I went here after church with three other people. The service was outstanding. The food was awesome. Their steaks were delicious. You'll love this place...go and enjoy it. You'll be happy that you went.

I'm a long time Longhorn fan from Ohio, so when I found one here in Tucson, I was kinda excited ( lots of steak places...) All seemed normal except the LONG wait between waitress visits. After our initial order from the lunch menu, we waited over ten minutes for salads... I asked for those and dinnerware. After another ten-fifteen minutes our food came out. My medium fillet came out barely cooked; my partners chicken strawberry salad came out almost cold... No fresh hot chicken there.... The new "fired grilled corn" was a complete joke.... Looked nuked with nada on it! So, with the visit from the manager and no waitress again, all we heard was "sorry." Funny thing, the restaurant was only a quarter filled with customers! ** bad manager. ** If you see the sign, "come in, no wait..." SKIP head down the road to any other steak place!

My husband ordered a medium rare porterhouse steak and I ordered a well done ribeye steak. I received a medium rare ribeye and my husband received a salty well done porterhouse. I also ordered the Mac and Cheese, it was very salty. The only good part of our visit was the waitress Doreen. She was excellent! I would visit again just because of her! In general, the food was not bad but it could have been better.

Great food and great customer service! I was there about 2 weeks ago and had lunch with a friend. It was not crowded and the waitress (I cant remember her name but she was GREAT) was very attentive and very nice. The food was very delicious, exactly as ordered, and there was plenty of it. She helped us with all of our requests and seemed happy and had a good attitude.

It's my birthday today and I decided I wanted a steak for dinner. My wife told the server it was my birthday and the server asked my name snd told me she would 'embarrass me later'. That sounded fun. We asked for the fried green tomatoes appetizer and it was tasty. The tortilla soup was over the top spicy and my wife couldn't finish it since it was way too hot for her. It is not like the light, brothy tortilla soup people in the Southwest are used to. We ordered ribeyes and they were wonderful. Lots of flavor and very tender. We also ordered a hamburger and fries to take home for my son. The first hint things wouldn't be going well was my empty glass. How hard is it to keep a glass of Diet Coke replenished. I hate eating and not having anything to drink. No sign of our server for a long period of time although there were several milling around the front desk. Have they not learned the art of covering for each other? Eventually a busser brought me a second glass, but by that time my meal was almost gone. We found out our server was also the bartender although we weren't sitting in the bar. We waited and waited and eventually got some containers for leftovers. We asked about the to go order and were told it would be out in '5 minutes'. She also dropped off our check. I pulled out my card and put it in the binder and we sat and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. Meanwhile out back they were apparently growing potatoes and killing beef cattle and grinding hamburger and growing wheat to grind into flour to make a hamburger bun and God knows what else while out front we waited. And waited. Eventually we got a bag with a burger and fries and a quick over the shoulder apology from the bartender turned server as she was running away from the table. Without the check containing my card... We waited some more. Finally I walked to the front desk and asked if they would take my money. The young lady told me to pay our server and my wife explained that she had disappeared. "I'll find her for you!" was the response and she disappeared into the black hole where things go in and never come out. She carried the check and my card with her. Again we waited. Standing by the front door we waited. I was toying with the idea of just canceling the card and mailing them a check. Eventually the bartender/server came running up full of apologies and we signed and left. At home the neighbor lady sang Happy Birthday to me while I took her trash to the street for her so that is why the review gets two stars.

I think there is something to be said if this restaurant has this low of a rating after only one year in business. Everywhere else, this place has four and five star ratings. Their corporate office should be made aware of this and maybe look at their high turnover rate as well. That said, this place was the worst experience I've had. Believe the bad reviews. This is a cookie cutter business model that's not that hard to make successful, but leave it to the Tucson location to mess up a very easy business model follow. Be more professional and hire better employees that have a personality and some semblance of an idea of what they're doing. I'm making sure to tell everyone I know not to patronize this sling joint.

Seriously---how does this place stay in business? How does the corporate office not make wholesale changes in management? We decided to give Longhorn a try for lunch today. We arrived at 1:00 p.m. The restaurant was about 20 percent full, with most diners already having gotten their meal. Our server brought our drinks (water and iced tea) and took our order. The wait began....at 1:45 we asked what the delay was and were told that the kitchen was swamped. Seriously---how could that be? There were no other tables waiting for their food. (by this time the restaurant was nearly empty). A few minutes later our server came and said it would be "just a few more minutes". We said we were going to leave and to tell us how much we owed for the iced tea. She said "wait a minute" and disappeared. A few minutes later, the manager appeared and said "Gentlemen--I understand you have been waiting a long time and you are going to be waiting a while longer. The good news is that we will pay for your lunch..." At that point we simply got up and walked out. This was not a complicated order. A bowl of french onion soup and two salads. And we are expected to wait close to an hour??? We will never go back to Longhorn; although based on our experience and all of the negative reviews I doubt that it will be long before their doors are closed. Corporate: Get a new management team and staff if you have any hope of keep this location in business.

The service was great both tonight last week. I ordered the filet mignon with parmesan crusted medium rare! The first night it was melt in your mouth and tonight it was still really great better than most steaks here in Tucson. When you go in ask for the waitress Andreia she was fantastic! The mac and cheese hat was cheesy with bacon in it yum yum yum, and the tortilla soup is to die for. Go get your long horn on

My dad called ahead 3 and a 1/2 hours ago for a reservation for 16. My cousin was the first one to the restaurant and they told him they had no such reservation. So my dad called back and they told him we would have a 1 and a 1/2 hour wait. Not recommended for large groups who call ahead for a reservation.

All of my parties meat was tough and dry. The service was good, but for the prices and the food it was a definite miss.

Went back again, horrible! Had to ask for apple juice for the kids 3 times, we had a party of 12 and when they brought out the food, they were missing 3 salads, they got the entrée out before the pther 3 salads came out. Also managed to mess up an entrée completely, was told that the manager would be stopping by to correct the problem, he never did. Instead I saw him fliting with two girls on my way out. The servers were good but seemed overwhelmed and unserstaff, management cared more about getting a date. Food is good but the lack of management shows.

Every time I have been here there is a wait, so prepare yourself. I recommend having a cocktail at the bar. They used to have really nice steak knives, but apparently Tucsonians have a sticky finger problem. You can however purchase 4 for 29.99. They advertise that their steaks are fresh and never frozen. They do a decent enough job, but it's pricey for what it is. They do however at least cook it to your request temperature accurately, but it's underseasoned for my liking. I'd rather go all out and go to Flemmings (drool) or head to Outback where it is cheap and delicious- and their salads are boss. Longhorn is boss is two areas. Appetizers and table side steak sauce. I could write a sonnet about the steak sauce and for a a few bucks you get enough to take home. It's love for me. But seriously people, stop stealing the freaking mini pot, they will give you a container to take your sauce of dreams home in. I'm also a sucker for homemade potato chips- and they got it going on. But the true star of the apps are the corn fritters. It's like hush puppies on Molly. They have rotating menus- but steer clear of the au gross, I mean au gratin potatoes. Blech.

Went in for lunch and were informed that the wait is 20 minutes. We ask if the bar is open seating and are told it is. We find a table in the bar... no wait. We just got lucky 'cuz the place filled up after that. Note: if you sit in the bar be prepared to be watched the whole time by the giant longhorn head on the wall (see my picture). You can't help but wonder if you are eating one of his family members. I can't help but notice that others have bread and we were not offered any. The server did eventually bring us some.... so we're good. The place is fairly new so there are bound to be hiccups in service. We both order burgers. My wife the Steakhouse burger (comes with your choice of cheese) and I order the Rancher Burger, with bacon, a fried egg and bordelaise sauce. Cut to the chase... one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Seasoned and cooked perfectly but the runny egg and sauce took it over the top. My wife said hers was good as well. Their tap selection is totally chainey, with the usual suspects, but they did have Thunder Canyon Amber Ale. The mixed berry sangria my wife had was pretty good... according to her. We saw a lot of salads coming out that looked pretty good. I see they have a deal right now for $29.99 where you get salad, entree and dessert... may have to check that out. For now, I am pleasantly surprised to have found a good burger in a new place. We'll be back.

Waited for 50mins for a table, which I was totally fine with. Waited about 55mins for our food which I was absolutely not fine with. They brought my daughter's mac&cheese out 1st then my wife and son plates about 20mins later! My plate was last because the manager said they dropped my Outlaw Rib Eye so they had to cook me another one. When my plate did come out the corn was ice cold and by then the steak was ok. Oh and they left the bacon off my son's beacon cheese burger. They did give us a free desert to take home, comping my $25 Outlaw Rib Eye plate would have been more appropriate. Tonight we tried a new plate and because of such poor service we will not be going back.

Never will be back, over 3 hour wait to be seatef for steak my toddler could have made better. Service was horrbile we saw our waiter maybe twice. I ordered my steak med rare i was literally served RAW steak The outside of it hadnt even turned brown , i dont know if it was a mistake or rhe amateur cooks were just that ignorant to med rare. Our waiter sat it in front of me then gasped as if he hadn't even noticed, after waiting 3 hours to get in then 2 more hours for food than another hour on top of that for my returned food it was nothing but disappointing. My husband had to eat his food without me by the time i got mine we were so fed up and just left i ate it at home and it was nothing but disappointing. Never returing, bathrooms were disgusting on top of that .

Pleasant atmosphere, food was good although not excellent. Service was nice but a bit slow. Although not full of patrons, a large family with many loud children was seated next to us Most likely not to return

A friend and I ate lunch here today and it was wonderful. Started with great decor, very friendly staff, really nice selection choice on menu. Loved the fried green tomatoes, the prime rib was great and very tender and she had stuffed baked potato and I had baked sweet potato with cinnamon and butter just like I love. Finished off with two amazing desserts that could have easily fed four of us! Had to bring home leftovers. Our waitress Ana, was awesome and the staff was truly great. I would definitely go back again. I wish more restaurants were as creative as this one seemed to be. Kudos to Longhorn for using a little ingenuity in creating memorable food entrees and desserts.

I shared a 30oz blue cheese crusted porterhouse with my boyfriend and it was unbelievably delicious. The service was fantastic; our waiter was friendly, and very animated. I was slightly irritated that our bread was not cut all the way through and we were not given a knife to cut the bread nor butter the bread. Additionally, I would have liked to have been given a coaster for my water because the glass ended up sweating and getting the table wet. The bread was hearty and the fact that the steak sauce was made at the table was an unexpected touch that was happily welcomed! Delicious food!

The service was okay, but my food was terrible. I had the flo steak and lobster with a side of asparagus. I've heard good things about this restaurant, so I was sorely disappointed when I had a $75 check and still half a plate of food.

Went here for the first time tonight. Got there early so it wasn't crowded but by the time we left there was a huge crowd waiting to be seated. The restaurant is really nice inside but the prices are reasonable. I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin with the mashed potatoes and house salad. The steak was very tender and juicy. My biggest complaint would be the service, although it really was not that horrible. They were just a bit slow, and it wasn't really that crowded at the time. Also we asked for more bread and they forgot to give it to us but the waitress was nice and friendly. I would go back. This is a good place to go for steak if you don't want to spend a ton of money and you want a more casual dining experience than a fancy steakhouse.

I haven't been to a LongHorn Steakhouse in ages, so when this one opened in Tucson, it was almost like eating there for the first time again. And our first visit was awesome! I had filet with their steakhouse mac and cheese on the side. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned even better! The mac and cheese was very rich and creamy, with just little bits of bacon in it. Sometimes bacon can be overpowering, but this was the perfect amount used just to enhance the flavor. Yum! On my second visit, I ordered the same meal, and this time, my steak was horribly overcooked. I asked for medium and I got thoroughly well-done meat. I asked for it to be remade, and that took absolutely forever, all while my husband's meal was getting cold. He ended up having to eat without me. The manager did offer us a complimentary dessert, but I think the meal should have been comped instead. We didn't eat together, and that's not acceptable at a restaurant. I'm not really one to complain much though, so I just let it go. Last week we decided to try their lunch combos. They are really good! Great portions for great prices. My husband had the steak sandwich/salad combo. The sandwich was very flavorful. It was more like 3/4 of a sandwich than 1/2 sandwich, which made it really filling. Their salads have always been good. Very fresh greens and their dressings taste very unique and hearty. Not like bottled junk. I had a cheeseburger/french onion soup combo. The burger was overcooked, but still tasted fine. They put plenty of cheese and seasoned the meat with salt and pepper. The french onion soup tasted great, but it was lukewarm. Again, the burger was big for the combo, so I mostly ate that and ignored the cold soup. We tried LongHorn again yesterday for lunch. This time I got the mac and cheese/french onion soup combo. The mac and cheese was perfect just like it has always been. It is definitely a must-try. But my soup was cold again (so cold that the cheese didn't even melt on top, which makes me wonder why the manager even served it to me since she was running the food), and even worse, it was really watery and lacking flavor. This time I sent it back. It came back hot, but still absolutely flavorless. I ate my mac and cheese and pushed it aside, since two bowls came out tasting bad, it was just how they made their soup batch for the day. I thought that since I had to send it back once, that the manager would have already comped the meal or *something*, but nothing was done. Meh. The service here has also been hit or miss, but mostly miss. Don't drink too fast, because refills aren't coming. And hope that your food isn't wrong because it has taken me forever to find my server to be able to send it back. It's overall just frustrating. Everyone is nice, though. I guess I'm just tired of issues here. I like the food when it's done right. It's REALLY tasty. But it seems like something is always cooked incorrectly. And management doesn't like to make good on mistakes. Maybe if you bitch and moan a lot you'll get more of a reaction, but that's not my style. I think that restaurants should do right without me having to beg for it. LongHorn disagrees. I'll go back, but probably not too soon.

I kinda sorta didn't want to like Longhorn, after all it's a chain and I wasn't expecting much. Surprise, surprise! I have to say I really enjoyed my experience today. Met a couple girls for lunch today and we were immediately seated in a comfy booth in the dining room. It was 12:45 and they were pretty busy but we totally lucked out and got Justin as our server. His easygoing and fun personality really shines through and he took total care of us. I had checked out the menu online before coming and perused the nutritional information looking for something halfway healthy and low in calories. I had the Spinach Feta Chicken and selected freshly steamed vegetables with no butter or sauce as my side. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. It was topped with spinach and feta cheese as well as some red peppers. The marinade for the chicken is delicious and I ate every single bite.....for just 220 calories! The kitchen staff made the medley of broccoli, carrots and summer squash just as I had requested and they were fresh and done to perfection. My gripe is how long it took to get our food. From the time we walked in the door to when food was set down on the table was an hour. I find that unacceptable for lunch when many diners are on a time schedule. Justin expedited our food as best as he could and was quick to give us our check and take care of the payment so we could get out of there and back to work. It's nice to have a new chain in town (ugh, did I really just say that?) that serves decent food and seems to care about their customers. Oh yeah.....Happy birthday, Justin! Now go call your mom!

It seems to be hit or miss as a dining experience. we have eaten there 5 times and no two times were the same. Last night was my Birthday and I really had a taste for their ribs so I talked my family into going there. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children and were asked to wait while they prepared a table for us. An hour later we were still waiting. The staff said they were short handed but there appeared to be ample staff to me. It took another 45 min. to get our food and 1/2 hr to eat it. Some of the best ribs I've ever had have come from there, but these were NOT them! I don't believe I will be back another time.

The food was great had to wait 20min for my plate because they lost the order ticket beside having to wait it was OK

I am here now. The decor is nice and open, the acoustics are nice, the service is timely and outstanding. The porterhouse was to die for and fixed perfectly with outstanding flavor. Over all on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it an 11 +.

    (5)
  • Gene T.

Good service. Salad was over drenched in dressing. The grilled asparagus was not trimmed properly and I would guess cooked hours before I got it. The steak was served rare. I ordered medium rare. (Good thing I also like rare). The salad was replaced and they did switch out the asparagus for something else. So they made good on it. However not the experience someone wants to have when going out!

We went here on a very busy Friday night. We were not in any hurry so the 45 minute wait for a table was not a problem for us. We have been here a few times and expected that. So if you are in a rush this is not the place for you. We were seated and the server apologized a few times for the wait and brought us bread and drinks right away. We placed our order and he explained how many other tables were a head of us and how long each meal we ordered would take to cook. It was nice being informed. The server would check back in and give updates, he was very nice and helpful. The food came out and it was great, worth the wait. The server came back and offered a free sundae because that this point we were going on 2.5 hours of being here with wait time included. The staff is friendly and good is great just make sure it's a time that you can relax and not have to be somewhere right after.

Wednesday night, 7:30pm. Restaurant had many empty tables and no wait. We waited for 15 min staring at a table of dirty dishes. A waitress stopped and said they she wasn't our server, but was helping out because they were very busy. We left.

  • Joshua F.

Without a doubt the most unprofessional and horrible establishment I have ever been to, and that is really saying something. First off, the wait staff is slow, you'll be lucky just to get your silverware. When I attended the people on either side of me both got the burger with the fried egg. They both sent their burgers back twice because the egg was so undercooked it was running clear liquid down the side of the burger. After being sent back twice the manager came over and told them how wrong they were for sending them back because that's "how we cook them every day and nobody else complains". I'm not kidding this was what he said word for word. Not only is that extremely unprofessional but serving undercooked food to people is a very serious potential health risk, especially eggs. If you eat here and get sick it's likely because of how they handle and cook their food. Considering how overpriced this place is you will be much better off going a little further down the road to Texas Roadhouse.

It was OK but not for me. Service was Superior. Steak was tender and cooked just right. Turnoff for me was the seasoning. Too salty and too spicy so finishing it became a chore not a pleasure.

Service is amazing. Waiters are very attentive. Ordered the primetime steak burger both times I have eaten there and have been pleasantly surprised. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Highly recommend!!

Won't be coming back. First off the hostess sat us and took the "lunch silverware" away and said she would be back with "dinner silverware" and NEVER came back, although I observed her walk back and forth numerous times and glancing over at us. We waited about 10 min before a server from a different section noticed we had been seated came over apologized for the wait and answered our questions on the menu and found our server. We had to ask the server for silverware when we received our corn fitters- which were descent. My side salad was all carrots, cabbage very few lettuce pieces. My mom had NO carrots and very few pieces of cabbage and lots of lettuce. - Not to mention my Mom order Blue cheese and came Ranch. My Mom ordered the sirloin- recommended by the server and the meat was very tough. My med rare filet came out rare with cold fries..

So my bf took me out for an early mother's day dinner. It was kind of crowed when we got there, but people were leaving and coming in. Now we are sitting there and i start to notice that people that came in after us are getting their fresh bread and salads. So, we wait and wait waiter comes and tells us sorry Your bread will be out soon. Five mins later or so he comes out with the salad. The waiter didn't bring out plates for the bread and my bf had to ask for them. We weren't even finished with the salad and bread before they brought out our food. The guy that was our waiter didn't even stop by to check on us and my bf didn't get ketup and mustard for the burger. I grabbed some from the booth behind us. The service was just awful. I gave two stars cause the food was actually good. This was my second time there and i wasn't impressed the first time. I won't be going back.

    (2)
  • Christina C.

Wow! I was not impressed at all! (Very sad to say) For some reason I want to give them another chance, but I just don't think it will be too much better. I really wanted to like this new place in Tucson. Below are the details of my experience. Good: I was able to call ahead; the wait time was an hour. I got there an hour after my call and the table was ready. :-) Call ahead feature is great to have for those impatient customers. The bread was brought out warm and seemed very fresh. Bad: Party of four dinning on a Friday night, we know it's busy. The waitress corrected us and said it has actually been busier other days. The food took over 20 minutes to get to us. We had the bread "refilled" twice before our meal came out because it took so long. The entire meal process took 2 hours and not because we were sitting to socialize. Bathrooms are a bit hidden; I walked towards the kitchen and then had to ask where the restrooms were. Ugly: The two Rib eye steaks that we ordered did not look appealing at all. We asked for well done and the meat looked medium rare of the bat. Cut into the meat and we were proven right. There was not too much flavor to it either. The plate came with the steak and a sweet potato, looked really plain. The Prime Rib Sandwich was okay. The cheese was at the edge of the bread and most of the meat outside of the sandwich. Again, this did not look inviting. The plate simply looked sloppy.

Honestly, go to Texas Roadhouse for better food and better service. Three of us had to wait to be seated for 30 minutes despite the restaurant being half empty. Other parties were annoyed with waiting as well. The reason was dirty tables weren't being cleaned yet staff were standing around. The dirty table I took a photo of remained that way during our 50 minute visit. We were further annoyed the manager chose to reprimand another employee in front of us and our waitress had to say excuse me to reach our table. And what kind of steak place refuses to cook your steak extra rare if you want it that way? Our server interrupted my dad to say they wouldn't do that for his safety. WTF? His steak was sent out extra rare - it just wasn't that great. The other two dishes were nothing special either. Talapia and shrimp had 3 small shrimp and the fingerling potatoes were under cooked. We and everyone around us also waited a long time for food to arrive. The atmosphere is nice, but the management is totally lacking and the food is not worth the higher prices.

  • Jamie H.

We sat in the bar tonite and were so pleased we did. The food was great, but what made the night was the service we received. Chris was also bartending for the entire restaurant while taking care of us and did a great job. When he was taking care of us, he did so as if we were the only people there. He was attentive and made sure that my wife's dietary restrictions were taken care of by the chef. It was a great evening!

The filet with bleu cheese topping - it's still calling to me, and it's been about 3 weeks since I had it. This plate was accompanied with skewers of shrimp, 2 side items, and a salad to start. For less than $27. Value, value, value. The watermelon salad with feta cheese and kale - again, calling to me. The flavors were immense and this seemed so new and creative. Now that my stomach has expressed how much I liked those two dishes and that's out of the way, let me tell you about my 3rd most favorite dish - the mac & cheese. Oh heavens, this was to die for - I'd say the best in town. There were several very small negatives 1) the wait was crazy but hey, they're popular 2) the steak had to be sent back because they forgot the bleu cheese 3) the orange/cream drink could be so much better. But this was all easily forgiven by the kind, apologetic and prompt service. I know I've read mixed reviews and so will you, but this experience we had was 5 stars all the way, with the food quality much better than my experiences at Texas Roadhouse, and the value being most fair. Highly recommend.

Well where where to start.... Went in for lunch a few weeks ago. First ones in the door at 11 am. Still took about 20 minutes to see the waitress. During this time we asked to be moved as the booth we were in was dirty. The bread finally came and the plates were dirty. Should have taken this as a sign. Orders lunch my wife had the chicken and I had the prime rib sandwich. Spoke to the waitress prior to ordering and informed her of a food allergy. Food arrived and it was very small, not much meat and my wife counted 14 french fries. Began eating and something was off. Found out from waitress the horseradish has sour cream in it. I told her I had an allergy and all she said was oops forgot about this. Spoke to the manager and she comped our meal, price I was going to pay later that night. Spoke to the GM 2 days after when I was feeling better and they promised to inform there staff better. For a restaurant owned by Darden this one is the worst!!!! Dirty, overpriced, and a staff that dies not care about the customer, will never return.

Horrible service..we had a group of 9 on a Thursday. I called ahead and we still had to wait over an hour while there were empty tables..20 minutes to get a drink at the bar..finally when we sat, after 2 hours food came out and everyone's was wrong! Waitresses were for lack of a better word "bitches"

Probably the best steak I've had in years. My first time there it was very mixed. Second time was a big success. Nice salad (but they didnt tell me it was an extra charge) and a great ribeye. Service wasnt great, but the steak made up for it

We went for lunch and had a pleasant experience. The Wild West Shrimp appetizer is wonderful. We split a half pound burger that was cooked just right. They even cut it and brought an extra plate at no charge! Very efficient and friendly service. We'll be back!

Great steak! I'm not a big steak eater and every now and then I crave one which my boyfriend will cook well this time we are out of town. I search on yelp for a good steakhouse wasn't looking to spend tons of money on one. Since we do not have a longhorn my us we thought we give it a try. That was a mistake! I'm gonna wanna go all the time now! Great service sat in the bar area at a table. We had a great girl bummed I can't remember her name it's my fault I'm not good with names. Thank you from your guest from California!

There was so much hype surrounding this place that I was so excited to eat here. I got one of their burgers and asked for it to be medium, however it came out well done and dry. We also ordered the calamari which was good. Great batter and delicious dipping sauce. The drinks were not bad either. All in all the place was mediocre and sadly did not live up to the hype.

So, this place came very close to getting a one-star. I went here with my wife on our way back from our Honeymoon. We sat down and were served bread with two dirty-plates. Ok, gross, but it happens. The waitress quickly corrects the problem and we look over the menu. I order the Porterhouse medium-well and my Wife orders the Filet Mignon. We are served what was probably the worst steak I've ever eaten. The waitress notices that we aren't happy, and even though we didn't ask, she puts in the order for another steak. That second steak... That second steak was the bomb. It was so good. And then they comped us dessert, which was more than enough for two and delicious. Here is a tip, ask for your steak to be unseasoned.

I do not know why it is that this place sucks so bad. Perhaps it is because the Olive Garden concept does not translate very well into a steakhouse operation. Of maybe it is because the wait servers in Tucson are just dumber and that is all they can hire. We went twice. The first time we sat at the bar for lunch and it was not very good and the service was spotty to say the least. People were lined up to get in and there were empty tables everywhere. The hosts/hostesses seemed to be extremely disorganized. People waiting there staring at open tables. My wife sampler appetizer was microwaved. Everything was limp and over-nuked. From the bar, you can see the overworked microwave. I think "Chef Mike" is used for a lot of what comes out of the kitchen. The second visit was not any better. Again, people were waiting to get seated while there were open tables. It was slow at the bar even though there were few of us. One fellow walked in, sat at the bar for over six minutes, did not get greated or served so he left. Of course we did not order the appetizer sampler. As for us, there was great confusion over a medium rare prime rib. They said they didn't have any then a runner came out with one. While the food was not a horrible as the first time (we tried to select wisely), the service was slow and goofy. We will not go back.

Service tonight not so great. Undercooked food on one. Cold food for the rest of us. Normally ok but this place sucks tonight.

Wow! The food was great and so was the service! Rae was our waitress. She was awesome, even though she was losing her voice from being so busy. She answered all of our questions, made great recommendations and was very attentive, all the while serving several tables. We started with a couple drinks. I had the Spiked Orange Ale and Hubby had the Watermelon Margarita. Both were tasty and strong! So watch out if you get one before you eat something!! Once we ordered, the food was excellent. Hubby had the Outlaw Ribeye. Cooked medium rare and it was perfect. Seasoned with salt and pepper and not much else. It didn't need it. I don't even remember what sides he had because the steak was so good! I had the flat iron, medium rare. It was delicious, but I think it would have been better if it was medium. It needed the extra cooking. My favorite item though was the roasted golden beets with goat cheese side. Oh my, were they good! I had a fantastic meal! But we weren't thrilled to be seated at a round table for 6 in the middle of everything after a half hour wait. There was too much traffic and it was very hard to talk even though we sat right next to each other. The food and service were so good that we'll be back when we can afford to eat there. It was expensive, but excellent!

Went here yesterday, Saturday at noon. Wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. Wondering if this place is associated with Texas Roadhouse as the gal leading us to our table tried asking the exact same, "so have you eaten here before" that they are obliged to ask over at TR. The place is nice and our waitress was efficient, but also somewhat artificially pleasant. Hope that makes sense. She took our order and brought three pieces of bread, and we didn't see her again until they brought out the food 15 minutes later. We would have enjoyed another round of bread, it was really good. We only ordered Steak Burgers and they were delicious, cooked just right. Our sides were great too. My only gripe could be the minimal portion of fries they threw on my plate. After all, how much is a potato, right? Will probably go here again for steaks, as long as it's not busy. We felt the food was good quality, but the service was a little off.

This place is the shizzzle. Lol I love it completly, it is a bit pricy but you pay for what you get and its absolutly delicious. The only bad thing is the wait time for a table but besides that I could eat here everyday. I love me some steak!!

Outlaw ribeye was great, salad was the worst. Services was the terrible. But they are new. Prices are high!

I didn't expect too much and I wasn't too disappointed. The service was slowwww and took forever for our food to arrive. The outlaw was pretty good, drinks ok, server was nice. It was ok. Nothing stood out and certainly nothing to write home about. I would recommend it to someone wanting a mediocre steak and not in a hurry.

We had been wanting to try Longhorn Steakhouse since it opened and finally got the chance. At first, we were very displeased. My family of four walked in at around 8:00 PM Thursday night. I would estimate that 3/4 of the restaurant was empty, but we had to wait for a booth! All but about 4 booths were empty. Just as we were about to leave we were seated. I'm so happy that we stayed. Our server, Justin, was exceptional. He knew the menu, gave suggestions and was all around fantastic. I can think of a favorite fine dining steakhouse who should steal him! For appetizer we got the Texas Tonion. It was fried perfectly, seasoned well and the dipping sauce was flavorful but not too spicy. Our salads would have been good if it wasn't for the overuse of cucumber. We love cucumber in salads but this was way too much. Next time we'll request no cucumber! My husband ordered the porterhouse with a loaded baked potato and both were cooked to perfection. As I've written before, a properly baked potato seems like a no brainer, but finding a place that accomplishes it is a feat! Eldest daughter had the filet and mashed potatoes and loved both. Youngest daughter had the 1/2 rack of ribs and said they weren't as good as mine, but still delicious. I ordered the mushroom topped filet special and it was fabulous! Cooked perfectly medium and the mushrooms in Bordelaise sauce were incredible. I must say, however, the potatoes au gratin that came with the steak were not good. I usually love potatoes au gratin, but these were devoid of flavor. More salt and cheese were definitely needed. For dessert, I had the Key lime pie and my girls shared the Chocolate Stampede. The pie had the perfect combination of sweet/ tart just as a good Key lime pie should. The Chocolate Stampede was a dish of extreme decadence! It says it serves 2, but honestly it would serve 4. We wound up taking half of it home and my girls love chocolate. All in all, we had a great dining experience.

This place is AMAZING! If your in the Tucson area and looking for a nice sit down restaurant, I definitely recommend this place. The food was on point and nothing less than perfect. Prices are definitely reasonable and our waitress was really nice and the manager even stopped by to ask us how our service and food was. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and the Texas tonion as appetizers, talk about delicious! Sadly we had to stop eating them to save room for the rest of our food. The salads are great and so is the baked potato soup. My sister and I got the lobster tail and steak and my boyfriend ordered the filet. It was delicious. This was the best restaurant we've eaten at in a long time and I wish I could take it back to San Diego with me!

Hubby and I went to try out this place since it's "relatively" new to Tucson and I was craving MEAT (guess I was low on iron). We called ahead seating. There was a bit of a wait when we did get there since we were ab out 10 mins earlier than what we quoted the gal. Anyways, we sat down, and I ordered my prime rib (med-well)with sweet potato and ceasar salad, Hubby ordered the sirlion (med-well) with rice and ceasar as well. My steak was cooked well and well seasoned, however, my Hubby's steak was tough! The service was good, nothing spectacular or out of the norm. The place reminded me of a cross between Black Angus and Claim jumpers, for some reason. Because my husband didn't care for it, I may try it again with a gal pal next time

We were sooo excited to be going to the new LongHorn Steakhouse and ended up being so disappointed. We were seated as soon as we arrived and were enjoying the cool cowboy decor. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. We sat at our table for 20 minutes while watching others be seated and greeted by wait staff, before a clearly overwhelmed waitress acknowledged us as she walked by to another table. We waited another 10 minutes for the waitress came back to take our order. At this point I walked up to the hostess desk and asked if someone could help out our waitress as she was clearly overwhelmed. Another waitress approached and asked if she we needed anything, but by that time our waitress was back at our table. She the brought drinks to our kids and said the beverages from the bar would be out soon. 5 minutes later she brought us more water and stated the bartender was backed up. We eventually got our drinks and then the food took FOREVER to come out. (We noticed others waiting and having their salads served at the same time their main course was delivered?) My meal looked like it had been under a warmer for some time. We ate, paid and left. This restaurant needs to focus on customer service. If one staff member needs help - help them out! There was a tall man in a blue and white striped shirt walking around the restaurant. A manager? Never approached us or checked on anyone in our corner of the restaurant.

Waited an hour to be seated on a Tuesday night. Once we finally got seated, I counted 10 empty clean tables and 3 dirty tables. I don't know if they were short on servers, but sit your customers at a clean table and then close off your dirty ones. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and there was maybe 3 ounces of meat on the entire sandwich. There were more grilled onions than meat. My girlfriend got a burger and the patty was cold and chewy. Her father ordered a steak which actually looked well prepared. This places operates very poorly and the food was low quality. I still tipped 20% but I'll never return. Waste of time and money.

My husband and I have always been partial to Silver Saddle but wanted to give LongHorn a try on my son's suggestion. It always seems the same when you go to a franchise. The service was horrible as we would watch our server go by multiple times seeing our water glasses empty and the food seemed as if it was made in advance and didn't have much flavor to it. Two managers had to come out to assist us and by the time I received my order that was not done correctly my husband was already done with him meal. I was asked to fill out a survey and that someone would get back to me and no one still to this day has.

It was a good solid lunch. They were pretty busy for a Thursday afternoon, but that was OK. Jonathan, our server, was high energy and got us everything we asked for. I got a pretty solid Strawberry lemonade to drink and a Longhorn Steakhouse burger. The burger was good, the fries were just OK. My lunch mate got a pork sandwich and a Caesar salad (he said it was good-- it had paprika in it-- I am not a fan of paprika so I am glad I didn't get the salad). The cost was a little high for what you got. I might go back for dinner. Kitchen was bogged down and it took a while to get our food as a result. Probably would not go back for lunch

It was a Tuesday night, so it wasn't too crowded. My wife and I were seated right away. The server drops by and says "Good Evening, how are you?" I replied "we're doing great, you?" He answers "Not good, I have way too many tables"..... Uh-oh, looks like we're in for a treat. We tried to place our drink order, but the server said they were out of the draught beer that was listed on the menu. So I ordered something I really didn't want. The bread was mushy, but the salads were pretty good. My wife and I both ordered 8oz sirloin steaks. I ordered mine medium, and she prefers hers well done and butterflied. They came out in a reasonable time. Hers was properly cooked, and looked appetizing. However, there were two large strips of gristle right through the middle of it. She trimmed around it as best she could, but quite a bit was wasted. My steak was gray in color with no grill marks. When I tried to cut it, I thought something was wrong with the steak knife. The problem was it was the toughest piece of meat I've ever eaten. It was even difficult to chew. It was properly cooked to medium, but very leathery. It was also tasteless. I don't believe there was any seasoning applied at all. I notified the server about the tough steak, and he got the manager. She offered to replace the steak, but I didn't want to wait another half hour for another tough cut. I elected to eat what I had. She also offered a free dessert, but I don't eat desserts, so I politely declined. Overall, the service was okay, even though the server said he had too many tables, but the steaks were really bad. You can get a much better steak in town for less money. We won't return.

Was hoping one would open in Tucson. This is our first time at a Longhorn Steakhouse. The chips and sauce before lunch was wonderful, the honey wheat bread great, the salad with the house dressing fantastic, the BarBQ beef sandwich wonderful. Would recommend this place to everyone. Tried my husbands steak all I can said is amazing. We will for sure be back.

It is a very rare occasion that I get a steak made to order and it is perfect in all aspects. Well today was that day! The steak was large and cooked exactly how I ordered it, oh the flavor not to mention juicy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our glasses were never empty and we were checked in on the perfect amour of times. The atmosphere was upbeat and very pleasant and we were able to have a conversation at our table because the music was not too loud. The yelpers previous review of the chocolate stampede was incorrect my wife had it and she said it was not too sweet but had the perfect chocolate taste and the texture of the cake was perfect. Yes it is a little bit more per meal normally but it is a steak house. Check it out!

Tom and I went to this restaurant, Longhorn Steakhouse for his birthday. It had not been a great day for him, and it was about to get worse. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait, although there were a number of empty, albeit, dirty tables. We sat at the bar, where the bartender did not smile or have a kind word. That attitude continued with our server. It took forever just to get water. I asked what she recommended and surprisingly said, "Chicken Parm". So I got that and Tom got a large steak, so we could share. A life time later, Tom got his steak, which was order medium, but it came out RARE. My chicken parm was hardly a breast. It was super thin, and seemed processed! Oh, no pasta with the parm, which I've never heard of! It had a little sauce dribbled over it. The noodles in the Mac and cheese were dried out. The waitress took Tom's steak back and the manager returned it with no apologies. I mentioned to the waitress several times that it was Tom's birthday, as we kept hearing happy birthday sung around the restaurant, but to no avail. Finally, I asked if they gave free desserts for birthdays; she finally got the hint! After he received his dessert, the staff sang happy birthday....... to yet a different table for about the 5 th time that night! Tom said, "Now they're just rubbing in my face!". We'll never go back! And I only joined this so I could write this review, so you know it was bad and expensive!

My experience was not horrible. I feel my experience possibly had more to do with being understaffed than anything else. We had a 30 minute wait. Not that bad. The wait for our food was exceptionally long. 45 minutes. My steak was served cold. My patatoes were burnt and dry. They couldn't manage to bring out mac and cheese and fruit for my son at the same time as our dinner. After an hour with no mac n cheese we decided it was time to get the check and leave. 15 minutes later we had to go boxes and a check. My husband had to take the check to the hostesses after another long period of waiting. I took my hungry and grumpy toddler to the truck and waited while my husband waited for the mac and cheese and finished up with the check...it took another 15-20 minutes. We're patient people for the most part but on this occasion the food was not worth the wait nor the high prices we paid. The staff was courteous but lacked in punctuality it seemed on this particular night. To their credit they were busy but if the restaraunt is built to accomodate a large crowd it certainly should be staffed for one on a Saturday night.

This was our third visit. Can't complain about the food since we loved what we got. Starting with the 2nd visit the service was horrible and slow. This last time we sat for almost 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us, bringing us water or even a drink order. Needless to say we won't be going back. Texas Roadhouse is right down the street, the service is fast and the prices are lower.

We went here on a Thursday night for dinner it seemed a little busy but they still had tables. They said it would be a 20 min wait and they sat us in 10. This was the best part of the night. So we were sat and for the next 30 min no one came to get us drinks or anything. It was awful. So we walked out without ordering. When we left the waiter by the door was like have a good night totally clueless how bad service was. My husband and I decided thay with two kids we don't have time to be ignored at. Restaurant.

My experience had pros and cons. Cons: My alcoholic beverage was warm and I had to order a glass of ice to cool it down. (Once cooled it was perfect.) The MANAGER was hitting on multiple women at the bar throughout the night. (As I am writing, he is on to a new one, still at it. How unprofessional. ) The wait for entrees was quite long. When it did come it was either under or over seasoned. PROS: KIMBERLY! She was my waitress and took amazing care of me. She was so energetic and attentive. Amazing personality and incredible spirit. She made me feel like I was the only table on the floor. I asked for an additional side and even before I could think "this is taking a little long" I could hear here advising the kitchen staff that it was taking too long. What a refresher she was in a world that is losing touch with real customer service. (Maybe they should reconsider their management position). If I was only rating her service, I would need to triple the stars but because of the other downfalls and overall experience, this place gets a 2. Go to Applebees where the prices and quality match or are expected. If you're looking for a good or great experience, this is NOT your place.

My review is unfair because I didn't actually eat there. Went on a Thursday at 2PM and were told there'd be a 5 minute wait. 15-20'mins later, we left and went to Monkey Burger. There was literally nobody on the restaurant except for the employees, who were mostly goofing off. Dancing, joking, gossiping, but not bussing tables or seating customers. Longhorn owners: if you want to make money, serve your customers ASAP. Spread the word to your employees.

Overall wonderful experience. We had 2 adults and 3 children and we waited about 10 minutes for a table, which isn't too bad. Our server was a very nice man (can't remember his name - but he had a VERY deep voice) who was super friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. A lot of the reviews on this restaurant complain about slow service but we had the exact opposite experience. I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye (med rare) and it was an 18oz piece of heaven. I normally don't review that salad but I have to say, the croutons were awesome! Light and had the perfect amount of crunch that didn't make you feel like you were eating rocks covered in ranch. The loaded baked potato was delicious as well. If you are wanting to try out an appetizer, definitely get the grilled stuffed mushrooms!

They got the one star because my son liked his chicken strips. The service was very slow. Our waitress was a nice young lady, but we started to laugh every time she said she would be right back because it took so long for her to return. My daughter ordered the filet, medium, with mashed potatoes and gravy. The meat was way overcooked, and no gravy. Everyone's plates looked like they came from a diner or cafeteria. A piece of meat and a round lump of mashed potatoes with package-made brown gravy (if you were unlucky enough to actually get the gravy). Hubs and son both said the gravy was not good. Most of us got filet and it was very thin. Not what you'd expect a filet to look like. Dessert was offered for free, because we told the manager that the meal was simply ok. And it was just ok. Nothing special. Overcooked meat, poor presentation, and sad gravy. The dessert was ok, nothing special. No need to come back here.

horrible!!! I had the watermelon grilled salad with chicken. I was expecting grilled chicken it was chicken tenders but thats ok it was the only good thing!! Salad was so dry it stuck to the roof of my mouth!! The manager seen me making a bad face and asked if everything was ok. I said No this salad is dry. She did ask if I wanted more dressing and she did bring it right away. However after that it went downhill. The waitress never once came back to our table to see if we needed anything and never refilled our drinks. We sat there for half an hour AFTER we finished eating for her to bring us the check. Then she took another 20 minutes to bring us our change. So if you go here and complain expect to be treated poorly by staff. Never again

Service and food was amazing. JJ our server was very knowledgeable and patient with us since this was our first visit. We both had the Renegade Sirloin and it was tender and cooked exactly how we ordered it. The prices were a little on the high side, but not unreasonable. We will definitely be back.

So, my husband and I decided to check out Longhorn Steakhouse as you guys know, it just recently opened. The place was built nicely and the décor is cool and not too western. The hostess was ok, maybe her first hostess job, but she was friendly. Now, the girl that took us to our seat.. Well, she could have been friendlier and smile more.. Our waitress, Tess.. She was great, but can tell she might have been a little nervous at times, but any questions she couldn't answer, she was quick to get the answers for us. We ordered and my husband ended up going with the Ribeye steak and I ordered the full rack of ribs.. Ooh and try their peach tea, which was amazing... Ok, so not even 5 minutes later, our waitress comes back and says "I'm sorry, I just found out we're out of ribs, I'll bring you the menu to see what else you would like." I guess I had a disappointed look on my face as my husband said we can leave, but I decided for us to stay.. My husband never has tried lamb chops so I went ahead and ordered it so that he can try it. As soon as I gave my 2nd option order, another lady comes and says, I heard you ordered ribs so we can still give you that.. We went back and forth and I settled with the lamb chops.. Then the manager came, her name was Leia and she went ahead and gave us ribs with what we already ordered. Wow.. The steak, ribs and lamb chops were awesome.. My husband was impressed with the lamb chops and also enjoyed the ribs and his steak. Needless to say, we left there full and happy and with a lot of food to take home, LOL.. In any event, the staff was awesome and they made sure we were happy and to make sure our experience at Longhorn was a good one.. Check out Longhorn Steakhouse and ask for Tess and if you have any problems, ask for the Manager, Leia. We truly enjoyed the food and the staff.. My husband and I will sure be back!!

Since they are fairly new be prepared to wait! And they don't have call ahead seating yet but they said in two months that will change. But i think the restaurant is very nice looking inside, the food was delicious and the waitress was on it, we had no problems. If you want some good western food i recommend this place. Maybe pricey to others but I'm a firm believer on you get what you pay for. Other then having to wait 30min-2hrs depending on the day i believe they deserve 4stars. Cant wait to go back.

We checked out Longhorn only 4 days after they opened, so I assume they have a few kinks to work out. First off, our service was very good. Friendly, fast and helpful. The food however, was just ok. My husband tried the half rack of ribs, and while he said they were ok, they didn't compare to Texas Roadhouse's ribs. My meal of chicken stuffed with portabella mushrooms would probably have been fine, if it wasn't so salty. I mean, really salty. The complimentary bread on the table was pretty good, but not as good as the rolls at Texas Roadhouse. If it sounds like I am comparing the two, I am. They are only a mile apart, have similarly priced meals, and specialize in steaks and ribs. Unfortunately for Longhorn, Texas Roadhouse is much, much better. We may be back, but probably only for a beer and an appetizer.

I've been waiting for one of these great restaurants to come to Tucson. I was little disappointed because they under cooked my steak and it was FREEZING in there. But since they have only been open a few months they might need some time to perfect their craft. I'll try it again in a few months.

My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday dinner. The steaks we had were awesome, my daughters really enjoyed their Primetime Burger. The price paid for the tiny stakes was very high. Watch out if they bring you a different soda you did not ask for, do not think it is free because they will charge you for it. I will say the dessert we got ( the Chocolate Stampede) was hyped to be sooo good and large that it would feed our family quite well. The claim was partially correct. It was large, but tasted very bland. I do not think we will ever go back.

Had lunch half grilled chicken and avocado with salad. The sandwich was very good menu said salad was mixed greens it was not just iceberg that was disappointing. Garlic butter and bread was good. We were given check half way through our meal by overly chatty waitress then we waited well after we were done for it to be picked up. No drink refills were given.. So I guess the experience was so so food was pretty good.. Maybe I'll check it out again maybe not...

Just want to say how amazed I was when I arrived at this restaurant and the door was opened for me. Also I was ready to be a big critic and pick at everything but truthfully saying from the beginning it was all good! The manager, Emellio Anderson was the most courteous person from start to finish! He promised that the steak would be great and it was better than great! Thank you Emellio for the best steak house staff in Tucson! My steak melted in my mouth! And the service was right-on! Portions are great value! Thanks & I will be back!

We went there with some friends because it was one of them birthday.. We had to wait over an hour and when they sat us down we had to flag our server to give us our drinks.. We order the onion appetizer and when they finally got to our table were drench in oil nasty. The manager came and apologize and gave us new ones she said the fryer was off ..Really in the middle of dinner and they turn the fryer off who do they have working back there. Then I order the full rack of ribs witch. They were cold when they got to my table my friend were also cold. My husband order stake cold and my friends hubby order the chicken the only one that was hot.. The server took all our meats to be re heated when they came back my husband stake was over cook, my friends ribs were ok but mine were so burn I didn't even touch them.. Would I go back I don't think I will. Not a good experience

First visit to a Longhorn and I'm quite underwhelmed and baffled as to how this company is still growing. Walked in and sat at the bar, no bartender around. Waited longer to be greeted then I should have and was only offered a half interested 'what can I get you to drink'. No hello, no how's it going...no friendly gesture. Food was quite disappointing as well, my fries were cool and over seasoned, the sandwich was half untoasted and dry. While I was eating I can hear the staff in the kitchen yelling things I had no desire to have to hear while eating a meal and a man came to the bar to pick up an order Togo and sat the length of a Katy Perry song while the bartender was socializing at a near by table paying no mind to her bar. This entire experience has left no taste in my mouth to come back.

Unimpressed. Never had Long Horn Steakhouse before and I was extremely excited to try, and I was disappointed. It took forever up even get our drinks (all we ordered was Iced Tea). Then after I specifically asked the waitress if they still had Prime Rib (because it says When Available on the menu) she said yes we do. I order and was excited. It seems like forever went by and the waitress came back to tell me they didn't have prime rib anymore. She apologized but I felt like she could've told me A LOT sooner. Then our food took FOREVER AND A DAY to come out. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. The plate was pitiful. I had to pay extra for the asparagus side, which only tasted burnt. Not lemon butter like the menu says. The manager even came to tell us she apologized for the long wait. We thanked her but we won't be going back. Save yourself and go to Texas Road House, it never disappoints!

Service was very slow. We were there 15 minutes without anyone in the waitstaff asking us about drinks. I had to go to find someone to serve us. After finally ordering we finally received our meals which were reasonable but not great. Over all not worth the price. Even with better service I think I would prefer some other steakhouses for the price.

Went to this place for the first time. Had a group of 7, which included our 3 grandkids. Food was so-so. I had the shaved beef prime rib sandwich w/fries. Sandwich was tasty, but have had cheesesteaks that tasted better for less. Wife had the chicken w/avocado on flatbread. This was very good. Son had the steakhouse burger. He asked for it medium well, expecting it to come out at least medium (from past experience with multiple places). It came definitely medium rare. As we were running a little short on time, he opted not to try to send it back to get it fixed. Now, I realize this was not a steak, but cooking the meat, any meat, as ordered should be #1 on the list of things a "steakhouse" should do. Other food was 2 kid's meals and onion soup, which was rated pretty tasty. Bill came to $70 before tip. Will probably give this place another shot, but I'm not really into steak. Service was very good. She brought out kids food first, so they could get started.

I've been the longhorn almost every Friday night since they opened and I'll give you a heads up on how to have an amazing time. 1. Expect a wait, whether it's one of you or 15 there will be a wait at this place. So bring a book, have an app downloaded, or bring along your best friend who you talk to nonstop. 2. Request Lorri S. I've had her almost every time she's there. It's worth the extra wait, she's a lead server and a grill cook there so she knows her stuff and she can fix things fast if something happens to go wrong. 3. Order an appetizer, they have small bites if you're not that hungry but sometimes the kitchen gets backed up and food can seem like light years away. So break it up a little with an app. The homemade chips are awesome. 4. Get a specialty steak! You know one of the promo items! They're only around for a limited time and always worth it!! Remember anything about medium temperature brings your ticket time to at least 30 min. 5. Save room for a dessert! Key lime pie is my favorite. 6. BAM! You had a good time right? 7. Now tip! I'm a regular so I've spoken to quite a few people there. They make $4 an hour which is taxed... Average they pills in $12 a week in paychecks. So leave them some love and I promise they will remember it and you'll get the perks ;) Honestly I love longhorn food and their workers.. So understand busy times are harder for them to give great mind blowing service. It's harder for the steaks to come out under 20 min. If you're looking for a personal butler come on a Tuesday. But if you're okay with a little joke here and there and a great time then follow my steps.

Went for the first time tonight and won't be coming back. Our meal took over two hours for those lucky enough to get their food. There were eight in our party and there were errors in four of our meals delivered to the table and I never received my order. Three people came out and dropped off food to the table and left. We noticed some side dishes were wrong and I did not get anything. After a while everyone started eating what they had waiting for someone to show up so we could get things fixed. After about 25 minutes, our waiter showed up and noticed I did not have a dinner and ran off. About 20 minutes later, he showed up with my order but everyone was done eating by this point and we just wanted to leave. To make a long story short, the service was bad, the salad I did get was ok at best and I have no idea what their steaks taste like. Avoid this place at all costs. I recommend eating at Arby's next door before patronizing this place.

If I could give it a 0, I would. We had no silverware..no water..no napkins. Had to talk to the server 3 times about getting bread. The salads had the "butt" of the lettuce in it and basically no salad dressing. Now the prime rib..If u want to call it prime rib. I have never seen it 1/4 inch thick and if that was an 8 ounce prime rib I'll buy you a Mercedes. The cook should be fired. And the maitre'd should have been watching the quality of the food the servers were dishing out. By the way..when was the last time you had a frozen margarita in a beer glass??? Tacky. We won't be back and I'll highly recommend our senior group that goes out for dinner and cocktails once a week to "skip this place". Certainly not worth the money..or the time. But on the plus side..Our dogs really enjoyed their expensive "prime rib dinner".

My wife and I went to the new Longhorn for dinner this past Saturday as a birthday celebration. My wife ordered the rib eye medium well and I ordered the Fire-Grilled T-Bone well done. On our initial table service, our waitress (Erica), made a great suggestion for an appetizer of Wild West Shrimp she forgot to bring our order of bread. After our plates arrived, they both looked great. However, after taking my first bite of my T-bone I realized that the underside of my steak was burnt. After debating whether or not to send it back, I did and explained why I was sending my steak back to the kitchen. Someone else brought my second steak and again, it was burnt on the underside. Erica then went on to explain that my order was prepared on a fire grill and that could be why it seemed burnt. I then asked for something not prepared on the fire grill and settled on the rib eye as well. Although the rib eye came out perfect, needless to say I was disappointed because it wasn't what I ordered. After asking Erica numerous times, we never received our bread so overall I'm not impressed with Longhorn steakhouse. I might come back but it will be a long time in between visits.

I had really high hopes for this restaurant. Since they opened, a few months ago, the restaurant has been packed every single time I drove by. I was hoping this would be a new spot to put on the list of date night regulars, however I will likely never go back. First off I called in around 6 on a Sunday night, the wait time was 50 minutes so I put my name in (loved the call ahead seating). We got there on the dot, no one waiting to be seated, plenty of open tables all around the restaurant and were asked to wait for another 10 minutes. Not a huge deal, just an annoyance. Our server came right away, gave us our drinks and took our order. The appetizers were incredibly small, the salad had less than a tablespoom of dressing, the steak was cold and extremely under cooked, missing a side, and both our potatoes were incredibly overcooked and burnt. I love food and am the farthest thing from a picky eater, so this is saying a lot. I've never sent back a single plate in my life, and definitely would have had our server not completely disapeared (no where in sight) for about 35 minutes after dropping our food off. Yes, we waited for about 15 minutes after we were done eating to even see our server. She brought the check and we were out of there as soon as possible.

Well, that was just our worst restaurant experience EVER!! When we were stationed in Fort Campbell KY, Longhorn was our favorite restaurant in Clarksville TN!! We moved here 2 Tucson AZ at the end of 2013 & went out 2 the Longhorn out here on Broadway.. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!! My hubby's steak was raw, cold & bleeding, was supposed 2 be med-rare.. My shrimp was burnt, black flaking burnt.. The lobster/shrimp dip was cold, like pulled out of the fridge & served cold!! We will never revisit that place!! Our waitress Alexis was super nice & tried so hard 2 make things right.. In the end we only paid 4 our boy's chicken tenders & we didn't take the free food that was offered because that wasn't the point.. We tipped Alexis $30 4 all her hard work in trying 2 make things right.. But unfortunately we'll never go back.. We understand that things happen & cooks have bad nights.. But our experience was just beyond that point.. Longhorn steakhouse, you used 2 be our favorite restaurant, but no longer.. We are super disappointed in our outing tonight..

Long wait and the illusion that you are getting a real hamburger. Longer wait fir food. No tact. Serving bread without plates. Longer wait. If you want to invest several hours of your day to eat a meal that isnot up to par look for this restaurant.
