Wish I could rate them 5-Stars because I really enjoyed my visit to Adobe Grand Villas, but for $$$ per night I'd expect a little bit more personal touch for the reason of our stay with Adobe Grand Villas. Upon checking into the Villas you are asked to sign a waiver and fill-out a brief summary for your visit, but I don't think they pay any attention to the details you write down -it's apparent. We arrived to our Villa with the escort of the Executive Chef/General Manager, Chef Mike. It is a beautiful suite, The Antiquities. A welcoming note and a bag with two water canteens were there for us. Breakfast was amazing! Chef Mike is really creative and his dishes reflect the fine cuisine you'd expect to see when staying at a fine establishment like Adobe Grand Villas. Adobe Grand Villas are located in the middle of the town. Great access to the shops are within driving distance. The environment at the Abode Grand Villas was peaceful, quiet and tranquil. The staff was very nice and helpful. Thanks to Maryanne, Chef Mike and Denaldo for helping to make my stay enjoyable. I do wish Denaldo brought me the breakfast he said he'd bring me since I had an early morning and would miss Chef Mike's breakfast, but it's fine. Denaldo was pleasant and is part of a great team at Adobe Grand Villas. I would definitely recommend Adobe Grand Villas to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Sedona.

I don't know what else you could want. You can't go wrong with this place. Beautiful accommodations--like you see in a magazines of the southwest! When I think of southwest/Sedona luxury, this is how I imagine it. Staff could not be nicer--very accommodating, yet not pretentious. Be sure to get the chef to make you a private dinner--the food is incredible, but you will miss it unless you plan ahead as there is no "restaurant" in this bed & breakfast. We hope to come back again and again.

Great attentive team. We were treated with perfection every step of the way. The food was fresh and unique. Everything we needed was available any moment of the day. The room themes are fantastic and the beds we could sleep in for days !! Strongly suggest this hotel for your next romantic unique get away !

This place is absolutely beautiful! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Highly recommend!

If we could give them more stars we would have. The most unique and delightful place you could imagine staying. We were in the wagon wheel room and it is truly amazing. All the rooms have a different theme and we can't wait to come back so we can stay in another one. The staff is exceptional in every way. So friendly & attentive Simply the best!!! Alan & Susie Sergeant

This place is awesome, most comfortable accommodations in Sedona! The rooms are all differently themed and you can choose the one you want online so I'm not sure why anyone would complain about their room. Fresh baking bread hits you as you open your door, smells amazing. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is served in the main lobby ( which is beautiful) but can be brought right to your room if you prefer. The only negative I could say is that it is a little pricey, but yet I keep coming back! The beds are the most comfortable I've EVER slept in, and we travel a lot. My husband and I love cozying up in the huge pillow soft beds with a nice fire going in front of us...relaxation to the fullest.

A little long winded, but funny... We really enjoyed the beautiful room, the amenities, delicious gourmet breakfast, and the hors de oeuvres available in the afternoons in the lobby area. On one day, we had an early morning planned and weren't going to be able to attend breakfast. They packed breakfast for us! Totally unexpected and such a wonderful touch!!! However, I give this place 4 stars because I felt that if you bring something up to the staff, it knocks them off their "A" game. We came back one afternoon around 3pm and our room had not been cleaned yet. No problem...However, the LARGE TIP that we left had been taken, so we were confused. I went to the lobby and talked to the lady there and she came to the room to check it out, looked around, and apologized. She came back a second time with a member of their cleaning staff and said she needed 10 minutes to clean up the room. The lady finished making the bed, and then left. I looked at the room, and it just looked thrown together. What happened to the beautiful sanctuary that we had loved so much for the past 3 days? Yikes! Beware ladies: Use their colored towels if you will be taking your makeup off, ask for wipes, or bring your own. I completely forgot that I had put some mascara on one day, and used a white washcloth during my shower. I quickly corrected my mistake and washed it out. However, for the rest of my stay, the cleaning staff would leave a stack of makeup remover towelettes for me. I was so embarrassed. My bad, but it was one time...I wasn't abusing your white towels daily. A plus is they do laundry, if you ask, I guess.... But, they seemed to have gotten weird about this too since I was told by Jacqueline (staff member) to bring it to the lobby and make sure to tip whoever brought it back. And I had to bring it NOW NOW NOW, or it could not be done. I am not a weirdo that makes other people wash her undies and bras, so it was just a few pairs of shorts and t shirts. What I really didn't like is that when it was returned, it was placed in a trash bag and left on a chair. Let's work on this Adobe Villas. I suggest maybe placing it in the closet, or ask the guest where it should be placed. But, the large tip was taken... So, good eyes. Lastly, if you ring the bell (I only hit the bell ONE time) in the lobby to get someone's attention, it annoys some of them. One afternoon I rang the bell because I wanted to purchase something, and the guy in the office took forever to come out. He looked angry that I rang the bell, and was really short with me and my husband. Overall, this place is tranquil with good vibes from the red rocks surrounding it. But the staff needs to tweak their customer service and room cleaning skills. I loved the feel of the place which makes up for the annoyances we experienced.

Disney Land for adults :-) Awesome theme rooms. Definatley will be back to try another room, 4 sure. Personal touches in every nook & cranny. Not your normal sterile chain hotel enviorment!!! Talk about WOW. Very special, felt like a VIP :-) Luved Secret Garden (Lunch) & Dahl & DiLuca's (Dinner), Did NOT like Rene's (overpriced & Stuffy) nor Martini Bar (Dingy, Yuck). Really liked Paige Springs Winery (balcony views!) and Jerome - (awesome hillside cowboy town - ck out Jerome Winery Tasting room & Grand Hotel: Ck out Asylum Dinning Room).

Words simply cannot express how wonderful our stay at the Adobe Grand Villas was! I needed a break from the hustle and bustle of life in Houston (and a break from real estate!), so hubby and I decided to go over the Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, we had no clue that this is rainy season in Sedona, so we arrived in the area and were greeted by some serious rain! But we didn't let that dampen our spirits! We arrived at the Adobe Grand Villas (for our 4 day stay) and checked in. After being taken on a tour of the facility (I cannot recall the gentleman's name but he was there every day that we were and so helpful!), we were shown to our room. We booked the White Dove Villa because the pictures of the view that were shown online were magnificent. Unfortunately, the view is there but it's off in the distance, so the picture was a little misleading, but it wasn't the end of the world for us since we didn't intend to just hang out on the balcony (especially since it was raining!!). The White Dove Villa is also one of the furthest from the lobby and dining areas, so it was nice to have that privacy that hubby and I so crave! Our Villa was beautifully appointed, with fireplaces and luxurious bathrooms with huge walk in shower & jetted tub. The lighting at the mirrors was a bit dark, so it was a challenge getting my makeup just right, but again, no biggie! They provide you with fresh baked bread upon arrival, and each day unless you specify you do not want it. We opted not to get it on the other days, not because it wasn't good, but we're just not huge "bread and butter" kind of people. They provide you with a fabulous breakfast. Out of the 4 days we were there, we only ate breakfast here once. What I thought was nice was that, knowing we had plans to climb Bear Mountain on one of the days, and also go Jeeping another day, they made us breakfast to go since we were heading out at 7 a.m. (breakfast isn't served in the dining room until 8:30 a.m. I believe). They also provide coffee, tea, and afternoon hor d'oeuvres. Just lots of little "touches" that made us feel special! They also fill the fridge with water, Hansen's soda (which hubby hadn't had in a couple of years, so he drank all of them) and provide you with a basket of various snacks that you can take with you on your adventures into Sedona. While we didn't spend a lot of time there at the Inn, we are now sold on the Adobe Grand Villas as our "must stay place" for future trips to Sedona! The staff went out of their way to make us feel special and we are so glad they did!

The first and best bed and breakfast inn ever! We got the wilderness suite. Rain fall shower. Had our own reserved parking. His and her sink. The fireplace was perfectly located in the middle of the room. Bathroom and bedroom shared the fireplace. The bath tub was located right in front of the fireplace and adjacent was a huge glass window of the patio and a slight view of round rock. The bed was tall and require steps for those who needs it. They had a small tv. Didn't even use it. They have a CD player and some extra CDs like be Beatles. Bring your own If you like. Small kitchenette with a small refrigerator and sink. Fresh made bread every day. It was such a beautiful place and made our trip more enjoyable.
(5)Nikki R.
We booked the Twin Kyody after I did extensive research online. I am so happy we went with that villa. Our view was nice and rather private. It didn't overlook the center area of the villa property, which meant it was quiet when we sat out on our patio. Our Villa was gorgeous! It had 2 fireplaces, a huge king bed, lavish bathroom with huge walk-in shower & jetted tub. The kitchenette was another great addition because they have a bread maker in it and you can get fresh baked bread daily! This was one of those extra special touches that was quite nice. They provide you with a fabulous breakfast. Of the three days we ate breakfast there, we did not have a repeat meal. The other great thing about the breakfast is that is rather hearty. We were full for most of the day and we didn't always need a full lunch, which was fantastic. They also provide coffee, tea, and afternoon hor d'oeuvres. We had an in-villa private dinner. It's a 4-course dinner and they deliver each course to your villa. The pacing of the meal was fantastic and my husband and I liked the experience of enjoying the dinner in our villa because we were able to relax on our patio in between course. Chef Michael worked with us the morning of our dinner to make sure it was going to exceed our expectations. My husband and I each got something different for each course so we could try one another's meals. Each bite was better than the next. This is a "must do" when staying at Adobe Grand Villas.

Adobe Grand Villas is a perfect place to stay in Sedona. Our stay started with Julie the innkeeper checking us in and giving us a tour and answering all of our questions. She made us feel at home and welcome. The next morning we went down for breakfast and Jacqueline made us the best omelet I've ever had. She came to our table to describe the breakfast and her sweet personality and French accent won us over. On the morning of our departure, Jacqueline stopped by our breakfast table and shared with me her grandmother's omelet recipe and technique. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. We stayed in Sagebrush. The bed was so comfortable and after hiking most of the day, we were able to get a great night's sleep. The bath towels are so soft and smell great. We will definitely stay at Adobe Grand Villas during our next stay in Sedona!
(5)Rachael M.
Most unique room we've ever stayed in; the visions room. Close to a variety of hiking areas by car, as well as restaurants. We would give staff 3 of 5 stars but everything else deserves 5. We really enjoyed staying here.

We never dreamed we would come to Sedona for a four-day getaway weekend and the weather would be cold and rainy! The good news is that our decision to stay at the Adobe Grand Villas has been one of the best choices in accommodations we have ever made! As we sit snuggling by the fireplace in our villa (the Sagebrush Suite) on this rainy Saturday afternoon (when we were supposed to be out on a self-guided ATV adventure) we thought we would take some time to pen a "review-in-progress" halfway during our stay at this amazing boutique property. There is so much we want to gush about, we thought it would be helpful to offer our thoughts in a classic Top Ten format: 10. Centrally located to everything you want to see and do in Sedona. However, when you are inside the grounds of Adobe Grand Villas you feel like you are a million miles away from the tourist traffic and bustle. We loved a partial view of the Red Rocks of Sedona from our balcony. 9. Beautiful grounds and landscaping with lots of outdoor art and pottery. Everything is designed and executed with elegant Adobe/Southwestern flair and blends with the surrounding landscape. 8. An outdoor hot tub next to the pool (towels provided) that is open year-round; the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking and outdoor activities. 7. Top-notch service. Starting with the reservation request and confirmation process, everything was handled promptly and professionally. Links to local dining, on-site dining menus, activities and on-site spa services were provided ahead of time. We appreciated the short tour of the property when we checked in. Daily housekeeping and turn down service (including ice delivery) was fantastic. 6. Complimentary breakfast for each day of your stay. You choose whether you want to eat in the dining room or have breakfast delivered to your villa. There are also complimentary daily hors d'oeuvres and fresh baked cookies available in the lobby each day around 5pm. 5. Even the smallest of Adobe Grand Villa's fifteen suites measure 850+ square feet. The first apartment we lived in, as a married couple, was smaller than this! If you run into bad weather during your visit (it is POURING rain and really cold in Sedona as we write this), it is a pure pleasure to spend the day relaxing in the suite with the fire blazing and the sound of the rain outside. 4. The on-site chef, Michael, is a gem. Do not miss the opportunity to make a private dining reservation and have him prepare a gourmet meal for you. Choose to have your meal served in the privacy of your villa, or dine in the well-appointed and cozy dining area in the hotel's common area. Meals are BYOB, which allowed us to bring some locally crafted Arizona wine, which we purchased during a visit to the Page Springs Vineyards the day before. 3. The warmth and hospitality of the Innkeepers and Staff. You are truly treated like a member of the family and no request or question is too small or troublesome. 2. The room décor is not only luxurious but also extremely functional. You feel like you are a guest in a million-dollar private home. Our villa featured two fireplaces, top quality sheets, a pair of overstuffed chairs, a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, a private balcony with table and chairs. The list goes on and on; it is unbelievable how much thought and passion went into the design of this property! 1. A cornucopia of thoughtful and complimentary in-villa amenities such as fresh-baked bread daily (in your own bread machine), wine glasses, cocktail tumblers and ceramic coffee mugs, tableware, coffeemaker, mini-refrigerator stocked with bottled water and soda, microwave, his & her robes, lighted make-up mirror, XM music channels, free Wi-Fi and lots and lots of outlets to keep all of your gadgets charged. Don't hesitate to book here --- you will NOT be disappointed. It is worth every penny, especially for a romantic special occasion getaway. We've posted a couple dozen photos to help bring our words to life!

Came here to celebrate my BDay weekend. My first time to Sedona and Grand Canyon. After researching the local hotels and B&Bs we booked the two bedroom Casa de Ryan with amazing reviews and definitely were not disappointed. You would never know this place exists- it is tucked away but minutes to the main road and trails. From the minute we walked in the staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. The décor is very nice and artsy and the room was clean and grand. Only issue there was the missing set of utensils as well as the bed has two layers of soft foam which we ended up removing. But all the towels, snacks/teas as well as toiletries are higher quality than most so they definitely have no skimped on anything here. You even have a fresh baked bread waiting for you and they will make it each day upon request- a nice touch.Chef Michael is a true culinary artist and will accommodate your special diet needs upon request. Food was amazing. The grounds are very beautiful and colorful. I did have a chance to get a massage which was pleasant. Overall a great location, superb service and amenities close to everything. Only thing I would recommend to the villas- humidifier should be provided upon request. For folks with allergies (like myself) the air dryness was so intense that I had a bloody nose every morning when I woke up and it was hard to breathe/sleep at night. Regardless- this place is a gem in Sedona and we hope to come back.

Our experience was one of the most relaxing and satisfying experience we have had in decades. The meals prepared by the chef were amazing. The grounds were astounding. The rooms were incredible. The bathroom and bathtub were beyond compare. The location is VERY quiet and the Milky Way is dizzying. We had the BEST couples massage ever, and we are massage folks. It was an almost spiritual experience...and we are not the standard crystal rubbing Sedona type people. The experience overall was truly incredible. We plan to go again this year in the few moments we get to spend away from work. Adobe Grand Villas is the perfect recharge.

This place was great. My wife and I came here for some much quiet time and we couldn't have picked a better place. Service was excellent. We stayed in the Tuscany Villa, which was nice and very spacious. When we checked in, the smell of fresh baking bread filled the villa as they had a bread machine right in the room. You can have fresh bread made each day if you like. The room villa itself was amazing and romantic. Fireplace on a timer as well as a wonderful large walk in shower and a whirlpool tub. Dinners are pricey so we ate out most of the time but breakfast was included and was very good. They had wonderful snacks and appetizers late afternoon. Will definitely stay hear again.

Let me tell you about one of my favorite places in the world. This hotel has wonderful staff, individualized rooms, and tasty food. I have stayed in the hacienda suite, which is basically a whole apartment, with a full sized kitchen and all, the silver spur room-which is beautiful and the french quarter room. You must try some of chef Michael's food, or Jaquelines breakfasts as they are all very tasty and fresh. The details of every room and every facet of the inn are perfect, such as the coffee bar always being stocked, the towels always folded, the food fresh, the shampoo and conditioners are high end, the warm baked bread in the rooms when you arrive, and the afternoon hors d'oeuvres being scrumptious. You can tell the staff cares about your needs and are eager to help. Just being on the property makes you feel like you are special. If you are in the beautiful Sedona area, you must stay here as it is a perfect home base for your Sedona getaway. Gabe/Mary

Unbeatable value in Sedona. We were able to make a few adjustments upon arrival and stayed in "White Dove". The Innkeeper greeted us and escorted us to our villa while explaining all of the amenities of the faculty. We were absolutely blown away upon entering out villa. The facility itself was incredible but the vistas I all directions were indescribable. This is the only place I will ever consider staying if we return to Sedona. The inclusions are too many to list and the staff is beyond accommodating. It feels like coming home but with a waitstaff! The grounds are incredible, the breakfasts were great, all snacks included plus desert in the lobby every evening!? Too much!!! I loved it and my wife is ready to move in! Thank you Adobe Grand Villas for an amazing experience!
(5)Pam G.
All i can say is wow, this may be the nicest place I have ever stayed. The villas are beautiful and huge. I was a little afraid that they might be cheesy with the themes, but they are very classy and no detail was overlooked. Jacqueline, the breakfast chef was so charming and welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious. They had a menu of the day, but you could also order something else if you preferred. Every morning we went with the breakfast that they were offering and they were always wonderful. She even printed a copy of one of the recipes for us and had it left in our room. When she found out we had to leave before breakfast on our last day, she had a breakfast packed for us and left in our room the night before. When we arrived there was a giant fruit basket in the room with a card thanking us for choosing Adobe Grand villas. That fruit basket was our lunch almost every day we were there, and we still didin't eat everythIng. It was overflowing with fruit, cheese, crackers, nuts and chocolate. Oh yes, they also have bread makers in the room and they make a load of cinnamon raisin bread which is warm and waiting for you when you arrive. If you wanted more bread, you would simply ask for it, or leave the sign in your room requesting more bread and it would be there waiting for you when you returned in the evening. There is an afternoon h'ors douerves every day, but most days we didn't make it back in time to enjoy it. They also put out fresh cookies each evening, a different kind each night. For the service, the amenities, and the rooms, Grand Adobe Villas is well worth the price.

You are simply not going to find a better place. I worked with Julie info@adobegrandvillas.com to plan a trip for my wifes birthday and she and the staff really came through on a great weekend. Fresh bread waiting in the room upon arrival...do I really need to say anymore?
(5)Laura M.
Came here for a romantic weekend, and the Adobe Grand Villas met all expectations! When we arrived, we were greeted by their friendly staff. Food was also in the lobby to welcome us, along with a loaf of bread to bring to our room. Our Villa was very romantic, huge with fireplaces, comfortable bed, and jacuzzi bathtub. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning and was good. We definitely plan on coming back!!!
(5)Gwen O.
Agv is single handedly the most romantic b&b we have ever been to. The food is excellent and the staff is superb! We come here every year for our anniversary and love it!
(5)Grace E.
Woweee wow wow!!!! Adobe Grand Villas is as rich and amazing and gorgeously kept as a bazillionaire's mansion pad. Each room has it's own theme. I stayed in the Timbers villa with my mom and a friend, and it was big enough for all 3 of us! Didn't even want to leave the gorgeousness of this room to go sightsee! Spent a very long and luxurious time soaking in the large jacuzzi tub, lounging in the seated area, drinking some wine, and napping/peacing OUT on the most comfortable bed in the world! The people that work there are so sweet and so attentive to your needs. Ask them for any recommendations for what to do during your stay in Sedona. The breakfast, coffee and cookies made in the kitchen are DyNaMite! Well done, Adobe Grand Villas!!! WELL DONE!!!
(5)Bill D.
Sedona is not what I always had pictured it to be.For some reason I always imagined a scruffy town full of dread-locked, crystal waving hippies and a ton of vegan/gluten free restaurants serving wheat grass smoothies and tofu stir fry. I'm sure that these things exist, but my experience was nothing short of brilliant. Winding through the switchbacks into a verdant canyon, traversing red rock lined, clean enough to eat off of streets, I arrived at Adobe Grand Villas and was immediately struck by the charm and unpretentious feel of the place. Cozy, warm...not stuffy in the least. The pool was perfect and the lobby had all the details worthy of a first class resort, such as multiple beverage options (including fresh lemonade and a refreshing rosemary water) and changing snack options. If you have never had the pleasure of a personal chef preparing a meal for you, then you need to have Chef Mike Merilli introduce you to a wonderful experience not to be matched. I had the most perfectly cooked duck with an Armagnac and fig sauce that was so balanced and delicious that I had to stop myself short of licking the plate. Spectacular. He doesn't just cook for you, but is engaged and friendly, as is all of the staff. You couldn't find a more helpful and open crew. Note, I have not yet spoken of the room. This is how amazing this place is. Even before you click the key and open the door to your space, you are already primed to be wowed. And the room is no disappointment at all. Huge bed with hand carved wooden frame, a stone fireplace and a kitchen area designed for cozy in room dining with a bread machine that they load for you on request. Yes. Fresh bread baking in your room. Fantastic. The walk in shower with the pottery urn "shower head" and Jacuzzi tub are awesome and the view from the patio is perfect for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Did I mention the bread? Yeah. And probably the most comfortable bed I have ever sunk into. The property is conveniently located to everything and there is a nice hiking trail less than a mile away. If you go to Sedona and you have the choice, I can think of no better place to stay. I have traveled over 44 states and 5 countries and this was the best experience I can remember. Do it.

A break from city life was in order, so we hopped in the car, drove through the night (and day, and part of another night), and stayed at the Adobe Grand Villas in Sedona for two nights. We had requested the Timbers villa but it wasn't available, so we ended up in the Desert Flower villa which was lovely as well. You know what the first day of your new life would be like if a family that's way nicer than yours and has more money adopted you? That's what it's like to stay here. From the impeccable and friendly service, to the smell of freshly baking bread in your room every afternoon, to Chef Michael's delicious breakfasts, this place is truly a home away from home. I can't say enough nice things about the quality of the rooms (fireplace next to the bathtub, walk-in rain showers, balconies with great views of Cathedral Rock), and the staff is very helpful in finding things to do in the area - which is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The hot tub was relaxing after a long drive as well. This place will definitely be top of our list next time we visit the area. It's located in West Sedona, so it's away from the hustle and bustle of "downtown" but all the shops and restaurants are within easy driving distance.

I found this place online travel site. I was disappointed that the service is not at all for over $ 500 per night. The staff are not trained for such service. Room are spacious but dark and decorated with different themes. The lady talk too much about flower arrangement and bread made in my room instead of bring in. Found out that they plug in to electronic bread maker and couple of not fresh flowers... What a big deal? After Paying such high price? I agree the above review about junk snack provided in our room. Of course I never touch them. In order claim AAA diamond service they need to work much harder. Later on I visited another AAA hotel it was much better. I do not understand how this grand villas became No. 1 in Sedona. Explain?!

We stayed at this B&B for 2 nights, and what an unforgettable experience. We booked the Silver Spur Villa, and this property was well worth it. We have stayed at many top-rated hotels, and the personalized service here was a completely new and delightful experience for us - one that even the Broadmoor could not match. The freshly baked bread was a lovely gesture - it made the place immediately feel like home. Their complimentary drinks and snacks in the room was also a nice touch. When we stop by the main room, there is always someone greeting us asking what they can do to make our stay comfortable. Chef Michael offered to cook us breakfast, and also provided us with info on the best hiking trails (West Fork Trail) and ghost town to visit (Jerome, AZ). We are checking our calendar now to see when we can go back, and this time, stay longer. It was such a treat to be at Adobe Grand Villas, and we look forward to our next visit!

We stayed in 4 of these villas on separate occasions the past year. They are all gorgeous and very well appointed. Quality construction and beautiful architecture. Their maid service is the best I've ever seen and deserves to be commended ~~ we never found so much as speck of dust or stray hair. All of the staff is great, and of course Ingrid is wonderful. We love staying here! The only thing we didn't like was the lack of full-time room service, as this is the kind of place that once you get in the room you do not want to leave. Having to go out for lunch and dinner, and having such limited breakfast options, was a TOTAL bummer, especially when one considers the price per night. You can arrange for your own private dinner by the chef, but that takes planning and advance notice ~~ who wants to do that while on vacation? Not us. You are greeted by fresh bread warming in your personal bread maker, there are snacks and a few drinks in the little refrigerator. The fireplaces are awesome and the giant bathtubs (with their own fireplaces) make for an exquisite, relaxing experience. Top notch! We stay here as much as possible and look forward to doing such again.

I would confidently recommend the Adobe Grand Villas to anyone going to Sedona, Arizona. I just finished a three night stay there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The free gourmet breakfast is different and delicious every day, as is the 4 o'clock snack. I loved the unlimited free bottled water and free in room snacks. The free fresh baked bread daily in my villa was delicious and smelled incredible. The microwave, and dinnerware in my villa came in handy. The huge bathroom and jacuzzi spa tub with bath salts provided was also fantastic. The very best thing though, was the 3 course dinner served in my villa by the chef/innkeeper. It was mouth-watering delicious and worth the $20 fee to have it served in my villa. The free concierge service was also helpful. Oh, and the fresh baked cookies in the lobby everyday were yummy. I would love to stay there again.

I'd give the friendly staff five stars, but I was disappointed by the misrepresentation on their website, which led me to believe I was booking an uplifting all-light-colored room. I clicked on the Cactus Flower villa picture and proceeded to book for that room. What we got was a dark cavern of a suite. Everything was covered in dark wood (the Wagon Wheel villa) and dimly lit with bare-bulb lanterns. If you like to stay in a shrine to John Wayne, this is for you, complete with a fake rifle on the covered wagon bed, handguns hanging from the ceiling, barbed wire, ropes, cow skull, insect-eaten wood and MANY rusty pumps for faucets (the water isn't rusty). It didn't give me the light, uplifting feeling I sought. I did like the spaciousness. The bed requires agility to get into and out of. You have to step on the shin-banger step, avoid the hard, high wooden frame, then plop down into the lower bed. The bed was comfy, though. Getting out of the bed in the dark is tricky. I missed the step and fell back, almost crashing through the glass door. The room was kept clean. They provide great Aveda products. Our patio was not private--anyone walking by could see us over the short wall, so by "private," they mean seating is reserved for you. Also, the photo on the website home page implies there's a view of the rock formations from the property at ground level. We had to walk several blocks for a view. The poppyseed muffins tasted like they were made from a box mix, and they were burned. Bread pudding was fabulous. Breakfast crepes were bland. Fresh applesauce was great. Big iron barstools by the pool are uncomfortable. Snacks in the room were junk that I'd never eat: Cracker Jack, Sun Chips, rock-hard granola bars. For $491 per night, I expected Clif bars and Power Bars, dried fruit, fresh fruit -- more fresh, nutritious food, not vending machine junk. There was a fabulous fresh mint chocolate for the turndown service. The pool is tiny, a big cold bathtub.Take one stroke and you're at the other end. The jacuzzi was great. Gardens are beautiful, full of hummingbirds.

My husband and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon. Holy crap we couldn't have found a more beautiful place to stay in Sedona. The property is small, but extremely lush in flowers, trees, and various plants. Because it is a "boutique bed & breakfast", they do have breakfast in the morning. The chef, an adorable little french woman, will gladly accommodate any eating fancies you may have (in this case, my hubby is vegetarian). She will also have your food delivered to your room if you wish. They have fresh afternoon h'or deurves and evening pastries in the lobby area every day, aaand freshly baked bread waiting for you in your room. The rooms themselves are magnificent. Every room has a theme. We stayed in "Red Cinders", which graced us with the most comfortable king sized bed I've ever slept in, a jetted tub, a walk in shower, a couple's sink, plush robes and slippers, a kitchenette area with fridge, table and chairs, sink, and microwave, a fireplace, private patio, tv, and two large sitting chairs. They also have a very nice pool (it's small) and a hot tub with jets that'll blow you out of the water. They do offer spa services, as well. The boy and I had a couple's massage, he the deep tissue and I the prenatal. He couldn't have been happier with his deep tissue. I have had better prenatal, but it was alright. Warning though, the therapists can only accept cash gratuity, so be prepared because these services aren't cheap. Overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay at Adobe Grand Villas. If you don't mind shelling out some extra cash, definitely splurge here. It's worth every penny.
