Order from the menu, don't get the buffet!! The beef chow fun with veggies from the pink menu is fantastic!!!! I repeat. DO NO GET THE BUFFET! Otherwise the food is very very good, reasonably priced, and probably somewhat authentic based on how many Chinese people I see eating here.

Great meal, authentic feel, and awesome service! We ordered off the "pink" menu as other reviewers mentioned. The bean curd with golden mushrooms was great, and the triple pepper chicken was very spicy (and delicious)! Definitely recommend this place, and we can't wait to do takeout and sample more off the menu!

Tried to call them 3 times tonight to make an order for delivery. Every time I ended up with a message saying the voicemail was full. If you cant answer a phone or even clear out your voicemail you don't want my money. UPDATE: Ate their tonight, now I definitely have no urge to ever eat there again. Delivery took over an hour and a half. Really, nothing should take that long in Sierra Vista. Food was terrible, crab puffs had no crab, just cream cheese and as for the rest of the food, I am sure it came straight off the buffet line.

Don't believe the morons who give this place 4 & 5 stars. Visited this place for lunch today. Ate the buffet for $6.95 a person. Arrived around 11:45. We were the ONLY 2 people in the restaurant. That was the first clue. Most of the food had no flavor. The egg rolls were just ok. The only good thing was the crab puffs, which was really the only good thing in the buffet. Fried rice was flavorless. What a dive. The food was just warm and seemed to be thrown together. Choices are very limited. Save your money and dont believe the other reviews. Apparently people like to pay for dog crap.

Stick with the "pink" menu and you'll be rewarded with fresh, authentic, and extremely tasty Cantonese delicacies! This is easily my favorite Chinese restaurant in Tucson, if not my favorite restaurant period. We eat here about twice a month and always leave satisfied. P.S.- nothing is over $10 and most dishes are around $8--a real deal in my book!

Great tip about not eating buffet. The meal on menus are really good. The portion is so big that it can double other restaurants. Price is pretty good.

Second visit just as good as the first. Ordered Garlic Chicken and Roasted duck. Both were great. There is one dish I'm interested in that is steamed pork with salted fish on top. Need to try that next! Best Chinese in Tucson.

Simple Chinese food is not just mix vegetables with meat and stir fry it on a Wok. It's all about the flavor! This location is pretty close to everywhere and convenient. Private parking lot. Butt don't expect to look super clean and great decor. The food is what is Good for!. - Golden Mushroom with Fried Tofu on top of Chinese Vegetables is One of my favorite dish! The Tofu is not Smooth and fresh but I will not find anywhere else better in the Tucson area. - Sweet and sour Pork is another dish I get to mix it with white rice. It makes me want to eat more! - Fresh Bok Choi stir with Garlic is FTW! Not bitter at all and Crunchy! - Walnut shrimp is not bad in here, I like it when they don't put too much "cream" on the shrimp. Price is very affordable compare to other chinese restaurants. I don't eat their Buffett tere since ordering is fresh and about the same amount of price (depending how many people are eating). Staff is a bit slow, but that's when it's busy (when I was there). They Take Visa and MC. (NO AMEX).

Order off Chinese menu. Don't eat the buffet. I have never been a fan of Chinese buffet anyway. Good prices. Large portions. One meal can feed 2 people.

Taste? Great! I want more and all I ordered was the beef chow mein! Now for the bad ( and why it is not a higher rating). What kind of restaurant send the customer away with their take out and NO UTENSILS. As I sit here at my destination trying desperately to eat how chowmein with only my fingers my ire increases.

After spending a morning with my kids at Reid Park while on vacation in Tucson, I suggested to the friend I was with that Chinese food for lunch sounded good. She did a quick search on her smartphone and we ended up here. I was a little disappointed when I realized that this was a buffet place (Chinese food and buffet should never be uttered in the same sentence, IMO), but cheered when they told me that they had a menu that I could order from and have the food cooked up fresh. I was scanning the menu for vegetarian items and asked about the bean thread with vegetables. The waitress told me that yes, that was vegetarian, but what I really had to try was the tofu on top of bok choy topped with golden (enoki) mushrooms. Let me tell you, this dish did not disappoint. The lovely crispy tofu on top of fresh, bitter bok choy and rich enoki mushrooms were the perfect combination. Probably one of the best Chinese dishes I've eaten in the US. The bean thread with vegetables was also good, if a little gummy. My companion also liked her beef lo mein. Servers were nice and accommodating to my kids. Also, not that it matters, but they had some of the most well-written fortune cookie fortunes I've ever seen. Chinese food is meant to be eaten within seconds of being cooked. If you're eating buffet food at a Chinese place, you've got only yourself to blame. If you order off the menu at this place, though, it will not disppoint.

I have been frequenting this establishment for over 5 years and I love this place! Best Chinese food in Tucson hands down. I recommend the duck or anything off of the pink Chinese menu.

After putting up with several really bad experiences at this particular restaurant, it's time to "call a horse a horse" and give up trying to put up with a bad experience time after time. The food is usually stale and lukewarm and the staff's attitude is even worse. I will avoid this Chinese "Buffet" from now on. They would do Tucson a service if they just closed their doors and went away.

Food is great (get a menu in Chinese), but it doesn't really matter when there are employees pushing around carts of dirty dishes and garbage by the tables. The aquarium they have is so dirty it is nearly opaque so sit somewhere where you can't see it.

They are kind of a pain in the ass... When you ask for things you normally get at other restaurants, they snap at you saying they are traditional Chinese food... Happened more than once. I have only tried their wonton soup, I've been sick and it's usually my magic cure, though it didn't cure me, it was very good and I went back a week later... My hubs had issues ordering things. The whole traditional part... He's still on the fence for this place.

This place is AMAZING. Please do yourself a favor order off the menu and not the buffet. The chef knows his/hers stuff. Portions are huge, the food is fresh and some the best I have had in a long time. House chow mien and chicken curry blew me away. The prices are right.

Although the buffet it mediocre at best, if you catch it at the right time when it's fresh, you can't beat the price and sometimes cheap and mediocre just hits the spot. Unlimited crab puffs make the buffet worth the price when they are fresh. That being said, the menu items are actually quite good, especially the authentic Chinese menu, which features dishes that are hard to come by outside of costal cities with large Asian populations. The winter melon soup is wonderful, mellow and savory with just the right amount of seafood flavor. I personally love the atmosphere, it's a classic Chinese restaurant dining room, massive with tall ceilings, chandeliers and fish tanks. It feels like being transported back in time. All in all a decent Chinese option.

Great service. We had never been here before and the friendly staff made us feel very welcome. We had the Lunch Buffet at $6.95/person it was a steal. Very good food. Will definitely come back.

My family has been coming here for decades, and it has never disappointed us. Prices are very reasonable and the food has been consistently good. If you feel like more authentic Hong Kong style dishes, order from their pink Chinese menu. I have tried almost everything on that menu and it's very good. Several dishes my family enjoy the most are duck w/black mushroom, fish filet w/vegetable, honey walnut shrimp, beef & tomato w/egg, pork w/preserved mustard, mandarin pork chops, chicken hot pot, stewed beef w/turnip, and their big servings of house pan fried noodle. The soft drinks with unlimited refills are cheaply priced. This place has been around for a long time and you can see the building needs quite a bit of work, but it's still around for good reason. Great Chinese food for a decent price.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
