Scoops is a place to have a great time at. It's a total mom and pop retro ice cream parlor. There were so many unique choices for ice cream I had a hard time deciding. In the end I had a hot fudge sundae with home made whipped cream. The ice cream was GREAT!! The service was friendly and quick. There were a lot of people in there and they still had things moving along quickly. It really seems this place is where the locals go......always a good sign!! I had a chance to meet the owners working behind the counter and I can tell you they don't come any nice than that!! Taking the time to chat while still keeping things rolling worked perfect. As well, I did sample the "Beer" and the "Spicy" ice cream and both were very good!! Who would have thought!??!?! I will make sure to stop in when I am in town to try a new flavor and say hi!

The ice cream was good. It was home made banana chocolate peanutbutter. But the service was horrible and the place was messy. There were glass ice cream cups on the counter that were left on yhe bar from other customers that the server didn't clean up. The lady told us that she didn't want to use glass cups for our ice cream because she already had too many dishes to do and didn't want to add more. Her customer service was friendly, but super slow! They should have had more than one server working at 9pm on a Saturday night. Maybe we just had an off experience, hopefully you will find it different.

Great ice cream! Great milkshakes! Big store for an ice cream parlor. Many small tables for casual hangouts. Nicely decorated. Generously sized scoops.

I took my twins and wife here after dinner. The ice cream was very good and service was also very good. We had a banana split and it was HUGE! The chocolate sauce was very tasty. I love ice cream and this place knows how to make good ice cream. If you are in town, I would go there for sure!

Just got back from Scoops. This is a great place for good quality ice cream, milkshakes, banana splits, and also fudge! Think red velvet fudge sounds heavenly? Well come try it here. You'll end up buying some :). My In-Laws come here often, to get ice cream after dinner or a day on the lake, and also to grab a quart for the house. Favorite flavors include rum raisin, butter pecan, cappuccino, cookies and cream, sherbert. I also picked up some fudge to take home and enjoy with my vino. Dark chocolate Cabernet fudge. Heck yes. We met the owner as well. She is awesome. Support this local business, you will not be disappointed!

I love ice cream and this place does not disappoint. I tried the butter pecan and the butter brickle. All of it home made. Oh man! So good. Went with the hot fudge Sunday. If your in town, check this place out!

I can not even begin to tell you how amazing this place is!! Great ice cream with so many options! All homemade including the waffle cones! The people were super nice and I really enjoyed the service! They also make their own fudge! In a hot place like Lake Havasu city, I highly recommend this ice cream store:)

Small local ice cream shop that packs some serious homemade flavor. Only about 10 flavors, after never having been here before I got a mint and chip waffle cone the waffle cone smelled so good absolutely just made the ice cream had a subtle mint flavor so delicious. My boyfriend got this weird trial lemon flavor that tasted more like marshmallow ice cream with a note of lemon. We also got orange cream fudge which is to die for!!

It was another warm evening in Havasu and we were craving something cold and sweet. Ice cream from Scoops definitely hit the spot. All of their ice cream is homemade, they even had interesting flavors such as Guinness beer with chocolate cover and pretzels. Crazy right? Being that it was St. Patrick's day last week, I had to try this limited flavor. It was interesting and the Guinness was very subtle with the pretzels adding a subtle flavor. The chocolate and Guinness mix tasted a bit like the after taste of a good IPA. Scoops has an amazing family atmosphere that makes you feel as if you're ordering ice cream in the 60s. The worker was more than happy to answer an of our questions and even threw in a free waffle cone! Scoops is located in a random plaza, but it is definitely a gem in this desert. Anyone who is craving ice cream and is in the desert needs to try this for dessert.

AMAZING showed up 10 mins past closing and the were in the process of cleaning and closing for the night They saw us looking through the window. Came over and opened up the store for our group of 8 people. 10 more customers came in they must have stayed open an extra 1/2 hour to accommodate everyone. The nicest kindest people. Great ice cream too They have earned our repeat business

A great place to take a family. This place makes every single ice cream from scratch especially my favorite" chocolate". They also sell this delicious pumpkin pie fudge that is to die for! Prices are very reasonable and the lady who owns the shop is extremely nice.

To be honest it's a little hole In the wall trying to go for the old look which for a nice cream joint it nice. Service was good but my wife had a hair in her ice cream :(. Lady was nice and replaced her order but still was nasty. Ice cream we were told was made there and this is why I give it a two star.... The ice cream tasted cheap like cream was used as little as possible. Not a creamy quality at all which is what you'd expect from a joint like this. Overall blah.

My wife and I were hugry for ice cream and decided it was time we tried Scoops because it had good Yelp reviews and had been in business for a while. Finding a place to park presented a challenge at 6:30pm but we were finally able to locate a spot behind the building across the street. A short walk brought us to our destiny! Walking in, we noticed that the place was very clean and the person who waited on us was very friendly. It was a nice addition to what normally is a bland and unexciting main street area. I would give the appearance and service 5 stars, however, the ice cream was much less exciting. For some reason, the ice cream just didn't appeal to us at all. The flavor wasn't very strong and it seemed like it was on the verge of melting; almost like warm soft serve. Granted, I haven't had homemade ice cream for many years but I don't remember it tasting like that! When we finished it, we found ourselves still craving ice cream but from the grocery store instead.

My sweetie and I come here at least twice a month, much to the chagrin of our waistlines! The owners/family are absolutely wonderful. I know how much work it is to run a food establishment, and Scoops is ALSO at most, if not all, of the events around town. I cannot say enough good things about Scoops. We often get the banana split and share it (it is MASSIVE), or we each get a cone. They have some standard flavors, and some changing ones. The last one I had was pumpkin. DELICIOUS! We will probably see you this weekend at the car show!

We have thoroughly enjoyed the quality of premium ice cream at Scoops each and every week since we arrived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, June 2013! The consistent & superb treats are a highlight of Main Street. The family run business is a great example of cohesive efforts to successfully produce a great service, product and ambiance for residents and world wide visitors.

Tim and I tried this place out like 8-9 months ago and it didn't do much for either of us. Although it seemed like they had the all makings of a perfect old-time Ice Cream Parlour it just didn't deliver on taste or service. So, we're reading last weekend in the white-sheet that they are celebrating their 1 year anniversary. To change things up they are now making/offering homemade Ice Cream. We had to check it out again. They had 18 flavors of the homemade stuff. I tried Maple-Nut and Butter Pecan. Although both we're very "nutty" I'm kinda bummed out to say that it didn't really knock my socks off. The nuts seemed raw to me and I'd definitely prefer roasted/toasted in my Ice Cream. Service was very good and friendly this time. Shop is clean and very inviting. Cheap - Cheap - Cheap $1.80 Single Scoop $2.80 Double Scoop $1.00 to make it a Sundae $5.25 Banana Split and so on....... Anyway, I wish I could offer a better rating for a small shop like this but, just trying to keep it real. This review will put them on the yelp-map and maybe others will find a different experience here!?!

Great old fashion ice cream parlor that is a perfect stop after a day of boating on a hot summer day. The gentleman that greeted us, I think the owner, was very friendly and made us feel like family. I ordered a sundae and of course my son had to have a cherry on his ice cream too. The man behind the counter gave him a couple for his ice cream! Of course the second night we visited here he asked my son if he needed some cherries on top again! It's the little things that put a smile on your face and keep you coming back. See you on our next Havasu trip!
