Amazing little place. This was our first time going there and we are glad we did. Donuts were brought out fresh and even after the few stops we made on the way home they still tasted amazing. The lady working the counter was so helpful and made us want to come back even sooner! Thanks for starting our Sunday off right!

The small apple fritter and a cup of coffee is the perfect balance of the fruit, carbohydrate fat and caffeine food groups. Best quartered and appreciated at four different times, I never do and relish the whole item. Any unglazed item is very good in my book. The chocolate-filled and jelly-filled donuts are 1,200 horsepower pancreas-smoking pastries, loaded with way too much sugary rocket fuel for my tastes.

One word: sugar-coma (ok two words technically.) I got a dozen donuts for work, well a few for me too ;) the donuts were fresh and delicious. I also got my favorite Thai tea with boba and unfortunately it was disgustingly sweet. It tasted like sweetened condensed milk was added. I like it a little sweet, but it was overload. Next time I want to try their more savory items. I'll be back!

Love these donuts! My all time favorite, the Bavarian Cream, never lets me down. They definitely aren't shy with the filling. Tried the donut ice cream sandwich for the first time and it was so good! They serve a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream in between a split glazed donut with chocolate syrup drizzled on top. My go to spot to fulfill my donut cravings.

Small place, tried different doughnuts very good early in the morning fresh ready to eat. I love the breakfast croissants with a cup of coffee. No bad comments from me, simple place but good . Try it go for quick stop.

Always been the place for the best, freshest donuts. Get the glazed for the lightest and tastiest treat.

I love the TARO and HONEYDEW BOBA HERE! THE DONUT IS GOOD TOO! I mainly come here for the TARO and HONEYDEW BOBA SLUSH, I've tried other flavors such as mango but the flavor for it was more just scented than actual flavor. This spot is family owned and for the most part they are nice and good people, i'd stop by for more donuts and boba if it was closer to me - also the ham and cheese w/ jalapeno croissant thing is bomb!

Stopped here today for a quick bite. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich combo. It cost $6 and came with chips and a drink. The sandwich itself tasted ok, but they were very skimpy on the meat. I was unsatisfied. There was not enough meat to cover the round croissant acting as the bun. The sandwich was cut into two halves and as I was about 2/3 done eating each piece, I was left with a large shell of meatless bread. The way it's wrapped in wax paper, makes you think the sandwich has more meat than it does, but it's all in the center. The outer 1/3 of the sandwich is just bread and mayo. The chips were unremarkable. The soft drink (coca cola) was terrible and that's the reason for a 1 star vs 2 star review. It was hot outside today. They had no AC running. It was uncomfortably warm inside their dining area. They have a fountain behind the counter and they filled the cup with ice. I finished the soda within a minute. It was probably an actual 8-9 ounces of liquid. Less than a can's worth, for sure. I was still thirsty. Before I left, I asked if I could have a refill. She said it costs 50 cents. They filled my cup with ice, and it was a fountain dispenser. So we're talking a few pennies in syrup for the coke. And there was almost zero carbonation. I think they were actually pushing you to need a refill by using so much ice. I told her I didn't appreciate the gouging and I was never coming back. I don't understand restaurants that nickel and dime you instead of trying for repeat business.

AAAAAH!!! You would think dunkin donuts would have it, huh.....well guess what? WRONGO... This rainbow donut shop has the freshest, best donuts and alot of many goodies as well thank god i live a few minutes away...so when I'm having a sweet tooth attack lol..... They use better quality products not cheaper products like the others....I know this because i spoke personally w/ owner...... Stop by and get a dozen donuts and you won't be disappointed....

This is the number 1 Dount shop in the world the people there are friendly and will treat you with care and the old fashion donuts are the bomb and the Carmel latte and mango with boba is good to. Try all of their sandwiches and their ham and cheese or the ham and cheese and jalapeño croissants.

I go out of my way to stop by Rainbow Donuts every time I'm on the west side of town. The doughnuts are excellent and the owners are very, very nice people. Highly recommended!

STK... Rainbow Donuts has saved the day. Again. Cinnamon anything here is great for pre-diabetic ninja like myself . Haute coffee made with love, I buddy up with the owners when in Phoenix. Personal favorite is the chocolate filled. I highly recommend boba in the afternoons. :)

I live in Scottsdale and do not make my way to this side of town often. But when I do, Rainbow Donuts is a place I must stop at. There is something about the way in which these donuts are fried, maybe it is the oil it is fried in? These donuts are not only dense, but they are fluffy...I know it sounds impossible but Rainbow Donuts makes it happen. The owners are always pleasant and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. My all-time favorite donut: the Old Fashioned.

5 stars, this place is as good as it gets! I drive 30 minutes to come here! Best donuts I've had in my life!

My family and I have been coming here for years! They have the best donuts and coffee around! Their iced coffee beats Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, or anyone's! I'd definitely recommend getting a Ham and Cheese Croissant and a large iced coffee. The owners are very friendly and the environment inside is very homely.

Last June, I was looking to purchase several dozen donuts for my students on the last day of school. However, I was stuck! I could not think of a single donut shop between my home in central Phoenix and my school on 91st Avenue. Then I remembered driving by a Rainbow Donuts before on McDowell, closer to central Phoenix. After doing some research online, I discovered this location in the heart of Maryvale. Before arriving at the donut shop, I called to place an order. I arrived and the order was not ready, but I was not upset because I had gotten there well before my stated pick-up time. Nevertheless, everyone at the shop apologized and got my large (something like four or five dozen) order ready in no time! The shop, while located in a strip mall that has clearly seen better days, was bright and clean inside. I was impressed that a number of locals were "dining in" and enjoying donuts and good conversation in the small shop. It bothered me somewhat that there is a fee for using a credit card, but then again I can understand that for smaller businesses, transaction fees can really eat into the profit margin if you have people buying a single donut on their Visa. The donuts were excellent! They tasted "homemade" and are much better than the donuts available at the Valley's two mega chains (Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts). In particular, I enjoyed the bear claws included in my mixed dozens. If I ever want to treat my students (or myself) again, I will be sure to do so at Rainbow Donuts.

I heard alot about this place through Yelp so when I came across it I decided to give it a try. I didnt know that they were more of a luncheonette type place. I ordered a medium hot coffee and try a glaxed donut. The coffee tasted like it was burnt and the donut wassoft but just didnt taste right. It almost seemed like the glaze was bad or something. Either way I was not impressed with Rainbow Donuts and will continue to go to Dunkin Donuts since no one can seem to match their amazing coffee! (and donuts too!)

My second favorite donuts in the world. I'm all about the chocolate longjohns.
