Biker friendly and that's about it. Food portions are skimpy! i ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. No mayo came with it. Just a dried up piece of chicken and bread. Waited and waited or a little mayo. Two bites and it was gone. Gawd it was so dry! Came with Potato Salad which was pretty good. Crowded too and small. Very casual place.

I have to say....don't eat in tombstone! Stick to the ice cream and fudge. The people sitting next to us summed up the food well. The women asked her husband how the buffalo burger was and he said "it's just ok." Everything was not ok at the ok cafe. All we ordered was a burger and a sarsaparilla and it took over 30 minutes for us to get the burger. While we were waiting we took a look around at the decor and got a closer look at the staff...scary. Have you ever seen the Texas chainsaw massacre? There were fly's everywhere. The burger (which may have been ground up victims) was nothing to talk about. The coleslaw was flavorless. Not worth the money. This was our second try eating in tombstone and will never again. Do yourself a favor and drive 25 min south to Bisbee for great food.

Went there due to it being the only place in the area that had decent reviews on Yelp or Urbanspoon. And, boy were we disappointed. The service was almost impolite. The food was tasteless. Ok soda's is the most positive I have to say about it. absolutely no charm inside and they wouldn't allow us to sit outside. If the other reviews are true - bring a picnic basket to Tombstone

Good portions. We got the two different versions of the buffalo burgers. They were yummy.

It would have to be A-OK now wouldn't it? I feel as if I have no choice! ;o) It was OK actually but nothing to brag about. The thing I remember best from that evening was an erroneous Brangelina sighting in Tombstone (as if!) that got the servers in a talkative tizzy. It is a very casual place indeed and we did not drink any alcohol since we were on bike but we get to say we ate in Tombstone. La di da...

Really enjoyed the omelettes here. I had an excellent veggie omelette with home fries that were really perfectly cooked. The coffee is as good as any Starbucks ( I had an ice coffee with hazelnut) and much cheaper (I tend to think Starbucks is overrated). The lady who served us was very nice and prompt about getting us our drinks and meal. Stop here for breakfast if you are in tombstone!

Decent diner for breakfast. Right across the street from the OK Corral.

The name of this place is very fitting. The food wasn't bad but it also wasn't good. Same with the service and prices. It was just okay. A lot of the people working around historical tombstone recommended this place and listed it as "the best cookin' in town" but I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone visiting. Food was flavorless and bland, and the restaurant itself was put on the very edge of town.

My husband and the kids and I all had lunch here on Saturday. The food was decent, the service was fast and friendly and the price was acceptable. I had a 1/3 lb buffalo burger with green chilies and cheddar cheese and it was delicious. Also, their French fries were really hot and crispy and just perfect. I'd definitely stop here again when I'm in town.

Once upon a time, many years ago, this is what breakfast places looked like. These days most breakfast places are the lair of hipsters, foodies, gourmands, local-sourcers, artisans, gustatory enthusiasts, and pretentious waxed-moustache hooligans. But long ago, places like this dotted the land and offered darned fine breakfasts at reasonable prices with great customer service. We came here for breakfast and were really pleasantly surprised. Sausage, Biscuits'n'Gravy, and Banana pancakes came out in large portions and were absolutely delicious. The coffee kept flowing and everyone in there was *really* nice. It's nothing fancy, and you won't find the words 'artisan', 'organic', or 'hand-crafted' anywhere, but honestly that's one of the things that I really liked about it.

Overpriced considering what you get (skimpy servings), and impolite/rude service from one of the servers. The owner sat in the dining room eating a delicious-looking dish that we were interested in having as well, but our first server quite rudely told us we couldn't have the same dish because it wasn't on the menu. She added that the owner could have that dish because she was the owner and it was her food . Bad business -- the owner should have had her meal out of the sight of customers if customers couldn't enjoy the same dish. It should be noted that the impolite server disappeared in the middle of our meal and a very pleasant server took over. Even so, the first (rude) server and skimpy portions turned us off of this place. We won't be returning.

They have a two page menu, one for breakfast, one for lunch. They have a wider selection for breakfast. The buffalo burgers are good. Grilled chicken sandwich was 'ok' as was the BLT.

Poor service. They don't take well to negative reviews either, on their Facebook page I was called an "a$$" by an employee for asking a question and posting a negative review.

I thought it was pretty good. Our waitress was adorable and very attentive. The place it's self was just a fun little diner with good country music playing in the background. I feel like this was a typical little diner. Nothing extraordinary about it. I ordered the biscuit and gravy that claimed to be better than my mom makes. I wouldn't go that far- my mom made fantastic B&G! But it was decent. :) Go ahead and give it a try!

Food was decent, portions were great, staff was friendly. I'd definitely stop here again if I came back down to Tombstone.

Pancakes and coffee. You want the pancakes. You want the coffee. I gave 3 stars because the eggs and sausage were good but nothing special, but the pancakes and coffee are outstanding. Light, fluffy melt in your mouth breakfast goodness at a very reasonable price, plus a very welcoming and friendly staff. Definitely would come here again.

Spent the night in Tombstone last weekend, woke up on Sunday morning desperately needing nourishment to combat the night before's encounter with Fireball whiskey. Since it was early morning, my friend and I decided to walk to the OK Cafe for breakfast as it was less than a block from where we were camping (Wells Fargo RV Park). Location: -prime, right on the edge of the tourist strip -easy to find, parking on the street -next door to the Wells Fargo RV Park for those camping/RVing -probably the only place to get breakfast in Tombstone Food: -ordered the one egg plate (with hashbrowns, bacon, toast) and my friend ordered the OK special (a croissant breakfast plate). Both of us were VERY disappointed in our breakfast. -potatoes had the consistency of being boiled then fried for a minute. Half of the potatoes weren't browned at all. No flavor or seasoning whatsoever. -my egg was cooked properly but again, no taste to it, which is strange. You don't realize it, but eggs actually have a very distinct flavor on their own (rich, creamy, etc), but here it's completely tasteless. -croissant sandwich had no seasoning/flavor either, sausage on sandwich was dry. Service: -biker friendly -locals come here (not just tourists) -SLOOOOWWWW to get food. We waited probably 45 minutes for our order to arrive, and the place wasn't that busy. One of our party actually left because he had other stuff to do. -price was under $15 for two people's breakfast with coffee OK Cafe seems like a legit "local" restaurant, but I just can't imagine going back to it at this time. A wait for food (specifically breakfast) should not take 45 minutes. The lack of seasoning was the final bullet in the shootout leading to OK Cafe's untimely death.

20 + yrs of dinning here and never a bad experience. I love the food and the unique and quirky locals who make up the staff. Carmen can make it and she will make if you ask nicely! Still havent been into try the Doc Holliday Challenge but I am looking forward to my next visit.

The OK Café was pretty good. I have nothing negative to say at all. I had a tasty cheeseburger and fries...my friend had their potato soup and a turkey sandwich. The owner was also our server - she was so very busy and running around, but very nice and professional. She was still able to make us feel at home. Our meal was priced well, too. Less than $20. I'd love to go back next time I'm in Tombstone!

Liked it! Would absolutely come here again. Good spot at the end of the main walking area in Tombstone - close to the O.K. Corral and Four Deuces Saloon. The waitress was nice and informative. You get a real locals feel being there. It's not just tourists. While we were there, a local pulled up in his car and the server ran outside and flipped the sign over to closed. She said that for him, it's closed. He laughed and she laughed. It seemed to be all in good fun and not anything dramatic. We had breakfast and the food was excellent and not expensive at all.

You can't be in a hurry if you want to eat here! It's slow as molasses!!! The Buffalo burger is worth the wait though.

Nice little cozy place. My husband had some sausage lunch plate and loved it. I had a turkey BLT sandwich on croissant bread, that was delicious.

4 stars. A cozy, casual restaurant at the mouth of Historic Tombstone. The sign outside reads "Established 1881" and "Home of the Buffalo Burger", so I had to give that a try. The burger was satisfying --nothing fancy or pretentious, just a good, standard burger served with fries. Oh, did I say it was a buffalo burger? We had a tasty halibut sandwich with a side of cole slaw, and a delicious corn chowder. The grilled cheese sandwich was a favorite among the kids. The setting is all right... we walked in a bit after 1 p.m. and the place was pretty packed. The room is surrounded by textured faux brick wallpaper, with a mirrored wall along with a buffalo head, trophy-style. Gives it a bit of a wild west feel, I guess. It's relaxed and casual, good for kids, although there isn't much space when crowded. Service was friendly, but don't be in a hurry --fast food this ain't. In all fairness though, it was a full house. On one of our orders, we requested to "hold the mayo", but it came with mayo anyway. No biggie, we asked for another set of slices of bread and it was quickly brought back, but it does speak about attending to diners' requests. Verdict: if you are visiting Tombstone and not in a hurry to catch the shows or other commitments, this is a good, low-key, choice for lunch.
