What an amazing transformation from the old, loud, and supposedly-Irish pub. The food at StillHouse is excellent, and the selection of beers is great. Sports on 4 TVs but not loud. Nice. Comfortable tables inside and out. Great burgers, terrific and original appetizers. Great for small and medium parties. Kids are welcome, and the kids menu is reasonably-priced.

Love the fried pickles and steak. The owner is courteous and the service is always great. Try the cherry moonshine...Yum!

The best fried pickles in town. Tasty burgers and their chicken tenders are great too. I've been four times now and they always have a couple of good beers on tap. Tried the cool water moonshine on Saturday night, it was refreshing. Service is good, sometimes slow when they're busy but that's what happens. One of my favorite east side spots.

This place is great. Every time we come and visit it just gets better and better. Service is excellent. Food is too. Try the Street Tacos!! So glad the new owners have transformed this into the best east side bar and restaurant there is. Highly recommended!!

Not sure how to explain my experience! To start off the last three reviews are spot on. I would like to be more specific about my rating. I would rate the establishments looks a 3 + and the food a -1. They definitely spent more time making the place look modern and classy but much less time thinking about the food service side. Advice to Stillhouse from a chef: 1) close your doors now!! 2) open them when you have a CHEF that can cook. Have that person re-do all aspects of your menu and presentation. Spend the money to hire a good chef. 3) listen to your other yelp reviews 3) if you don't follow 1-2 or 3 you will not make it. Unless, you have a lot of money saved. I'm not going to go into more because past and future reviews will tell you about what is expected at a simple/basic restaurant. You are wasting money and losing money now. Good luck!!

Our first visit, the beer selection was great, burgers were good, chicken club was just ok. On a Monday night the food took 45 minutes which shouldn't reflect on the server who was attentive, apologetic, and offered a free appetizer next time due to the wait. We may give it another shot, hopefully the wait on the food was just an isolated visit.

Stopped in for a lite lunch and left the Stillhouse much lighter in tge wallet...I was charged 7.99 for a full house salad that was very very small...the prices are very high for what you get. Decor and vibe was pleasant and the outdoor seating was comfortable.

I was worried about trying Stillhouse after reading some of the reviews. But given that we don't have many restaurants on the northeast side I had to give it a try. I was very pleased!! We visited on a Thursday night around 6:30pm. Service was great! Greeted when we walked in and able to sit immediately. Our server Sarah came over right away and took our drink order. Yes, they don't have their beer or cocktail menus ready but they did have a wine menu and Sarah had all the beers memorized. I had a glass of the Malbec ($6.00- great price & pour) and my husband had an IPA ($5.95). We had the fried pickles for an app and they were good. We decided to split a Cobb salad and a burger. Sarah had them split the salad and burger for us and the portions were large! The chicken on the Cobb salad was amazing and the salad was fresh and tasty. We loved the burger! The smash style with the crispy edges is wonderful! We had: 1 glass of wine, 2 beers, 1 app, 1 entree salad, and a burger with tarter tots. Our bill was under $50. That is lower then we pay at most bar & grills we visit. Our food arrive in a normal amount of time and we were checked on a few times. Given that they have only been open 1 month I think they are doing a great job. I am sure they will be up to 5 stars soon. We will defiantly be going back!

This is a new restaurant where there used to be an Irish pub restaurant. Let's start with the water, it is typical Tucson water, meaning it tastes bad. The service was very, very slow. We and several other people served ourselves at the bar. There were a number of mistakes, such as bringing both my wife and I the wrong brands of beer. There were no napkins or place settings. The food was mediocre at best. The menu is confusing, for example it sounded as if there would be cheese on the tater tots but there was not. It took over an hour and 10 minutes for what should've been a 30 minute restaurant visit.

$11 for a burger?? Are we still in Tucson? Ok ok, to be fair... It's two 1/8 lbs frozen patties... with no lettuce, tomato or onions but they do come with a "SH" branded into them and a side of ketchup and tots. Maybe drop the price to $6 and make it up on the beer and drinks... which are also higher than anyone in the area. Hurry in for the Friday 12.99 fish fry, they'll likely be out of business in six months.

This place is expensive with not that great food. The restaurant smells like fish. The waitresses are very slow and unfriendly. And the drinks are expensive. You can't smoke outside and there are no more bands. The Irish Pub was a lot better. This is missing the neighborhood bar feel. Emphasizing very slow.. Let's hope there outta business or change their ways by football season

Staff is friendly and on point. Decor is well done, and has a consistent theme. The place is spotlessly clean. Prices are reasonable, especially for what you get. I don't know what the low raters are on about, I suspect they are ex-employees that couldn't meet their high standards.

This place is amazing! Their service is INSANE! We have now been there 5 different times and every time the next server is even better than the last! Our son has celiac and the bartender went so far as to run to the store to get him a side item because she overheard him ordering and saw he was disappointed that they didn't have any sides to offer that were gluten free! They have always been willing to work with us and try to understand the gluten ordeal and are amazing and accommodating. The food is DELISH! I literally dream about their stuffed burger and tater tots!! The fries are unlike any fries I have ever seen (this is coming from a girl raised in Idaho... The potato state!)... you have to try them. Plus, the deep fried Oreos are enough to send you over the edge!!! This is always our first choice when eating out! My 8yr old says "Order the wings!!!"

Two hours and no food. No explanation. Not worth the time or effort to even walk in the door.

Very slowwww! Tater tots were frozen and misspelled on the menu. Burgers were frozen cheap patties. Portion sizes were not very uniform. I would not recommend the food.

This is totally a NOT, service was okay...food was just not good. Part of the way through my burger I realized that there was a very unpleasant odor coming from the burger...I think it was the "branding" of the bun...it smelled burnt and really affected the taste. I have had the same style of grilled/branded bun before and did not have the same nasty taste/smell combination.

I really don't understand the negative reviews. I frequent this place at least once every couple weeks and the service is always great, staff very friendly and responsive. The wings are outstanding as they are fresh, not frozen, large and meaty. Not your typical bar wings. The burgers are also great. Summary: very nice, good decor, friendly, family oriented, good food, great service. You won't be disappointed.

A friend told me this was a good little spot and he was right. Anyone who gives this less than 4 is nuts or got poor service. Quaint place, really good food (had pastrami and a cheese steak), sidewinder fries are delicious and something I never had (not just curly fries). As we were leaving a live band was setting up (not sure if the place is big enough for that but they probably know better). Fairly priced. The service was quick and kind, did a really nice job. Would be a great place for a drink too. I'll definitely be going back.

We went on opening night and not sure we'll go back which is very disappointing. There was no direction on how to get a table, the waitresses were running around like chickens with their heads cut off and no management to be seen. I finally stopped a waitress in her way mid run to the back and asked how to get a table. I was very rudely told I would just have to stand around and wait till one opened up. We ended up leaving and going to the Mexican restaurant across the way. Hopefully they get their act together, it would be a great neighborhood place for dinner or a drink

We were there on opening night. For a maiden voyage it was good. The food was fresh and tasty. No drink menu, but they say they are developing one. It is a promising place and the owners seem eager to be a local fixture and I think they will succeed.

We had lunch at Stillhouse yesterday. I will not go back again. Service was terrible. Our waitress was too busy having a good time talking to employees to give us much attention. The place was near empty and now we know why. The burgers were edible but expensive for burgers. My tater tots were still frozen. The onion rings were over fried. Everything was out of the freezer into the frying pan. Nothing was homemade there. Don't waste your time or money trying it out. I doubt if it will be there in six months. Sorry Stillhouse. However the decor is interesting.

We had been waiting to try this new restaurant on the east side ever since the Irish Pub closed its doors, so today we ate lunch at Stillhouse Bar and Grill. We all were disappointed with our orders. It's not that the food was terrible, it's that it was BORING. Bar food isn't normally difficult to prepare, however, I think they need an experienced chef who knows how to use spices and aesthetics in the kitchen. My friends shared a chicken club sandwich, which didn't resemble any club sandwich in our experience. and I had hot pastrami sandwich which looked good, but didn't have much flavor. We ordered fried zucchini and the nachos to munch on. The best dish was the zucchini - piping hot, crispy, and the ranch dressing tasted homemade. The nachos, on the other hand, were dry and bland. The tri-colored chips didn't help. There was diced chicken, lettuce and a sour cream drizzle across the top. No salsa, no seasoning in the chicken at all. We all had onion rings, which were in a tempura-type batter, but very overcooked, nearly burnt. I think they would have been delicious had they been pulled out of the fryer earlier. The outdoor patio is inviting, as is the inside. The servers were attentive and accurate, however the food just didn't make the grade. If this place can get a chef who knows good bar food (there's a place right down the street that does bar food extraordinaire!), we will be back. Otherwise, we cannot recommend it.

The still house was awful the food was terrible, the drinks were sub par, and there was no service. There was even a baby behind the bar.

We had high expectations for Stillhouse but were disappointed. The decor is great! They clearly spent a lot of time and effort to refresh the look (and smell) of the old Irish Pub. So happy they don't allow smoking on the patio! The menu looked and sounded great...not in reality. I had the "Smush" Burger which was a generous size burger (although lacking much flavor) with lots of cheese on a delicious bun. It was described as having sautéed mushrooms and I ordered grilled red onion for $1 extra. Well there were 2 mushrooms and 1 small red onion...really? My husband had the Turkey Melt...greasy. Tater tots & onion rings ok. Big mix up on the beer my husband ordered. Did not like it at all and when he inquired if they had any other pours that were not on the menu the server said no. Well they did have at least 3 others ...one of which would have been selected if he had known. They did give him a taste of 2 IPA's. In hind sight I guess he should have asked for tastes to begin with and walk up to the bar and look at the taps himself. We would have loved for Stillhouse to be a new favorite place here on the NE side as we are pretty limited. Hope they make improvements soon before the nuance of it being a new place wears off!

Glad I didn't read the negative reviews before we went because I had an open mind when we arrived. We sat at the bar and Deb helped us immediately giving us great ideas for drinks. It's a beautiful clean bar area with clean restrooms and the tap beer selection was great. I have to say that my first order was definitely a misstep as I ordered the clam chowder bread bowl. The clam chowder was not good. Over salted (and I love my salt!) with a huge pile of undercooked potatoes on top. But one word and off the bar and my bill the chowder went. Next I ordered the $9.99 Stillhouse Stuffed Burger with a side of tater tots. This burger was absolutely delicious. One of the best burgers I've every had. I loved the two thin, perfectly seasoned hamburger patties. The bun was fresh and the green chilies, caramelized onions along with the melted pepper jack cheese made this burger fantastic. Deb told us that lettuce and tomato were a no charge option for the burgers but because so many people just push it aside they wanted to avoid waste and started asking first. We did not want lettuce or tomatoes as the burger was perfect as it was. The tater tots were crispy and well seasoned and we can't wait to go back again and try other food items!.

I was very excited to try this new establishment. It looks like a great place to drink a beer and get some great burgers but I warn you STOP now. To start off there was no hostess or sign to describe where to sit. There was no beer menu. Our server did not even ask if we were going to eat dinner but we convinced her we needed menus. Once it arrives the menu is very misleading and the portions are very small. For example, the salad portions are the same size whether you order the half or full size. The tater tots were still frozen in the middle and the nachos are extremely sub par and served after our dinner. The burgers were maybe mediocre but they were just a frozen patty. Also, when we asked for ketchup (because there was none on the table) one very small serving of ketchup was brought for the entire table of six! Lastly the service was just so so slow. After speaking with the manager to try and upright this potentially good place all hope was lost because we heard a sob story about how there weren't enough cooks or freezer space for his frozen patties and tater tots. This may have been the worst dining experience I have ever had.

I was looking forward to this new restaurant that had taken the place of the Irish Pub. After waiting for them to open we finally made our way over to the Stillhouse only to be disappointed by almost every aspect. Upon entering there is no information or signage on how to get a table. We wandered inside to get a table for dinner only to be stared at like intruders as every table was full and not one staff member greeted or acknowledged us. We went back outside and found a small table in the corner and waited. It took several minutes for anyone to come to our table to take our drink order and we found that the table we chose was empty because the wind that evening was blowing the sun screen into our faces and there was nothing to tie it down with. My husband ordered the Four Peaks Kiltlifter on draft and I ordered a house margarita. Once we got our drinks he noticed his beer had been mixed with some sort of IPA and my margarita tasted more like lime water. Our waitress didn't come back to check on us until after our food had finally been delivered after waiting for quite a while and when I asked for a new margarita because it was so watery I was brought an equally watery margarita. The menu is very limited and the food is just so-so. Everything seems to have their "moonshine" sauce on it and the Friday Fish Fry was overpriced for the small portions I received. I would have much rather spent the money elsewhere and doubt we'll be back.
