Cowboy Butte is always good for lunch or dinner for Family events. I enjoy going on Mothers Day & Fathers Day just to have the great pies! Wish they would lower prices for winter though, locals love this place. Steaks always cooked to perfection, dinner rolls and potatoes YUM! It would be nice to see other types of lettuce or greens than the stock norm of iceberg lettuce. Bring the family and enjoy a local fun Restaurant, with great food for all!

Nice place to eat. The atmosphere is laid back with a western motif. The portion sizes are generous and the food is absolutely delicious. Don't pass this place up.

i'll be honest and say that i never thought i would stop in fredonia, az to eat dinner. we left the north rim grand canyon on our way to page, az. my brother in-law suggested the place because we were going to keep going to kanab, ut and eat at subway. we were not sure how reliable the recommendation was considering it was from our in-law. we are all hungry after completing the rim to rim. parking lot is all gravel and small. the restaurant has to big rooms for customers. our party of 7 adults and 2 kids were seated in a corner booth. dinner rolls were brought out before our meals. they were good. i ordered a new york strip and my wife a sirloin and the boys shared chicken tenders. my strip was huge and thick! just the way i like it. the potato salad was different but good. fries were good too. my wife's coleslaw was amazing! other folks in our group enjoyed their meals of burgers, ribs and sandwiches. the service was kinda slow but they were real nice and genuine. they offer free soda refills and to go cups for no charge. the restaurant also offers fry sauce! dinner for 2 adults and 1 childs plate was approx $57. the food was well worth it!

Brand new family-owned/run restaurant that was filled (about 16 tables) with tourists and locals. They only serve lunch and dinner. This is one of the only places in town that are open to eat. They serve burgers, sandwiches, homemade fries, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken strips, soda, coffee, homemade pies, etc. I had the grilled cheese with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy (one of the sides from the dinner menu). The service is slightly slow because they are brand new, but give them a chance. The food is worth the wait! The prices are reasonable and 3 of us ate here for $23 plus tip! If you're on the road from Utah to Lake Powell or the Grand Canyon, stop here for lunch! Right now they are cash only, but they will accept credit cards soon I think.

BOMB! I've had the chicken fried steak and roast beef sandwich and they were both amazing. If you ever find yourself near Fredonia stop by for sure!

This is the best place in Fredonia! The prices are more than fair, the portions are big, and the food is very flavorful. We went there with a party of four, all of our dishes came out cooked well and everyone raved about their choices. The rolls are very good. Being originally from this region, I enjoyed eating food that reminded me of food my grandmother used to cook. No complaints with the service. If I lived in the area, I would be like Doug H. and eat here at least once a week. Much better than the places in Kanab.

Stopped here on way from Grand Canyon to Zion and very glad we did. Got stuck in snowstorm (in April!) coming over mountains and we were hungry! Very friendly, quick service at reasonable prices. Place was very clean and the food was good. Burger and fries were delicious, they accommodated changes to orders and food allergies very well. A diamond in the rough, if you are hungry and in the area this is the place to go.

We were late going through town and needed to eat. It was recommended by locals, but, as my son put it, they lied about being made from scratch, or if it was, it was only after being frozen first. The fried chicken was precooked, put in the fridge or freezer, then refried or reheated. The meat was fridge cold on the inside. The hamburger seemed to be precooked and reheated as well. The turkey was ok. Head up to Kanab to find something. In our case we should have pushed on to the Grand Canyon.
