I like the interior of this IHOP location. It's always comforting and good for large parties of people. I have consistently had great servers. Breakfast being the mainstay of why one would be there, my husband I had stopped by a few days ago and both ordered their promotional Lorax breakfast (green eggs and ham) at about 6pm. The eggs were scrambled mixed with creamed spinach; we both enjoyed this flavor combination. The ham was a total failure. It had zero taste and was dry; it's the worst I EVER recall having. I was sure that there was no fixing that, so I didn't even say anything to the server for fear of having it replaced. My husband had no issue with the ham. With my Lorax breakfast combo I had a choice of pancake side; I ordered the side of Rooty Tooty Bar-Ba-Looty Cone Cake (with a side of whipped cream). It basically was cake in a waffle cone; rather than pancake in a waffle cone. Topped with blueberry compost. I love sweets so this was down my alley. So all in all, you get what you pay for. I am not a huge IHOP lover, since I love eating great food for every meal every time. However, it's clean and airy, with good restrooms and it's quick for dinner.

Super slow service. Place is the most over rated chain in the business. What is the attraction? The crowd? The noise? The teenagers running the place?

I got the pumpkin spice pancakes. I figured they would have good pancakes because it is called ihop. But they were pretty terrible in my opinion. I don't think the butter was real either, and "old fashioned" maple syrup...give me a break. More like corn syrup made to taste like maple syrup. :/ The pancakes weren't the least bit crispy, even on the edges, and tasted bland and like it came from a mix. I really just wanted some good pancakes. I will not be coming here again for pancakes. Oh! And the waiter didn't even ask me if it was good, even tho I only ate half of it and didn't take the rest with me. I would have said it wasn't good and maybe they could have redeemed themselves, but it's like he didn't care.
I LOVE IHOP but the service at this location could certainly be better. Understandably, service on Sundays can be slow, but once I'm seated I don't expect to be forgotten. The food is great but sometimes it's too hard to get a hold of the waiter/waitress. Not always, but sometimes.

This is a good IHOP, one of the last bastions of late-night culinary vices. I'd just come off a five-year IHOP boycott because of the crappy service where I used to live in Casa Grande. However, this location redeemed the fine name in my eyes. It was late. The wife was craving pancakes and I a bacon cheeseburger. Both were great for what they are. The server was friendly, I sat in syrup the table busser had missed. I laughed, I cried, it was better than "Cats". Good diversion. Better than Denny's and not as annoyingly overhyped as In 'N' Out burger (Seriously, who really likes those fries?).

What can I say - it is I-Hop. The food is good and quick - and the portions are always huge! Seems to be clean and all the waitstaff and patrons seem super nice. Always have had a good experience here!

Great service. Good food. Some foods are generic, but good.

I like the ability to avoid gluten and dairy in foods at all the IHOP locations. That being said, I would prefer that they actually offer Gluten Free Pancakes and rolls just like all the Egg Harbor Cafe's do!

At no fault of their own, I now remember why I stopped eating at IHOP. This is a chain restaurant serving low quality food that needs to be shunned out of town. Everything was salty, bland or stuffed with sugar. Al thought the service was fine, I will never return, so I am assigning it 1 star. There are plenty of locally owned breakfast/brunch/lunch places downtown/university/Oro Valley, etc that are 100 times better than this chain in taste, quality and atmosphere that will still cost you almost the same amount of money and will have you leaving satisfied.

We have eaten here a few times. Each time we say we won't go back but this time definitely sealed the deal. We won't be going back to eat here anymore. They used to have kids eat free after 4pm but we were told they don't offer this anymore. That was kind of strange to me because there is a banner out front that says Kids Eat Free. Oh well, that wasn't the worst part of our visit. The service was significantly below average. There were only a few people seated when we walked in so lots of tables/booths available but it took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge we were there and another 5 minutes for them to decide where we could sit. Of course this place specializes in all kinds of pancakes but we try to get the kids to eat something better for them. One ordered the grilled cheese and fries. The picture on the kids menu shows 4 triangles of grilled cheese sandwiches. When it arrived there were only 2 and they were small. Our granddaughter did order the mini chocolate chip pancakes. They brought her a grilled cheese too so we had to send it back and wait for her pancakes to come. My wife ordered the patty melt. It was on the greasy side but eatable. I ordered the Philly Steak Cheese Stacker. The server did not come back to check on us or offer to refill out drinks. We had to actually stand up and get someone's attention before she finally brought us our bill. I question how this place stays in business. They sure won't be getting anymore of mine.

I came here with a friend who was visiting on a business trip. The service was good. We were there on a Sunday morning so it was packed. They had at least 4 different hostesses at the front and they seemed really coordinated. Seeing they were also very young I thought it was cute how serious they were about their jobs. At the end of the day they did good and that's all that matters. I do appreciate that they have more and more healthy alternatives. I was able to order an egg white omelet with turkey, spinach and avocado with some whole wheat pancakes to help convince myself it was ok to eat the full stack.

Been here twice. Food was great both times. Dining experience sucked the second time because the manager was publicly chewing out a young waiter who had been nothing but pleasant to me. I guess he made a mistake, but before you ruin his night by constantly berating him, maybe you should take him in back out of view of his coworkers or customers. Manager then acted chummy with him in front of customers like half the restaurant didn't hear him. Poor kid. Not surprised to read the service is sub par-- it's clear that the management is too.

I came here after a smash tourney with a bunch of friends at Foothills Mall. They talked before this about their tradition of going to IHOP after every tourney. I wanted to get something else other than IHOP, such as chinese or gourmet pizza or something, but they had to have their tradition. So I kept wondering, why the hell IHOP? Every time I went, there was nothing good, or at least nothing I was interested in. Before they had their bacon milkshake advertising. I don't know, I've probably just had horrible experiences every time or just never liked the restaurant from the start. Anyway, we get there and sit down. And I mean sit down. For around 30 minutes. They finally take our orders. Then we keep sitting for another hour, and our food, or mine at least, is cold and soggy. I thought I got the best meal, but it seems everyone else had better ones. When it finally came time to go, it was about 9, when we got there around 6. Come on, I didn't intend to spend half my day there. At least we had a bunch of people talking about smash, which to me is semi-interesting. I'd rather be playing it than talking about it though. Long story short, I am an absolute fanatic of NOT going to another IHOP, or even Denny's, again. Total waste of time and money, when I could be spending both in something more productive. However, my friends are pretty awesome, and I don't intend to discount them at all. I like to hang around with them, just not at another IHOP.

Your five year boycott needs to go back on, Andy. After we finally figured out that the entrance was in the back we pulled into the parking lot. The entire staff is incompetent. We were craving pancakes, we were starving. After the waitress finally made it to our table and got around to placing the order it took 25 minutes. We waited for about 45 min. When we spoke to the manager, he was more interested in cleaning up a spill. Half of our order was sitting in the window waiting under the hot lamps. The manager went back to check the kitchen, instead of coming back to us he came out dragging a dirty mop in a bucket THEN he came over to inform us that it would "be just another minute."

My husbands eggs, toast, and bacon were ice cold and the service was nonexistent! They dropped off the food and haven't been seen since! Not to mention I ordered a salad as an appetizer and it was the last thing delivered!
