Food was bland but it could have been my fault for not figuring out the sauces. I think they are a bit limited on verity as well. Also, for the price, most of the time these types of places are all you can eat. The place is clean and staff seemed friendly.

Love the food. The more sauce, the more flavor! Food is fresh and the owners are nice! Thumbs up in my book

A great spot for a healthy meal! You choose the ingredients so it is great for us. We are a family of vegetarians and one vegan. We had a great meal the other night. Great for kids as they get excited about making their bowl. A fun addition to Prescott!

I have been to Mogies just once and I really enjoyed it. I plan to return for sure. I did happen to go when it was not busy. One of the cooks told me that at times there can be an hour's wait. Hummm. I could see how that would happen very easily. Anyway, I got the medium bowl and piled it high and deep. They don't mind over-piling, which is good. It is a psychological thing to make you think you are getting a better deal. Lol. It works, and the price is reasonable anyway. Then, I recommend to go back for more sauce after its cooked and add some more. Yes!

Well I can't blame the flavor on anyone but myself since I picked the mediocre sauces, too thinly sliced meats that were frozen together, as well as frozen noodles and veggies... The rice wasn't frozen did kinda taste like minute rice though... The guys cooking were friendly, wish I could say the same about the lady cashiering... All in all I loved every bit of it.... once I left! And drove straight to Walmart for some Imodium A.D. And toilet paper! Whelp! Hopefully it's better for others!

Over priced and the food is not that great. For myself spent $18.00 on lunch including tip and I tipped the kid cooking the food separately. Couldn't finish medium bowl and asked for a to go box. The host was going to charge me .50 cents for a to go box. I gave him a $5.00 bill and an annoyed look. He just gave me the box. Hope it goes out of business.

The food is fantastic, and very reasonably priced. You can fill your bowl as high as you'd like, plus there's cucumber salad, soup, and white or brown rice. Ambience can be bought, and I'm sure, with time, they'll improve, but the food is perfect. I'll definitely be back.

A sad state of affairs. I came here during their first week of opening. Then came back a few more times. each time I came back something changed and not for the better. My last visit was a disappointment. Sadly I now have to say I'm not a fan of this place anymore. I recently went back to have diner and was surprised to see that the meats are just frozen shaved slices of tasteless junk. I mean you can see it, its just paper thin frozen meat. not fresh by any means. The Brown Rice was just barely warm. To top it off some things ended up in my wife's bowl that she did not pick. There was broccoli and bamboo shoots in her bowl and she did not select that, so it makes you wonder how well they clean the grill after each use. that was a enough for my wife to call it quits on this place. very sad, it started off good then just fell apart.

I love Mongolian BBQ and to get it I normally would have to go down to Phoenix. No more!!! This place is just as good as any Mongolian BBQ I've had and its in Prescott! Huge portions, pick what you want in the bowl and what sauces and the watch it cook on the grill. Easy, fast and delicious!!!

My grandmother and I decided that we wanted to try Mogie's Mongolian Grill after seeing everyone raving about how good it was. We both agreed that the service was terrific and the food was just as good. I can't wait to visit Mogie's again with some of my close friends! Thanks for the excellent food and service!

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time tonight. It was about 6:30 pm on a Saturday night. It wasnt very busy so we managed to get our food quickly. The food was very good and we got the medium bowl. It was plenty for one person. Plus there was meso soup and rice. The cooks were very nice and the staff came over to check on us once we sat down. The reason I gave it three stars is because it was much like a cafeteria style resturant, they were playing early 90's alternative music (thought that was odd for a mongolian resturant), and they gave us bathroom style paper towels as napkins. I guess we must have set our expectations higher. We will certainly return, but if they just made a few minor upgrades they could easily be a five star resturant. Again though, the food was amazing.

Pros: clean and tidy, friendly service. Cons: everything else. First off a Mongolian grill should be all you can eat or at least have it as an option. The selection of veggies was a little lacking, the exclusion of snap peas was especially disappointing to me. Being able to mix your own sauce is a cool idea, but in practice it is a pain, and a bit of a cop-out, they should really have at least a few premixed sauces. I attempted to make one of the sauces recipes that were listed on their blackboard, sadly some of the necessary components were either unlabeled or absent, seriously label the sauces, not just some of them all of them, how the heck am I suppose to know what they are when they are not labeled. They cook managed to burn my food, not horribly so but enough to give it an off taste. The chicken was dried out. The steamed rice was dried out, rice should not be chewy but this stuff was. Miso soup is super simple but somehow they even managed to mess that up. I ended up leaving 90% of my food on the table when I left. I then went to a fast food restaurant and ordered off their value menu being that I wasted $14 buck on lunch already. I will not be going to this place again.

Had lunch on a Thurs afternoon. Service was very fast. The variety of selections for your Mongolian BBQ lunch is outstanding. Food is fresh, and is refreshed on a regular basis. I am a military servicemember and have had Mongolian BBQ all over the world. This eatery ranks with the best of them. Will return.

Am I seeing this right? A Mongolian grill in the middle of nowhere Arizona? Well this I have to try. To my surprise this is a non-Asian run business. Not to my surprise I was the only Asian brotha in the house. The owners are amazing business people who turned an existing concept into a modern infused one. Food: Pick your own meats and create your own entree or noodle dish. If it doesn't come out right...well you're at fault. That's the beauty of this type of business. Service: Very friendly staff. Environment: This place is clean and bright. Something you don't see often in a Mongolian Grill. Price: Fairly priced for the type of food. Food: 4 Service: 4 Environment: 4 Price: 4

I came here over the weekend with my family. The staff were very nice, but very young. May I suggest they have at least someone teach them how to make decent steamed rice. Their rice looked and felt like the stuff you use for packaging. As for the taste, it was terrible! Bad rice can make or break the meal. Get the real rice and not some rice out of a box. This place may feel like the real deal to non-Asians, but to an Asian family like us, we know what's up. The side dishes were coleslaw and cucumber salad which looked and tasted like it had been sitting there all day, even worse, it looked like left overs from the day before. Nothing authentic about this place. Sorry guys. As nice as you all where, our experience was a huge thumbs down. Never again!

Great healthy food. Plenty of sauce choices and meat and vegetable choices. Reasonable price for all the food you get. Will visit anytime I'm in Prescott for lunch. Employees seemed interested in the fact that my experience was positive.

Pretty good Mongolian Grill. Food is good service and is friendly, but $15 a bowl is definitely more pricy compared to other oriental grills I've been to.

Short version: Complete disappointment. The staff was all really friendly, the place was pretty clean, there was a reasonable selection of food. Sauces and dry spices left a lot to be desired... In fact there were no spices at all. The service on the other hand... Terrible. The grill is half the size it should be at best. There was a guy in his late teens or early 20s that was half way quick and a kid in his early teens that was down right slow. I honestly don't even know how he was legally old enough to work there. The younger guy put my food on and cooked only it, the older kid then took two orders for himself, both of which were done before mine... leaving the meat severely over cooked and dry. I couldn't even taste the teriyaki I had used. There may have been room for 1 or 2 more meals on the grill, but that's about it and there were still 8 people behind me waiting for their food to be cooked when mine was on. Even if they had a larger grill set up like you typically see at Mongolian grill... the grillers there couldn't have kept up. They took my wife's back to cook in a wok because they were so far in the weeds, and the guy said he would be right back for mine. Didn't come back until my wife's was done and mine was already on the grill. She was pretty much done with her food by the time I sat down. This is the only one of about half a dozen Mongolian places I have been to that wasn't all you can eat. Though this is really frustrating, the large bowl is plenty of food... I couldn't finish mine (it was dry and flavorless so that didn't help). And at $12 is substantially cheaper than the ~$18 or so you might spend on the normal all you can eat option at other places. I personally always make 2-3 small bowls so I can try a bunch of different stuff, which is why I prefer the other places. This also gives you a chance to try new things rather than playing it safe. I also understand this is Prescott and people are typically very cheap, so I can see having the "once through" options. Just like the other places. But I don't see a reason to not offer the all you can't eat for $17.95 or something. And this is just a pet peeve... But how the heck are you gonna charge $.50 for a to go box? Normally all you can eat, no to go box, I get that. But I don't get it... Not that I wanted to take home the tasteless over cooked food I had anyway, just on principle that's irritating.
