We got seated right away. The place was clean and waiters were very friendly. The food of course was very god :-)

Had an afternoon-breakfast, however the service was quite bad at this location. Food was good, but there was a lot of wait time and finished my drink half way through my meal and wasn't asked for a refill till I was done.

Summary:Two stars due to the service (but the food was great). My family and I frequent our local IHOP. Being in Tucson we expected the same service, same food, same great experience. First the service. We waited and waited and waited to be seated. This was at 10:30 am on Wednesday! The only person working the front was cashing people out and the place was not that busy. Our waitress was nice enough but she took a crazy long time getting us something to drink and even longer taking our food order. She came back to ask what I ordered. Now for the food. All of us were done with our breakfasts before my daughter got the rest of her meal. The food was great. My daughter's eggs were perfect as were the hazelnut banana crepes.

Food was very good here. I had the cinnastack pancakes and they were amazing! Server wasn't boring and had a personality

Ok so I had my food at a reasonable time but my omlet seemed to be cold and the oatmeal that was served to my girlfriend looked like soup more then anything. YES we did say something.... Next time i'm in Tucson i'm going to the waffle house

Well I had the red velvet pancakes and they tasted nothing like red velvet. It tasted like a regular pancake with red food coloring.

I was skeptical at seeing the low scores on the Yelp app as I was looking for an IHOP to take my girlfriend while we were in Tucson. She wanted crepes and suggested we go here. This was the closest one to our hotel. I was not excepting much given the comments, but was pleasantly surprised. The parking lot was large, but full. I had to park in front of the business next door and walk over. There was a large group of people inside, but the line moved fast and we were seated within 10 minute. The restaurant was very full - not what I was thinking given the ratings. The menu was standard iHop, but it was seasonal and I was able to order the pumpkin pancakes. I would have also liked the red velvet or the cinnamon ones too. The order was quick, the food was excellent, and the service good. No complaints.

Horrible experience, as usual. We are one of maybe 6 tables here and it took 15 min to get our drinks another 7min to get cream for the coffee after I stood by the cooks area and had someone ask if I needed something. Food came out after 35 min. Eggs didn't have cheese on it, toast didn't come out waters ran dry. Idk why I come back here. We had to ask for all the missing things including butter for the pancakes. The "hot old fashioned syrup" was cold as could be. I asked for a hot one since my cakes were getting cold already and I hear her tell the cooks to take off the top and toss it in the microwave. Awesome. We have seen the waitress 4 times in almost an hour now. This is the usual experience. Won't be back this time, Denny's is slightly better quality then this and the service is certaintly better!

In town again and thought we'd give it another shot. It was half as busy as the last time we were here, but this time our server was of higher quality. More attentive and put in the extra umph when it came to the table and kids. The food still takes a bit to come out, but I wasn't as hungry this go around and I was more mentally prepared for a longer wait. Food was okay and parking still stinks. All in all, I still rate it as 2-stars.

For a house of pancakes, their breakfast menu is surprisingly small. That and every selection comes with pancakes. I don't care for pancakes but my wife was craving them. I ordered off their special menu - the loaded potatoes with cheddar and bacon - came with eggs and, you guessed it, pancakes. I asked what I could substitute for the pancakes like, maybe, a cheeseburger. As soon as the server realized I was joking and was able to speak, she told me my options. I settled on wheat toast. My lady chose something off the special menu too and chose pumpkin pancakes to satisfy her fix. The food was OK, not spectacular. I missed the fact that my loaded potatoes were topped with sour cream. This took them, at least to me, out of the breakfast realm and into bar food territory - they were very heavy at breakfast. My eggs, ordered over medium, were slightly underdone. My wife's pancakes were topped with a sort of icing, making them overly sweet, as was the iced coffee she ordered. The bacon on both breakfast items was crisp but did not look fresh. The sausage that my wife gave me was seem freshly cooked and not overdone. The substituted wheat toast was the real surprise. I expected store bought wheat bread, but this was dense and had some texture and chew and wasn't overly buttered. Service was OK. My water glass stayed empty until I asked for more and, despite asking three times, we had to steal ketchup from another table. Chain restaurants like these mystify me. There are always long lines of people waiting an hour to get in for overly rich/sweet pancakes, heavy breakfast food and inattentive service. I guess that's what people feel gives them the most bang for their buck.

Impressed with the service from Stacy. She was very prompt and even when my food came out wrong....she wasn't hesitant to get is fixed. She was super friendly. The food was also very delicious. Try it out if you are in the Tucson area and ask for Stacy.

I mean what can be said about IHOP. It is a place to go after meetings for a snack or after an evening out. Breakfast is ok. You know what you are going to get. It is a typical chain. This particular IHOP is average. The food is no better or no worse then any other I have been to. I only come here because of a meeting held here. If you are looking for breakfast there are plenty of better local options for you.

I've been to this IHOP dozens of times, both during normal people hours and after the bar. The service is always good, the food is always good, ... it's IHOP, people. What exactly are you all expecting?

Terrible! I ordered the eggs and cheese with chorizo and salsa, which probably wasn't such a good idea (why order this at ihop in a city with great Mexican restaurants and drive-throughs?). Hash browns with ketchup were great. But the egg-cheese-chorizo mix was dried out, warm not hot, and pretty tasteless. Little cup of salsa was nicely spicey but gooey in texture. Flour tortillas warm and somewhat tough. Coffee bitter and weak (a tricky combination to manage). Service was polite but perfuncteory. All in all, really awful.

We went in and they sat us in the coldest part of the place with a cold fan blowing directly over us. When we looked around we realized the place was almost empty which made the seating arrangement make no sense. Then we waited for about 10 minutes and nobody came by to take drink order or anything. We walked out and decided to correct the mistake by going to the Good Egg. Really bad service, at least 5 workers looked at us but didn't come over. A little better management and they might be a little more successful. I would not suggest this place for breakfast in Tucson.

Wish my family didn't like the place. Food OK, service suffers. 2 out of the last 3 times, service was so slow I almost walked out. Not sure why they can't get it together.

My friend and I waited a long time in an almost empty restaurant for food - I found out the reason why - everything was extremely overcooked. The bacon, eggs over easy, toast, and the hashbrowns were dark brown and crispy. The food was not inedible, but I expect more from an IHOP where entrees are more like $6-10 for a basic breakfast! Worth the drive to Oracle and Roger.

I can't remember which IHOP in the area that I went to, while visiting a friend that lived in Arizona at the time, but while the service was awful, the food was pretty good. We got a kick out of the guy walking around making balloon animals for the kids. Cute little touch that we don't see in Chicago.
