Great burgers and atmostphere! This little burger joint was a pleasant surprise. All food is prepared fresh and is served HOT and quickly. There are daily specials and you fill out an order form at your table. It was a fun difference. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it.

I came here after reading an article in some magazine that claimed Bing's was one of the best burger places in AZ; I highly disagree. While the old 1950's gas station atmosphere is adorable, ( hence the reason for 2 stars) the food and service was far from satisfactory. The lady behind the counter had an attitude like I was bothering her by trying to order my lunch, the food was slow, and while the burger was ok the fries were soggy and disgusting in general. At $10 that meal was overpriced for the quality. You could easily get a better burger and fries as well as a better service experience.

Horrendous customer service! I went there recently with my 5 year old son who is well behaved and used to going out to nice restaurants not just a burger joint. Right from the start the older woman there was very unfriendly . Then while we are waiting for our food an older man who also seems quite dissatisfied with his lot in life said something rude to my son and then grabbed the ketchup bottle out of my son's hand! He was reading it because obviously he is an early reader and this dipsh!t has the nerve to grab something out of a strangers hand?! Whether someone is a child or an adult they deserve respect. Awful place will never return. Food was greasy too.

A HUGE surprise to find an ACTIVE Classic Burger joint on a highway to Jerome, AZ. We were stumbling around outside of Sedona and found this quaint burger joint with good burgers, malts and a classic car history. Also go next door and visit the very deep antiques store. Kids and wife kept taking pictures. Staff very friendly.

Having read about Bing's on Yelp (and traveling with three boys that like their burgers and fries) we stopped in at Bing's. It was a great spot. Very nice service. They had homemade chili but alas..it was all gone when I ordered some. I went with the patty melt and it was good. The fries are FRESH CUT and great! My boys had hot dogs. They were nothing fancy but tasty just the same. It was just two guys working when we were there, and both really seemed to know what they were doing. My only complaint: Pepsi products and no beer. I just don't think you can wash down a burger properly without beer.

Cool, retro burger stop set in what looks like a converted gas station. My son absolutely loves this place because of the old soda/gas signs peppered throughout inside. We had lunch here and found it to be charming. We ordered burgers, cheese fries, and sodas. My son loved their Coke floats. The staff were friendly, too.

We stopped in here for lunch one day, I was hankering for a milkshake (even though it was cold outside). I compromised and had a chili dog with it and both were delicious. You order on your own little paper slip (one per person) and so you KNOW it will be correct. The owners were friendly and prompt. The decor is super cute- very "old filling station-esque" with lots of old license plates on the wall. The price was right- I think our total was about 20-25 bucks for 3 people (2 milkshakes, 2 dogs, a burger, fries and a drink). All high quality food. I'll be back.

Best burgers in town! Awesome diner feel, good specials, malts, and service! Absolutely love it and keep coming back!

I LOVED this place! Stopped here on the way back from Sedona. I got the burger and chili cheese fries. The burger was perfectly cooked--better than anything I've had in the big city in awhile! The chili on the fries tasted homemade and perfect. I got my food so quickly, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be going back!

The food was delicious, real milkshakes and fresh French fries. The old gas station look is what brought us here. The team is welcoming and the place clean. We're from L.A., but we' ll come back for sure.

Great burgers .. Even better fries, I definitely recommend this burger joint. My only complaint was that the owner seemed to hover around way to much, we ate out on the patio and once the crowd died down the guy kept coming to the window and looking out at us, made me feel a bit uneasy. Other than that I have no complaints, love supporting our local shops especially when they serve great food and this place definitely does.

I really want to give this place a higher star rating, but I can't bring myself to. It's a nice little place, but there's just not much going on here. I came here for a burger, some fries, and a crepe. Everything was fine, just fine. As the three-star rating says, it's A-OK. Nothing bad about it. But to me, personally, there are much tastier burgers nearby. And much tastier fries. And even tastier crepes. The food here is fine, and if you're just fiending for a burger and want t nice little place to get one, then you could definitely do a lot worse than here. I hope that they succeed- I really do. But honestly I probably won't be eating here again. Also... this review is for the Gilbert location, which somehow links to a Cottonwood location... I'm not sure how that happened, but whatevah...

Great local burger place in the neighborhood. Fresh cut potato fries, picked the green chili burger with grilled onions - fantastic food quality and taste. Will be back! Had no idea this place was even there.

First of all, im a real burger man and love to chase the perfect burger on chainrestaurants, small diners and finer establishments. I had high hopes for this cute 50's retro gas station turned burger joint after the raving reviews here. I had a regular bacon cheese burger with lettuce, onions and mayo. The burger was really good, the bun was perfect and the add ons nothing to complain about. A solid old fashion burger. The fries where ok but nothing special. The ice cream made of ice cream and milk was really good too but maybe a bit on the small side in my opionon. If you are in town and want a good burger above the Jack in the box or Sonic Drive in standard in a nice setting, Bings Burger Station is the place to go.
(4)Tyrus K.
Very mediocre food. The atmosphere is fun and has the whole route 66 old time theme going for it. The vanilla malt was delicious! I would come back for the malt but not the food.
(3)Robert K.
Great little spot in Cottonwood that we just happened upon. All four of us got burgers and they were awesome. Great service, great good and nice thick milkshakes. If you're in the area stop by.
(5)Christopher M.
I love this place, the burgers taste fresh and the people are friendly. And the shakes, O-M-G. If you go here dont leave without getting one. SUPPORT LOCAL!!!
(5)Steven H.
Bada Bing! This place is good! Took me back to olden day memories of seasonal malt shops of New England summers. The burger=perfect. The fries=perfect. The surroundings and staff were immaculate. If you have a yen for a burger or sundae, make this a stop for you. It's right at the entrance (road bends) to Old Town Cottonwood.

Stopped into Bing's on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few people inside but it was not crowded. They have order forms that you fill out at the table and then bring up to the counter to order. Boyfriend and I each got a cheeseburger, fries and a malt. The food came out fast and the guy working behind the counter was very friendly. The burgers were really good! I noticed the patties were not perfectly round suggesting that they are hand-formed, not frozen and they tasted like it. They had that homemade burger taste that makes a burger extra good. The fries were good too, skin on. I ordered a small order and it was indeed small. So if you're really wanting fries, go for the large. The chocolate malt was tasty too - good and malty! Nothing bothers me more than places that sell "malts" but then you really just get a shake. Bing's offers both and they know how to make a real malt! The atmosphere was nice, it has an old-school diner feel. And it was clean. I would have liked to hear 50's music though. There was no music at all which was kinda weird for a diner in my opinion. Definitely worth stopping by if you're cruising through Cottonwood and need a quick burger fix.

This is a great little place to check out if you're cruising through Cottonwood. Great burgers and fries and easy to order! They probably have some of the quickest and friendliest service I've had in a long time! I had a deluxe cheeseburger and added bacon and green chile. Yum! Drop in and grab a bite, you'll definitely enjoy!
(5)Jessica P.
We came here based on high reviews by yelpers. The place was great and the history was even better, the food, not so much. The burgers were nothing to write home about and don't even get me started on the fries. The were like limp noodles. It seemed like they were made early that morning and say out all day. What a disappointment! On a happy note, the onion rings were tasty and so were the malts.
(2)Denise S.
We sat the counter and enjoyed watching the extremely hard working and efficient guy that was cooking. It was the weekend with only 3 people working a packed house. I saw a lot of cleaning in between orders and some solid teamwork. I guess others didn't have the same crew during their visit. Now since they were so focused/busy I could see a lack of smiles and chatter might bother some. Chili dog was good and the fries were good even though they don't look appetizing since they are fried from raw. The chocolate malt was very malty which I loved. The root beer float was the best since it was a cup filled with ice cream and you could keep refilling it at the fountain. We were please we had turned around and gave this place a shot. We plan to return.

4 of us stopped in for some ice cream and after our experience I guess this is a burger joint and not an ice cream place. I ordered the banana split and was told they only serve it on vanilla ice cream (which was ok), that they only had chocolate and carmel sauce and no nuts (because lots of people are allergic to nuts). So why call it a banana split. I didn't order it. The strawberry milk shake came with just a HINT of strawberry in it and too thick to drink through a straw. The chocolate malt came with also just a HINT of chocolate and less of the malt. Both shake and malt had lots of ice crystals in them....not good. The lady who waited on us knew nothing about customer service and wasn't very pleasant to deal with. Not a great experience, won't back.

Excellent hamburgers. Fries are good. Chili is very tasty, but is spicy and a shade greasy. That said, I don't go for really spicy food. Most people from Arizona would love it. Very friendly staff, beautiful location.
(4)Eric M.
Horrible, food sucks and the staff is rude! The place is dirty. We felt like we were a nuisance, asking for anything the waitress seemed annoyed. Most the time you had to ask twice. Don't waste your time. It got 1 star cause 0 was not an option.
(1)Christine R.
I'm giving Bing's 5 stars for the burger and the locale. Their fries are sub-par; wish I'd tried the onion rings. The burgers are tasty. The restaurant is in a converted gas station and has a 50s retro vibe to it. The guy at the grill was an artist as he flipped burgers, prepped buns, and cooked fries and rings.
(5)Kursten O.
Bing's Burger Station is so much fun! It's in an old time remodeled gas station that still has a lot of the charm left. A family owns and runs the place, which is kind of neat. We sat at the counter when we went and were able to watch the action, which the kids enjoyed. There are note pads at each seat that you use to write your order, then you take it to the register. We had a couple of burgers, a couple of hot dogs, and some onion rings. The food was very good. Everything is made fresh to order, which caused a bit of a wait because it was prime lunch time. I'm totally fine with the wait for good food. My only complaint is that the family wasn't terribly friendly or outgoing. They weren't rude because they chatted with us when we tried to be friendly, but they didn't go out of their way.
(4)Randall W.
Great fifties diner. The decor is great ant the food is good. I had the chili cheese dog and my wife had the patty melt. The malt and onion rings were goo gas well.
(4)Ron R.
Burger was very good, Patty Melts (we had a couple), the onions were still a little raw, but overall good. Chicken sandwich was okay, didn't have much flavor. All the fries were very greasy. One of our fries orders was a large and we were disappointed with the quantity. Seemed more like a small order compared to most restaurants. This place appears to be family run and the owners were friendly. It just seemed like they were rushed during our visit and the quality of the food suffered a little.

I have a sad and tragic story about discrimination in this Nation; I've NEVER been exposed this type of discrimination ever until we visited Bing's Burger Station in Cottonwood Arizona on April 9th at lunch time. I must 1st say I am sure this is not representative of the citizens of Arizona.......THE STORY: I guess when you walk into Bings Burger Stations establishment with two well respected Black women ( Sandra and Dee Dee) who are with two well respected White men Gregory and Myself); the service seems to falter once you get into the door. We visited this Establishment on April 9th for lunch and got the coldest looks from everyone once we entered. We were told to sit down at a booth and fill out our menu via pencil and pad; and a waitress (who was elderly) would pick up our filled out orders. I sat next to Sandra, and Greg sat next to Dee in our booth inside the restaurant. There were only 3 tables occupied out of the 10 tables in this place and no one at the counters. We waited and waited for about 5 mins, then our friend Dee took our filled out menus up to the register. There the woman said "I told you to go sit down and I'd pick up the orders" so we waited another 5 mins. During that time a typical family (white family) walked into the door at sat down at the soda fountain counter and were greeted immediately and orders taken. We waited another 3 minutes and again no service. Then I decided to go up with the menus, there she told me that I was suppose to take the orders up to the registers. So 1st we were told twice that she'd pick up the orders then she tells this white man that I was suppose to take the orders up. Hummm, was it the fact that they assumed we were an "Inter-Racial" couples having lunch at their establishment. SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...............Forgot to mention we ended up leaving the restaurant not spending 1 cent of our gay dollar. We ate at a quaint Sandwich shop down Main St where we got superb service and great sandwiches. We were "Gay Patrons" unbenounced to them, which I am sure we would have been treated worse had they known we were "Gay". What is it with the word "Gay" that people get so uptight about whenever they hear that word or see a person and make assumptions......Shameful is all I can say about it.

As we drove through Cottonwood and rounded the bend, my eyes were drawn to what looked like an old Texaco gas station. It was brightly painted and had an old red Plymouth sitting in front. My first thought was I had to photograph it. Then, thanks to fellow Yelpers, we found it also serves good food in addition to being good looking. We stopped in tonight after exploring some of NPS treasures at Tuzigoot and Montezua's Castle, and had some veggie burgers and fries. They were delicious. I'd highly recommend having a lunch here anytime you happen to be in Cottonwood. It's a really cool place, inside and out.

Cute place. Had a grilled cheese and it was very bland. My husband had a burger and was very good. Fries were under seasoned and not very crisp. The two men working seemed care less about it all
(3)Bill H.
Been there a couple times, once for a blue cheese burger and the second for a guacamole burger. Both were pretty good, with onion rings and chocolate malts. It's a good 5-dollar sammich, but the OR and malts were the stars. They are fast on getting food to your face...The place was almost to capacity and our table was eating within 10 minutes.
(4)Joe A.
If you want a classic burger, this is the place. Food is fresh and tasty. Atmosphere is one of the best in the area.
(5)Frank W.
Great nostalgic place to eat and very easy to get to. The food is great and the shakes and malts are only the best! If you find yourself in old town walking around and taking the sites do yourself a favour and stop in!
(5)Natalie S.
After seeing the reviews on yelp about this place i said what the heck lets try it out..we went in on a wed morning wid my mother and sister and we walked out with no regrets..burgers are good and so are the fries:) nice place to hang out and chit chat will be back soon

As a lover of diner burgers and a fan of converted gas station diners I had to stop at Bing's on a recent day trip through Cottonwood. The decor was classic Americana (license plates adorn the front wall, vintage signs, clean, bright colors throughout). The staff was cheerful, helpful and friendly. The burger was exactly what I expected - a nice quality 1/4lb patty cooked to order with a side order of excellent fresh cut fries. We stopped in at around 1 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the counter. All in all it was a very positive road trip diner lunch. Highly recommended.
(4)Amanda R.
Bing's is a great place to get your basic burger and fries. The food is delicious, cooked right in front of you, and served in a perfect portion, which is to say that they are perfect for one person--not the 1/2 pounders that are popular these days. The atmosphere is fun and the outdoor seating is nice. I love the old-fashioned sodas!
(4)Happy Mama M.
Great food! We stopped in for a fast lunch on our way through town. The restaurant is very cute. The food was very good. I highly recommend the fries!!
(4)Mike S.
This is the perfect place for lunch in Cottonwood. The place looks great and the food is outstanding. Terrific burgers, chicken, fries and shakes. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended.
(5)Robert W.
PERFECT burgers & fries! Only open for short lunch hours and a bit spendy, but if that's what it takes for these folks to do what they are doing, keep it that way!
(5)Doug B.
We have been by Bings Burgers quite a few times when camping in the area or going to Jerome. Don't do what we have done too many times, drive by. Bings is a great spot for greater food. The burgers are superb and the fries are perfectly crisp and tasty. I heard another customer comment that Bings had the best onion rings he had ever eaten. Friendly, courteous service topped off with terrific food in a Fifties style diner, what could be better? Looking forward to the next visit.
