lots of choices on their menu. Staff was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. Was not busy when we went. If you like breakfasts meals, would recommend. Have to try there for lunch.

Amazingly friendly and inviting service. Food is always great here. I suggest the Old Pueblo, my absolute favorite. Ample parking. Always busy, but staffed sufficiently and hardly ever a wait. Clean, safe and bright. A must stop for all.

This is a nice place for Saturday brunch. The menu had a lot of cool options, like varieties of Benedicts and crepes. I had the sunrise Benedict, with avocado, turkey, and tomato, and was pleased. I was not, however, pleased with the demeanor of the servers. I came alone so I was seated at the bar and the servers who came by were all kind of eh whatever you're alone so I don't care. They all seemed like snotty college girls who think they're too good to be servers. I don't think any of them smiled at me even once when they came to check on me. Other than that the service was good.

Very good food. Enjoyed the egg white and 7 veggie omelet. Very kid friendly. They bring a snack for the kids while they wait for their meal and give you a drink to go if you order one.

(+) - crepe egg - healthy one - twin peaks french toast (~) - turkey sandwich with avocado on wheat First time I came here I was underwhelmed, inside is very drab and outdated looking. My turkey sandwich was average and side of fruit was not very sweet. We gave this place another chance and was pleasantly surprised with two much better dishes: French toast is one of my fav breakfast dishes and they did not disappoint. Got the twin peaks which is half the size of the normal dish (smaller portions ftw!). Came topped with fruit and whipped cream YUM. My favorite was the crepe egg - healthy one. Wasn't too sure what to expect but basically they add a crepe skin outside your omelette, its a nice complement taste wise. There was tons of mushroom, broccoli, and I could barely taste any turkey but it was still deliciousss. Came with a buttered english muffin which I couldn't finish because I was so full from the omelette. Would recommend as long as you stick to the breakfast foods.

Had a bad experience years ago at the Scottsdale location and never have them a second chance. What a mistake! We've been looking for a new breakfast home since Bobo's lost their chef and their cinnamon french toast went downhill. The Good Egg is absolutely my new go-to breakfast choice. The Old Pueblo skillet is fantastic! They even make their own chorizo in-house. The service was perfect for this kind of establishment, super fast and friendly. Note I came in the late afternoon so we missed the lunch rush, it probably is slower earlier in the day. Great experience, great food.

I have eaten at a couple of their locations while visiting Tucson and have always enjoyed the food. The decor is adorable and the service is always top notch. I had an excellent omelet on my last visit and our server kept my ice tea refills coming! And he got extra points for offering me a "to-go" cup on my way out - much appreciated!

Eggs benedict is my go to here. It's so perfect the shave grilled ham is so flavorful, the poach egg is always prepared just right and the spinach is delicious. The breakfast potatoes are to to die for. I love getting a side of Pico DE Gallo to add to them. The iced tea here is so good and I love the large Togo cup when I leave. The breakfast bar is quick service and always super friendly.

Who doesn't love a good brunch?? The Good Egg definitely delivered. As usual, I was craving pancakes and something salty. After looking over the large menu, I had already decided that another trip was needed. The waitress was very nice and gave us great recommendations: my husband decided on one of their specials, a barbeque sandwich topped with coleslaw, avocado and bacon. I chose one of their skillets and was not sorry. Fortunately, my husband's sandwich came with a side and I sweet talked him into getting pancakes. Everything we ordered was delicious and satisfying. What knocked this from a 5-star to a 4-star was we seemingly got forgotten about after our food was dropped off. We waited over 20 minutes for our nice waitress to deliver our bill but finally went up to the counter and asked the hostess. She must have gone on a break or something but our initial yummy and happy thoughts left and we felt annoyed and anxious. Bummer. We'll be back and just carve out more time in our day for the meal.

I have eaten at the good egg 1-2x a year for the past 7 years and obviously it's OK, but although nothing here is bad, nothing here really gets me really excited. first the good: 1. clean, airy dining area is well lit. they also have a patio and are located in a well maintained business center. 2. food is not greasy and the menu is large with heathy options 3. crayons for the kids! 4. frequent eaters punch card! then the mediocre: 1. standard fare. not very exciting and not plated in an appealing manner 2. bad coffee 3. can be crowded in the mornings, but at least they try to make your wait (outside) more pleasant by providing water in the wait area 4. more than i want to pay for a simple breakfast in short, this is a "safe" place to eat and you could get the same thing for way less up the street at brawley's (well, okay, minus the pleasant dining area). i've never had a bad visit, nor have i ever left feeling like i'd be back soon. when someone suggests we go here i can sum up my enthusiasm as: "eh."

Had a late breakfast/early lunch today. The tomato soup wasn't hot. The 1/2 turkey sandwich had 2 very thin slices of turkey (the description said shaved turkey) I had to search for it between the lettuce! The omelette wad hot and very good but the potatoes were barely warmed. I think its best to stick with breakfast at this location.

I always have a solid dinning experience here. They're fairly quick and the food is always good. This place is also great for kids. They serve kids honey cheerios and apples while you wait for your food which i'm sure the parents out there know can make such a diffence in how your children behave in the first 15 minutes. I normally order the Healthy Crepe Eggs which is delicious. It's egg whites served in a light crepe with a hollandaise type sauce on type. It's delicious AND healthy! Their pancakes are also great. I normally order them for my son and he loves them. For $5 you get a kids drink, pancakes, eggs, and a meat choice. It's a great deal! No matter what you get i'm sure you will be pleased.

I think the Good Egg is given a good reputation for the main fact that they are easily accessible. They have a captive audience. The place is always busy, the prices are pretty high for the amount of seating and waiting times. In my opinion, their location is more of what makes them popular than the food, ambiance, or service. It is almost like an event for the pretentious than an eating experience. Then, several of the patrons sit at their table talking for an hour after they eat. The restaurant should encourage people to move on on busy days.

Had a nice breakfast with good coffee. I would defintly suggest this for breakfast. Egg whites, spinach and veggies. Gluten free.
I went to The Good Egg for lunch. I ordered a salad. It was fine, but nothing special. I think my mistake was going for lunch instead of breakfast. The breakfast menu is much larger and more appealing. I think that if I go back for breakfast or brunch, I will be much happier.

Pizza hut makes great pizzas...Burger king is the King of Burgers... The Good Egg... does a eggs .... good? Indeed, The Good Egg does eggs well, and in so many different styles! This place is your run-of-the-mill type of brunch/breakfast place with all sorts of great breakfasts, and lunch items. I'd say a few steps above your Denny's and Carrows, with a little bit more personality, and a lot of great breakfast options. As with all breakfast places I come into contact with, I HAVE to try their Corn Beef Hash... and this place doesn't dissapoint. A good crunch, just the right balance of potatoes and corned beef, and a couple of eggs over easy make my breakfast amazing. Top it off with a large Apple Juice, a few squares of sourdough toast, and we've got ourselves a great breakfast. Waiters are attentive, and very nice. However service gets a little too "diner-ish" during peak hours as this place gets packed. Especially Sunday's, you could be waiting in the waiting-area for 30+ minutes! Overall, I love this place, and would frequent here more often if they'd slash their prices a little... Tucson has a lot to offer in the cheap, yet delicious breakfasts!

One of my favorite breakfast places in Tucson. I like all the locations but the one on Broadway/Craycroft is by far my favorite. I love the atmosphere, the servers are always smiling, nice, and very attentive. Very knowledgeable with the menu and always suggesting things. I mean who doesn't love a good breakfast or a good brunch?? I always get the same thing when I go. Corned-beef hash with 3 eggs. Always perfect! Coffee is great. They have a punch card to where you get a free entree after like 7 or 8 meals. I have been there so many times I have used a bunch of those cards. You can even combine them later too if you forget yours. Everyone has to go to here at least once if you're visiting Tucson!!

Dependable, that's what I'd call it. Glorified Denny's. You can get your egg dishes like my husband got- Huevos Rancheros (gringo-fied, of course), but they also have "special- to-them" dishes like their crepe omelet, which is what I got. Served with a side of hollaindaise (YUM) and a fruit cup 'n english muffin. Their coffee was good and they offer Stevia in addition to the regular sugar tray finds like Sweet n Low!! And true to a good corporate run restaurant, great service where they hit all their points. Seems like everybody likes it there and there's always people coming & going. Something for everybody, check it out!

It's clean, friendly, and the food is good. It's not as cheap as some places, but I always leave full. I try to eat here whenever I'm in Arizona. I love the Wildcat Scramble. Being a java addict, I also like that they will give you a to go cup for your coffee when you're done eating. Sit at the counter, cause it's fun.

We used to come here for years, once a month, always on Saturdays. We always had amazing service, the manager was top notch and the food always consistent and outstanding. Lately, all that has changed. I really love this place, and I was indecisive about actually writing a bad review...today was the last straw. Our waitress was friendly, but completely invisible. When she would stop at the tables next to us it was almost like she would purposely turn her back/head to avoid looking our way. We waited over twenty minutes for her to take our order. We waited over fifteen minutes for refills. We finally had to ask another waitress, she came back within 2 minutes. Hmmm... I ordered a skillet. It was supposed to come with ham, sausage and bacon and veggies over potatoes. The dish was almost all potatoes. If I'm paying ten bucks for a breakfast it better have meat in it! There were bits of bacon, and that's about it. I ended up eating something else when I got home. Good Egg, when you increase your portion size or lower your price and work on your waitstaff I will be back. Until then, I'd rather spend ten bucks and get an awesome meal that actually fills me up at The Hungry Fox.

This location of the Good Egg is somewhat unpleasant with the proximity to the main thoroughfare of Broadway and constantly opening and closing of car doors being too close to the open doors of the restaurant. Once you walk in, the people who work there satisfactorily perform their tasks, but the people who worked there were less cordial than the location on Grant. The food was average. The French toast delivered was more like a stack of cinnamon swirl bread cut four inches too high. I was hoping they would use their standard white bread that makes for good toast instead of what they used. The quality of their turkey sausage patties was on the poor side with a lot of gristle. I didn't care for the Huevos Rancheros in that I didn't like the taco chips that were underneath what tasted like a can of black beans with melted cheese on top. As a chain, maybe this restaurant thinks it can relax the quality of standard of food served, but it doesn't go unnoticed.

I really like this place! I actually can't believe that I've lived in Tucson now for 9 years and never visited before last week. My girls and I liked it so much that we went back 4 days later to take the hubby. So, for me, the prices are pretty great. I think they are affordable in general, but even more so because of the quality of the ingredients they use. Speaking of which, I enjoyed reading all about their use of fresh, local ingredients in the menu. So, they have yummy meat and potato options, omelets, breakfast skillets, french toast, pancakes and vegetarian offerings just to name a few of the Good Egg's specialties. I also really appreciate that the calories for each item is listed. Service was awesome the first visit, but on the second time around, a bit shaky, but nothing to really complain too much about So, yeah, I'm a fan!!

Bright, clean and pleasant surroundings, the restaurant was about 50% full when we went at lunch. Our server was prompt and friendly and did a great job. I ordered a cheese omelette which came with an English muffin and country fries. Presentation was bland....no garnishes. The omelette was delicious, but the muffin was only warm and the potatoes were a bit cooled off too. I personally disllke food cooled off when It's supposed to be hot. My friend ordered their "famous" cinnamon roll with caramel sauce and pecans. It was very tough to cut and dried out. After telling the cashier about it, she apologized and offered a card for a free entree. Total cost for 2 was about $11.00 I would go to the The Good Egg again but I think I'll try another location.

The good egg is great especially if you are trying to eat a little healthier at breakfast. The food is fresh, menu diverse, service generally good, and prices reasonable. The good egg is not the best place you will ever eat breakfast but it surely is a good place to eat breakfast. My most recent visit and suprisingly the first time I have checked in at all of my visits was a generally good experience. The wait was under 10 minutes, the server was a bit behind the power curve but generally friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was a bit noisy and chaotic but it wasn't interruptively loud. My food was just ok, I tried their seasonal Pumpkin Spice Pancakes and I should have abstained. There was excess hints of ginger, mushy pumpkin pieces, and the cakes were undercooked. I have ate here enough to know it was either a bad day or a bad seasonal menu item so I can't dock more then 1 star from the place. My eggs were as requested and bacon great as always. So avoid the Pumpkin Spice pancakes and enjoy everything else.

The staff is friendly, the seating and decor is comfortable. My family and I were once regulars at the Broadway location, at least once a week. Until... They had (have?) a waitress there who paid much less attention than she should have toward her hygiene, given the fact that she came into close proximity to food. Her skin was a grey color, just had this overall grimy look to her. We had her as our waitress a few times and it was difficult for me to eat because... call me crazy... I like a clean waitstaff. The last straw, however, was one morning, as she went to pour me coffee I noticed her hands were wet... and then watched as if in slow mo a drip roll down her finger to -kerPLUNK!- into my coffee. Gag. I know it's just one waitress, but a restaurant that would employ someone of questionable hygiene is questionable itself. That was 8 months ago. My family and I went again this week, to see if we were truly writing off one of our favorite places. The staff was friendly (no sign of the drippy fingers waitress that day), but the food was less than special. My son's quesadilla was "nasty," and I swear my omelet had bacon bits rather than bacon in it. Sorry.. for $9, I want the real deal. We won't be going back unfortunately. On a somewhat unrelated side note, back in July my family and I were in San Diego, driving all over looking for what locals said was the best breakfast place in town. Drove for an hour looking and finally found it. Sat down, opened the menu... and it was 99% identical to The Good Egg's menu. Called The Eggery. Apparently owned or inspired by (the man I asked wasn't clear) the owners of the Good Egg in Phoenix. Found it a funny coincidence.

We've been to this Good Egg location a few times now, including this past weekend. It is a decent breakfast/lunch/brunch place. It doesn't knock my socks off at all. That being said, I'll still return every once in a while, especially when I have a coupon! The eggs are just kinda eggs. They're not amazingly seasoned or cooked to perfection. In fact, I don't think there's been a time that i've been here when the eggs I've ordered have come the way I wanted them (over medium well). They are usually more like OVER EASY, or more raw. And I hate runny whites. Gross. I have to send eggs back every time. Now I just order them scrambled. Anyway. There are lots of different ingredient/dish options to put your eggs with, which is nice. Even with all the options, I can't find something that truly makes me go "wow". The bread (which tasted slightly stale today) and English muffins are just bread and English Muffins. Nothing special. The syrup they use is very good, and a lot thicker and tastier than regular old syrup. The French Toast is usually good, when the bread crust isn't super dry from either being stale or not getting coated in egg before cooking. In fairness, that has only happened in our most recent trip. Every other time it has been excellent, and I will order it again. The lunch sandwiches are usually decent, with some tasty sandwich combinations, but they always leave me feeling a little bit sick an hour later. Dunno why, but I've stopped eating them because of it. They also usually have a "flavor of the day" brewed iced tea, which is nice because it adds some variety and a little "surprise" every time you go to The Good Egg. I liked the grape and watermelon the best so far. The service generally leaves something to be desired. It's a good thing their drinks come in large glasses, because it's hard to get a refill sometimes. They're always usually friendly, however. The decor in the restaurant is ok. It feels cleaner than some of the other breakfast places in town. The prices are ok-ish, maybe borderline expensive, but not too bad. Overall, I come here wanting to feel like I've eaten and experienced something a little bit better than Denny's, but I walk away feeling like I could've easily went to Denny's instead.

Just moved to town and grabbed our first meal here. The service started out really great, our server was super friendly, much more so than I was early in the morning after moving all day the day before. I ordered the Eye Opener Combo, and my roommate ordered the Arizona Omelette. Our drinks were always full, but that's because they left a pitcher on the table. I really wanted to like the place, but the food just wasn't that great. I guess the search for a good brunch place continues.

Not going back to the location at Broadway and Craycroft. I went to the Good Egg with my sister and niece. We ordered the traditional breakfast eggs and pancakes and kids' 'Minnie Mouse' pancake for my niece. I had to chase the waitress to specify I wanted the wheat pancakes. The waitress said she forgot to ask me. She also forgot to get us silverware for my niece- we had to get it off another table. We asked for napkins at one point and she never brought them. We got our food. My sister's two slices of bacon were burned! Not just a little crisp, completely burned! And her potatoes were overly seasoned. Both my pancakes were completely burned on the bottom as well. My niece's pancake was supposed to be 'Minnie Mouse' and what she got was a whipped cream mess with two crooked little pancakes that were supposed to be mouse ears. The blueberry 'eyes' were wilted. She refused to eat it. My eggs were cold by the time she came to check on us so I could point out the burned bacon and pancakes. She brought my sister more bacon, but I told her to cancel my order since my sister had already finished eating. The food was prepared sloppily, presentation was awful, the service was horrible, although the waitress was pathetically trying to be helpful. The manager did give us the entire meal for free though.

Went for a late breakfast again and got one the veggies skillet this time instead of a omelet. Had two eggs over medium on the top of potatoes with all kinds of veggies. Really good this time and we all enjoyed the pancakes too! Service was good too but the place was pretty empty as it was around 12:30p

I used to really like this location....but lately it's been really meh at best. We went today and our waiter was slow, forgetful and not even apologetic when he forgot to bring things to our table. The food was sub-par. Gross fruit, cold potatoes...just not good. We asked for water/soda to go and waited for over 10 minutes for the server to bring them. Eventually we just left because clearly he was done with our table. When we went to pay the host was on the phone, totally ignoring us-very rude. We tried to ask a question and he didn't even acknowledge us. I'll stick to the other locations from now on.

The Good Egg is open for breakfast and lunch only. They have eggs, pancakes, omelets, and for lunch they have salads and sandwiches. Pretty standard for a breakfast place. But they do it better here. The food is really good. Simple items, like omelets or pancakes, taste like something the average college student could not make on their own. Potatoes for breakfast, which I do NOT like, have just the right amount of spice and crispiness. Although I could never bring myself to order them, I have tried them and they are delicious. My favorite item at first bite? The apple crunch crepes. Three crepes filled with baked fuji apples and cottage cheese with granola, sprinkled cinnamon, and whipped cream on top. Drizzled with honey cinnamon yogurt sauce. First bite is orgasmic, but after eating a fourth of it you'll quickly realize how much sugar you have just eaten by the headache that will be bestowed upon you. If you buy a drink you can drink it in the restaurant and then get a to go cup. At no additional charge. Service can be off when they're busy. The welcoming process is great but after being served it gets slow. They give you free coffee while you wait.

All the comfort breakfast foods you want to make at home, but don't take the time to make. Blintzes looked great and pancakes enormous. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon in stead of ham and it was very good. The 50's music playing in the background was not too loud. Service was quick and friendly. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

I should start by explaining I am not a breakfast person. Which is a shame because The Good Egg seemed to have a pretty good grasp on it. What got me here was the breakfast options, the full menu could have been a novel, but luckily the staff, both friendly and proffessional guide you through all the sides, extras, and substitutions, (of which there were literally hundreds). The atmosphere was very welcoming, a seemingly great place for family breakfast. I'm in the midst of deciding between 3 or 4 stars because although it was a very average experience, I would say it was just slightly above average for a breakfast joint (when compared to so many of the Denny's and WaHo's out there). For that reason I'm unofficially giving it a 3.5, but keep in mind I don't reccommend going out of your way to make a visit. Also, if you happen to go whilst nursing a debilitating hangover like I did, you might find all the menu puns pretty f*cking egg-ravating.

The food is good but the coffee is terrible, it's weak and doesn't even taste like coffee. You can tell it's a cheap grade. Fix the coffee and I'd give it another star. The service was good, they try to please.

I really wanted to fall in love with this place, but it turned out to be average for me. The service was good, the bowl of fruit was good (but it's kind of hard to mess up fruit), the egg white omelette was ok (bland but the eggs were cooked well). I unfortunately could have done the same at home for less. I will, however, think about giving them another go and try for some pancakes or waffles because they looked super tasty!

We had some real issues with our service being consistent at first and they were clearly slammed as it was Sunday morning at 10am but they insisted and removing all the items in question from our bill, deducting an additional 10% from the bill and giving us certificates for two free entrees on our next visit....the food was delicious and clearly they are invested in customer service

This was just another breakfast restaurant, nothing exciting. I had the pancakes and eggs. Bacon was a little too crispy for me. The potatoes were alright but I prefer hash-browns more. Probably would not go back but it was ok since I was there.

This is my favorite "classic" breakfast place in Tucson. We've tried some of their locations in Phoenix and Tucson and they're all very good. I've tried a few different dishes...biscuits and gravy, some of the scrambles, and eggs benedict. My husband is partial to the Eye Opener Combo, with pancakes, eggs, and substitute turkey sausage patties for bacon. Their orange juice is excellent. Others have mentioned that they offer free coffee and water for those who have to wait for a table. If anything, they are a little TOO attentive here, and the servers and managers tend to ask you how you are doing frequently. Which is nice, but not necessary.

The Good Egg is nothing to write home about. The food is decent and what you would expect from a run of the mill brunch style restaurant. I'd much rather go to a local diner/dive to get my breakfast, but if a friend suggested to go here for some morning fare, I wouldn't say no.

I've been here about 4 times for breakfast and it's been consistently good each time. The wait is never too long, the service is always good and the food is above average, but not terrific. I haven't found a favorite yet, every time I go, I try something new. I've had the Biscuits and Gravy, the Blueberry crepe thing, the healthy heart crepe thing and the some sort of combo thing with eggs, sausage and French toast. I think the French toast is my favorite so far. It's nothing fancy, but a good, solid breakfast.

THE BEST breakfast place in the state of Arizona (and probably the other 49 states too!) Went there for the first time on Fathers Day and the wait was ONLY 15 min. The service was outstanding and the menu choices were fabulous! Our daughters were sold when they saw "oreo pancakes". The food was incredible. Cannot say enough great things about this place.

This place will always be my favorite place to eat breakfast EVER. I just wish it was in LA :[ The pancakes are bigger than your face, and the diameter of a frisbee. The "petite" pancakes I thought would come out the shape of little dollar coins, or perhaps even as big as a teacup saucer. But no, they are the size of regular pancakes you'd get anywhere else. I don't know how they do it. How do they get gigantor sized pancakes to be so incredibly soft yet fluffy? It's not cakey or dense at all, but light and airy and when it's drenched with the warrrmm maple syrup they leave for you on the table?? Utter heaven. Since I'm kind of health conscious, I am IN LOVE with their egg white omellettes and their egg white fritattas. Now, if they could make them without oil. . .I'd be in cloud nine. They also can substitute your regular buttermilk pancakes with whole wheat ones (holler) and switch out the potatoes with fruit? No problem!!! This place is ALL ABOUT substitutions. You can sub out toast for a pancake, or get english muffins if that's your thing. You can get potatoes, or fruit or veggies. . .there are endless possibilities, and that's what I love about this place. The service is impeccable, the waiters and waitresses are always happy and smiling, and they definitely take service seriously. Oh, and if bfast isn't your thing? They serve lunch here too, ranging from gigantic, overflowing salads to mouth watering burgers and sammies. This place is divine!!!

We were looking forward to trying 'The Good Egg' since we see them all over AZ and they get decent reviews. First impression was great - they quickly got us settled in with juice, coffee, water and crayons/games for the kids. The menu looked wonderful and the waitress was friendly. BUT then came the wait....the long wait....the very long wait for breakfast with kids that were, by now, very hungry and cranky. We saw many other tables (that were seated after us) get their breakfast before us. The waitress came over and apologized, saying that she was embarrassed whenever this happens (so its a common thing??). And we didn't order anything exotic on the menu, just your standard eggs and pancakes. Finally the food came and it was ok, nothing memorable. Then all of a sudden, while we were eating, there was a strong burning smell coming from the kitchen. Check please!

Hubby and I ate here during the week. Were seated quickly as there were not too many patrons, and we took a while to decide on our meals, but the waitress offered no help. A simple order of scrambled eggs turned out to be powdery textured...possibly from egg beaters. Eggs Benedict were real eggs. The dog sitting behind me stood up and licked my elbow after I sat down. I'm serious. I'm not from these parts, but I used to think that animals were not allowed in restaurants because of a health code violation? This was no service dog...just a pet, and ill-trained at that! So, aside from the collared patron, the smell of wet dog and the powdered eggs, it may have been ok. We will never go back.

I always enjoy The Good Egg for brunch with the family. They're very friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food and coffee are great. We recently stopped by and once again, they didn't disappoint me. There is a nice variety of food and everything that I've had so far has been great. Not to mention, if you're drinking coffee...they'll even give you a large cup of coffee to go! If you haven't eaten at the Good Egg, you're missing out.

I can't understand the excitement over this over-priced mediocre chain, at least for breakfast. Come on guys, $7.50 for eggs and bacon which is no better than any other chain, and not nearly as good as neighborhood mom and pop restaurants? Ridiculous.

Came to Arizona for a graduation. This is the place we had our breakfest. They have home like feel. We didn't have to wait long for a table. There food is very good they give you slot of food. They even had fresh apple juice. I would highly recommend this place.

I'm an eggs benedict lover, and I've been trying to find a restaurant that can make it at least as good as I can. Any place we visit for breakfast, and if they have eggs benedict, I ORDER IT!!! Well, I've seen the 'GOOD EGG' restaurant on broadway as we pass by, and have wanted to try it out. So finally our destination was this place. The good; seating was quick, service was fast and friendly. The bad; the yearning for a place I could visit for good eggs benedict for the rest of my life, (hence the restaurants' name, The Good Egg), became another, (but the worst experience of breakfast so far in Tucson), waste of time and money ever. My order came, the eggs, over cooked, (no runny yoke which is essential for proper eggs benedict), the canadian bacon was cooked properly, the sauce OK, the muffins were soaked with water!!! The cook doesn't have the experience of removing the poached egg without removing the water before placing it on the muffin! I forced myself to eat one, and finally complained. The manger gingerly gave me a new order, only to find out, that this order was even WORSE! The muffin was burnt and soaked with water again. The second order came quickly, which means to me, that it was NOT freshly made. The best eggs benedict made, that I have found so far, is at the Village Inn on Grant Road off of Wilmot. Its' about the same price, but compared to the 'Good Egg', priceless!! If it weren't for the home fry potatoes, I would of left hungry!

Visitng Tucson on a family vacation and decided to give the Good Egg a try. The restaurant was nice and friendly, clean and service was good. The food was good - not fabulous but good breakfast fare. A good value. The host was very helpful and friendly - all around a nice experience.

Unique coffee of the days, specials and old fashioned eggs are here. I like hollandaise sauce and they have several Egg Benedict variations that keep me coming back. The breakfast burrito, while you can get one almost anywhere these days, are a treat here. Breakfast and lunch no dinner. Good place to talk while you eat I have never noticed the location on Broadway noisy.

Wonderful! My family's favorite place to eat. Consistently good product, and the friendliest and most professional staff I've seen in a long time. Time after time they prove that every other breakfast place in Tucson is a mistake.

Everyone else mostly said it all. This place has a great breakfast. You spend a little more, but it's worth it. The Good Egg is clean, friendly, and fast. You can even get a coffee or water to go for no charge. Nowhere else does this.

I had my first bad experience at the Good Egg. The two eggs I ordered were disgusting. The yolks were pale white instead of a rich yellow-gold and the whites were watery and milky. I had ordered my eggs over-medium, which should be whites solid and yolks not yet cooked solid. This breakfast experience was terrible. I told the manager, paid and left without eating. That good egg on Broadway is a bad egg. The management should not allow such eggs to be used. They appeared to be unhealthy. Let's hope management cares a bit more in future.

Across the street from the hotel we stayed in and what a great surprise. Service was great and fast and the food was outstanding. Wishing we had one near home. Great job on everything. You guys are now on my definite place to stop when in town.
(5)Heather S.

(5)Niki T.
(2)Ryan H.
Thanks for the samonella on Friday. My weekend is off to a great start. Went to the good egg for lunch yesterday and have been paying for it since.
(1)Chris C.

Good food! Friendly staff! Had the Spicy Crepe-Egg and Spinach Omelet to-go. "tall-Girl" took care of the order and hooked everything up.

(4)Laura D.
(5)Thomas M.
Typical chain restaurant - think Perkins or Denny's. Pretty decent breakfast. Haven't ever had a wait on the weekend.
(4)Stephiee L.
(3)Cindy S.
(4)Hank M.
(2)Faith G.
During the week when I don't have to get eat breakfast at home I just call in order to Good Egg and they have it ready in 15 minutes. The Spanish omelette is great and the portion sizes are pretty decent too.
(5)Amanda M.
(3)Nathan M.
(4)Carrie W.
Great place for kids! Unique dishes for adults, food was fantastic! I was even able to put my name on the list via phone on my way over. Great experience!
(5)jason d.
Amazingly friendly and inviting service. Food is always great here. I suggest the Old Pueblo, my absolute favorite. Ample parking. Always busy, but staffed sufficiently and hardly ever a wait. Clean, safe and bright. A must stop for all.
(4)William K.
I ordered the Macho Nacho and it was great! Wait staff was very friendly and helpful, not bad on the eyes either!
(4)Cami C.
We live super close to this establishment. We have always received great service andgreat food here. My husband and I like to have brunch here. I look forward to eating here again soon. I give two thumbs up to the Good Egg!
(5)Gabi M.
(3)Lynell M.
Very good food. Enjoyed the egg white and 7 veggie omelet. Very kid friendly. They bring a snack for the kids while they wait for their meal and give you a drink to go if you order one.
(5)Julia S.
(4)Ariel S.
Great service and good food always! This location and the one on speedway are my favorite. Both have friendly employees and a clean setting.
(4)Brian C.
(5)Erin H.
(4)Anne D.
(5)Danielle B.
(4)Don C.
I have been a fan for years. I always get a great meal and it is so relaxing to have have a meal with the family. Love to go here.
(5)Ming-Min L.
(3)Joe P.
I thought the service was terrific. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes offered. The food here is very good. The biscuits and gravy were very tasty and not bland like other places I have been to lately.
(5)Dawn P.
(2)Anita L.
(4)Dana W.
(3)Cherlyn E.
Had a nice breakfast with good coffee. I would defintly suggest this for breakfast. Egg whites, spinach and veggies. Gluten free.
(4)Sue B.
I honestly don't know why the negative press for this place. Every time we've eaten here the food was great, and the service fine. Some of the offerings are very creative, some are very healthy, and all taste terrific. My personal fave is the 3 peaks French toast which features whipped cream, fruit, and nuts over the French toast. A delicious treat. The décor is very clean, neat, pleasant, and the prices not too high.
(5)Betsy Z.
I went to The Good Egg for lunch. I ordered a salad. It was fine, but nothing special. I think my mistake was going for lunch instead of breakfast. The breakfast menu is much larger and more appealing. I think that if I go back for breakfast or brunch, I will be much happier.
(3)Douglas K.
This place was ok. The food was average and service was not very fast, but nothing was bad either.
(3)Trina J.
Good stuff. I ordered the Popeye Scrambler with country potatoes. It was pretty good. I had cran raspberry juice for the first time and it was really good.
(3)Princess S.
Great food, especially their new Pineapple Upside down pancakes!

Good food and friendly, attentive staff - Always a favorite for breakfast.

We had a great breakfast and our server was friendly and professional

(3)Lyndsey G.
(2)Heather G.
We come here for breakfast almost every weekend and absolutely love it! Great food, great service.
(5)Brooke R.

(3)John C.
(3)steve j.
The food is good but the coffee is terrible, it's weak and doesn't even taste like coffee. You can tell it's a cheap grade. Fix the coffee and I'd give it another star. The service was good, they try to please.
(3)Tia W.
(3)Matthew R.
(4)Ashley D.
This was just another breakfast restaurant, nothing exciting. I had the pancakes and eggs. Bacon was a little too crispy for me. The potatoes were alright but I prefer hash-browns more. Probably would not go back but it was ok since I was there.
(3)Sunlit N.
(5)Lisa W.
The Good Egg is nothing to write home about. The food is decent and what you would expect from a run of the mill brunch style restaurant. I'd much rather go to a local diner/dive to get my breakfast, but if a friend suggested to go here for some morning fare, I wouldn't say no.
(3)Sonia T.
(3)Jennifer H.
(5)Mindy H.

Love love this place. Always good service and a great spot for a yummy breakfast.

(2)S. H.
(1)AJ M.
(5)Phil O.
I can't understand the excitement over this over-priced mediocre chain, at least for breakfast. Come on guys, $7.50 for eggs and bacon which is no better than any other chain, and not nearly as good as neighborhood mom and pop restaurants? Ridiculous.
(2)Maritza V.
Came to Arizona for a graduation. This is the place we had our breakfest. They have home like feel. We didn't have to wait long for a table. There food is very good they give you slot of food. They even had fresh apple juice. I would highly recommend this place.
(4)Tom L.
(1)Jodi L.
Visitng Tucson on a family vacation and decided to give the Good Egg a try. The restaurant was nice and friendly, clean and service was good. The food was good - not fabulous but good breakfast fare. A good value. The host was very helpful and friendly - all around a nice experience.
(3)Mike E.
(4)Bradley B.
Wonderful! My family's favorite place to eat. Consistently good product, and the friendliest and most professional staff I've seen in a long time. Time after time they prove that every other breakfast place in Tucson is a mistake.
(5)Bradley C.
Everyone else mostly said it all. This place has a great breakfast. You spend a little more, but it's worth it. The Good Egg is clean, friendly, and fast. You can even get a coffee or water to go for no charge. Nowhere else does this.
(5)John N.
