My daughter and I stopped here for lunch as we've been looking for a good Asian restaurant on east side of Tucson. This is the best and the cleanest! It's not fancy (used to be Yokohamas) but it's clean, friendly, reasonable and good food. We had the pad Thai and the lemongrass combo with shrimp, beef and chicken. Really, really good! The hostess, maybe owner?, recommended our meals and they were super. She also brought us a complimentary vegetable soup. Very fresh and good appetizer. They also bring out wontons with a sauce which is different and fun but can't ooh and ahh over it. First time I've had egg rolls that weren't greasy! Not exceptionally flavorful, but a good compliment to the meal. We had our fill and had enough for another lunch the next day, although the husband snagged my leftovers which he enjoyed. I would definitely try the lemongrass as that seems to be the one reviewers rave over. The hostess said about 50% of their sales is pad Thai. It's good. We'll be returning often. Go try this restaurant so we don't lose this little gem!

I went for lunch. There were about 20 diners inside. Fully half of the lunch crowd was Asian. I had spicy chicken with snow peas for $4.99. It was tasty and filling. Next time, I will try the Vietnamese pho. I saw a bowl served to the next table, and it looked appetizing. This is a nice and clean little place with fast, friendly service and excellent food.

The main dish I ordered was not very good. The "adobo chicken" was chicken with fat on and a bland gravy. I did try the hot and sour soup and loved that. The won tons were great, and my friends who ordered more typical Chinese dishes said their food was good too. I need to order something else! The staff were super nice, and the food was inexpensive at Snow Peas.

Love, love, LOVE this restaurant! My fave is the grilled Vietnamese Pork- it is fabulous! My family members have also had (and loved) the honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice. The food comes out fast and is perfect every time I go back!

The place was very clean and quiet. The Szechwan Beef was so Tough, fatty and full of gristle I didn't now even finish it. The sauce was way to sweet. Vegetables were OK. This meal was possibly one of the worst Asian dishes I have ever had. Sorry won't get a second chance.

My sister-in-law had been telling me to give them a try for quite a while now. So the familia and I finally made it down on a Friday when they have their "Luau Friday's". On certain Friday's they offer their regular menu along with a luau menu which has Hawaiian BBQ from Solid Grindz food truck. My family members own and operate the food truck, so I already knew their food was great but we had never tried Snow Peas. We ordered the teriyaki chicken plate which comes with white, brown, or fried rice and a scoop of mac salad. We also had the solid bang shrimp( same sides) and shrimp pad thai. Everything was fresh and hot when it arrived at our table. Everything was awesome. I had never had pad thai, and it was love at first bite. The Hawaiian dishes even came with a scoop of coconut pineapple ice cream for dessert. These business owners take a lot of pride in their food and you can taste the love in each bite.

I was there last week. It ha been awhile since I was there and the food and service are still fantastic. I ordered the Chicken Chow Fun and it was so good. The owner came out to talk with the people and remembered I hadn't been in for awhile. What more can I say. They aren't the cheapest, however, the food is fresh and the people are friendly. Give them a try. Also, when you check in on Yelp, you should get a 10% off coupon.

Really a 2-star place but give it a 3-star because of the Pad Thai. Stopped in for a little late dinner the other night. The one thing I really liked was that the food was hot and came out fast. Wifey was looking for a little Pad Thai and she wasn't disappointed. The Pad Thai is world class. I guess if a place can make one thing really well that's a good thing. I foresee many stops to pick up some Pad Thai on the way home in my future. Friendly, nice and helpful server. Unfortunately, that's about all she wrote. We had some of the hot and sour soup and that was probably the worst ever I've had in Tucson. So bad, I couldn't finish the tiny bowl. Up until that moment I don't think I'd ever walked away from hot and sour but this was special. The other selections we ordered (vege curry and kung pao) were not so good either but I ate them because I was really hungry. I'll probably try other things as long as I'm picking some Pad Thai. Who knows, maybe there is at least one more gem on the menu.

Now I'm hooked on his Vegetarian Curry dish, coming in at 260 calories that score a 9.5 out of 10 for nutrition on my Jawbone Up3! His curry is so good I think you could put it on bark and it'd be good!

Finally, good pad thai in Tucson! Great service, great prices (try the 2 for $20 meal that includes a yummy mango cheesecake for dessert).

I wanted to like this place more because they have a lot of vegan options which is awesome. I think it's a case of ordering the wrong thing. I had the lemongrass noodles. It was on their vegan menu but when they brought out the dish they told me the sauce that came with it wasn't vegan. They offered peanut sauce instead but the sauce they brought me wasn't peanut sauce by any stretch of the imagination. So the dish was sauce-less plus it had zero lemongrasss flavor. I also got the salt and pepper tofu which was pretty good. I did have a headache after dinner so I'm sure they use msg which, whatever you kind of expect that at places like this. I think the crux of the problem is that they are trying to do a little of everything. Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc... I'll go back if I'm in the area and order something else. Props for having a vegan menu.

What is there to not like about this place?! Nothing!!! From food to service to everything in between, this place is amazing. Best pad Thai in tucson, bar none!!! Sriracha honey wings??? Yes PLEASE!!! With those two menu items you just can't lose.

Curry, Adobo, Pho, Pad Thai... Pretty much covers all your Asian food needs. Very easily located on Craycroft, it's a snow pea green color (any guesses why?). Almost all of the menu is under $10 and then on top of that they have military discount and/or a discount for checking in. Their check times are super fast. 3 of us ordered our food and not even 10 minutes it came out and was nicely placed in front of us. It's also nice because it's not really a sit down restaurant but it is restaurant quality. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dish. For parents, they also have a small play area inside, which is nice, but it desperately needs to be wiped down. I probably need to go there and try it one more time before I can seal the deal and give it a solid 5 review.

Wow, this place has greatly improved since my last review. Are you looking for a place that has yummy Pad Thai? You found it right here! I tried it a month ago and I'm hooked! It has the right amount of seasoning and the noodles are never soggy. It's $8.99 so it's very decently priced. They offer military or Facebook check-in discounts as well. It's also neat that they added a play area for kids to play in. No more squirmy kids in their seats! Check them out :)

I've finally made it here twice after seeing some mouth watering pics and hearing they won best wings at the wings and waffles showdown. However, each time I've come, I have attempted to order the wings and each time language gets in the way and my wings never come! I'm so bummed about this. One day I will get to try the bittersweet and tamarind bbq wings- at least I hope! I made the mistake of asking if I should try the bittersweet or the tamarind wings. At 4.99 for six wings, I should have just ordered both. The lady taking my order said, "oh, you like Vietnamese bbq"? I replied, yes, thinking she meant she likes the tamarind bbq. So, on top of the mango chicken I ordered, I also got an order of Vietnamese grilled pork to my surprise. Sigh. You place your order at the front and pay, then they will bring your food out to you. They have a Facebook check in offer and a Yelp check in offer. Currently Yelp is offering a free chef's special entrée with purchase. They are also running a special on certain entrees b1g1 which are listed on a separate menu. You can order the full size or pea size combos. The pea size is on a separate menu. Then they have a vegetarian menu. Then they have an electronic menu like at Pei Wei. Then they have another area with pictures. So, what I am getting at in a long winded way is the menu is a bit confusing as they have a lot of different signs to look at. I'm not sure what they specialize in as they have Filipino, Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese food. Your food comes with some complimentary fried wonton skins and plum dipping sauce. Nice touch. I have had the Vietnamese grilled pork twice. I love the fish sauce that comes with it. The first time the yolk was cooked through on the egg, which was a bummer. You want it nice and runny. The hot and sour soup was nice. The Vietnamese rolls were great- super fresh tasting. The kung pao chicken was cut small and barely battered- pure perfection. I was expecting it to be battered, but it was just they way I like Chinese chicken and I will be coming back for more. The mango chicken is not battered but uses lean white meat chicken, tons of fresh mango, green bell pepper and cilantro. The sauce was nice with a slight kick. Next time I am only ordering wings and asking no questions in hopes I finally get to try them. Please cross your fingers for me.

This place wa fine, but I was asked maybe 5 times what I had ordered because they weren't writing anything down as far as I saw. Took maybe 20 minutes to get my food as well. As for the food itself, it was okay. Nothing special about it.

If you're on the east side and looking for an inexpensive and delicious Asian food joint, this is a great place to check out! It's located where Yokohama Rice Bowl used to be on the West side of South Craycroft between 29th and 22nd. The staff was pretty friendly and our food was pretty delicious and the portions were filling! I had Singapore noodles and my girlfriend enjoyed the Vietnamese fried rice. If you like spicy food, the Singapore noodles are a good dish to try and the Vietnamese fried rice was a pretty cool twist on the usual fried rice dish. We really liked this place and love Asian food, so there is a very good chance we will be back to try more dishes in the future! One other thing to note here was that their credit card machine was down when we arrived, so we went to get cash. Upon our return, we were given free egg rolls with our meals for our effort. Major cool points for that!

I've come here a few times before now, and while it's not particularly visually impressive, the fusion asian food here is pretty tasty. You order at the counter, which is about as fancy looking as something you would expect at a mall food court, so not exactly a romantic date night type of place. But! the food here I think is one of the better asian options in this town. I absolutely love the Lemongrass Noodle Saute here and it's a must-try here. Comes with dry vermicelli noodles, topped with just the right assortment of herbs, peanutus, and a light sauce you can pour over. YUM The Singapore Noodles here are a an ultimate flavor bomb and come with a delicious medly of meats and seafood. It's a more flavorful, but heavier option than the Lemongrass Noodle Saute Their Chicken Wings are tasty and kept the fiancee happy. The Fried Rice here is pretty good as well. The Pad Thai is a-o-k (let me know if you find any good Pad Thai in tucson! I have yet to). Overall great asian fusion spot in Tucson!

I always pass by this place everytime and I never really think much of it. I then decided to finally go and try their fare since hubby said their Pad Thai is by far the best he had in town, so I assumed the rest of their menu are delish! Went in, grabbed their menu and decided on what to get. We waited a good 30 mins to get our (to go) order in mainly because of the two old lady that couldn't quite know what they wanted and kept bickering at each other and the person behind the register. I ordered orange chicken, mongolian beef and crab wontons to go. I ordered their regular size (biggest container they have) since i'll be feeding my family. It was quick and the server is very cordial and full of patience. However, I was dismayed when i got home and opened my containers to see that it was only 1/4 full. I was kind of expecting a full container of food since I only ordered the entrees. The orange chicken was a big let down, the taste is bland, dry and it contains more snow peas than the actual orange chicken. The mongolian beef is not the usual ones I have tasted in other restaurants. Sauce is plentiful and the taste is bearable. The only good thing I had is my crab wontons, you can't mess that up anyway. With this I was very disappointed with the quality and quantity of food. I came from a small southern town and i can say that the chinese food quality/quantity they have there is by far better than this one ( or the ones that i had in town so far). Their to go containers is brimming with food that you can have leftovers for the next day. The only reason that I have to come here again is when hubby's craving for pad thai, but other than that I don't know if i'll get other food off their menu.

Hey I am not into it at all. Waiter was nice and patient. But I had to wait for 30 mins to get my rice noodles. Ummm This was a Asian fusion restaurant, they provide Chinese, Philippine, Singapore, Malay style. My noodle was salty.

This place was so good! My husband & I were pretty skeptical when we pulled in the parking lot & there weren't many people there.. but we used to eat at a lot of "hole in the wall" restaurants back home, so we figured this place was kinda like that. My husband is Filipino & he LOVED the adobo! I ordered chicken pad thai. Best pad thai ive had in a very long time. We finally found a good Asian restaurant near our house. We will definitely be ordering take out from this place a lot.

This place is good. This place is real good. From the outside you're thinking Asian fast food. And don't get me wrong, the food came out fast. But what I wasn't expecting was the flavors and presentation! From my perfectly filled and seasoned egg rolls to the Grilled Pork Noodles that I could not eat fast enough, this place delivers on all fronts! Fast courteous service, delicious colorful dishes and throw in reasonably priced, I cannot recommend this place any higher.

Good Asian food close to base! My co-workers and I enjoy this frequently as a lunch option! Everything I've had has been good from the street noodles, to the wings (they are messy though) and the curry vegetables!

This restaurant will probably confuse you because it is built into what was clearly once a fast food restaurant with a drive thru. I have been to more strip mall Asian places that I can count - this was my first time seeing this! I ordered chicken chow fun for takeout when I was staying in the area for work. I couldn't find a menu online so I walked in an ordered from the counter. I had my food in about 5 minutes and on my way. The food was exactly what I'd hoped for - fresh, hot, and with some delicious hand made rice noodles. If I find myself in town again, I'll definitely stop by.

Came here a couple weeks ago for some Chinese food. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which I thought was quite delicious. I got fried rice on the side which was also good. This place must've been an old fast food joint that they tried to convert into a restaurant. Decor inside is nothing impressive and when I was there for lunch it was extremely hot inside. I would recommend dining in. They give you these little fried wonton/chip things that are pretty tasty. I will definitely be coming back whenever I'm craving some tasty sweet and sour chicken. Oh & you also get a discount if you check in on Facebook 15% off!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I've had a lot of the dishes at this place and I've never been disappointed! I've been eating here for well over a year(and at the very least monthly or more) and I've never had anything be mediocre let alone bland! One of the first times I ate there I told the chef Erik that I love spicy food and he brought out this crazy spicy paste from a country I've now forgotten but it was awesome! I'm sorry Erik! Unfortunately I tried chicken Pad Thai somewhere else (big mistake) I won't blast out the other place but there chicken pad Thai isn't even on the same planet as Snow Peas! Erik keep doing what you're doing brother! I'll be seeing you real soon as usual!

This place is very friendly, but that's about the only thing I liked about it. I kind of hate to say how the food was because they were so nice. But I don't know where the modern is in this Asian cooking. It was a bland. For so many reviews, nearing four stars on yelp, I was disappointed!

This place is so good. Best fried rice I have ever had. Great service and amazing food. It is my new Asian food spot. The menu has lots of choices from pho to pad Thai. I highly recommend! My oldest Daughter is a pho lover, and has eaten at ever place in town. This place is by far her favorite.

This place is delicious and has very reasonable prices! I ordered and loved the mango chicken (7.99)! My favorite part of Asian fusion is the combination of sweet and savory. My boyfriend ordered a spicy Kung Pao (6.99) and he said it was great. We also ordered the cucumber salad - fresh and savory, beef rib apps and drinks. Our total price was $30 for two people! We had a great time on a limited budget!

It used to be so good! Now, not so much. Over the past few months the quality and portion sizes have taken a huge turn for the worse. Tonight reached the point of never again. After waiting half an hour for my take out order I get home to find that the cartons aren't even half full! I tried to call to express my frustration and disappointment and was hung up on! My family is sad because we really enjoyed this place but after tonight we just won't be going back. What a shame. We used to recommend this place to everyone.

When I first stepped into the door I thought, oh no, it's a trap!!! What may first appear to be a fast food Asian restaurant is much more. You order at the counter and go sit down. The food is brought to you quickly, while you wait they give you a few chips with duck sauce (You will need to excuse my ignorance on the task style of chips and sauce, but they are good). My wife ordered the pad tai, I got the king pow chicken. The food is much better than a panda express would give you. My wife did not like the pad tai though because it was heavily soy sauce dependent, which is not what you are expecting with pad tai. My kung pow chicken was good, no complaints. The food is not high quality but definitely good enough to go back for lunch in the future. For the prices and category this restaurant fits in, a 3.5-4 star rating is appropriate.

Their 2 for $20 lunch meal is awesome. The Pad Thai is one of the best I've had outside of Thailand.

The cashier was super nice!!! Good food and pretty cheap. I like the fact that they had a place in the restaurant to keep the kids busy. The had a whole section of baby toys so my little son wouldnt get bored plus he gave me two free drinks because we found them on yelp lol

Ordered the pad thai, but sorry to say it tasted a little bland. Did not have the full tamarind paste and fish sauce contrast more typical of pad thai I eat in L.A. Also tried mongolian beef, which was just ok. Menu a little confusing...it indicates different portions like combo, pea size, and regular without any explanation, nor did the server explain or tell me of these options. Like many Asian restaurants in Tucson, I found it to be just so-so.

Had lunch there yesterday. I really wanted honey chicken, but she said it wasn't ready. So, I ordered orange chicken. It was good; very colorful. The prices are completely reasonable and the food is really fresh. Had to have the mango-coconut sticky rice to finish...I LOVE, Love, love these!! If you haven't tried them...you should!

This place is ridiculous. IN A GOOD WAY. I'd say 4.5 outta 5. Food: The menu has quite a variety (even vegetarian and vegan options) The food is delicious (I had the vegetarian snow pea family and the tofu something or other) I'm not a connoisseur by any means, but I've eaten at many hole in the wall Asian food places. I was a delivery driver for a delicious family run place in years past, and the food here is very good especially considering the price. Which brings me to my next point: You can get maaaad full off of $10. They currently have a buy one get one free special. I had two entrees, and two orders of crab puffs for $10.73 or something (pictured.) Atmosphere: it's got big LCD menus, a clean, wide open house, even a play area packed with toys for kids. Service: I only interacted with one person at the front and she was very friendly and informative when it came to the vegetarian options Cons: I JUST WISH THEY HAD HOMEMADE HOT MUSTARD

My first time to Snow Peas, but probably not my last. The first thing I noticed was that it smelled a little like burnt deep fryer -- like they need to change their oil. They had a big menu with a lot of diverse and delicious-sounding choices at what I thought were good prices. And then I learned the dishes come with soup! Total bonus. Now they're great prices. I ordered pad thai with hot and sour soup; my friend ordered mango chicken with egg flower soup. We were also provided fried wontons with sweet and sour sauce. The fried wontons were mostly stale and soggy, and I didn't care for the very runny, oddly-flavored sweet and sour. I notice the other reviews compliment the fresh scallions in the soups. We both disagreed and thought these overpowered the weak soups and ruined the flavor. The hot and sour soup in particular was low on flavor of its own and destroyed by the uncooked onions. My pad thai was not the kind you would get in a Thai restaurant, but was still tasty. This variety is loaded with onions (cooked), tasty shrimp, and pork (a little overcooked). It wasn't spicy, but they did provide a bottle of what appeared to be Sriracha. Over all, I'd be willing to go back and try something else off of their extensive asian menu, and to see if their deep fryer gets changed periodically. But I will probably ask them to leave the fresh onions off the soup.

Relaxed and family friendly. Great food, friendly staff, the owner will take time to help you pick the perfect dish if you can not decided. I love beef and pork, my wife loves sea food, there is something for everyone.

I passed by the place, saw reviews and stopped. The place was empty (2:30) so the service was superfast. To be a "fast food" asian, I had GREAT pad thai, which the guy at the counter recommended. I left happy.

Sometimes Snow Peas is at the new farmer's market at the race track on Sundays (though they weren't there last Sunday) much to the relief of my starving bf. The spring roll with drink special was a god-send on a hot day! Worth the wait in line! Never been to the restaurant. Yet.

The food is great and super affordable, not to mention how fast you get your food. If you're looking for a traditional Chinese type of cuisine, this is not that type of place. Their rib eye cube and wings alone makes me a happy person.

Snow Peas is one of the vegetables that I never refuse to eat when I was kid, Stir-fry with some sliced beef that doesn't required too much sauce that give you the nice fresh little undertone type of the sweetness that makes me go....yum. Snow Peas Kitchen offer simple, solid food that just enough for me go ...yum as well. For the very first visit before I sat down I was concerned... " This is better not like the HotWok down the street..." sure it doesn't! As matter of fact its even better than some of the Asian food restaurants in the area., reasonable priced and the 10min drive from the house. for a night that my friends not feeding me, Snow Peas have my back!! For those who still doesn't have the yelp app on your phone. You are missing the 10% off or the free pop...just saying...:)

I ordered the Kung Pao chicken it was in edible . Salty!!! The lady at the counter was nice enough. The food was just too salty. When I complained about my order all I got was "I'm sorry". No replacing my dish no offer of any kind of comp. The only item that tasted good was the mango cheesecake that came as dessert. Never again. Diners beware.

Visited for the first time yesterday and the food was yummy! Lemon Grass Noodle bowl with chicken was spicy but all of the other fresh flavors still sang. Noodles were perfect, veggies fresh, & the sauce that you could pour over top was delicious. My honey had a chicken mango dish that was loaded with fresh mango & right up his alley! I thought it was really nice when the man (chef or proprietor?) came out and asked how everything was. Unusually nice service for this casual appearing lunch spot! PS - the prices were very reasonable too!

Yay! I am loving having another Asian food joint to hit up that is close to base. I got the lemongrass noodle saute with pork. The service was super attentive and it was obviously a family run business. I really hope this business does well! The food comes out quick, it is inexpensive, and the portions are quite large! I shared mine with my hubby. They give 10% off for military and today they hooked me up with a drink and spring roll for the free. This is a wonderful establishment that provides personable service and quick food that is pretty tasty. I can't wait to come back and try everything else!

Love their food especially the Pad Thai! I go here a lot and they're always consistent with their food! I can't bring my self to go to Panda Express ever again after eating here! Snow Pea's is my #1 place to eat not to mention you get a lot of food for what you pay!

A hidden gem! My regular Asian food place recently changed ownership and the quality decreased significantly. I'm so glad I took a chance here. The food is amazing, some of the best fried rice I've ever had. The service is very fast, the staff is very friendly and personable, and the menu is extensive. I highly recommend anyone searching for good Asian to give Snow Peas a try.

We went to eat at Snow Peas yesterday for lunch. There were two of us moms, each had our respective 3 year old boys, her 5 month old girl and my 1 year old girl. The boys immediately went to the play corner while we ordered meals. We were blown away by the (CHEAP!) prices and the menu options. After we ordered and settled at our table, we were brought some crispy wontons and sweet and sour sauce that tied the kids over until the food arrived. We got pea sized portions for our meals, and vegetable lo mein for the boys. My beef and broccoli was delicious. Just enough sauce, but not drowning, rice was great and the broccoli was cooked but still crisp. My son's lo mein was great. He ate (almost!) all of it before he returned to the play corner. Definitely a restaurant we will return to because of its great prices and kid friendly environment!

The place is clean, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is wonderful and the huge portions of food are mighty tasty. Looks like it might have been a Yokohama at one point, but it is nice and bright and clean, not like some dark and dingy Chinese restaurants I've been to. What more can you want? We ordered the 2 for 20 with the combo lo mein and Mongolian beef, the egg drop soup, mango cheese cake, spring rolls and crab wontons. The only thing I didn't care for was the crab wontons but that's only because they were a bit on the spicy side for me but everyone else liked them. Our waitress went a above and beyond...very attentive and friendly to us and our two year old who even gave her a hug before we left. We will for sure be back whenever we are on this side of town. Try it out, cant go wrong especially with the 2 for 20 deal and 10% off yelp coupon!

The place seem a lot like a fast food restaurant. You go up and order then pay. The guy at the register brings the food to your table when ready. I had the pad tai, and it was tasty. The place looks clean. A good place to get a quick bite.

We had this place one night on a whim. The amount of food was not lacking (thus the 2 stars). The problem was the taste was FAR from modern or asian. It is safe to say we will not be going back anytime soon.

I've eaten here several times since moving to Tucson 2 yrs ago. I keep meaning to review it and keep forgetting so now's the time. This place is great! The staff is friendly and welcoming. I've never had a bad dish here. The things I've tried have ranged from good to, OMG wonderful! My favorites so far are the Mongolian Beef, Vietnamese Pork, and Orange Chicken. The fried rice is pretty darn good too. I don't really have any significant complaints about this place. However, in the spirit of trying to write an objective review, I'll mention a couple things. First, as I've seen in another review, there are like 5 different menu's to order from when you step inside. Personally, I think it's a bit confusing. Also, while the staff have always been very helpful and friendly, there is sometimes an issue with language. I've never had my order messed up, but I think it's worth saying that you should just make the extra effort to make sure they have your order right. It's not a big deal as long as you're aware of it. I mean, it's not like this is the only ethnic restaurant where the staff don't speak the best English, lol. Anyway, the bottom line for me is that I highly recommend Snow Peas. Great food, good portions, good prices, friendly staff.

It used to be so good until recently especially during evenings. The food was not as perfect as they used to be. Maybe the owner wasn't working in the kitchen? Rather than hoping it'd be perfect than not, I rather not to order anything. Maybe I'll give it a try again one day and give a better review. Nice owner and family but the food needed consistency.

Fantastic food. Had the Ma Po Tofu, the food came out super fast and the service was fantastic. Vegetarian egg rolls were delicious, if I lived here I'd be a regular.

After being disappointed by so many Asian restaurants, I came here with mixed hopes. They totally blew the expectations out of the water. Crab puffs - hot, creamy, and not drenched in grease. Egg rolls - tasted fresh, and again, not drenched in grease. Pork Fried Rice - do you guys even use oil? Totally not complaining, but complementing, probably the best fried rice I've had in years. Orange chicken - plenty of sauce, brown rice was perfect! The sauce was slightly sweet, slightly orangey and perfect. Not like the big chain restaurants. Chicken was ever so lightly coated with flour. Kung Pao Chicken - same situation. Just the right amount of heat, chicken was again lightly coated, and was perfect. At the end of the meal, they offered buy one get one on our next visit. Looks like I found my new go to Asian restaurant!

I live really close to this place and the bright green building has caught my attention every time I pass by! We finally decided to try it today and I am SO GLAD! The food was really great and the young guy behind the counter was really nice, always a plus for me. We were told there is no good asian food in Tucson (we just moved from Cali) and that's a lie! This place was great and I am so excited to try the rest of the menu! Also, I have a toddler and the little play corner is a fantastic idea. Even though I got my food to go, she was totally entertained while we waited and that is HUGE for parents!

Food does not taste fresh at all. PLUS ... the Honey Chicken is served in some watery sauce that is vaguely sweet. Honey chicken should be crispy and sticky with ... uh, a honey glaze? The sweet and sour chicken is just a bunch of fried, battered chicken with an orange-colored sauce that tastes highly of ginger. Or maybe this is the other way around? Who knows, since neither carton was labeled. There was not extra dipping sauce for the eggrolls, which were decent in flavor but super-small. For the price they charged ($16 for two small-sized entrees, rice, and two eggrolls... oh and only one fortune cookie!) I would have expected way more food and of much better quality. I was nervous about trying this place (looks kind of sketchy from the outside) so I read reviews, and all of them were positive, so I gave it a try. Now I wonder what the heck?! Either I have different taste than many other people, or I happened to hit them on an off day. There is never any cars in the parking lot when I pass by on my way to work, and I have wondered if maybe it's a money laundering "front" type place for organized crime. But with so many people liking it in reviews, I guess it does get business. I just don't get it. Sadly the food was so terrible that I am afraid to give it another try. So I guess it shall remain a mystery to me ...

It all starts with the owner - Eric was friendly and helpful as we could not make up our mind with all the great selections on the menu. Eric said that 10% of his sales were the Pad Thai... So yes... I will take that please. We also ordered the lemon grass noodles, fryyyyy ryyye, salmon, and more. We got 15% off our bill for liking their FB page. We had plenty of food for a hungry family of 5. Honestly I don't know how they make money. The portions are huge and the food is priced great. I tried to convince Eric to open one in Phoenix. I really liked that they had a kiddie corner for the small ones to kill time. It's the little things for me. I'm full.

I have driven by this restaurant many times. but never gave it a second glance. The previous establishment which served "asian" food was not something I would eat even if starving. I was afraid that the "new" establishment wouldn't be really new. But with the reviews hear on Yelp, I was prompted into trying it out. This is not an upscale dining establishment. It is good food for a good price. It would fall into the fast food type place (i.e. order at the counter, not fancy decor). Once you order and pay, the order is prepared and delivered to your table. Being a new customer, it took a while for me to decide on what to order. There are lots of the asian dishes you would expect (e.g. orange chicken, beef and broccoli, etc.). The lady taking orders was very friendly and helpful. She is definitely an asset. I finally decided on Pad Thai (their house version that had shrimp) and crab puffs. The Pad Thai was a bit spicy, though not too spicy, compared to what I am used too. It was served with a lime, (some places in town use lemon which isn't traditional nor as tasty). The noodles were cooked just right not too overdone to be slimy but done enough to be tender. The vegetables were cooked but not over cooked to be limp. I enjoyed it very much. Probably the 2nd best I have ever had. The crab puffs were great! The cream cheese was generous and flavored well. I will be back.

Looking at the $4.99 menu at the counter, the Snow Peas Feast caught my eye so I asked what that was... vegetables stir fried with tofu. Being a dieheard the-other-three-food-groups-are-for-sissies carnivore my first reaction was, "Ewww, Tofu". After my meal, I may try tofu next time. More on this later... I order, as does my buddy, from the $4.99 menu. For $2 more you can make it a combo with soup or egg roll and a drink, which we both do. He got the egg drop soup and I got the hot and sour soup. The first thing we notice is that the soup seems very fresh. The fresh scallions in it give some crunch. Both soups were good. We were also brought some fried wontons and sweet and sour dipping sauce. The food comes and my first thought was that it didn't look like the Kung Pao chicken I ordered. The crispy cubes of chicken were accompanied by a few vegetables, sauce and, oh wait, there's the peanuts and chilis. Yes, it's Kung Pao... it just didn't look like the usual preparation. A mound of brown rice rounded out the plate. I added soy sauce to the rice and, when mixed with the Kung Pao, it made it a little too salty, but that was my own fault. The flavor of the dish was otherwise really good. The way the chicken was prepared (breaded and crunchy) led me to believe that tofu may receive the same treatment and may actually be palatable. This combined with the freshness of the food warrants a return visit... possibly for the great tofu experiment. Stay tuned...

Great place...can not believe I did not discover till my last day. RUN to this restaurant...well worth it.. Told others about it and they ate they and raved about it as well. Clean, non heavy fresh foods...I could go on and on and the Hot and Sour Soup was the best I have had...Delicious..

I found this place on yelp several months ago and have become a regular. The food is fantastic. Give the Lo-Mein with chicken a try, Pad Thai is killer too. Lots of vegetarian choices. Super nice service, the owner even came by to check on us. The menu is huge but they are quick to make suggestions. Be adventurous when you order, they have some really delicious dishes.

Really good. I had the $4.99 Mongolian beef, and the Pho. Contrary to what others have said here I don't agree it's as good as Miss Saigon, but it was really tasty. The beef was fabulous. I work close so I'll be going back for sure to try other dishes. I'm really interested in the Ginger shrimp. Ok i tried the Ginger shrimp with the hot & sour soup. Both were bland. I'm not giving up though. Next week i want to try the orange chicken and walnut shrimp. A suggestion for the restaurant. You should deliver. I had 12 people at work on Friday who wanted to order. we all picked out what we wanted, None of us could pick it up though. If you just did lunch delivery, it would be very good for you. We have 100 pepper in our office and management is always doing lunch incentives with a budget of $5. I'm really tired of Taco Giri, but that's what we got because they deliver.

The owner here is so friendly. He goes out of his way to make suggestion. Takes the time to explain the dishes. Talks about their prior experience in the food business before opening their own place. They offer very competitive pricing with good sized portions. The food is pretty good. You'd have to pay much more at a fancier Asian restaurant if you only demand the best.

Went here based on Yelp reviews, was not disappointed! I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. Couldn't beat the price! Food came out fast and was hot and delicious. All of the ingredients were fresh, everything on my plate was bright and colorful. Just enough food to fill you up without feeling gutted. I took a piece of mango cheesecake home with me, can't wait to try it later!

Love this place when I'm craving some good chow mien, orange chicken, egg drop soup, and tofu with broccoli. They have a lot of vegetarian options too. It's a comfortable environment and they even have a little kids play area geared toward toddlers, I could have totally used that a while back as my kids are older now. Friendly service and you usually get free soup with your entree. Food is very tasty without being too greasy. I look forward to going back and trying more of their huge selection.

This place is awesome! Great service, plenty of variety (but not too big). What a deal for "made-to-order" asian food. I like every meal I've had from there, I've been about 8 times now. King pao chicken and pad thai are great!

Pros: -Really good prices -An unexpected appetizer was brought to the table (chips and dip) -Large portions -Tasty food, and the chicken tasted like white meat chicken! -Very friendly service (Almost) Cons: -Fast food environment, BUT CLEAN -long wait for food, BUT WORTH IT

Pick-up. Ordered the Vietnamese Grilled Pork and the Mongolian Beef, both with a side of brown rice. All entrees no matter the time of day come with a choice of egg roll or soup. Great portions for the price and very delicious. Food tasted freshly made, unlike some place that seemingly pre-make mass portions and have them sitting on hot plates all day long. The egg roll was nice and crispy, not soggy and oily. The soup was nice and balanced. Mistakenly ordered egg drop, not a favorite but liked it a lot and would order it again. The establishment looked very clean, well lit and a nice casual dining atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and accommodating; special thanks to Angie. This was my first time at Snow Peas and not only will I be a repeat customer, I will be recommending this place to my friends. Highly Recommended. You can view their menu on their Facebook page in the photo section. facebook.com/SnowPeasAZ

Disappointing foods, how can anyone messed up chicken fried rice. It was bland & dry as a desert. The only tasty bits were the carrots & bean sprouts. Egg drop soup tasted like salted hot water with a few egg pieces & a green pea for garnishing. The Vietnamese pork noodles tasted like it has been in a refrigerator for a week. The meat was rancid & the rice noodles looked like wet dental floss. The pad Thai noodles did not get as far as Thailand. Where is the Thai taste? What is that blacken unidentified meat, bacon?

Went for lunch with my mom and two kids (3 yrs and 7mo.). We ordered beef with broccoli and chicken lo mein. The meat in both dishes was high quality and nothing was soggy or greasy. The beef had fresh ginger and was a good flavor, the broccoli was not over or under cooked. The edamame wasn't wonderful, may have just been luck of the farm rather than a cooking issue? The service was friendly and my son loved the play corner. The decor leaves a lot to be desired, and white tile is just an unfortunate choice for any floor. The fortune cookies were a gross tasting brand, but fortune cookies would be a lame reason to go to a restaurant. Probably the best Chinese food I've had in town though.

I got the grilled pork rice dish. Slightly above average. Decent for lunch. This place is assorted Asian cuisine, middle of the road fare. The hour and sour soul want ok, I've had better. Service w very kind. I'll have no issues coming back to try other dishes

Inexpensive and Freaking Delicious!! Was craving some good ol Asian carry out and remembered all the rave reviews on here about this place. 15 minutes and $45 later we dined upon orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, wontons, egg rolls, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and veggie fried rice. The flavors are tremendous, the ingredients fresh, the food tasty, and the prices insanely reasonable. The four of us ate well and still had plenty rice left for a lunch the next day. Everything was well prepared and all the items were stellar. Only thing I didn't really rave about were the wontons the filling was tasty but the wonton skin was bland and kind of uninteresting. If you are on this side of town and want some good quick asian food come on down its amazing.

Was gonna give it 3 stars but saw that Yelp equates that to "A-OK". 2 stars is more like my experiences "Meh. I've experienced better.". Tucson doesn't have any good Chinese food to my knowledge. My wife is Chinese and I've been eating Chinese food for over 30 years. There is just nothing that distinguishes the food here. The dishes I tried on my 2 visits were just bland. That is on top of being barely warm temperature wise. Both times I came here the Hot and Sour Soup was the same - barely even warm. I like to feel that my food was actually cooked and just came off the stove when I eat. I don't feel that way here. After eating here the second time and not liking it at all I promised myself I'd never go again. The spicy dishes aren't spicy. I feel like they're scared they might offend someone by taking things to the edge so they aim for middle of the road in every way. In my opinion, they even miss that mark. The chef/owner is very nice. I'd like to see him succeed but things need to change. I can't recommend this place to anyone.

The food and service was great. Large portions. We split the Pad Thai which had beef, chicken and shrimp in it. Great flavor! Also the side of ademame was very big. The server checked on us several times. The atmosphere is nothing special, but the place is clean and welcoming.

We were visiting Tucson, Arizona and hubby was in the mood for pad thai. I googled Asian Restaurants and this was one suggestion. Since it had high reviews, we decided to check it out. Hubby ordered pad thai and I ordered chow fun noodles with a side of spring rolls. This restaurant is a melting pot of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai cuisine. It also offer vegetarian options. We ordered our food to go and the woman who took our order offered me a cup of water while we were waiting. I thought it was very nice of her. I would recommend this place!

  • Hyemin S.

I liked this place! We got the 2 for 20$ menu and ordered egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, pad thai, ginger shrimp and mango cheesecake. The soups were not toooo bad, but the pad thai was delicious. Ginger shrimp was also fine, but I would say the pat thai was more flavorful. Mango cheesecake was rich and tasty. I could taste the freshness of all the ingredients including seafood. Very fast, attentive and friendly service and there is a small play area for kids. I can't wait to try other dishes:)

So I went there twice more during my visit. My mom drove down from Phoenix and we shared the adobo and the walnut shrimp. The adobo was good - three tender pieces of chicken and lots of sauce. For the walnut shrimp, Eric uses yogurt instead of condensed milk. He says the yogurt is healthier but I also like that it gives the dish a bit of sourness which makes it more like a meal to me. Some people make the walnut shrimp sweet and it tastes like some kind of weird dessert. On my final trip, I had to order the Pad Thai because I had to know why my friends kept talking about it. And...Wow!...It probably was the best I've ever had. Lots of pork and shrimp and well-seasoned. I couldn't finish my meal and took it home. It's even better for breakfast.

This place is really good. The tofu lemongrass noodle bowl is top notch! They bring out fried wontons and sweet and sour sauce to your table. COKE ZERO ON TAP! The curry is a Japanese style curry not Thai, but still good. Good hot and sour soup. Their pea sized protons are cheap and big. I've gone several times and will keep going back.

    (5)
  • Jeff K.

First impression, inside is simple and clean. They have a lot of choices on their menu and there are vegetarian options. I've only tried the 'pea-sized' dishes which is $5, a great value. I'm picky about asian food and their sauces for most of their dishes containing meat come with very sweet sauces, which I'm guessing is catered to westerners.

Sorry to say that we were disappointed in our meal at Snow Peas. I was expecting a lot because of the pretty good reviews. Maybe I am a harsh critic of good Chinese food. Not to sound like a snob, but coming from N.Y. and living in L.A. for a time, my expectations are pretty high. If you follow my reviews, you will know which is my favorite Chinese Restaurant. I don't want to make comparisons because it is unfair. Let me mention that the menu here is quite extensive. We did only get a couple of dishes that are pretty standard. Probably, when trying a new place I am a bit on the conservative side. They do have Vietnamese, Filipino, Thai dishes that might well be terrific. They have a unique pricing option. You can order about 10 different standard dishes for $4.99. If you want soup, egg roll, fried or brown rice and a drink, for $6.99 you get the combo meal which includes everything. . You order at the front counter and they bring your dishes to your table. I ordered the hot and sour soup which came with some really good kind of Chinese noodles and duck sauce. Soup was just fair. I had the vegetable lo mein. It was a huge plateful. I'd say it was fair. Lots of vegetables. It came fairly warm when it was served but very quickly got cold. Strange. Hubby ordered honey chicken which came with a small egg roll, fried rice. The rice was so bland. The egg roll tasteless. Honey chicken was unremarkable. We came in on a Saturday at 5.30PM. Not one customer came in. The lady who took our order was very pleasant. I am not happy with giving this 2 stars, but because I am honest I feel I have to. Albeit, we did not try any other dishes which might be really good. If you are just looking for a quick fast food atmosphere then this place might fit the bill. P.S. The place is spotlessly clean.

Excellent service! Very friendly staff, with lots of menu options, you can even get your order in 2 different sizes! I have only tried a few things but, everything i have gotten has been great! And i love that they are vegetarian friendly, I will always go back for any egg drop soup needs!

  • M P.

I had very low expectations when I came in. Its an old Yokohama Rice bowl location that they turned into a new restaurant. Not a lot of ambiance in the place but it was clean and the people friendly. I have only gotten the Vietnamese dishes and I liked both the Lemongrass noodles and the Pad Thai. My husband and son tried a couple of the Chinese dishes and they liked them well enough. To me its a step up from a Panda Express or buffet type of place but not a high end restaurant. Fine by me. Its a great quick lunch spot or when I just want to grab dinner and eat but not go to fast food. We have been there a few times and its been consistent. Much better than other restaurants we have gone to in the same area.

The food here hits the mark. It's convenient to find a diversity of Asian fare at one restaurant. The venue is really clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is really palatable and cheap as chips. Try the beef and brocolli. The sauce is awesome!

Really great meal. Lots to choose from from all different Asian cuisines. I had the orange chicken, my son had the seseme chicken, my husband had the thai curry chicken. We split a chicken fried rice, crab wontons an order of egg rolls. I am stuffed but it was so good I didn't want to stop eating. My husband's Thai curry chicken was definitely my favorite. Just the right amount of sweet coconut and flavorful curry. The wontons were delicious, freshly made. The egg rolls were unique not your standard eggroll that you seem to get in all the Chinese restaurant really good though. When I eat fried food at a Chinese restaurant I pay attention to how old the oil is. You can tell when a restaurant cuts corners and the oil tastes old and that flavor lingers on the food. None of that old oil flavor here at all. They are definitely concerned with quality. Great meal. .. one of the best asian restaurants I have had in Tucson The owner and chef came and talked with us. .Really nice guy...happy that we enjoyed the meal. .ps.. not a lot of cars when we stopped for dinner still the food was fresh and service attentive. ....Found my new favorite chinese restaurant,!

I went in with my family (Viet) and my girlfriend's family (white). :) Everyone was extremely pleased with their meals. Our orders ran the gamut, from the lemongrass chicken, to the diced beef, to vegetarian dishes-- they were all so good! The service was very friendly as well. Prices were also very reasonable! I will definitely go there again!

The first time I ate at Snow Peas I was pretty amazed. I had the Pho, and the broth was just incredible. Normally, I like the Pho at Miss Saigon's but this was just as good, and it was closer to the east side of town. Since then, I've had taken out from Snow Peas on many occasions, and each time I've not been disappointed. The food is good, it's fresh, and it's tasty! There's quite a variety of different Asian dishes here. I especially like the Chow Fun, the fried rice, and the Szechuan Beef. Their two for twenty dollar special allows you and a friend to sample the menu with two main dishes, two soups, two drinks, and a shared dessert. I love the mango cheesecake. The prices are always pretty reasonable, and they offer a 10% Yelp check-in or a 10% Military discount. This place keeps me coming back.

Wow, previous reviewers really like this place! And that's exactly why I decided to give them a try. But frankly, I've had much, much better Chinese take out, oh sorry, Asian Fusion, before. Don't get me wrong, the food was ok, and very reasonably priced, but nothing special.

I've been using Yelp for years now and I just now decided to make an account for the pure reason that I was skimming through the pages, and saw that this place still has such good reviews. I stopped by here one day because I was in the area and saw that it had good reviews. Yes, place look nice and clean, but this about where the good part stops. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time so I expected the kitchen to be quiet, but after ordering it was still ominously quiet....... Not only that but our food came out scary fast. I mean I love fast service, but when you only have time to get your drinks and sit down before your food starts coming out, it's really scary. Not one sound of a hot pan, deep fryer, running water... nothing. But I would still be able to live with this fact if it wasn't for the fact that everything was just luke-warm and the beef, well... didn't taste like beef at all. I am still under the impression that their entire kitchen consists of just a giant microwave where they heat up all their frozen food. Maybe their reviews are so good since they were offering free food items to people that gave proof of a review on yelp... great tactic if you want to drive your yelp rating up I guess.

We have been to this place twice in the past 10 days, and loved it both times. Our granddaughter and grandson also loved the food. The Mongolian beef and low mein was a big hit both times. We had orange chicken, broccoli w/beef, egg rolls, low mein, & green tea. One of the great parts was the service on actual plates when we ate in. Also, it seemed that every different dish had a different sauce accompanying it (what a difference from the places that give you the same sweet sauce with everything). Another thing is that it is a local place... Support your local Tucson restaurants.... leave those national chains to fend for themselves.

So the food wasn't fantastic (I'd avoid the lemongrass chicken salad), but it was hot and good, and the service is what really made this place stand out. We did one of the 2 for $20 deals, and after we ordered, the owner told us about an extra discount we were eligible for. He also gave us a free soup, came by to check on us a few times (with his adorable baby son), and carefully wrapped up our food for us. Friendly and family-owned--a much better place to support than chain restaurants.

Great fresh food, and plenty of it too! The staff was friendly and they gladly accommodated my menu modification. And it's very reasonably priced!

Not too bad. I had the pho and it wasn't as fresh as Another place on Wilmont. The onions were cut WAY to big and the noodles had dry tip before I could soak them. But that's just not picky as a pho slut. Clean and modern inside, good menu choices, I'd go back for sure. Prices are fair.

Plus: Brown Rice option, fresh broccoli and bean sprouts, some unusual dishes., nice owners, very clean. Negative: Canned soup, sauces canned and too sweet. Confusing menu. Mediocre taste.

I love this place!!! Usually eat here once a week or so and you really can't beat the amount of food you get for the price. Try the lemongrass sauté -- I know you'll love it and you won't feel like you need to run a marathon to work off your lunch! The staff is amazing and friendly and you can tell they want you to enjoy the food. The owner even comes out every once in a while to ensure your experience is what you expect it should be. Hands down my go-to lunch site!

Being new to Tucson I had yet to find good Chinese food that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Snow Peas is a diamond in the rough.Snow Peas produces, fresh, delicious, authentic, and most importantly affordable Chinese food. It is a must try in Tucson. I have had their spicy eggplant, orange chicken (which is comparable to P.F. Changs), ma po tofu, and beef and broccoli. ALL of which were delicious! The people who work there are incredibly nice. I just can't say enough good things about SNow Peas.

Love the spicy eggplant (you can order it mild) and they have some surprisingly good chicken wings!

I'll give 2.5 stars for the service alone. The girl we ordered our food from was extremely kind and gave us great advice on what to get for what we were in the mood for. All things considered, the food pretty good. It was definitely not made-to-order, but I've had worse. Would I go back? Probably if someone wanted to go, but as far as the cost versus how tasty it was, not of my own free will. Let it be known, I appreciate the food and how hard it is to start up a restaurant nowadays. I just think that there are some subtle improvements that could be made to make it more desirable. All in all, not bad.

Appears to be a converted pizza hut, but it's nice inside. Wait staff was nice. Food was good. Rib eye had a lot of gristle, menu was all over the map, with everything from steak to Pad Thai. Prices were reasonable. Good place if you want basic good Asian food. Note, this is 4 stars for a counter service restaurant, not a sit down place.

I drive by Snow Peas everyday on my way to and from work and I kept wondering what kind of restaurant it was (see my note below). My husband and I decided to check it out about a week ago soley based on all the good reviews we had read on Yelp. We were very pleasently surprised. I had the lemongrass pork and my husband had the sezchuan beef (sp?), both of which were super tasty. The hot and sour soup was some of the best we've had in a long time. It made me happy that our 2 year old son kept asking for more of the veggies/tofu from the soup. The service was excellent and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food to come out. We can't wait to try it again. The only thing that keeps me giving 5 stars is the big sign outside. When you're up close you can totally see the snow peas (with their funny faces). But, when you're driving down Craycroft, it's hard to tell what the sign says, even in the dark when it's all lit up. We will definitely be going back and you should try as soon as you get a chance.

Stopped in with P after a Tucson shopping trip. Singapore noodles with shrimp and chicken was VERY good. I think they make their own egg rolls cause they were gooood. P had the Mango chicken and the smile on her face told the whole story. A must stop for lunch or dinner when in Tucson.

Just tried it the other day and my wife and I love this place. They are doing a $20 for 2 special. 2 soups (egg-drop / hot & sour), 2 full size dishes (limited ones but still a good selection), and a desert to share (fried ice cream / mango cheese cake) and 2 sodas. Food was great, soups where really good, I really liked the egg drop. I did Mongolian Beef and my wife had Szechuan Beef. For desert we did the fried ice cream and that was good also. Will be making this a regular place for us.

You know how P.F. Changs has that perfect crispy texture without using a pound of flour per each bite? Snow Peas has exactly that! Perfect crispness, every bite. Crunchy veggies, yes! We were looking for some sort of asian fare and yelped until we came across Snow Peas. Not many reviews but mostly good, we decided to give them a try. Pulling into the parking lot, we were slightly concerned about our decison. Then we walk in and you have to order at the counter. Even more apprehension. As soon as the man at the register started speaking all worries washed away. He was fantastic, personable, helpful, a nice nice nice man. We tried his recomendations and sat down at our table. The food started coming, the young server was attentive, friendly and warm. The soup was great. The entrees were even better. The chicken was crispy, with just enough sweetness and spice, the beef was juicy, flavorful and tender. The snow peas were perfect. The nice man that helped us with our order came to our table and asked too if we were satisfied with our meals and made sure we had anything we could possibly need. Come to find out this young man is one of the two owners. A pair of brothers. He said both have worked at many restraunts for years and finally were able to open their own. I admire them. They have been able to bring great food, more than fair pricing and super friendly service to this establishment. Though lacking a warm ambiance, the building is clean and not at all uncomfortable. I hope these guys get the chance they deserve. Try the cheese cake, my boyfriend ate it and everything else like a wild animal.

Yay! A new Asian joint in town that actually offers authenticity and variety! This place is a short jaunt down S. Craycroft, near the base. This place offers fare ranging from thai, to chinese, vietnamese and phillipino. Their fried noodle and rice dishes have a decent amount of wok flavor, and I found the braised pork and eggs to be a comforting taste of home. Freshness is apparent in the texture of the dishes and in the ingredients used. You won't be offended by same-brown-sauciness here, and the prices won't break the bank, either. Good sized portions are complimented by soups, and I appreciate very much that the owner, Eric, is invested in making sure the food is tasty and that we enjoy our experience there. If you're going to do take-out, this is a wonderful place for it, but why not eat in? the decor is not too fancy, but it's exceptionally clean. we've only been there for dinner (always on the late side of the night), so it's always been very quiet and relaxed. not sure what lunchtime looks like, but i'm betting we'll be there to see sometime in the near future!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
