I usually don't write reviews about where I stay, but I had such a wonderful time here, I just had to. If you go on tripadvisor.com , you'll see how highly rated this place is. They proudly decorate their office with all their AAA 4 diamond & other awards, and rightfully so! Had the pleasure of meeting the older gentlemen/owner who was so pleasant and welcoming. The room was very cozy and looked out to the canyons. You could walk right out onto the patio & I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the morning when the air was nice and crisp. Breakfast was delicious! Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, cinnamon bun, fruit... everything! The service is so quick and polite too. The owner had given us a really good deal on the room. Even at regular price, I would highly recommend staying at this B&B!

There's a reason why all these reviews are 5-star: Canyon Villa is the most relaxing, lovely, beautiful oasis you'll find in the Sedona area. Les and Peg, the owners/innkeepers, see to their guests' every need and wish. The Inn is a haven of tranquility: fountains, gardens, pool, close-up views of the Red Rocks, and Peg's phenomenal breakfasts and afternoon appetizers (not only deliciously creative, but beautiful in presentation). We stayed three nights and can't wait to return. Thank you, Les and Peg and your staff, for a most enjoyable time.

I took my mom on a mini-vacation to this desert place. We loved it. It's surrounded by red rocks on all sides and has a lovely pool. They have sweet treats available every night before bed, in addition to the fantastic breakfasts and scrumptious hors devours served at early evening. The Inn Keepers are super helpful and really nice. Sedona is one of the nicest places in the world.

I hesitate to tell you all how nice this place is because I certainly hope to go back and I don't want them to be so crowded I can't get in. But being the unselfish person that I am I will share with you that Canyon Villa is wonderful. We have never been to a B&B before so were not sure what to expect. Les met us at the door and showed us around and explained everything. This is a modern place so don't expect an old house that has been converted. It is a "house" that was built specifically to be a b&b. So, where do I start? I think I'll just list the pluses. Ample parking. A GREAT GREAT View from our room of the incredible red rocks of Sedona. Delicious scrumptious breakfasts every morning. An incredible view from our room. Delectable appetizers every evening from 5-6. We sat outside by the pool with the other couples staying there among the awesome view of the red rocks. It was fun to meet everyone and exchange ideas of what to do and where to eat. They don't serve wine so bring your own though they do have water and tea available all day and coffee should you request it. Hiking is a mere block from the front door which we did every morning at Bell Rock Park. (that way I didn't feel so guilty eating the breakfast). Did I mention the breath taking view from the breakfast area? All day long either Betty or Fran were there to help us with suggestions of things to do. They are both lovely and helpful people getting us parking passes for the many many hiking trails and Fran sat with us and showed us a scenic route to take to the Grand Canyon. The rooms were comfy with added little things like extra pillows of different shapes and softness...cold water at our door every morning and hot coffee downstairs by 6 am when we left for our hikes (to avoid the heat). Be aware Canyon Villa is outside of the main shopping area of Sedona which is why there is such a great view. We loved being a bit secluded and not in the middle of all the stores and restaurants though there are a few near by across the street. Obviously we loved our stay here and I do think it added a tremendous amount to the entire experience in Sedona. Thank you Les and Peg!

A friend suggested the Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast to my wife. We checked their reviews and booked it. The breakfast hour is from 8 AM to 9 AM and the menu is posted every night. The service is excellent with a first class presentation. There's something for everyone! If you have something to do early, you'll like the fast breakfast. You can be in and out in under 30 minutes. To write that the room was very clean would be an understatement. It would pass anyone's test! There's also a great selection of pillows. The view from the rooms is just wonderful red rock mountains with birds and other wildlife near the B&B. Our queen sized bed was very comfortable! The one thing I hate about reviews is negative entries that were made without talking to the manager first. If you have a problem, please discuss it with the manager so that it can be resolved. If there's something wrong with your room or the building, please tell them so that the next guest will not experience it. No children are allowed at this B&B. We found that refreshing as many parents do not really watch their kids as they run around. They think they're watching their kids but you know what's taking place. Yes, we had two children and watched them like a hawk. We found threats don't work as kids are smarter than you think. We will return when possible to enjoy the view and the many other things to do!

Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast. Travelers' Choice Award for 2012. Paul stumbled across this lovely for our honeymoon. Forget about that its AAA 4 Diamond award and Best of Sedona and several other awards. Pull up this link and understand why the Innkeepers, Peg and Les are sitting on a gold mine. And understand why we felt revived, hated to retreat and vow to return. canyonvilla.com Paul is from Chicago and our drive into Sedona was entertaining. I had to continue to remind him to keep his eyes on the road, pointing out that it would possibly be a long drop down or an impact into a very hard rock. His fascination with the terraine reminded me of my first time to the area. The red rocks are something special, very spiritual and awe struck my husband. We arrived early Sunday to the Sedona area. We sat in the parking lot of the outlet stores in Oak Creek and opened a few of our wedding gifts as we arrived around 9 am...too early for shopping. We wandered around and did some window shopping and then started planning our visit in Sedona. Around 10 am we called and spoke to Peg. We asked if an early check-in was possible? She indicated that she could welcome us at 10:30! We took a short drive and arrived with bags, wine and a picnic basket in hand. Peg showed us to our room and gave a brief tour of the property. She provided that there were refridgerators in the main dining area. We stashed our wine and food items for a picnic later. We shared that we were from Chandler and just married on the day before. Peg shared that if we wanted her husband, Les, would help plan day trips for the next couple days later. We decided to retreat back to our room for a nap. Lit the fireplace and curled up for a nap. Around noon, we walked out back. If you pulled up the website, you will understand what we were looking at. Its not the inviting heated pool or the outdoor fire place or the various rose bushes and flowers on the property. Its the view! WOWZER!!! Red rocks and wonderful mountain views. Canyon Villa is just south of the hustle and bustle of Sedona's tourists. Its nestled in the village of Oak Creek. Its a quiet area and perfect for decompression. The backyard view is of Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock and Courthouse Rock. A-MAZ-ZING!!! We met with Les and he recommended a few places to sight see and Peg recommended a place for a late lunch. We ended up staying in our room. Well, it was our honeymoon! We ended up relaxing and taking in the sight just outside our own room. We played backgammon and drank wine and laughed out loud about our wedding the day before. We even discussed in our first 2 hours on how we will come back to this beautiful place. We ended up being the only ones to show up for Happy Hour Sunday night! Les offered the dip and flat bread to us and we gladly accepted it ALL. LOL!! We sat poolside and watched the sunset. Les started a fire and we watched the bats fly over the pool. We listened for the sounds of coyotes and watched the stars fill the sky. There is nothing like it! The world seems very small when you lay back in a lounge chair, warming yourself fireside as you gaze into space. Monday morning we started we with a hearty breakfast that Peg and her staff prepared. Pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon and of course, their warm cinnamon rolls that are to die for! After breakfast, we headed out for adventure! Firstly, we went to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. I would strongly recommend even if you are not into God. The building is part of the moutain. It's one of a kind. The view is not shabby either. Then we made a quick stop to view Snoopy Rock. I took pictures and then we headed further north on Highway 179 uptown. We drove thru and ended up at Slide Rock. We watched brave residents of Sedona jump in and swim! That river water was cold...my big toe said no thank you. On our way back Uptown we stopped at Midgley Bridge and listened to the sounds of white water, crickets and I'm positive rattle snack in the canyon. We took some pictures and followed a path under the bridge. We were several 100 ft above Oak Creek and if our shoes and bodies allowed we would have ventured further down the mountain. Sedona is a tourist town and there are several shops to find a Christmas ornament. This is our tradition to find a new ball for the tree whenever we go on a trip somewhere. We then had lunch at a sandwich shop nearby. Monday night we planned to drive west on Jack's Canyon Rd to have a picnic at Cathedral Rock instead we watched the sunset poolside/fireside with a couple bottles of wine and our picnic basket. Peg and Les are extremely friendly people and very knowlegdable about Sedona. They have great stories and love to share their home. We checked out Tuesday morning after breakfast ready to stay another night!

!f I could give this place 100 stars, I would! Returned home to L.A. (unfortunately) after a too-short stay at the enchanting Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast Inn, run by gracious innkeepers Peg and Les Belch. We are frequent B&B travelers, and Canyon Villa B&B is, by far, the best one we have found, in the U.S., Canada or abroad. Peg and Les are personable and extremely knowledgeable about Sedona -- there is not a traveler's need they have not anticipated in the rooms, decor, amenities (binoculars in the rooms), service and ambience. The place is gorgeous, and truly feels like visiting a homey, yet elegant manor. It is classy without being stuffy, homey without being threadbare and the views of the majestic Red Rocks -- near enough walk to for a wonderful hike -- are magnificent. Bunnies and other creatures abound right across the fence. We enjoyed the Spanish Bayonet -- which provides a jet bathtub from which to sip Champagne (or traveler's beverage of choice) while gazing at the abundant beauty of the Red Rocks that loom just outside the grounds. Beautifully maintained swimming pool beckons in warm weather. Les and Peg's restaurant recommendations (Cucina Rustica) will leave travelers sated with the best fare in the area. Evenings begin at the inn with scrumptious appetizers (visitors can purchase the Inn cookbook), and breakfasts are abundant, and feature the inn's signature cinnamon rolls. A refrigerator is handy for guests to store their wine, as the inn does not have a liquor license. Cannot recommend Canyon Villa B &B Inn highly enough, and we will soon plan a trip just around it and the surrounding beauty. It's a place we were tempted to keep secret, but why be selfish?

My husband and I had a wonderful staycation here this past weekend, and we have nothing but great things to say about Canyon Villa! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home! Canyon Villa feels very comfortable but still has that added charm and personality that all great bed and breakfasts have. We loved their beautiful library/study area, the telescope, binoculars, their wonderful pool with an incredible view, and our room was lovely too! Food was great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a stay up in Sedona--we stayed for one night and drove up from Phoenix. I received one night's stay at Canyon Villa in exchange for an unbiased review on my blog and social media promotion, but all opinions are 100% my own and totally unbiased.

Great bed and breakfast a little off the beat and path enough to create a quiet, romantic vacation. Rooms are nice size and all different. Hosts Peg and Les are delightful. Staff is very nice. Great breakfast, snacks and views making this the best B&B around. Also part of bedandbreakfast.com diamond collection. Enjoy!

We booked a room here through Bed & Breakfast.com (next time: call the place first!), and quickly found that we had a problem with our trip, and tried to move the date. The website was annoyingly difficult to deal with, but Les and Peg made it very easy and went out of their way to accommodate our request, even though the mistake was not theirs. Outstanding service. Warm welcome, great room, great food, great place.

Found on Expedia, this is the real deal. The owners provided the best service and personalized touch I may have ever had. Beautiful rooms, view, and house to eat, relax, swim, and rejuvenate. The design and decor is a little old fashion for me (I like modern - I'm A 30 year old male), but even still, I love this place. Do not hesitate - book this and get ready for a AAA experience.

Can I give this place 10 stars?!?!? SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! Peg and Les do a fabulous job making sure that the inn is immaculate, inviting, and relaxing. We stayed in the strawberry cactus room, so cute. Our view of Bell Rock and Courthouse Rock was breathtaking!!!! In the room was a flat screen, DVD player and a charger port that was oh so handy. Every morning the most mouthwatering cinnamon rolls you will ever put in your mouth are served up, freshly baked and warm out of the oven. There is also fruit, coffee&tea, juices, and a main breakfast course served. All delicous!! The innkeeper, Fran, was so incredibly helpful and even more personable. I just loved her!! Any questions you have they can answer. Also, they can help you book tours, dinner reservations and give your great hiking recommendations along with maps. The attentive housekeeping cleans your room as you are at your 3 course breakfast. The pool is heated by solar tubes, although the pool never really felt warm- which was fine with me because after spending the afternoon hiking in the hot Sedona sun, a cool dip in the pool is heavenly! Every night, Les lights the outdoor fireplace and guests can enjoy a beverage of their choice out on the patio. Stargazing is incredible there. The Milky Way was directly over us and it seemed as though every star in the sky was visible. I almost forgot to mention afternoon appetizer hour and fresh baked cooked cookies for dessert. The food is delectable!!! They are located just a short drive from Uptown Sedona, which makes for a quiet, relaxing stay. I can hardly wait to visit again! Next time I am in the Sedona area, this is where we will stay for sure!!!
