Portions for to go are small, they use really small Chinese takeout boxes for main entrees and larger boxes for rice, I've never seen takeout have these half sized boxes that resemble the larger ones. Some of the specialty items inconsistently are prepared with barely no shrimp or chicken and they are very watery or saucy. Hit or miss. Recommend using larger standard Chinese takeout boxes for all your entrees, stop using s smaller boxes for sweet and sour pork or chicken and stop using single plastic meal containers for soupy Kung pao. Make your Kung pao like every other Chinese restaurant's.

Food was ready really fast, staff was friendly. Food was great too. Only concern is that I heard a microwave turn on while waiting for my food in the empty restaurant. I hope they don't nuke my food? Anyone who knows anything realizes the severe health risks to using a microwave. Anyway, other than that I loved it. Quick and sweet and yummy.

They got here in a timely manner (30min) for delivery to our home, which is hard to find in town. Our dinner is still piping hot & taste great! The ingredients are fresh and not greasy. Seasoned very well (esp. the vegi fried rice) and exactly what I ordered! The gentleman that delivered was very polite and he might have been the chef bc he was wearing a chef coat. I am beyond excited to have found this place! I love chinese and we always get it down in the valley so its nice to have a great place close to home. You can tell they take pride in their food!

For something located close to downtown, this place wasn't bad at all. I was with a party of 11 folks, and we were all served promptly and food came in quickly. No one was disappointed with their food. The staff was friendly, and accommodating with our last minute requests, and we even all had separate checks, and that didn't faze anyone there. The food was quite delicious and I even ordered pad thai off their "Thai" menu, which although wasn't extensive, but it wasn't tiny. Definitely at the top of my list for a place to come back to the next time I have cravings for Chinese food.

Buddha's delight it's not. We ate lunch and ordered from the lunch special menu. Everything was greasy or soggy (ordered eggplant tofu, Buddha's delight, fried rice and lo mein). Service was friendly and tea was good, but we won't be going back.

Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. We had hot and sour soup and orange crispy beef. Very yummy. Would recommend if you are downtown Prescott.

They delivered to work! Yes!! They were fast! They faxed their menu, including lunch specials to work. They offer GREAT lunch specials at about half the price of local competitors. Good quality Chinese and Thai food. I ordered the honey shrimp and the eggplant tofu, and I ate them both with pleasure. The Asian eggplant is tasty in the sauce that is provided, and the tofu triangles, though small, were a great complement to the texture of the soft cooked eggplant pieces. The honey shrimp is quite amazing and gives Panda Express's honey walnut shrimp a run for its money. I would definitely order from here again! Nice, big menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Yay!

First time here. Had the crispy orange beef and it was AWESOME!!!! My wife had the roasted pork lo mein and she thought it a bit salty, though that is a common complaint for her. We will definitely be back!

I have to admit that, every now and again, I crave greasy, Americanized Chinese food. I went to Chi's initially to satisfy this craving. Lucky for me, Chi's does not encourage my bad habit. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Chi's serves up high-quality Chinese and Thai dishes at the same low price of bad take-out. My favorite dish is probably the Orange Crispy Beef which is thin, sliced beef crispy-fried in a tangy orange sauce. The pad thai is good--not the most authentic of pad thai but more flavorful than some of the pad thai served up around town. The Chi's Family Special is a great tofu-vegetarian dish with a nice spice. The Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Beef are also nice dishes--slices of beef as opposed to balls of deep-fried meat. The restaurant doesn't have the best ambiance, but a great hole-in-the-wall feel. Service is quick, dine-in or take-out.

What a nice surprise this restaurant was! I had heard some good reviews, and finally got around to trying it. The food was fresh and tasty, the portions generous, and the rice was nice and sticky. The Orange Crispy Beef lived up to its name - not large chunks, but nice thin bite size pieces of crispy beef. Gen. Tso's Chicken could have been a little more tender, but still was flavorful, and had broccoli that was cooked perfectly. The servers (owners?) were attentive but not obtrusive. We will definitely go back!

War wonton soup consisted of beef bullion with hard chicken and 1wonton. The worst soup I've ever had. The staff didn't speak English. When I picked up the soup I questioned the server who helped me about the color of the soup, I couldn't understand her. She looked at the soup, looked at me, then put a knot in the bag and gave it to me. The War wonton was the same color as the Hot n sour....... The War wonton had no flavor or taste and the hot and sour had hard strips of pork ( I thought it was pork.?.) and half of a half of a shrimp. We ordered large soups. Go figure? I've tried this place before and I'm sad to say it will be the last time. Disappointed again.

We tried this after the July 4th parade. We got the lunch combo it was awful we left it all. The waiter asked if we wanted boxes we said no. I would say if you want Chinese go someplace else.

Apparently no one there speaks English, so they just pass the phone around and then the last person that got handed the phone was some snippy little bitch and she spouted off "we can't hep u, buh-bye" and hung up on us. Real good way to run a BUSINESS in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - Don't have ONE employee that can speak ENGLISH. WTH?? Anyway, they don't deliver, I assume, so they need to change the listing to reflect that.

I come here every time I visit Prescott for work! I go for the lunch special and get the honey walnut shrimp. SOOOO good!! Their fried rice is really good as well! I seriously can't go through Prescott without eating here!

No delivery "anymore". Person who answered phone only said, "Can I help you?" I had to ask if the number I called was Chi's Cuisine to which I was given a 'yes' followed by a broken record repeat of the unhelpful greeting. I asked to place an order for delivery and I was told that they do not deliver anymore. It is my fault that I got my hopes up looking up reviews, food pictures, planning my order, before getting abruptly shot down by this business. I can imagine their food is probably decent or even good. I won't find out today and since I'm stuck at home for the rest of the near future who knows if I will actually have a good experience at Chi's Cuisine... the biggest disappointment of my day.

The place hasn't changed. From my last review 2 years ago, their lunches are still reasonably priced. I think there's new ownership, I'm not sure. This time, the lady serving behind the counter gave me huge portions and took the time to heat up my to go order before carefully packing it in the plastic bag. It was really nice to see her take such care. I don't know if she would do it every time since when I was there, the place was not busy as it was around 1:30pm, post lunch rush. So don't get grumpy if you don't get the same treatment! Same basic food, not high quality but great for a quick, satisfying meal. This place must be doing okay as many other places has closed even right on the square and this place is still here!

1, 2, 3, Chi's! ...at least that's what I was saying when trying to take a picture to send to the CDC of the damage that occurred after eating at this "butthole in the wall" restaurant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You will do you and your body a HUGE favor... TRUST ME

Plenty of food in the lunch special, but the taste was very mediocre. Almost bland, especially the tough orange chicken. I would recommend going somewhere else for Chinese.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
