I ordered the pork baby back ribs and what I got was more like beef jerky.. I had to shave small pieces off the bone with a steak knife because the meat would not fall off the bone.. Also, I couldn't cut the ribs into hand-held pieces since the layer of fat was so thick in the back of the ribs. It was disgusting and yet cost close to $20! The salad bar was just as disgusting..most of the lettuce was wilting and turning a reddish color. I should've listened to the reviews on yelp and stayed away. I will never go back!!

Would barely give a 2. The entire place was not clean poor lighting was to hide the dirt. Food was fair hoping to not be ill then to to out off they added 20% gratuity to the check for not great service.when we asked we were told, oh we thought you were european and they want the tip added. Well this American won't be back!!!!!

Shocked. With a $174 bill, the lady added a $30.01 tip without our concent. We payed $204 and she asked for the 1 cent!!!!! Crazy! Food is correct but nothing special at all. Don't go there. The manager is very tight-fisted.

Based on the condition of the Glen Canyon Steakhouse there is obviously not a health department in Page AZ. The Restrooms and kitchen prep area of this restaurant are the worst I've seen in years. The food was slightly lower than average, the service was average, the level of cleanliness was horrid.

Not as bad as the reviews say, but it is dark, the booth seats are not comfortable, and windows were dirty. Ribeye pretty fatty, and not sure it was a ribeye. Seasoned okay. Salad bar was pathetic. Old black mushrooms a definate turnoff. Bread rolls dry ant tasteless. Friendly servers. Better than the other popular place, no drunks harassing the ladies.

Just a scosh over three. This was where we had lunch on our way from Zion to Sedona. Alan's iPhone had no connectivity so we were on our own. We pulled in and saw a Park Service employee walk in and took that as a recommendation. Neither of us wanted anything heavy because it was on the late side, 1:30 Utah time, although it was 12:30 AZ time. They don't do Daylight Savings Time. Alan opted for the soup and salad bar. Today's soup was corn chowder and it was good. He was pleased w/ the salad bar offerings. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich on wheat. I had a choice of fries, potato salad or mashed potatoes and opted for the potato salad. It was excellent: unpeeled chunks of red potatoes, diced red onion and just enough mayonnaise and maybe mustard to bind it together. My sandwich was exactly what I wanted. I had iced tea and Alan had water. Service was warmly casual, as was the decor. Walls were paneled in warn looking boards w/ worm holes. Rusty farm implements, a horsecollar, a cowbell, that sort of thing, hung on the walls. It was an unpretentious place that served us well.

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life, and that was without trying the food, as we walked out before we got it. Restaurant is tired and needs a face lift. When we arrived we were seated quickly by a kind hostess. When our waiter came to the table he had incredibly broken English (European) and had trouble taking a drink order of a 7&7, 2 Jack and Cokes, a beer and apple juice. We were notified after a few mins that the restaurant (with a connecting bar) was out of Jack Daniels. Yup! A steak house, out of JD. They were also out of 7up! When they made our drinks, they did not put a single ice cube in it, until requested. Our waters that were brought to the table, also, had no ice. When we placed our food orders, we were never asked about how we wanted the burgers or steaks cooked, or asked about what our choice of sides would be. We had to repeat everything twice. After 15 mins, they came back to notify us that they were out of scallops as well! In his broken English he asks, "what else you want?" It was the final straw, and we decided to leave. We asked for the tab to pay for our drinks, to which our waiter retrieved a fellow associate (better speaking, but still limited) to understand exactly what we were saying. This gentlemen says, "OK, we can give you food to go". WHAT?!? We paid for our drinks, still tipped, and left. If "0 stars" was an option, I would have given this place "0". Strongly encourage you to avoid this place.

Dingy, dark, run-down, stuck in the 70s (or possibly the 60s) decor. When you are charging between $25 and $35 a plate, you would expect that you'd have at least table linens and cloth napkins. Not so at the Glen Canyon Steakhouse! Plain cheap paper placemats and paper napkins are what you'll be served with. They are maximizing every dollar they nab from your wallet. The soup of the day was chicken noodle. It was in a crock pot with a giant ladle that was far too big for the teensy bowls set out to serve it in. I burnt the crap out of my hand trying to get the soup into the bowl, and it tasted like chicken-water with mushy veggies and bland noodles. The shrimp scampi was $22.95. When my plate came it had exactly SIX overcooked shrimp (about an inch in diameter, so not even BIG shrimp), a SINGLE two-inch stalk of broccoli (cooked to death) and a small pile of Rice-A-Roni. For $22.95. We looked at the menu for dessert and saw to our delight that they were serving three kinds of pie AT $5.95 PER SLICE (ice cream $2 extra for a single scoop I'm sure) so we went down the street to Safeway and had a great dessert for $3. There were a ton of servers in this place considering how small it is, but for some reason ours never came back to refill our water glasses, and left us sitting waiting for our bill when it was clear we had no more stoneware in front of us. Thankfully we paid with a gift card so it wasn't our money we were out, but this place is a total waste, and I would highly recommend that you skip it and go to McDonald's by the WalMart, or even the Pizza Place that's in an old paddle boat. These people do not deserve any more cash flow.

One of the most dreadful places I have eaten in my life! It was 11 of us and to make things easier on the waiters we split in two tables. The only good thing we had in this place was the beer. When we went it was on Labor Weekend, the place was busy. After hiking in the wilderness for 2 days we were looking forward to some "real food". The place was packed but we did not complain about waiting for almost one hour for our meals. Problem was that when the many ribs, chicken nuggets and burgers arrived, two orders were missing. By the time the two missing orders arrived everybody finished eating and we've been waiting for one house and half....but this is not all, one of the burger buns had MOLD on the bottom! I told the waitress and she apologized and offered a free dessert, which we did not accept because at that point we were so disgusted we just wanted to get out of there. I wish I would have taken a picture...the salad bar was very limited on options and the soup tasted odd. They did not take out the moldy burger from our bill. The restrooms were right next to the kitchen entrance and the sinks full of hair. I believe this place needs an inspection of some sort. I felt disgust for the whole night, if I would have not checked the burger at the bottom I would have eaten an overpriced moldy burger.

I really have nothing good to say about this restaurant. The waiter was ok. The food was awful. They even had the audacity to add a 20% tip to the bill.

New owner, food same low quality, same old decor, HUGE jump in prices. Steaks now $23-$30 for average slab of meat and few frozen french fries. Want salad or soup, that's additional $3 for low quality salad bar. Fish & chips small 3-pc. Cod with frozen crinkke cut fries - holey lettuce leaf garnish - about $6 value. Burger $13. This local will not be going back. There are way better places in Page AZ to eat.

The soup was nothing but salt water with mushy vegetables. The salad bar was very disappointing. I had fish and chips which was an oily mess on my plate. The fish was almost as tough as jerky. My friend had a steak that was supposed to be cooked medium but was cooked all the way through. And it wasn't really brown but more of a gray color. A very fatty piece of meat too. And the benches are very uncomfortable!!! I'll never go back. Other than that, the service was slow and unfriendly.

Run, run away fast. Ok, its a small town rundown steakhouse --- my standards were not that high, but I was hoping for an ok meal. I ordered a ribeye and received something thin, dry, and more or less a horrible piece of meat --- not a ribeye. The soup was not very good, it looked liked they picked items from the salad bar from the previous day so they wouldn't go to waste. The bread was horrible, it was a chewy nasty roll with too much flour and fake butter. Avoid this place like the plague, there is a reason its looks like it does, they try to pass off complete garbage --- maybe they save the real food for the locals.

After ordering steak and shrimp, I went to the restroom only to find the one nearest us was closed. Why would a restroom be closed! I had noticed a restroom near the salad bar, so I went there. While in there, I noticed the only toilet was bubbling. Not a good sign! When I flushed, it almost ran over. As I left, the only urinal was running over making a mess of the floor. Isn't there a business code that states you have to have so many working toilet facilities for a certain amount of people? Back at the table, my wife's scallops were not cooked properly and were soggy. She said they were not real scallops either. My steak was overdone and I don't think was steak but some kind of compressed meat. The shrimp were tasteless breaded blobs. The general appearance of the place was dark and dirty with seldom seen waitresses. When we got our tab from the waitress, I noticed there was a $9 tip added to the bill. Upon asking the cashier about it, she said they normally add the tip for "European" customers because "that is how they do it over there". As the food bill was $47, a $9 tip is a 20% tip. Neither the food nor the service was worth a 10% tip let alone a 15 or 20% tip. Besides I am an American, born and raised... I'll determine the tip! Needless to say, when we return to Page, AZ, we will not frequent this dirty, unkempt, expensive dinner!

worst experience ever. Food was awful and they automatically add 20% tip on top of your bill.
