The first pizza we ordered out from here was delicious. Perfect crust - crispy and not too thin or too thick. The flavors were excellent. Every pizza we've had since then (all 3 of them, all different flavors/toppings) were soggy/greasy. I'm so bummed because this place is so conveniently located to my house.

I'm not a huge pizza fan, because I consider myself pretty picky. If I want pizza I want it to be pretty darn close to true Italian pizza. Since living in Tucson NYPD is the only place I will order from. I totally recommend the pizza margarita but ask for no sauce and olive oil instead for a more authentic pizza!

I love NYPD Pizza. It's a great price for a tasty, well balanced pizza. It doesn't have excessive cheese and one can get slices with what one wants on that slice. The ambience is very casual with a larger room with TV's to watch sports while eating.

Where to start. 1. Food is delicious, pizza is always perfect and we can tell by the great ingredients and the cook's abilities. 2. Staff is great. We always get great service by someone that's smiling, joking around and constantly asking us if we're doing okay. Of course, we're always doing ok. Even the chef asks us if everything's fine. Where else does the actual cook asks you that? 3. Straws. I know they're for kids but they let me have one anyways, and that was awesome. 4. Desserts, why? they have them and they rule. 5. There was one time where one of the guys told my boyfriend he was being cool by not dumping the whole soda cup in the can but by putting in the coke dispenser first. We felt loved and appreciated as clients. this place rules. source: I was there.

I have been looking for yummy Pizza and this is the spot. Huge slices of genuine NY love! The Sandwhich selection is terrific. Just look at the size of the Meatball sub. I have no idea what is wrong with the other reviews but this place is a definate 4 rating. I would have given it a 5 but the guy at the counter refused to give me a back rub!

The pizza slices here are big, and taste ok, but theya re very over priced. Two slices with one topping each and no drinks set me back almost 9 dollars. It is very close to my house so I wish that the proce compared to the quality of food. Every time I walk in the door I'm met with awkward stares from the cashiers, and I feel pressured to order and get out of there fast. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant.

Since I can't find my review here or under NYPD, I'll just write it again. I do NOT recommend this place for pizza, service or their garlic ties. I was so excited to have found them, because their website looked inviting..... but when my pizza came there was a good 1/4 of grease setting on it. I looked at the cook who delivered it .... in awe.... I complained to the server, and she said....yeah, our pizza is greasy! Who the hell wants to eat that. THEN..... I posted my dislike to their FB page, twice.... and after the second time I got a very rude (yet the person claims respectful) response to my dislike. I say..... this is the world of social media! Deal with it! If you made a better product you would not have to worry and be so darn p...sy! so, I made my rating a 1 instead of a two for their poor attitude....oh, and the service was quite lacking, too!!!!!

Absolutely love the Baked Roast Beef Parm. Big size and packed with flavor. Their Pizza has great flavor as well, although quite greasy. Stromboli is ginormous! The downfall to this place is it's fairly packed at lunch time. You can usually get a "reheated" slice of pizza (What pretty much every pizza place does, reheat an already cooked cheese slice and add toppings too it) fairly quickly, but if you order a sandwich you will wait 15-30 min for them to make it. If you call in your order you usually get placed on hold or get hung up on. I stopped trying and just go and order for carry out there if I want to bring back to work. All in all good food if you order something fresh, just have to be willing to wait for it.

Love their red sauce! I ordered baked ziti and it was enough for my lunch AND for my husband and I to both have for dinner! Definitely will be calling on them for to go orders on my way home from work. We use their catering at work too! The owner is great and I hope he has a solid business plan. I could see this place with stores all over town!

Absolutely spotlessly clean, very friendly service, and wonderful food. Their garden salad with homemade croutons is beyond compare! The prices are also very reasonable. You can't go wrong getting food from NYPD!

everything they have is fresh and amazing. they don't even have crappy canned jalapenos. i'm not a huge fan of most of pizza but the pizza here is wonderful and they make great subs, wings, salads and pasta too! definitely something for everyone and the prices are awesome. i was told that they are getting their beer and wine license soon and even bought the place next door so they are able to make it bigger! definitely a great place to go and bring the family too!

I really like the pizza there. Went with a group of friends and it was a pleasant surprise. Three of us shared a philly cheesesteak pizza which was very delicious. There was a lot of cheese and it was very tasty. Others had individual slices or an entree and everyone was happy with their meal. The entrees were really large so easy to make a couple of meals out of it. If you want the cheesesteak pizza though best to call ahead as can't get it by the slice.

First try - Called, ordered and paid for 2 calzones and a salad. Delivery driver showed up without the salad and 1 incorrectly prepared calzone. Driver apologized and store said they would comp us a salad and calzone. Second try - Called and ordered salad, same calzone as in order number 1 (substitute mozzarella for ricotta, w/ pepperoni, w/ mushroom, w/ green olive) and 20 wings. Order arrived with calzone containing pepperoni, copious amounts of ricotta, pineapple?, and green olives. The wife and I hate pineapple and ricotta, but decided that an attempt to rectify the situation was useless at this point. We called the shift supervisor to make them aware of the situation. We were not interested in any more incorrectly prepared food, even if it was free of charge. There are too many good places to eat in Tucson to waste your time with things of this nature.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
