During my birthday celebration in Flagstaff we had breakfast on our way to the Grand Canyon. Our waiter was Peter and he was FANTASTIC. My fiance is deathly allergic to dairy and poultry. We made Peter aware of it and he made sure everything was ok for him to eat. He was quick and the food was received as ordered. The bacon was crisp and perfect. The pancakes were delicious. No complaints. We enjoyed the service so much we went back. We weren't in Peter's area so we had another server. Peter took the time to inform her of my fiance's allergies before she got to our table. His customer service is what made us go back every morning, even though there were other places to eat that were closer. Best Denny's I have been to in years.

We stopped at this Denny's after a day at the Grand Canyon. When we walked in, it seemed like maybe this was a mistake because it had definitely seen better days. This place definitely needed to be remodeled. But the food and the service were fantastic! They must have had a better cook than most other Denny's I have been to. Our server Ray was ultra-friendly and helpful. And quick. And the manager had dessert specials that were their normal $3 to $4 desserts for just 99 cents so we got one of each. Again, very good. We had a terrific meal and felt fully satisfied at a very good price. Yes, the place could have been cleaner. And it does need that major remodel. But for good food and great service on a weeknight, it filled the bill for us.

Yesterday I went here with some family and a friend. The order took a little long, and the food was alright, but at least it was filling. Also, the service we received was wonderful!! Lady with the red bun was extremely kind and thoughtful to our needs. Also, Mattison at the front was helpful, too.

Between the slow, terrible service and messing up and not correcting 4/7 orders it was a nightmare worth down loading this whole app over ... Save your money and go somewhere where they hear you out and try to keep customers happy. This is not the dennys for good service.

I ate here after hiking the Grand Canyon with another couple. The meal was decent. Afterwards, the other couple and I split the bill, paid, and were on our way. A month later, I receive my credit card statement in the mail, and I realized I was charged for the full amount of the bill at Denny's. I called the restaurant and explained the situation. The first time, "Nora" said she would look into the situation and call me back. A few days later, after hearing nothing, I called back. Nora said she would send me a money order in the mail. Three weeks later, I still have received nothing. I am shocked by the customer service and the lack of follow through of the employee to which I spoke. **UPDATE - I did receive my money order maybe a week after I wrote this posting. I appreciate that the store fixed what had been done, better late than never..

Pretty conveniently located restaurant, especially if you are spending the night on the I40 business loop. Food was average, dad and I had skillets, almost always win. Gramps ate his chicken strips, but found them a tad too crisp. To be fair, he has dental issues, but those strips were pretty heavily breaded. I don't know if that is something dennys can change, just be aware.

Terrible restaurant! !! Restaurant ran out of spaghetti? Pizza does not come with toppings. Mash potatoes served with no gravy. Beef tastes like beef jerky. Manager's rude. Maybe we are Asian? Will not step our foot in another Denny's again.
(1)Edgardo G.
Horrible service. The waitress Melissa could NOT take an order to safe her own life. Served cold beef, then brought the wrong order to our table. WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. And to be honest the place was not even busy at the time.

The staff here is amazing! I haven't met a single person I didn't like. And the managers are really friendly always walking around and checking up on us it's always great. The food is Denny's all right. Nothing too special but that's what I would expect from an ancient diner. Anyone who doesn't get that is an idiot. The bathrooms were so clean! Surprising for a Denny's but a treat. The servers definitely deserve to be tipped better. I came in with a party of 20 once and I learned there was no gratuity and felt so bad becauSe being a server myself I KNOW a lot of flagstaff locals are cheap and don't tip whenever they can. So I left our server 50 bucks. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone

I come here every time I drive through Flagstaff to go to New Mexico and vise versa. It's not the best of food, but it's something that I can eat for cheap on my long drives. Friendly service, usually not a long wait time. They also give you free birthday meals if you tell them it's your birthday.

Overview: Slow and poor customer service, restaurant wasn't even busy. Food not worth the cost. Observation: Cashier (Jackie) was not friendly...was very abrupt with us and other customers. She didn't greet incoming customers, then blamed a customer when he was overlooked to be seated. He was friendly about it, but made it sound like it was his fault he wasn't seated (a couple walked past him while he was waiting). We waited for a long time to pay for our bill. When it was our turn, I asked for a small container. After she took our payment, she walked away. I asked her about the container again and she abruptly said, "I'm getting it." Sheesh. We should have gone across the street to Coco's.

We tumbled upon this place in the night and still felt this restaurant was very warm and welcoming.

Seriously the worst experience I've had with any restaurant. My family and I are in town dropping off my little sister for college and spent the evening in downtown Flagstaff, had a great dinner downtown and decided to come here for dessert and coffee. We were sat down quickly, asked for two sundaes, a lava cake and coffee. My mothers coffee was spilling over the mug and cold. 15 min later our sundaes come out also spilling over the glass, one was served in a water cup, no lava cake was brought. We waited 20 min, no server came to follow up and we had no idea where he went. A woman helped us and we ordered the lava cake with no ice cream, it was given to us with ice cream. We mentioned around the manager our concerns and nothing happened and he never acknowledged the situation, it was horrible. We were told that our waiter went home sick, which then concerned us cause he brought out sundaes out, just the most horrible service and no management qualities seen there what so ever, even after our entire party eyeing the manager down he avoided us so he wouldn't come over. I will never go here or let my little sister go here anytime while attending NAU.

Stopped in with my husband, sister and her kids on the way back from the grand canyon. Nice clean empty Denny's. Food was the same as any other Denny's, alright, nothing special. My husband and I ordered a chicken salad, my sister said her Philly steak was good and the kids all enjoyed their kids meals w/ ice cream and brownies. Our waiter was super friendly even with having to deal with 3 kids at our table. Can't beat the prices for all six of us with tip only $45. Got to love that for a bargin.

Saturday my family and i had breakfast-lunch. Our server was training that day. Everything was good until after we reveived our food our wittress didnt come to our tables. Two servers with empry drinks at their tables. We didnt get offered or received any refills.
(1)Madeline G.
I'm not one to complain about food....But this is THEE worst Dennys establishment I've ever been to. Cold eggs, barely any red potatoes, did I mention ALL my food was cold? They also managed to screw up my friends poached eggs...twice. Worst Dennys experience ever.
(1)Sheryl D.
Can't say how the food is ordered an hour ago. We were told 3 people called in. However all other tables seved. Messed up on order.
(1)Mohammed A.
I've been waiting for more than 40 minutes for steak! I was totally ignored also the coffee refill was horrible, no one bothered to check on the coffee ..
(1)Vicky H.
Horrible customer service I have EVER experienced. I ordered the "Fit Slam" here, and oh boy was I UBER disappointed and upset in the service! The quality of the food here was mediocre like any other Denny's, however, this one in particular..PISSED ME OFF. As I entered Denny's it felt like I was being watched of my every move as if I was a criminal! ...YES I am a visitor why are you people staring at me for??? Is it because I am Asian? definitely did not feel comfortable at all, but we had a long trip ahead of us so we decided to go eat here. -.- so let the venting begin...: The service & food: As my family and I entered, as expected, greeted by a hostess. The staff here I thought was ok, but the waitress seem like she didnt know what she was doing. She brought us to our table, and told us our server was going to be with us shortly. As our server arrived he was very quite and seemed like a nice guy. He took our order and we then waited for our food to come out...the food took forever to come out! approximately 40 minute for breakfast to be served. My mother's food came out burnt, hard, and flavorless with small little portions of burnt bacon. [disgusting] My order was just ALL WRONG. Like I mention before, I have ordered the Fit Slam which consists of turkey bacon, egg whites, spinach, and cherry tomatoes with a side of fresh fruits....WROONNNNGGG, the ONLY thing they got right was the friggin' spinach. As the waiter brought out my food, i noticed it looked a bit empty...I was confused because it did not look like the picture that was promised. The only thing that they got right was...haha basically the spinach, fresh fruits and turkey bacon(which was burnt). What came out of that stupid meal was eggs...NOT egg whites, & no tomatoes . I was very upset so I asked the waiter to come by and explain to me why this order is wrong. He took the plate, did not apologize or say OH let me check on that for you. He just took it...he then said oh we ran out of tomatoes and puts the plate down and left...What kind of service is that????! I looked over to my mom's bf plate he ordered a salad that HAS TOMATOES IN THEM. WTTTFFFFF !!!! did not offer any substitute nor any apologies, OR a deduction on the tab for the inconvenience and mistake made for not notifying their customers before serving it... Getting to my point: Please save yourself the time and money and go to a ihop or something..im sure you will have better luck with them than this P.O.S!!!! GRRRRR!
(1)Drew T.
Food was average, service was good, and bathrooms were like a truck stop and there was a spider on our table. about what i expect from a dennys. not bad for a quick stop for breakfast, but i might just hit up the jack in the box next time.
