Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I'm in a bit of shock after giving this place a try, because I really thought one of the smaller chains would be trying a bit harder than the big guys, so it might be good? It wasn't. First, let's discuss the poor service. I am in no way exaggerating the times here. I placed the order at 4:13pm, I know because that is the time the confirmation email is stamped. I called to check on things at 5:20pm, I know because I checked the time of the call on my phone after the pizza finally arrived. When I called at 5:20pm, I was asked for my phone number immediately after being forced to listen to a pre-recorded list of specials. As soon as they had that, I was told "your pizza is ready, oh, I just got here, and I see that it's ready." Now I have no idea why she felt the need to tell me she "just got there." I don't know what she meant, if she just started her shift, if she was out on deliveries and that's why it took so long to answer the phone, or what. I don't know, and honestly, I don't really care. But I responded, "my emailed receipt says I paid for delivery, are you saying I need to come pick it up?" Then the conversation changed to "it's in route" then "on it's way to be delivered to you." Fine, there is nothing I could say or ask at that point. The place is exactly 0.5 miles away from me. Even if the driver went the longest way possible, and had to stop at two stoplights and make two U-Turns, it shouldn't take more than 4 minutes to get here. So, it should be here at 5:24pm at the latest, if she's lying to me and if the delivery driver is just now walking out the door. But she said it's already on the way. 5:28pm the pizza arrived. I guess the driver had a big pizza delivery route to do before me, or stopped for a smoke for 4 minutes. I don't know where it went wrong, I don't care. One hour and fifteen minutes is excessive, considering they aren't the only choice for delivery. On to the quality of the food. I ordered a large, with light sauce, and 3 toppings. I was able to identify that the 3 toppings were correct. However, it was not light on sauce, and it was in fact a very uneven distribution of sauce. Some parts had a large excess of sauce. So, they didn't really pay attention to what was ordered. Next, not a single piece of pizza was cut completely. Every single one of them had to be torn, taking a chunk of the piece next to it with it, or leaving one behind. And, as for taste, awful. Even disregarding the heavy layer of sauce I specifically requested not be put on the pizza, there were other problems. The crust tasted like stale bread. The chicken on it was pretty much tasteless. The sausage was bland. Most of the pizza ended up in the trash because it just wasn't worth eating. It not only killed my appetite, it assassinated it with extreme prejudice. Nothing about it made me want to ever even consider trying a BlackJack pizza again. So, for $20, I managed to wait an hour and fifteen minutes, and eat about one and a half small pieces of pizza. By my calculations, I could have WALKED to New York Pizza at Camino Seco and Broadway, two of us ate for half that price (and had drinks), and walked home, both faster, and cheaper. And, I would not have had nearly the number of complaints about quality.

I use to love blackjack pizza!!! But I'm guessing they had a change in management or something. I ordered a large one topping pizza and some cheese bread, the total is a little over 15.00. I picked it up and get the pizza home and it isn't cooked all the way, the crust is still really soft and all I taste is dough!! So gross. I called and they would not give me my money back, but they said they would make another pizza. We drive all the way back return the pizza, and got a new one. Get home, and the second pizza is just as bad!! The crust literally taste like dough that hasn't been cooked all the way. Disappointing cause they use to be so good. We threw away the entire pizza.

Terrible. Really I don't know why I gave them a 2nd chance after their first screw up with my order. I ordered online. 45 min wait time. After an hour and a half I called. They said my order was delivered. Nope. Then I wait and hear them yelling and cussing at each other. Talked to manager, she said 35 more minutes. 45 minutes later pizza arrives. I feel guilty for not tipping until I open the wings and they're cold. This place sucks, I'm out $20 and I feel sick.

Blackjack has consistently decent pizza at a good price. Taste-wise its not the best pizza around, but I'll take it any day over the rest of the big pizza chains and the price is hard to beat. Ive only done carry out from this location so I can't speak for their delivery speed, but they have always been prompt, getting my orders out in 20 mins or less. Great spot for decent pizza on the way home, without emptying your wallet.

Ordered a pizza and wings. Online order said subtotal $19.98, plus $2 tax and $2 delivery. Tax is 8.1%, so that's about a .02 cent mistake right there. Got the email confirmation saying it would be there within 45 minutes. When the pizza arrived (an hour later, yep, pretty late) it was $25.22 ($1.24 over). It says on the box the subtotal is $23.48 with $1.74 tax. Any way you cut it, they're overcharging over their declared prices and they're slow. As for the food, the pizza isn't bad but it's not that great. Doesn't want to stay on the slice, greasy.

We have ordered here in the past with little issue, but tonight has definitely ruined this chain for us. Not only did it take "55 minutes" as the driver rudely corrected me on after I said one hour, but the est. time was 45 minutes. Then all that he had was a cheese bread. We also ordered a large pep and pineapple pizza. He didn't seem to believe us until we showed him our confirmation email. He then proceeded to call a manager and they yelled at each other in our echoing apt hallway at 10:05pm. He said " just talk to the customer" and handed his cell phone to me. The poor excuse for a manager basically offered to have us wait another hour for a pizza or credit the account. At this point we cancelled the order. Now, at 11:47pm, we still have no refund even though we called back and asked how long the refund would take, and were told, "oh I'll do it now, and it will be immediate." (by the same "manager") This has been a stressful and frustrating experience since we are still hungry. I will not be ordering here again. (to say the least.)

I was shocked to see so all 1 star reviews! I have eaten here twice and it's been great both times. Can't beat a large two topping for $6.99! The second time was for lunch at work. My coworkers agreed that 1 star was ridiculous.

Order 4 large pizza's for my family. They tasted great and had no issues! My church also uses them too. We've always loved them!

Unfortunately this place is the 1 star group... Ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza w/ extra cheese and light sauce. The sauce was caked on and the cheese wasn't melted all the way thru. The cheese bread was burnt and flatted as if someone sat on the box. I really wish I could have given this place more stars but what you see in the commercials isn't for sure what you get.

I just ordered a medium pizza and a cinnebread. I instead got a large greasy inedible mess. I just threw away 20 bucks. It was the worst pizza I have ever had-- hands down.

It was late. We were hungry and it was a project night where we didn't want to leave for pizza. Got on Eat Street and made our order. Eat Street sends the wonderful confirmation that the order has been submitted and I awaited the second email the establishment sends that acknowledges your order and gives you an approximate time for delivery. That email never came so I give them a call to confirm. I am a polite soft spoken woman who was raised in the customer service industry and as I was asking for confirmation I was hastily interrupted by the person on the phone, no name given who then told me my order would be to me in about 30 minutes. I was slightly annoyed by the customer service and went to Yelp to look up their ranking history and I was frightened. 30 minutes later I had my late night delivery that consisted of two X-Large pizzas (2 topping each) for a price that came out less than $30 with delivery fee, taxes and tip. Not a bad deal. It was hot and edible and by edible I mean it was average. Nothing too special but not a disaster either. Would I give em another go, sure. This is the kind of pizza you order for the kids birthday/sleepover, the office party you don't want to order from the big guys for or if it's late at night and you need a quick thing and you don't mind the grease.

For a smaller chain that used to be run well under one owner (the current owner of the Campbell location), I can say for sure the customer service here has gone ridiculously downhill under the newest management. The manager "Zeke" (who claims to be the owner) made a terribly exectuted pizza he should be embarrassed by & never let out the door, and then refused to correct it. Poor choice, even as a manager, to burn bridges with the customers, especially when you hang up on customers who just want a solution. Seriously, the combination of a rude lack of customer service with awfully made pizza, this place is a joke. I also just called the Campbell location after and was not at all surprised to find out that many people have also called to complain of this location and are even going so far as to go to all the way to Campbell to get their pizzas instead. Whoever is running this location is really dragging down the name of BlackJack pizza.
