This mini bed and breakfast is a hidden jem, absolutely quaint and lovely! Tucked away in a quiet residential area, the garden inside the gate is shaded and peaceful with a beautiful pool. You will truly feel like you live there and there are hummingbirds and butterflies everywhere! The couple that runs the place is friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was incredible. While a tiny place, just call ahead and make sure they have a room available. Completely worth it for the travelers looking for peace and quiet! Also, be aware when driving. Not much signage, just a little plaque, so look carefully for the address!

My boyfriend and I stayed new years eve. We really enjoy B&B's and this was no exception. We loved staying here. The inn was beautiful and cozy! We instantly felt at home once meeting Jim. He took extra time to find us a local place to eat (that would also be open and available on NYE). We ended up staying in and enjoying our room while playing games and enjoying the fireplace in the room. I almost thought we were the only ones staying that night until we had breakfast the following morning. It was quiet and so comfortable. Breakfast was filling and amazing. We loved talking with Jim and Marion and hearing their wonderful stories. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

My boyfriend and I went to stay here over the Fourth of July weekend. Upon arrival, we were immediately offered cold beverages after a long, hot drive, recommended attractions, and provided with maps to good restaurants the owners knew from personal experience, within walking distance and within driving distance (and they were spot on with their recommendations!). While this can often be annoying in other hotels, it was a true service from the Hooks. The house is not only stunning, comfortable, and clean, but affordable. The breakfast provided was fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious...and Marion provided us with scones to take with us to eat whenever we wanted. Jim came to talk with us over breakfast, and was very engaging as well as informative about where to go and what to do while we were visiting Tucson. The house was spacious, and there was no noise from other guests. The pool was immaculate with towels provided. There was a fridge with homemade snacks, water, sodas, and even beer for guests to help themselves to. Everything was simply charming! And here is the best part, for me: when Jim found out I was a teacher through a breakfast conversation, he and Marion gave me a serious discount as a "thank you." They told me it was their way of giving back over the summer for what I do during the school year. I was speechless! To add to my praise, I felt unwell the second morning we stayed there, and they offered to send me breakfast in bed. You cannot find a better place to stay in Tucson. It is within a few minutes' walking distance to U of A, several great restaurants, and in the Sam Hughes historic neighborhood...a very charming walk-around! The Hooks make the Adobe Rose, and they do it extremely well. I sent a thank you card after my stay; I can't remember the last time I felt compelled to do so in any other hospitality situation!

The charming Adobe Rose and her magnificent caretakers/owners, Jim and Marion, provided my wife and I with just the quiet Tucson getaway that we were looking for. We were able to explore the area, or rest peacefully in our lovely room by the pool (and jacuzzi!) with the perfect balance of attention and privacy from Jim and Marion. The resting was all the better, having two such wonderful hearts so nearby! We were welcomed like family during our stay in the holiday season, and this was a delightful and unexpected surprise :-) Thank you both for such a perfect visit!!

So I actually stayed here a few months back, but wanted to give credit to Jim and Marion (owners) for helping make our stay here absolutely memorable. I took my then-girlfriend (fiance after our trip south to Tucson and stay at the Adobe Rose) here one weekend. I wanted to take her to a B & B, and had narrowed my choices between Adobe Rose, and a few others across the state. After much debating over many details, locations, etc., for weeks, I decided to go with the Adobe Rose. From the first phone call to place my reservation and explanation of how this weekend was going to be memorable for my girlfriend and I, Jim was very accommodating, and a pleasure to work with over the phone (this instantly made me happy with my choice...you know, first impression is a lasting impression). Once we arrived (it was a surprise) at the Adobe Rose, everything was amazing. The "package" I ordered was perfect...chilled champagne in our room, and chocolate covered strawberries greeted us out on the patio, along with other snacks. Jim and Marion were very pleasant to chat with, and welcomed us from the second we stepped inside their business/home. Although the house is older and remodeled, it had a ton of character and was decorated in Sante Fe-style (I don't even know what to call it). Our room was great...a very unique bathroom, nice large king size bed, and a kiva fireplace that allowed us to burn wood all night (something you don't get to do in AZ often!). The next morning we were awakened a little early because were right next to the kitchen, but that was alright. We were excited for breakfast and to start the day. We were welcomed to an awesome healthy southwestern-style breakfast, which had several courses, plenty of coffee, and not to forget the scones that the Adobe Rose is becoming famous for. The food was great, all cooked by Marion as the other 6-8 guests and us all visited and learned where the other guests were from and what they were doing in town. Jim was a "server," making sure we all had what we needed at all times. Adobe Rose definitely deserves this 5-start rating. They treated us very well, were tentative the entire time, hospitable, and you could tell they enjoyed what they did. I recommend you stay at least 1 night there and see for yourself how great of a place this is.

Just came back from Tucson Arizona and stayed at the Adobe Rose bed and breakfast ! If you want a fabulous stay in Tucson you need to stay at the Adobe Rose!! Where else can you stay in a place where I slept in a most comfortable bed, the cleanest surroundings, wonderful hosts and as an example ; steel cut oats with banana cream and savory banana cinnamon ice cream!!! Not to mention their scones!! What a wonderful place to stay in Tucson if you really want to get the real flavor of Tucson!!
