The Drift Inn has some history, cold beer and decent food. The Rabogliatti Family sailed from Italy and settled in Globe, AZ shortly after the turn of the 20th century. They began to live the American dream by constructing a 6000 square foot building which was an outstanding structure on Broad Street. The building was divided into three separate businesses. The Club House Café, the notorious International Saloon, and the Western Cash. It was the "International Rooms" that was a prosperous brothel. After the famous gun fight in Tombstone, AZ at the O.K. Corral, October 26, 1881, the Earp's packed up and moved on to California. The Gal that loved Lawman Doc Holliday and everyone else, Big Nose Kate moved to Globe Arizona and opened a boarding house for miners in the International Rooms. Mattie Earp worked with Kate for a short time at the Globe bawdy house. They say the upstairs of the building is quite active with ghosts. Both men and "the ladies" have been seen up there in the back hallway. A cowboy spectre roams in silence as if searching for someone. The legend says a jealous early day cowboy came looking for his girl upstairs in one of the rooms of the International where he maliciously shot and killed her.

Wooden floors, concrete walls and tin ceiling... It's screams dive bar and it is. But friendly staff, cold drinks and killer wings. It's a nice stop taking the back roads between Tucson and Phoenix. It's a new favorite!! Great job!

Very cool old bar with good food at good prices. We drove through Globe on a motorcycle ride and stop in at the recommendation of a guy who owns Sidewinders in Top of the World, AZ. The burger and fries were very good and the place has almost every beer can ever made...and some pretty interesting pictures high in the walls ;). Cool front porch that looks like you could tie your horse to back in the old days. I did get some crap from a local Harley guy that told me to get a real bike, since I ride a sport bike. I told him that anytime he wanted to race I would go slow enough so he felt he might win.

Right in the middle of Globe. This is one old bar. Opened in 1902. Stoped here on a motorcycle ride from Tucson. The front porch is a great place to take in the sites. Not sure if they have food, never asked. The beer is cold and the help was nice. Check it out if you are in the area. It's worth the stop.

The food and drinks were very well priced and the quality of the food was pretty tasty for a hole in the wall little town like Globe. My wife and I visited on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised with the festive crowd and happy staff. I'm up here working and will return again. I would have given them 5 stars but they were way under staffed for that busy of a night so it took a long time to be served but once we did it was all great.

Came up here to scout locations for a shoot and this was the only place open at the time to grab a bite to eat. We stopped in and had some burgers. fries and beers. Everything was delish! The service was a little slow considering we were the only two people there but the server/bartender was really nice so it's all good! Next time you're in Globe, check this spot out...kinda feels like your on a film set!

Old West Bar 1902. The walk in cooler is wood and glass , the upstairs was a genuine brothel . It's the " old -West-real-deal". They have at least 1 cool bartender = Ryan. The drinks are affordable .The food is really Very Good. Burgers and pork wings and Jap Bottle caps all great .The owners are great gals who also own the Irish Pub " Farleys" a few doors away.By the way if the " drift " is a bit gritty for your taste ---- Farleys is New and nice & the fanciest drink choices in town .But try to relax and give the Drift a chance . Not everyday you find a bar with such a sweet "Patina".

This place is really authentic.. the decoration is.. interesting.. I was there on a Monday afternoon, it was dead with a weird ambiance, light and tv were turn off inside (really dark) and no music. I'm sure this place is a great place at night with all the things turn on! And more customers.

So it's been two years since I reviewed the Drift. My opinion remains the same. I love this bar! Tonight I tried the Philly Cheese Strak. OMG! That is wonderful!! And who can go wrong with the fresh cut potato chips. You gotta go here!!!!

Really nice old bar with a few craft beers on tap. The drawback to this bar on this specific experience was the bartender with the reddish hair. The bar was empty and she did not give me the time of day and really made it feel like the bar did not want my business. I recommend going next door to Jammerz where your business and money are welcomed with a smile.

A great bar for the necessities, music, cold beer, and motorcycle friendly.

If your looking for 4 star accommodation this is not for you...it's a great hole in the wall bar with a limited menu but the food is good and the drinks are cold...much neded after a long hot day in the saddle of my iron horse...I don't come this way but when I do I will be stopping again...
