I was surprised that there are already reviews on yelp about this place.. I was hoping I would be the first one! The food was absolutely great. Both the wheat bread and croissant tasted like they had been made minutes ago, and the sandwiches overall were awesome. They also make a new quiche every day and switch up the flavors all the time, so if you stop by, definitely try the quiche or one of their awesome breakfast sandwiches. The service was a little slow but totally understandable for a tiny cafe with only 1 person in the front and the other one in the kitchen, esp since they make everything from scratch. Loved this place and recommend for anyone who is on their way to sedona. Note that you might feel a little stared at... we were the only non-locals there and apparently it was ridiculously obvious that we werent locals, :p

Very friendly atmosphere. Great service, delicious food and the croissants are out of this world. We'll definitely be going back again, and again!

This was only our second visit to this quirky little eatery in the burgeoning Old Town Cottonwood district. The first time we just had a cup of coffee and a biscotti but this most recent visit included lunch. I had a wonderfully fresh ravioli and prosciutto salad while my son sampled their chicken salad sandwich on a croissant which was equally delicious and fresh. Their freshly made lemonade is the real deal - perfectly tart and not too sweet. The real winner of the day was a freshly baked croissant sliced in half and filled with vanilla pastry cream which was obviously homemade. Delightfully delicious. This is a cool little place with tables and chairs on the sidewalk surrounded by lush greenery and flowers and lots and lots of very pesky flies which was the only drawback of eating out there. The help or owners are very friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh. The coffee drinks are very good and the cookies and pastries as among the best.

I've stopped coming to Old Town Cafe. The food here actually is very good, (hence the 2 stars) however the staff makes coming here an unenjoyable experience. I was a very loyal customer for quite a while, but I could no longer deal with the extremely slow service not to mention the rude attitude of the servers. There are far better places to pick up a coffee and croissant.

Excellent sandwiches. Had the roast beef on a flaky croissant. Fairly large menu with a lot of options. Very yummy! Quick service, too. Nice little place. Loved the old building and original tin ceiling,

Man, if I live here, I would make this my regular spot!! This is such a cute little cafe. I can only review this place basing on the regular latte. Seems like a place where the locals hang out. I think there's not a lot of Asians living here, so I got some weird stares as I walked in. The ladies there were super sweet and nice. The pastries looked so delicous. I could punch myself in the face for not getting it. (I had contemplated a long time before deciding against getting the pastries) Pricing is worth the taste. It's a bit more expensive (by about $1-2) than regular Starbucks coffee. Great coffee!! They take credit cards too. Cafe is tucked in a tiny little store on an old street. Very homey.

"Old Town Delicious" Near better-known Sedona, Cottonwood's Old Town Cafe is a literal oasis of yum. Of note (see photos, too): Prosciutto salad: A life-raft of organic spring mix with feta cheese, olives, tomatoes and roasted pecans, served with delicious grilled bread. Homemade quiche with split pea soup: Super-yum. Variety of panini: all perfectly executed. A light crunch gives way to melty, luscious goodness. Paired with an exquisite salady moment. Mixed fruit pastry: a picture speaks a thousand throaty moans. Have a look ... Lovely outside seating, but you may be battling it out with the bees. Granted they may be America's last remaining bees. But they're still bees. Highly recommended.

We stopped in old town Cottonwood for a coffee and a bite, and the Old Town Cafe fit the bill nicely. The straight espresso and mocha drinks were both good. We also ordered an excellent roast beef panini. Service was fast a friendly. There is both welcoming indoor and outdoor seating.

We stopped in for lunch. We were a group of 7 tourists. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Southwest Sourdough Burger was especially good. The salads were large and equally good.

Nice place for lunch. Food is a bit pricey for what you get but it was tasty and the staff was very friendly. Their croissants are amazing.

We really enjoyed the coffee lattes etc, sandwiches and pastries/cakes. Worth the visit, even with the drive from Sedona
