There's so much to love about this place that any review can go on and on just highlighting all the great aspects of this Hotel. And, although I know management would love that, I'm going to give a brief breakdown of the good, but explain what's keeping this place from getting that very elusive, 5th star. As the previous reviews state, the rooms are amazing. Each is decked out in ultra modern, ultra comfortable amenities including a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, and sink, small living area with a love seat that folds out in to a bed, and a small work station, and a wonderful king size bed that made every night's sleep an enjoyable one. Everything is pristine, and room service did a great job every day. What's keeping this review from it's 5th star is the service in the common area/kitchen. Every day, there is a free breakfast with everything you could ask for- except for great service. The lady working the kitchen has a major attitude problem and snickered or rolled her eyes every time we asked her to refill something that was out. She made it very uncomfortable to be around that area and a hotel with such a name as the Maririott shouldn't be represented by an employee like this. Next time I go, I really hope she isn't there. Take her out of the equation and it was a perfect stay

I upgraded to a one-bedroom suite and really loved the layout. I'm used to staying at the Residence Inn on Speedway, so this review is a direct comparison to that one. Both have super-nice service at check-in. They always go out of their way to give you directions, explain the hotel, etc. The Residence Inn at Speedway has the old-fashioned townhouse-like rooms. I never bother getting a suite there so this was a real treat at the Residence Inn at the airport. This is where the comparison starts to get a little strange. At the Residence Inn at Speedway the woman that does the breakfast is SO NICE. She's always running back and forth, making sure that the eggs are fresh, if anyone needs help, etc. The woman at the Residence Inn at the airport could not care less. I stopped eating breakfast there rather than dealing with her and her over-peppered eggs. On Monday, we were out of eggs at 7:00 AM (breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30) and I had to get to work. She just looked at me and said, "What do you want me to do?" ....uhhhh make some eggs? Maybe? Then they ran out of coffee. So, unlike the other reviewer, they lost 3 stars due to breakfast. I think that kind of rudeness should be recognized as it really gets your day off to a less than perfect start.

I stayed here from late Friday night (1/07/11) until Sunday afternoon (1/09/11) with my boyfriend. The room was huge! We could tell it'd be big because the rooms were sort of spaced far apart. Our's had a kitchen with new appliances (everything from a toaster in the cabinet to a dishwasher and fridge!). The counter tops were granite and everything was clean. There was a flatscreen TV in the "livingroom" - the area across from the bedroom with a couch and chair. In the morning, there was a complimentary buffet breakfast from 7am - 9am (Saturday & Sunday) or 6:30am - 9? Monday - Friday. My boyfriend had to go do work at DM before 7am, but there was still cereal out he said. This hotel is resort quality minus resort prices. We absolutely loved our stay. There was one drawback with us being on the first floor- we could hear the person above us stomping around sometimes, but it wasn't that bad. Also, the fire detector kept flashing at night which was only a slight distraction to me- no big deal. Given the chance, I'd definitely go back! I really liked this place.

:) Good times, fresh linen, upgraded my room. Had bunch every morning. Recommends to all friends. The staff were professional and cool. I like the fact that during the time i went, it was not packed.

This is a good place to stay! The kitchen was great (be sure to ask for a room with an oven if you want one, which we did). The room was comfortable, the kitchen was adequately equipped, and the breakfast was hot and good. I would stay here again, even if it is a little further from the center of Tucson than I'd like.

I rarely post reviews about hotels. This one is exceptional. From the shuttles that will take you anywhere within 5 miles and back, to the included hot breakfasts, and even dinners 3 nights a week, to the manager being helpful and friendly and printing out papers for free on his computer, this Residence Inn goes that extra mile. Large, clean rooms, big flat tv's, nice pool and jacuzzi...friendly staff....I highly recommend it.

Easy check-in, friendly staff at all levels of their organization. Clean rooms, well maintained facility and grounds. Complementary breakfast and dinners which were above average compared to other hotel meals. I would recommend this hotel for anyone one with business around the Tucson Airport.

Twice I've stayed here now and had a great experience. The hotel's proximity to the airport makes it very convenient. I've stayed with my family and had plenty of room and amenities-the bit of breakfast in the morning is a nice bonus. I'm so glad I could also have my dog here with us-sure made my homecoming a breeze. Thanks for another great stay.

Really loved our room and time at this hotel. I don't usually like staying near airports, but this was a great location and easy to get to and from many places north and south from here. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great: Excellent breakfast with many choices, including hot breakfast items of the day in chafing dishes. Several evenings a week, light food served with wine and beer all included with your room. This food was enough for a meal for me and my husband, we are light eaters. The room price was so reasonable! We paid about $85 a night. Very nice 24 hour fitness room. Laundry. Helpful and friendly staff. Issues: None!

Great place to stay close to airport. Clean and nice. Stayed in a one bedroom. Room was nice and pullout sofa bed was ok in living room. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Staff was attentive. What you would expect in a well run Residence Inn. I would return when I visit Tucson.

Stayed this past weekend, for the Tucson Gem and Mineral show. The hotel was super nice and clean, and very QUIET. There were alot of cars in the parking lot, but I never saw or heard another guest. Layout of room is nice and more than I expected. Perfect place to unwind and breakfast -which was hot and tasty, especially the yogurt parfait, could not be passed up. Will definitely stay here again. Close by to J.O.G.S. show and out of the hustle and bustle.

I really enjoyed my night here. I stayed here on a park and fly plan and also when I have a very early flight the next morning. The property is clean, well appointed and very comfortable, plus it is practically at the airport. Very happy with it, from the kitchen to the quality of the bed and the furnishings. It is quiet and off the main street. The pricing was fair and the entire experience was positive except for some confusion about parking the car for a period of time and related the hotel rate. The hotel uses a shared free shuttle service (very efficient) that serves many of the local hotels on that street. NOTE: even though we had to LEAVE the hotel at (gulp) 4:30 am to get our early flight (double gulp), they had thoughtfully put out some breakfast foods to tide over a hungry early riser. I never saw any other hotel do that earlier than 6 am. Very classy. TIP: if you are parking your car for a trip, clarify the pricing BEFOREHAND, at the time of reservations.

Talk about an awesome deal! Stayed here for an interview and the discounted rate of $69 was simply ridiculous for the quality of the room - tons of square footage, big couches, king size bed and a full kitchen & bar counter. The wifi is free and fast as well. In terms of amenities, this place provides complimentary hot breakfast everyday and themed social hours in the evenings several times per week.

Well, as horrible as Tucson is... at least this hotel makes up for it. Spacious rooms, fully stocked kitchen, and a fabulous complimentary breakfast. I stayed here during a business trip and would have rather stayed in the hotel than wander around Tucson. If I ever have to go there again (hopefully and praying I don't) - I'd definitely stay at this hotel.

Big rooms, clean and appears to be recently refreshed. Good breakfast selections.
