Good food in local no-frills setting. I ordered the 12-oz sirloin with salad bar and baked potato side. Mom ordered the chicken burrito special. Both were large portions that we couldn't finish. The sirloin was cooked as expected and a good cut for $17. Mom's burrito was a deal at $10. Waitress was friendly and very attentive so drinks never emptied. Overall, we had a good dinner at a local restaurant that was enjoyable for just over $30. The only downgrade was the entrance takes you right through the bar. It wasn't too busy, but I can imagine if it was crowded would make the ambience suck. Also, kids were hanging out at the bar. So I guess the enforcement of local laws is lax.

The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the antipasto salad and it was one of the best I have had. I definitely plan to return some time soon. Thanks Grasshopper Grill!

I've been here a few more times now and my initial review holds up. Their food is consistently good as is their service. My wife thinks their nachos were bland but our son sure seemed to enjoy them. The Gunslinger burger with fresh jalapeños is dynamite but extremely hot and not for the faint of heart (burn).

If you miss the Hideaway's Anti-Pasta Salad since the REAL Hideaway (not the fake Hideaway House that opened in the same spot) in Sedona was forced out of business after several decades due to a new landlord, give Grasshopper Grill a try! It is not exactly the same but, after trying a dozen other anti-pasta salads looking to fix our craving, this is as close as it gets. We shared the large $10.00 salad and shared the awesome special of the day. Our kid was super happy with his kid's meal. We will return for sure when nearby, which is several times a year during our travels to Sedona.

Possibly the worst hamburger I have ever had! Everything from the grey tomato to the wilted shredded an soggy lettuce and pickles to the over cooked meat to the stale bun an service was a complete disappointment! Don't waste your money! Better options in the area.....

We took our RV to Page Springs and tried this place on a whim. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the food and keep returning! My favorite is the cajun chicken sandwich, it is outstanding! But, the number one reason for returning is the service. It is always excellent. We like to sit at the bar and each time we are served by a friendly, attentive and efficient bartender. They are very knowledgeable about the menu which is very helpful. They also make you feel welcome - this is very important if you are only a visitor to the town. The live music on Thursday-Saturday is an added bonus. We are already planning another trip to Page Springs and this is the only restaurant we plan on visiting.

We hadn't been to The Grasshopper Grill in a while, but saw a recent ad in a coupon book that showed they had a Tuesday night special....Burger and a Beer $5. We love those specials, so we decided to make the trip to Cornville. The waitress immediately told us that the "special" was only til 4 p.m. We re-checked the ad...which didn't mention that. Three other tables came in while we were there....asking for the Burger N Beer special and they were told the same thing. Lots of disappointed people. I think if it was advertised, they would have made better future customers by saying, "This was a typo by the printer...but, we don't want to lose you as customers...and you came all the way out to see us. Tonight, we will honor this special, but in the future - the special is a lunch special and only til 4 p.m." It wasn't handled well.

My girlfriend and I had lunch on Saturday...my first time she has been before with her husband. I loved the front of the building when we drove up. Nice when you walk inside...you walk through the bar where you can eat at the bar or at a table. Or you can continue walking through to the downstairs tables about 3 steps down...nice looking salad bar....looked fresh...I had 3 fish tacos. They were delicious but I never tasted any fish. Usually when I get fish tacos there is a chunk of fish in each one. ??We had a cold beer from the tap. Very cold and delicious. I ate everything on my plate...Sarah was our server. She was wonderful..I since found out she is one of the owners....I will be back...Thank you Sarah for a nice lunch at a very nice place...

Live close by and driven by this place a lot of times... People kept raving about it so we tried it a couple of weeks ago. We went for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. I had eggs over easy with toast and home fries. Eggs were perfectly cooked and potatoes were the real thing. My husband had steak and eggs and loved both. We will definitely be back for dinner. Only complaint..Country music! Not my fave.

Stopped in tonight after seeing this place on restaurant.com . I was happy to say that the food was very good, and I'd have been happy to eat there even without the coupon. The food was reasonably priced and of very good quality. The service was good and our waitress was friendly and had a great attitude. The place was filled with locals, which is a good sign. I'm always wary of places that are filled with tourists because there is little incentive for the place to work hard for the repeat business. For an appetizer, we had the chicken tenders, which appeared to be hand breaded, not frozen. For our entrees, my wife had a pulled pork sandwich and I had the ribs. Both were extremely tasty. As for the ambiance of this place, I'd agree it's not a trendy spot, but its not trying to be. Its a small town grill and it looks like it. There was someone playing live country music, which I don't mind, but it may bother some.

We had dinner, party of 8 from Cali.. . The food and service was great. Burgers, Fajita/Enchaldas, Fish platter, Hot wings, Drunken shrimp, Onion rings, Moz sticks and Chicken strips. The server Chad; did his thing !! Please try the fried ice cream and browine sundae for dessert....Thanks to the bartender his directions from Flagstaff was right on the money and made this all possible.

This place made the BEST and juiciest burger! The GOB rocked but I am going to get the SOB next time. Twiggy was the bartender and she is a total hoot! This place may be um...................remote, but I could have hung out for hours. We have made a pact that we will hike further and higher next trip to Sedona to justify eating more when we come back through this way. Onion rings, and I am a snob, DELISH!

Saw an ad on the "resort channel" at the Sedona Summit Resort. The Grasshops claim to fame are the baby back ribs. I would give the place about 4 stars based on the ribs but had to lower the overall rating based on the decor (or lack of). The place looks like a major dive and could use a good scrubbing. The down to earth crowd can handle the place but anyone remotely snooty would want to turn around and walk out. Our waiter was friendly and the service was good. I had the ribs and they were quite good and fell of the bone (almost too much). The BBQ sauce was yummy-more sweet and almost fruity than spicy or zesty. I went with my mom and she ordered the sirloin steak. The cut was too thin and over seasoned with icky garlic salt. Salad and soup are serve yourself. The chicken tortilla soup was good but the salad bar was pretty droopy. Portions are large so you be bringin some home for lunch tomorrow. Overall, with a few tweeks, I think this place could get to a solid 4 stars. Cute decorating, some ice bins too keep the salad bar crisp, and simpler steak seasoning would go a long way.

Stopped in for lunch on our way from the valley to Sedona. It was OK, but nothing special. Will not return.

full of bikers but very delicious burgers and very funny female bartender...i saw a sign on the buletin board about a past Zumba meetup, so I told her i was there for the zumba class, we cracked up over that and had some drinks, its a real fun place. always very full too.

I had the "Ragin' Cajun" chicken sandwich. It was a cajun grilled chicken breast with bacon, avocado slices, pepperjack cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. Very tasty. Service was fast and efficient. Drinks were refilled and food delivered in a timely manner. Free live music since it was Saturday night. Basically one guy with an acoustic guitar. Nice little place. Has a train car in the back and an outdoor patio. Worth stopping by if you need a quick bite to eat. They also have some vegetarian options if you need that.

This isn't a great place but it's not all bad either. It's a "locals" place so if you're not from around there don't expect much. (At least that was our experience) The food is okay, the beer is cold and the price wasn't bad but there are better places around.

I thought this would be a great little place but we came in with a big group that was pre - planned & they had a hard time delivering. Salad bar was good, Grasshopper legs were amazing but 'The Dipper' left a lot to be desired. Service was very slow & they just seemed disorganized.

The place is a bit out of the way, but worth the extra drive. The food is very good bar food and a pleasant alternative to the inflated prices found in Sedona. I had the french dip sandwich and my wife had the ribs. Both were very good. The clientele is made up of working people from the surrounding houses and ranches - a pleasant alternative to the Sedona tourist crowd.

I love this place for good 'ole American food. It has a great "locals," vibe to it and given more time, I'd like to chill for awhile and have a few beers with the locals. Great burgers!

Heard a rumor about good food and the coldest beer. Well, dude was right! Yeehaw! This pretty little gemstone is located in downtown Cornville, AZ. Don't drive too fast because "downtown" is one stop light, so its easy to miss. It has the old western feel when you drive up, but more of a dive when inside. (dive is not a bad thing). I am happy to say, the rumor was right! beers on tap and damn they are cold. Food was great too, well at least the nachos. We split the nachos because they aren't messin around with portion size. three people easily could have enjoyed sharing it. TVs set up everywhere, so I imagine its a good place to come watch sports. In addition, the bar tender was very helpful showing us on the map where to find some cool hikes and ideal places to mountain bike. Go check this place out. remember, easy to miss, but you will be happy you didn't.

It was okay. Considering it is on of the closest open restaurants we could find. The burger was good, but my cajun pasta was not that great. Everything is a tad over priced, but it is ok to go to if you don't have many options.

This is a great place to fill up on a hearty meal before launching into a tour of the three Arizona wineries that are a stone's throw from the place! The website boasts "best ribs" honors. I didn't have ribs but I did have the BBQ beef sandwich special and it hit the spot! Normally, I prefer bold spicy BBQ sauce over sweet. This is a sweet sauce but it was great. I understand the potato salad is really fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try it because "mom" was "on her way with it" but it was going to be a while. I asked, and it was confirmed, that "mom" makes the potato salad from scratch! I'm gonna have to make a trip back just to try it!!
