Making a study of DIY pizza is their business, and I am proud of my creations here. Riding the wave of other successful eateries like Chipotle and even Subway who put the customer in charge, your pie can be an outlandish ricotta/pineapple banana pepper margherita like mine, a meat lovers' orgy, or a five-cheese explosion, and all this on either white or whole wheat dough and baked in five minutes for $8. The ingredients are all fresh and range from the standards to fairly creative (marinated red peppers with basil). Pielogies (not sure if I got the plural right) are popping up strategically near university housing, and they do reliably fast and delish selfie pies.

The pizza here is really good, fresh and fast. The red sauce is excellent, can't wait to try the new Alfredo sauce. They have Gluten free crust, and soon, dairy free cheese. The staff is really friendly. The restaurant has lots of seating both bar and tables. Its very clean.

Two adults on a late Friday afternoon. First timers. Easy to order, selecting all the ingredients is easy and fun, and no worries about the amounts of the toppings you want. I liked the thin crust. Because of the ability to select the varied toppings the flavor was not boring, with all the flavors recognizable. Price was fair, employees were all friendly and professional, took only a few minutes to cook the pie, will come back again. Now that we think about it, the pizza was the best we have had in a very long time.

I would say this place is a great place to go out of the original toppings. They serve thin crust pizzas and they have their own pizza specialties or you can make your own for the same price! They also allow unlimited toppings too if u want to make your own. How amazing is that! I love this option so I can add all my favorite toppings. They have so many toppings here including the ones you usually find in a normal pizza place like pepperoni, pineapple, and many more. I would say this place is definitely worth the price for what you pay for. The food is decent, price is good, and it definitely fills you up!

I work around the corner and decided to check this out with a friend who is familiar with it from living in California. I was dissapointed.. It was disorganized, a bit messy and confusing.. they didnt really explain much to us, but I was just expected to understand the oils and stuff that they put on.. Now, im pretty savy when it comes to food and dining out, so I'm sure I'm not alone. The food came out fast and was ok though. I would prefer to go to Pizza Studio next door though. My friend thinks we came on an off day, because she said she never had that sort of disjointed experience before.

This was a nice place to eat. I like how you can make a pizza just the way you want it. It also is fast. Clean please too the bathroom looked like they check them after each person uses it. I have never been to a place like this before and the worker at the time was very nice to explain how it all works to me and make suggestions. Will be back with friends soon!!

Loved the pizza and the fresh clean environment. If u like a thick crust this place isn't for u. Love the idea of picking whatever toppings u want and it's all the same price. It's kind of like subway but for pizza. They only have one size pizza and its under 9 bucks with unlimited toppings. Love that they have fresh mushrooms.

I have had a different pizza here every day since they opened almost a month ago. (The first 5 customers won free pizza for the month of October and I'm a college student on a budget.) The crust is thin with the perfect amount of crunch. Unlimited toppings including a variety of meats and it bakes in 4 minutes. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Actually 3.5 stars. We were about to leave town but needed to eat before hitting the road. This was really close to the University, and pizza sounded good. This place does one size and style of pizza. One. It's about 12", thin crust. But for one price you can put as many toppings as you want. They also have a few pre-made salads. So we get a couple of pizzas. It was tasty pizza. Certainly better than a frozen pizza, but nothing extraordinary. I'd really say three stars, but I'm giving a half star for customizability. Pizza came out fast, too. Definitely better than 3 stars, but honestly not quite up to four. I much prefer Grimaldi's, but this was pretty good. I might come back under the right circumstances.

I was excited when I first came here. The old hand roll sushi place and some other trashy joint were depressing. There are seriously so many bad restaurants close to the U of A that are making profit - not because they're good- but just because they get a lot of foot traffic. The old restaurants were like that in my opinion. So we get to this place and walk in, and I was surprised but what I saw. A new place with a clean, elegant design. We go up to order our pizzas and the concept is amazing. You get to make custom pizzas quickly with a variety of options. As we tried to describe our first impressions about this place - the first definition that came to mind was: it's like a chipotle for pizzas. I think that accurately describes what this place is about. As we sat down we started to make observations. The trash can looks like the one in chipotle. The metallic seating and queuing area kind of looks like chipotle. Then, we said you know what even the logo kind of looked like chipotle's one but with "pieoligy" instead. Then we started scrutinising everything. Even the employees were wearing similar uniforms to chipotle employees! At this point the similarities were ridiculous. So I did some research and apparently I'm not the only one to notice this. The owner's reply was: "Comparing us to chipotle is the best compliment anyone can give us." He's playing it off well, but in my opinion that's not good enough. The fact is this place does not even attempt to be unique, it just COPIED chipotle. Yes i said copied. And yes legally they might get away with it, but it's obvious that's what they did. For that reason I have to bump down the rating. A lack of creativity is one thing, but copying a whole concept to so many details is just sad. At least it's better that the old restaurants which is an improvement.

I used to go to the Pieology in Irvine, CA semi-frequently and I love the concept&food! The one in Irvine is at Irvine Spectrum. Most of the time the line was pretty long. On the other hand, this Pieology doesn't seem as busy (yet - since it is new after all), the food's just as good, it's very clean and the staff is very friendly. i highly recommend you check out this place!

This place is awesome! The staff is very friendly and they have a really good selection of unlimited toppings. The pizza's are pretty big (11 inches) so it's perfect to split with someone else (ends up bein pretty cheap as a meal for two). I love how the crust comes out, the pizzas are made in this crazy oven (not sure if it's brick or not) that makes the crust come out spectacular every time. The only downside is there is only so much variation you can do, so it's not the best place for really frequent visits, but that's not the establishments fault. This place deserve you throw your money at them anyways.

crust was awesome, sauce was quite off, cheese was alright, would have been one of the best pizzas i've ever eaten in tucson but cheese and sauce ruined that. Kudos though for having wheat crusts.

I went there last night with a few friends after the zoo lights and i saw the size of the pizza and changed my mind on getting one. For me it was too damn small. After tasting a sice from my girl friend and friend i decided to go back in line, and get me a pizza. I loaded it up with everything they had. I knew this was the only way i was going to get my moneys worth. and i was more then full at the end. It tasted awesome! the customer service was great and we all had a good time!!

Had a plain cheese pizza from Pieology yesterday and I was really disappointed. First of all, the bread is extremely thin and they don't provide any other type of bread ( or maybe i wasn't told about their different types of bread ) Secondly, It's toooooo damn expensive for the quantity and even quality A cheese pizza of the same size in dominos maybe a $1 more, but is at least 1000 times better in terms of the quantity of cheese & sauce and quality of the overall pizza. If you are looking to fill your stomach, I wouldn't bother going to Pieology. Honestly there is no value for money, and as a college going student thats what matters to me

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
