We ordered one plain beef burrito with guacamole and one breakfast Machaca burrito. The ingredients for the first are simple. Beef, guac and a tortilla. We got beef, beans, cheese and the tortilla. The overly melted cheddar has a nice glob of melted cheese liquid fat waiting for you at the first bite. Watch out! The Machaca burrito was a disaster. Machaca is beef, onions, bell peppers, cheese and eggs. We got jalapeño (uncooked, raw at least a whole one was used), beef, onions, cheese and eggs. I honestly think the cook confused the bell peppers for jalapeños. Of course, the seeds, shape and smell should have given away his mistake but the dude still wrapped it up and served it. This place has been Alfonso's and a couple of other names. I wonder what it will be called next week?

Usually when I go here, the food is decent. But the last time I ate there, the food was burnt, I had chunks of onions, and even a fry, A FRY!!, in my chimichanga. I was disappointed in this experience. Please get back to the happy spirits and great food!

The people who rated this one star must have gone on a bad day. Yes they are correct, the place is nothing much to look at, a little hole in the wall at best. But the place was clean and looked authentic. If you go there looking for tacos that are made with preformed hard corn tortillas with a tablespoon for season ground beef and loaded with lettuce you better move on up the road to Taco Bell or Del Taco because you won't find those here. Paco's tacos, as well as all of their other items, are free formed by hand. All of their tortilla based entrees are packed with meat. I had a chimichanga that was absolutely HUGE! It was easily enough to feed 2 or 3 people. I ordered the usual which turned out to be made with a heaping amount of shredded roast beef stuffed into an extra large flour tortilla and also included refried beans, sauteed onions and peppers, then deep fried to golden perfection and topped with generous amounts of guacamole, cheese and sour cream. My dinner also came with a side of refried beans and rice but they were not as good as the star of the meal. The beans had a smokey taste to them which was good in the chimmie but not so good alone but my husband liked them. My son had ordered the carne asada dinner plate and I sneaked a taste of it. I know now what I am ordering the next time we go there. The carne asada is fabulous! Very tasty and tender. It too is served with a generous amount of fresh guacamole and also some diced onion relish. Paco's Tacos serves food that is close in taste to the street foods found in Mexico, very authentic! I would have given it 5 stars but there were few things that I thought kept it down. The smokey flavored refried beans and over cooked rice, the salsas from the condiment bar were not to my taste and the shop really does need an overhaul. Other than that I was very impressed with the food. We will definitely go there again.

Man, I must've gotten lucky because the Chorizo breakfast burrito with extra eggs I got here was delicious! The place certainly looked a little iffy, but some of the best Mexican places do!

WARNING! CAUTION! Ew. We were in town and instead of going to MY pick (the yelper champion who has never let us down), we ended up going to boyfriend's pick because he's "eaten here before" and it was apparently 'okay'. Alright, fine. NOT FINE. 1) bathrooms are outside the building, hot, unmanaged and they obviously don't get cleaned or restocked...ever. That will become a problem considering how quick your stomach will turn after you eat the food, if you even choose to. 2) it should have been a warning when we pulled up that there weren't any cars in the parking lot or any people inside except the one cashier at the counter and the chef behind the kitchen window. Oh don't worry, if that doesn't make you feel uncomfortable yet, after you get your food, all they do is talk and stare at you constantly. Awkward. 3) the 'salsa bar' was terrible and had 'FOOD POISONING' spread all over it. I could tell it wasn't fresh. The jalapeños and carrots were out of a can and the cucumbers were sitting in water to keep them from drying out because they couldn't consistently be restocked for lack of customers. The salsas were....okay. Idk. Everything here is shady. 4) cheese quesadilla - just tortillas and cheddar cheese melted. Nothing else. Cut up. On a plate. Very oily. Not pretty. They obviously don't care. Beans and rice - had to order them separately (a la carte). Rice was squishy and over cooked. Beans were, ew. They had a weird taste in my mouth and I almost spit them out, too bad I didn't. Tonight it going to be a friendly night in spent with quality time in the bathroom.

Too bad I can not give it less than one star... I come from San Diego, and out there some of the best taco shops look just like Pacos, wow what a let down. Ordered a breakfast burrito, bacon was over cooled, potatoes undercooked, cheese and eggs were in a glop in the middle of the burrito... Could not finish so gave it to the dog, he just looked at me like "You really want me to eat this?" After three days of sitting in the back yard I finally picked it up and threw it away. Food was so bad even a dog would not eat it...

Had the Carne Asada Burrito and was the best I've had. Used to think Humberto's was the best. Nope. The hot salsa is so good. Everything was fresh and delish. The eating area was clean and kept.

I was passing through Kingman and craving Mexican food. I pulled off the freeway and this was the first restaurant that I saw. The food is incredibly bland and tasteless.... There is very little difference in flavor between the rice, the beans, the enchilada or the taco that came with my combo #6. She asked me if it was "for here or to go" and I said for here... it still came in a to go container! I ate about a third of my meal before giving up.

All I can say is DO NOT EAT HERE. This place has been closed down for more health reasons and not paying their taxes many times. I think this is the fourth name change. This place is GROSS and that is being nice. The food is so greasy that it seeps right through the bag. The grease is so old that it is brown and so are your taco shells. The meat has no flavor and the rice and beans are nasty. Roach infested and grease ridden. The people that work here are RUDE I mean RUDE. This place needs to be torn down!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
