Drink much? Call in Wednesday and come here on a Tuesday, you'll thank me later. It's one dollar EVERYTHING on Tuesdays when you buy a wristband (5 dollars before 10, 10 dollars after) making it possibly the best day of the week if you're a drinker or ever just wanted to try out some new things. Have you ever shopped at a liquor store just wondering what something tastes like but not wanting to drop all the cash to find out? Well now you can and then some. For a dollar you can try that scotch, make that cocktail, or try anything you ever want it's basically the closest thing you can find to an open bar. Just want to get sloshed with no regard to taste? Get the long islands here they pour them out into beer pint glasses. After two you're a rockstar. Now if you care about atmosphere this is not the place. It's hardly ever rocking even on these fabled Tuesdays. Every star I gave it is for Tuesdays. It is nice though how they never charge cover on the six other days of the week.

The wristband nights are not bad and its cheap. Went on a friday night around 10:30 yet but it still took 20 minutes to get our first round. I won't be back during the weekends. Once a bartender finally came around she was very nice and attentive to us- but her AMFs were very weak.

I hate this place. I have a friend who loves it but he doesn't have to deal with gross men rubbing up against him on the dance floor and then have the bouncers do nothing about it. If your a chick, don't go alone. Their waitstaff were hired for their looks not their work ethnic, told a guy I saw glass on the floor and for 15 min he did nothing but sit around and yak with his friends.

Curious as to why this place shows only one dollar sign. The prices here are crazy high. The last time I went which was less than a month ago, the girls bathroom looked like a hurricane went through it, the pool tables were so nasty and some sticks were broken in half! They over charge you for drinks but what are they actually using that money for?? Not fixing anything in that place, that's for sure. Place has really gone down hill..

Such an awesome place for drinks and food. Angel is such an amazing bartender and manager. Very friendly environment and highly recommend this place. A nice craft brew and some decent, well priced eats.

I wish Yelp would let me leave a shorter review, because this place is cut & dry; solid bar, & cordial bartenders. One room is a quiter bar, a lot of seating, casino-style bar, wide booze variety, & the background music is solid. The other room has a true SouthWest vibe, friendly bartender, but it limited on booze; the beer comes out of a cooler, so it's best to get them in the room next door; this side is better for quick shots, &domestics. The place is generally dead, but it's always a good time; just be sure to go w/ people you like, & know what you feel like drinking.

I've always had issues with this place. Its way over priced, the service isn't great, the place is a dump. The pool tables are always missing balls and broken pool sticks. My sister got a soda there once because she was my dd and paid the same amount for her drink as mine which heat alcohol in it. It's rediculous. They need free sodas on weekends to prevent drunk driving like most bars do. I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you have money to blow and don't care. Most of the people that go in there are college kids who don't normally have much money. It's terrible how they run their establishment.

I have been to Maloney's a few times now and every time, the same. Even on a dead night (with about eight people in the whole place) expect to wait 10-20 minutes for a drink. It's not clear what the bartenders are doing but I watched three guys circulating and cleaning (barbacks most likely) and one bartender slowly making one drink at a time. My friend and I spent 10 minutes waiting for the first drink, paid $6 each for a draft beer, and then had to wait 15 minutes to close our tabs. And it wasn't even busy! Most bartenders could run circles around these girls... They are just painfully slow and not that friendly. The atmosphere is ok-dark with random music selections but plenty of booths. What really irked me is that if you open a tab here, Maloney's holds $30 from your bank account for 7-10 days. So, if you end up only having a drink or two, the bar ends up holding funds from your account which you didn't authorize. They don't even have a sign up explaining this policy so I had to call several times about this issue to figure out why my $6 beer resulted in a $30 charge. Not impressed at all. If you do come, hit up their Tuesday night specials and bring cash.

Longest wait to get a drink of any bar in Tucson. It's insane. Even when it's not super packed it's still slow sometimes. Also, they usually play 90s/00s pop rock, which I don't really enjoy listening to while drinking. I'm giving it 2 stars though because I once went on a Thursday; the DJ played everything we requested and the bartenders even joined in for a cupid shuffle... That was kind of fun. Mainly the wait time for drinks sucks.

This is my go to bar. The place is big and they have an outside area which is nice too. The best thing is that it's connected to the Wreck so you get two bar experiences in one. Tuesday nights are really popular because it is wristband night. You buy a $10 wristband and get $2 drinks all night. It's definitely worth it. The only problem is that you have to buy the wristband to get in the door. There are photos of all the famous people who have come there which is pretty cool. The music is pretty good too. I recommend this place for sure...but beware it's for sure a college bar.

We went on a Monday night so it was expected to be dead. Which was great, our bartender was friendly and we got to enjoy a couple of beers and games of pool! Never have I had a bad experience here

My DDD Crew and I walked through the doors of Maloney's on Fourth into a deserted and dark establishment. Not one single solitary soul other than 2 bartenders. All the TVs were on and music was blaring. Felt very Twilight Zone-ish. Whatever, we weren't there to mingle just enjoy each others company. Nice selection of beer on tap but what we ordered was just average, especially the beer sampler. My girl A ordered it and really only enjoyed 2 of the 4. K just wanted a Coors Light but they were out. Her next selection, yep - out of that too. She finally settled on a Stella but when the bartender brought it out he also brought her a glass of the bottom of the keg Coors Light. Flat and gross. I know he was just trying to accomodate her but it was nasty. The bartender did come up with some kind of delicous drink for S. It was blue and fruity with watermelon pucker in the bottom. She loved it. Had to leave after one drink though. Just too weird being in that deserted, dark place. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.

The only good thing about this place was the dancing (but that was probably less to do with the place and more to do with the people I went with). The music seemed to be stuck on a decade ago. Prices for drinks are stupidly expensive, averaging $8 for what we ordered. Shots are tiny and mixed drinks dilute and skimpy on alcohol. I definitely came in more buzzed than I left and I was drinking something the entire time. The guys here were extra-creepy as well, and I probably won't be back.

Bar is pretty cool. Next time please do better with your cash handling. Joe was helpful explaining the situation with my bank card and rectified the problem accordingly.

If you are going to have a good time at Maloney's, you need to pick the right night and you need to know what you're in for. I've been there on dead nights, where we were the only patrons, and I've been there when it was standing room only. If you want the former, head there on an early weeknight. If you want the latter, later on the weekends. The set-up is actually pretty nice. I like walking in to what feels like an almost old-school Chicago style bar. The bar is beautiful and right dead center in the place. They also have a great open room with a DJ that is fun for dancing. And they have a outdoor patio for smokers and to catch some fresh breeze. The service is pretty solid. Even when it's been busy, I haven't had to wait too long to get a drink. Drink prices are pretty reasonable, especially when they do the $5 wristbands. The crowd here is the one turn off for me. Some nights it's just too wannabe pretentious. I'll usually take a spin around before ordering a drink. If it feels fun, it usually is. If it feels stuffy, I move on. If you're with a group and looking to party hard, Maloney's is a good bet!

So my recent experience wasn't terrible. I ordered a Colorado bull dog, and whatever the cheapest beer was, So like you would think that beer cost 4 bucks, but that other drink cost me 10 dollars, and I didn't want to look cheap so i just payed and am just guessing there. Ive lived in SF and a CBD never cost that much. Two other things, my CBD was missing the coke, and had a salted rim. The atmosphere was uncomfortably dark, the strobe and lights were seizure inducing and the color pallet of the light gels themselves were harsh on the eyes. It was like a pink, yellow and blue flurry. So that was rough. + The outside area was nice with heat lamps and the bar out there looked very clean. The inside bar looked very well set up and like thought had gone into it. My drink order was filled quickly. There was a stripper pole inside on which some ladies were trying to do some dancing, but it looked like an uphill effort. The music was all over the place and it was hard to find a rhythm. The style of attendance was not diverse, this place has definitely locked in a type of patronage that seems self defeating. Like myself they are probably looking to make a hot connection on a wild night out, but the female numbers, and atmosphere are not in our favor. Gender balance non existent, and there's an aura of insecurity, not ego mind you like real harm to body here. That is probably just from the sordid past. I will have to keep giving this place a chance but I'm still not impressed. Maybe a dress code night could bring in something positive. Its worked at other places in similar circumstances.

I like Maloney's for one thing, the ability to dance without being sardined. On weekends it never gets too packed to have a nice space to dance off of the main dance floor. After that, it's all down hill. The bouncers have attitudes, the servers are generally not very good (i.e. you can stand at an almost empty bar and the girls will stand there doing god knows what while the one guy actually works), and the drinks are crazy expensive, though not consistent in their pricing. Maloney's is not a destination, it's a place you end up for a brief interlude to dance. Definitely drink before you get there.

$10 wrist band night for $1 drinks. Count me in. You will save a bit of money if you like to drink top shelf. The night life picks up slowly and the bar tenders are fast and do remember quite a bit. I will return.

This review is based on many many visits to Maloneys, most of which were always fine. However, the last time I visited (and I plan to never return) Maloneys really blew it for me. My friend and I went in and ordered a Budweiser each. Not exactly high brow drinking, but it sounded good and it was on tap. We figured on tape Bud would be cheap. Thankfully we only had the beer each, because our tab was rather shocking. Ready for this? Two Budweisers (just plain Budweisers, mind you) came out to $11.00 exactly. Excuse me? I asked if it was some kind of exotic, imported Budweiser. The waitress said it was not. I commented that at these prices we could go buy a six-pack of Bud for the cost of one glass. And forget that, we could go spend $10 at the Shanty and get a couple of nice imported English ales. Seriously, Maloneys, $11? I'm sure happy hour is a real steal, maybe the Buds go down to $3 each! Wow! Makes me think of the joke: A horse walks into a bar. The bartender says "We don't get many of your kind in here." The horse replies: "At these prices, I can see why."

  • Kirsty M.

We Walked up to the bouncer outside and he sends a friend and myself to the other bouncer who says that he just received a radio call about us. He then proceeded to tell us we would not be able to go in because we have tattoos. When asked what he meant he replied that gang bangers have tattoos and we would not be allowed in. Tattoo discrimination??

Worst bar in Tucson. Horrible security, poor management and their drink deals are not worth the bullshit involved in simply getting in. Do not ever come to this bar, go to Dirtbag's.

  • Aishan S.

Not my cup of tea. This place was simply obnoxious. Drinks were ungodly expensive --$8 each-- and completely weak. Nothing but mixes and juices, and what's with the shots here? I expect an entire shot glass full of liquid, not only a third of it full. Way to be skimpy. The only decent thing about this place is the dance floor, but the music was random, guys are creepy, and the service isn't great. Apparently drinks are $2 on Tuesdays, but there is likely a cover.

  • Valarie A.

Was on a pub/club crawl not terribly long ago in downtown and 4th ave and this was by far the least impressive place we stopped. The drinks we got were small and they didn't tell us till they were made that they were $10 each! Yowza. We ordered the same drink from IBT's for less than half that price. The milieu is generic and unimpressive although they have a nice large dance floor.

This has two stars for a good reason I had fish and chips which was good but when I asked if they could put the football game ob it was Thursday nigth the girl bartender said she would ask the manager after 15min I ask a different bartender told same thing but the game never came on if you want to wach games and drink beer don't go there.

I'm gone to Maloney's twice two times now and have never had a problem with the bartenders or the crowd. I've never seen it be a sausage fest. In fact, the times that I've gone I think there were about 55-60% girls there. Many times there were groups of girls that had no guys with them. Maybe it just depends on the night - I've gone on a Saturday and Thanksgiving Day. I've never had a problem with the bartending either. But then again, I'm used to Scottsdale bartenders. The only complaint I had was that the bar was mad busy by the dance floor (to be expected). I kind of see the place as three areas - main dance room, lounge-bar, and outdoor patio area. The main room has dance music and the lounge (when I was there) was playing country. Kind of interesting. Then of course the patio with whatever music you were in earshot of. As for overcharged credit cards... I never saw this either. But then again, I normally pay in cash so that I don't forget my card. My friend didn't see it either. I hope the rumors of people getting sexually harassed are isolated cases or rumors. That shit is horrible. I think the bottom line here is that Maloney's is a college bar, not an upscale Vegas bar. Some of the negative reviews make me think that people haven't been to many clubs in their life. Are there going to be horny guys here? Of course! What bar, club, or Wal-Mart doesn't have horny guys in it? Combine that with college town, college bar, and that horniness is going to come out more. If you don't want that, then stay off Congress and 4th.

I do really enjoy this place every time I visit. I think it is the best bar on the 4th avenue. the con of this place that the drinks were really expensive and ripped off. But it makes sense that Maloney's on 4th is pretty big and they need some profits to make and pay off the lease.

B!tch Bartenders WTF please read especially if you are management at Maloneys. Me asking bartender: "can you please break my $5" Her: "yea" ....15 minutes later Me: "would you mind breaking my 5" Her: "with that f*cking attitude you ain't getting shit around here." Whoa wait wtf I'm just trying to be a customer at your bar and give you guys money. I don't need b!tches with all sorts of f*cked up daddy issues to try to get into my face over nothing. There was only like 10 ppl in the bar anyway, I wonder why? What am I supposed to do in that situation get in a yelling match with the bartender while I'm out with my friends? Call her a C*nt what? I don't like showing up at a bar and having to worry about how I need to punk a dumb@ss b!tch bartender for being a rude disrespectful pos. Are you guys trying to provoke your customers into assault charges wtf. F u guys I will not be coming back. Myself and my friends will be sticking to Omallys and I recommend anyone who reads this to save your time and money and go to Omallys or any other bar. Also this is a great bar to go to if you want the creepy middle aged regulars (who look just like ex cons) to stare you down and try to say what's up to your girl because there are no girls in this bar. Again I'm not trying to get assault charges when I'm out because that just f*cks everyone's night. So instead of being stupid I thought I would just share the word about this pos and hopefully save time and money for the rest of you.

This bar is the worst of the worst when it comes to making customers feel like they don't belong there long story short i went to bar on wensday and then i went back thursday night bouncer tells me i can t enter i asked why? he told me because of a neck tattoo i have it says my wife's name i asked "isn't that discrimination?" he said no because i wasn't born with tattoo so my response was neither a gay man but you have the right to pick who goes in ? so if your ugly or fat or plain out someone who they dont want in there then watch out ATTENTION ALL RAPPERS VISITING TUCSON IF YOU HAVE A TATTOOS DONT GO TO THIS BAR !!!!!!!!

This place was vile. I went there with two friends and my boyfriend after someone's going away party at Kon Tiki. The four of us decided to head over to 4th and there was a line out the door to get in to this place. I have no idea why as we were some of the lucky ones to have gotten in on that Saturday night. It was way too packed and hot and made me feel sweaty. I had to take my friend, who was noticebly drunk and un-go-alone-able to the bathroom which was just nasty. There was tissue paper and water all over the floor and a bunch of drunk girls trying to start arguments (with us?, each other, the trashcan--its hard to tell as all of them probably had been well over the legal blood alcohol limit). While in the bathroom, apparently some a-hole came up to my boyfriend and asked if he liked girls. Yes, wtf? He then asked if he was Mexican or white and then proceeded to show him how to "make it" around the Mexicans (my boyfriend's half Mexican, by the way). I know he was drunk, and probably a stupid person when sober as well, but this was just awful. The music was way too loud and the decor was cheesy. I wanted out of there as quickly as we'd been lucky enough to have gotten in. Yuck.

Horrible, Horrible service. I think my 11 year old could have waited on us faster. We ordered hamburger's and a couple beers. The waitress brought us draft beer even though we ordered bottles. She was very put out that we did not want the draft beer. When we finally were served our beers they were warm. The hamburger's were good, but the waitress really seemed like we were bothering her by even coming in. This was our first and last visit to Maloney's. i would rather eat a hot dog from the buffet and that is not saying much.

It's nothing but frat boys and jezebels. This place should have been aborted. It is a black hole, a cancer, filled with shallow and idiotic men and women. (little boys and girls spending their parents' money) Fights break out, arrests are made, and cops are there every Thursday. Don't go there.

    (1)
  • Denise V.

Great atmosphere, day or night. Food is ok, great for post beer and shots. Prices not so reasonable. Diverse crowd, not just college, but 20, 30 and 40 somethings. Staff may make more tips if they were more attentive

  • Dustin B.

If you like bars that are filled with idiots and dumbass bartenders, then you're at the right place! Be sure to bring a fat wad of cash and plunk a holey moley amount of moola on craply made drinks that are weaker than kool-aid for 7 year old ugly brats who know better.

    (1)
  • Andy H.

No! Hell no! This is basically an Applebee's location on 4th without food. Cheesy, stupid interior, way too many people you don't want to come in contact with. It's huge and the dance floor is only about the size of a small bedroom and shoved way in the back corner. Weak, weak drinks. Exceptionally awful place to hang out. Irritating.

    (1)
  • Jessica S.

Coming back to Maloney's a decade after college probably wasn't the best idea. I've never felt so old in my life! It's a great for the younger crowd though. Music bumping, lights flashing, drinks flowing, fist pumping, etc - you get the idea. Note: They recently closed half of Maloney's for a new country bar called "The Wreck" right next door.

    (3)
  • Cody W.

Screw this joint, unless you drive a bro-dozer. Takes you forever to get a drink while crawling over tons of people just to get to the bar. The patrons ruin this place, to many bad attitudes and stupid people. Take the other reviews to heart, avoid this place like a hooker with rabies.

My review will be based on my experiences on Football Sundays rather than their night time operations. My friends and I use to go to Maloney's every Sunday for Football but have stopped this season. I feel that the overall service from the staff has come down drastically and that whomever is in charge of the TVs lacks knowledge for their position. I cant count how many times I was in the middle of watching a particular game, just to have the TV changed to another game. This is very frustrating. With all the TV they have, I don't understand how they cant get this done correctly. Food wise, they have a OK deal w/ the $5 menu, but the quality of food isn't worth $5. Three sliders for $5? Two hot dogs for $5. I would say the best value would be the Bottomless French Fries, but they are so salty you can only really do two rounds. The drink special is usually 2 for 1, which is good if you stick with beer. Besides that everything is so expensive that your probably paying what would be fair price for two drinks. Basically, its poor execution that kills this place (haha, you see what I did there). I think once they get the right management and staff on Sundays, this place can be fun to catch a game at again.

Meh is about right! This place is just not for me, period. I went there with friends when I first turned 21 and did the party thing and had an awful experience. I never went back until recently that is, thanks to a friend having a night out there (which I was informed of this decision upon my arrival onto Fourth) and surprise surprise! Awful again. I do not know if it is my face or just that there is too many guy's hanging around, but I have been kicked out both times. I would admit it was me if I had been intoxicated beyond belief and deserved to be escorted out as I am sure we have all seen this happen on a Friday night. However, the first time I just arrived and was using the ATM when I was thrown out. I was told it was because they thought I opened the ATM machine myself! How does that happen! The second time my group was informed that the guys in my party were unruly. Unruly? There was 10 of us and we were, upon guessing, the most people in there because it was only 9pm! Perhaps there is a reason for the second escorting out of Maloney's that I do not know. All I DO know though is that I have a sour taste from this place and really never plan on going back there. As far as alcohol and beer selections go, this place is average and on par with most other places in town. The only good deal, in my opinion, is the scooner's one can get for 3.25 or whatever the price is. I highly, highly recommend on not setting a foot in this establishment. It mostly just sucks. Only my $.02

Maloneys is one of The Boyfriends Favorites, so we usually go here on random weekend's Is a fun college environment, I like going here if i feel like dancing. I also like that there is a patio you can step out on to if you need a breath of fresh air. They have a few booths in the front area and are nice if you get there early enough to gypsy one before the masses arrive. I don't have to tell you that if you aren't into the whole clubbing or shoulder to shoulder people this place isn't going to be for you but i usually have a fun time when we go. Drinks are made quickly and for a great price.

One of the worst bar experiences of my life! Out of spontaneity, a female friend and I drove from Phoenix down to Tucson just to check out the bar scene. Everyone we had spoken to mentioned a handful of bars and Maloney's was one of them. Talk about a major sausage fest!! Of course my friend really didn't see my problem with this, but even she admitted that hardly any of the dudes were even worth looking at. At one point, we were surrounded at the bar by about 15 doucheholes, dressed in golf attire and wearing one golf glove. For real? My other major problem was how unbearably loud the music was. Someone came up with what they thought was a very clever idea: let's pick random 10 minute movie clips, play them so effin loud that you can't hear the person next to you and at the end of the clip, morph it into a song that no one in their right mind wants to hear. Repeat with more shit songs and there you have it. Brilliant, huh? Apparently, Maloney's is also known for having shitty bartenders and high prices. I can confirm this. Although, we only had beer and were not graced with having a simple mixed drink screwed up, their attentiveness sucked big time. They do have a lot of beer taps but with Fat Tire or Guinness being the exceptions, it's all big beer crap (Bud, Coors, Miller, etc.). Despite all this, I don't want my only experience in Tucson to be a poor memory of Maloney's. At some point, I'd like to go back just to see if maybe we hit it up on an off-night (Saturday). Somehow, I doubt it. EDIT: After submitting my review, my friend informed me that her credit card was overcharged by nearly $20. And I cannot help but to think, after our experience, that this is something that commonly happens at Maloney's. My only question is, how many people catch it? I will not be returning here again!

  • Ely P.

Maloney's has a great concept, and the bar atmosphere tries to be nice. However, for some reason, it attracts some really shady people. Maybe it's because of the parking lot...maybe there's something else going on, but I don't know. They might even need more security? This place can be fun, but the bartenders aren't that great even. My friend ordered a martini, and the bartender didn't even put vermouth in it, the martini was nasty! We tried to let the bartender know, and he pretended like we were idiots. My friend drinks martinis regularly, she knows when there' s something wrong with her drink!

  • Sarah N.

Maloney's is such a overhyped college bar. I've been there on multiple occasions and had a relatively bad time. I always end up leaving within an hour of being there because of the fact it's way overcrowded, way overpriced, and waaaay too loud. There are tons of bars on Fourth Ave; I would suggest this as a last resort.

A bar with shelves and shelves of liquor just staring into your alcoholic eyes? A mechanical bull surrounded by air mattresses? A DJ who takes 3/4 requests? Yea, this place is damn A-OK in my book!

k, so i started drinking yesterday at 3 in the afternoon...yup, 3pm. i am now totally disgustingly hungover. it's ugly. trust me...one of those hangovers where you say "I WILL NEVER DRINK AGAIN!" and then don't...for like...a few months. srsly, i wanna be dead right now. BUUUUUUUT, i had a great time at maloneys. except for the fact that, WTF, your kitchen closes at 8?! uh...ppl like to eat when they drink, especially when they have been drinkin for like...6 hours. ally need food. true story, i didn't buy a single drink in this place, cuz even tho i'm married i took my hot single friends out and it was GRRRRRRRREAT. cuz ally is cheap. also, the staff was awesome (shout out to the doormen, yeah, even you, frank!) one of whom was totally willing to part with a mozzarella stick just for me :) awesomeness.

This place seemed like a decent place to have a drink, but I came here to eat on wednesday night at midnight, cause I cant judge too hard. The service kinda sucked, but when we ordered fries for our table, they put like 20 of them on the plate, weak! I ordered the Schmitter which was actually bomb. It would of been 2 stars if the sandwich sucked.

Please God no. A bunch of college bros, and done up girls "getting their drink on". Whether it's girls being pressured into dancing on the pole, or guys showing off their abs riding the mechanical bull without a shirt on everywhere you look you see the result of awkward college peer pressure. This place has no soul, it's just a jumbo money drain who college kids who like to travel in packs.

I really like this bar. It has all the things you hope to see at a bar, Cheap drinks, BEER PONG TOURNAMENT on friday nights. good people a great balcony to hang out on, pool, arcade games, TVs everywhere with sports playing. One of my tops in Tucson, the only reason i dock it 1 star is I have gotten over charged by the waitress when leaving my tab open. If i get reimbursed i will add the star later.

I will never set foot in to this dive again. Waited over an hour and food never arrived. Asked twice for updates on the food status. Lazy bartender promised it would be coming soon. The bartender asked to be paided "cash" up front for the meal. Never heard of that, unless it's fast food. We walked across the parking lot to a much better place that had service. We saw several other patrons do the same. Pros: None Cons: Bad Service, lazy bartender.

This place is a hot chick repellent. The ratio to guy to girl is pretty even; just lots of fugly chicks. The music is terrible. They play music like Dick in a Box followed by Tupac, followed by Foot Loose. The prices are reasonable and the bartenders are friendly.

There's actually a Maloney's in Westwood, CA...and that place is shady! so i thought "oh no...if this is the same place"...well, it WAS the same place, BUT it was better. a LOT bigger too....it's actually a pretty spacious place so you're not elbowing around...they're pretty attentive...didn't have to sit at the table that long to get service...they have a couple of pool tables, so that's fun...music can be a BIT too loud @ times...very close to UofA...and the Marriott that we were staying @...taxis all around...and the crowd is cool...they're not all dicks or bitches or anything...actually pretty polite for being in a bar...and not all smelly or anything like other bars...had the most business compared to other bars...but then, it is summer...definately would go back

Maloney's is the epitome of tucson. Lot of space with tons of locals. You can shoot pool, drink at the bar, go outside for a smoke, and its located near the main strip. I had fun here but definitely will not be back in my lifetime. Another college hangout.

This is the best Maloney's in AZ in my opinion. It's the biggest and for some reason, it's just more fun. The music is always good, they have drink specials and you can count on it to always be packed with college kids and locals. I have tried their food though and wasn't impressed. I had lunch here with a friend and neither of us finished our food. I had a quesadilla and she had a burger. Neither was good. My advice: stick to day drinking and clubbing at Maloney's and grub elsewhere.

Great palce to hang out on 4th to watch sports and such. Very frat/UA orriented. Unfortuantely another reminder tucson is a College town not a young professional town

In my opinion, the best bar to hang out at on Fourth. Much improved since the size expansion. Good drink specials, no cover, fun music, good sized crowd after 11pm or so.
