I had breakfast here yesterday, and while the food was okay, it wasn't anything special. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs. It came with hash browns, which were pretty bland, and toast, that was kind of on the dry side. I had good service, and the waitress was friendly. It kind of seemed like there weren't a whole lot of choices for breakfast in this town (although I could very well be wrong), so while I won't tell anyone to stay away, I can't really wholeheartedly tell you not to leave town without trying this place.

First off the staff is not overly friendly and you seat yourself which isn't a bad thing. The food is traditional American with big portion and way over priced and I'd say really expensive around $10-$12 per person not including drink. Food was just so so and very bland. Condiment bottles were digustingly dirty and have been sitting on the table way longer then they should have been. I'd recommend choosing another restaurant in town that is much better in food quality and less expensive. Be forwarned if you do go they make waiting for your food a non issue, so it could take significant amount of time to get your food and they "make no excuses for being really busy". This is the ideas of servce they have at the restaurant so be forewarned.

Very good food in a comfortable setting with friendly service. My chef salad was tasty, reasonably priced, and fresh. Recommended.

Put simply, I'm a fan of Ranch House Grille. It's exactly what you expect from a small town breakfast place. The outside has that rustic feel. The inside is nothing to write home about, though the photography on the walls did catch my eye. I found it interesting that the menus look like a local paper and are filled with ads. I guess that's a good way to drum up some extra revenue. Anyway, I wanted a quick breakfast before I headed over to my slot canyon tour. The Huevos Rancheros sounded good - 3 eggs over corn tortillas, pork chili verde, green chiles, bell peppers, onions, and cheddar cheese, served with hash browns, rice and beans ($8.50). The food came out incredibly quick, which was much appreciated. And it was surprisingly delicious, though very light on the actual pork. I also appreciated that the waitress brought out my check along with my food. You pay at the front, so I was able to finish my meal, pay the bill, and continue with my day. I think I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. Impressive.

Very busy. Food was hot and fresh with ample portions. Service was quick and friendly. CFS was the right size for breakfast. Beverages are served in GIANT glasses. Excellent experience!

We recently stopped due to the great reviews, but we were turned away by a waiter due to our party of 10. One waiter declined to serve our party due to unknown reasons. That clearly shows their lack of professionalism and customer service skills. I would clearly define as a redneck restaurant and definitely not coming back.

Big, American breakfast in all the best ways. Three of us all got the chicken fried steak under chile verde, and the add-on biscuits and gravy. I don't drink coffee, but those I was with said it was good. The whole experience was outstanding. Tasted way better than I dared expect. Big portions. Waitress was on top of everything and nice, even though the place was hopping. All of us said it was the best breakfast we'd had in many years. I will absolutely go again.

Decent food. Good portions. Seat yourself. Quick, friendly service. Breakfast like mom would make

One of the four local faves... Good food, service is a bit lax, but a wonderful place to hang n eat with family friends, or colleagues. A place to go to satisfy the hunger
(5)Derrick Z.
to be honest i only come here for breakfast but it's above an average experience. i have tried all sorts of breakfast items. the only time i get a below average meal is when i order steak and eggs. i love steak and eggs. i feel like they under cook their steaks. but that is just me. service is good but when the restaurant is busy service tends to be slow. oh and this place is awesome for little kids! why? it's so damn loud and spacious that the kids are not really making a scene. lol.
(4)Stephen Y.
This is a great breakfast and lunch restaurant that really caters to the locals! Food here was outstanding.
(4)Larry B.
Food is always good, service okay, a favorite with locals and visitors like me. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Lunch platters delish roast beef or turkey. They have daily specials posted outside.
(5)Robin B.
Do not order fried chicken. I repeat do not order the fried chicken, frist plate was raw waitress took it back it get redone next try was very well done inedible. If u head over stick to breakfast always a winner
(2)Brent S.
Good breakfast - always a good sign when the place is full of locals. Great hash browns come with most orders.
(4)Harriett R.
My husband, grandson and myself stopped off here for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent . My husband had a pork chop and eggs. The chop was enormous , cut that morning and juicy. My grandson had the corned beef hash which he said was very good. I had a large piece of ham and very well made eggs. I would recommend this restaurant very highly
(4)Seth A.
Eh, everything about this place was mediocre honestly. Food wasnt bad, service wasnt bad, it just wasnt great. The ambiance felt like I was eating in a old rec room. Old paint, slap dash decorating. Overall I felt like I had missed an opportunity for a better meal.

This place is a hidden gem, tooked in the corner off the main road through Page but the food is awesome. Some home style cooking with huge portions and has all day breakfast but has a lunch and dinner menu too. Its a seat yourself dinner and doesn't look like much but the food is amazing. I had the huevos rancheros and my brother had the country fried steaK, Both came with their award winning chili verde, which is delicious! i don't like hash browns but i finished these, they were crispy and really good with the chili. Would definitely recommend this place if you happen to pass through Page
(4)Genevieve R.
A fabulous place to sit down and have a great meal. This place was a real hit! They had every kind of fries you can think of, curly, spicy, etc. I highly recommend this to any family that's looking for a great place to send down and have a burger. The serve was also super fast. An the photography on the walls were amazing!
(5)Vivian L.
Come here for the CFS (chicken fried steak)! We had lunch here one day and split an a la carte CFS, a salad, chile verde soup, and a peach cobbler. The CFS was yummy, it was hot, crispy on the outside, and very good. The salad was fresh, large, and full of green veggies (no iceberg here). The chile verde was ok. It was very thick like a clam chowder and that flavor of goopiness was strong, too. We didn't finish that. But we ended on a high note of the peach cobbler made with fresh peaches and was very yummy. We wished we had more room to order another one.
(4)Thuy H.
My friend and I shared one of their CPS's and it wasn't bad. The eggs that came along with the meal was well cooked and their salsa was pretty tasty. The portions here are hefty enough to share. What I wasn't too crazy about was the $1 charge for an extra plate. They didn't disclose the charge and it wasn't like they split the food for us or anything. I could have gotten a few gum balls or a temporary tattoo with that money!
(3)Justin A.
Food was okay at best. Service was pretty bad. I hoped it would be a good place to eat, but it was a disappointment.
(1)Liang Z.
Get ready for a hearty one. Big portion. Eat the chicken steak while it's hot. Bad coffee but add some milk then you won't notice ;) out front has a parking spot for "biker trash" lol
(4)Andy O.
Very standard diner. Friendly workers (note: our server looked like she was probably smoking hot twenty years ago), broad selection of menu items, good portions, utterly average taste. Nothing really stands out as great, but nothing was inedible either. Sort of the typical the-food-will-probably-be-boring-but-let's-stop-here-before-continuing-on-our-long-journey stop, which is exactly what it was for us.
(3)Gueu S.
Nice place...ordered low carb chicken wrap..was delicious. Would love to come back..service is also good
(5)Scott J.
I suppose compared to most places in the lackluster town of Page, this does things well enough. The atmosphere was kind of worn and sparse, but the service was friendly enough and the food was good...not outstanding, but good enough to get us back on the road satisfied. I'm a stickler for huevos rancheros, which is what I ordered. The portion was generous enough, and with the addition of the spicy condiments on the table, it was certainly passable, I've eaten worse.
(3)Zachary J.
Fast and friendly service, with an awesome menu. There are gluten-free options without an extra charge which is always nice to see. They make simple comfort food, and I recommend anything with their chili-Verde. Their proportions are large, and price is more than fair.
(4)Rich S.
Huevos Rancheros - to much chile verde sauce made the dish sloppy and wet. Otherwise the eggs were good and the hash browns were nice. Coffee was very weak.
(3)Travis B.
i think it's the same place as the one in Phoenix...the logo looks exactly the same. diner style food and heavy on the breakfast meat. however, they were able to easily accommodate us non-meat eaters. very friendly service for a super reasonable price. my avocado omelette was enormous....it came with a heaping pile of hashbrowns that i couldn't possibly eat. it was all so delicious and left us feeling warm and fulfilled for our day.
(4)Payel K.
It's likeable....loved the quick service and prompt correction of errors in order. Its the most decent place to grab a bite in Page.
(4)Slayde S.
Impressed! Open early and we had a great breakfast! From a Pancake Lover: 2nd best Pancake Ever (Fluffy & Slightly crispy on the outside)... From a Huevos Rancheros Connoisseur: Top 3
(5)April H.
Stopped by for breakfast during a September road trip. There were a lot of locals inside, and the staff was friendly. I had the French toast, some patty sausage and eggs over medium. Good coffee. Everything was delicious; prices were great.
(4)Eric S.
I didn't really care for this place. The food seems like it is of very good quality but I feel it's missing flavor.. lots of flavor. The waitress seemed very unfriendly but the service was quick yet rushed. I wouldn't come back.
(2)Byron L.
Well, this place opens early. So if you are in town in wee hours of morning then come on over. Coffee taste like water. Scramble egg looks a bit weird. But everything is edible for sure.
(2)Jessie M.
Pretty good grub. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was dangerously delicious. I would have said 5 stars, but no one there knew what was in chicken fried steak! Some thought chicken and others thought steak... The only known ingredients involved the gravy so if you like playing delicious redneck roulette with your mouth, this place is for you!
(4)Sophia D.
Horrible service attitude, I walked in with half a wrap because I just want to finish it and order some omelette with my friends, but just when we sat down, a service lady came directly to me: "You can't eat it in this restaurant!" Then I asked may I put it back to the box I brought? She said " No, you can't bring any food in this restaurant even you are not eating it" I was just concerned the heat outside so I brought my food with me, she was so rude and impolite, My friend and I would never be here again, so rude. I think customers deserves better attitude

Ranch house is the quintessential Page breakfast. The food is good. The service is good. I feel like it is a bit dingy, but overall doesn't hurt the experience. Check it out!

We decided to skip out on our breakfast offerings at nearby Amangiri to visit the Ranch House Grille for breakfast since we read so many glowing reviews on yelp about this place. I'm from Pennsylvania so diners and home cookin is a big plus for me... It was about 8:30am when we arrived. We walked in and saw the SEAT YOURSELF sign so we found a table and sat down. As we walked to our table a woman stood up, waved her arms in the air and yelled "Can we order?!". At first I thought it seemed rude but 35 minutes later I understood why. Just FYI, the table next to us was covered in dirty dishes and no one cleared it the entire time we were there. A waitress came over for drinks and we ordered coffee and water. Should've just ordered water because the coffee was so weak it was barely more than water... 4 different parties seated themselves after we sat down. There were 4 waitresses working the shift. All 4 tables placed their orders and 2 tables received their food BEFORE WE EVEN ORDERED! Our waitress never came back and after 30minutes I stopped a different waitresses as she was walking by and said, "hi, we're ready to order". She seemed like she was in a really foul mood and just said, "ok" and very quickly took our order. We asked if they did egg white omelets, she said "I guess". Then we asked if the omelets came with anything (since no sides are listed in the menu) and she said "toast". So we ordered an egg white omelet with spinach and cheddar, subbed the toast for an English muffin, and added an order of hashed browns (since she told us it only came with toast). I ordered the country fried steak breakfast (comes with eggs and hashed browns) When our food came, we got the egg white omelet with spinach and SWISS (not cheddar), white toast (NOT AN ENGLISH MUFFIN)... The hashed browns CAME WITH IT, so now we had an EXTRA order of hashed browns, and I ended up receiving the country fried steak LUNCH (with buttered veggies and mashed potatoes... No eggs and hashed browns). We didn't have time to send it back and wait for new food... WTF. This girl was completely incompetent, not friendly, didn't even come back once after we got our food... At least the country fried steak was good but I was really disappointed I didn't get the breakfast plate... overall really disappointing experience.

This place may be amazing, but they will never have a dime from me. I can't wait for them to get used and go out of business for ADA violations. I was with a person who has an emotional support animal. They have a letter from a doctor that allows them in an airplane cabin with their dog. They go into restaurants everywhere with their dog. But when I, as a courtesy, called this little redneck restaurant to advise about the dog so no one would be embarrassed, the person who answered the phone said "I don't have time for this shit." She handed me off to a person who was in her employee, then the employee told me, "my boss said the dog cannot come in." So when you give this place an inch by calling them to advise of your intent to exercise a right, they take a mile and tell you you can't. The owner is Phillip Klein apparently and I am so hoping he conducts an inquiry into who said they don't recognize FEDERAL LAW. Run like hell from any place that doesn't have time for this shit when it comes to observing laws, because a place like that won't recognize food codes either.

This is the best place to eat breakfast in Page hands down....next
(5)Ruben G.
Great Place, went for breakfast and was absolutely overloaded with delicious food that came out quite quickly. Everyone was quite pleasant and again no issues. Definitly stop in if you get the chance.
(5)Andrew F.
Recommended by a local at the nearby airport. Lived up to my expectations of a blue plate special hangout. Even though we arrived off hours, the local scene was in full force eating big plates of steak and mashed potatoes with gravy.
(4)Erin G.
My husband and I stopped in here for an early breakfast before an Antelope Canyon tour and I'm so glad we did. We were there around 6:45 and the place is clearly familiar to locals. Several men were lounging over their newspapers, coffee, and gossip. Very authentic, welcoming environment. I had the country fried steak because that's what I do; I quietly point at the oatmeal and fruit but then somehow "COUNTRY FRIED STEAK!" flies out of my mouth every single time. I'm so happy I did, though, because it was absolutely delicious. Super tender, I could cut it with a fork. Wonderful sausage gravy, eggs over medium, and hash browns. All of it piping hot. I basically licked the plate. My husband ordered two sausage patties and a plate of southwestern hash browns (peppers, cheese, onions, etc.) and he was very happy, too. Quick polite service, lots of drink refills, I can't think of how it could've been better.
(5)Tammy S.
the food was really good, the service was prompt. This is definitely a local hangout. Being that we were just passing through, you almost felt like you were intruding not being from there. I really enjoyed my breakfast and would definitely go back!
(4)David D.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Without exaggeration, I had the best breakfast of my life here. I got the Huevos Rancheros (w/ scrambled eggs) and it was to die for. The ranchera sauce has just enough shredded pork to be tasty w/o being overpowering. Perfectly done eggs (not too dry, not too moist) and delicious beans and rice. Ample selection of table-side hot sauces/salsas for kicking it up a notch if you want. My wife had the biscuits and gravy. If you have an average appetite, 1 biscuit is all you need. Luckily for my wife, I can be counted on to Hoover up anything she can't finish and I happily cleaned her plate after finishing mine. Nice quiet atmosphere, even on a Sunday morning and even though most of the tables were full. This is where the locals come and for good reason. Friendly, attentive service and top-notch food. Also, we couldn't believe how fast our food came out. It may have been 10 min after placing our order. Try to get that at am IHOP! As I mentioned, we were not the only family in there that day so clearly they're running the kitchen with a high level of efficiency. We will be back!
(5)Kathrin K.
Great breakfast spot with the usual breakfast items. Everyone at the table liked the food. We had two people eating scrambled eggs with beacon, hash browns and rye bread, one mushroom swiss omelet and one country fried chicken. We also had a very attentive waitress.
(5)Kirsten D.
Traveling again for business and hadn't yet eaten here, so decided to give lunch a shot. I asked my waitress for a recommendation, but it was her first week and she'd only tried 2 things. So I went with a bowl of the chili verde and the half chef salad. When a place gives you a choice of red chili with beans or chili verde, it usually means they know what they're doing. It was very tasty, full of flavorful shredded pork with a very slight spice. It was thick and gooey and probably horrible for my arteries, but isn't that what makes good chili good?? The chef salad was great as well. It had mixed greens, cucumber's, tomato's, zucchini, broccoli, egg, roast beef, ham, and turkey. So, basically everything in the kitchen! It was all very fresh and the wait staff actually make them to order. The waitress was friendly, and the service was good. I'm going back to try breakfast later this week!
(4)David S.
Ridiculously fast service, standard diner food.
(3)Deborah J.
Perfect breakfast in Page, Arizona. After a disappointing couple of meals during a recent stay, we deferred to Yelp for suggestions and this place did not disappoint. Best breakfast we have had in some time. We were a four top with a young toddler and had the breakfast burritos smothered. Our server, Brenda, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional. She kept the napkins handy and our coffee was never empty. With a little tag teaming effort, our food was served fresh and piping hot and the table cleared as soon as our forks were down. The food was great and the service will bring us back for more. An extra star for the lollipop on the way out the door that kept the baby smiling long after breakfast was over! Great way to start the day!
(5)J M.
Good and fast food. Very comfortable setting. Good and friendly service. A must go around here.
(4)Laura R.
If zero was a rating option, that might be fair. Surly service, worse than mediocre food, and above average prices. The sad thing is that it was once not too bad. Unfortunately, RHG has deteriorated from "hit or miss" to total miss over the past five years. Now you get crappy food, and get to listen to the staff yelling at one another and cursing. Ridiculous. Once voted best chicken fried steak, this was easily the WORST breakfast I've ever had at a restaurant. The entree was COLD, the hash browns, which were requested "well done" were pasty white, lukewarm, and tasteless. Toasted English muffin was cold and barely toasted. Gravy was thick, pasty, and also cold. Yuk, yuk and yuk. The waitress commented that it would take an hour to do well-done hash browns. Right. Despite a limited number of breakfast choices in Page, we will truly NEVER come back. Bleeeeeeeeech!
(1)Mrs. V.
The people were super friendly and very helpful to us. Service was excellent! And you HAVE TO have the chili. Get the biggest bowl ever. Because now that I'm at home 12 hours away, I'm still craving their chili. It had such a unique smoky meaty goodness to it. Lots of cool souvenirs inside, that I should have bought. Cause I miss this place, it was definitely one of the best places we ate at on our trip to Lake Powell.
(5)Andri P.
For a small town, this breakfast place is really good. I got myself chicken fried steak. It was good. The portion is huge and it comes with two pancakes. My friend got huevos rancheros. It was also good. Overall the food is good. Of course it may not the best breakfast in the world, but for a small town. The food is really good.
