I have eaten here for years and it was my favorite restaurant in Kingman the previous 6 years. I'm not sure what has happened but the last three times I have eaten here it has been half the quality and the price has gone up.

I've lived in Kingman for 4 years and always driven right by this place, it looks like a dive. But... the health department loves it and now I do too. At every Thai restaurant I go to, I always eat the Massamun curry (#43 on the menu) and theirs was excellent. Just the right blend of spicy and smooth with obviously freshly cooked potatoes, peanuts, coconut milk, and chicken. They have a weekday lunch menu which is about $2 off of every entree. Otherwise, expect about $10-$12 for an entree. The service is not too good. When you get the bill, get up and pay at the cash register or you'll wait forever. Hence, only 4 stars.

EVERY time we eat here my husband and I say "why don't we come here more?" Truth is it's because the location is not the greatest, we rarely notice it when we drive by - BUT the food is ALWAYS exceptional! The restaurant itself is a little creepy, small, dark, outdated, and the service is a bit inattentive and aloof, but this is a small town and the food is GOOOOD, so it's not a big deal. Their Thai tea is SO good, and my favorite entree is the pineapple curry. I always try what my dining companions are eating (EVERYTHING is good) but I always get the pineapple curry for myself, you just can't go wrong with its spicy/sweet/sour combo! I just wish they stayed open a little later for dinner.

Staying in Kingman over the weekend for work, and decided to give local Thai a shot. The building is in really poor condition. I sat at a table next to a broken window. It was otherwise clean, but everything was just old and in shoddy condition. I didn't see Thai Tea on the menu, though I now see a picture of it here on Yelp. Huh. Would've been nice to have that with my Pad Thai Chicken. The food was so-so. I've had really great Pad Thai back home, and this was passable, but not great. The peanut sauce was watery, and no crushed peanuts on top. The siracha sucked. They apparently purchase theirs from Thailand, but it's actually closer to Louisiana hot sauce. There was a "Bathroom key" hanging at the register, so that seemed incredibly dodgy. Also, there was a TV inside, and some 20-something guy trying to setup Diablo on his X-box on this TV. What the he...??? After taking my order and delivering my food, the server and the guy on the X-box just left. When I was done I headed to the register, and fortunately someone came from the back to take my money. Kayla D. says this is the best Thai in town. That's unfortunate for you Kingman, AZ.

Great Thai food. I spent a year in Thailand and it immediately brought back that familiar taste. The owner was very very friendly and more than happy to please. Did not I have one thing that I did not totally enjoy. I will be back many times.

One of the best thai food I have ever tasted in Arizona. It is quite authentic as compared to other thai food.

Several Opinions say Curry is Best on this Menu Bangkok Thai offers a diverse menu of large-portion Chinese-American/Tempura with Thai the center attraction. It attracts a cross section of Kingman's finest and travelers choosing from all menu items. Human body language is a great language to learn. Too bad I'm so illiterate. You know how people think if they talk or yell louder, the other party may finally understand what is being said? That's when I get body language. I don't get Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French or German that way. I asked about a good lunch spot in Kingman. Going through the, "Well, what do you like?" list, when we hit Thai, my guide smiled like I do after creating a joke people actually like, her eyes opened wide as the Arizona sky over Kingman and her eyebrows practically lodged in her hairline. Pretty good reference. Shouting body language. Then she talked about Bangkok Thai. It's already been said, this is a small, plain place, easy to miss. It is east of Canada Mart and West of Railroad Park and the Visitor's Center on the south side of Old Route 66/Andy Devine Boulevard. The giant black Baldwin 4-8-4 "Mountain" Locomotive, Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Engine 3279 is a good landmark. Look across the street. I ordered hot ginger tea and green curry with chicken set at three on the one to five heat scale. While waiting I watched a looping Thai song and dance video. Not to offend the world's many traditions. I think the people, history and cultural mix of Thailand created some of the most graceful, precise and colorful traditional dance anywhere on the planet. Too-short neon-pink tutus and faux disco hip-hop moves cannot murder that grace and accompanying modesty. It was probably a Karaoke video, since the subtitles were Thai/Khmer . It looked a lot morer fun than my Devil-fearing Anglo-German relatives ever let me have on a dance floor. Sober. The pre-sugared steam-hot ginger tea had strips of fresh ginger, delivered in a clever large pot/cup with a lid. The curry was spicy warm, sweet with coconut milk, loaded with fresh vegetables and strips of chicken white meat. Brow-mopping factor was 2 on a 1-5 scale. My sinuses thanked me. I have no refined Thai dining background. I only know if I like what I'm eating. I liked the green curry a lot. I'll return bringing others. For curry at least. Next time I'm stepping up to four on the Curry Scale.

We were traveling on Route 66, passing by Kingman. Decided to have dinner at Bangkok Thai Cuisine because it looked pretty good on Yelp. We weren't disappointed. Ordered Thom Kha, Drunken Noodles, Thai Tea, Thai Coffee. Thom Kha was very very good. Seriously good! We will definitely dine here again on our way back to Arizona.

It is easy to overlook this place in Kingman. But definitely give it a try. I had their shrimp pad thai and I was pretty satisfied. Granted I have never been one to religiously test out thai restaurants, so I am not exactly an authority. It is dark and intimate in the restaurant but I usually get it as takeout. The portions are huge! I definitely got about 2-3 meals out of my portion.

Love this place. The owners are very nice and are always happy to prepare the dishes to your liking. I asked them to "just surprise me" and I was thrilled with the results. Thai Pepper Chicken. Yum! Just the right balance of sweet and spicy. They also had them do a catering order and they did a wonderful job. The food was tasty and on time. The only reason they don't get five stars is because of the atmosphere. The place is tidy but could use a makeover. Try it and you will like it.

SO GOOD. so so so so good. Super fresh and authentic, the best Thai I've had ever.

Food was very tasty. Fresh veggies and good flavors. Building is very off putting. You have to go outside to get to the bathroom. Bathroom is gross, which is freaky cause they KNOW the customer can see it. If they cleaned up the location I'd stay and eat and not just get it to go-

  • Brian Z.

Pretty authentic flavors that can turn off those who aren't familiar. Sampled most of the curries, the pad thai, and the drunken noodles and I stop in every week or two for dinner. These are five star. The Thai iced tea is a great relief to the peppers, but I like it medium spicy from the kitchen and a tablespoon of chopped peppers on the side. The potstickers are OK, the satay better, and the cucumber salad is very tasty. My only complaint is that they don't have duck for the curries. Family run and in business for seven years, I'm pretty sure that it's grandpa cooking in the kitchen. Compares favorably to the best Thai in San Diego, San Francisco, and DC. and almost as good as the pad thai that a Thai exchange student made from his grandmother's recipe. I'll never taste their Chinese portion of the menu because the Thai is too good.

Thom Kha soup is liquid crack. You MUST try it. I haven't had anything bad here... Yes the bathroom is a little scary...but the food more than makes up for it!

Stay away, another place with bad food, if you want to be sick, go here. Me I will pass

Staying in Kingman, my family and I needed to grab dinner and we decided on Bangkok Thai Cuisine due to the 4 and 5 star ratings on Yelp. We ordered the Appetizer Combo Plate ($12.95), Drunken Noodles ($8.95) and Red Curry ($9.95). Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed with the food given the high ratings. The Appetizer Combo Plate consisted of rather stale finger foods. The Drunken Noodles lacked any flavor and had a dry consistency. The Red Curry was actually pretty good so if you decide to come here I recommend sticking to curry dishes. I guess people who have eaten here have pretty low standards for Thai food. I expected a lot better.

  • Tiffany T.

I expected this place to be good due to the 4-5 star ratings. My family and I ordered drunken noodles, the appetizer combo plate and red curry. None of it tasted good except for the red curry. Everything else lacked flavor, it was either hard or stale. If you decide to eat here, I suggest you stick with curry. The workers were friendly though!

Ate: Spicy basil (which had no basil) Pad kee mow FYI, this is Chinese food "branded" as Thai food The portions are enormous, however.

  • Mike M.

The place was busy, but had good service. The food was surprisingly good for a place like Kingman. They didn't hold back on the spice, like you see in many small-town Thai restaurants.

We've been eating at Bangkok Thai for a few years now and have always loved their food. It is full of flavor and they have very generous portions. The staff is always friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

I came here on a third date last week and was definitely surprised to find such great food in Kingman of all places. My date and I shared an entree and two appetizers, potstickers and fried veggie rolls. The entree, the name escapes me, was a bit spicy for me (I'm a wimp) but my date was happy. At least it gave me a clue on what his scale of spice is. The apps were awesome and I'm not even a fan of potstickers but I liked these. Go here with a cute boy or girl and share some food, you won't regret it.

It's easy to miss this little restaurant, but the food was hard to forget. Pulling up to this inconspicuous building adjacent to a gas station, I had good expectations of what I had in store. I live by the motto: "the seedier, dirtier a place looks, the more delicious the food will be." With seating room for maybe 20 people, our elongated table of 12 nearly took up the whole space in the restaurant. I was definitely surprised to be eating at a Thai restaurant in the middle of Kingman, AZ. Being the only Thai restaurant in town, it was a good thing the service was expedient and the food tasted authentic. I had the Pad Sew Lew which consisted of broad flat noodles stir fried with broccoli and chicken. The noodles came out hot and fresh with each bite full of flavor. Everyone in my party also seemed happy with their meals as well. So if you're ever passing through Kingman and get the urge for Thai food, don't be afraid to stop by this unassuming little restaurant.

Amazing hospitality! Great Authentic Thai food. I just loved it!! Green curry was just right. For a veggie lower I just loved the food here. I normally don't write reviews but this is one place I'd Not want any Thai cuisine lover to miss.

Finally tried this hole in the wall. We had pad see ew and pad thai. Loved the pad see ew, did not enjoy the pad thai. Was drowning in too much of the sauce. Looking forward to eating here again and trying a curry. Definitely give this place a shot. Very friendly service. AC is a little off if you're going in summertime be prepared its not the coolest inside.

This is a pretty solid Thai restaurant, among the better places in Kingman to eat. Nothing spectacular, but after several days on the road I was looking for something other than Southwestern/Tex-Mex/BBQ food, and really wanted some authentic Asian food. The crab and pork dumplings were pretty good, although somewhat rubbery due to being a little overcooked. The pad thai was OK, but nothing special, but the penang pork curry was excellent. Bangkok Thai is on a par with the neighborhood Thai places that are very common in California and in major cities in the U.S., so finding one in Kingman was a big win. The service was prompt and friendly.

Authentic Thai food. Unexpected gem in a small town. Fresh vegetables with awesome seasoning, curry, etc. Addicted. ..you will want to order more!

I haven't really found a restaurant in Kingman that I can honestly say I would go back to more than once. BUT, I would have to say that I found my SPOT! A little hidden gem here in town. I never thought I would walk into Bangkok Thai Cuisine restaurant because it just looks so sketchy from the outside. The staff/owners are actually Thai and cook pretty authentic Thai food and I was impressed with the large variety of foods on their menu for such a tiny place. I ordered the fried rice and pad thai noodles (which is always my way of judging for the first time if this place is going to be any good for Thai food) and it was actually really good. I can't wait to go back and try other items like their curries and sticky rice with mango.

Being as I live in the Kingman area, this is one of the few places I am truley proud and exited to take friends. the food has always been outstanding, and the service is awesome. I recomend the garlic chicken, and even though I am a guy that loves my food spicy, these guys can even burn me to tears. The outside of the building may seem like some seedy little shack, but don't be fooled. This really is one of the highlights of my menu. Oh, and don't forget to follow up with a Thai tea.

One of the best Thai restaurants I've been too, and ironically it's in the middle of the desert. I had the pad see yew which was really good, my other friends had the curry and a mixed vegetable dish which they both said were really good. I've had lots of thai food in the past, especially in the greater Phoenix Metro area, and this place ranks up there with the best I've had. I unfortunately did not have time to go there more often. This is one of the little food highlights in kingman...highly suggested if you are sick of fast food

We come here often and find everything they serve to be very good. My fav is the tom yum soup, my wife likes their Pad Thai. If you like your food VERY spicey, ask them o make it "thai hot".

You would not expect anything special by the way it looks from the street, but the food is excellent, prices are very reasonable and the stuff is friendly. We shared soup and a couple of curry dishes, and it was the best food we had on the road to Grand Canyon. Definitely worth stopping by.

I travel to Kingman a couple times a month for business and this is not a culinary mecca to say the least. I checked out Yelp to see if anything might turn up and low and behold there was Bangkok Thai. I decided to check it out. I almost drove right by the place, it sits in what seems like the parking lot of the gas station on Route 66. To my surprise there were a lot of cars in the lot. Don't let the building ward you off, the food is good. I stayed on the mild side of Thai food choices, I had the steamed Pot Stickers and Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. The food was great, service was quick and friendly. I will definately be back. I'm sick and tired of Chilis. Try Mattina's if you are in Kingman as well.

Great little hole in the wall place. Not much else in the way of good dinning here in Kingman, but the food here was surprisingly good. Very fresh! I had the Dumplings, spring rolls, and pepper chicken and veggie stir fry. All were excellent.

WOW, WOW, WOW, all I can say , I stumbled across this restraunt by luck after asking several locals if they knew where to get good Thai food., they didn't know about it so I googled it. The location is tucked away but not hard to find and easy to google directions when in Kingman AZ. The place is small and not decorated as a typical Thai Restraunt would be but what it lacks in decor it makes up for in quality food with hearty portions. The Phat Thai noodles and the broccoli and rice was excellent and cooked to perfection. The service was very good and the waiter /owner was gracious and very accommodating, considering it was the dinner rush. The price for our meal with two Thai tea was just over $48 with tip, reasonable for two. This is a place I would recommend if you passing through the area and had a taste for good Thai food, family friendly and not bad for small groups. Enjoy.

The thing about this place is that us locals do not, in fact have a ton of options for great food in this town. But! This is the best option for Asian cuisine IN TOWN and if you are traveling through, it is worth a shot! The building is tiny and a little old and the service sometimes is a little quirky and it takes a little while when it's busy because it's a small staff...but they make everything fresh from scratch. The wonton soup has the most amazing flavor and the pad woon sen is absolutely perfect! Try a side of his fresh brown ginger sauce! They do serve wine and beer if you would like to drink and they do in fact have Thai tea! Yum!

Looking for some fast but reasonably healthy food while traveling is usually a lost cause. Not so here. We found the #29 pad full of crisp colorful vegetables, the egg rolls and tangy sauce delicious. Even the tall glasses of ice water tasted great, which is to say, no taste at all. In and out in 40 minutes well satisfied. Prices reasonable too.

Ok, don't judge this book by its cover. If you do you will miss something good. Everything was very flavorful. Stir fry Asparagus with shrimp very yummy. I hope we can stop here again.

This restaurant is a gem! At first my family and I were a little skeptical, but once we received our food we knew that we had made the right choice. The food is fresh and bursting with flavor. I will definitely return!

Bangkok Thai is a very good restaurant. They make healthy food that always tastes great. I have never had a bad meal there. They make the best Thai tea in town too.

Ordered yellow curry and drunken noodles. The curry was okay. The rice wasn't good at all. Really? Its rice. Drunken noodle tasted all right. They need make over at that place and definitely pricy for the food they serve.

This was very lackluster Thai Food. I had high hopes due to previous Yelp reviews, but I was disappointed. The tofu in our Pad See Ew came out burnt and had very few vegetables. The flavor was good, but did not mask the burnt tofu. The egg rolls were good, but very small. I wish they came with lettuce and vegetable garnish to wrap them in.

Not good. Food is very bland and no flavor. This restaurant would not survive in a big city. If you we want better food go to Chao Prayo in the Safeway parking lot in Bullhead
