This place is fantastic! The atmosphere was nice and the employees were super friendly! The Red Chile was so tasty. I was expecting it to be hot (standard in NM), however it was very flavorful. The fry bread is delicious. I look forward to eating here more often. Truly a hidden gem in Tucson!

This place is AMAZING!! The food is the most AUTHENTIC I've tasted in a very long time! The kinda food your nana used to make. The fresh popovers and tortillas went PERFECT with the Red Chile and beans. Last but not by no means least is the Red Chile! It's got a flavor only nana could replicate. Beautiful little cafe with great charm, wonderful cheerful service. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

I had lunch here 2 days in a row. The red chili combination plate was really good. I had the squash (calibasita) then I tried the rice. Both were very tasty. The Indian fry bread was perfect...fluffy and chewy. We had the cinnamon sweet tea which was good as well. The price was a little high as we spent nearly $24 (including tip) for lunch for 2. We wanted a little honey and we were told it is normally extra but they gave it to us. It should not be extra. The ambience is nice. Well decorated and clean. I hope the locals support these folks. We will be back.

I used to drive at least 10 miles to San Xavier Mission just for the red chile con carne burros. Don't have to do that anymore. Cafe Santa Rosa has the BEST red chile con carne that I have ever eaten! The flour tortillas are made on the premises-you couldn't ask for fresher, tastier ones. Cafe Santa Rosa is the only place in town where you can order a popover anytime. Service is fast and friendly. My compliments to the chef! The only reason for not rating it 5 stars is because if I want water with my meal I have to buy bottled water.
