This is the BEST place for breakfast! The staff is wonderful but the FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!...u will not be disappointed or hungry when u Leave here! This place was packed and our food was still out very fast and very tasty...I recommend this place to everyone!

The food was fair, nothing too special about it. The service was terrible, not a single waitress seemed capable of a simle and we were basically ignored. Luckily it was cheap, but we will not be back.

This place was disgusting.. they don't even know how to make toast.. raw hasbrowns.. will never be back. Don't waste your money here.. The best one hands down is the one by the airport on valencia.. You might have to wait longer for your food but it's well worth the wait and the staff is awesome.

I have been to most all of the Jerry Bobs locations in town, with the one year Broadway and Rosemont being my favorite. I can safely say that of all the locations, this one -- likely because it is new -- is the cleanest of them all. This Jerry Bobs does not have the lived-in feeling of the other locations. The booth cushions are somewhat firm and tear-free. The tables still have the factory sheen. The walls are bright. There's bound to be country music playing on the radio. There are plenty of wall hangings and are some old fashioned trinkets, a couple of which encourage you to "drink more milk." There also seems to be quite a few fake plants. Wait...maybe they are real. I will need to touch one next time. OK, for now fake-looking plants. Likely because of its location, this place draws a lot of families, especially on the weekends. So be forewarned: The volume level can get high and the wait can be 15 minutes or so. I've been a few times and there always seems to be the lengthy weekend wait, which seems to be typical of most Jerry Bobs. And some folks let their little ones run all over the place. But these things are not unusual. So, yes, with this particular location, there is noting especially different from any of the other locations, other than the fact that it is immaculate at the moment. They've got omelets, hash browns, grits, gravy and biscuits, stacks, waffles, Huevos Garcia, corned beef hash, chicken fried steak and a ton more on the breakfast menu. Thinking about lunch or dinner? They've got Cajun chicken, liver, catfish, beef, sandwiches, salads and soups and a bunch of other things. This location also has a nice sized bar, in case you don't care to sit in a booth or at one of the tables, which always seem to be set for larger parties. They also have daily specials and, on Fridays, a fish fry with cod that runs 2-8 p.m. And the staff is cordial and attentive, though they are old school. So don't get all annoyed if you find someone yelling to you from across the dining hall about whether or not you want more coffee, or if you find that someone is waving you toward an open seat. Remember, this is a family-styled diner. It's all good. All that to say that I imagine that if you have been to any other Jerry Bobs in town, you should expect a similar experience and treatment. And that's fine by me. I don't go to Jerry Bobs for 5-star treatment, or quiet ambiance, or to be pampered and have my ego stroked. I go for the good, reasonably priced home cooking. It's the kind of cooking that reminds me of the brief time I spent living in the south. It's the type of cooking that goes well after a good exercise, especially a moderate hike. And it's the type of cooking you want when you find you're missing home.

Food was as good as any other place, but the service was lacking. At first, waitress asked too frequently for our order (like, two minutes from taking our drink order), but then never seem to come back for it (about 10+ minutes). I had a Buy One Get One Free entree coupon but found on my receipt that the cashier only gave me my kids meal for free, despite the fact that there were four adult entrees at my table. I understand that the kids meal was the cheapest item on the menu, but the coupon says " Enjoy one complimentary ENTREE when a second ENTREE of equal or greater value is purchased - Up to $7 Maximum Discount" That means my two $6.50 entrees should be valid, the same way that sort of deal works at other places. I know she applied the discount manually, so I know she intentionally chose which item to deduct, I'm just mad I didn't catch it until after I had left. The $3 difference may not be enough for me to go back for, but it is enough for me to complain about. Nickel and diming your customers does not make them happy.

If you get to the restaurant before 2:00pm, do not think that you will be welcomed and invited to have a seat. Arrived at the restaurant at 1:48 pm and was refused service.

This was my first time dining here. The experience was okay. I tried the porkchop dinner. The greatest thing about it was the price. I got a meat, two sides and bread for 6 bucks and lots of food for me. The "pork chop" was fried and the gravy was actually delicious. The "meat" though was like a pork patty, but honestly, if i didn't actually see it on the menu, I wouldn't have known what type of meat it was. When i asked the server to bring me bread, which they forgot to bring me (which in hindsight, they could have kept in the back b/c it was so bland) he was like, what did you get, is that the chicken....so you see, seems like they didn't know what it was either. Anywho, i ate it anyway because i was hungry and the gravy was so dang good, IT was also cooked very well and had a sort of sweetness to it, that I sometimes had to combine with my french fries so that 1. the french fries would have some flavor and 2. to tone down the fried/sweetnessy of the "pork chop." In addition to the porkshop and french fries and had the tortilla soup which was too spicy for me, then switched it to the okra which was also flavorless, but cooked well. So i just added a little salt and gravy and viola, edible. I think this would be an okay place if i was on a not on a diet, on a budget and/or had a plain palate (the median patron was either 10 year old or 60 old). Most people there I noticed had breakfast, so I would give Jerry Bob's another try for their breakfast food, but for dinner, probably not.

I love Jerry Bob's for breakfast! We had no wait this morning and our waitress, Kaylee, was attentive and friendly. Our food was served quickly and was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing and the prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back again.

Jerry bobs is nice restaurant in Tucson Spectrum mall and it is delicious breakfast and excellent extra free coffee, I don't know how come so many no good reviews at this place but for me it is very good 5 star.

This is the WORST Jerry Bobs In Tucson! I will NEVER go back! The last two times we have been there the cook has screwed up my order!! This time I asked to talk to the manager who comes over admitting she knew about the screw up and didn't come over to apologize or take the meal Off my tab! I usually do not complain to have the meal remove if they fix it to what I ordered, however today by the time I was able to have my complete meal it was cold!!! Soo mad! No one ever said they were sorry for messing up my breakfast!!! Will NEVER GO BACK!!! Stay away! You will always be disappointed and they don't care!

My husband and I ate here on New Years Day, both a little hung over and needing a hearty breakfast for continuing on our road trip. We were looking for something that "did the trick" and this place did just that. The staff was obviously busy as the place was crowded, but they were efficient, and working together. Lots of warm-ups offered on the coffee, which does not always happen in a busy diner. The food was basic diner fare, but good and exactly what we wanted. I got the "Pick Four" for $6.49, and got two eggs, home fries, english muffin and OJ. For the price, can't beat it. Thanks for helping us ring in 2015!

If you're in the need for comfort food of some type, whether it be a hearty breakfast after a night of drinking or an easy lunch (dinner hours till 8 on Fridays) this place will fulfill it. Numerous menu selections, good prices and decent service. Plain, simple diner food and that's it.

The severs are the worst! Unhelpful unfriendly. The food was good but refills on drinks are out of the question and getting your check to leave no your going to wait.
