Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Tasty food, fast service, good prices. There's not a lot to say, this is like many other small Mexican joints that have basic eat-in/take-out service. Good food quality and tasty. I would recommend it.

I did not eat here, so I cannot comment on the food. As my wife and I arrived for lunch, we overheard a customer tell an employee that they were out of jalapeños at the salsa bar. The employee replied without looking up: "if they're not there, we're out." End of story. This lazy slug of a girl couldn't be bothered to go restock the salsa bar during lunch. That's not the kind of place we want to eat at; what other unseen aspects does this pervasive laziness manifest itself? I don't want these people preparing my food. We left immediately.

Legit Mexican food, don't be scared off by the name! Had a beef taco and cheese enchilada, both were spot on! Will be back for sure.

I like that the food is cooked in a open kitchen where you can see it because the place lacks on cleanness. The food is fresh and portions are vet large sized but it needs more flavor.

I had a great chile verde burrito here. Free self-serve chips come with a meal, and there is a salsa bar with several very tasty salsas. The menu is extensive.

We stumbled upon this place in payson and to tell you the truth I love this place. The guy at the cash register was so friendly. Its a hole in the wall so set you expectations low when it comes to decor. The carna asada burro is amazing! Just add some cheese to it and its amazing! The beans are on the bland side. But they are decently priced and friendly!!

What a disappointment this Mexican restaurant was. Average food would be too kind. Taco Bell has this place beat on all aspects...food, ambience and quality. I recommend skipping this gut bomb greasy spoon with styrofoam plates and cups.

As someone who grew up in san diego, and then moved to Seattle, my quest for "southern california taco shop food" has been rarely filled outside of san diego. I mean, there are a few great Mexican food places in seattle, but they're not the same. I've searched high and low for a "California burrito" which, is a burrito made with carne asada, french fries, cheese, and occasionally some extras. they're amazing. Well, amazingly enough, while in payson visiting family, I found Aliberto's version they call the Arizona Burrito. exact same thing, and it was awesome. We also got some rolled taco's which fit the bill as intended, hot sauce was exactly as it should be. I will be eating there as much as i can while i'm in town.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant place to eat. Will always gets the #7 burritos but I like to try new things and have never been disappointed (though the chicken fajitas are my favorite). Exceptional food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend

Best authentic Mexican cuisine in Payson bar none! Atmosphere is set for students, but the food is five stars! Personally glad at least ONE venue in Payson is set for school kids!

This is not a full service sit down restaurant, but don't let that fool you, it has the best Mexican food in town . There are comfortable tables and chairs , and you help yourself to the sauces and chips . If you like Mexican food this is the place to go. The carnitas are as good as I've ever had.

Hands down the BEST Mexican food in Payson! Love everything! Coming from San Diego, I appreciate a good taco shop. This is pretty close to home for me.

Clean, fresh, so tasty, great value. So glad Wendy's was out of food. When in Payson it'll be or regular stop.
