Quaint, yet very tasty. They even serve wine in a can. Pure class.

Not sure why there are such good reviews of this place. We got the beef tacos and they were pretty tasteless. The rice, beans and chips were ok, but really how can you screw that up? The salsa was awful, no flavor, just heat. Maybe we had high expectations because we thought this was a taco place we had stopped at before that was awesome. It's been awhile since we had been through this area. As we were leaving the area we saw the little place we had eaten at before, a small blue building on I 70 in Pima, just a few miles west of Safford. :-(

Food is delicious. Their salsa and chips are awesome, and my personal favorite is their chimichangas.

Love their chips and salsa. Staff is always super friendly and attentive. The albondigas and the red chili chimi enchilada style are delicious!

Best salsa in town. By far my favorite Mexican food. I recommend the chicken chimichanga.

Our favorite place to eat in the Gila valley. You won't believe the prices and the service is always amazing! Love there sour cream enchiladas and there #5 combo with bean burro. Only downfall is no AC so in July and August for lunch its a little stuffy.

Mexican food is very easy to judge just by the chips and salsa alone. Unfortunately, the chips and salsa were bad here. I have made dozens of different types of salsas over the years and none of them have came out like the one we were served. It had a texture and flavor that just did not work for me. I ordered the chimichanga meal with machaca and rice and beans. Very boring meal. The chimichanga was small, the tortilla wasn't fried long enough, and the machaca was bland. The rice and beans were middle of the road. I will say the french fries were hot, fresh, and done right. It isn't a 3 dollar sign restaurant thank God. It is about $10-15 per person. I do not recommend and would not come back.

Food was bland. I shouldn't have to salt it up and put salsa on it to taste better. The place is way to tight they need to get creative with placing of the tables.

Ok, why this place is rated with three dollar signs, I will never know. Its the cheapest mexican food for a hundred miles. I am not a fan of arizona mexican food, but, whaddaya do? I like the food here, I just love their salsa. The tacos were good, the rellenos are good too, but for some reason my relleno didn't come with sauce. When I asked about it they asked me what kind of sauce I wanted on it, I chose their enchilada sauce - it was probably better with another sauce on it, but the relleno itself was fairly good. I haven't tried all the mexican restaurants in town yet, but this place is second best so far, and by far the cheapest in town for a sit down place with beer. Atmosphere is good and busy, waitresses are fun, if you know folks in this town, you'll run into them here. I like the place, the family of this chain had 5 or more restaurants and then they gave the restaurants to their kids. I've been to almost all of them, there are differences in the them, so far, my favorite is in Globe. Least favorite is in San Manuel, although S.M. had the BEST salsa until I had the salsa at their Thatcher locale. So far the menudo at all locations is of the bland Arizona style and I am not a fan of menudo that doesnt have red chili in it or when you could peer through a glass bowl of it and watch your fellow diners eating. Unfortunately, most AZ menudo is opaque if not clear and watery. Now for the best news on this locale, the beans are SENSATIONAL. So stick with the bean dishes, their burritos, or as Arizona ding bats call them: burros. My rating is 3.5

Good food. Be cautious when ordering; they charge extra for some things. Always busy, but the service is good.

Very good food and the salsa is nice and spicy.. good priced items and the portions are big. The staff was hard at work but made sure all their customers were satisfied. Fast service and good food, when I come back I'll defiantly have to stop by again.

It's ok, not one of the better mexican food establishments of Safford. It's something different if you have been eating to much of El Charo. I have had the tacos and enchaladas here and again, just ok. Nothing spectacular. Try only if you are close to it and don't want to drive far.
