Ordered the lobster tacos. That was my mistake. They always seem to put the worst parts of an shellfish into a dish. It's like, if I had seen what I was eating, I wouldn't have eaten half of it! For $11.49 I expect some nice pieces of lobster. Then the rice pilaf looked like someone had left it sitting in the oven on warm overnight. It's hit and miss at this restaurant and this lunch was a definite miss!

Let's start with the positives: 1. Waitress provided over the top service. She cracked my grandpa's crab shells for him. What a sweet gesture. (And yes, she put on gloves.) 2. Cheddar bay biscuits are always phenomenal (but I should warn you they don't reheat well at home, so don't bother taking them home.) Here are the negatives: 1. The food is bland. It has no seasoning on it at all. It's as if they put all the effort into the cheddar bay biscuits and then just give up after that. 2. Yeah that's about it.

Red Lobster is always a good place to eat. Staff is friendly and polite. Service is good and food is always great!!

I don't know what all the whining reviews are about! Technology has evolved enough to ensure everyone knows the deal with Red Lobster. Is it seafood? Technically, yes. Is it the tastiest or freshest or most well prepared seafood? Hell no! It's freakin' RED LOBSTER, people!! Did you mistakenly wander in here on your way to some other fancier fishery? Of course not! You know why you're here. This is where Uhmurricans come for a belly busting amount of mediocre sea-funk. And don't stop bringing out those biscuits until I have a greasy film coating the entirety of my mouth. It'll help distract me from the slightly different greasy trail the Admiral's Feast will leave behind. Sure, throw in an iceberg salad and maybe a steamed veg that I'll roll around my plate as I gorge myself on endless shrimp. I'll feel better with a green thing riding shotgun on my trough-plate while my warped internal dialogue argues that seafood is a healthier meal choice. Attaboy! Make my funk the sea-funk! I wants to get funked up!

My wife and I like seafood occasionally and there just isn't much in Tucson other than red lobster and joes so we decided to go here. Waitress was ok but overworked. Too many tables for her. We ordered a lobster bake and a seafood platter that comes with shrimp, lobster tail and snow crab. The crab legs were like pencils and impossible to crack. They need zipper knives for this task and don't have them. I had to ask for silverware since there was only one set, I didn't notice until the waitress couldn't be found. Took a while but finally got a set. The dinners were ok, but I did notice the price increases. Salads are not artfully done just lettuce in a bowl. The water served tasted so bad even with lemon in it it couldn't be drank. For $75 I think the dinners should be a little better than what we got. There just isn't any pride in display or content sometimes. Sorry if I rambled on sporadically. I'll do better next time.

Went with 4 friends. Hadn't been there in awhile but was glad I went back. Although it is a chain restaurant, they still have pretty good food. I love seafood and had the tilapia-parmesan crusted. It was pretty good. The prices varied depending on what you order but ranged from about $15 to $35.00. I have always loved the cheese biscuits that come with every meal. They list the fish that is local and fresh which is helpful. I've always had a decent meal at a Red Lobster and was not disappointed this time.

We went to Red Lobster last night and man what a difference. We had such a horrible experience before that we didn't go back for almost 2 years. My girlfriend Jaime wanted the lobster fest and I had a steak. Everything tasted great and the service was awesome. If you are going to the Broadway location, ask for Roy. It's still pricy, so expect that but much better than before. A side tip, if you sign up for the Fresh Catch Club, you will receive an email for a free appetizer or dessert you can you that night. Hope that helps.

This is a must restaraunt. The service is good and the food is just as good! I love this place. Much better than stinky old Applebee's. HEHEHE

Welcome to America's feedbag (seaside version). Do you like to eat your food with a shovel? Does it go down easier if you grease it first? Do you think that menu items over $20 automatically make a restaurant "fancy"? I wanted some crab legs and didn't feel like cooking and we hadn't been here in a long time and hubby wanted to go someplace easy. The menu has changed in subtle ways, but it's basically the same dark, loud place where you can order entrees that cost more than they should and alcoholic drinks that taste like sugar. Service is very fast and very friendly. The people here are great. It's just the food that's suspect. Even the biscuits, which I always remember as being pretty taste, were bland and heavy in the mouth. We started with calamari. I've addressed this issue before: why does my husband insist on ordering calamari when 95% of the time it's not done correctly? Typically people overcook their squid so it turns rubbery, but in a refreshing twist, this squid was actually tender and soft, while the breading was greasy and undercooked. Bleh. Possibly due to the cost of squid, this dish is now over 50% vegetables: broccoli and red peppers. I ordered a Caesar salad: the lettuce was fresh and the dressing was decent. I cannot comment on the quality of parmesan cheese because they neglected to put any cheese on this salad. My crab legs were OK but full of disgusting lukewarm water that ran out of the shell all over my arms and the rest of the food, like they were boiled rather than steamed. The drawn butter tastes like vegetable oil and this dish no longer comes with lemons. I had to ask for them separately and remind the waiter that I had asked for them after they didn't appear several minutes later. The sweet corn was very sweet. There were a couple tiny potatoes in the dish. I guess this is another money-saving device, because we're talking about an amount of potato equivalent to about 1/4 of the baked potatoes they used to serve. Hubby chose the make-your-own feast. I tried the heavily over-salted and very greasy pasta. The fish looked standard, perhaps a bit dry. He ate all the fried shrimp, which also looked pretty standard. Once again, I am reminded why I avoid chain restaurants. For basically the same price we could have eaten a non-disgusting meal made from fresh ingredients at Kingfisher.

This time I tried the 4-course $16 special. The potato soup was delicious. The Cheddar bay biscuits...were mmm good. The house salad, well...it was salad. The Coconut shrimp was fantastic. It tasted a little different than the last 4 times. Yet, it was good. The carmel Cheesecake was decent. The waitress was great. Overall, it was great.

Red lobster is one of my favorite places to go to because of their ultimate feast and endless shrimp. This place is your typical chain seafood restaurant and definitely not like Kingfisher. The biscuits here are always pretty good, although, it seems like maybe they don't use the same amount of cheese as they have in the past. My food arrived hot. Everything was delicious, except my green beans were overdone. The strawberry tea I ordered, didn't really taste like tea, just syrup with the addition of a fresh strawberry. The ultimate feast comes with all the seafood items you more or less want... crab legs, garlic shrimp, and lobster tail. Don't forget the side along with the mini salad. I didn't give them 4 stars because it was a little off putting to have so many flies in the restaurant especially when I'm spending so much money.

So disappointed in lunch today. The employees were all complaining about 50 people coming, which I would think would be a good thing. Then, we ordered the calamari, which half of it was just the crunchy coating and the broccoli had raw coating in the inside. The blue cheese dressing had no flavor. The buser spilled a drink down my side. The fried shrimp was old, the shrimp scampi I'm pretty sure was precooked and then reheated because they were rubbery and my white fish had no flavor (paprika is more for decoration). Needless to say, won't be back.

We ate the endless shrimp choices today. Every dish was outstanding. The service was wonderful. The marguerite was very large and oh so good. The restaurant was very clean. We will be back for dinner even though we live in Sierra Vista. Definitely worth the drive.

We went here for dinner and it was wonderful. We saw on yelp that they take reservations when called ahead we were informed that they do not. When getting to the restaurant it was not crowded and there were open tables all over but we were told it would take about 10 minutes to get a table. We waiting and were seated shortly. Or server was kind and attentive. He had a large section but we never felt that he forgot about us. The food came out and was great. My date cut open the stake on one side and saw that it was well done and not medium rare. The server asked how was the stake and he said slightly over done but it's okay. We continued to eat and enjoyed the lobster and stake combination. The server came back with a whole new stake!! We both could lot believe it and thanked him very much. I could not believe the level of customer service. The plates were wonderful I just wished they were a bit cleaner and had less oil. We will be back again, for the price point and the customer service you can not beat it for a great date night.

Sparkling water with lime, cole slaw, biscuits, fish and chips; seafood-stuffed mushrooms to go. The biscuits are yummy, and the cole slaw is tasty. Is there a little mustard in the flavor? I'm sitting at the bar because the place is packed, and that's where there was room to be served right away. The bartender's service is excellent and congenial. The chips (French fries) were tasteless; the fish (haddock), chewy. I ate the "hand-battered" fish with malt vinegar, and even that didn't help. I wouldn't recommend the fish and chips at all.

Went tonight for dinner, been quite some time since we've been to a Red Lobster, and not at all here in Tucson. Everything was really delicious, except for the biscuits, they were hot is the only thing good about them. They tasted like Bisquick biscuits! Service was decent, however the clam chowder was never served. One order of a cup, thought maybe the waitress didn't hear the order for it, but we were charged for it on the bill. The waitress offered to bring it to go, so we did, she brought a bowl, ordered a cup. She also brought more biscuits to take home, however we won't eat them, guessing they were left on someone's table and that's just gross, they were cold cold! Will we go back again? Probably. But it will be a while.

Ok, what happened? Last Red Lobster I ate at fell flat so I thought the chain was going downhill. This location surprised me, service could have been a little better, but the food was very good although the Cheddar Biscuit recipe appears to have changed as I feel the taste falls short of what it used to be. Although the service could have been somewhat better, the server was quit patient with us as I was ordering for my vision impaired father and mother who has dementia. Almost a 4 star in my books.

I arrived with four of my male friends, while being seated the host "jokingly" asked what I did to get these guys. He strongly inferred that I am either a prostitute or a slut.

My experience here tonight was excellent. We had the best waiter ever. His name was Cookie and he had a warm friendly personality. I ordered the seaside shrimp trio. My food was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely come back here and you should too. Ask for Cookie, he'll make your visit fun and memorable.

Horrible greeters don't know who's saying what! Tried making reservations for a party of 12. When we arrived they said we needed a reservation for our party come on make up your mind! So they were going to separate the party! No good at all!!!!!

I am no longer going to attend this restaurant location since they had decided to sell us under-cooked lobster. I called the manager at this location to report the partially cooked lobster and she did not handle our concerns very well. We called them immediately when we discovered the problem (after we got home with the take out). The manager looked up our ticket/receipt and confirmed we had ordered from them. Then as I explained the condition of the lobster and she offered I drive all the way back to them to have them cook it again? My family didn't discover it was undercooked until they had already eaten some of it. This is a serious health risk and I told this to the manager repeatedly who defended the cooks by stating that they always check the temperature of their lobster before they serve it. However, what we were given did not support this. I offered to bring back the lobster to PROVE to them that our report was not false since I got the feeling she wasn't really convinced. The manager began to sound annoyed after speaking with us and offered to send a $50 gift card or restaurant credit. I think it's safe to say we DON'T trust this place or their staff.

I've never had a problem at this place like a lot of reviewers have had. Everything is always hot and fresh. Our party was 13 strong and Maria never had a problem taking care of us. Thanks Maria!

Been here several times. Today got coconut shrimp, peach bourbon scallops & snow crab. 15 mins after order & we're told they're out of sea scallops! Re ordered & waiting again. It's now been 30 mins since 1st ordered. Wow...got food. At least the coconut shrimp were tasty as always. The bay scallops I ordered were ok. I also got the lobster mashed potatos, unfortunately all they are is plain mash with a lobster sauce poured over them, not worth the extra $. They were very apologetic about not having our entree and comped us the coconut shrimp. All in all I will come again, partially because seafood can be hard to find in Arizona and because the service was good and I will always love their tartar sauc and their coconut shrimp.

This review is nearly two months overdue, but here goes! We went the day before my birthday and Erin was our waitress. She was great! She heard (because she asked if we were there for an occasion) that it was my birthday and asked me if I wanted them to sing to me. I told her "no!" and she respected it. She kept the biscuits coming (the only reason I really like Red Lobster, lol) and the drinks were always full. This location is nicer than the one on Oracle by the Tucson Mall.

We Waited to be seated in s seemingly empty restaurant for about 10 mins no biggie. We were seated, ordered drinks, and an appetizer. Then It seemed to be about 25-30 before we saw our waiter again. finally we made our entrée orders. the food was... well typical chain frozen seafood. my plate was delivered with the incorrect side dish. anyways all that aside my 5 month old was sleeping the entire time until we made our entree order. if he had come back we would have been finished before she ever woke up.Not blaming the retaurant for my baby waking but they need to be more attentive to their customers 2 stars

I havent been there since 2011 because my last two visits have been aweful. last time I ordered a special that served a salad, a chowder and then two types of seafood. I never got the soup til way AFTER I pointed it out, I got it after my entree even though I just asked to remove the price of the soup. The time before that the scallops were gritier than sandpaper. Kinda sad since this was my favorite place to eat lunch when I come to see my neurologist. Aweful kid menu.

went to red lobster last night for a family birthday dinner. we were a party of 14. the person who phoned in a "call ahead" was told he wasn't able to put our name down until we reached the restaurant. my husband and i reached the restaurant before the rest of the group. we put our name down, but were told that we wouldn't be quoted a seat time until 75% of our part showed up. great! so all 75% of us could wait half an hour or more to be seated. didn't really make much sense to us. plus we had four small children in our party (and everyone knows how that goes) after waiting (and getting glares from the hostesses) we were finally seated. we had two servers to accommodate the size of our party. i only grabbed roy's name. the other lady was nice, too. for the size of our party, i have to say that dinner went super smooth. i think the only thing they forgot was a side of fries that was supposed to accompany an entree. overall, not a bad place for dinner. those cheddar bay biscuits are so dang delicious! it's a good thing they never let our baskets go empty.

I love Red Lobster! I went here with my mom and one of my brothers for dinner it was very busy and to be expected on a Saturday evening. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated however the waiter who was assisting our table I think had too many tables to wait on because he kept forgetting anything we asked for it took forever to get our food and our check. Expected service on a busy night I would go back the food was good the service was just a little behind but understandable.

Downhill slide. I use to love Red Lobster! However within the past few years their food has gone down hill. I can understand the economy made a huge impact because of higher prices, the portions are so much smaller and more expensive. When my food arrived it felt like everything was rushed and thrown together quickly on the plate during a slow Tuesday night. The cheddar biscuits lacked flavor. :( I'm just bummed because Red Lobster use to be my fave restaurant but now I rarely go because of the service and food. I hope things turn around.

I will never go to this Red Lobster again! I gave them not one but two chances to get our food right. The first time was worse than lat nights. The first time they we asked for our apps first and of coarse the salads come first, then 3 minutes later the apps, then 3 minutes later the main course! The main course was like ice. We sent them back and finished our apps. After speaking with management 3 time's we had enough and asked for our check and to forget the 2 lobsterfest dinner we had ordered the one with two tails and we made them bit Maine lobsters and added another one as we love lobster! I let Darden (Parent company) know about this all and they where pretty good about it and I was told the staff and management would be getting a visit to see why this stuff was happening. Last night my daughter came for a visit from phoenix with her boy type friend. I want to go out and had a litte gift card from Darden they asked me to go back and give them another chance. The service was a little slow (10 minutes before she showed up) but not to bad. Drinks went well, Apps went well, Salad was just ok (should have gone with soup). Then came the $140 worth of main course food. I had crab (warm at best) My daughter had to send her crab back as it wasn't even warm. Wife had the lobster (no drawn butter). We had all ordered backed potatoes LOADED not one was done correctly. After 3-5 trips back to get things straightened out the last thing was my daughter corn on cob. after asking two more times for it she just gave up. I come from the food service industry having worked as dishwasher, waiter, cook, chef, food salesman, Sales manager for a major food distributor, and the Director of sales and marketing for a food manufacturer. I know food and i know service and this place has neither. I may try one of the other Red Lobsters around town but I doubt it, I can get a better $200 meal than they offer here. You have been warned!

I love Red Lobster on occasions. Not a place you will usually go but a great treat when you want a decent priced seafood meal, especially when they have specials. Do not expect Five Star and you will enjoy the event there.

My mom wanted to eat here for lunch the other day. It's Lobster-fest. So we did. I hadn't been here for 7 months and I remembered why. My mom doesn't like the wood grilled taste of food. She wanted the lobster tail with the grilled shrimp, but to change how the shrimp are cooked. At first the waiter argued with her until we both told him that she doesn't like wood grilled. He finally agreed that he'd tell the cook and see what could be done. I ordered the fish and chips. Large portion of fried haddock. OVER cooked. I was surprised since that should be a fairly easy dish to prepare. My mom's lobster was ok, but the shrimp. Well, the cook was able to put them through the oven on the skewers. They didn't look done and they had some weird sauce on them. My mom wasn't able to identify it. It was orangish. She scraped it off. She only ate a few of them. We were give a $5 coupon by the manager. She gave it to me. It expires 4.24.12. I won't be using it. It'll probably be another 7 months or more before I'll be back there.

I don't eat seafood but this place was delicious last night. I ordered the New York Strip steak but I did taste my boyfriends lobster dipped in the butter sauce. It was good. The service was good. We waited about 1/2 an hour to eat, the place was packed. It was about 5:30pm on a Saturday. This location is next to the Park Place Mall. I got refills as soon as my Boston tea was low and my Caesar salad with biscuits were very tasty. If you get dessert order the Warm Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie, it is heaven. I would also recommend sitting at a booth, it was comfortable. For three people the bill came out to $93.00. It was my boyfriends mom's birthday and we told the server, but no free desert or anything. :( All in all, I would definitely go back. Check out my pics above! YUM!

So annoying. I call to please a pick up order. 10 minutes on hold. I hang up and call back. Same thing. Finally some one answers i place my order says it will be 20 minutes. I show up to an empty restaurant. Where i am told to wait at an empty bat got some one to take my payment. I wait another 10 minutes for that. Then I'm given cold foodfor me to heat up.at .home

Ok so the service was just ok nothing special to mention about our waiter. The manager of the restaurant was great he did tough our table and when we made a complaint he did offer a discount and gave us a gift card. The only complaint I have is the food. I am not sure why but their chef just loves SALT. Way to much Salt. All I could taste on my lobster tail was salt. I had asked for light garlic on the shrimp scampi and I will say they totally missed the request as it was very strong on the garlic and the salt. The baked potato I had was crusted in salt all over the skin. If you enjoy the flavor of salt this is the place for you. I will say that upon my return I will ask for Salt FREE dinning. We had also asked for bread without cheese and that came at the very end as we were putting items into our doggie bags. The Grilled Shrimp on a skewer were fabulous so as long as they do not use the salt the food would be wonderful. The manager is what turned the evening around for us as we were 3 ladies enjoying a night out.

Why would I wanna write a review? Like I've said in my past reviews, its just so hard to find a good seafood restaurant in Tucson. All I wanted was some crab legs! Everytime I've been here its been pretty slow. Which worked to my advantage cause the service is great everytime. Very friendly, down to earth people, who just doesnt come by to fill your water and see if everything was ok. Plus, who can resist them cheddar bay biscuits!

Slow, inattentive service coupled with poor food.......never going back. It was not that busy either so there was really no excuse for such slow inattentive service.
