It's Mimi's, so up front just know that three stars is good... it just did not go beyond or below what you would expect. There was hardly anyone in there when we arrived for an early lunch. We were seated right away, and our server came right up. Brought us some ice water, offered up some lemons (which I like but always forget to ask for). He took our order quickly, came back often to check on us... really now that I think of it, he was the best part of the visit. We ordered the trio deviled eggs to start - they actually came out pretty fast, and were surprisingly good. We both ordered SALAD's - one Cobb, one Chicken Chop. I capitalize salad because it was nuts how long it took the kitchen to prepare them. I think we waited roughly 25 minutes for them which is crazy right? for salad? in a restaurant with hardly any patrons? It was a good salad, but it is tough to screw up lettuce and whatever you are throwing on top. We both ordered the "baguette" with our salads... but come on this was no baguette, let's just call it a dinner roll okay? Look, food was good - service was really good - kitchen was a bit slow but overall it was okay and I would bring my parents here because that is the type of crowd they cater to.

It's tough to fathom how this place is still in business when there are so many great breakfast places in the city. Mimi's was our breakfast-of-choice back around 2012, but it has fallen hard since then. It is fairly clear that the restaurant was nice at one time but hasn't been maintained since those years- there are holes in the wood panels, dirt and old food all over the carpets, one of the emergency exit signs above a door broke and is just hanging there by the cable, the tables are sticky and old gunk is visibly caked onto the surfaces, the dishes are visibly dirty, the list goes on. On our most recent visit, the server couldn't even bother to give us fresh napkins under our drinks- they literally set the glasses down on top of crumpled-up napkins. The staff didn't know who our server was supposed to be, so we ended up getting two different servers try to take our order. Our server brought us two glasses of coffee, and after being told that we only ordered one, she apologized but left the second cup there and attempted to charge us for it anyway. The meals are OK, but not in any way worth the money. They are roughly half as big as they were years ago. The bacon on our bacon avocado omelette was 75% fat and the ham on my Benedict was lukewarm at most. Even worse, the individual who brought the food out had something on his fingers that was visibly smearing onto the plate he brought out. This place makes me feel nauseous. The sanitary concerns alone are enough to make me suggest that this place be avoided while it remains in its current state.

I ate at Mimi's for the last time this past weekend. It had been about 2 years since I'd eaten there, so I really looked forward to the homemade corned beef hash that I loved so much. When I got there & looked at the menu, I noticed the hash is now described as "diner style". I ordered it and, sure enough, it was "diner style", which means out of a can. YUK! I was so disappointed in the entire meal. I ordered my eggs over-hard, but they were runny. The toast was cold and came with butter on the side, so the butter didn't melt on the bread. The potatoes used to be pan-fried red-skinned and very flavorful, they are now small white potatoes which are cut in half and deep fried. Soooo greasy! I have to say the service was great, but that's not nearly enough to make me ever return.

Got really undone eggs on my eggs Benedict and the staff didn't care. So we're my sons eggs when he ordered scrambled eggs. I was completely disappointed.

Mimi's used to be so good, but no more. I will not be going back after my last experience. To begin with, the wait person was very friendly, but the service was slow. I ordered a bacon/avocado omelet. The bacon, tomato, and avocado were on top of the eggs and had to be diced to mix into the eggs. By the time I had cut up the filling the eggs were cold. Putting cold veggies in the eggs didn't help. I also ordered sough dough bread and got un-buttered white toast. It was no longer warm so the butter didn't melt into the bread. My daughter had crepes and they were topped with what appeared ti be an overcooked glob of cheese that she removed as being inedible.. But the worst came when I got the bill. I had a coupon for "buy one entree and get a second one at the same price or less for free." The total bill was for much more than I thought it should be and upon examination I discovered that a third entree for $8.99 had been added and that amount was used for the free entree. ((The real lowest entree was $10.49). When a girl (assistant mgr. perhaps) was shown the error she rang up a corrected bill and only gave me a 50% reduction in the 2nd entree. Of course, this still wasn't correct. The manager came over and did offer an apology and showed the girl how to ring the bill up correctly and promptly left, Of course taking 3 attempts to get a correct statement took a lot of wasted time and it was not a pleasant experience.

the service was good and we got a table immediately. The menu is fun and they have a great option to have both a little sweet and a little savory instead of having to order 2 full meals to get some of each. however, we had to go through 2 coffee cups before we got a 3rd that didn't have lipstick stains. and the bathroom not only had no toilet paper in the stall but it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. so while the food was good, the cleanliness made me a little wary - i will probably not go back

Horrible experience on Mother's Day. Called, they don't take reservations. Got there after church and was told the wait would be 45min to an hour. They had a sign saying make reservations for Mothers Day. Several people turned away as they were too busy. After an hour enquired how much longer and was told possibly another hour. For a restaurant that does not take reservations, that is the only people they were seating. We were no closer to being seated than when we arrived. Left and went to B J BREWERY. Excellent food and wait staff there. I would recommend skipping Mimi's and go to BJ'S.

Took my mom and son there for a late breakfast on 6/23/15. We were seated promptly, and ordered coffee and three Bloody Marys. The drinks came out and looked lovely-until my son pulled his celery out and it had dirt all over the bottom. It took ten minutes to get out server to come back in a nearly empty restaurant. She did not seem surprised or sorry, took his drink, cut off the dirty part and brought back the same drink. Not a great beginning. We ordered (waffles for mom, potato benedict for me, breakfast tacos for my son) the food was all barely warm when it came out. The manager was there watching us and refused to make eye contact with me and shortly after disappeared. We did NOT get muffins (maybe they stopped doing that?) At the end of the meal my son was horrified to find a short black hair on his plate - and immediately after a short white hair. I paid (skimpy tip for lack of service) and we have no intentions of going back there. Too bad really, we love the Mimi's in Phoenix.

The food was up to its usual standards, but this Mimi's location is severely understaffed. We waited a while for our server to take our lunch orders. It took even longer for the food to come out. Our server did bring us baskets of bread. Then it took a really long time to get our bill. I thought we were out of the woods, but it took another 10 minutes to get our credit card back. There were empty tables and there were still a lot of people waiting. While I can appreciate their efforts at providing the flavor of France (including the inattentive service), there is a point at which a dining experience turns into a hostage situation.

Wonderful breakfast. Joined family for pre-wedding breakfast. We were able to peacefully talk in a lovely decorated French style restaurant. Staff was very attentive and the food was very delicious. Love that each plate comes with a cup of fresh fruit. Mimosas were on the menu as well as a full bar.

It was a hot spot for Easter brunch. We had a reservation and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The lobby was packed at 12:30. Things I liked...they bring you complimentary bread basket, have lots of kids options and those include a drink, and because it was Easter they also sent us home with bakery. Things I didn't like...they just weren't prepared for such a crowd. The brunch menu looked so good but everything came out kind of dry like it sat under a warmer too long. Everyone around the table when asked how they liked their food did a shoulder shrug..."just okay." The options good but the execution bad...probably due to the volume of guests.

Fabulous service , terrific good and great latte and cappuccino. I had a buy one get one free and so this was a great deal. Unfortunately here at noon and a long wait for our fancy covers and acoustics were quite loud due to crying children. Go off hours and enjoy.

Went to breakfast with daughter and grand daughters, service sucked, waited over 45 mins to get food, finally brought out the kids meal and said the rest would be out soon, they ran out of pancake batter, 10 mins later brought our food out, my daughters breakfast had a hair on it, when we told the server he seemed annoyed. We will never be back!

My husband and I ate lunch here after receiving a BOGO coupon in the mail. We ordered the calamari to start. The waitress asked if we wanted fresh cracked pepper on it and we said yes. She never brought the pepper. He ordered the fish and frites and the fish was okay, fries were slightly burned and cold. Waitress was harried and spilled soda on my husband's foot. I ordered the bacon guacamole burger and substituted cheddar for swiss. The burger came with swiss and there was a small piece of plastic packaging (maybe from the burger?) on the burger. Our drinks went unfilled and we had to ask another server for some mayo because ours was MIA for a long time. This was one of the most disappointing meals I've had.

Came here with family expecting a nice relaxing evening. We were one of two tables seated in our room. The food took nearly an hour to come out. There was construction happening in the room the entire time we were there. And it was loud (drilling on brick, etc.). The server forgot much of what we had specifically requested, which were simple requests involving menu items, a bread basket, water refills, etc. The only redeeming qualities were that the food was actually pretty good, and the manager came and apologized for the construction and took a percentage off the bill. This particular Mimi's could stand a little TLC in the service and logistics department. I recommend NOT scheduling interior construction projects during business hours.
How can you screw up a French Dip sandwich? The beef was dry as a roll of toilet paper, shredded thin, and held hot for hours to create a bizarre 'dusty' taste. It had been stirred so many times that it had the consistency of cornmeal. The bun had sat out in the open air and completely dried out. The big handful of shredded raw onions (yellow?) was grotesque. The Au jus was completely cold (as in right out of the refrigerator) and they only put about 2 tablespoons in the cup. 'Come enjoy a taste of France'...........are you kidding me? That sandwich was the worst restaurant meal I've ever eaten.

Mimis makes me happy, from the atmosphere, to the great food, the great staff, everything is perfect. They just are NICE. The food is good to the last bite, salads are just amazing, chicken is always perfectly cooked. Little bottle of champaigne never hurts either. Just kidding, they are cute though. They have different rooms to choose from for your dining experience, so match your mood sit where you like. Great place, great food, always clean, Love MIMIs.... :)

I agree with practically every other review posted about Mimi's. Let's start with the clientele: Outside of a hospital I have never seen so many oxygen tanks and canes in one place. Don't get me wrong; I have nothing against elderly people. I plan to be one someday. It just makes me ask myself what the draw is here for that crowd. The place seems outdated. I thought carpeting in a restaurant was a thing of the past... for good reason. IMO, it just looks dingy and really detracts from the appearance of cleanliness. I will be honest, I did not even look at the menu. My buddy and I were here for fish and chips. MImi's version set us back $13.99. A tad steep at lunch, but we bit the bullet and hoped for the best. Four pieces of fried fish atop french fries arrived snuggled next to a cup of cole slaw. Here's where I will whine: As is usual, someone other than our server brought our food, which arrived without tartar sauce. Fish without tartar sauce!?!? No, this will never do! Our server comes by and is immediately dispatched for tartar sauce.... and ketchup. We cross our arms in defiance until the condiments arrive. How to eat fish and chips: gently squeeze the lemon wedge over your piece of fish being sure to preserve enough for all four pieces, break off a piece, dunk it in the tinged-with-horseradish-slightly-sweet tartar sauce and wash it down with some fries. Cool down your now burned mouth with some of the coleslaw. Finish your second piece and ask for more tartar sauce. Mimi's fish and chips was not bad. It was hot (but nearly ran the risk of getting cold while we waited for tartar sauce - which took a while to arrive), crispy and came with plenty of fries and decent coleslaw. Thumbs up for the fish and chips, but I suspect that's where any kudos from me end. I overheard another patron complaining. Let's just say the words "soggy and yucky" are not words you want to hear in a restaurant. Until I reach my goal of being elderly, I'd probably only go back for the fish and chips and not be too interested in trying anything else.

Wonderful dining experience. Had a gift card. Our server Sheree treated us like we were in her home....made suggestions as to how to order once she knew what menu items were of interest...she suggested we split a salad and enjoy their very authentic French Onion Soup! Muffins are fresh baked....what a lovely bread basked too! And, Sheree was kind enough to send us home with a box of complimentary fresh baked muffins. A lovely lunch and we will be back!

Pumpkin spice pancakes with eggs over medium, bacon, and coffee. This restaurant always seems to be understaffed. Because there were so many cars in the parking lot and people walking into the restaurant, I chose to eat at the counter rather than wait to be seated. Turns out the "bartender" waits on the counter, and she was very busy. The food was fine although I don't like powdered sugar sprinkled on anything, and there was powdered sugar on the pancakes, which didn't come with butter so that I had to ask for some.

Well, what do I say about Mimi's? Years ago, they were focused on making a lot of French-inspired and traditional French dishes. Now, it's like a mish mash of any food they think might be good enough for their very specific clientele. Now don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with elderly people. I'm happy they have a restaurant to go to that they enjoy. But it seems like they're the only ones who must enjoy Mimi's Cafe. The food is bland, it's clunky, it's "frozen fresh", and it's just not that great. There's really no dish that is worth going there for, in my opinion. The restaurant itself is disgusting. It's filthy. The place stinks, probably largely due to the ratty, old, stained carpeting that they don't feel the need to replace. So many ceiling tiles are water stained, broken, or just missing. The tables were a little sticky, and the sugar dishes weren't the cleanest. The service is just ok, but not great. The place is never busy, so I'm not sure why they can't be a little more attentive. Overall, Mimi's is edible, but not really worth going to unless you're starving and every other restaurant is closed or something. And in that case, if Denny's is still open, I'd go there first.

Completely ignored by the staff we wound up walking out after our order languished for 45 minutes. Two omelets do not take 45 minutes to prepare. Mind you the place was not busy in any way.

Could be better. Our waiter was not concerned about us. The only time we saw him was when we ordered our drinks, our food, and to pay our bill. Someone else brought out the food. The foods wasn't worth the price. The dish I ordered was like $13 but I felt ripped off with that price. Also the drinks were overpriced as well; $5 dollars for a bottled beer.

I am allergic to pepper (all kinds) and like The Cheesecake Factory everything is shipped mixed and then the restaurant follows measurements. They could not offer me anything! Mimi's is owned by a Cajun Restaurant chain. The service was horrible-the waitress told us her sob story of hoe she does not make enough as a teacher in TUSD and has to have a 2nd job, she's tired and they keep cutting everybody's hours in response to Obamacare. The manager even came and spoke to us..the other adult found hair in her food. No picking up the tab or any incentive for the 4 us to ever come back!

Everytime I've eaten at Mimi's it's been a good experience. Today I tried the albacore tuna sandwich on a buttered baguette with French fries (which were a little cooled off and tough...bummer) and apple crisp dessert all for $9.99. Unlike Claim Jumper, the portions are reasonable in size and very tasty. It's a nice, quiet, clean place to enjoy a variety of comfort food offered by friendly servers. I will definitely come here again.

Went there because we had a gift card. I rather have spent money elsewhere. Service was slow, we were 2 of 6 people there. The cornedbeef hash was 80% shredded onions.

I don't eat at Mimi's often. In fact I've only had Mimi's twice before trying this location. The second time I had Mimi's was in Cali. It was a busy location and very lively there. I had their chicken pot pie and loved it! So of course when I had my recent craving for pot pie, I decided to try a Mimi's here in Tucson. My husband and I had dinner here one Saturday night and it was EMPTY. We were one of two parties there. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter was great. Very polite and very friendly. No complaints there. I ordered the pot pie and my husband ordered the brioche bacon & egg cheeseburger. Even with the place more than half empty, our meals took a surprisingly long time to come out of the kitchen. When it arrived, my first thought was that the crust looked different. But I only had it once before so maybe I remembered it wrong. So I peeled the crust back to start on the filling. I was disappointed. It wasn't as great as the last one I had. In fact it was a little too salty for me. But that wasn't even my biggest problem. When I got around to getting a piece of the crust, I noticed I couldn't break a small piece off with my spoon. I didn't think much of it and just ripped a piece off with my fingers and popped it into my mouth. As I was chewing, there was a smaller piece that I couldn't break down. So I spit it out and made a comment to my husband that it was like chewing on paper. So I ripped off another piece of crust and this time, it actually made a paper ripping sound. So I tried to break it apart between my fingers and noticed most of it broke apart while the outermost layer stayed intact. With a closer look, I soon realized they baked the crust with the wax/parchment paper still on it. My appetite was gone. I told our waiter and they took back my plate and took it off of our bill. I would've been more upset if our waiter wasn't so great. But anyway, my husband enjoyed his meal. So it wasn't all bad.

I've always been a fan of Mimi's despite of a few bad experiences such as the time my love and I went for dinner and they couldn't serve us because the chef had literally just quit and their manager was going to be cooking and he was limited as to what he could cook! Yesterday I had lunch and my love had breakfast. I ordered a cup of French onion soup and their specialty strawberry, blue cheese and walnut salad. Soup was delicious and the salad was good despite the over abundance of cranberries and walnuts. My love had the corned beef hash and a waffle. He loved the hash but has had better waffles. Service was very good. We'll be back.

My wife and I live near this location, she convinced me to go here the other day for dinner. The atmosphere is pleasant, the store was clean and the food was hot and fresh! I still don't think I would choose this place out on my own but that is why we have significant others to help guide us in deciding "where's for dinner?"

So, today was a free day and we decided to go to a matinee and have a late lunch. We chose Mimi's and sorry to say, but it was the wrong choice. I was so disappointed with so many things that I don't even know where to start. We were greeted by a young man shortly after we walked in and asked for a table. He proceeded to tell us that he didn't know if there was a table available because they were getting full--it was 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon--there were hardly any people in the place! So without hesitation, he takes us into one of the dining areas, which was more that 1/2 empty and seats us at a table that was crowded between 2 occupied tables. He put the menus on the table and walked away. We were not happy with that table and since there were other tables available, we called him back and asked if we could sit at a table a few spaces away. He should have asked if the table was okay in the 1st place. It was about 10 minutes later when someone offered to get us a beverage and then another 10 minutes before a waitress came to take our order. It turns out that there was only 1 waitperson to handle the entire place until the next shift came on. Luckily, a waitress came in early and things picked up a bit. We ordered our meals, mahi mahi tacos and blue cheese and walnut salad. The waitress then asked what side we would like with the tacos--coleslaw or french fries??? That was kinda strange and she realized that she did not know what sides were offered (probably after seeing our perplexed faces) and said that she would go check. She returned after a few minutes and said that it came with beans and she couldn't remember what else. My salad came with a muffin and she proudly asked what kind I would like and recited the different flavors. As we waited to be served our meal--it took about 30 minutes--I noticed that the interior looked very dingy, dusty and needed a good cleaning. I also noticed that at 54, I was the youngest patron in the place, oh my! Our meals finally came......my salad (I ordered the small size) was humongous, it looked good and would have tasted great if the greens would have been fresh/crisp and not starting to wilt. The tacos (2) were small in size and disappointing. They did come with a small pot of black beans, which were okay. The best part of our experience was the beverages. We had iced tea and lemonade--no big deal, however, they made sure we always had a fresh drink and never let us run dry. I think it is time to re-think Mimi's :(

Had dinner at Mimi's Cafe on Wilmot tonight with my husband, son, daughter-in-law and three grandkids. Needless to say that we were a decent crowd. The waitress was attentive and kept checking back with us. The food was predictably good. Everyone found something they liked on the menu. They have a decent Fit menu with entrees under 500 calories on it. We had a 20% off coupon. You can get on their email list and receive deals. We go about once a month to Mimi's and will continue to eat there.

I am visiting Tucson and my friend brought me here for breakfast the morning I arrived. We both ordered french toast plates. I had the Mixed Berry Pain Perdu - stuffed French toast with bacon and eggs. The food was excellent, the filling was sweet enough with out being over powering. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous and even though the restaurant was busy being a Sunday morning we were not left waiting for service. The restaurant is very clean and attractive. I get the feel of a French bistro. We went back a second time to eat here and the food and service was just as good. This time was the middle of week.

I'm having hard time describing the service I received at Mimi's. I guess because it really wasn't service. It was the most rushed experience I've ever had. The server came to the table and without saying hello, asked us for the drink order. Brought our drinks, took our food order. Came back refilled my drink. Came to apologize for the long wait for the food. Brought our food and left. Now, I'm a super fast eater! I can eat most meals in under 5 minutes. I hate that about me, and you're probably wondering what this has to do with the awful service, well I had eaten ONE of the TWO tacos that came with my meal, which translates to about 2 minutes after receiving my food. AND THE SERVER BROUGHT ME THE CHECK!!!!!!!! Why do some servers do this? It wasn't lunch during a weekday. It was lazy sunday at 2:00pm. I had 2 kids with me, that had barely touched their food. I had fish tacos, and I was presented with the check, yet I wasn't asked if our meals were good. Or if I cared for some lemon with my tacos and shouldn't you serve fish tacos with lemon anyways. They sure could have used some. The check, presented to me when I still have plates full of food, is a major NO-NO! Did I mention I paid an extra dollar for a cup of soup that I never got, and that while my kids were still eating their food, I was asked if I was ready to pay... well I wasn't but I did mention about my soup and asked to have the extra dollar adjusted... I was told the extra dollar was for my drink. I like Mimi's even though it's a chain, I can generally get a decent meal here.

Myself and a friend went to breakfast at mimi's today. Very disappointed. If we did not have mimosas we would have got up and left. The eggs Benedict had a broken and flavorless hollandaise, the ham underneath was 1/2 inch thick, fatty and gross. I had two bites. My friend had the country fried steak, which we were told was hand breaded, but after tasting the super salty tendony steak, it either came from a box or they suck making chicken fried steak. Worse was that it took 1/2 hour to get our breakfast, and during that time we noticed the dirty nature of their dining room. If children come and eat, you must clean the floor. Dirty napkins, cheerios and other crap on the floor are disgusting. People complained to the manager and she did nothing. The rest of the staff was kind, if poorly managed, and the mimosas were pretty good. A short three mile drive will get you to Le Buzz. The food there is outstanding!

This particular location of the chain restaurant is superior to the rest. Mimi's is an eclectic mix of cafe, family comfort, and elderly couples retreat for weekly date nights style restaurant. Friendly and prompt service. Complimentary bread is a basket of variety. Everything you come to love and expect from a chain. Only complaint is that there are zero-one choices for a vegetarian and only an additional one or two for a pescatarian such as myself. 3.5 stars

mimi's needs a redeaux. my last roast beef was tasteless, dry. and without imagination. On my last visit the turkey was drowning in gravy that could not redeem the sad supermarket turkey lurking beneath the surface. I often long for the old french onion soup they used to offer but alas, the current incarnation is a disapointment.

I went here with a group of 7 women after seeing an early bird movie at Park Place Mall. First of all, don't go there with a large group. They seemed extremely confused on how to seat more than 2 people. MiMi's is known for it's brunch but they pretty much stop that after noon. Luckily they did have some select items after noon, so my friend who was craving breakfast was pleased. I ordered a salad which comes with a muffin. They wouldn't substitute the muffin for anything non-bread so I got the muffin for my mom. I ordered the cobb salad which wasn't anything fancy. Everyone seemed to be pleased with their meals but it's definitely not going to be my top pick for a brunch place ever again.

This place has degraded over time. Mimi's used to be a great place to eat. This isn't the case now. The portions have shrunk. However, the food has grown more greasy.

Like my friend Pam said...Mimi's was okay. It took at least 15 minutes for them to put together a table for 7 (and it wasn't even busy). I was surprised they wouldn't sub her muffin for fruit (or anything gluten-free). I was happy I did get to order the cinnamon roll brioche french toast that I was craving, and it was actually pretty good. The coffee was also good....although it was quite a while before we got our food. Overall, it was a decent visit but I don't know if I'll ever be back.

I love Mimi's so it really breaks my heart to review this location. The experience was just so . . . eh. Nothing special. Nothing delicious. It was raining hard on Saturday night and I like to fool myself into thinking that I live some place cold and stormy (humor me). At these times I love to either make soup at home or go to places with good comfort food. We were around the area and decided to stop by. I couldn't think of a better place. I immediately knew I wanted a pot pie. Hmmm . . . . all nice and warm and comforting; yum! I asked for it and they were out of pot pie. My husband asked for some chicken plate with mashed potatoes (which I had my mind set on sharing) Wrong again, there were no mashed potatoes. The waitress was nice enough about it but we all ended up with things we only had lukewarm feelings towards. We'd ordered fruit as my son's side dish and they brought him fries instead. They apologized and brought out the fruit telling us he could have both, but they were just wasted. My son is an odd kid that would much rather have fresh fruit or veggies instead of fries. I'm not complaining . . . We left feeling blah. To top it off, I got an upset stomach that night. Double blah. No, Mimi's, no . . . . I love you, don't do this to me. You're not the same Mimi's I fell in love with. Please go back to the way you were . . . .

Went there for lunch with the family. Most dishes are around $10, for which you get a halfway decent snack. My butternut squash and scallop ravioli turned out to be three raviolis with one scallop and a LOAD of tomato cream that tasted like unflavored jello. Normal portions and "just right for lunch" portions are indeed just right ... if you're my 92 year old grandmother who's full after three ounces of salmon and half a tomato. EDIT: this place truly sucks.

This Place used to Rock the Boat in a Good Way However Now the Boat just kinda dangles and I got off !! Mimi's was really good a couple a years back but Something kinda Like "We Don't Give A Shit" came to work there and Now it Sucks and Blows !! I always got the Chicken Parm and it was so good I wanted to Dance on the Ceiling , you got Bread , Soup and your meal for 9.99. Now in this sucky economy they jacked the price, took away the bread and soup and started charging for both, Not such a good idea if you want Customers !! The Chicken Parm alone is now 12.99, 2 chicken breasts and a load of spagetti with sauce is Not worth 12.99 to my cheap ass !! I can make better at home and have some for tomorrow too. Sorry Mimi's, Get back to Basics and let me know when you come to your senses and Mabe Just mabe after a Phone Call letting me know you wont rip me off to the Tune of 38.00 for 2 meals, I will think about visiting again !! Until then "Asta La CACA" !!

Very disappointing, do not come here! The building was super nice and the decor but the service and the price was horrendous. Our waitress told my husband, "no your not going to order that, we are out." She also didn't ask me if I was going to order something, she just assumed I wasn't. She wouldn't wait for me to respond when she asked questions. I wanted to speak to he supervisor, she was so bad. Paula was her name btw. The price was also too much. Go to Denny's.

Always a pleasure. Excellent steak and eggs and of coarse the muffins with breakfast. The atmosphere is positive and lightens your day!

Went for breakfast with my husband. We ordered a traditional and corn beef hash- the potatoes were awful, the manager said he knows and was sorry. The muffin was good and coffee fair tasting but when we complained to the hostess and manager and he said he was aware of the lousy potatoes I think you have a serious problem. I paid $27 for something he knows was bad! My wonder it was empty!

The food was very good, the service was outstanding and the place was very charming! We loved it!!!
(5)Janie S.

Me and my fiancé went here to eat. We usually judge a place by how good their tea is, and how the staff treats us. Unless the food is total junk I'm usually pretty happy with it. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken. It was delicious. Lots of pepper, olives, and the leaves were fresh. My fiancé ordered the hickory bacon cheddar burger and asked for it to be as rare as they could get it. True blue rare is what we got, and it put a smile on his face. It was also very delicious. Let me say the waiter really made it for us. Unfortunately we didn't catch his name. He had the courtesy to tell us the appetizer plate was hot as hell, and that description was spot on. I appreciate a waiter that isn't afraid to use some softcore 'bad' language...especially when so many servers are 100% customer service and lack a personality. This guy was booming with it, and it was refreshing. I felt bad that he had tripped on a carpet. But he was okay. So if anyone can identify this waiter, he was amazing and shows that not all workers are robots. All in all I loved it. Similar to Olive Garden, way better menu. Similar pricing. The manager made sure to say hello. And might I add I enjoyed this place a lot because the local crowd seems to be in the older range for age. We were the youngest group there, and we're in our mid twenties. It wasn't awkward like a lot of other places we go, like IHOP. I will most defiantly be returning. :D

I'm from Minnesota, where the term "Minnesota nice" is a real thing. This was a terrible choice for my visit to Tucson. We were seated immediately and given two menus to look at (there were four of us), after about 15 minutes and no sign of our server, we start to become concerned that we were forgotten about. After minute 20, she finally shows up and seems shocked that we are ready to order our food instead of the usual round of drinks to start things off. Right off the bat we have to ask for new silverware, because of some yellow crusty stuff stuck to two of the sets. We were brought more dirty silverware and just decide to steal from the surrounding tables to try and find clean (looking) ones. We were brought our drinks and the server flitted off and didn't return until another 40 minutes had gone by. When she returned, with no food in hand, she apologized for the wait and said that they were really backed up in the kitchen. At this point, I look around to see mostly empty tables. Five minutes later, our food arrives, and was brought by someone who was not our server. She asks us if we need anything else and wishes us "bonjour!". We look at each other and hope that she meant "Bon appetit". I got the mini strawberry waffles... On a sticky dirty plate. Does anyone in this place check these things? My fiancé got a BLT consisting of the butts of the tomatoes, very little bacon and soggy iceberg lettuce. Very disappointing. The manager blamed the servers inexperience, but clearly there are more problems than he was willing to admit to. He said he would take my fiancés meal off the tab, and we felt better. After not getting our check, we have to track down the server and she prints the check without taking the BLT off, we have to track down the manager so he could print a new bill, for some reason that took him ten minutes (again, making excuses that it was really busy). It was still over fifty dollars for three meals! The decor was outdated "French vineyard" style. And the servers wore a nice black and white uniform but it's clearly a facade. Over priced and shoddy in every way, do not go here.

(2)Hugo M.
Completely ignored by the staff we wound up walking out after our order languished for 45 minutes. Two omelets do not take 45 minutes to prepare. Mind you the place was not busy in any way.
(1)Grant C.
(2)G. Aubrey P.
(1)Peg P.
(4)Ben D.
Went there because we had a gift card. I rather have spent money elsewhere. Service was slow, we were 2 of 6 people there. The cornedbeef hash was 80% shredded onions.

Always great & timely service! Fresh muffin, salad, & OJ! Nice decor inside. Sign up for their online newsletter and get a free breakfast entree when you order a breakfast entree.

(2)Sarah F.
The coffee and pastries were really good, but it's really overpriced for what you actually get. I would not recommend going to this establishment for more than a quick breakfast.
(3)Rebecca F.

(4)Sue P.

Decent breakfast location. Pancakes "ok" Hot chocolate "ok " Carrot cake "ok" Not the place you go to be awestruck but it works at 8am after 3 hours in Sabino Canyon

Worse meal I ever had of Salmon! Had to send it back. It was dry and tasted old. Didn't even chance ordering anything else. Stay away. I hear the one on Oracle is better, but I'm hesitant to try it.
