Driving from California to Arizona, we stopped in Cottonwood for what we thought would be a good steak dinner at their local Sizzler. We ate here years ago, and it was great. But...this time was the worst steaks we've ever had! We both ordered top sirloins cooked medium well. The steaks were vere small, smaller yet after cutting off all the fat, very tough, and tasteless. About the only thing that was redeemable from our meal was the baked potato and salad bar. The rest of the foods on the buffet line was so unappetizing in appearance, that we didn't even try. When we told the manager that we couldn't eat the steaks and had to send them back, he replied "okay." No offer to make it better or sorry. Will NEVER eat at this Sizzler again. It was the worst in taste and service, and a big waste of $30!. They could use some serious revamping with the cooks and management!

The one star is because I can't put no stars. $10 for buffet, drink not included. Only salad bar and tacos. They had spaghetti but ran out of nooles before I could get any. They did make me plate of noodles they were horrible. The baked potato was horrible, I mean really how can you even mess up a potato and noodles. We ate at a steak house in Sedona last night. Our bill was the same.... reduculous!!

Nice people. Good Food. Very pleasant!

The food is nasty. It just tastes old, and honestly just all around disgusting. If the food is gross at a restraunt, why even bother going?

We we have been eating at sizzler for years now, and I was never as disappointed as this last time we ate there and believe me it will be the last time we eat there. My daughters glass had lipstick on it, the chicken wings look like deep fried turds, the ice cream ran out of the ice cream machine so it was literally runny. The price is way too high for what little food you get to eat we will not ever step foot back in Sizzlers. Unfortunately the service was great the servers there are extremely friendly and courteous.

Ribeye steak- tasted weird and not bone-in Baked potato- fine Waitress- ok I remembered that sizzler always had that cheesy bread for every order. We didn't get it, maybe new policy?

I haven't been to a Sizzler in years but decided to stop by this week. I was shocked that it was $11.99 for the salad bar! I mean, I know prices have gone up but I remember it being $7.99 or thereabouts (and it's nearly the same price for a steak? Hmmm) Plus a drink and tip was nearly $20. Yikes! Anyways, I was somewhat dissapointed with the selection of food at the salad bar. Kind of limited but what I got tasted decent. My waitress was VERY sweet though and brought me an order of cheesy garlic bread that tasted great and kept my drink full. This place was busy on a Sunday afternoon. I dunno, not overly impressed, wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it wasn't bad.

This place is just sad, sad, sad! The one star is for the waiter that was there, trying to make up for the bad food. He was really sweet. I cannot say the same for the over seasoned steak and the pathetic salad bar. The Pepsi was a bad mix...too sweet. The Mexican taco selection looked so bad that I didn't even try it. The spinach, had a very weird taste, and spoiled the whole salad. It looked fine but tasted weird. The soft serve ice cream was the only good part about the meal. $30 for two pathetic meals, that we wished we hadn't eaten.

I'm not sure why this place has only 1.5 stars. It's Sizzler. It's consistent. Tasty. Clean. My steak was cooked perfectly. Seasoning was yummy. Broccoli was delish. All items on salad bar were fresh. Server was pleasant and attentive. There were a few tables that needed cleaning when we arrived, but no big deal. It wasn't busy on a Saturday eve.

Do not order ribs at this place! I ordered a full rack of ribs and it was disgusting. The ribs were salty and had way too much sauce. I am so embarrassed to have suggested this place to a co-worker and would advise others to save themselves the shame. Go to a chilli's instead for ribs. The salad bar seemed to be the only good thing about this place. I wasted $30 dlls, learn from my mistake.

Why is it we pay for a meal and now a days it not right... the order is wrong in some kind of way or food game bad. This is all true for scissors, i came with a army of 8 we all ordered about the same thing the sirlon tips special. The food i mean steak was nasty, too touching no flavor at all. Our waitress tried her best to make things right, but ideas the food that sucked. Even the icecream maker was broken and they ran out of sides we asked for. Again our waitress was great we left her a 20$ tip

I give the waitress a lot of credit for being so patient and attentive. First she just clocked in and had to find all the orders of all her tables. The cooks made one party members burger all wrong and was sent back. The second time the bun had cheese and butter, which the ticket said no cheese since that person doesn't eat dairy. Third time they just made a whole new plate. I had the salad bar and it was decent and filling. Best part was the desserts though. Excellent fresh peach cobbler and bread pudding. Kids loved the ice cream and the cookies looked delicious. Overall, our waitress saved the day and pulled through for a good meal. Great wait staff but horrible cooks.

Just came from there. REALLLLLY BAD. They could not even be bothered to stir the items on the Mexican food steam table, the desert table (bread pudding) ahd not been refiled and the fruit and the surimi in the seafood salad salad all had HUGE chunks and I had to cut them up with my steak knife. In desperate need of new management. I doubt corporate would be amused.

We ate here for lunch. The prices were ok for the lunch menu, (if the food had been good) but you still had to add 4$ for the salad bar. Me and my wife ordered sirloin tips it was the special, (we did not add the salad bar) I got my 5 year old the kids buffet. The manager acted preoccupied and that she did not even care if we were there. The hot buffet food was horrible. Everything tasted canned with absolutely no flavor. How can you make bad spaghetti? Chicken wing was even horrible and looked prepackaged. The salad bar and fruit looked ok. Ice cream was good. Our food came out, the sirloin tips were so tough (not sure why they asked us how we wanted them cooked, they were well done) but what made them horrible was the thick canned dark brown gravy that smothered them. Baked potato and bread were good. The meal with tip cost us $30 for lunch and it is the worst meal I have ate in a long time. Fancy price for very poor food. The place has that dingy dirty feeling to it, kind of a film on everything. Our waitress was very kind and we tipped her well.

I haven't been to a Sizzler in years. I was feeling a steak while passing through Cottonwood, AZ and there were two options. One of the locals recommend the Sizzler because the other was just "overpriced". I thought I would give it a try and I must say I was impressed. Incredibly friendly staff and the steak was cooked to perfection. It wasn't a filet (not offered) but it was the best ribeye I've had in a while. Yes, there was some fat I had to cut off but that just comes along with the cut of meat. It was seasoned to perfection and very tender for a ribeye. I will definitely stop here again if ever in the area.

Not bad! Went there for the Sunday brunch, had an omelette & waffle station that made some good stuff. All sorts of breakfast items available until 3 pm... eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. etc. Clean, friendly, nice place. Don't expect anything "gourmet" and you'll be all right!

This fit the bill with the senior citizens in my group. Unfortunately that leaves out everyone else. Horrible food with a mediocre soup / salad bar. Do yourself a favor and keep on driving, no matter how hungry you are.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. However, when we went in I used the men's room and noted that there were no paper towels to use after washing my hands. I told an employee about it and she said she'd tell the manager. It was a slow night and we were with friends we had not seen in a long time, so (with permission of our waitress) we sat and chatted for almost two hours after we finished eating. Just before we left I used the restroom again and there were still no towels. I told a woman who I assumed was a manager and asked her how male employees washed their hands. She just kind of laughed it off and said something about that's what aprons were for. I'm not sure we'd go back, based upon that alone.

Very dissapointed they had horrible food with a mediocre soup / salad bar. I had better food in the Navy 30 years ago.
